The way Son of Nyx is made up of all of the choruses and hooks from the other songs, but they're all distorted???

They sound wrong like you're sinking into them. Like you're dropping layer by layer. Like you're in the middle of a hurricane. Like you are Francesca and Icarus at the same time.

It's falling, but rising all at once, and you never know where you are, so you know you're in the middle.

Mermaid Dream, pirate Hob. in 1700's, golden age of piracy.

Hob has been sailing his entire life, by entire life I mean he was taken by his father on the ship because Hob's mother died when he was 4. When he was 20, he saw a mermaid, or merman, if his flat chest was any indication, sitting by the rocks on the edge of a cave. The merman was the most beautiful creature Hob ever saw. His blue-white skin fading into glittering black scales and his long tale. Black hair, floating and alluring in the air and water alike, black marks around his full black eyes, sharp teeth and long fingers. He could be easily mistaken for a demon. But he was beautiful.

Hob was memorized. He went back every year to that spot JUST to see the merman, even if it was from a distance.

Years went by, surviving by honest means bacme harder, Hob turned to piracy. He still went back to the cave. The merman grew older and somehow more beautiful. His scales were larger, His eyes were wider, his teeth sharper. One day, he gathers enough courage to talk to him. The merman didn't want anything from him but humored him and accepted his company. When he opened his mouth to speak, Hob could swear the most heavenly voices spoke to him.

Over the years, they met at the same spot and Hob told him all about his life in piracy.

This year, he didn't saw him. saddened and almost heartbroken, Hob leaves him a small fortune of gold as he had heard mermaids love it. He thought it was something he said last year that offended the merman.

He soon hears of the rumor, carried by the winds and a mermaid of skin as dark as coffee, of the Burgess, a very corrupt British official, has a very peculiar creature in a gigantic fishbowl and has him in his ship, heading towards the British soil. Where he plans to keep him for his own amusement.

It is a race against the wind and time to get to his stranger in time.

he does reach him, but he is clearly overpowered and outnumbered. he ends up in an epic fight, releasing the merman into the sea and he stays to fight Rodrick but gets stabbed and thrown into the ocean.

There, he hears a familiar voice, telling him to follow him and to rest, for his struggle is over. He feels arms around him and lets it take him to the depth of the oceans. There, he rests intend and allows his wound to heal.
