The hypocritical Woobification of Raven Branwen
I dont think it is a secret to anyone who has followed any RWBY discourse, that female characters are treated VERY differently from male ones in the wider fandom, especially in regards to the morality of their actions. I dare anyone who wishes to enter the words like "Raven" "Ironwood" "Adam" "Cinder: and the like into the search bar of websites like twitter and even Reddit to some extent. What you will find more often than not, besides fan-art and porn are discussions about these characters.
After browsing through these discussions one can quickly notice a pattern. Ironwood and Adam are either demonized or have complicated discussions surrounding them. While characters like Raven and Cinder, while having their detractors mostly have discussions focused on shipping or on justifying/excusing their actions.
Raven Branwen is of course, the most iconic example of this.
Raven Branwen in Canon
In the canon of RWBY, Raven Branwen and her brother Qrow both hail from a bandit tribe. They were sent to Beacon to learn how to kill hunters where they learn the values of family and friendship, with team STRQ becoming close. Raven even marries Tai, her teammate and has a kid with him, then ditches him with the child and leaves Summer to come into the picture while Qrow remains an eternal bachelor.
It is revealed to us that Ozpins tendency to keep secrets is what lead Raven to losing trust and leaving the side of good. That, and feat of Salem who she knows is immortal and thus cannot be killed directly.
She returns to her bandit tribe and becomes a bandit queen, killing entire villages for loot and plunder. One of which we can see in the show.
Her becoming a bandit is not something that was thrust upon her, she was not forced to do it or anything of the sort. She chose to do it under her own volition.
Her only "redeeming" point is not being allied to Salem and having a "I will save you once" rule with those she knows and nothing more.
And yet...
Raven Branwen in Fanon
If we were to follow the most common discussions of Fanon then Raven is a tragic lesbian who could never be with Summer, a mother who understood her limits and wanted her daughter to have a better life than with her and who was forced into the position of providing for her tribe and had absolutely no choice but to raid villages for survival of her poor tribe.
If people arent thirsting over Raven herself and or her "romance" with Summer then one can always find many excuses and people calling her a "tragic" and "understandable" figure. They will say that "Shes not perfect" and things like that when in reality, Raven Branwen is just a straight up evil person in the story. Complicated? Yes. Evil? Also yes.
Her only saving grace is that most of the time she is not an antagonist. And she is not related to Salem and in fact would oppose her if she wasnt a coward. And yet, her actions, her being a literal murderous bandit seem to be ignored by a lot of the fandom.
The same fandom that will give shit to Ironwood for bringing 3 airships to Vale and calling it a "military occupation" and Adam wanting to blow up a train (with its crew) will then turn around and pretend that Raven killing innocent villages for shits and giggles on her own volition never happened.
They will cry about how Ironwood and Adam never deserved redemption! How they are deeply evil and have always been deeply evil people, while convincing everyone that Raven is perfect for redemption and was just "forced" to be a bandit queen.
The hypocricy of the RWBY FNDM is staggering, but not news.
What is worse however is how Raven is seemingly receiving the same if not even faster way of redemption that Emerald has. By now most people have probably seen both the RWBY:Beyond first episode and of course the ending animatic. And who else is there in Vacuo if not Raven. Shes just there. Like she just belongs amongst the heroes despite being a literal BANDIT QUEEN.
Despite Ironwood and Adam turning evil they had a good cause at the end of the day. A cause they wanted to fight for.
And instead the people praise and want the redeption of a terrorist who worked for Salem and a literal bandit queen, both of whom did the things they did out of selfish needs? Seriously?
Whats worse is that it seems that CRWBY is more than okay with that. It seems that this is at least currently one of their goals. Which to me is just staggering.
Conclussion i guess
Sorry for the ranty nature of this post. I know that im preaching to the choir but i just needed to get this out of my chest after seeing 10000000000000 posts about Raven and Summer fucking on twitter. Because yeah, THATS Ravens most identifying feature, being a girlkisser. After fucking years of being called a fascist and a bootliker for simply saying that Ironwoods heel turn was shittily done and that SOME of his plans were good it fucking maddens me to see people simp for a literal BANDIT QUEEN without push-back.

“One chance, Jakesuli. You will only have one chance. Use it well. Our Great Mother favors you, that we know. But this favor hasn’t been granted to you. It has been granted to my granddaughter.”
“I won’t fail.” Not again.
“What does failing mean, I wonder. Would you fail if you take her soul back from her happiest? Or would you fail if you let her have the peace our Great Mother has laid her into?”
“I will get my daughter back. This isn’t her time. If Eywa has given me this chance, then she thinks the same as me.”
“You will take that honor from her, then?” Mo’at was being cryptic, but Jake saw through the exterior of the neutral Tsahik into an exhausted, mourning grandmother. “She was the daughter of Toruk Makto, and he was her last shadow.”
It came back to Jake in a gut-churning realization, it was his shadow that had fallen over you from the light of the torches on the walls as you’d given your last breath. It was his shadow. “No,” he refused, adamantly. “She will get to achieve greater honors of her own than that. I won’t be the one defining her ending.” The last bead of your songcord having his name, Toruk Makto’s name, was supremely wrong to him. He would not accept this fate for you.
“Very well, then.” Secretly, she was pleased with him. With his answer. “Get going. As I said. One chance.”
Tumblr media
Jake would never be able to get used to the magnificence that was Vitraya Ramunong, or, the Tree of Souls. To him, Pandora itself was a marvel already too good to be true that he’d fallen in love with, and abandoned his own race for, there was no getting used to the beauty for a human like him who’d only found it once in neon lights, ever. He could reach the end of his natural lifespan in this body and still there would be much left to discover. That’s why Jake was more vulnerable to one of the beating hearts of Eywa in the shape of a giant, glowing willow tree.
No Na’vi was immune to the soul-purifying, all-consuming, yet being-dwarfing peace enveloping one’s very spirit, in a cradling hug as if they were nothing but a newborn in their mother’s arms. In here, only one fact mattered: they were childrens of Eywa, all of them dear, all of them seen, all of them safe and sound, including him, once alien to Eywa the way Earth was related to Pandora. Everything spoke to him here in a language he didn’t understand, but could respond to, again, in a language he didn’t understand, his soul doing the communicating.
Jake was also a child here, Eywa’s chosen child.
And he had come to her door for the most difficult request of his life, feeling like he was asking his mother for money right after he had crashed their car, unable to look her in the eye and expecting the biggest of scoldings for his shamelessness.
This was nothing like asking for her assistance against the sky people, back then, he had agency, power, the clans backing him up, Toruk. If Eywa didn’t hear him, he would fight until the last drop of blood in his body was spent anyway, he was ready.
Now, he had nothing.
Nothing to offer in return, not one concrete reason as to why he should have his daughter back other than being a desperate father with nowhere to return to other than the mercy of the Great Mother. He just wanted his child. Nothing mattered.
Not how and why Quaritch had spawned right under his nose with an avatar body, not how they could even slither in without detection, not the threat of what the sky people could bring upon their heads with that — nothing, not now. Nothing mattered until he saw this through.
Jake had found the will to quite literally tear himself from your side like nail from flesh only when you’d stabilized enough. Stabilized, as in, the faintest rise and fall of your ribcage Neteyam had to stare from where he was sitting like a sentinel for a full minute to spot, a tideless, still ocean only moving with whiffs of wind, his own breathing unnoticeable — to match yours, or to silence the sounds in his own body to hear better, Jake didn’t know.
No sky person was allowed to take over from Mo’at and Kiri. Norm had told Jake none of this made sense, if the bullet had nicked the bowels enough and the dirt leaked into the bloodstream, the possibility of sepsis was eventual, and if it didn’t, you had bled too much anyway, a blood transfusion was necessary, and the internal organs... — Christ, the amount of bad end scenarios Jake had been subjected to was as if they were telling him to open a grave for you anyway. Tsahik had scoffed into their faces. The way of healing was something none of them would see, she had scoffed. Now ally, or not. You can’t fill a cup that’s already full. Jake was in a hopeless need for water into wine kind of miracle, and honestly, he wasn’t complaining.
Leaving High Camp behind to set off on a journey calling for only him was one of the hardest things he’d done yet, the silhouette of you lying motionless, his family scattered around the tent, shadowed in their own mourning, folded into themselves was burned into his mind, glimpses of their pain visible from eclipses of light occasionally falling on their faces. A sight he never wanted to see again in his life if he could help it. It was a frosted, iron-thorned hand squishing his heart into ground meat.
Tuk, ever the stingy monopolizer, had brought her favorite toys to scatter around you because she thought they’d comfort you the way they comforted her, had tried snuggling with your unconscious body and was warned by Kiri only to hold your hand instead. She had taken to playing with your fingers, the depressive gloom of years beyond her age crooked on her. Jake couldn’t stand the sight of the little girl telling you bedtime stories he and Neytiri used to, for a moment only, he could pretend you were just going along with your sister’s whims and smiling with your eyes closed as you listened.
Kiri, buzzing around to change the bandage-leaves that soaked up some sort of sickly black colored puss every couple hours, had explained to him the salve they used on you was getting the infection and the splinters of the bullet they couldn’t get out of your body, which had turned the color of your blood into that — but the thing was, given the dwelling of the woodsprite in your mouth, they couldn’t feed you the porridge-like mix to speed up the process of blood production in the bone marrow, and she was exerting herself looking for some other way.
Before he’d left the tent for good, she had handed him the bullet— or, the biggest piece of it they’d taken out of your body, it was a mere pursed and shriveled, tiny metal. The exhausted girl had stammered when explaining that whatever they’d hit you with, had broken into shards inside you upon impact, creating severe lacerations and lethal hemorrhage that they’d worked tirelessly to pick out.
Jake had stared hollowly at it for the longest time. This small thing. It was such a small thing that took you from him.
The sentence that sent you away was also as small, and damning as this bullet. ‘Go.’
Kiri had seen it sink in his face, closing her five-fingered hand on his palm, on the bullet. “You should get going, dad,” she’d said. “We’re okay here.”
Jake had taken one last look. At Neytiri wiping your body to clean all the congealed blood. At Tuk holding your hand. At Kiri trying to fill in shoes bigger than her feet. At you lying down with trinkets surrounding you like funeral flowers. And forced his body to keep moving when all he wanted to do was stay.
He’d then heard Lo’ak complaining to his older brother outside the tent, “How can he be so cold?” The heaviness was getting to the boy, agitated and misapprehending. But he was always this way, if something was out of his control, the inability to act to change it manifested as frustration, blind anger. “Why is he so… unresponsive? Emotionless?”
Jake would have let it slide had it been about something else, but his children running their mouths not knowing he was a hair's breadth away from going clinically insane had gotten to him. He was burning alive.
“You think I don’t care, boy?” He emerged from the tent like some last boss, initially not caring he’d scared the brothers. “You think I don’t feel at all? My own child dying in the same arms I used to hold her as a baby — you think that doesn’t faze me?”
Neteyam, the mediator, or rather, the blame-taker, ran to his little brother’s rescue, the latter too flabbergasted to form any words yet. “Dad, he doesn’t mean—”
“I know exactly what he means.” When the anger subsided, Jake sighed with the weariness of an ancient man. The flames had died before they could climb, he was too exhausted for it. Honesty and trust, as Neytiri had said.
Having lost everything, having nothing to lose, and having a lot to lose were somehow simultaneously the same thing to Jake in the predicament he’d found himself in. “I know how you see me. You only know me as the person I want to show you.”
Lo’ak’s go-to answer was presented to Jake on a silver platter. “Sorry, sir.”
It wasn’t what he wanted to hear at all. Jake wasn’t trying to get Lo’ak to bow his head. “Don’t apologize—” He cut himself short, licking his chapped lips, and after rubbing his face, he’d put his hands on the boy’s shoulders. “Lo’ak. Son. I feel this, alright? Of course I do. I’m your father.” He shook him gently, feeling the words weren’t reaching him, who was just staring at something on the ground off to the side. “There’s no greater pain a parent can go through in life than losing his child. You can’t understand what this means right now—what it’s doing to me. You will only know when you become a father yourself.” He gently tapped Lo’ak on the chin so he would raise his head and look at him in the eye already. And when he did, Jake said what he said slowly, hoarsely. “But know this. Know I will lose myself if I lose you, or any of your siblings.” He turned to Neteyam as well, who was watching in full alert mode. “I’m fighting not to lose my sanity as we speak.”
Lo’ak swallowed, unsure and weirded out to hear something like this for the first time in his life. Jake didn’t blame him. He was never emotionally upfront or honest before, not even used to it, more awkward with it than his boys were. But none of that mattered. Not anymore, after what happened to you because of his shortcomings. “You just look so composed—“
“I have to be.” Jake shook his head, eyelids hanging heavy, his whole head was heavy. “I just can’t crumble under it, do you understand? I have to be strong. I can’t lose myself in it. Your sister needs me. You need me. To be strong.” He took his hands off the boy’s shoulders, putting a palm on his cheek and patting a few, fatherly times before backing off altogether. “Never say that I don’t care. Never. I might not show it—and it’s a father’s duty not to show it, so my family will have a stable anchor. Get what I’m saying?”
Lo’ak looked reassured, lighter. So that’s what Neytiri had meant. “How… how can I help?”
His youngest son’s inclination to get to the root of the problem and pump out solutions was in consanguineous with his inability to stop and wait, uncomfortable in his skin when he couldn’t do anything to improve the situation and was confronted with the intimacy of having to feel, always wanting to act. Lo’ak was like Jake in that way. Awkward when it came to communication. Dishonest with themselves.
“Stay here.” Jake said, right from his heart. “Stay safe. I don’t wish for anything else in this world.”
Lo’ak’s eyes softened, and as the father, Jake felt the renewal of the bond between them, saw the understanding in his youngest son, saw something else than the guilt and regret over being caught after mischief, for once. “I’m sorry, dad.”
“Don’t apologize.” He shared a meaningful look with him, trying to convey, again, his apology wasn’t what he wanted. Yet, his sons were defaulted to saying sorry half the time they spoke to him nowadays. Jake was understanding the severity of it, too much too late. Lo’ak nodded, ears tipped down slightly.
Then he turned to the eldest. “Neteyam—”
But he opened his mouth before Jake could say anything else. Ready. Always on his feet. “Yes, I will—”
Jake clicked his tongue. “Rest.”
Neteyam was about to say yes to whatever he was told to do, as always, but stopped right in the middle of it, voice catching in his throat, eyes blinking in confusion. “What?”
“Rest.”
“But—”
“Rest, Neteyam, I won’t tell you again.”
God knows he needed it. Neteyam looked like he’d been having night terrors for days, accumulated anxiety making him jumpy. “Sorry, sir.”
“Stop—“ Jake caught himself before he could raise his voice. “Why are you apologizing?”
Neteyam didn’t talk for a while. But when he did, he was looking up at him underneath his lashes, unable to keep eye contact for more than two seconds. “It’s my fault.”
“Bro,” Lo’ak said, a pitiful objection.
Jake knew where this was going. “What is?”
“I should have been there.” He pressed his mouth into a thin line before furrowing his brow, closing his eyes. Jake knew what he was seeing, repeated over and over again in his mind. “I should have known right away when I couldn’t catch up to her. I could have prevented it. It’s my responsibility.” One tear slipped by as he hung his head. “My fault.”
There it is.
Jake had told him before. “You’re the older brother, you gotta act like it.” — even though you and him were more like affable twins than older brother and younger sister that he never had to explicitly be a guardian to you like he was to Lo’ak, he had to be thinking this was his biggest failure. Neteyam was just reflecting what he’d been taught, the standards his father was holding him up to. Of course the boy had been overthinking it to the point where he was the catalyst to the event by not predicting your fakeout.
“No,” Jake rasped, after a beat. “This is on me first, and the sky people who got to her second. And that’s the end of the story.”
Neteyam, up until this point, had to bear half the blame, if not the rest of it, for the consequences of his siblings’ actions. Upon receiving this kind of answer, he startled with an incredulous gasp and full stare at Jake. “But I—”
“It’s not about you, Neteyam,” Jake explained, although the words were harsh, he had done his best to soften the impact. “I did this. Blame me, okay?”
‘How could I?’ was written in neon letters over the boy’s head even if he didn’t say anything. Too good-natured. He idolized Jake a lot more than the man deserved. “Mother was… she was… She is grieving, she doesn’t mean it.”
“You gotta stop making excuses for people, boy. Especially when they’re in the right.” A smile pulled on his lips, but died as it was born. “I pushed and pushed until we reached the edge, thinking there was never an edge at all. I should have known better. I should have been better. This is between me and your sister, and that’s why it is me who has to go to the Tree of Souls.”
And he’d left, but not before pulling his boys into his chest, cradling the back of their heads against himself, the smell of home repulsing instead of comforting. Prickles on his skin was the comfort he got from being able to hug his children when you were absent. It didn’t feel right.
He missed you dearly, an aching, gaping hole in his very being that only grew larger as he saw what you left behind half-completed or messy like you’d stood up and gone off for a minute to come back to it later —
The unmade pallet from the night of your Iknimaya argument that Jake had shed tears on when he’d seen the state of it, having the signs of someone getting up from it like you would be returning to go back to sleep any second.
The unfinished bark plate you had set aside to eat later and fought Lo’ak not to touch it. a squabble Jake had to break before you started wasting food by throwing it at each other.
The stack of fruits you’d gathered that you never shared except for Neytiri sometimes.
The half-carved cup you were working on because the regular cups weren’t big enough for your water needs and you didn’t like to refill it about three times until you were satisfied.
The incomplete anklet you were making out of rainbow beads for Tuk that was confidential to everyone but Jake, who knew from observing you, of course — you were missing a couple colors that you just couldn’t seem to find, nagging his head off to just let you roam around farther and there was no danger as the sky people couldn’t get in the vortex.
The little animal doodles you scratched at your side of the tent when you couldn’t sleep at nights, waking Jake up in the process every single time to listen until your breathing evened out as sleep retook you in its arms again, because he was bodily programmed to startle awake at one single rustle in his living quarters from his Marine days and fell into old habits after the return of the sky people, he knew you had developed insomnia from being uncomfortable at High Camp, longing for your hammock cocooned in the safety and comfort of the forest.
And the dumb romance novels you had taken from the humans that you, Kiri and Tuk giggled about at girl’s nights reading out loud, Spider invited as an honorary guest at times, just so you could tease Kiri about him and annoy your brothers that they weren’t allowed in, but the human boy was.
All of them had no owner now. Neither of your family members could look at them, your ghost would appear in precious memories beside your belongings if they looked too much. He didn't need to concentrate for a phantom of you to appear, you were everywhere he looked, and even now, as the gently pulsating lavender humming, a song from Eywa herself, right underneath the veinlike, labyrinthine roots was the cool summer rain on Jake’s sizzling skin, all he could see was your first communion with Eywa in his arms while Neytiri formed the tsaheylu, the clan spread all around them in celebration.
“You’ve called, and I’ve answered,” he greeted in positivity. “I think this is the most direct you’ve been with me in a long while.”
He didn’t know if it was Eywa or you he was saying this to. He genuinely didn’t know.
Kneeling, and putting his arms on the mossy, thick root, he looked up to see the woodsprites swaying and floating in the air. He reached for his braid, letting the squirming nerve-endings coil around the white-cored lavender thread closest to him, taking in the presence of Eywa, all around yet nowhere at all, but listening. No sign of you. Was he supposed to talk like this? Just like this? Was he not allowed to see you?
Jake had to admit he had been harboring the tiniest expectation of meeting you somehow, or hearing your voice through the connection like he did with a Tree of Voices when Mo’at had cryptically informed him of his chance. But this was it?
If he failed, this would be it.
“I guess this isn’t all that different,” he said out loud, instead of thinking inwards where the confusion flew. “It’s been like this for a while now, you and I. You talk, I don’t hear you. I talk, you don’t hear me. We throw the same ball at each other only for it to bounce back. Monologuing to a tree is the same thing, except it doesn’t talk back like you do.”
He looked up and around, there was nothing else to do. The air was the same as it always was in here. Always accommodating to what each Na’vi found comforting. “The last time I came here like this was to ask for Eywa’s help in the last stand against sky people. I told her I would fight either way, I knew that’s why she’d chosen me. All my life, all I’ve done was fight. Even when I wasn’t able to, I was fighting lesser battles with the excuse of not having anything to fight for. It’s all I’ve known. All I’ve ever done. It’s what I was best at.” His brow twitched, and Jake tried to keep his composure, not because he didn’t want anybody to see, no, it was to keep his shit together so he didn’t fuck this up. He had to be honest. His pride was the last thing he needed in his way at the moment.
“You were born to a different man. To a changed man. To a father who could let go because he thought his family was safe. You got to meet the man I used to be when my reason for fighting came back from my star. I know you don’t like that person — you can’t — couldn’t get used to him. I know.”
From the discomfort, his fingers dug into the moss first, and found the bark of the root, his fist curling on it next. “But I had to keep fighting.” He softly brought his fist back on the root. “The strong prey on the weak, that’s just how things are. That’s how I had it on my star. And my kids — you, you are weak, and it’s not an insult — it’s not me criticizing, Jesus, you are just children, and there’s a war on your damn heads. That’s what I mean. That’s what I’ve always meant. It’s natural that you are weak, Eywa was kind enough to let you be soft. Not Earth, though, never Earth.”
Jake had to clench his teeth and bite the anger into the inside of his mouth to not be boiled alive — not to let it reach to your side. He let out a soundless snarl. “You would never be ready for the cruelty of Earth, I would never wish that upon any of you. But it was brought to you. Right at your doorstep. I couldn’t protect you from it by hugs and kisses. You wouldn’t be safe from a gun extended to you by extending a branch in return. No.”
He reached and caressed the glowing thread, brows furrowed. “I did what I thought was right to prepare you. Every single one of you. I was making you tough. I had to. To protect you. And of course there would be clashing along the way, it’s what happens between parent and child. We fight. We fight like cats and dogs for dominance. You try me to show strength. I stand my ground to let you know you gotta do better.”
He had fired those sentences with incoherent speed, and when he got to the end of it, Jake got choked up. Stopped for a moment, took a breath. Blinking several times, his tone became vulnerable, he didn’t have anyone in front of him, but he tore away his gaze anyway. “Somewhere along the way, things just… Without me noticing, everything…” He sighed through his nose, his voice nothing but a whisper. “I fought more battles than I fought for my family. I thought I was doing my job as a father when I didn’t even know shit about being a father.”
A couple seconds floated by, and his gaze was stolen by a lone woodsprite descending down until it staggered on the fist he had against the root. The shine of it reflected from the mistiness of his eyes. His lower lip slightly trembled at the thought of it being you. This little woodsprite. You?
“The thing is, I’m lost, sweetheart,” he admitted quietly, small, shaky, not taking his eyes off the woodsprite. “I don’t know what I’m doing. I sit here, I look back, and think why I keep fighting. We could have migrated. Looked for a new Hometree. Another forest. Left the humans alone. Or made peace. A treaty. Something. None of your lives had to be sullied by war. Yet I chose this. I chose to fight, as I ‘ve always done, because now I had something to fight for. And the fighting wasn’t limited to them, I fought Neteyam, I fought Lo’ak, I fought you, my own kids, and I didn’t even know.”
He reached for it with his other hand, tentatively, scared that it would fly away with the slightest contact. But he was able to touch the top of the woodsprite ever so slightly, the little zap making all the hair on his body stand up. Jake swallowed thickly, his whole head on fire. “I don’t know what to do. I just miss you. I miss you so much, sweet girl. I wish you would scream at me. Say you hate me for all I care. Anything. Hate me until the day you die, but do it with all of your family surrounding you in old age, in peace. I would be content knowing you are under the same sky as me. But I’m forgetting your voice already, and I—” He held back a violent sob, hissed to not let it out, and groaned, getting angry at himself for the emotions. He shut his eyes tightly, willing away the tears. “I wish I could say these to your face. I wish I could see you one last time, smiling at me.”
Having everything to lose. Having lost everything. Having nothing to lose. Three different meanings had coiled around each other like snakes to become one singular outcome in linear relation of cause-and-effect through you. It wasn’t a cycle.
Having something to fight for. Having nothing left to fight for. Having nothing to fight for. You were everything. Everything. What could Jake do? How was he supposed to fight when he had no concrete opponent?
“I see you.”
The voice — your voice, albeit much, much younger, almost made him jump. When his eyes shot open, Jake was in a different location. He knew this place. The creek away from the village he and his family often frequented.
The twilight penumbra of the eclipse dimmed the shadows embracing the forest, but the ethereally glowing lights of all colors illuminated and got reflected from the water as if it was a mirror. Above and all around him were lazily dancing fireflies — or, rather, bioluminescent bugs he didn’t know the names of, tiny stars floating in the air like glitter. It was magical.
Jake realized with aching melancholy that this was the first time he’d taken you out on an eclipse to show you the beauty of the forest on a special father-daughter date. The exact memory.
The breath that left him was shaky as he felt the presence sitting right beside him, in the corner of his vision, he saw the ripples on the shining water made by swinging legs.
Jake froze for a second. Unmoving. Not looking at all — because if this was a dream, or a hallucination, he wouldn’t be able to bear it. His breathing got louder, more labored, the log underneath his hands was so realistically textured and damp. If he looked. If he looked, you would disappear. That’s how he felt.
He was supposed to talk. But now, his ribcage was holding the words hostage, burning with the strain of the pile-up.
“But I’m sad you don’t see me,” you said, and he was shaken by hearing your voice yet again, remembering the moment he found himself here, how he’d heard — ‘I see you’. “You don’t even want to look at me.”
So much hurt and vulnerability in that sentence that it left him breathless.
It all happened in a matter of seconds. Him launched into his own turmoil racking his brain about how Quaritch was back as an avatar, ignoring to look at you to protect his composure and just trying to think, think — think, of a plan, of a how, of what to do. You calling after him once Neytiri, you and he arrived at High Camp after dodging Quaritch’s men. Him purposefully walking away because he needed to cool off and not to explode on you right there and there.
That whole time, Jake hadn’t looked at you. If he did, he would have seen you needed help.
He shattered, all of his walls crumbling down, stripped down to bare despair.
“Oh sweetheart.” Before he knew it, he had wrapped his arms around you in a crushing hug, basically snatching you off from where you were sitting and on his lap, and your warmth, your pulse, your tangible existence wrenched a shiver out of him — and he buried his face to the little crook of your neck, taking your scent in, hiding his trembling face and the quiver of his arms by holding you tight. You were here. As your younger self, no older than eight, but he had you. Not bloody and battered in his arms, but alive, so alive. “Oh sweet girl, my sweet girl… I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.” He kissed the side of your head, felt the real tickle of your hair against his face, blessed with the soothe of his child’s smell. “I see you. Of course I see you. I’ve always seen you.”
The snowflake-frail snivel followed by your sobbing sniffle broke his heart into pieces. “You’re a liar.” He shook his head, hugging you tighter. “You’re mean to me. You’re so mean to me.”
“I’m sorry.” That was all he could say. All he could do with his thrashing soul smoldering at the wetness of your tears on his shoulder. “I am mean. I’m sorry… You’re right, I’m sorry.”
“It hurt so much.” You wailed. “It hurt a lot.”
Jake began to caress your head with an awkward, clumsy, panicked hand, disturbed as to if you meant the moment of your death — at him pressing on the wound with all he had to stop the bleeding, or he and your strained relationship in general. “I know, sweetheart,” he said anyway, a stone clogging his throat. He didn’t try to explain, or tell you why, didn’t argue that it wasn’t what he meant to do. It didn’t matter. Nothing mattered. He had you in his arms. “I know. I know.”
You wouldn’t get to be younger than this. And maybe, he would never get to see you be older, either. The thought crumpled his face like some piece of paper. Jake just wanted to hold you. And when you wrapped your little arms around him too, freely crying in his arms, a couple tears escaped his eyes as well, he didn’t know what kind of face he was making, perhaps it was better that you didn’t see him crumble.
In the middle of it somewhere, he realized that you were younger because it was your inner child that needed this, she was more honest — more open with Jake. It caused him to sway with you back and forth, ribcage hurting with each breath. And you let it all out, clinging to him.
“I love you, always,” he whispered, watching the bioluminescent bugs, when you were calmer and had fallen silent on his chest, not wanting to let him go and just listening to his heartbeat. “Even if I don’t show it — especially when I don’t show it. You are loved, my sweet girl, more than you know. More than you’ll ever know. More than I can show.” He looked down at the top of your head, agonized. “But I want to try. I want to show you more, moving forward.”
Knowing what he was insinuating, “But it’s nice here,” you said, voice thick and coarse from crying. You still didn’t pull back to look at him. Both of you, from the start of this, never looked at one another. Not once. Embarrassed and shameful to be honest, Jake thought. That pride you two shared. “You’re not mean to me here.”
But he needed to see you. You needed to be seen. So, as gently as he could, he unwrapped your arms around him, and took your baby cheeks in his hands, and looked you in the eyes. Another tear slipped from him. “You been listenin’ to me, right sweetheart? From the start?” You nodded adorably. You wouldn’t have said oel ngati kameie and accepted to let him see you if you hadn’t felt his true intentions and heart through him pouring it all out at the Tree of Souls. “I’m hiding a lot of things. But I want to be open with you. You wanna know the secret why I’m… mean?” You nodded again, more reluctant this time. “It’s because I’m scared.”
You gasped, genuinely lost and shocked, and he tried not to smile at the purity, the innocence. “You? You’re scared?”
“All the damn time,” he whispered, landing a kiss on your temple, his opposite thumb tracing a loving line on your other temple. “Every day. Every night.”
“But you’re Toruk Makto. You’re never scared.”
“I’m also a dad,” he said sorrowfully, as if he was giving out a secret. “And it’s precisely why I’m scared. I’m scared for you. For your siblings. Of losing you. It turns into anger. Anger turns into irreparable damage. Things I can’t take back.”
In the blink of an eye, you were back to your real age. For some reason he couldn’t quite grasp, you had shed the exterior of your childhood. But he didn’t mind, didn’t let you off his lap.
“Don’t be scared, I’m here,” you said, putting your own small palm on his cheek, upset by the fact that he was feeling like that in the first place rather than whatever explanation he had. Your response was also childish, but he leaned into your touch anyway, comforted regardless, even if you were already gone — for this moment, he could ignore that no, you weren’t here at all. “If you told us, we would have been more careful not to make you sad.”
Ah, he was being lectured on communication by his kid. It had a certain flavor of humbleness to it. Jake adored it nonetheless. “I know,” he said, “I’m sorry. I won’t be mean anymore.”
“That’s a lie.”
Jake couldn’t stop the laugh, though it was tottering. “Yeah, it is. But I promise you that I’ll never hurt you again.”
“That’s a lie too. Wasn’t it you who said not to make promises you can’t keep?”
“Alright, smartypants, let me rephrase it then,” the little glimpses of your brash self made him happy. “I will never intentionally hurt you, and if I end up doing so, unknowingly, I will always make it up to you. No exceptions.”
You were acting uninterested, but stole intrigued glances at him. “How are you gonna make it up to me?”
“I’ll let you choose, how does that sound?” Jake tapped your nose. “In return, if I don’t know and haven’t taken the first step, you’ll have to tell me outright what I did.”
You deadpanned. “But I always do.”
“No, you don’t.” He raised one of his eyebrows. “You become passive-aggressive when you’re annoyed and pick fights with me.”
“That’s not—”
“Sweetheart.”
“Okay, fine.” You huffed. The normalcy had made him forget just what he was doing here. “But you get angry.”
“What I get angry at is—” He cut himself off with a tongue click. “Not important. I do get angry. But at sincere honesty, us just talking it out, I could never get angry at that. Is the difference clear?”
“I think it is.” You were apprehensive about something, your fingers on his neck flexing as if you wanted to pull them back and break the hug. “But you have to promise.”
“I promise.” And then, Jake remembered, a new fire hardening his face, not in anger, but determination. “And speaking of which. I would never. Ever. Not in a million years would get angry or blame you for getting hurt to that degree — for others, humans, avatars, whoever and whatever the hell they are, hurting you, I could never get mad at you for it. Do you understand me? Your safety is the most important to me. I could never hate you for it.” His voice dropped down to a softer, gentler tone just above a whisper. “There is nothing in this world that’ll make me hate you. Nothing. I will love you through the most heinous crimes and in inexcusable deeds, you will find forgiveness in me even if there’s nobody left, that’s a father’s heart. Forever and always, I am with you.” He touched his forehead, and then yours. “I see you.”
You avoided eye contact.
Ah, yes, the famous emotional awkwardness. He was sort of aware his feelings had reached you, you just didn’t know what to say. Jake hadn’t been like this with you for the longest time. So, he decided to make you more comfortable. “Yes I will get mad at you for breaking curfew, and yes, we might stop talking for a while and beef about the dumbest things if the fight is too intense — but always, always come to me when something is wrong. I will drop everything without hesitation.” He leaned in a bit to catch your wayward stare. “Got it?”
You murmured. “Okay.”
“Are we clear?”
You murmured once more. “Yeah.”
“Repeat it, then.”
There was something between cringing and unwillingness on your face, but at his pointed look, you sighed, giving in. “Always come to you if something’s wrong even if we’re fighting.”
“That’s right,” he affirmed, encouraging to let you know this wasn’t embarrassing. “What else?”
You shrugged. “I don’t know.”
“Dad will always love you.” He nudged you, noting the flick of your ears in happiness when he’d said it. “Come on, say it.”
You didn’t look at him when you said it, but your voice was light. “Dad will always love me…”
“Dad will never hate you.”
Sheepishness took over, making Jake smile. “Dad will never hate me.”
“And. Come talk to me about it if I’ve ever hurt you without noticing so I can make it up to you.”
“Always go to you if I’m hurt and you’re unaware of it.”
“That’s right,” in this form as well, he gave your temple another kiss, heart soaring at your beautiful smile he had been dying to see. “Good girl.”
“You’re giving me a lot of power.”
“Nothing my mighty hunter can’t handle.”
The smile on your face died down. It came to Jake right away what had gone wrong. “Sweetheart—” “I didn’t mean that. You know—” But you didn’t know. Jake had to stop trying to make it easier on himself. “I’m proud of you. I’m so proud of you. About everything. About the ikran, I’m so goddamn proud. I said it, and I can’t take that back, I was angry and I was trying reverse psychology — you know what, it doesn’t matter. But you are my mighty hunter. Will always be.”
You got confident a bit, but were still testing the waters. “Well I proved I am.”
“Yes, you did,” he rejoiced, no rejection or doubt whatsoever. “Message received, Lima Charlie.”
You giggled freely, joyfully at the recognition, and Jake ached again remembering how much he’d missed that carefree, precious thing, he swore pixie dust was in it. You slipped from his lap to sit crossed-legged beside him, and he instantly missed being able to hold you close. “Wish you were there to see me.”
“Me too, sweet girl.” Your Iknimaya was a disaster. A long-passed, sacred tradition broken wasn’t as important to him as it was to Neytiri — but he knew she longed to see you complete it, by your side, as eagerly as he did. And you had been alone in your pride, when he knew from a very young age, you had been the most excited for it. Everything had been ruined and there was nothing he could do to undo it. “Will you tell me about it?”
The phantom of pensiveness on his face hadn’t quite registered with you yet, getting excited to tell him all about it like nothing had happened the moment you knew Jake wanted to know. As if you weren’t dead. As if nothing was wrong. “Well first of all, I broke Neteyam’s record.”
A mournful smile tugged on his lips. “Did you now?”
“Hell yeah!” You started gesturing with your arms. “It took, like, two minutes? One minute? Too easy.”
“You know easy means the ikran didn’t give you much of a fight, right?”
“Or, or.” One finger was raised up at him to raise another option. “I was too skilled.”
“The ikran might have been meh about you.” Jake teased. “You sure it chose you? Or did you just chase it down and it was stuck with you?”
“That’s so wrong!” He threw his head back to laugh at your outburst. “He was watching me get there the whole time! Like, from the start. His eye was on me, I just know it. You’re just jealous you didn’t get Bob like I got Jack. I was badass.”
That made him pause. “Jack?”
“Yeah, his name’s Jack.”
He couldn’t imagine Neytiri’s reaction to the blandest name imaginable, oh god. “Why?”
“Named him after you.” You tipped your head at him, raising your brows. “It’s healing, you know. He listens to me without questioning. He’s also very sweet. Unlike a certain someone.”
“Oh you little shit—”
“I didn’t say anything.” Raising your hands in defense first, you crossed your arms on your chest next. “Certain someone can mean anyone. It can mean Lo’jack—”
“Lo’jack, really? Really?” Jake half-snorted, half-scoffed. “This a new one after Lovak?”
“Jackiri—”
“Jackiri is pretty sweet, c’mon now,” he gave a blank stare. “Hope you’re not gonna say Jackeyam.”
“Jacktirey?” You asked, undecided. “She’s an anklebiter.”
“Oh, for sure.”
“Could be Jack the Ripper, Bojack Horseman, Jack-in-a-box. Jack-o-lantern.”
“All people, of course.”
“Yeah, all people.” You snapped your fingers in mock-remembrance. “Hit the road Jack.”
“Oh wow, even him?” Jake lowered his voice, leaning towards you, mocking astonishment. “Legendary figure, that guy.”
“Jack of All Trades.”
“Well, that ikran really seems to be one to me.”
“I know, right?” You stopped, and he saw that thought process, and before he could open his mouth, you blurted it out. “Unlike a certain someone I know.”
“You punk.” Jake pushed you lightly by your shoulder. “You’re pushin’ it.”
You smiled with all your teeth at him, with hands on your calves, leaning down to act cute, and Jake could pretend this was normal. That he’d fixed everything. And all was right in the world now that you were laughing with him — he’d made you smile. .
But suddenly you looked scared, looking at something over his shoulder, shrunken pupils focusing on him and whatever it was rapidly. It kicked him awake from his delusion. He tensed, tail jumping upwards, straight as a rod. “What is it, sweetheart? What’s wrong?”
Your breath hitched, and the next thing he knew, you had pushed him away, and he was falling towards the water. The last thing he saw was only a blur of you — the bioluminescent bugs became shooting stars with a thread of glow left behind them, the whole world tilted, but he didn’t hit the water, instead, he rolled down the small slope he had to climb to reach the tree.
Disoriented, he saw the root was almost split in half — bullet marks, a cloud of splinters and debris was flying around where he used to be sitting.
A lone avatar just ahead. Having made it all the way to the Tree of Souls. He didn’t know where this man had come from.
Heart picking up and roaring in his ears, all Jake could think about was, One chance.
He hadn’t even spoken to you properly yet, hadn’t said all the things he wanted to, hadn't even gotten your word, and this man — this son of a bitch — humans had taken you once again.
Once again.
You will only have one chance.
“Lucky asshole,” the man looked at him behind the barrel of the long assault rifle. “Gonna make you pay for what you pulled yesterday.”
Your ethereal smile going up in smokes at the back of his head, Jake saw red.

2021
Everything was so blurry. You could see the illumination coming from your phone, little blurry grey and blue texts. You couldn't feel your body, ragged, unsteady breaths falling to and from your lungs.
"Block him. And delete his number. I don't want you to go out with him or be seen with him ever again." Your father's strong voice was the only sound in the room. You looked up at him with pleading eyes, but he wouldn't even look at you, rubbing his eyes as he sat on the bed of your hotel room.
Too many things were happening at once. This wasn't fair. This was wrong. "Aber papa." [but dad] "My words are final, Y/N." He spoke with such authority and strictness, you hated it when he was like that with you. Looking back down at you phone, you saw the 'seen' under the last bubble of text you sent.
Panic shot through you like a sharp arrow, hurt climbing through you. Scrambling quickly, you block the number and delete the contact. You couldn't bare to see the reaction or the reply. And you stood like that for a few minutes, the world falling apart as Toto talked. But you weren't listening. And you didn't want to listen. You didn't want to hear his voice.
And before you were to even realize it, you'd smashed the phone against the wall.
You tore the Mercedes shirt off your body, replaced it with a random sweater, stomping around the room, collecting your things. "What are you doing?" Toto stood up, watching you stuff you belongings in your bag. He held your wrist to stop you but you only yanked your arm back, shouting something at him, anything at him.
Toto was defiantly taken aback. He's never seen his little girl like this. Eyes red with tears, yet so angry. He never even thought he'd hear such hurtful words from you either. No father ever wants to hear 'i hate you' from their daughter, and it hurt right in his chest. You shoved the Mercedes shirt in chest, zipping up your bag and headed straight for the door.
"My love—" "Ich bin keine tochter von dir." [I'm no daughter of yours] Was the last thing he heard from you before the door was slammed shut.

2023
The Las Vegas GP had truly ruined the city. Max couldn't even have a nice drive from his hotel to the circuit in peace. The traffic was heavy and the honking was loud. At this point if max could, he'd just dump the car in any corner and walk the few kilometres himself. But he couldn't. And this added another reason as to why he hated this Grand Prix so much.
Try something else, he told himself. Disconnect. Max turned on the radio flipping through the channels every two seconds when his ear caught something. His stomach was flipped upside down and he was pretty sure he felt like his lungs would explode.
"You broke up with Y/N L/N recently." "Yeah, I have." "But she was such a nice girl." "She is. She really is. She wasn't clingy or needy. Like the perfect amount." "And beautiful as well." "Very beautiful, if you get what i mean." The men on the podcast laughed. Max felt him self frown. How dare they talk about you like this was some sort of goldy locks story.
"Yeah, She's perfect and all. But she's really hung up on her ex. You didn't even have to ask her, you could just look at her and tell that she wanted something else. I'm not going to say names, but the guy really fucked her up."
fucked her up? Max felt his heart skip a beat, or even more likely, it stopped beating at all. He turned the radio off quickly, gripping the steering wheel till his knuckles bled white. Of course he had fucked you up, no wonder things went the way they did. They shouldn't have went that way. He should've never gotten his rival team's boss' daughter to fall for him.
No! What was Max thinking? The months he spent with you were the best things that have ever happened to him. It wasn't his fault. How would he know the Mercedes and Red Bull relationship would grow so bitter. How would he knew you'd be caught in the cross fire. He spends one winter break with you and then it all rips to shreds.
Was that why you changed your Last name? So he wouldn't find you? Must've been since it did work in your favour.
Y/N L/N.
★ ☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Y/N L/N, Max thought as he typed the name into google. Your face was the first thing to pop up and Max had to hold down a gulp.
You definitely grew up. The playful and bubbly aura to the girl had almost completely dissipated, leaving a quiet and mature woman who looked very serious and uninterested, with a defiantly much more womanly body, enough to get you on the cover of vogue.
"You okay, mate?" Max looked up seeing Checo. They were gonna do the opening ceremony at any moment and the world champion did not look like he was in his head. Max quickly swiped off the tab and shrugged. "Nothing, just some drama." The blond waved it off, tucking the phone in his pocket.
The teams were being announced, starting with HAAS all the way up in the constructor ranking. "I never took you for a person to be interested in drama and stuff." Well, Checo was correct: Max wasn't into that kind of thing. He just happened to stalk his ex by accident since he couldn't get the thought of her out of his head.
★ ☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"You lied to me." You huffed, stuffing your hands in your pockets, refusing to take a step further. "I didn't lie to you, technically. I just didn't tell you." Your friend shrugged, hooking her arm with yours and forcefully pulling you along while you tried to resist. "I don't want to be here, you tricked me." "I did."
It was certainly a sight. Lady gaga dragging Y/N L/N at the paddock of the Las Vegas GP. "The cars dont bite, N/N." "Yeah! That's because I'll be the one biting you!" The woman quickly let go of you at the threat. You went to walk out only to find people looking at you with exited and confused eyes. The exit was now too far.
With a dissatisfied sigh, you held out your hand and Lady Gaga took it, continuing to pull you along. "Today's just the race. So we'll watch. We'll wave the flag and then we'll leave." "I'm not waving the flag." "I'll do it."
You folded your arms, watching from the bottom of the grid on the side as the drivers arrived on the grid. The cars were lined up with car #16 and #1 on the top row, thankfully far away from you. Thankfully, the Mercedes were also far enough as well. You definitely wouldn't stand out in some non-flashy hoodie and shorts. You would've dressed better if you knew you were going to end up being forced into this.
People didn't really notice you at all, more concentrated on the drivers and celebrities. But they soon did notice you, a celebrity being pointed at by a driver. 'No way' Danny ric mouthed, face bright with surprise, a wide smile and arched eyebrows. He waved you over, and waved even harder when you shook your head in decline. You didn't want to appear rude. So you stood to his side, side hugging him as he rambled on about how much you missed. And you listened. You couldn't hate danny. he was like a big brother since f1 was practically your life.
"You should've told me you were coming, ya know." "I didn't even know I was coming." You chuckled, looking around.
FUCK! you looked away quickly, cutting the eye contact with Max short. Bad idea. Very bad idea. You thought, heart hammering in your chest.
"He still loves you." "Huh?" You looked up at Daniel confused. "Max." "no no." you shook your head. "He does." "he doesn't." "He was searching you up." You paused. "I saw it, your name on google." "That's called stalking—" "But he still thinks of you." "good point . . ." "You should think about it, considering how things ended. I think you should at least be on the same page." ". . . thank you danny."
★ ☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"Oh shit." You looked at gaga confused. "Hold this for a second, something's in my eye." She handed you the chequered flag, more like shoved it into your chest while she went to fix her eyelash.
"A little faster." Your hurried, hearing the cars come around turn 17. But gaga took a step back continuing to try and fix her issue. With a huff, you stepped forward, leaning your body on the railing, waving the flag just in time for Max who crossed first.
When all the cars finished the last lap you finally took a step back, flexing your wrist tiredly from doing all these Xs. You turned to see Gaga smiling at you, her eyelashes long forgotten because there wasn't an issue all along.
"You suck." You grumbled, and she laughed taking the flag from you. And just like that, finally you were able to get out of there. The crowds were too busy watching the podium ceremony to see you exit and leave through the parking lot.
You plopped in your car, turning on the engine. You couldn't bring yourself to drive out though. The excuse would be that the engine was still not warm enough. But really, you didn't want to leave behind those blue eyes again. they deserve an explanation for what they read that night two and a half years ago. But it's not like max would know you're waiting for him, or find you if that's the case. How would he know you're waiting for him in your car?
Well however he knew, he knew. The passenger door was opened and the Dutch man sat in the seat next you. You didn't even realize he had been looking for you throughout the whole parking lot, hoping to see you again. You've been looking down at your hands for goodness knows how long. You only looked up one you heard him cup his hands together and blow into them.
You cleared your throat, turning the seat warmer on for him. He must've gotten used to the warm Monaco weather for a cold city like this. The two of you sat in silence for a couple minutes. You didn't dare to look back at him, because you knew he was looking at you. And if you looked at him, who knows what would happen next because for sure you're still fucking dying to kiss him.
"Max, I'm sorry." / "Y/N, I'm sorry."
The two of you froze, looking at each other. "You go first." Max nodded.
You took in a deep breath, trying to collect your thoughts. "I didn't mean to end things that way." and i didn't want it to end, you wanted to add but opted to leave that out. "Torger barged in my room and told me to end it right then and there. I didn't really have a say in anything." You sighed deeply, scratching the back of your neck. A moment of silence dawned in the car until Max spoke again.
"That explains the spelling mistakes." he chuckled lightly, opening his phone and scrolling through until he found your message chat. You could see the 'ts pver' and 'domt tezt or tqlj to me wver afqin' messages at the bottom. an un received message holding the words 'wait what?' 'baby whats going on' you never saw these messages, you'd blocked him by then.
"We should've talked." You admitted. "In person- discussed things. This wasn't fair to you . . . I really am sorry. I should've never let someone take control of me like that. I ended up hurting you."
". . . I always thought you hated me." You sprung up eyes wide as you turned to him. "No no. Never." You shook your head. You weren't even over him. "I don't hate you, I never did, Max. You're too amazing and important to me for that." You didn't even realize the words coming out of your mouth.
The words that led the blond to cup the back of your neck and pull you into a kiss. A kiss he'd been waiting almost 3 years for.

The neglected sully (2)
Tumblr media
The great mother holds all her children dearly, and love them all. She also gives extra love for the ones that are alone, forgotten, and hated for something way out of their control. That is your life and has always been your life, not seen as a sully or member of clan. This is the norm you live and the life style that you learn to adapt to over the years.
y/n “ ......." you had woken up left the home this morning you are still thinking about kawwney offer and words. maybe you will take up his offer and join his clan as you didn't fully belong here. Yes you did have your grandmother and the humans but they will not always be around to keep you safe from harm. Barely your siblings had been helpful at times as they will do their best but stay out of the way at, times in fear of making Jake and neytiri mad.
y/n " great mother will they ever see me for myself or always hate me for something out of my reach and control" you had gone to the spirt tree to sneak out some answers, for the questions and thoughts running through your head.
y/n " I know I'm not supposed to be selfish for this but there are times where I do wish Jake and neytiri treated me, as their daughter and not some bothersome I wish my people and all the others saw me as one of them and child of eywa"
y/n " I having a feeling that will never happen as I will never win them over, no matter what happens I will always be the sully that hated ... I don't know if I should call myself a sully ... what does a child call herself when she can't take on either her parents name" soon a wood spirt had come by you making you smile, as you other soon landed on you. It felt like a warm hug or touch making the great mother was watching over you after all.
????? " y/n" you soon heard your name getting called spooking the wood spirts as they soon floated away from you, as you soon looked around and saw your brothers coming.
y/n " brothers what the matter"
lo'ak " we came looking for you as you had been gone when we started breakfast"
y/n " oh yes I had some matters that need attending"
neteyam " It good we found you all of the teens and kids have been given some time off, and we want you to come as well it will be fun"
y/n " oh sure coming" you had soon followed your siblings back to the village and where you father was standing.
Jake " where have you boys been, I haven't gone over the rules yet"
neteyam " we went to go get y/n dad she our sister and apart of the group right"
Jake " sure whatever"
lo'ak " what are the rules dad"
Jake " just stay together and keep an out on your younger sister, remember to stay out of trouble we don't need the rda finding us right now"
the kids " yes sir"
Jake " y/n I'm allow you to go out of the goodness of my heart but stay out of trouble I don't need your siblings or anyones else bring dragged into your mess or getting hurt"
y/n " yes dad..."
Jake " what was that"
y/n " I mean yes sir"
Jake " good and one wrong move young lady you will be facing punishment for whatever happens, and all it will be on you and no one else will be taking the blame right neteyam"
neteyam " yes sir"
Jake " good now go have a good day my sons"
neteyam " dad what about ..."
y/n " come on we don't want to keep everyone waiting we leave us a group and come back as a group" neteyam and lo'ak nodded their heads and soon walked with you towards the waiting group.
tuk " y/n you are coming with us"
y/n " yes I'm it will be fun day"
navi teen boy " why is she here anyways she no one of us"
navi teen girl " I dont know why she was allowed to come she barely does anything, while we do all the work"
navi teen boy 2 " she such a freak my dad said oloeythan will send her away soon and we will be all good without her"
spider " shut up all of you"
y/n " spider save it the fight not worth it come on lets go we can have our own opinions about today" your siblings and spider had nodded their heads and soon, the group of teens and kids had head off together to spend the day having fun.
sometime later
y/n " ......."
kiri " what the matter"
y/n " Jake and Neytiri yesterday and Jake today I don't think they will ever love me"
kiri " they love you sister they just having a hard time .... I don't know"
y/n " you don't need to make excuses for them kiri we all know I will never be the daughter or child they and the clan want"
tuk " well we love you and want you"
y/n " thank you sister"
spider " if you most know and you might know already norm and the other adults human are not very happy with Jake right now, for his treatment of you"
y/n " well it good to know they are always there for me"
lo'ak " we can spend later talking about mom and dad we shouldn't allow them to always be like this towards you, and we will make sure it stops now come on lets have some fun"
neteyam " yes let go and today you will be us sister as we can be a family" you had nodded your head as you soon spent the day with your sibling having a good time.
y/n " ......." you had taken a break from all the fun and decide to rest for a while and keep watch out for any dangers, the group was taking turns of keeping watching in pairs or groups.
neteyam " you know you don't have to keep watch let me do it"
y/n " no I can do it have some fun you have been spending alot of time working and training to take over Jake rile"
neteyam " okay but I will be back to switch places with you"
y/n " okay" you were not the only one watching over the group, you had been making sure everyone is okay and that no trouble was coming, but that times it hard to stop danger from coming. In many different ways sometimes it out of anyone control. The day everyone was playing on the grass or water. There was a tree everyone had saw and started climbing having a good time.
y/n " huh" you soon heard something that got your attention as the ground started to shake and the sound of something was in the air, it didn't take you that long to know what was coming.
y/n " everyone hide now" the group was looking at you trying to understand what was happening.
neteyam " sister what happening well us"
y/n " They are here we need to get everyone from away from here now"
lo'ak " who is here tell us"
navi teen boy " she mad we all know it she can't tell anything"
kiri " umm everyone she right looks" some trees had been seem to shake and loud metal sounds had been heard.
y/n " get the little ones now listen to what I have to say" it was to late rda Mac suits had been seen along with flying aircraft as well.
neteyam " eveyrıne run into the forest now run" everyone soon took off those with little siblings grabbed them fast, taking off into the forest.
rda " we found the navi kids"
rda 2 " get them we can't let them get away"
y/n " tuk stay with kiri and spider everyone run and don't look back and whatever happens keep on running" everyone had soon taken off running some of the teens firing back arrows or tossing rocks.
neteyam " we have to keep running we will lose them soon"
lo'ak " they are not giving up the chase"
spider" somehow they found this location that was unknown to them"
y/n " we can deal with that later we need to get everyone home and warn the grown ups, we can't stop here"
spider " so what do we do"
y/n " run" the group had nodded soon finding the hiding group of teens and kids, and soon take off together. You had fired an arrow making a tree fall a bit blocking the suits from follow you the group. The group was running as everyone was thinking they are safe but soon a blast and went off sending everyone fall to the ground hard.
neteyam " ahh"
y/n " brother are you okay"
neteyam " fine as I will ever be" everyone seem to get hurt from the blast but as aircraft was about to hit them once again, soon the calls of warriors and ikran had been heard the group had been saved by the clan warriors. It seems like the blast had taken a tool out of everyone as everyone had fallen to the group in pain or knocked out, so did you as everyone had become blurry and you could no longer here anything.
hours later
y/n " ummm" you had finally woke up to a horrible headache and so much pain.
mo'at " you are finally awake thank you great mother" mo'at had held you as you looked around and saw some healer, as they looked at you.
y/n " grandmother where is everyone else are they okay please tell me no on was killed please"
mo'at " no everyone it fine my dear everyone it hurt but no has went to see the great mother today" you had looked at your grandmother feeling some peace, but that peace was soon ended when Jake came into the hut.
y/n " can I see my siblings and spider they are not here can I"
Jake " you"
y/n " dad"
Jake " this all your fault" Jake had grabbed your arm and started dragging you out of the healer hut.
mo'at " Jake let her go she needs to heal"
Jake " no she needs to answers to what she had done"
y/n " what I have done"
Jake " yes look what you have brought upon the clan" you had seen the youth of the clan were in the homes, but they were all badly injured and not moving that much.
mo'at " Jake you need to clam down we don't need the clan in uproar"
Jake " they need to be mad as she caused this all"
y/n " no sir the rda found us it was all bad luck no one could tell"
Jake "silent we all know you were supposed to be on watch and you had failed getting everyone hurt"
Neytiri " demon child you have had to out for you siblings and everyone as they are love and cared for then you"
y/n " no that all lies"
neytiri " now look what you have done you brother neteyam might leave to see the great mother, lo'ak is hurt badly and hasn't woken up ... your sisters are hurt as well all because of you"
y/n " no it not what you think"
Jake " we have all asked them and it leads back to you everyone said you are the reason the air craft followed as it followed you, and you might be the reason you all were found"
y/n " no I helped everyone escape and fight back I will never endanger my family or clan lives"
navi women " she to blame our kids might not live normal lives she to blame"
navi man " yes the demon girl has betrayed us are we sure she hasn't been working with the rda"
y/n " dad"
Jake " enough I said you wrong move from you will lead to punishment and now look what you have done, it will be better if you were the only one hurt but now look where you have done hurting the clan youth and now we might have to move ... you are selfish"
y/n " ......."
navi adult " she evil look what she has done to my kids our clan children" the crowd was upset and yelling they wish for something to happen.
Jake " you are here by exiled and banished from the clan y/n"
mo'at " Jake she your daughter"
Jake " I don't care she was never my daughter and will never be my daughter after today she is dead to me and my family"
y/n " what"
Jake " leave this clan and never come back neytiri had done you favor back packed you stuff" neytiri had dropped a bag of your belong near you feet she couldn't look you in the eye.
y/n " listen to me please I didn't do anything wait for everyone to heal and give ma trail please"
Jake " no this is your trail you are nit allowed you and are seem enemy to the people and don't go to the other clan near by, as they know you are not wanted her and they wish nothing to do from you as well" tears were rushing down you face from heartbreak and pain Jake soon brought you toward outskirts of the village and pushed you away.
Jake " if anyone see you they have rights to chase you away from the lands you are not one of us"
neytiri " you will never be one of us leave now we are giving you one last nice gift so leave now and never come back here, we have no third daughter only two... you are worthy of being one of the family or clan"
mo'at " Jake sully don't due this you will live to regret what you have said and done"
Jake " mo'at there is enough thing I regret already but I will not regret this ever, you can stay here to speak with her but after this day I don't have a daughter named y/n I never did and never will" you didn't say anything else as your grabbed your stuff and started walking away, getting cold glares from the adults behind you there was no going back now.
time later
y/n " I'm all fixed up now" you had gotten done bandage up your arms and legs that had been scrapped because of the fall, when you heard something gain your attention.
y/n " who is there"
mo'at " it me my child I came to see you but I didn't come alone" mo'at had soon shown herself along with norm and max, they both seem upset and disappointed.

y/n " grandmother I'm sorry I should of done better"
mo'at " you did enough you fought and kept everyone alive"
max " we came to see if you need medical help" you had nodded your head mo'at and max attended to your injures.
norm " where are you going to go kid"
y/n " I have a friend that offer me a place to stay if I ever left on my own or had been kicked up ... looks like I was kicked out of my home and clan"
mo'at " I wish you can stay but ..."
y/n " Jake sully words is law now it will not be safe for me anywhere and stay with the humans will be trouble for them, so I will take my leave"
norm " we had bene planing to keep you with us away from the clan"
y/n " thank you but I'm doing this for you safety and it my time"

ronal " what going on here ... dear great mother what has happened to this girl"
kawwney " she needs help she badly hurt r"
ronal " bring her now so I can attend to her" kawwney soon picked you up and carried you off to the healer hut. That night you had been helped as your injuries had gotten worse, during the travel. "The Other Frey Girl" - Robb Stark x Frey!Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: What if Robb did indeed marry the Frey girl?
Word Count: 4,009 Words
TW: p in v sex, nsfw material, afab reader, she/her pronouns, unprotected sex, robb's mean, degradation, lots of stuff that i dont wanna spoil hehe
Tumblr media
“A large wedding.”
“No, I’d prefer a small one.”
“Roses would be lovely-”
“Roses? Are you daft? No, lord husband, we shall have lilies.”
“I’d rather not have a bedding ceremony-”
“Why, my lord? So the witnesses don’t see how badly you perform in the marriage bed?”
Lady Catelyn and Lord Walder watch their progeny argue about every single detail regarding their upcoming wedding. Your lord father, for his part, seems amused at how obstinate you’re being. You’ve always been his favored child and while he may be cold to most, he certainly holds you in high regard.
“My lady,” your betrothed grits his teeth, “Must you argue with me about every little thing to do with our wedding?”
“Yes,” you retort sharply, “Perhaps if you wanted a meek little woman to say ‘yes, my king’ to every one of your ridiculous suggestions, you should’ve chosen one of my sisters instead of me.”
“Perhaps I still will,” he hisses under his breath.
“Oh, please do, make my bloody day-”
“Don’t tempt me, my lady-”
“Robb,” Lady Catelyn cuts in as her son is preparing himself for yet another tirade against you, “You seem a bit agitated. Perhaps you ought to retire for the night and leave the wedding planning to myself and your betrothed. I’m sure Lord Walder has other places to be as well.”
“Don’t be stupid,” your father grumbles, “This is the most entertaining thing I’ve seen all week!”
Robb scoffs and stands giving you a short bow, “My lady.”
“My lord,” you respond, not bothering to give him so much as a nod.
The scowl marring Robb’s otherwise admittedly handsome face deepens as he turns on his heel and storms down the hall. You give your future good mother a polite smile, which she returns, seemingly holding back a laugh at the antics of you and her eldest child.
She knows full well that neither you nor Robb wanted this match. Robb, for his part, had to say goodbye forever to Talisa, the beautiful Volantene woman who had stolen his heart despite him already being promised in marriage to a Frey daughter of his choosing. She remembers full well the day the daughters of Lord Frey were introduced to her son.
Robb meets each of your sisters with a genteel, polite smile, short conversation, trying to see which of them would be the most agreeable as a bride. While rumors state that the Lord of the Crossing has ugly daughters, Robb finds Lady Roslin Frey to be quite pretty. Everyone you know has always said your beloved sister is lovely and soft-spoken. You’ve always been close to her, being only two years her senior. Robb is quite confident in his choice, knowing that he may not love Roslin but that perhaps he could grow to love her in time. However, Lady Catelyn insists that he meet each of Lord Frey’s daughters. He meets your younger sisters, Arwaya, Derwa, and Waldra, even greeting little Shirei, though she is far too young to be married off.
“I was under the impression that you had six daughters, my lord,” Robb’s uncle, Lord Edmure, speaks up, “Your eldest. Is she not here?”
“She’s out for her morning ride,” your father responds gruffly, “Have you made your decision then?”
Edmure, Brynden, Catelyn, and Robb exchange a curious look, wondering why Lord Walder is rushing Robb’s decision, why he doesn’t want Robb to see you.
“I’ve heard she’s his favored child,” Theon Greyjoy whispers from Robb’s side, “Perhaps he wants to keep the little chit by his side-”
“Good morrow, Father!”
The moment Robb hears your voice, he realizes he’d never heard a more enchanting sound in his entire life. He turns to see you, and in truth, you take his breath away. Your hair is windswept from your morning ride, a thin sheen of sweat covering your face, giving you a natural dewy glow. You shrug off your cloak, revealing yourself to not be wearing a dress but rather a tunic and breeches, borrowed from one of your brothers. You walk past Robb and his companions, completely ignoring the King in the North, to give your father a kiss on the cheek. Robb’s eyes are drawn to the Cupid’s bow of your plush lips as you do so, wondering what it would feel to have those lips on his own. Your father mutters something to you, causing you to look over at Robb and his family with sharp eyes.
“I wasn’t aware I was in the presence of royalty,” you say dryly, offering Robb an almost cat-like smile, “Forgive me for not curtsying. There are so many kings running around these days, it’s quite difficult to keep track.”
Theon lets out a snort of a laugh at your words, earning a sharp glare from the others present. He quickly quiets himself. Robb, in the meanwhile, looks you up and down, almost as though he’s appraising you as he takes a step closer.
“I was not told Lord Frey’s eldest daughter was so beautiful,” he says, taking your hand and kissing it, giving you what he hopes to be a handsome smile.
You arch an eyebrow, “And I was not told the King in the North is hardly old enough to be a king. If two of the kings in this war are little more than boys, I fear for the future of the realm.”
With that, you sashay past him and out of the room, both his and Theon’s eyes following the effortless sway of your hips as you leave.
“Her,” Robb mumbles to his mother, still staring after you, “I want her,” he clears his throat and turns to your father, speaking at full volume again, “I’ve made my decision.”
At first, Robb misses Talisa dearly. He thinks of her constantly. He remembers how her body felt against his, how beautiful she was. How he’s being robbed of his chance at happiness. Then, he dances with you for the first time at a feast, celebrating your betrothal. Your sharp eyes bore into his, as if you know every one of his deepest darkest secrets. You answer every one of his questions by brushing them off or with a witty retort. And you look so very beautiful while doing it.
Later that night, Robb lays awake, thinking of how you looked in his arms. Thinking that, perhaps, there is indeed a mutual attraction between the two of you that could grow into love. Especially so when he hears you crying out his name from your chambers that are beside his, quite obviously in the midst of pleasuring yourself.
That night, for the first time when he pleasures himself, it is your face he imagines instead of Talisa’s. Your body beneath his.
The next day, he approaches you to say he hopes that the two of you could get to know each other a bit more before the wedding, and is met with an indignant scowl and a slap across the face, followed by Theon’s howling laughter.
“She’s a fearsome thing,” Theon comments, “Are you sure you can handle a woman like that?”
Robb gives his friend a dirty glare and storms back off to his chambers.
Robb desires and despises you. He despises how you fight him on everything. He despises the way you treat him with utter indifference and disdain. He despises the way you look at him as though he means nothing to you. He despises that little smirk you give after you’ve won one of your countless arguments with him. He despises the fact that he’s being forced to marry at all, but more than any of that? He despises that he seems to have no effect on you whatsoever. He’s, objectively speaking, a handsome man. On top of that, he’s a king for fuck’s sake. You should, by all accounts, be swooning over him. After all, your sister seemed quite taken by him, what’s your problem? Clearly you desire him, why else would you have been calling his name?!
While you seem to think of him very little, his mind is consumed by thoughts of you. Of shutting you up by crashing his lips on yours when you’re busy fighting with him, of finally being able to have you in his bed, of whether after a long night together you’d look as breathless and beautiful as you did that first day he met you, after your morning ride.
Then, on the eve of your wedding, everything changes between the two of you. It’s dinnertime, and as usual, you’re seated beside him. Robb hates to admit it, but you look absolutely stunning. Your hair is pulled back, revealing your face to him in all its glory, the face that haunts his dreams and all of his waking thoughts. The face he has come to both love and hate. As dinner goes on, one by one, each of the older adults go off to bed, until it’s just you, Robb, and Theon. You continue to ignore and all of Robb’s attempts at conversation.
“Would you like some wine, my lady?”
No response.
“Do you wish to take the air outside?” Robb tries.
No response. Again. Rather, you turn to Theon and begin asking him about the Iron Islands. And that? That’s the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Robb nearly growls, grabbing your hand and dragging you out of the dining hall, into the long deserted corridor leading to your chambers, “What game do you think you’re playing?”
“Game? I’m not playing any game,” you retort, “You know, I should be asking you the same question, my lord. What in the seven hells do you think you’re doing, dragging me out of the dining hall like some sort of brute? Men like you are the reason that Northerners have such an awful reputation-”
“Must you always be so difficult?” Robb snaps, “I hate that smart mouth of yours!”
“I’ve seen you staring at my smart mouth,” you snark, “Doesn’t look like you hate it very much when you seem like you’re always on the precipice of trying to kiss me!”
“Kiss you?!” your words hit a bit too close to home, but Robb is not about to admit that to you, “In what world would I want to kiss the most difficult woman in all the seven kingdoms?! You think too highly of yourself, my lady!”
“And you don’t? You don’t think I’m being forced into this marriage too? That I didn’t have hopes and dreams of my own?” you snap at him, glaring, “You chose me and I’ll spend the rest of my life making you regret that choice!”
“Is that a threat, my queen?” Robb’s voice is a low rumble as he advances on you, taking one step closer as you take one back, the two of you continuing in this dance of sorts until your back hits the stone wall.
You stare up at him, meeting his eyes with a fiery glare, your chin pointed out in defiance, “Oh, no, my lord, it’s a fucking promise!”
“The first of many then,” he sneers, his hand moving to grip your hair and pull you in close to him, “You are fucking infuriating.”
“Oh, thank you, I do my best,” you hiss, still glaring up at him, “I appreciate your acknowledgement of my valiant efforts, husband.”
“Yes, I am your husband starting tomorrow,” his words serve as a taunt of sorts, “You’re to be bound to me forever. You’re going to be my queen. Any other woman would kill to be in your position, do you realize that?”
“Then perhaps you should’ve chosen one of those other women, because the only thing I’d kill for is to be as far away from you as humanly possible!”
Robb’s jaw clenches and you can’t help but find the sight of it extremely attractive. His eyes are hooded with anger and, perhaps, a hint of something else. You’re both breathing heavily, your faces less than an inch from each other’s, your noses almost touching. Your gaze flickers to his lips for a moment before moving back up to his beautiful blue eyes, which are nearly black from his pupils being blown so wide.
And Robb notices your gaze, “Oh, and you say I’m the one always on the precipice of wanting to kiss you,” he gives you a devilish grin, “If I’m not mistaken, love, it’s you whose eyes are wandering to my lips right now.”
“Only to seek a way to shut them.”
“I’ll gladly provide you with one.”
And with those words, Robb’s lips come crashing down on yours. While this is far from being your first kiss, it is certainly the most intense. One of his hands remains firmly in your hair while the other grips your hip like a vice, pulling you into him, your chest pressed firmly against his. Robb revels in your every breath, your chest heaving, only the thin fabric of your dress and his shirt between the two of you. His hand moves to the flesh of your ass, squeezing harshly, making you let out a sharp gasp, allowing him to snake his tongue inside your mouth. Not wanting to let him win so easily, your tongue fights his for dominance. And when he refuses to relent? You bite down on his lip, shocking him. He pulls back, shocked.
“You bit me!”
“Aren’t you supposed to be a wolf? Is a little nip that frightening to you?”
Without another word, Robb grabs you around the waist and tosses you over his shoulder, earning an indignant shriek from you, “What the fuck do you think you’re doing? Are you quite mad?!”
“If I am, it’s your fault!”
He kicks open the door to your chambers, unceremoniously dropping you on your bed.
You glare up at him, crossing your arms in anger, turning your face away from his, feeling your anger rising even more. Robb? He just lets out a laugh.
“Aw, are you upset with me, love? Did I hurt your feelings?” Robb moves over and grips your jaw with his strong hand, forcing you to look at him, “Hm? You know what I think? I think,” he leans in and whispers against your ear, “You want me. You hate the fact that you do. You hate the fact that the idea of between your legs makes your tight little cunt wet. I’ve heard those little noises you make when you touch yourself at night. The wall between our rooms isn’t that thick, love. I know you use your pretty little fingers and imagine that it’s my cock filling you up.”
Your eyes widen at the absolute filth coming out of his mouth, “You- how dare you spy on me in my own home-”
“Spy on you?! You were moaning my name like a bitch in heat,” Robb laughs, “And you know what? Ever since the first night I heard that, I’ve fucked my hand with my cock every night, imagining I was burying myself inside your cunt.”
You swallow thickly at his words, knowing full well you’ve been caught. Robb’s thumb strokes your lower lip.
“Open your mouth.”
His voice is so low you could almost mistake it for a wolf’s growl. You’re curious as to what he’s going to do, so you do as he says and open your mouth.
And he spits in it. His spit coats your tongue, shocking you as he speaks again, “Swallow it.”
You don’t know why but that sends a rush of heat through you, the sound of his voice, the dominance behind it. You again do as he says and swallow.
“Thank me for spitting in your mouth.”
The words refuse to leave your lips. Robb shakes his head, grabbing you by the back of the neck and pulling you toward him, repeating his words, his voice low and venomous.
“Thank you for spitting in my mouth.”
Your voice sounds foreign to your ears. You sound wanton, like you want him, like you want him to treat you like this.
Robb nods to himself, “That’s better. Now, take your fucking dress off.”
“And why should I?” you sass, feeling a bit annoyed, both with him and yourself.
Nevertheless, your hands move to fiddle with the intricate laces of the bodice of your dress. Robb’s breathing grows heavy with anticipation as he watches you, a wolf laying in wait for his prey. When you finally manage to undo them, you nearly stumble in your hurry to step out of the restricting garment.
Robb shakes his head, his hand moving around your throat, “Nice and slow for me, love.”
You let the fabric of your dress and shift slide down your body slowly, as he asks, “You’re a lazy git, you very easily could’ve helped me out of it-”
Robb’s hand squeezes your throat slightly, causing you to let out a strangled moan, “Hm. Yes, but I didn’t want to,” you roll your eyes at his words, to which he leans in, brushing his lips against yours, only barely, “Lay back on the bed. I want you to show me how you fuck yourself like a desperate little whore, pretending it’s me pleasuring you.”
The thought of him watching you touch yourself excites you, but you end up questioning, “Why don’t you just fuck me already then?”
“You have to earn that, love, now, put on a show for me.”
You grumble under your breath and move your hand down your chest between your legs, stroking your core with light, teasing touches. Your knees are pressed together, blocking Robb’s view, which he doesn’t hesitate to point out.
“Legs spread.”
You tentatively do as he says, at this point throwing caution to the wind as you work one finger into your cunt, letting out a low whine. Robb’s eyes are dark and hooded as he watches you, feeling himself get hard at the sight of your finger disappearing inside your tight hole. He doesn’t remove his gaze from you once, instead, moving even closer, holding your knees apart with his hands, ensuring he has a perfect view of you.
“Add one more finger, love. Come on.”
You decide to ignore his demand, instead, adding two fingers, allowing your palm to rub against your clit as you work them inside you, trying to hit that spot that brings you to your peak. Robb growls and pulls your hand away from you, earning a sound of protest from you. He shakes his head.
“I said one finger. You added two. If you want to act like a bitch in heat, then I’ll fuck you like one,” he chuckles darkly, “Get on all fours. Now.”
You let out an annoyed huff and do what he says, “Well, let’s see if you even manage to make me reach my peak, you miserable-”
You’re cut off as he runs the head of his cock over your entrance. You let out a soft gasp at the feeling. Your fingers are one thing, but this is something entirely different. He pushes into you slowly, making you let out a pitiful whine at the feeling. It hurts at first, and so Robb stays still after sheathing himself inside of you. After a few minutes, the sharp pain turns to an uncomfortable sting. Then, as he adjusts himself slightly, you let out a gasp at the feeling that overtakes you. When he moves, it feels incredible.
Robb smirks to himself, one of his hands moving to cup your breast, squeezing, rolling your pert nipple between his thumb and forefinger, “Sounds like you’re ready for me, hm?”
“Please,” you manage to eke out, “Fucking move, do something!”
He laughs, “Oh, I will, sweetheart.”
And then, with one hand still on your breast, his other moves to grip your hip, holding you against him as he begins fucking you, bent over you and pounding into your sensitive cunt like an animal. Every one of your whimpers of his name, your sweet little mewls, fuels him, and he adores the sound of his cock sliding into your wet and waiting cunt, his skin slapping against yours.
“So fucking tight,” he groans, his hips pulling back and slamming into yours, “Your cunt is gripping me like a vice for someone who claims to hate me so much.”
“Shut up,” you manage to eke out as he continues, pulling all the way out of you before slamming back in, making you let out a loud cry of his name, “Fuck, Robb!”
His voice is almost feral as he murmurs your name in your ear, moving his hand that cups your breast up to your throat. He wraps his hand around your neck, squeezing slightly, the feeling making everything all the more vivid for you, every thrust in tandem with him squeezing your neck.
“Are you going to come for me, like a good wife?” he taunts you, “That’s what you’ll be, starting tomorrow. And every night, I’ll fuck that bratty attitude out of you just like this. I’ll fill you with my seed every night, over and over. You want that, don’t you, love?”
“Yes,” you admit, bringing your hand to his that rests on your hip, pulling it toward your clit, begging for him to do something.
Robb seems to understand and begins rubbing at it with his forefinger, his thrusts increasing in both speed and intensity. You feel the familiar coil in your stomach start to wind, each snap of his hips feeling like too much and not enough at the same time. Then, he pushes in deeper than before, hitting the spongy spot inside you that drives you insane when you manage to reach it. You let out a loud squeal of his name.
“Yes, Robb, right there!”
He squeezes your throat again, his mouth coming down to kiss your shoulder before biting down on it gently, “Are you close? You going to come for me, my queen?”
“So close,” you nearly sob, pleading for relief, “Fuck, harder, Robb, can’t you do anything right?!”
He lets out a dark laugh and slaps at your clit, making you let out a shriek as he continues thrusting. He moves his hand from your clit, pulling you up by the hair closer to him, biting down harshly on your neck, still thrusting, driving you closer and closer to the edge until, with one last thrust, you feel almost as though your soul leaves your body. As though you’ve ascended to the Seven Heavens themselves with how euphoric you feel, how every part of you feels as though it’s on fire in the most incredible way.
Robb’s thrust slow and, with a few more, you feel him spill his seed inside of you. He remains still for a moment, both of you basking in the aftermath of what you’ve just done. He lays back on your bed, the two of you on your backs, completely bare to each other, side by side.
“Well,” Robb lets out a short laugh, “I don’t think we’ll be able to have that bedding ceremony of yours after all.”
“What do you mean-” the realization of just what he’s implying hits you as you speak, making you gasp and slap him on the chest, “Oh, you’re a scoundrel!”
“Perhaps,” he grins, “But I’m your scoundrel of a husband starting tomorrow.”
“Don’t remind me,” you groan, nudging him playfully, “Let me enjoy these last few hours of freedom before I’m saddled with you forever.”
Robb bursts into laughter, wrapping you up in his embrace, “Very well, my queen. Then I shall simply say goodnight and hold you.”
He nuzzles his face into your neck, his breathing slowing until you’re quite sure he’s asleep. His hold around you… It’s warm and comfortable, and if you daresay, even loving. You fall asleep in his arms, thinking that if every night is to be spent like this, being married to the King in the North may not be so bad after all.

As promised, my commentary on Hunter.... to the people that like him, im sorry.
Spoiler warnings and the like, this is pretty negative aside from like maybe three sentences?? Feel free to leave you're own opinions on this too ofc !!! >:)
I dont like Hunter.
Actually, that's not entirely true, I liked him in TCW season 7, when he was that silly man who fucked droids around the place, took no shit, and loved his brothers. I like the Hunter who, not putting this nicely, had a personality.
This is not a dig on him as a character, it's a dig on how he was handled, writing wise
Listen, I totally get that the "rugged-man-adopts-a-star-child" trope is popular, and I do LOVE that trope, really I do- I just don't really think it was done that well here? It's bothered me since s1 of the Bad Batch, and I don't think it's going to get any better this season....
My only real problem with the writing inconsistency of Hunter being an older brother of three to "Omega this, Omega that" and while I agree childcare is SUPER difficult at the best of times, Hunter had four brothers who were equally capable of taking care of Omega, too. It just never sat right with me that taking care of her became his ENTIRE personality
Hes a soldier, who despite being completely out of his element, had a routine he strictly followed for the whole war. Yet he seemed to completely forget about that ?? Stressed or not stressed, that worn in routines and LIFELONG LESSONS should not have left his head as quickly as they seemed to.
The most obvious and frustrating example of the oversimplification of Hunter's character is with Crosshair. I cannot even BEGIN to describe my anger when it comes to Hunter and Crosshair. It mainly stems from the way he just FORGETS his brother is with the Empire. Conveniently never bringing it up unless someone else did it first.
As the oldest sibling and squad leader, I personally think Hunter should have been the one to bring him up. It should not have had to be specifically mentioned by another character for Hunter to discuss it. He loves his brothers, he loved Crosshair, broody or not, he should have brought it up AT LEAST once, imo.
We also see this complete disregard for Crosshair AGAIN in s3, now that we have seen Hunter looking for Omega and not ONCE mentioning Crosshair. Has he forgotten that they were originally going to find Crosshair??? That they never actually FOUND their brother ??????? Annoyed me so much, tbh.
What else annoyed me was the singular language he used during the whole episode. "She's part of our squad." "Hemlock took SOMEONE from us." He's completely and utterly disregarding the OTHER TWO SIBLINGS that the Empire took away from him !!!!! It genuinely frustrates me so much.
I know I'm DEFINITELY nit-picking here, but even when Hunter looked to Tech's goggles, it was in a "He should've been here to do this." Way, not a "He should be here." Way. That's his brother, who died looking for another that Hunter has forgotten.
Hunter's tunnel vision is probably one my least favourite things about the Bad Batch, if I dare even MENTION that- and I love this show. It means so much to me, but I just can't handle this particular part of it...
I have so SO much anger directed towards the treatment of Hunter by the writers. I want the Hunter who was devoted to his WHOLE family, who fought for ALL of them, who would have NEVER allowed Crosshair to leave in the first place. Give me that Hunter back.
(Saying this- I do not mind Hunter and Omega's father/daughter and brother/sister relationship !!! I do really enjoy it- in small amounts. The fact that Hunter became nearly an extention of Omega really just- threw me off his whole character, really)
I specifically pick to ignore this when I'm making anything. Hunter has been a sergeant of three idiots(named endearingly) for the entirety of the war. One child who wanders around should not have taken up 100% of Hunter's attention, ESPECIALLY when he was surrounded and supported. It just bothers me, idk
Anyway, thats my rant !!! Back to some positives soon, promise !! I just had to get this off my chest, it's been BOTHERING me.

hi, covey can you pls write a platonic nico x daughter of persephone where the daughter of persephone makes nico, hades, and persephone go see hadestown on broadway with her (also if u haven’t heard hadestown highly recommend amazing musical)
wait for me? / i will; platonic! nico di angelo x daughter of persephone! reader blurb
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
content: platonic! nico di angelo x daughter of persephone! reader blurb (ft. mom and dad - er, persephone and hades) warning: language but we keep it silly up in this bitch author's note: i dunno if i can even call this a blurb anymore- holy shit its so fucking long but i dont wanna call if a fic bc that feels like favoritism lmao also i haven't listened to the whole play bc i haven't been a theatre kid in many many years and im trying to leave that behind me as i go to college but i do remember absolutely loving the concept and a few of the songs!!
"everyone say 'hi' to the vlog!!" you cheered as you walked in front of you family, spinning the camera around to get you all in view. upon your parents request (demand), you all were dressed in your sunday best. suits, or the closest to a suit nico was willing to put on, midi-length dresses for the girls. all designer, as hades wouldn't be caught dead not in designer. zeus would mock him for eons. nico threw up a middle finger that persephone was slapping away, before turning the camera with a sugary sweet smile.
"hi vlog!" she cheered, wrinkling her nose, attempting to be suave and hip, but not really getting close as nico and you cringed slightly.
"hello vlog," hades added, which had you and nico wheezing and hades desperately asking his wife what was wrong with what he said.
"youre- youre so cordial," you managed to get through you giggles, pointing the camera at hades, who puffed his chest out with a roll of his eyes.
"that would be because i'm old, my sweet girl," he huffed and you beamed a smile at him, spinning the camera onto yourself as the four of you continued down the streets of new york city.
"he's not that old," you smirked, nico snorting next to you.
"anyways, we're off to see hadestown. mom and dad haven't seen it yet and have no idea what it's about. but will took you last week, right, nico?" you asked, leaning into nico's side so he'd be in view. he nodded his head, darting his eyes away at the mention of his boyfriend.
"yup."
"awww! he's getting all blushy!! im gonna tell will-"
"go to hell, y/n-"
"been there, done that. boring!"
"hey, watch it!" hades cut in, with a glare, which you responded wit ha roll of your eyes.
"stop distracting me, im trying to vlog," you huffed, turning your eyes back to the camera with a wide smile, "obvi i can't film inside, but i will take a pic and tally every time one of us cries and whoever cries the most picks what we have for dinner."
"wait, wait. my blossom, you didn't mention this one was sad?" hades hissed to his wife, who shrugged in uncertainty but patted his forearm comfortingly. you and nico shared a knowing glance, tiny smirks playing on your lips.
"okay, okay," you whispered to your camera, bending over in your seat to hide it from the watchful eyes of security despite the fact that it was intermission, "we've hit intermission and i've only cried, like, twice. nico, the rat bastard, managed to stay strong so far. mom's cried, what, four times?"
"nah, closer to five. remember? right at the beginning?" nico whispered and you nodded in agreement before turning to the camera, laughing as you struggled to get your words out.
"but dad, gods bless his heart, he's probably cried twice for every song-"
"no, no, he cried, like, four times, during 'come home with me'," corrected nico and you discreetly tried to hide your giggles with nico, the two of you leaning into each other before persephone reached over, smacking at their arms.
"knock it off. your father is a very sensitive man and you didn't warn him this play was about us. and so sweetly written too," persephone mused to the pair, sniffing near the end, causing you and nico to point over at her.
"that's another one! you're up to five, mom!" bit back nico, clearly proud of himself as persephone glared at the pair, dabbing at her eyes with a tissue.
"it's not like it matters much, your father will certainly lose- oh, welcome back, my darling, just in time," the queen of the underworld quickly changed her tune, beaming a smile as her husband returned with drinks and snacks.
he glanced at her suspiciously but let it go as he gently presented her with some fruity cocktail he knew she'd like without needing to ask. a blush flushed across her cheeks and hades was clearly proud of himself as he continued to pass out snacks. junior mints and licorice for nico, who took it with one hand while texting will with the other. you bit your lip, trying to zoom in with the camera and see what he was saying but nico caught on quick, shoving the camera away with a huff. then hades set bag of m&m's down in your lap before ripping open his own bag. instantly, you were leaning over to his seat and inspecting his bag, nawing gently at your lip as hades glanced at you out of the corner of his eye.
"yes, princess?" he asked and you shyly smiled at him.
"could i have some?" you asked and hades frowned, looking pointedly down at the ones that rested, untouched, in your lap.
"you have some."
"they're better from your bag," you gushed and hades melted instantly, pretending to grumble as he presented the bag to you, small cheers escaping your lips as you dug your fingers in. and hades smiled despite himself, pressing a kiss to the top of your head before reaching over and ruffling nico's hair just as the play was about to continue.
the vlog abruptly jumped to a shot of your little family standing outside the theatre in visible distress. nico had his head hung back, waving at his face, trying to avoid tears that he knew will would mock him for. persephone and you were actively clinging to each other, fully sobbing in the middle of new york, mutters and gasps about being doomed by the narrative and love somewhere among the sobs. hades was in shock, tears streaming down his face, and his hands clasped in front of his lips. how he managed to get shocked by a play he lived through, he had no idea. you detangled yourself from your mother, who instantly went to her husband, who welcomed her into his arms without a second thought. you picked up your camera, sniffling as you attempted a smile while holding a thumbs up but the happy effect was lost with the black mascara running down your cheeks.

“I steal a few breaths
From the world for a minute
And then I’ll be nothing forever
And all of my memories
And all of the things I have seen
Will be gone
With my eyes with my body with me”
-
“Miguel!” you call out shakily, your daughter, Gabriella, secure on your back. Your husband instinctively sprints toward the two of you, as you desperately try to escape the collapsing of your universe.
“Take Gabi, I-I gotta help Peter B.,” you lift your now sobbing daughter off your back and into Miguels’ arms. Miguel opens his mouth for a split second, before it zips shut again. He gives you a firm nod, his thick brows furrowed, before cradling your daughter to his chest and leaning in to give your temple a kiss. You kiss the top of Gabi’s head swiftly, before using your webs to swing towards Peter B., who is in the middle of moving - no, shoving - civilians toward safety. It breaks your heart when you hear your daughter’s fearful whimpers as Miguel reassures her, telling her everything will be okay.
Not even five minutes later, you spot Miguel running with Gabriella in his arms, people glitching out of existence left and right. You swing towards them, a few metres behind them, before you are stopped by Peter, his hands firm on your shoulders, telling you it’s too dangerous. Peter’s tall figure and Miguel’s even taller and broader figure obscures most of your view, but you choke back a sob as you catch sight of your daughter disintegrating in her fathers arms. Not really her fathers arms, but you didn’t know that yet.
“Dad! Dad, no!” Gabriella cries, before disappearing, leaving Miguel staring where her body was a second ago, breathing heavily. You couldn’t help but rip off your mask and bury your head in your shaking hands, sobbing hysterically.
-
“But me and my husband
We’re doing better
It’s always been just him and me
Together”
-
quick a/n: DONT ASK HOW READER SURVIVED, FEEL FREE TO MAKE UP WHATEVER THEORY YOU SEE FIT :)
“Miguel. We gotta move, you’ll have to bring your er…wife, too.” Peter calls and the world seems to close in. You’re still sobbing into your own hands - mask left forgotten on the ground -, Miguel immobile, still staring blankly into his hands.
“Okay.” Miguel says after a few beats, his voice uneven with grief. Out of the corner of your eye, in front of Miguell, a hexagonal, orange…portal? opens up and he steps signals for Peter to go through. Peter releases your shoulders, though not before giving them a reassuring squeeze, and a nod at Miguel before making his way into the portal. Once it’s just the two of you, Miguel is immediately at your side, drawing you into his chest. He presses a kiss to the top of your head before crouching to wipe your tears away with his thumbs. Your tears have subsided, reduced to sniffles. Miguel smiles sadly at you, murmuring,
“C’mon, cariño. I’m sorry, but we have to go. Now.” you nod at his words, running with him into the portal.
-
“So I bet all I have on that
Furrowed brow
And at least in this lifetime
We’re sticking together
Me and my husband
We’re sticking together”
-
“Mig, what is this? Where are we? What just happened?!” you cry, shaking his wrists. You’re in a dark, strange room filled with all sorts of holographic technology. It looks so futuristic, like it came straight out of one of those robotic or intergalactic movies you would watch with what was your family, until a few minutes ago. Peter B. was in the room as well, staring off into the distance to give you and your husband some privacy. Miguel sighed,
“This is…this is my office?” he frowns, almost…confused?
“My office in the Spider Society Headquarters.” he finishes, leaving you even more confused than you were a few moments ago.
“Miguel. You’re not making any sense. I know you’re Spider-Man, but didn’t-didn’t you work at-?”
“I haven’t been truly honest with you. Let me explain from the beginning.”
“You, you replaced my dead husband?! You were the cause of MY daughter’s death?! The cause of my ‘universe’s collapse? I-I…” you broke off, sobbing again. You felt so much betrayal. So much hurt, anger. And now Miguel - the man you thought was your husband - wants you to join his little gang of Spiders? Hell. No.
“Before you say anything, you can’t really go anywhere else without glitching, or causing its universe to collapse - if you stay there long enough.” Miguel says, looking at his feet.
“He’s not wrong, you know. Glitching is painful as well. Take it from me.” Peter B. cuts in, offering you a tight smile. You painfully realise that Miguel is right, you don’t have anywhere to go. And you suppose it would be nice to still see your husband’s face everyday. You still love him, despite the fact he isn’t really the Miguel you thought you knew.
“Fine. But you’re going to have to tell me more about how you came to be here, Miggy.” you tell Miguel, who goes red at the nickname you use for him. Clearly, he was caught off guard, assuming you would be visibly fuming at him. Peter B. chuckles lowly, murmuring, “Miggy,” under his breath before suppressing a snicker.
You had trained hard to get to where you are now, mentally and physically. The death of your only daughter took a heavy toll on you, but a few months later, you can confidently say you were okay. It turns out that while Miguel was in your dimension, his AI assistant, Lyla, had been keeping a hand on the wheel, extending invitations to Spider-People that Miguel had deemed qualified enough to the Spider Society. The missions you went on were usually pretty uneventful, due to the fact that the anomalies or whatever you were chasing were almost always outnumbered, and usually outpowered by the legion of Spider-People hunting them down. Though there were always missions where you and/or a few others came back heavily injured. On your most recent mission, you came back with a sprained ankle, and many cuts and bruises on your body. Miguel was not impressed; patching you up while huffing and puffing about you needing to be more careful. It seems that you got special treatment, understandable, right? You are his wife after all…
You take a large bite into a Spider-Man 2099 themed burger with a grin, internally laughing at the fact that Miguel hadn’t noticed them yet. Peter B. sits opposite you, Pavitr to your left, and Hobie sitting across from him.
“I think it’s kinda funny that Miguel hasn’t caught onto these burgers yet,” you say with a small laugh, setting the burger down. Pav is already cackling at the thought, while Hobie sits there with his signature smirk plastered on his face while Peter chuckles slightly.
“Yeah it’s a miracle, he’s usually so observant. Ooor…he does know, and likes them,” he says, a large grin on his face by the end of his sentence. You silently agree with him, as you listen to the animated conversation that Pavitr had started up with Hobie, Peter making a few contributions occasionally.
Lyla simultaneously displays from the gizmos on your wrists, telling you all,
“Miguel wants you all to see him, for a mission.” finishing with a playful wink.
“Okaay! Another mission, let’s go!” Pavitr says, bubbly as always. You couldn’t help but smile as you get up and follow the rest of the group, while Pavi giggles about something along the lines of “being Spider-Man is so easy and soo fun!”.
While walking through the tech-junk filled sort of hallway in Miguel’s office, you spot Hobie shamelessly pocketing a few loose pieces. You playfully punch him on the shoulder, quietly scolding him for his antics. He smirks and remarks,
“The bossman won’t notice, got bigger things to worry ‘bout, yeah?”. You laugh and shake his head at his words, as you approach the high-up platform, waiting for it to painfully descend. After a few moments you’re able to make out Miguel’s form, facing the four of you, his hands on his waist; his signature stance. Peter giggles out of the corner of his mouth, muttering,
“Always so dramatic.”. You silently agree with him, as Miguel walks towards you guys, chin slightly up, eyes peering down at your faces.
“We have another Doc Ock variant, an anomaly from Earth 1829 in Earth 5820. I will be coming with you lot for this mission.” Miguel finishes, glaring slightly at you by the end of it. You will yourself not to roll your eyes, knowing that all he’s coming along to practically babysit you. You settle for a glare back at him, before his eyes flicker to Hobie, pointing at him and telling him not to do anything stupid. Hobie puts his hands up in mock surrender,
“Got it, ‘m not going anywhere.” he says, unable to stop his smirk from turning into a grin.
“Dios mÍo…I don’t know why I still tolerate you.” Miguel huffs out, pinching the bridge of his nose before turning away from him and going back toward his desk. He types something up on his keyboard, and the illuminated monitor displays an image of an octopus? What on Earth is-
“Looks like Doc Oc found away to become one with the octopus,” Peter snickers; Pavitr giggling with him.
“Correct, Peter. That is what we’ll be after. We must hurry before it wreaks havoc in New York.”Miguel states, while opening a portal to New York City, Earth 5820. You walk through in a single file line, coming out on the top of a building. The air smells smoky, smokier than that of your universe of origin. The ground shook, clearly, the Doc Ock variant had caused a substantial amount of damage already.
“It’s coming from Times Square, let’s go!” Miguel bellowed, swinging toward the cause of the earthquake, everyone following suit. As you get closer, you take in the sight of a ginormous blue-green octopus with metallic pincers on the end of them snapping menacingly at the fleeing crowd of people.
“Woah…” you breathe, eyes widening when you realise that it’s more like a half-octopus, the tentacles being the bottom part of a woman.
“She looks like Ursula from The Little Mermaid, don’t you think?” you call out to the group, Peter and Pavitr agreeing with you.
“Enough with the jokes, let’s-” Miguel starts, before the Doc Ock swivels around to face your group, swinging toward her.
“-Okay, new plan. Let’s split up; Peter, Pavitr, Hobie - you three stick together and distract the anomaly!” The men nod and advance forward to do as instructed while you and Miguel swing towards the nearest apartment rooftop to hopefully discuss further gameplan. When Miguel doesn’t say anything, your lenses narrow as you glower at him, not over the fact that you were practically being babysat by your husband; Miguel takes note of this.
“I- okay, before you say anything, I’m mainly here because I don’t trust that punk Hobie.” He assures you, putting emphasis on the last part, “I also want to make sure you-everyone has someone they can fall back on, and protect them if…things get rough.”. Fortunately for Miguel, this was good enough for you, giving him a curt nod.
“Got it. Soo, how are we gonna contain the anomaly?” you question. Miguel was quick to answer,
“While the others distract Doc Ock, we’re going to use my webs to bind it, and entrap it in a Trap Box and get it back to HQ. Got it?”. You nod and use your webs to catapult yourself in Doc Ock’s direction. Miguel’s plan goes smoothly, the anomaly tightly bound by Miguel’s red, digital webs. Peter and Pavitr were aiding civilians trying to get away, trying to bring some order to the chaos. You and Hobie were in the process of disarming Doc Ock of her pincers, using a mixture of webbing, tugging, and other devices - courtesy of Margo.
“Bloody pincers take forever to take off…” Hobie muttered irritably. He called your name saying, “You mind finding somethin' to to 'elp us?”, you nod, jumping off the rubble you were standing on to look for anything big, sharp, or dangerous to aid you. That’s when you spot Miguel, with those talon-like appendages that stick out of the arms of his suit.
“Miguel! We can’t get the damn pincers off quick enough, could ya’ help?!” you call out. Miguel shoots you a look, and you know that through his mask, he’s already annoyed.
“I’m kinda busy, sweetheart! Can’t you shocking see that?!” he shouts at you, before sighing heavily and using one of the hands tugging the glowing web taut to shoot another out toward a stray tentacle, swiftly yanking off the pincer. You aim your web shooters toward another pincer and let them fly, sticking onto the metal.
After a good while of tugging and frustration, you finally get another pincer off, but you and Hobie realise that it’s no use, rushing over to Miguel’s side,
“Wh-What are you guys doing?! Get rid of the pincers!” Miguel yells, agitation coating his words. Hobie explains it’s no use, and that you guys should be helping him contain the anomaly in other ways. Miguel grunts in response, before instructing the two of you to use your webs to bind the anomaly while Miguel sets up a Trap Box. Once you’ve got your webs wound around the entire figure of Doc Ock, Miguel releases his webs and starts setting up the digital containment chamber. Miguel was almost done, but then you heard a scream, the scream of a small child. You whip your head toward the sound and see a small child amongst the few 100 other people who haven’t made their way out yet - stuck under a piece of rubble. Hobie notices and murmurs,
“Nah, don’t, love. Get Pav or Peter to do it. We gotta deal with this…”. You don’t know what happened - one second you were doing what was instructed of you, and the next you had let your webs fall slack as you dash for the crying child. You reach the child and help him get free of the rubble, and scooping him into your arms, as Hobie yells a stream of slurs as the anomaly starts to wriggle free. Hobie calls for you to help him, unable to hold Doc Ock down. You just stand there, cradling the crying child to your chest. Behind you, Miguel stands fuming, even though he and Hobie had managed to contain the anomaly, who is now banging its tentacle at the digital walls.
“Mujer estúpida,” Miguel mumbles, as he calls for everyone to gather round. You reluctantly set the child down, and slowly turn toward Miguel. The realisation of what you had done risked the fate of the multiverse. When you finally turn around, you’re greeted with a seething 6’9 man. You can practically see the steam coming from his ears. (Translation: stupid woman)
Once you’re in his office - your masks off -, Pavitr, Hobie, and Peter dismissed, Miguel is borderline screaming at you for your reckless act to save the child, who,
“-would have been fine even if you didn’t save him!” and that, “no matter how pure your intentions are, your main priority is to SAVE. THE. MULTIVERSE. Regardless of what you have to do.”. After the twenty minutes your boss spent berating you for your actions - and what their consequences may be - you’re left standing meekly in front of him, head hung low, staring at your feet. Miguel exhales a long sigh,
“Look,” he says, his tone much softer than the one he used a few moments earlier, “I think I know why you saved that damn kid. I…I understand that, querida, I do. But that is not always the best thing to do. Not when there is so much more at stake,”. You nod, understanding his words.
“I hate yelling at you, it breaks my heart to see you shatter like this - because of me. I’m sorry,” Miguel tells you, bending down to be closer to eye-level with you. You slowly look up at him, your eyes wide and glassy. Miguel is briefly reminded of a baby deer, with the way your eyes look and the way the start of your eyebrows quirk up in sorrow. He spreads his arm wide enough for you to stumble into them, and when you do, he envelopes you in an embrace, his hand rubbing your back soothingly.
“No, I’m sorry. I should’ve let one of the others take care of that child. I let my emotions get the better of me.” you mumble, returning the hug.
“All in all, we still stopped the anomaly from causing further damage, so don’t worry about it, okay? When we get home, we’ll go out okay? I know a new place that’s gotten a ton of good reviews…” your husband suggests, trying to make you feel even just a little bit better about the situation. You nod into his chest.
-
“And I am the idiot with the painted face
In the corner, taking up space
But when he walks in, I am loved, I am loved”
-
While Miguel had brushed off the fact that you almost risked the fate of the multiverse, a portion of the thousands of other Spiders hadn’t. Initially, when word got around that you slipped up, most people didn’t care, until they learnt what the cause of it was.
“All for a child?” “Seriously?” “How reckless!” were some of the many comments people had to offer. They weren’t horrible, just the occasional stink eyes and scoffs when you were around.
“It’s like no one else has done something wrong! What I did wasn’t even that bad!” you rant to Peter B., exasperated. The man in front of you lets out a series of “uhuh”s, “mhm”s and “exactly!”s whilst preoccupied with the little redheaded toddler trying to climb up a wall. You sigh, before making your exit, heading over to Sector 8.
Once walking through the gates of Sector 8, there’s a wave of silence as the Spider people occupying the area stare intently at you, silently scrutinising you. You timidly walk around groups of congregating Spiders, the hubbub of chatter returning.
“How is she still part of the Society? After what she risked…” you hear from a Peter Parker variant. That comment didn’t phase you but what stung was the response from a gossipy variant of Mary-Jane,
“Perks of being Miguel’s wife, she’s had everything here handed to her on a silver platter. I didn't take Miguel to be one to play favourites.”. Pushing through another group, you struggle to stop the tears from stinging your eyes. You shoot a web to the nearest corner, mounting yourself on the wall, and you tear your mask off. Your hair bounces out and sort of tilts to the side, due to the fact that you’re sitting on the wall.  Sinking into a cross-legged position, you bury your head in your hands, eyes closed, not necessarily crying or anything, just taking a break from the multiverse. You focus on your breathing, breathing in and out, in and out as a way to calm yourself, deflecting all the nasty things that the Spiders, who should theoretically be nice beings, had said about the whole ordeal.
You stay like that for a while, happy in your own little world, before a firm tap on your knee gets you to look up - no, sideways from your position. Miguel. Standing on the ground, looking up at you with concern.
“You alright, mi vida?”
You smile in response, nodding your head yes as you leap from your spot on the wall to Miguel’s side. He faces you and puts his hands on your shoulders, his touch surprisingly gentle.
“One of the guys notified me that you were seeming kind of out of it,” he pauses, trying to find the right words to articulate, “I came to check on you.”. Now it’s your turn to look up at him,
“Yeah I’m fine, Miggy.” you assure him, peering at his reddened eyes through your lashes. Miguel tilts his head to the side and frowns slightly, before sighing and guides your head to his chest with a large hand. He dips his head to kiss the top of yours, glowering at any of the other Spiders who’re staring.
“I love you, okay? You are one of, if not the most amazing person I’ve ever known. You work so hard, and always put in 200% and you’re always looking out for everyone, even if it means risking the Arachno-Humanoid-Polymultiverse.” he expressed, grimacing a bit at the ridiculously long name he had coined for the multiverse. You laugh, pressing your nose to Miguel’s chest. No matter what happens, you think, it’ll always be me and my husband.

Mom's Naughty Daughter conclusion
CHAPTER TEN
"Why don't you two stay home from school today?"
Bobby and Carolyn looked up at their mother. They were having breakfast and the bus would be coming by in half an hour.
"Why?" Bobby asked. "I'm not sick, and Carolyn sure doesn't look sick, either."
"I think Mother has a good reason," Carolyn said.
"I do," Lynn smiled. "I have a very good reason."
"I'll stay home only if there's fucking involved," Bobby said. "I'm not gonna miss school unless I can have some pussy!"
"You can have all the pussy you want, baby," Lynn smiled at her son. "In fact, you can stay naked all today. All right?"
Carolyn nodded eagerly and immediately stood up and started to take her clothing off. She unbuttoned her blouse and dropped it over the back of her chair. Her perky tits stood up firmly, her succulent nipples already erect. She started to take off her skirt then stopped.
"I don't think I'll undress all the way. If Bobby wants my pussy he can always find it."
Bobby wore only his jockey shorts.
Lynn unbelted her robe, flinging it open so her tits were exposed. She finished her coffee, then rose to clear away the table.
"Want me to take this robe off?" she asked them, her eyes twinkling.
Both her daughter and son nodded and Lynn dropped the robe. The triangle of her cunt hair drew their eyes, as it always did. Lynn turned and carried dishes to the sink and their eyes followed the movement of her swelling ass.
"Let me help you, Mother." Carolyn said, starting get up.
"No, honey, I can handle these." Lynn said.
She stood at the sink, her legs parted. The hair of her cunt could be seen between them and Lynn squeezed her asscheeks together tightly then relaxed. She did this a few times and then, without saying anything, began to piss.
"Oh, Mother!" Carolyn giggled.
"Mom, you're pissing on the fucking floor!"
"Mmmmmm, I know," Lynn murmured, looking at them over her shoulder. She spread her legs wider, the golden piss splashing down. "It's exciting, dont you think?"
Carolyn's eyes glazed over as she watched. Then, with a yelp, she jumped to her feet and ran to her mother. She pressed her cunt against the cheeks of her mother's ass, sliding her hands around Lynn to cup her tit.
Still sitting at the table, Bobby watched his sister twist her cute ass, rubbing her pussy against their mother's ass. He could still see the golden piss spurting from his mother's cunt.
Lynn turned toward her daughter and grasped the girl's rounded asscheeks. Bobby's eyes were wide with excitement as he watched the women facing each other, both holding the other by the ass. Carolyn began pissing, the two golden streams mixing and splashing on the floor.
Finally Bobby got up and moved to them, his cock bulging inside his shorts. Sliding his hand between their legs, he felt their hot piss soak his palm. He lifted his hand and felt both his mother's cunt and sister's pussy at the same time. His cock throbbed and he took it out. Then, with a giggle, he went to his knees, turning around and shoving his face between their pissing cunts.
His mother and sister giggled. Looking down between their bodies they watched Bobby move his face into the stream of golden piss.
"You like that, Bobby?" Lynn asked, giggling. "You like being pissed on by us?"
Bobby didn't reply. He just held his face into the stream of piss, his cock throbbing inside his fist.
"Don't come, Bobby!" his sister gurgled. "Don't come yet!"
Both women finished pissing at the same time. When it was over Bobby shoved his face up, licking from one piss-wet cunt to the other, pounding on his hard cock.
"Now this is what I call good-tasting cunt!" he said, pulling from between their legs. "A little piss on a cunt is just right."
Lynn and her daughter laughed at him. He was still gripping his cock, when he stood up and Carolyn pulled his fist off his hard-on.
"I don't want you to come yet," she said.
She dropped her skirt, which she had held at her waist, then went down to her knees before her brother.
Lynn gripped a cheek of her son's ass, her other hand holding his cock. When Carolyn opened her mouth Lynn stuffed her son's cock between her daughter's lips. Then, after kissing her son, she too, went to her knees, kissing and licking at his hips and thighs.
"You suck my cock, too, Mom," Bobby said.
Carolyn released his cock and watched as her mother sucked it in deeply. She held her brother's balls, her eyes glazed in passion. While her mother held the swollen head of his cock between her lips, Carolyn ran her tongue up and down the boy's cock shaft, making Bobby shake in pleasure.
Lynn and Carolyn passed his throbbing cock back and forth, taking turns sucking him. Both women held a cheek of his ass now.
"Mmmmmmm, tastes good, doesn't it, Carolyn?" Lynn grinned. "Wouldn't you say that was the sweetest-tasting hard-on you've ever sucked?"
Carolyn offered Bobby's cock to her mother's mouth.
"I love to suck a hard cock, Mother! I just love it so much! My cunt gets so hot... I could come just sucking one!"
"Mmmmmm, me too!" Lynn gurgled, feeding her son's cock back to her daughter's waiting mouth. "In fact, I already came once."
"I wish you two cock-suckers wouldn't talk so much!" Bobby said.
As Carolyn sucked his cock, Lynn slipped behind her son and started licking and kissing at his ass. Bobby's cock throbbed deep inside his sister's mouth and Carolyn mewled in passion, sliding her mouth to his balls and sucking them awhile.
His mother ran the flat surface of her hot, wet tongue all over his ass then shoved it between his asscheeks. Lynn could not quite touch his asshole.
Bobby arched his ass backwards and placed his hands on the sink. Carolyn's mouth stayed with his cock even as his mother began licking about his asshole. Lynn moved a hand between her son's thighs, gripping his balls. She slid two fingers around his cock feeling her daughter's lips brushing against them.
"Ohhhhh, suck my cock, Carolyn!" he urged. "Mom, lick my asshole! Ahhhh, this is good!"
Lynn shot the tip of her tongue into her son's asshole, flicking it in and out. Bobby grunted, his eyes closing with pleasure. His cock swelled harder inside his sister's mouth, his balls starting to get very tight.
"I'm about to come!" he yelped.
Immediately Lynn pulled her face out of his ass, rushing around in front of him. Carolyn pulled her mouth off her brother's cock and Bobby gripped it, jacking it in a frenzy. Lynn pressed her cheek against her daughter's, both women holding their mouths wide open.
The hot gush of come juice burst out of Bobby's piss hole, splashing into the faces of his mother and sister. Both women squealed and Bobby jerked his cock from one mouth to the other, sometimes squirting into them, sometimes missing.
By the time he finished their faces were coated with thick come juice. When he stopped spurting, they both licked the head of his cock. Their tongues meeting as they licked up any spilled come juice. Then, turning toward each other, Carolyn and Lynn licked the come juice from one another's face.
"You two are come-crazy," Bobby laughed in delight.
"Oh God!" Lynn whimpered. "Come juice is the sweetest thing in the world! I could suck cock and drink that sweet come juice all day!"
"All day?" Carolyn giggled. "Mother, I could suck cock all day and night!"
"You just might have that chance!" Lynn said.
"What do you mean?"
Lynn looked out the window and saw Jake leaving his small house.
"That's what I mean," she said, pointing. Carolyn looked, gave a squeal and quickly dropped her skirt to the floor. Then she started running for the back door.
"Carolyn! Not naked!" Lynn called.
"Yes naked!" her daughter yelped as she flew out the door.
Lynn watched through the window, seeing her daughter run into Jake's arms. Carolyn kissed the man hungrily, pointing eagerly toward the house.
Jake looked at the window, and saw Lynn smiling out at him. He waved, wrapping an arm about Carolyn's naked waist. Lynn watched then come toward the house then turned to her son.
"Bobby, Jake is coming in. Do you want to put on your pants?"
"Do I get to fuck too?" he asked.
Lynn's eyes went soft with affection. "You'll always get to fuck me and your sister no matter who else does, too."
"Then I'll stay in my shorts."
Carolyn and Jake entered. Already Jake's cock was straining inside his jeans. He had draped his arm around Carolyn's shoulder, cupping one of her perky tits. He saw Lynn was naked and he grinned.
"I hope you don't mind!" Jake said to Bobby. "Carolyn mentioned you needed some help."
Bobby looked at him then said. "Help? You don't know how much help I could use. These two need a fucking squad of men!"
Carolyn began opening Jake's pants and Lynn shoved her hand into her son's shorts, grasping his cock, squeezing and pumping, making it grow again.
"Ooooo, two beautiful cocks, Mother!" Carolyn squealed as she pumped on Jake's cock. "I'm going to fuck and suck day and night!"
Carolyn went to her knees and pulled the head of Jake's cock into her hot little mouth. Jake looked down at Carolyn, then at Lynn.
"You meant it then," he said. "I wasn't sure you told me the truth about both of you fucking me."
"Hey, me too!" Bobby said. "You can't leave me out of this!"
"You'll get all the pussy you want, darling," Lynn said.
"I'm not going to interfere, guy!" Jake said. "It's your mother and sister right?"
Bobby grinned. "That's right," he said. "Show him, Mom. Show him I'm not gonna get left out!"
"My pleasure, baby," Lynn said, jerking Bobby's shorts down and taking his cock into her mouth.
With Carolyn sucking eagerly on his cock, Jake fondled Lynn's ass, watching her sucking hungrily on her son's cock. Very gently, he pulled his cock from Carolyn's mouth and turned her head until Carolyn's face was in her mother's ass. Carolyn made no protest at all. She lapped her tongue into her mother's asshole, then down to her cunt. Jake watched a moment then brought her mouth back to his cock.
"I just wanted to know if you'd suck a cunt, too, Carolyn," he said.
Lynn pulled her mouth off her son's cock.
"Jake. I told you I may be cock-crazy, but I don't lie. I eat a little pussy once in a while myself."
She returned to her son's cock, taking it deep, as Jake, now fucking into Carolyn's mouth, began to rub a finger about Lynn's tight asshole.
"I take it up the asshole, too," Lynn whispered with her lips close to her son's cock. "And so does my daughter. In fact, you name it... we'll do it, and gladly!"
She began sucking hungrily at her son's cock again, wiggling her ass as Jake worked a finger into her asshole. Carolyn began to suck with more greed at his cock. The only sounds being made for a while were heavy pants and the soft, wet slurps of two mouths filled with hard cock.
"Im going to give you a mouthful, Carolyn!" Jake said, ramming his finger into Lynn's squeezing asshole. "I'm going to fill your mouth, sweetheart!"
Carolyn replied with an eager moan and as Jake gushed, she gulped loudly.
"Here it comes, Mom!" Bobby yelped, sending stream after stream of come juice into his mother's mouth. Lynn waggled her ass, her cunt convulsing. Her asshole squeezed around Jake's finger.
"Now, this is what I call a fucking family!" Jake laughed as they sat at the table later, coffee cups full. Like Lynn and her children, he was now naked, too.
"Do you think we can replace your wife and daughter?" Lynn asked.
"Not only replace, but surpass," he said.
"Then let's see if we can all fit on my bed!" Lynn laughed, leading them up the stairs.

“Look at how they’re dancing.” Your voice was filled with excitement and your face also showed it. “The way they’re feeling the music.”
“Oh yeah. They’re feeling it alright. Very much.” Nick mentions. You had come with a date. More like an arranged date, from your parents. They had been waiting for you to date the son of one of their closest friends and colleagues. Business allies.
You’ve known Nick since you were toddlers, you grew up together. So having the son and daughter, together of the two important companies is like continuing the legacy. Business. Money. You had come to Cuba for the very reason, corporation. Those meetings would bored you to death, you would prefer to read a book instead.
There was something about the music. It made you interested, and excited, seeing all the bodies dancing together. The women swayed their hips to the rhythm of the music, and the men pressed against the body frame. It was intense, yet your attention was devoted to it. Specifically to someone. Enzo. You had met him by the pool of the hotel where your family and Nick’s had been staying, he had accidentally spilled a few drinks and you decided to help him.
You had bumped into him on one of the streets, once again. He was dancing. A dancing that you hadn’t seen, and he had caught you staring. You told him about your parents taking you guys to a Country Club, and that’s when he mentioned the Havana Club. You thought about it when he first mentioned it, and your answer was an obvious no in your head, but after getting to the Country Club your answer had changed. The atmosphere was so grown up, so business you felt you would fall asleep at any moment.
So you asked Nick if he wanted to join you. You expected him to say no, but his answer was otherwise. And so now, the both of you stood in a Club that was much different from what the two of you knew.
There was that moment when your eyes met with Enzo’s, and it felt as if the moment hindered down. Your heart stopped for a minute, feeling a weird sensation running through your body. You kept the contact, and the smile on your face as you watched him come to you.
“Ah, you came!” The excitement was in his voice, and with how his arms raised when he saw you. “Look at you all fancy.”
“Yeah!” You giggled, eyes shooting down at your dress. A semi-short navy blue dress, somewhat loose only towards the end.
“Hi, I'm Enzo.” Enzo extends his hand for Nick to shake.
“Nick.” He takes his hand and shakes it for a second.
“Yeah, I know who you are, cheto.” His accent showed in the last phrase. It left the both of you confused not knowing what he had said. “Country Club was boring?” Enzo damps his lips with the wetness of his tongue, his attention being back on you.
He waited for an answer, only he got it from Nick. “We thought we could expand our horizons, you know, bro.” He gifts a shrug motion.
“You mean like, naturally experience Havana?” Enzo's lips turned into a smirk that he accompanied with a small sway of his hips, he managed to get a smile from you after his eyes moved to you. He was giving you a daring look, he licked his lips once more before he spoke and returned his eyes to Nick. “You mind if I dance with your date?”
Your mouth fell open with a smile. You weren’t going to deny you were excited, but yet nervous because you didn’t know a single move of this kind of dancing.
“Don’t ask me. You have to ask her.” His head motions your way. His move made Enzo turn his smirking face toward you.
“May I dance with you, chiquita?” It didn’t take long for Enzo to get a response—
“Yeah, okay!”
The excitement on your face was altogether apparent. If anybody were to see you, the first thing they would ask is if your cheeks don’t hurt from the muscles being tugged. Enzo pulled you into the filled floor, bodies pinning onto each other, not letting go. As if they were tied, glued together.
“Wanna give your boyfriend a show?” Enzo’s voice hollered through the clamant bellowing music.
“He’s not my boyfriend.” You answered back. At least not yet. You thought.
Your eyes glanced towards the women around, taking on to find a way to start, but they all moved so fast for your rookie moves. You had initiated by placing your hands on Enzo’s shoulders but he shook his head with a jokingly frown. He positioned your hands around his neck, and he took his, to your waist. There was a blunt pull that made you bump into his chest delivering a small gasp from your vocals.
“I’ll apologize in advance if I step on your toes. I’m not a good dancer.” You enunciate. There was no need to yell, the two of you were dangerously close.
“It’s okay, princesa. Practicing makes perfect.” He shoots you a wink. All these nicknames were making you flustered, you weren’t used to them. “The key is on the hips. You have to let go, sway.” He demonstrates with his.
You tried moving them. But in Enzo’s point of view, you were doing too much, and you could see it on his face. “I-” was the opening of your sentence, but he cut you off.
“Can I?” He had his hands placed on you already, he just wanted to make sure you were comfortable with him moving them around more.
After you delivered a nod, a sound came out of you, once again. He had turned you around, for your back to face his chest, and he had his hands extending for more space, trying to locate them at the perfect spot. “You don’t wanna think about it much.” His breath hits you on the back of the part that connects your neck and shoulder.
You felt how he began to move your hips from side to side. Definitely smoother than you previously were. “Move them with me, just a little.” He indicates.
You tried not to overdo it, to still leave it to him. You moved slowly, and your hands would softly touch his forearms from how he had them placed. With your head turned towards his chest there wasn’t a moment where his breath wasn’t hitting you. He drove the both of you front and back still shifting your hips.
“Mind if we add a few spins?”
You shake your head in a “No” manner. The minute he moved away you felt as if you could breathe correctly again, as if you had been holding your breath with how close you were to him.
With his hand connected with yours he raised it above your head to give you a spin, and another, and another after he switched positions. “You’re still gonna spin towards me on this one.” He indicates making you nod quickly, like if you were afraid to miss anything. His hand was now extended between the two of you.
There was the nod, that said it was your cue. When you turned, your other hand hung around his neck, with heavy breathing. No wonder they sweat so much, so many movements. There was a part when he had his hand on your lower back, bending you back with his body hovering over yours.
Oh boy.
His lips were so close to yours. He had his eyes scanning every feature of your face as if he was taking advantage of the close-up he was granted. Feeling the way his hand traveled from your waist to your thigh had you gripping him, and even more when he raised it towards his side.
“Part of the dance, America.” He says. You guessed he had noticed the face expression you had on, and he liked it.
It wasn’t always that a woman would get Enzo’s attention. Yeah, he would dance with many, but that was it, and the fact that he had the pleasure of teaching you basics was even better.
A hum was all you let out. You didn’t trust yourself with words during this point, at any moment your voice could crack and the embarrassment was not going to happen.
“Why don’t you touch me?” Your eyes go wide at his words.
Was he serious right now?
“Excuse me?” A furrow is delivered from brows, confused.
“Not like that.” He laughs. “You gotta set loose, put your hands on me, move them around.”
So that's what he meant. Your cheeks were tinted red from both embarrassment and the lack of air from the humidity in the room, face was flushed. And Enzo’s hair was getting damped from the sweat, a few strands sticking to his forehead.
He had turned you around again, using his hands to move yours towards his face. Your fingers brushed his jawline, and slowly later moved to touch his cheek.
“Just like that.” You could feel the smirk on his lips as they rested right next to your ear.
You were so concentrated with him, that you didn’t feel any of the other people around you, as if the heat was only coming from the both of you. The colors of the lights were dimmed, giving it a more vibey style.
“Are we ready to go?” Oh, Nick. His voice came out grimacing.
“Oh um, yeah.” You pulled away from Enzo, gifting him a small smile. So he did the same.
“Why so early, bro?” There was that smirk again.
“We just have other things to do, bro.” Nick gives Enzo a sardonic smile that he gladly returns with no shame.
“Okay! Bro’s.” You add, turning over to Nick and patting him on the chest to walk it over. This was a scene that you did not need to happen.
“Oh come on, we were having a good time!” Enzo digs, he wants to play with fire. “Are you scared I’ll steal her from you?” He was taunting it.
Nick laughed. Laughed at the situation, and laughed at Enzo. “Not a chance.”
Nick thought he had you under control, with how much your family and his family made together, you wouldn’t leave him for someone like Enzo.
“Okay, guys, stop. Nick, let’s go.” Your words followed a gentle push that made him stumble backward. “Enzo, thank you for the dance. It was... amazing.” And for him, there was a smile. Nothing more.
Enzo let out a small tsk sound squinting his eye. “Cuando quieras chiquita.” His words made you smile, and he later realized you didn’t know what he had just said. “It was a pleasure.” He puts his hand on his chest.
Walking away with Nick, there was your hand grabbing him by the arm ready to get out of the club. There was the smile that you tried to get rid of but couldn’t, something about Enzo and the way the both of you danced had magic in it. The beauty of it is that you wanted to continue to try, but couldn’t for obvious reasons.
Enzo kept an eye on as your figure ambled out of the Havana Club, the cheeky smirk still on his face. Oh, how he loved this moment. Enzo was a flirt, everyone knew that. He was never afraid of showing how he felt, or his actions. And knowing that he had gotten under your not-boyfriend’s skin, made him feel even better.
“Pero que belleza, Dios. Que viva América.”

pairing: leon kennedy x agent!(fem)reader
synopsis: you become leon's informant for a mission while hunnigan is on leave and end up in a relationship with him a while after. all is well until leon goes on a certain mission.
word count: 3k
content: angst, hurt/no comfort, mentions of war, mentions of cheating, drunk leon, mention of bleeding, mentions of death (?)
a/n: there is a severe lack of hurt/no comfort leon fics on here and i plan on fixing that /j maybe there is and im just not looking hard enough but oh well if i can't find one i'll make one. also! this takes place after re:damnation which explains the us and russia war so pls dont be startled by the mention of it.
the rain poured heavily on the cold pavements of the sidewalk you and him once walked together, hand in hand, the both of you thought that maybe this was where you were both meant to be, with each other. atleast, that was you thought. if that were the case, you wouldn’t be under the pouring rain, crying over what you once thought was your forever. the salty tears mixed with the rain as the droplets hit your face. you bit your lip in frustration refusing to believe that this is happening to you, but you always knew, deep down, this was bound to happen.
a few months had gone by and things have finally settled down at the DSO ever since the war between the us and russia. missions have been more manageable and not as large scale as the war and everything else has been rather tame. you’ve been working as an FOS (field operations support) agent for quite some time already to know the ins and outs of how things work. its been a few years serving as agent and an information source to multiple other agents in the DSO but not once have you worked with the man himself, leon kennedy. his informant was ingrid hunnigan, a long time FOS agent. she had worked alongside leon ever since 2004 when he saved ashley graham, the president’s daughter and ever since then they have been working together until now. over time, the two of you have gotten close and have even worked together in some missions. not only were you co-workers, but also good friends outside of work.
you stood outside the office yet you could already hear the clatter and busy sounds of the people working. you opened the door and greeted your fellow co-workers a good morning, except for one person. scanning the room from all its four corners, you couldn't find hunnigan anywhere, not even at her desk. so, you asked a co-worker of yours that sat just a cubicle beside you about her.
“hey, have you seen hunnigan around?”
“oh, she’s on leave i think? i saw a note on her desk, it’s for you, so you can just check that out.”
“ahh, alright thanks.”
you walk up to hunnigan’s desk and hover over her files looking for the note that your co-worker told you about. you murmured to yourself, “here it is…”
“i’m currently on leave for while due to some family issues and they need me back home. it was really urgent, i’m sorry i couldn’t tell you sooner. also, i left my assignment to you so please do me the favor. leon is going on a mission by the time you’re reading this note, someone will get you patched up to his line so don’t worry. i owe you [y/n]. –hunnigan”
“she’s definitely gonna owe me for this…” you muttered curses in your head when you were suddenly interrupted by a tap on the shoulder.
“[l/n] right?” asked by an unfamiliar face. but based on hunnigan’s note, you knew that this is the someone she was talking about.
“yes that is me, i’m assuming you will get me on mr. kennedy’s line?”
“ah, yes. i see that you have been informed.”
“i don’t know the complete details of the mission so if you would kindly brief me…”
“don’t worry, please follow me.”
you followed them into a room where they explained the information you will be needed as leon’s informant for the mission. in the back of your head, you were nervous. you’ve never worked with leon before and he has made quite the name for himself in the government and is particularly well liked by the president. working with someone with such a high status made you really agitated but you calmed yourself down thinking that this was like every other mission you’ve been on.
a few hours had gone by and you are now in the communications area. you have all the files you needed in one folder, you’ve been briefed on the current situation, and everything seems to be under control.
“mr. kennedy is on the chopper as we speak. you may now call him and let him know all the other details that he will be needing.”
“i’m a bit nervous…”
“there is no need to be nervous, i’m sure hunnigan trusted you enough to know that you will do well in her place.”
“yeah, you’re right…”
“i’ll leave you be now, you got this.”
after the words of encouragement from hunnigan’s colleague, you took a deep breath and pressed the call button to which leon quickly responded. “so, where’s the landing po- oh?” he looked into the screen of his phone and squinted. “you’re not hunnigan…”
“you’re right, i’m not. just a substitute while she’s on leave. i have your landing point marked mr. kennedy.”
“oh is that so? don’t bother with the formalities, just call me leon. and you? how should i call you?”
“[y/n] will do.”
“alright [y/n], pretty name for a pretty girl like yourself.”
leon’s words caught you off guard and you could feel your face heat up. you cleared your throat and looked visibly flustered over the phone over a simple compliment from him. leon saw this and chuckled at the sight of you blushing through the screen.
“thanks… um...”
“so pretty girl, are you gonna inform me now or what?
“oh right, right… refrain from any making unnecessary comments while on the job please.” you said as you tried to regain some some sense into yourself.
“yes mam, whatever you say.” leon said with a grin on his face.
Tumblr media
after that mission, you and leon still kept contact even when hunnigan came back from her leave. he would always message you about his day and he’d take you out on dates whenever he had the chance to. but the label was never specified between the two of you. you understood that in his line of work consistency within a relationship was hard to maintain. not only that, but the overthinking that you would have to face almost everyday would eat you up if you were not mentally strong enough to handle it. the thought that maybe leon could be badly hurt in a location you couldn't reach, or even worse, him dying on the job, not even having the chance to say his final goodbyes to his loved ones, friends, you. so you thought that maybe it was for the best.
you were each other’s relief and the more time went by, the stronger your feelings for leon grew. and because of this, you decided to distance yourself from him, in hopes that he would just forget about you so that he could focus on his work. but leon couldn’t forget you. everyday he thought of you, you were the first thing on his mind and the last thing he thinks about before going to sleep. and even in his dreams he saw you. 24/7 you were on his mind. everytime he was on a mission, he always thought of coming back home to you, but you didn’t know that. he never told you how much you have plagued his mind ever since the day he met you and heard your voice through the intercom. he found purpose and reason to live. he didn’t feel like someone who’s at the government’s disposal, a weapon, a mere shell of a person made to execute the living dead. when you had decided to distance yourself from him, leon needed you to know that it was the last thing he wanted.
Tumblr media
the repeated ringing of your doorbell echoed in your apartment. you got up from your bed feeling annoyed and rubbed your eyes as it adjust slowly to the bright light of your digital clock. 12:58, who could be ringing your doorbell like a maniac at this hour? slowly, you shuffled to the front of the door and checked the peep hole before opening the door. suddenly, your half-asleep state suddenly vanished and you were completely awoken by the sight of leon outside your door. it had been a few weeks since you had cut contact with him, and you did not expect him to show up infront of your doorstep at that very moment.
once leon heard the sound of the door unlock, he swung it open and immediately threw his arms around you.
“leon, what are you-“
“please, don’t leave me…” he choked out these words as he pulled away from his embrace and you could see his eyes start to well up with tears.
“i have loved you ever since i have laid my eyes on you. and these past few weeks had made me realize how much i've missed you. whether it was a text, a call, time with you, i missed everything about you. i don’t ever want you to think that you’re just someone i waste my time with to get off. you matter so much to me and yes, i’d love to waste my time with you, not for my own pleasure, but because i love you. i love you so much it physically pains me when you’re not around so please… don’t leave me…”
“i’m here right now leon, i’m not leaving you… i promise.”
Tumblr media
life after leon’s confession had looked up and the two of you had never been happier. he had moved in with you and every day you share together was a day well-spent. during the mornings, you and leon would always take a stroll down the pavements outside your apartment, hands intertwined, the both of you enjoyed each other’s company for as long as time could allow. for the first few months, as you expected, the overthinking hit you. was he going to come back safely? is he going to survive? when would he back home? anything could happen to him. leon knew this would happen at one point and he never wanted you to worry. so, he would send you sweet messages or even call you when he could but you didn’t want to interrupt him on his missions. that's why sometimes, leon would send messages to hunnigan for her to pass on to you. you could see how much effort leon was putting into the relationship and it made your heart skip a beat everytime you think about it, especially because you felt like you didn’t deserve it. you didn’t deserve any ounce of leon’s love. but leon always told you otherwise. and he would always show you that you deserved every single bit of it.
later on in the relationship, you and leon got to know each other fully. he opened up about his childhood, his traumas, and ada. he reassured you that even though ada was a big part of his life before, you were his now and his future. and you did feel somewhat thankful for ada because you knew that without her, leon would not have survived the raccoon city incident. but it haunted you knowing that she was all he could think about for a big portion of his life. not to mention his relations with her before the us and russian war. knowing that they have been together and that he longed for her return everytime. how could you compare to the woman he had yearned for years on end. every time you would overthink this, leon would always reassure you that if she came back he wouldn’t be phased by her presence because he was inlove with you and only you. atleast, that’s what he said.
Tumblr media
leon was off to another mission as per usual, you kissed him and bid him the words you always say before he goes. “be safe always and don’t forget to return to me. i love you leon.” he smiles and would always respond back, “i’ll be safe and i will always return to you. i love you too [y/n].” it was basically a ritual at that point.
a few hours later, your phone buzzed and the screen lit up. it was a text from leon.
my special agent: hey princess, i’ll be sent off soon. can’t wait to finish this so i can get back home to you.
you: alright, take care baby, i love you.
my special agent: i love you more ;)
you were at ease but it didn’t last long when days turned into weeks and you haven’t heard from him. you decided to ask hunnigan during work about leon’s whereabouts.
“hey hunnigan, have you heard from leon?”
“umm, no i haven’t had contact from him in awhile… what’s the matter?”
“he’s been radio silent and i’m getting worried that something happened in his mission.”
“his mission? it was successful. he finished it 3 weeks ago.”
“3 weeks ago? then why hasn’t he let me know?”
“i’m sorry [y/n] but i am not aware of his whereabouts ever since he finished. try asking chris if he knows anything.”
“i will, thank you hunnigan.”
“i hope things are fine...”
“i hope so too…”
you clocked out of your job for the day and dialed chris. as your phone started ringing, you started to drown in your thoughts at what could have possibly happened to leon. what has he been doing these past 3 weeks? where was he staying? is he okay? is he badly injured? worry after worry started filling your head that you suddenly found yourself crying.
“hello? hello?” a voice suddenly spoke up from the phone. you didn’t realize that chris had already picked up the phone.
“[y/n]? are you there?”
you sniffle before responding and cleared your throat, “yes! i’m here um, have you heard from leon by any chance?”
you hear chris heavily sigh over the phone.
“is there something wrong chris? please tell me he’s okay…”
“hes… he’s fine, but he isn’t here with me now. i’ll bring him over there.”
“please do… thank you so much chris.”
“anytime [y/n].”chris dropped the call. “should i tell her…”
night time soon fell and you were outside the apartment building waiting for chris’s car to arrive. you were worried sick and checked your watch every 5 minutes feeling the most anxious you have ever been. there was a pit in your stomach and all you wanted to do was throw up due to the overwhelming thoughts. 12: 58, they’re here.
“chris! leon!” you call out for their names. chris got out of the car carrying a drunk leon to you.
“i’m sorry to bring him to you in this state…”
“it’s okay chris, thanks again.”
“again, anytime [y/n], be strong.”
“be strong?” you thought to yourself. what did chris mean? he passed over leon to you and he fell into your arms. chris drove off before tried talking to leon.
“leon, hey, are you okay?” you asked as you tried to brush off the hair off his face. it revealed a crying leon which surprised you.
“i… i’m so sorry [y/n]…”
“it’s okay baby you’re here now, safe and sound, that’s what matters..”
“no… no!" leon shouted as he pushed you away.
“leon what is wrong? please, tell me!” you begged.
“i saw ada again.”
you stood there, shell-shocked, dreading the following words that leon was gonna utter. you prayed to all the gods out there that it wasn’t what you thought it was.
“i… we… im sorry…” leon stumbled on his words.
“you what leon...?"
“i cheated on you…” he said as tears started to roll down his cheek.
“how could you…? after everything you’ve said? after everything we’ve been through? was it all a lie?” you walked up to him fighting back the tears.
“tell me leon! i deserve an explanation! you owe it to me! how could you do this to me?! was i not enough for you?! where did i go wrong? tell me!” you punched him in the chest and gripped it tightly.
“i love you leon… i thought you loved me too?”
“i do love yo-“
“you don’t! you wouldn’t-“ you feel a lump in your throat. “you wouldn’t have done that if you loved me…”
“it was a mistake [y/n], please i’m sorry…”
“leon… stop…”
“i’m sorry… please… forgive me.”
“you said you’d return to me…”
“i did… im here right now, aren’t i?”
“no. you returned to her.”
leon embraced you tightly, clinging onto you but you only stood there. its as if the world you have created for you and him had crashed down right before your eyes. everything you once knew, felt like a lie. all these months, you’ve been living a lie. but what could you have done? how could you, a woman who has been with him for less than a year, compete with the likes of her? the woman who’s saved her countless of times, the first woman he ever loved, the woman who he had waited for almost all his life. your relationship felt too good to be true. you knew, it was too good to be true, you were right, it was to good to be true. you felt like a fool for blindly believing leon’s words. bullshit. you were never his future, you were just a distraction, until she finally came back. the realization stung you and its poison was seeping into your veins destroying you inside out.
“leon, pack your stuff now.”
“don’t do this [y/n], please i’m begging you.”
“don’t make me say it twice, pack it now."
leon looked at you for one last time before letting you go in defeat, walking away from you and into the apartment building. you open your phone and dial chris once more to which he picked up immediately.
“chris, please come back, pick up leon."
“[y/n]- “ before he could even say anything else you dropped the call and the rain began to pour. your knees began to feel weak and you drop down on the cold pavement. your chest feels tighter and tighter, breathing becoming hard and heavy. you clutch tightly onto your chest as you choke back the tears. feeling exhausted and tired, you let it all out, screaming, wailing, and begging any higher force to take away the pain, but it looked like even the gods above couldn’t help you. you were helpless and alone once more. you bit your lip as hard as you can trying to contain yourself. so much so until it started to bleed. but you didn’t care. you didn’t care about anything at all at this point. a part of you wished you could turn back time to when you were happy but you questioned yourself wondering what could’ve been better. reliving all the moments together, even though you knew how it will all end, in pain and suffering, or just never accepting hunnigan’s favor, never making contact with him, never meeting him, never falling in love with him.

warnings/content : fluff summary: in which luke only has eyes for you. word count : 2,374
authors note : This is my first time actually writing a fanfic, so this may just be very bad. My writing style also may be all over the place, I just haven't found one I like yet 😿
Tumblr media
“Why aren’t you dressed?”
You looked up to where the voice was coming from, only to be met with the face of your best friend, Alyssa. She was wearing a really cute sparkly dress, one that fit her perfectly.
“Don’t want to go,” you shrugged, your voice the same sleepy tone as it always was. But that comes with being the daughter of the god of sleep. Alyssa rolled her eyes before grabbing your arm and dragging you out of bed.
“Absolutely not; you are getting dressed, and we are going to that party.”
Before you could protest, you were already in the Athena cabin. “It’s not everyday we get to have a party here, and you want to spend it sleeping? sometimes I really dont get you.”
Alyssa was going through her closet, presumedly trying to find a dress for you to wear.
“It’s not my fault my dad is the actual god of sleep.” You groan. “And why should I even go to this party? I’m not a party person at all. You know that.”
“Because,” Alyssa turned to look at me. “He will be there”
“As if that means something, you really think out of all the girls he could pick at camp, he would pick me?”
“Well you’ll never know if you dont go” Alyssa finally seemed to have found something, and she turned to me once again. “put this on,” She was holding a dark grey mini dress.
You knew there was no use in arguing with her, if you said no she would probably put it on you herself. Reluctantly, you got up and changed. The dress fit a like glove, it was at times like this being the same size as your best friend was a livesaver. Alyssa gave a small clap when you went to show her how you looked in the dress and after that she spent almost 30 minutes doing your hair and make-up.
“You look so beautiful” Alyssa hugged you from behind, using the mirror to look at you “Luke would be an idiot if he didn’t think so too”
The amphitheatre transformed it to the perfect party spot, with tables full of drinks and foods and speakers blasting Rihanna and Eminem. You and Alyssa were sitting on the stone benches a few steps up, talking to a few apollo kids. You tried to listen to what they were talking about but you just couldn’t, not when he was there.
Standing in the middle of the dance floor was Luke Castellan, son of hermes. You’ve had a crush on him for almost three years now. But you’ve never told him about it, which was getting harder everyday as you had to see him every morning walking around the hermes cabin shirtless in search for his camp shirt that he had once again lost. Being the child of a minor god meant that you didnt have your own cabin, so you stayed in the hermes cabin with all the other minor god children. You had no complaints though, being able to see Luke come out of the bathrooms with wet hair, wearing only a towel was an absolute blessing. You were snapped out of your trance by Dahlia, your other best friend.
“oh my god ‘lyssa actually did it, you’re here” she faked a surprised voice before letting out a laugh “want to get a drink?”
You nodded before standing up, you wanted to aks Alyssa to come with you, but she was to busy talking to one of the apollo boys, so you just let her be.
You and Dahlia chatted about nothing and everything while walking to the drinks table.
“Have you seen clarisse’s dress?” Dahlia said while stuffing her mouth full with chips. She didn’t wait for you to awnser “I’m going to talk to her” and again without waiting for you to awnser, she walks away.
“Atleast someone has balls” You mutter under your breath. “Now what to drink?”
“I’d go for the grape juice, closest thing to wine we’ll get” A voice from behind starteld you.
You turned around to that Luke was standing behind you.
Your heart fluttered and the breath caught in your throat, leaving you momentarily gasping for air. The fairy lights above highlighted Luke's mischievous smile, his eyes twinkling with a carefree joy that only someone like Hermes' son could have. His suggestion about grape juice brought a wave of laughter that released the tension you didn't know you were holding.
"Definitely," you replied, managing to keep your voice steady. "You can never go wrong with the classics, right?" You filled two cups with the juice and offered one to Luke. He accepted it with a nod, his fingers briefly brushing against yours.
The music changed then, transitioning from fast-paced Rihanna and Eminem songs to a slower, more enchanting tune that seemed to wrap around each person like silk threads, pulling them towards the dance floor. Couples began pairing off, swaying in a rhythm that was both timeless and new.
"Would you like to dance?" Luke asked formally, extending his hand towards you.
You were taken aback by the unexpected offer. It felt surreal, as if you had stepped into one of those dream sequences where everything fell perfectly into place according to your deepest desires. But this was real; it was Luke standing before you, waiting for your response. For a moment, you hesitated, the years of hiding your feelings for him weighing heavily on your decision. Then, without thinking, you placed your hand in his and felt a spark ignite within you that threatened to consume your entire being.
Following Luke's lead, you stepped onto the dance floor and felt your heart pounding against your chest. As the music swelled around you, the rest of the world seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you in a sea of soft light and shadows. Luke moved with confidence but also with a gentle touch, as if he knew the power of every step they took together.
Your hands found their place on his shoulders, radiating warmth from the summer heat, while his settled lightly on your waist. The closeness between you sent waves of warmth throughout your body, reminiscent of evenings spent around bonfires and secrets whispered under starry skies.
The way Luke looked at you - with a sense of truly seeing you for the first time - melted away any uncertainty that had been building up over time. In his gaze, you were no longer just another pretty face among all the others at camp; you were the sole focus of his attention.
Your breath caught as he leaned in close, his breath tickling your ear. "You know," he murmured amidst the music, his voice rumbling softly, "I've always thought you were the best dancer out here."
A shy laugh escaped your lips. "Me? You must have me confused with one of the Apollo kids. They practically have rhythm flowing through their veins."
"Nah," Luke replied with a grin, spinning you effortlessly before pulling you back into his arms. "They have nothing on you."
In that moment, the world seemed to pause and catch its breath. His words were a ray of sunlight, piercing through the dense foliage of doubts and fears. A blush spread across your cheeks, feeling as though an artist had painted them with shades of warmth.
"Come on," you playfully retorted, trying to maintain composure despite the fluttering in your chest. "You must have been struck by Cupid's arrow to be saying such sweet things."
"Maybe I was," Luke shot back, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "Or maybe I've just found the courage to speak what's been on my mind for some time now."
"And what's that?" You couldn't help but ask, curiosity mingling with hope like vines creeping up an old stone wall.
Luke's smile softened and he leaned back slightly, relishing in the intensity of your gaze that made the background noise of the party fade away. His voice lowered to a whisper, filled with a sincerity that sent shivers down your spine.
"That you, my dear dance partner," he began, "are the most captivating person I've ever met. Not because of how you move on the dance floor or how your laughter brings joy to those around you. But because when I look at you—I see home."
A surge of emotions washed over you, like a warm blanket on a cold night. It felt as though every secret glance and unspoken conversation had led to this one moment in time.
"Luke, I—"
As you spoke, he placed a gentle finger on your lips, silencing you but igniting a deeper conversation through his touch. "Shh," he whispered with a playful yet sincere tone. "No need for words right now. Let's just…dance."
And so you did.
The music enveloped you like a vine as you danced together, the world shrinking until it was just the two of you amidst a sea of beating hearts and rhythmic feet. The lights above cast a warm glow on your union, creating an intimate atmosphere. You moved to the rhythm of an ancient dance, swaying as if on gently swelling ocean waves.
His eyes never left yours, reflecting the twinkling stars in the night sky. In this dance, all your hesitations vanished and were replaced by newfound courage. Your fingers tightened on his shoulders, anchoring yourself to the moment.
Eventually, the song ended and the crowd erupted into applause for the band's final bow. But their noise was nothing compared to the symphony that played in your hearts.
He smiled mischievously at you, sparks of adventure lighting up his features. "Come with me," he said, barely audible over the cheers and clapping.
Without waiting for your response, Luke took your hand and led you through the crowd of dancers and out into the tranquil night. The cool air brushed against your skin, contrasting with the warmth still lingering from his touch. You followed him eagerly, barely touching the pebbled path as anticipation fluttered within you like a captured butterfly.
The moon hung like a silver coin in the sky, casting its ethereal glow on everything below. The world was transformed, familiar objects taking on a magical quality – trees becoming silhouettes guarding secrets and the lake turning into a pool of liquid silver.
Reaching the edge of the lake, Luke didn't pause. He took off his shoes and rolled up his pants before looking at you expectantly. Without speaking, you did the same, feeling the cool grass under your feet and then the shock of cold as your toes touched the water.
In unspoken agreement, you walked hand in hand into the lake, its surface parting around your ankles and sending ripples through the water. The sound of pebbles tumbling underfoot created a symphony just for the two of you. As you moved deeper into the lake's embrace, it hummed around your knees, beckoning you to dance.
Luke's hand was warm and steady in yours as you both paused to take in the beauty of the world from within the heart of the lake. It was a breathtaking sight - the moonlight shimmering on the water, starlight seemingly captured beneath the surface. Your reflections were side by side, two souls intertwined in a nightly masterpiece.
Turning towards you, Luke's eyes mirrored the galaxy above, full of mysteries and silent promises. Your breaths mingled with the misty air as he stepped closer, closing the gap between you until there were only inches separating your bodies. In his gaze was an unspoken question, an invitation to a place where time couldn't touch you.
The answer was already clear to you, like a flower blooming in your heart. You felt a magnetic pull towards Luke, one that seemed to defy the laws of gravity and connect you two in a way that redefined nature.
You met him halfway, your previous shyness melting away in his presence. His hands fit perfectly on your waist, as if they were meant to be there since the beginning of time. The world faded into the background, leaving only this moment between the two of you.
Your heart beat with an intensity matching the crashing waves against the shore. As Luke's eyes locked with yours, you saw all of your feelings reflected back at you—a depth that could never be captured by words alone.
As the air stirred and the light shimmered, every breath between your lips seemed to dance in anticipation. And when he turned his face towards yours, it was as though the stars had aligned to bring you together, destined for this moment.
At first, the kiss was tender, like a feather's touch or the gentle caress of moonlight on earth. But as your lips moved in unison, tenderness gave way to a surge of passion that pulsed through your body. Your urgent response matched his own, your bodies pressing together as if trying to meld into one being under the glow of the moon above.
In the stillness of the night, time paused, allowing the world to witness the union of two hearts. The cool water around your knees could not quell the fire ignited by Luke's kiss. It was a kiss that fulfilled longings, broke barriers and crumbled walls in a silent surrender.
You gently placed your hands on his cheeks, feeling the roughness of his stubble beneath your thumbs. A smile spread across your lips as you felt him return the gesture. Slowly, reluctantly, you both pulled away and rested your foreheads against each other, trying to catch your breath. Each exhale was a shudder of pleasure; each inhale was a silent vow.
The stillness surrounding you was profound, broken only by the gentle lapping of water against the shore and the distant sounds of celebration fading into the night. In Luke's embrace, with the cool water caressing your skin and the moonlight highlighting his features, it became clear that this was more than just a temporary escape or a fleeting entertainment. This moment—it was an awakening.
"Look at us," Luke whispered softly into the night air, "dancing under the moon in a lake like something out of a romantic fairy tale."

New camper: Percy Jackson x reader (daughter of apollo)
A/n: thank you so much for giving this a read! This is my first time writing for the PJO universe so let me know if you like it! Requests are open! No NSFW or Smut! Enjoy
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Good morning" Percy said tiredly, greeting his best friend Grover at the dining pavilion, taking a seat next to him.
"Morning" Grover replied, "hey did you see Annabeth on your way here? She's usually the first one here and I haven't seen her yet"
As if almost on cue she was walking towards the boys, an excited smirk painted across her face.
"Camp Half-Blood has a new camper!"
"What?!" replied Percy
"She showed up late last night, all alone. Chiron told me she had been hurt pretty badly but he took her into the infirmary and gave her some Ambrosia"
"She took it? So, she's definitely a half-blood?" Percy asked
"Yep! We should be meeting her later today" Annabeth was ecstatic, she loved new campers!
--time skip--
As the day went on there was still no sight of the new camper. Word had made its way around camp and people began to take their guesses as to who was her parent.
"I hope she's in our cabin!" A child of Aphrodite had said
"No! I bet she HAS to be in ours! Showing up without a Satyr by her side means she's a warrior"an Ares kid chimed
"As long as she's not in ours I dont care" a tired looking Hermes kid said.
It was almost dinner time when Chiron had found Percy, sparring with someone from the Ares cabin.
"Percy can I speak to you for a moment?"
"Yeah sure" he said, removing his helmet and recapping his sword.
"Im sure you've heard we've had a new camper join us."
"Yeah it's all over camp" he replied
"Ah yes. Well let's say she hasn't been thrilled to learn about her new family. Reminds me a lot of you when you first came here"
Percy thought back to his first few days at camp. He was confused, scared, angry, and very much overwhelmed.
"I was wondering if you could help ease her mind by speaking to her. You understand what she's feeling better than I can."
"And im not half horse" Percy smiled
"Yes there is that" Chiron chuckled
"Alright I want to meet her!" Percy agreed. He really did want to help, but he also knew how jealous Annabeth would be that he met her first. The two walked into the big house and there she was, staring down at her feet.
"Y/N, this is Percy, son of Poseidon. Percy this is Y/N. I'm sure you two will get long swimmingly" Chiron chuckled at his own joke, "I will give you two some privacy" with that, he left the room. Leaving the two teenagers alone.
An awkward silence filled the room, when finally Y/N broke the silence.
"Son of Poseidon, huh?" she asked
"That's me" he smiled, proud of the title he held.
"That's crazy, the gods don't exist!"
"They do exist. I know it all feels a bit insane at first but-"
"A bit?! My whole life i've had these things coming after me and I didn't understand why. I thought I was insane and seeing things, but apparently that's normal?! And my dad? The reason he's neglected me my whole life was because he was a god?! There's just no way"
"Hey, it's gonna be ok. I know how you feel. I felt like that when I first got here. All my life my dad wasn't someone I had thought about much because I had my mom, and thats all I needed. Then I find out that he's now the most important thing in my life? I had so many emotions, but if you just give this place a chance? I promise everything gets a lot less scary"
This seem to get to the girl. She started to tear up.
"Ok, i'll try." she whispered
"I'll show you around and it'll all be ok, I promise."
The two made their way around camp, Y/N was mostly silent. "The sun is so warm here, it's not like that where I'm from"
"Everything is a little bit stronger here."
"I can tell" she smiled
"So, do you have any idea who your dad might be?" Percy asked, careful not to poke at the sensitive subject.
"I think but I'm not sure. My mom used to talk about Apollo, a way she never did about other Gods"
"Ok then...then we have to find a way for him to see you! If he see's you, he'll claim you!"
"Yeah but how?"
"Gods dont claim you because they feel like it, you have to work for it" Annabeth said, inviting herself to the conversation.
"Y/N this is Annabeth, daughter of Athena"
"Hey" Y/n said
"Percy have you taken her to the archery field? Apollo kids thrive there"
"No I didn't"
"Seaweed brain c'mon!" Annabeth rolled her eyes, "Lets go" she led the two there and put a bow and arrow in Y/N's hands. The girl had fired it easily and hit the bullseye.
"Beginners luck?" y/n asked
"Go again" Chiron said, but before she could something came flying down at her, she shot it down easily.
"That could've killed us" Percy said, mouth agape, "and you shot it down with ease!" he said
"Look!" One of the campers said
Y/N was becoming engulfed in a bright light and a sun appeared over her head. She was now an official resident of cabin 7
