Some Solar and Nova Fluff

Movie Night

Solar had been wandering the tunnels one day when they found a small knock, mostly hidden from the main pathways and just big enough for two people. That's when the wheels had started turning. Solar had spent the next 3 hour getting the spot ready. They bought out all the off brand popcorn from Ale's, convinced DCM to lend them a projector, hung up a bed sheet and gathered every pillow and blanket in A New School. Finally, they turned one their walkie talkie.

  "Nova? You busy?"

  "Not really. Why?"

  "You remember the one tunnel entrance I showed you?"

  "The one I promised not to mention I know about? Yes."

  "Can you meet me there in 5 minutes."

  Okay? What are you planning?"

  "You'll see."

  "Alright. Over and Out." Solar looked at the setup again, pleased with their handywork. Then it hit them.

  "Fuck, forgot the movie."

Solar got back with their laptop exactly 7 seconds before Nova did.

  "Whoa." She said. "This is, whoa."

  "Hey. Make yourself comfy , I'm just getting the movie rigged up."

  "What movie we watching?" Nova asked, flopping into the pile of pillows.

  "Tell me, what do you know about Disney?"

  "What the fuck is Disney?"

  "Animation company, owns most of the entertainment industry at this point, probably will own all of it one day  Anyway, they make movies. So we are going to have a marathon." Solar finished hooking up their laptop and flopped beside Nova. "Every animated Disney movie, chronological order." Solar tapped the play button and soon Snow White started playing.

About half way through their Disney Marathon, Solar fell asleep, head on Nova's shoulder. When they woke up, Lilo and Stitch was ending

  "Oh, cool. Next one the list is-"

  "Can we watch it again?" Nova asked.

  "Lilo and Stitch?" Nova nodded very quickly. "Um, yah." Solar scrolled back to the beginning and hit play. Nova snuggled closer.

They ended up watching Lilo and Stitch at least 8 times. 

  "Why do you like this movie so much."

  "Reminds me of you."

  "Really?"

  "Yah I mean, Lilo is so patient explaining things to Stitch. And they love each other, even though Stitch isn't from the same place as Lilo. Also the soundtrack's good. Why haven't you introduce me to Elvis until now?"

  "My apologies, I'll make you listen to his repertoire next weekend."

  "Good." Nova's eyes started to flutter shut. Solar started playing with her hair, singing along softly.

There's no place I'd rather be

Then on my surfboard out at sea
