after rewatching most of s2, I noticed that rafe always ends his sentences with “okay” for like reassurance or to see if they understand him and it honestly makes me feel bad. so may I request like the reader reassuring rafe? doesn’t matter the plot tbh

(it can angst-y or light hearted, i’m just in the mood to be sad😭)

It was getting exhausting being with Rafe. You loved him so much, but ever since all the shit with Ward went down he changed. All he cared about was the gold, Barry had started coming around more and the two of them would disappear for hours, days even. Then they’d come back and throw a party, get drunk and high off their asses, and Rafe would act like nothing was wrong in your relationship. Each time you tried talking to him about it, he’d just brush you off and tell you he was handling shit. But that wasn’t enough anymore, you couldn’t keep doing this with no proper explanation.

“Rafe” he’d come home late again, not even saying hello to you as he walked into your bedroom, pinning you down and kissing up and down your neck trying to take off your shirt. Acting like sex would magically fix whatever was going on, but not this time. He kept kissing up your neck, not paying any mind to your solemn tone.

“Rafe, stop” your hands moved to push him away, watching his face screw up in confusion. “What? What’s wrong?” how one person could be so oblivious was beyond you. What wasn’t wrong?

“We need to talk, please. I’m begging you to just talk to me” the pure pleading tone you spoke with broke his heart. He knew that he’d been absent, had been pushing you away, but talking about it made everything going on real, and making it real meant he had to deal with the emotions and consequences that came with that.

“Look, I-I’m trying to take care of us okay? I’m trying to take care of you” he rubbed at his temples frustrated, you didn’t understand. Why did nobody understand that he was just trying to take care of shit?

“But you take care of me other ways Rafe. Like when you acknowledge my existence as more than just sex on legs. When you actually talk to me and treat me like your girlfriend, when you take me on dates, when you come home and we take turns cooking dinner. That’s taking care of me” you shook your head, you knew this was a 50/50 scenario. He was going to either actually listen to you and the two of you would work on it, or pick a fight that would be the final blow to your already fragile relationship.

“No no no no…listen to me! I’m the one taking care of all this, me okay? Y-you just wouldn’t understand, you don’t know how much shit I have to deal with, how fucking hard it is” his voice was slightly raised now, standing in front of you pacing back and forth, but as soon as you flinched when he pointed his finger in your face, he broke.

Tears streaming down his face, sobs wracking his body making it hard for him to breathe, arms wrapping around you as he collapsed to the ground and placed his head in your lap. It broke your heart seeing him this way, seeing the strong tough exterior he put on finally crack, the way he was being so vulnerable with you. You placed your hands on his head, cradling it, telling him it was okay. You were here, he was okay, he could trust you.

“It’s too much. I don’t know how much more of this shit I can take” it came out muffled, but you heard. You swear you could hear your heart shatter.

“Then stop trying to do it alone. Stop trying to act like you’re okay, you’re not okay Rafe. It’s going to take time before everything is going to be alright, you just have to let me in Rafe, let me help you” he raised his head from your lap, his sad eyes staring directly into your pleading one’s

“Okay” it sounded so defeated, but also like relief. Relief he had someone who cared about him for once, who wanted to make sure he knew he wasn’t alone in this, who loved him enough to call out his bullshit.

You pulled him into a gentle kiss, hands cupping his cheeks as you felt him gently push you back into the bed. He crawled on top of you and peppered kisses down your jaw and neck before you pushed him away again.

“Let me take care of you tonight. Let me show you how much I love you” flipping the two of you over so you were now on top. Gently undoing the buttons on his shirt, you bent your head down to gently kiss the exposed skin.

“Going to make you feel so good baby. Help you forget all your problems tonight”

I don’t he’d notice quickly, but after a while he might catch on. Key word “Might.” I don’t think he’s very observant honestly. 

He’d notice how quiet you get and comment on it. He’d ask if you’re okay and try to cheer you up. He’d listen intently (try to anyway. He love him for it), nodding his head along. He would understand and say you’re not alone. 

That it’s normal for people to feel this way and everyone feels like that sometimes. Even him! 

He would hold out his arms and try for a hug. He’d squeeze you tightly and nuzzle his nose in your hair/neck/cheek/etc

He’s probably the best with jokes and making people feel better. He��d ask what he could do to help, if there’s anything, and try to do it immediately 💛

He’d write down some motivation quotes and add them to your work stuff with hopes you’ll see them. 💙

He would know immediately and he would try to help you the best he can.

He was drawing you. 

how could he not? Watching your intent face as you tried to sketch a bird was the most interesting thing he’d ever seen. Your ears flicked slightly when you made a mistake, nose scrunching as you erased the lines. 

His smile was consistent, looking from his sketchbook to your face. He tried not to turn his head so you wouldn’t get suspicious. He wanted to surprise you! 

After he had indulged in drawing your face, he realized he had no idea how to go about your ears. He knew the shape of rabbit ears, he just didn’t know the physics! How would he bring it to life, he wondered.

That was when a curious hand reached out, brushing against the soft surface in an attempt to understand it.

You jumped back, holding the part of your ear protectively as you stated at him with an absolutely incredulous expression. “What in pizza supreme do you think you’re doing!?” You analyzed his face for any form of malice, brows furrowed with anxiety. 

Mikey looked at how nervous you were, and felt Dr. Feelings come through a little as he thought through his next words. “I’m sorry, Y/n.” He spoke gently, a small smile gracing his lips as he gave you space, “I should have asked. I won’t do it again.” 

You were surprised at how calm he was— how quickly he accepted it as fact and just went back to drawing. He wasn’t offended? Even after you were snappy? 

Your nose twitched curiously, looking over at his sketchbook and coming face to face with yourself. 

he was.. drawing you! You!!

There was an excruciating amount of detail, as if he wanted to memorize every crease of your face— every muscle that moved and every mark that he thought was beautiful. 

You all but melted as you realized what he was trying to do, to — understand how you worked, He wanted to know more about you.

You leaned back into his side, sliding in a compliment about his art as he snuggled into your face, avoiding your ears with care. 

Raph 

Apologizes profusely.

You two were laying in what he called his “cuddle pile”, which was basically just all of his teddy bears and pillows in a huge mess of fluff. 

He had an arm lazily wrapped around your torso, head pressed into your shoulder as he churred gently. 

You chuckled as he snuggled in deeper, turning to give him a gentle kiss to whatever part of his face you could reach. You were simply sitting on your phone, scrolling mindlessly and showing him things you thought he would like. 

He was more than entertained with your presence, not to mention his drowsiness. He was at ease, which probably explained why his thoughts curiously wandered to those fluffy ears of yours. 

They just twitched ever so slightly when you laughed, it was adorable, and you had a little freckle on the inner side that he was dying to mention. 

the curiosity was innocent, but oh so tempting, and before he knew it- His finger barely grazed the soft fur. At the simple touch, you were already jumping out of your skin, accidentally kicking him in the process. You held the spot he touched and rubbed it aggressively, trying to get rid of the feeling. You were so overstimulated you couldn’t even say anything, it was such a light touch!! God that was uncomfortable!!!

Raph was completely taken aback, first of all, what happened? and second, you were able to actually kick him away!? He’s big boy!! 

“What’s wrong?” He asked quickly, then looked to where you tended to your droopy ear.

It clicked, and he let you regroup, trying to be as small as possible before he began rambling in apologies. 

“Raph didn’t mean to— he- I- don’t know what I was thinking—“ 

He hops between third and first person when he’s nervous, and he knows hes messed up. He begins explaining in a rush how he never wanted to scare you, and how he would never do it again. 

After wringing your hands out from the excess stimulation, You gently place your hand on his — a reminder that you weren’t made of glass. 

He seemed to pause, searching your eyes for any fear or anger. When he saw none, he let out a breath of relief. He cradled you in his arms, promising he would always listen when you were uncomfortable.

Even though you had no doubts.

Leo

Surprised it bugs you that much. 

On the couch, you both were talking over a movie you had seen a thousand times. 

It wasn’t anything different from your normal routine. He was making you laugh, you were rolling your eyes— he would say a character’s lines in a funny voice and you would respond by finishing the quote.

You two were always a very touchy-feely couple, (it’s a shock he hadn’t figured out about your ears sooner) so it was no surprise when you ended up in his lap, both of you laughing like there was no tomorrow. 

He went to lay his head on your shoulder, and by complete accident, brushed the side of your ear. A light touch, one he didn’t even think about, but you did.

You flinched away, giving an unhappy whine/grumble as you rubbed the feeling out of your fur. 

Leon’s brow bone raised, one of those looks he always does when he’s about to tease you. “You’re not— ticklish, are you?” 

“Please not this time.” You muttered, anxiously fidgeting where your fur and skin met. 

The blue-clad turtle paused, waiting for you to go on. He kept both curiosity and his wits about him, a little worried to be honest.

“You can tease me all you want on anything else—“ you said quickly, squeezing your eyes shut, “this just.. makes me anxious.”

Leo thought for a moment, analyzing your sincere form. He didn’t like when you were upset, it made him upset, the way your face melded into a frown felt so wrong to him. 

Sure, he didn’t understand why you didn’t like your ears being touched, but all that mattered was that you didn’t like it!! And he had to turn this around. 

Out of the darkness, he suddenly got an idea— an idea that would bring your smile back. His eyes lit up for a moment, before returning to their confident gaze. 

“Anything…?” He smirked, pulling you back into his lap— this time facing him. 

You quickly realized your mistake, attempting to protest before being reduced to a fit of flustered giggles as he snuggled into the fur of your neck, attacking you with love despite your cries for mercy.

Donnie

Understands completely.

You two had been dating for approximately one week, (Donnie confirmed) and he knew he’d fallen head over heels. 

Because of this, he had to make sure you were comfortable so there were no surprise arguments between the two of you. Comparatively— even though he states it awkwardly, He’s way better at communicating than most of his brothers (cough Leo and Raph COUGH)

So, when he sits you down in front of him, staring intensely at you with an aura of absolute seriousness— you thought he was mad at you!!! 

“Alright, um—“ he coughed, mentally scolding himself for the unconfident start. 

“You and I— our relationship,” 

he’s stalling

you’re panicking.

“I want to discuss— a means of um— boundaries.” He holds back a sigh of relief at finally getting the words out. You looked so invested In what he was saying that he could swear he was gonna topple over. 

You, however, gladly let go of the breath you were holding. “Oh— thank god..” you smiled, “I thought you were breaking up with me.” 

“What??” He gives an incredulous look, “Why ever would I do that!?” He’s acting level headed, but inside he’s screaming. 

In any case.

You shyly described that the only thing you could think of off the top of your head was how sensitive your ears and tail were. “It makes me anxious when people touch them.” You muttered, fiddling with the ends of said ears. 

Donnie simply nodded, “it’s the same with me and my shell.” He states, gesturing to the technology usually on his back 24/7. He didn’t make a big deal of it, simply wrote “no touchie ears/tail” up on the whiteboard under “concrete boundaries” 

He paused, stepping back for a moment, “Wait— sorry, did you want me to ask or just not touch them at all?” He quirked a brow, and you shook your head, feeling a lot more confident in stating your feelings. 

You had hardly ever felt more validated.

I do have a question? How come nobody thought to kill Eris before? like don’t get me wrong Eris is hot and everything but if I were in either Milo’s or Ryan’s Position Eris would just have to die Sawwry!

Like, wouldn’t it kinda just, suck? I mean, someone you dated toys with you, plays with and abuses you and abandons you then replaces you, I’d personally be pretty livid tbh! even if they didn’t proceed to gaslight me and manipulate me to their will like??? I know Ryan has presumably caused people to die before. But with everything Eris did, manipulative him abuse him abandon him why didn’t he just swap the drugs out with arsenic?

Then there’s Milo, I get that he’s deluded and in love in every other route, but his actions in the kidnapper route are pretty understandable honestly, IIRC both in the marriage ending and the kidnapping ending Milo is fully aware that Eris used and disposed of Ryan, causing him to act out and yeah that’s kinda fair, Eris is bad, (hot) but I would’ve had them in the dirt if I was in Either of those positions lmaooo 😭😭😭 I’m shocked they really just let Eris live???? (cool game btw)

That is a good question. The answer is mostly plot armor because if Eris dies before the game starts there won’t really be a game lol. And I dunno I think that death would be too good for Eris honestly.

However, I think that Eris always chooses people who can’t oppose them in the end. The choice to choose Milo and compromise him in a bad decision was calculated on their part so it is possible that Ryan also suffered a similar fate. The other reason is I think that killing Eris would be like opening a Pandora’s box. Considering how much Eris seems to plan ahead, it wouldn’t be surprising if they had something terrible that may happen if they were to be killed. It’s like killing a tyrant - the people may be freed but the power vacuum would cause more suffering through wars and trying to reclaim that position. Sometimes you don’t know what was good until you lose it. At least that’s what I think.

I think for Ryan specifically, he knows what kind of person Eris is and is just scared of what might happen to not only him but possibly anyone he might care about. I think Eris might also be able to tell if he did swap it out just by the look on Ryan’s face. They were dating after all so they likely know each other pretty well.

With Milo even besides the fact that, you know, yandere, I think that Eris is usually pretty calculating on how they release information. So anything that can be used against them will be brought back ten fold. If I was cool and clever I would think of what those things might be ( likely finding a way to frame Milo or Ryan on things that they did or otherwise will do), but I am not that cool or calculating so we will just have to use our imaginations.

Other than that, Eris is either really lucky or really strategic in the way that they get people to do what they want. Maybe both, they do say that it’s always the evil people that live the longest.

What they did to the Velaryons in general doesn’t sit well with me at all. Specially that they are the family they chose to make black and then turned them into motivationless, spine- brainless pushovers to smile and stand by Rhaenyra’s side for no reason.

None of them makes sense as characters; the way he is characterized Corlys ( who is supposed to be an ambitious man, sure of himself, and a force to be reckoned with ) never would have excepted Rhaenyra selling Luke off as the true heir and definitely would’ve had something to say about Deamon slighting their families honor by killing his brother . 

Rheanys is completely ruined as a character, honestly, she’s worse than Rhaenyra when it comes to hypocrisy. The scene between her and Alicent is so stupid It’s out of this world. She’s supposed to be this bad ass person, but she again is such a terrible push over, for Corlys, Rhaenyra and literally everyone. There’s not a single moment where she stands up for herself, and what she thinks is right ( her daughter is being robbed from their inheritance would’ve been a perfect moment ). And don’t even get me started on that brainless terrorist attack that she did.

And also when it comes to Rheana and Beala, I can’t fathom how people do not see  how traumatizing Deamon and Rhaenyra’s actions must’ve been for them. ( I mean, having Deamon as a parent is trauma enough ) After the death of their mother they are given absolutely no emotional support from their father, and are dumped on their grandparents like used goods while their father tries to find the way to fuck his niece at her funeral. And then Deamon and Rhaenyra make Leanor, the only family that they have left from their mothers side fake his death. Like, are you good???

And then they marry each other like the next day ( by the way, the faces of the children during the seen were so genuinely disgusted ) and chose to SEPARATE the two of them.

( and again, in relation to the Velaryons as a whole, that must’ve been such a slap in the face)

And then years later they are back together again and see their father kill another member of their family and denounce their rights and inheritance and they’re like… yay

And honestly the “ chemistry” they try to force between them and the strong boys was so  unconvincing. It very much gave “ when your mom forces you to hang out with the weird neighbors kid “ vibes. And honestly it’s such a shitty deal, why should they be happy? 

And their supposed admiration for Rhaenyra makes me want to rip my hair out. This woman turned their lives into hell and showed them their fathers true colors. 

They turn this whole badass family in a bunch of nonsensical whims that have zero motivation or self respect. It’s so frustrating.



Tbh… and it could be bc I watched the show before reading the book, frankly find the book bad (i don’t understand how the so called book purist wanted a ‘direct’ adaptation of whatever that mess is). The Velaryons as a whole seemed kind of… not bright 😭. And that could be bc the person at the time who ran the house, corlys, is a subpar poltical mind.

In the book rhaena and baela get betrothed to luke and jace at the age of two. They genuinely never stood a chance in either scenario imo. And at every turn it sort seems like the people who are supposed to care for them undermine their happiness.

I think throwing their support in for Rhaenyra in general was a dumb idea started by yeah you guessed it Corlys. He makes wrong moves in the book and the show, and his house essentially falters because of it.

Corlys isn’t a family man, and frankly I don’t think he cares all that much about anything as long as him/his blood are in power. Like most men during that time. He could’ve passed the line through Baela. He says no bc he knows that would call into question Luke’s parentage. Then in turn jace’s parentage, and in turn question Rhaenyra’s actions. Meaning laenor being king consort was a mute point. He doesn’t care about his family’s safety. He proved that multiple times over.

He has another chance to have either Baela or rhaena take over, and instead his bastards (who if we go by the book he has with a literal teenager) get legitimized and take over. Like he quite literally petitioned to Rhaenyra so addam and alyn could be heirs to driftmark.

They are written like pushovers bc frankly that is what they are (in the show and book). Rhaenyra’s cheerleaders and fleet till she, in a state of paranoia, kicks them to the curb. What is the point of being ambitious if you are also foolish 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ok to answer your tags. flynn is way too active (involved with the self/ self serving) and way too good at self care to be a seer. (also the idk about you until we've hung out enough and then i'll die for you but i'll never tell you but that's another thing entirely)

a good example of echo project seer would be cameron wilson from arches vn (seer of doom, dersite) or dave halloway (seer of time prospit)

Flynn just has too much of the akward cohabitation with his aspect too much of self imposed rules. and not enough of trying to foster pseudo mage like traits into other to be a seer.

altough yes you are right flynn is the ragest bitch to have ever raged. (you could argue that flynn ending and him spectatulary failing at self care by getting himself killed is a seerish trait. but the devil is in the details. seer hurts themselves with their opposite aspect. by misfiring their twin witch impulse (especially the women) terezi had relationship problems rose was alcoholic etc....

Mage get burned by their primary aspect while gaining instinctive non scholar insigth about it. (flynn get burned by rage when his fury against secrets and lie as well as general skepticism led him to be burned in the mine, murdoch get burned by blood with his abusive familly situation)

i always had a hard time conceptualizing / understanding the mage class- like, i understood they suffer from their aspect in some way and in the process gain intuitive knowledge about it, but that was the extent of my understanding.

seers too- like, lmao now that i’m thinking about it i think i had an even looser grasp on seers than i had on mages! i didnt even know about the twin witch impulse stuff, or the stuff about fostering psuedo mages

Omgosh Hia!!! Tis a great and grand day, so for once I’m not sulking for NJ angst, or anything about Jersey actually. I wish to see some of that good good Texas angst, you know, for the funnsies! (Gosh this sounds so modern lolz, normally I don’t modern slang. Anyways we won against Texas tonight so that’s the whole reason for this XD)

I’m gonna out these under the cut tho, just in case.

Texas has some nerve damage in his eye and side, which is where he happened to have been given two star scars, courtesy of Mexico’s A+ parenting.

He’s VERY insecure about the tiny bit of pudge that he has. He doesn’t care that it’s not that much or that he can’t help it. He hates it. And he’s tried starving it away a few times, but he never got that far. Someone just hold and kiss the poor thing 😭

He’s ambidextrous, but he doesn’t use his left hand. Why? Well. Growing up, being left handed or using his left hand was forbidden. So um. Yeah his left hand was broken multiple times throughout his life (or at least until it wasn’t forbidden anymore) and now he either can’t feel his hand or he can feel it way too much. And it on days where he can feel it, it hurts A LOT. But he still uses it. Oh! And his hand is really shaky and tbh, I’m not sure that it healed right.

I feel like he definitely has a bunch of branding on him from when Mexico owned him.

This mf can handle A LOT of pain, or at least he’ll make it look like it cuz yknow. He doesn’t want to be scene as weak.

A vast majority of the deaths hes had were absolutely BRUTAL. And painful in most cases too. Even if they were somewhat quick deaths. Safe to say that anyone present needed new pants after.

^at least three of them were from him getting his torso crushed, and he now has a LOT of nerve damage and chronic pain in his back and torso. Mostly his back. And there’s a bunch of scarring too.

^lets not forget about Confederate repeatedly slamming him into a wall (or tree I can’t remember) until he went unconscious.

Listen- for each of his lives no matter what parents he got, he’s gone to church. And honestly, Texas was probably part of the worship team (basically the band that sings the music for non denominational and Pentecostal churches) for a LOT of them. And he absolutely LOVED it. He loved being a part of those teams with other cool people and being able to sing and all that. BUT. A lot of times, the church’s and/or his parents’ views ruined it for him and he kinda dislikes it now. And he’s trans and bisexual too so- r.i.p.

He’s the type to start dissociating when he gets yelled at and go completely nonverbal. He hates it but. He hates being yelled at more.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Texas loves cuddles, and he loves hugs, but. He CANNOT. I repeat. CANNOT. Handle having his arms and/or legs restrained from moving, since he can’t defend himself and he has no idea who has intentions of hurting him or not.

He also CANNOT handle being approached on his blind side. He might panic. He will freeze up. He can’t see whoever approached him, and he doesn’t know who they are or what their intentions are.

^and because I must, PA is an asshole and finds joy in scaring other states, mainly the bigger "tougher" states like Texas, so sometimes he’ll just sneak up on Texas on his blindside and yell "boo!" or smth. They usually end of fighting after since Texas is the type to resort to "fight" in the event that someone scares him. So um. Yeah.

is it just me or has anyone noticed how some engenes just move so weird towards sunoo? like I have just finished watching en o clock ep.76 and I went to check the comments and so many engenes wrote comments including every member but sunoo and this is not the first time it's happened... sigh, don't even get me started on the mistreatment sunoo faces from his company alone.. like did you know that he went only to 3 outside of group promotions in the whole year of 2023?? 😭😭😭 the second member who had the least amount of promotions is jay and even then he has had 6 promotions meaning double the amount.. this is in no way me hating the members, no ofc not! I love them all but we're almost 4 years into their career yet sunoo still gets the short end of the stick, I'm honestly so tired, I can't imagine what noonoo feels...

naur bc i kinda noticed the same thing lately… it’s a weird feeling bc lately I feel like ppl either don’t mention him, or when they do it’s to drag other members for supposedly “leaving him out” or for “not taking care of him” and it gets frustrating at times… bc most of the ppl who say this are solo sunoo stans who insist on infantilising him, or just ppl who want an excuse to hate on the group… so finding ppl who genuinely praise him for being HIMSELF these days is hard ☹️ but going back to sunoo’s treatment, it’s actually baffling how he’s treated by the company… like the fact that he’s mentioned on live that he wishes he could do a cover but despite being one of the group’s best vocalists, the company rarely gives him the opportunity to showcase his talents?? and the same goes for the whole group as a whole tbh which is frustrating seeing that they went through hell and back in I-land to debut and still aren’t being given the chance to shine properly 🤧 and lately too, idk if it’s just me, but he seems so… quiet?? these days… like not that’s a bad thing or anything and i don’t want to assume bc i don’t know him personally, and it could just be that he’s growing up and maturing and changing like people tend to do…. but whatever the reason is, i just hope that he’s doing okay… even if i don’t know him personally, he’s been a source of joy for so many people, and he deserves to be filled with genuine joy ☹️🩷🩷🩷

Hey all!

I’m sure you’ve noticed Che’nya and I haven’t been active much on here lately.

That would be because the Cheshire household has caught the sneezing pig-baby flu. Che’nya is coughing, grunting, and turning pink as I type this. 🐽

To make matters worse, not only are Che’nya and I sick, but the Duchess’s Cook (my mother) is sick as well, and she has it even worse than us. So as the least sick in the household we are trying to take care of her while also trying to take care of us. Taking care of the sick while you are also sick is terrible, just for the record.

But I’m sure after a few days rest Che’nya will be back to his more cat-like features and characteristics and I personally won’t feel like trampled mud. 😭😭😭

Seriously though, OOC, while I am off and on tumblr, I just do not have the energy to really interact too much tbh. And even though I am getting on, it’s not nearly as much as usual, because I am sleeping quite a bit, as one usually does when they are sick. My mother and I are thinking it’s the flu, but we honestly don’t know because she is a kindergarten teacher and her classroom is a Petri dish 🧫🔬 because of all the tiny, sick children. So who knows, really.

Either way, right now, I am just focusing on resting and trying to get better. Sorry for being so absent here.

thoughts on loki ships? since the scarlet witch #8 cover came out (ngl the art is really good) i’ve seen people complaining about it and saying things like “it should’ve been amora” and tbh i don’t see the appeal in loki and amora together 😭 (maybe i need more context or someone to explain it) but idk why so many fans are so pressed, also, when will they give us loki kissing a man 😩 it’s far more overdue than him and amora imo

i'm not super into most canon loki ships, honestly. i 100% understand the appeal of most of them, but they don't really click for me. i get why people ship them, i just. don't

i think if i had to choose, it would be Lorelei or Sigurd, but that's just because i enjoy those characters individually and not because i find much entertainment from the thought of a romantic relationship between them and loki.

i'd love to see how this wanda thing goes. fingers crossed that it's toxic /hj (i do love me some absolute trainwrecks). but i'm not so sure it'll make me lose my mind like ships in some other fandoms do.

overall, i'm not really particularly interested in shipping. i don't really care either way when loki is and isn't in relationships in the comics. i think some of the only ships in media that i'm invested in are loustat, lumax, and bubbline (and winterwidow through osmosis of my girlfriend) but that's as far as the list really goes

I really liked this chapter!! It was angsty but not in like a bad way??? Like it was a hopeful angst hahaha!

This definitely makes up for Dieters behaviour! I hope Talia doesn’t blame herself too much tho because while yes, she could’ve helped him earlier. But it’s also not her responsibility to make sure his doctors are doing the right things? And she also has to take care of her own mental health. So I don’t blame her for not doing anything. It’s a complicated situation!

tbh, I think this was kinda the worst time to really introduce Lauren and Alex’s relationship because with everything with Dieter, I just don’t really care about them? lmao it’s kinda like “yeah good for them but is Dieter okay?????”

That moment with Talia and Dieter just made me 🥺🥺😭😭 he just wants to come home 😭😭 like actually broke my heart. I just wanna wrap him in a snuggly blanket and hug him. (Can we make him a mental health hospital basket? Like fluffy socks and chocolates and a little stuffed bear that smells like home…🥺😂)

And it suuuuucks that all this happened and that Dieter will have to go through all this now but it’s also good because he needs this and sometimes the good things are so fucking hard. But they’ll be worth it in the end and Dieter (and Talia) deserve all the good things 🥺

I can’t wait to see Dieter learning all the healthy coping mechanisms and therapy tricks (i feel like he’s gonna be so proud of himself that he’s shyly gonna tell people the things his therapist said helps. 🥺)

Aaaaaaaah I’m just so freaking soft for him and I just want him to be happy and healthy!!!! I already can’t wait to read the next chapter, I love this story sooooo muuuuuuch!!! (thanks for the update and we love you!!)

I am happy to hear you enjoyed this chapter! It was indeed a rough one. It defiantly brought back some not-so-great memories for me. The conversation between D and Talia was loosely based off real conversations I have had with two people in my life. Neither of which were easy. So, if you felt some realism to it, that is most likely why.

Oh you know Talia is totally going to be hard on herself about how she handled the whole situation. Especially now that she admits she hasn't been handling her emotions well either. Everything she has kept locked away is about to bust out with a vengeance, forcing her to finally deal with her issues too... and I do mean everything. Not just the things related to D. So, here is my thinking behind the Lauren and Alex reveal...Was it ideal? Absolutely not, but neither is life. Alex was obviously going to be there for his brother. It's inevitable. Alex & Lauren were already together when Gabby called, and they came to the hospital together. Lauren, of course, wanted to be there to support D, Talia, Gabby, and Alex. It's hard to support the person you are in love with while pretending you are not a couple. In my mind, during situations like this, all of the trivial stuff like that kind of goes out the window so that you can be there for the people you love. Honestly, their relationship was probably the last thing on their mind in the middle of the panic that Gabby's call would have brought on. To be fair, they didn't announce it...Gabby and Talia just kind of figured it out. It really was a heartbreaking moment... and it isn't even that he wanted to go home. He wanted to be with Talia, wherever she was. He just wants them to be together again in their little bubble. She is home to him.

It does suck that he has spiraled so hard. It helps to see the good in it though. It is going to force both D and Talia to get the help they need so they can have their happily ever after.

Given that you feel that is how he will be about his recovery, I think you will enjoy the ending that I have planned for these two. 😉 At this point, I think we all want to hug and snuggle D. I am sure he wouldn't be opposed to a gift basket. Maybe a stuffed raccoon (that smells like Talia) and some kit-kats would make things a little easier on him? Thanks for reading!
