There's been a lot of medical issues this year. Family, friends, pets and self. I won't really get into it, as most of the really notable stuff has been mentioned here before But I did wanna say, it's made me think More so, I recently became a fan of a particular YouTuber, and they've made me think. They're very upbeat, positive, supportive and kind to their community. Despite some fairly serious health issues.

And it's made me realize, that most things. I can't stop. I can't stop disease and death. And dwelling, drives you a little crazy It's oddly good for you to not think about what you can't fix. And this YouTuber's been helping take my mind off such. Which, reminded me a little of my roots Which I also won't get into. But I've noticed people need two things in these situations To be allowed to feel. To be accepted that hardships affect them. That it's okay. And distractions. Things to look forward to. To be told it's okay. Some things suck, cut-blank. But, that's alright. Because everything keeps going. It's hard, and that's okay to admit. Being strong, moving on, even being brave doesn't mean what many have made it seem. If it wasn't scary, you wouldn't be brave. If it wasn't heavy, you wouldn't be strong. And moving on, doesn't mean not processing grief. It means feeling it, but still continuing on. Bad things give perspective. Helps us enjoy the good. It's easy to drown in darkness. Which is why it's so important to take time. To allow happiness. As well as time to feel both

I firmly believe we often have more power in situations than we first think. We just need to see a different angle But others, we can't. So do what you need to get through. Because I know you can. I know you will

Jack: Mr. Manager… Oh, wait, I mean, Mr. Project Leader. Thank you for your hard work. It's getting pretty crowded here, huh.

Restaurant Manager: Yep. Looks like some of your schoolmates, and other early morning customers all have been posting stuff on Magicam.

Restaurant Manager: Everyone who saw the ads for the food stands, or the pictures of the Port fest, are coming over to the venue in droves.

Restaurant Manager: Kind of feels like most of the people who live here on Sage's Island are all gathered here, doesn't it? It's really spectacular.

Jack: So everythin's going smoothly so far, then. Glad it's getting heated up already.

Restaurant Manager: Yeah. There haven’t been any huge issues yet, either. There's only been a couple instances of people looking for the lost and found.

Jack: Lost and found… Oh, right. On the way here, I found a stuffed goat plush and a keychain shaped like a rudder…

Jack: And, I also picked up a real paper-thin wallet that smelled of perfume, so I brought that too.

Restaurant Manager: Thanks. I don't think… Yeah, neither of these have been reported missing. I'll keep them here at headquarters until the owners arrive.

Restaurant Manager: By the way, how is your food stand doing? Think you guys'll make any money?

Jack: Yessir! Just a little bit ago, we even had a long line of people waitin'!!

Jack: That's why I tried to help take orders too, but…

Restaurant Manager: Hm? What's wrong? You seem a little deflated.

Jack: I think I scared the customer a bit. I was just trying to serve them just like everyone else was…

Restaurant Manager: Gahahah! That's true, you don't really have any sociability, and you're huge and intimidating, y'know!

Jack: Hey, don't laugh! I'm hoping to be able to get a little better at it, at least before this Port Fest ends.

Jack: At your restaurant, I did a ton of heavy lifting, and helped out around the kitchen, yeah…

Jack: But now I wished that I had also waited on customers on the main floor

Restaurant Manager: I get that you want to have as much experience as possible. But honestly, I don't think it's really that important for you to force yourself to be friendly, or anything.

Jack: Huh?

Restaurant Manager: I've hired many students part-time over the years, but you're probably the only one who was never late or absent without notice.

Jack: That's how it should be, no one should be late or absent without sayin' anything.

Restaurant Manager: And also, you always took the initiative to help restock seasonings, and carry the delivered ingredients to the warehouse.

Jack: Well, yeah, because I was there to do that kind of work...

Restaurant Manager: Hahahah! So, yeah, that's why I chose you as the leader for the committee, because I believed in you.

Restaurant Manager: Also…

???: Hey, y'all're in my way, move!!

???: Excuse you, don't cut the line!!! We've been waiting in line for four hours now!

Jack: Looks like something's going on over near the ship stage. I'll be right back!

Restaurant Manager: Whenever Jack was on shift, we never had to deal with any customers that would raise their voice or start a fight.

Restaurant Manager: If that guy's around, this kind of trouble is sure to be solved quickly. He really is a reliable kid.

Jack: Woah, this is a huge crowd. I gotta hurry and find whoever was yelling earlier.

Jack: Excuse me, I'm a member of the Port Fest executive committee. Please make way!

Female Attendee A: Ugh, I just can't believe it! We've been waiting in line since this morning to get the best seats to watch the show…

Male Attendee A: Hah, you just won't stop yammering! Just calm down and wait for the show to start, already!!

Jack: I hear some arguments all the way at the front of the line… Is that loud guy the one who cut everyone waiting?

Attendees: That's right! We were all waiting as we should, and he just…

Male Attendee A: WHADDYA SAY!? BETTER NOT BE SLINGING LIES ABOUT ME OVER THERE!!

Attendees: Urgh…

Jack: Not only does he cut the line, but then he has the nerve to threaten everybody… Does that guy have no common sense at all?

Jack: Hey, you. If you want to watch the show, go back to the end of the line.

Male Attendee A: No way. It's these idiots' fault for letting themselves get cut off.

Jack: Haah? No way it's the fault of the ones you cut off. If you're gonna keep causing a fuss, I'm gonna have to bring you back to the committee headquarters!!

Male Attendee A: Ugh, shut up alrea… Eeek!? S-Sorry!! It was all my bad, I'll go to the back of the line right now!!

[runs away]

Jack: What the hell was that? He just took one glance at my face, then ran away with his tail tucked between his legs. He shoulda just listened in the first place.

Female Attendee A: That was so intense! Thank you, Mr. Committee Member, sir! Thanks to you, I'll be able to cheer on my friend's performance from the front row!

Attendees: You did great! / That was so cool～!

Jack: I-I was just doing my job… Damn, even the restaurant manager is grinning at me from over there.

Jack: Th-There might be some other issues goin' on in the area. Guess I'll go make my rounds elsewhere.

Jack: Okay… Looks like there no troubles around the stage area other than that one guy jumping the line earlier.

Jack: All that's left is for me to do one more glance around the food stands and I should be done.

Jack: It'd be great if nothing happens…

Jack: A pickpocket!? Damn, one thing after another.

OMG Y'ALL DID IT 🥰🤯💜

I cannot believe all the support we've gotten in such a short time. I know I must sound like a broken record, but it's only because y'all have shown out for our little channel in such a big way, and SpecificPixel and I really can't put words around how grateful we are. Y'all're incredible!

We've already been planning something to celebrate when we hit this milestone, so now I guess I have to tell you what it is, lol: Pixel and I will be doing a charity marathon sometime in June, where I (and maybe he??) will be playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past all the way through...but randomized! Neither of us has ever played a randomizer before, so hopefully this'll be a lot of fun.

We're still working out the specifics, like donation incentives and a final donation goal, but we've already reached out to the Video Game History Foundation (our charity of choice) and they're on board! If you have any incentive ideas, let us know in the comments and we'll be happy to consider them along with whatever our Patreon folks suggest. Depending on how long it takes, there might be a second game and so on, as well, since we could get a really good seed and crush the game in a few hours. I'll post more here, on Patreon, and on YouTube as we hammer out the date and stuff.

Hope y'all're havin' a good Munday. I know I am. Or, I was!

Did you know: if you take an entire deceased mallard your friend gives you, and you put it in yer bin of dermested beetles, them little fellers'll go right to munchin? Well, they do! They love'em some birdmeat. The thing is, I should'a gutted the creature first, but in a drunken haze, I plumb forgot! [Read: got blackout drunk and probably just didn't GAF at the time].

The thing about that is, once them little buggos start nommin' on the duckie, it starts to make a smell. A smelly smell, if you get my drift. And that smell will PERMEATE. I'm talkin' all the clothes you have in that room with that putrid piece of paddler will STINK. It's best to keep your work clothes in a different room. Even the room with the dang ol' kitty litter box, because Whoo-Eee! Even cat piss smells better'n "Eaude de Roadkill".

Whelp, that's our Advice-O-The-Day, so have yerselves a good rest of your evening and sees y'all's soon!

Magnus and Cayde invite Crow and Anthem over to see the baby one day. They get the house all nice and neat, and suddenly, the door rings.

Magnus answers, and smiles.

Anthem smiles back warmly, but Crow holds his arm hesitantly. He's always nervous around Cayde... Both are invited inside, and enter.

Suddenly, Cayde rushes up to Crow, Ace in his arms, and says, "Oh my Traveler, here, take him! I'm so tired!" Suddenly, Ace is placed in Crow's arms, and the Awoken Hunter hesitates even more as he's now cradling a baby Eliksni so gently, so scared.

Crow looks into Ace's many eyes, and finds himself reflected in their shininess. And he is afraid. Afraid he's going to mess up, afraid he's going to do something wrong, and upset Cayde, but when he sees those eyes, and hears the little coos, Ace reaches up with all four arms and touches Crow, who then smiles, and knows everything is going to be ok.

Cayde's tired eyes form with his smile, and he says, "Aww, he loves you!! You're going to be a great cousin!!"

Crow stops dead in his tracks. "Cousin??"

"Well, yeah!" says Cayde. "Anthem's the uncle!"

"Now hold on, cowboy. I didn't agree to no uncle position," Anthem says.

"You did by coming in here," Magnus argues.

Anthem sighs, chuckling. "Damnit. Should've known you'd do somethin' like this, boys. Y'all're doin' yer old man in." He walks to Crow, and puts an arm around his boy's shoulders. "Yeah, yer a great cousin alright. Holdin' Ace so gently..." He kisses Crow. "C'mon. Let's sit with Cayde and Magnus."

Everyone takes a seat on the couch. They catch up, and all the while, Crow is just smiling happily, holding baby Ace. He couldn't be more proud.

Ace then starts crying. Loudly. Crow looks at Magnus, eyes wide. "Did... I do something wrong?" he asks.

Magnus chuckles, shaking his head. "No. Not at all," he replies. He walks over, taking Ace from Crow's arms. "He just needs a diaper change and some Ether, that's all."

Crow nods, smiling as Magnus walks off to the bathroom.

Anthem nudges his son's side, and grins. "Yer amazing. Ya know that?"

"Thanks, Dad." Crow leans against Anthem, closing his eyes, and hugs him.

"Awwww!!" says Cayde. "I wish I had a dad now..."

"Ya missed yer chance with me, kid!" Anthem laughs.

"Not with you I didn't," Crow says. "Hell, don't forget who taught you how to be a Hunter!"

"Oh, I ain't forgotten that a day in my life, kid," Anthem says. "Yer amazing. Thank ya for all ya given me."

Now, Cayde smiles.

A moment later, Magnus returns with Ace, and a bottle full of Ether. He holds it up to Ace, who begins suckling on it. The Awoken Titan sits down, and smiles. He looks at everyone else, smiling, laughing, being together. It's just what he wanted. Just what he needed. Everything he could have hoped for.

It's one big, happy family.
