my top bit of advice going into the new year: compliment people. especially strangers. literally everyone you interact with if you can. when you buy coffee in the morning compliment the barista's tattoos. when you're chatting with a coworker tell them that by the way you like their outfit. always find something they've chosen to do on purpose. nail polish, jewellery, tattoos, hair colour/style, statement accessory, outfit, etc are all good bets. things people hope will be noticed. things that aren't too personal so it doesn't make them uncomfortable (eg probably not their physical features). i've gotten into the habit of scanning everyone i talk to for something about them that i think is cool so i can tell them. it's a great habit because it makes me notice people and realise just how many neat little details there are in people's presentation of themselves that might pass me by if i wasn't paying attention. and it brings out so much joy. you'd be surprised how much it disarms people to receive an unexpected compliment from someone they don't know. it is the most sincere smile you will see all day long. it feels nice to make people happy but it also means you win the social interaction. establish dominance by complimenting a stranger's earrings and disappearing into the fog

yk when you see someone share a finished handmade item that they clearly spent a lot of time and money on and it's just. The absolute tackiest thing you have seen in your life. And then you ask yourself why someone would waste all those resources on such an eyesore.
(no, of course you can't relate to that because you're a much nicer person than me)
In any case.
BEHOLD!
A wool coat!
The top fabric is handwoven and handspun, the whole thing is sewn by hand, too.
Leftovers. Barely anything, all things considered, which is very satisfying.
This thing took me well over 3 years to make, on and off. And now I'm done.
Thank you for your attention.

A certain little space boy has hidden ducks in Archer's room. Good luck finding them! There's a total of fifteen in the room.
Something was amiss.
In life the red bowman had grown to trust his instincts to know when his room had been tampered with even without the necessity of setting up a boundary field. There was no outright indication that anyone has been to his room but he could say something was off. A few steps inside and a yellow duck staring at him right from the table as if it had always been there was almost defying him.
Find us.
It said without words.
I dare you.
The reticent Archer almost felt offended by how bold it was. Out of all possible culprits for such childish prank there was only one possibility that crossed his mind.
❝ Voyager. ❞ he breathed, a smile forming his lips soon after ❝ I suppose I should get all my ducks in a row and get to quack this case. I must say, he can be a wise quacker. ❞
It was a matter of pride for him to find them all. The duck puns are a bonus.
