what would they look like as villains? I know that some have canonical versions, but I would like to see your intropritation (let's be honest, for most - the evil alterego is an exact copy, but only with a slightly modified color palette and frowning eyebrows)

oh, this was a wonderful ask to get on the eve of spooky month ;D im not god at villain (re)design but it was a fun thinking exercise! (also im assuming you were asking about HoMies xD so)

I mean, there is only so much one can do to remake protagonists into villains and yet still have them remain recognizable, so no wonder evil!versions often are just recolor/frowny sort, but I tried my best to be creative ;D

(and your english is alright! no worries)

also while you can imagine them being as villanous as you want in these designs, there are some little blurbs/backstories i made up for myself as I tried to design them, if you are interested (they are various shades of dark, since you know, tragic backstory and all that lol):

Kim Possible - Hero for Hire turned Mercenary for Money - Kim is widely known for her profeciency in hand-to-hand and quick thinking when on the jobs, but one time something went terribly wrong. Maybe client info was unreliable, or a freak accident, but as the result both Kim and Ron got hurt, leaving Ron in a hospital permanently, and Kim with scars and trauma. After that the girl who worked on favors and rides lost her trust/belief in goodness of people, becoming jaded by reality of a job she accidently found herself in. Kim changed into someone very cold and calculated, someone who started taking jobs that required using serious weapons instead of gadgets, and more importantly getting paid, so she could support her best friend (who is in coma and thus unable to influence this downwards spiral Kim find herself in).

(in contrast to canon!Kim's free flowing hair, she ties it back in order to never be distracted in crucial moment. has a lot of new scars due to more dangerous jobs. i still cant decide if she kills with her weapons or not, but she certainly learned to hurt people. also a very complicated relationship with Shego, since Kim is also a mercenary now, but Shego still remembers that girl she was and is conflicted about this new Kim)

Danny Fenton/Phantom - Ghostly Hero turned Ice Prince - s3e6 Urban Jungle turned out differently, when in the end, defeating Undergrowth, meant also hurting everyone he had been connected to at that moment (level of hurt depends on your preference for angst i guess lol), but anyway, Danny horrified by what he have done (and with memory of Dan still haunting him), still technically unstable with his Ice Powers, flees back into the Ghost Zone to the one place he knows he won't be able to hurt anyone. Sequestering himself in the Far Frozen, he goes full Elsa, and become a remote Ice Prince, that even Far Frozen Yetis are still nervous around, with his only contact being Frostbite. Slowly he wastes away, freezing from his powers not only physically but also like emotionally.

(fun (?) tidbit: fur on his new snow cape/coat is from yetis, unfortunate to wander too close to ice prince. so there are a bunch of partially bald yetis in far frozen lol. Danny is constantly covered in bits of ice and frost, since his ice powers are unstable due to emotional damage. Danny's crown is not a conscious choice, but rather a manifestation of Far Frozen starting to bond with Danny's ice core to become his lair and also sort of recognizing Danny as future Ghost King.)

Jake Long - American Dragon Guardian turned Corrupted by Dark Magic Dragon - Series Finale The Hong Kong Longs, ended differently, when Dark Dragon left a parting shot before he was inprisoned for another Millennium. Since meeting Jake, Dark Dragon has been interested in aquiring him as minion/apprentice(?), and had been steadily trying to sway him to his side. But as he lost he made a last ditch attempt, infecting Jake with Dark Magic. As the result, Jake now cannot control his Dragon Form, being steadily consummed by the Darkness and turning more Draconic as time passes, until he will become full Dragon all the time and under the thrall of Darkness. The change is harsh and as the result Jake falls into violent moments during which he hurt his loved ones that fight to keep him from changing. In one of his more lucid moments, Jake flees to hide away in order not to hurt anyone.

(it seems an interesting thought to expand on the possiblity that the Dragon form can overwhelm the human part and that it would associate with dark magic to succumb to its baser instincts, and also would be a great opening to all those wonderful draconic fan headcanons fandom made about Jake lol)

Ben Tennyson - Hero Wielder of Omnitrix turned Corrupted/Hacked Ultimatrix Unstable User - During Alien Force Ben tried multiple times to hack/meddle with Omnitrix settings, and when he continuously tried the same with Ultimatrix in Ultimate Alien, something has gone wrong. Ultimatrix has bonded deep into Ben's DNA and body, and now every change is felt acutely, not to mention the alien perceptions are now unfiltered and Ben recieves the raw experience of being a different speices/state. It comes to a point when it start to mess with his mind, only made worse by Dagon's reemergence and all the enemies. In the final showdown of Ultimate Enemy goes differently, how? no idea (again depends on your preference level of angst lol). But as the result, Ben, unstable and a little crazy, is on the run with his corrupted Ultimatrix, his reputation in tatters and is considered dangerous by Plumbers.

(i had a little extra idea of Omniverse continuation, where new Plumber Rook Blonko, now has to hunt his hero turned crazy tragic villain Ben Tennyson. Very emotional and angsty (and a bit gay lol), where Rook continuously trying to unsuccessfully catch crazy Ben and convince him to let Azimuth and plumbers to help him.)

Juniper Lee - Youngest Te Xuan Zhe turned Corrupted/Fallen Te Xuan Zhe - in this case in Out of the Past, what Ah-Mah Jasmine feared about Fallen Te Xuan Zhe Kay Yee managing to corrupt Jun has sort of came to pass. After defeating Kai Yee, being touched by the overwhelming power of Magical Elders has left its mark on Jun, as well as Kai Yee's words and Jasmine's initial fear about/distrust in Jun (she is like 11-12 people, it would FUCK HER UP MENTALLY???). As Jun goes through her rebellious teen phase, the unfairness of her trapped position as protector and the demands of it, grates on her more and more, and she finds refuge in studying magic. As the result, her magical ability grows and as her desire for freedom, and the smallest seed of corruption from the events of Out of the Past grow too. So in the end, Jun learns magic to wield it , like Kai Yee, but unlike Kai Yee, not just for battle, but for personal goal of freeing herself and any future Te Xuan Zhe of her family line.

(fun tidbit, Jun doesn't continue to dye her hair pink, instead she uses blood from battle ;D morbid i know but i couldnt help it i like the imagery of her passing her bloody hands through the white part to paint it. she has lightning scars all over her body, that appear only when she uses magic - a manifestation of her brush with orb of magic elders.)

Rex Salazar - Last Hope Against EVO turned Contained and Controlled Weapon of Providence - Rex's return 6 months after Breach transported him and his introduction to Black Knight goes very differently. Instead of prolonged mind games, Black Knight just imprisons Rex pretty much right away while he is vulnerable, content to attempt to trigger Rex's amnesia ad use the mind-control collar, to turn him into her mindless weapon. She was sorta successful? But with Ceaser on the inside, he managed, with the help of Six and Holiday, to free Rex, even if it was too late to save his mind. As the result, whatever reeducation Rex suffered from Black Knights left him instinctively reacting with force and in defense. The whole last part of the season goes very differently in this state, and the finale also ends differently, with Rex, overwhelmed with power of Omega Nanite (God) but in no mind to actually control it. So in the end he is forced to be contained as his friends and family try to figure out how to save him.

(the angst of mind-controlled Rex is something I enjoy, but since he canonically is immune to it, the idea of an induced amnesiac episode seemed like a best bet for this one, but with like double the angst since Six&Holiday would have to struggle not only with Rex being turned into amind-controlled weapon but also him not knowing them)

Randy Cunningham - Chosen Norrisvile Ninja turned Disgraced/Fallen Ex-Ninja - relatively early in his career, after accidently releasing Tengu and Howard getting possesed by it, Randy makes an ultimate sacrifice by burning the Ninja Mask in order to defeat Tengu. However, he didn't expect that Tengu-possesed Howard to be sealed away together and the Ninja title being taken away from him for his reckless (even if noble) decision. Frantic, because he lost two important parts of his life, his best friend and heroic purpose, Randy tries to get the reborn mask back, but it, along with the Ninjanomicon were spirited away by the Messenger to pass on to another candidate. And thus starts Randy's panicked downward spiral and frantic attempts to get back the mask in order to free Howard. Since he still has his memories, Randy trains to become a better fighter. He knows he has to fight the new ninja for the mask, since he believes the Ninjanomicon would advice strongly against New Ninja helping Randy free Howard. In school He becomes known as resident outcast with bad reputation who lost his best friend under suspicious circumstances, and magical underbelly of Norrisville another antagonist for the Ninja to battle. However he still retains an odd sense of honor about Ninja (because he was one) so when opportunities to team up with Sorcerer, McFist, Sorcereress come up, he either ignores them or uses them for his own goal. The closest thing to hit home for him was when Mac Antfee also tried to get mask back, but for his own selfish purposes unlike Randy, well, lets just say Randy was pissed.

(i feel bad since i practically nipped Randy's career right on the bud, unlike others, but this one felt like a good turning villain opportunity unlike season finale. also! the idea of Randy beng an antagonist to the next ninja, while struggling with his own goodness and desire to save Howard is incredibly interesting to me lol. also he got scars from Tengu)

Zak Saturday - Heroic Fighter for Cryptids turned Cryptid Kur re-Reborn - the last episode, where Argost took powers of Kur and subsequently Zak died for about 3 minutes, Zak didn't reawaken unscathed. Kur is not only powers to control Cryptids, it was a person once, and after Zak died and was ressurected, a part of Kur has come forth, because some part of Zak has been lost in his death. A changed Zak Saturday worries his family, with him being quiet and introspective, not to mention pale/golden eyed and slightly zombie-like from his brush with death. Inside, parts of Zak the Kid and Kur the Olden Cryptid mesh and mix, leaving this new Zak struggling with who he is. As time passes however, Zak the Kid is slowly loosing the battle with a much more powerful older part of the soul of Kur (it wouldnt normally happen but Zak the Kid lost a significant part of his spirit when he died, which was filled with Kur) slowly regain his abilities (like in TGAS). At some point a change happens, and Zak retreats from his family, starting to wander the world as two parts of him struggle for dominance.

(fun tidbit! Zak's outfit is the same from his future vision of him overtaking the world as Kur, it seemed approrpiate lol. Also for some reason I kept thinking of Van Kleiss (from Generator Rex) when designing evil!Zak. they kinda have the same vibe)

Jenny XJ-9 Wakeman - Robotic Hero of Earth turned Robotic Overlord - this is a bit of mixed influences from different points: in season finale Dr. Locust turns Dr. Wakeman's creation against her; Jenny's Older Brother Armagedroid; Vexus attempt to sway Jenny to her fellow robots side; the whole year where Jenny was mind-controlled by a bratty kid and everyone feared her and even her mother planned to create a new XJ-10 in order to defeat her; and also a bit random but that one time Jenny pretended to be a villain Ruby Rocket (hence the red color scheme with bits of Armagedroid/Cluster designs). I have a bit less clear timeline for this, but lets just say its gradual and that at some point a lot of manipulations Jenny suffered turned her against humanity and their use of her robotic brethern. While she does not desire to destroy humanity like her brother, she certainly lost her trust in it, and after a manipulation one time too many, she snaps, turns into a leveled up version of Ruby Rocket/Anti-hero persona, she takes her sisters and leaves to Cluster, where Vega welcomes her. Jenny still protects Earth, but admittingly from afar and in a more evil way I guess?? She loves her mother, but she struggles with Dr Wakeman's previous disregard of her siblings and just callous regard to her creations (Wakeman can be cold/serious/to-the point, without Jenny constantly reminding her that she wants to be like a normal girl).

(Jenny was the hardest, because I couldnt find a clear point of turning in the series for her, so I decided to go with gradual change of mind about humanity sort of deal.)

oof this turned a bit long lol, thank you anyone who read through this clusterfuck! As you can see i sort of went with 'Were a Hero - tragically turned Anti-Hero due to circumstances' kind of vibe, since Im just unable to imagine these guys be like trully horrible evil villains (and this way is more angsty, since, like Fallen Heroes and all that). Im not that creative lol. Anyway, i hope you were as entertained as i was when creating this haha ;D

Hi! I saw your ask about skin tones and honestly, that is very much a barebones excuse to not include skintones in your game. You act as though adding skintones to a sprite would be a complete hand-drawn new asset when it would quite literally be filling in a pre drawn base for both Opal and the mc. Not only that but you potentially have thousands of mc outfits you promised for specific tier havers on the kickstarter. And then for 250,000 dollars, you're telling me we'll get more colors but not even 2 or 4 skintones when there are games with Less funding who have more skintones? Especially considering OL:B&A had the exact same amount of skintones and I could count all the afro centric hairstyles in that game on my two hands. I rather have more skintones than just pale, peach, olive, tan, brown and dark brown (most of which screams a 2000s foundation line of tones) than have more hair or clothing colors. I'm sorry, I love your games, I really do but that's an extremely lazy and abhorrent response from you and I am extremely disappointed.

I really hope this doesn't come across as rude or demanding but I find your reasoning for not being able to add them...lackluster at best. With all due respect, you set this goal for 250k, over three times the original goal you set for the kickstarter, the idea that somehow you can promise an additional set of darker colours for the clothes, accesories hair and eyes alongside the additional MC pieces people are going to request but not an additional skintone because of Opal seems a little ridiculous. I'm not an experienced artist but I do know how art files tend to work and I imagine adding additional colours to Opal's base design wouldn't be an extreme undertaking. In fact, by contrast, the work to add more colours to the clothes and hairs seems much more labourous considering the amount of them and the fact that some of the clothes have subcolours.

Again, I do hope I don't come accross as rude but I just feel like this announcement was highly dissapointing, especially considering the fact that the additional colours are currently the biggest goal for the kickstarter at the moment" There were two replies, so I put them together. I understand. It would be bad and make no sense if that didn’t happen. I can say that this has nothing to do with funding. I'm not gonna attach more skin tones to a stretch goal, that’s not fair. It’ll be done whenever it can be regardless of what happens with the Kickstarter.

The other colors for hair and such is something I confirmed can be done by our programmer ahead of time using a color picker system in coding.

The situation as it stands today for Opal is that I personally don't have the skills to recolor her myself, the artist we have is in a situation where it would be unkind to increase how much work they have to do (it'd be easier if even less work could be on them), and while another artist could be hired- that hasn't happened at this point. So, saying it "could happen but maybe not" is cautious development process. It’s how it went with both the Cove Patreon Bonus Moments, where I pretended for months that it may or may not happen while working on it behind the scenes because I wasn’t sure how long I’d need to finish it and was worried it could be delayed for long stretches of time.

Being realistic, it is virtually a 100% certainly that before the game comes out, the skin tones will be expanded. There is no good reason why it wouldn’t. I was waiting until things got to a better point in production before coming out to officially say that it’s happening.

And I could’ve said it’s extremely likely but we’re not able to do it quite yet and avoided making anyone feel hurt. I wish my way of handling it hadn’t made the people who believed in our games sad. The reason why I didn’t is that I just can’t help but be averse to making promises I can’t do/the team can’t do and so have to rely on something else working out at some point in the future, even if it is entirely likely that it will.

That’s because I know that these things will make a lot of people happy. I want the excitement and any praise that might come to not happen until the goal has been achieved or is on the way to being achieved for sure. To a degree it’s helpful for players to have confidence in what the company is promoting, but it’s mainly to help with my own habit of catastrophizing. I tend to believe bad things could happen and I’ll let people down even when it’s so unlikely it’s not worth considering. I consider it anyway. And so, you get this kind of long-term hedging before the feature people hoped for suddenly appears. Even now my compulsion is to add a caveat that “there’s still a chance something (I don’t even know what) could happen and it won’t be added so don’t thank me yet” despite me already coming out with the truth that there’s every intention to have it added. I’m sorry to have disappointed you and made you feel disregarded by doing this. Hopefully when the skin options are expanded people will be able to enjoy the game a lot more than how it is with the current demo. And thanks for taking the time to let me know what you thought rather than giving up on the project entirely.

"Yawn~~ How long was it? I feel like my pain has gone away! Except this hotness..." I broke my knees recently due to a bicycle accident. How am I supposed to enjoy Christmas month with this?! I went to the doctor of some kind of old man about to rest their case, so I might have been his last patient. Instead of hot nurses, my mom drove me to this elderly, and man, he's freaking big and overage and I show a disgust with him even till when I tapped out. Whatever, at least my knees aren't hurt anymore. But somehow, I'm so sweaty as I notice as if I was wearing a coat....which I didn't wear if I remember......and the feeling of how the clothes is sticking hard on my skin makes me uncomfortable I must say. Wiping off some sweat, a strange feeling occurs.... "hairy....m- mustaches?!"

I have mustaches under my nose and my chin? But I shave all the time! Girls wouldn't notice me if I look old, my face is like I have left it for years unshaved, but feels like my below half has grown that good and wild. Something is wrong here I tried to get up, but the belly prevented me...wait, belly?! I rub my gut, pull up my shirt and touch my umbilical. Something is terriblely wrong. I finally got up and reach the mirror nearby.... What? Am I daydreaming???! I saw my reflection: big belly and even more facial hair. This isn't a teenage, I'm growing old and fat ass! My face is filled with edgy parts and wrinkles as beard is forming greatly from my cheeks to chin. And I can see it is being recolored with salt and pepper pattern. With a bigger, thicker outlook, I'm aware that I'm stepping to my 40s. I'm just literally confused that my head starts spinning. When I reach the mirror again, my hair starts falling and turning white. I can't believe it as seeing the hair falling on the shirt I'm wearing, which wasn't mine, but of that doctor earlier. Doctor....

No....I'm turning to realize that I'm becoming that obese, overage doctor! I brusted the shirt out only to see my hairy giant gut! The last details are getting there as I can feel my gut has fully grown along my body with hair inside this shirt and on my face, all white. "My youth, my look, my identity is draining....I must....find help..." I talk to myself with a weaker voice of an old man Out of breath, I ran outside only to see the sign of this medical place is being placed down as the phone in my pocket shirt rang... "Oh hi Mr Hopp! The charity is ready outside the bus, please catch us in time alright? Good! See you there!" Youth? Look? Turning fat and old? What's wrong with me....I have always been like this, haven't I? I saw this charity job of disguising as Santa Claus, picked my time and closing this office for this month. For once, just for a break, for being away from disrespectful teens and bring my jolly to children! Ho ho, time to go!

MY recolor trio, i was gonna make them peep the horror but i couldn’t do it. They’re just having fun and playing around now

Basic things to know:

-Main hub is a throne room and they live in a castle

-clown princess is playful but extremely clumsy and leaves a mess behind where ever she goes. Jester says nothing and mainly does tricks but has nothing behind those eyes. Knight is a patient and gentle griffith that tries to clean up clown princesses mess

First teacher that ngl i made up in two seconds so not a lot going on, trio try to plan a party but everything goes wrong, no one gets hurt again i can’t get myself to make them peep any horror they’re too whimsical. (there’s a horrible glitch i have where the images just, change from what they actually are i literally don’t know if this is gonna be posted with the incorrect images)

Hello dear platasp! Do you perhaps mind to tell me how to do wcifs for.. Myself basically? Lol, I have a lot of clothes and objects in my game which I have no idea what files they are that I would like to delete. I've heard that deleting them directly by the trashcan in game does not actually delete the file and causes corruption. So I'm not sure how to actually remove unwanted cc. Thank you!

Hey anon! Here's my process (someone else may have their own way - please comment below!)

Objects - I'll drop a 5x5 empty lot and go in and start putting every piece of CC I don't want. When I'm done going through the catalogue, I'll package up the lot and exit the game. From there, I will load up Sims 2 Clean Installer and load the lot. Sims 2 Clean Installer will provide the filename + the subfolder it is located so you can easily delete its mesh and recolors 😄

CAS - These items (clothing/makeup/hair) I'll go into game and in neighborhood view I'll turn on boolProp testingcheatsenabled true. I'll then load up CAS and press CTRL + N - this will turn on debug mode. I can then hover over all the CC items and find their tooltips - if they have them. This can also be done in BodyShop, but keep in mind that BodyShop will also run through object cc - making your loading time for the program much, much longer You can also use Pick'n'Mix's Outfit Organizer to delete CAS items and preview them as well without going into the game :)

The only thing I can think of that may cause "corruption" is if you delete CC items that are loaded to your catalogue bin - I know that's not the right terminology lol. What I mean is if you have like... Castaway Stories stuff in your program files to remove the CC star and label it as BV. I don't know what it will do, but it won't be good.

Things like geneticized and townified skin/eyes being deleted can cause your sims to look funky and mess up their DNA + their future spawn. It won't necessarily hurt your game (I don't think), but it's better to either leave them or be prepared to update affected sims.

Edit: also check out decat’s reblog regarding more cc that can mess up your hood. Didn’t even think of it because I don’t play with custom food or NPCs (except aliens and I’ve had the same ones for years). Any cc that impacts memory - in my understanding - can be fixed by editing the memories of the sims.

I buzzed my hair today and recolored it my natural ginger. And when I looked at myself in the mirror I finally felt good about going by he/him. I took a picture and sent it to my friends and actually sort of felt euphoric about my gender for the first time.

Then I came to my parents house for my grandmother’s birthday, despite being sick because I was ordered to be here.

I’ve been she/her’d so many times I feel dizzy. It’s disorienting and it hurts—every time someone says “hey lady” it’s like someone is ripping my chest open with a hot knife. It’s not fucking fair.

It’s not FAIR.

I don’t look like a fucking girl today. I look like a goddamn man. I look like society’s norm of masculinity. But they still can’t fucking even make a goddamn attempt. These people who claim to be LGBTQ allies can’t even make an effort for their own family. It makes me so fucking angry, and even more so sad.

I’m so sad.

2022 ended on probably one of the fuckiest notes for me.

I won't say this year was full of bad things or that it was the worst year ever, cause some good things came out of it! But it def got tough near the end. Had a really rough class in the fall that I'm ambivalent about cause on one hand, I liked it, but on the other it was very difficult and had a lot of problems. Really hoping it didn't do something to my GPA...

I've also just struggled a lot around fall with negativity and other stuff. I remember the days where people would tell me that my indulgence in oc x canon made them feel confident about their own oc x canon stuff and it was great knowing that people felt more confident in indulging in things that made them happy because I was also just enjoying myself. But over the years things got...rough. Everyone remembers the "good old" days of mary-sue hate and alla that, right?

Well, back when I was younger I used to be into Keroro Gunso a whole lot and I had my little "cringey" pre-teen/early teen oc that was just a purple Dororo recolor with an edgy black hat and scarf who wore Naruto shoes. I had the support of a lot of kind friends that encouraged me to keep doing stuff with this oc and Dororo, but one artist I looked up to in the Keroro scene did not hide how much they hated my oc. They would make fun of how my oc was so edgy looking and commented on art of my fankid of Dororo and my oc that she "Didn't know Dororo's kid shopped at hot topic" in a way that made it clear she considered ocs like this bad. And it super sucked! It sucked seeing how she would comment on my work in this way but praise my friends for their ocs. I felt like I was doing something wrong, even though I was just a kid having fun and interests.

Today I can look back on that and kind of laugh at the absurdity, but I am pretty ashamed to admit I had also become like that artist. Now, I never went to people's posts about their ocs and told them boldfaced how they were bad because I thought they were absurd when compared to the canon they were shipped with, but I did find myself becoming overly critical of people's ocs. However, all the negativity I've gone through at the end of this year has gotten me to realize how ridiculous it is to be that way. Oc x canon isn't about who makes the best oc to ship with the canon, or how accurate the oc is to the world they're a part of. It's about having fun and smiling at the thought of your favorite character being friends with or being in love with an oc you made because you enjoy the character a lot and want to have a good time thinking about them.

It's depressing that I also worked so hard to make good ocs later on in my life because of those incidents where people were so critical of my designs because they were "edgy." So ultimately this judge-y attitude towards people's ocs just leads to hurt, unhealthy feelings of needing to be "perfect/as accurate as possible," and it ruins something that is meant to be for fun and your own joy. We can have our tastes, but to say a person's oc or ship is bad because the oc isn't to our personal standards isn't really worth much. Taste is always subjective. This stuff shouldn't even be about who makes the better ocs or whatever, either. It's absurd, self indulgent, fun and nothing is won from being mean about how another person goes about their self indulgent fun and I am ashamed and embarrassed of myself for having had an attitude similar to the person who made me feel bad about my own fun all those years ago. Some might say no harm no foul cause I never actually went around telling people their ocs were bad or something but even just being such a critic was really damaging to my own though process.

It's fine to share your distaste of things with friends and to have a quick laugh or something about it, but I found myself doing it a lot, and I had been someone who felt wrong about laughing at others. In the past, I had a friend who would always send me "bad art" to laugh at and I would because I was afraid of her getting mad at me if I didn't (this person abused me a lot back then but I won't get into that) and to think years down the line I would be indulging in similar behavior it just fucking stinks to reflect on. I may not have been as much of a jerk as people who ran "bad ocs" blogs but my god, I still thought like one on occasion.

This got really long but I think the rocky end to this year just really opened me up to how silly some of the things I placed importance on are. I want to keep working on enjoying myself with others without being mean about pointless things. I don't wanna say that I want to become a passive person who allows iffy stuff just because I wanna be more positive or something, there's a lot of stuff in this world that deserves to be criticized and not be pushed aside, but when it comes to harmless things in life, like oc x canon, I just wanna get back to the good fun basics of it all. Not even just oc x canon but fandom stuff in general, too. Learning to see things with the lens of "this person likes that, and I may not, but it's fine and it's not impeding on my own fun" has been so helpful. Just not getting worked up and bothered about stuff that I can easily just scroll past (like ships idc about and harmless headcanons and I don't agree with) has been nice and essential.

TLDR: Just gonna enjoy my life and work on things I wanna work on and share good experiences with friends and not allow myself to get into behaviors that depress me and ultimately don't make any kind of changes to the things I was being a dick about.

i can somewhat see the resemblance LOLL it might be the hair length and how similarly their hair pokes out out at the sides. also, i find it funny how they can look similar but arlecchino uses her sword elegantly and heizou just punches.

regardless, i think everyone has different reasons for being hyped (or not! everyone has preferences, hehe) for her — personally, i like how she's a breath of fresh air from the usual genshin female models (i advocate for more girlies in pants as someone who barely wears skirts/dresses myself 😵), but i'm more interested in how her story is going to play out.

from what i recall, she's apparently the one who looks over the house of hearth (which is a fatui-based orphanage where they train orphans to become a part of the fatui) and you could say that place doesn't really get a 5-star review. yikes, that's smth to add to the crimes list 🫣

Please note, I'm not knocking off or discouraging people from doing redesigns. I actually do like seeing some myself. This is just a theory of why I think they didn't redesign the Friendly Four when they made the episode Life, the Negaverse and Everything, which by the way, is my absolute favorite episode. So don't let my opinion discourage you or anything from being creative. These are just my thoughts.

A side from possible laziness since we were just going to see these guys once, I feel like part of it is because their designs are a little complex compared to most of the Nega counterparts . Like with the other Nega-designs, it's really easy to think of the opposite looks for them. Just make Nega Gos super girly, turn the Muddlefoots and Launchpad into a biker gang, turn NegaTank into Honker pretty much and it's pretty standard. Bottomline, they're easy to think of evil looks. I mean Negaduck himself is just Darkwing Duck recolored when you really get down to it.

With the Fearsome Four they have pretty complex designs that's kinda hard to think of what would be the opposite especially for one episode and to be fair, their designs already are pretty neutral. Their designs could work as villains and heroes. Their designs use bright colors but aren't too light either. They don't look completely evil but they don't look saintly either. QJ just looks like a stuffed animal himself, Megavolt wears a lot of light colors. Bushroot is a flower thanks to his hair and Liquidator is just water. Kinda like how Darkwing's Justice Ducks could possibly and have been villains, with exception of Gizmo Duck and Stegmutt is just too cute looking to be evil.

This makes sense because we know for the fact the rest of the Fearsome Four do have moments where they can be good. Bushroot is already more sweet and shy, he barely counts as a villain sometimes and he as well as Quackerjack and Megavolt, have helped Darkwing in saving the day in at least one or more episodes. Liquidator, well he only had his debut episode but even he is just greedy. He's not shown to go out of his way to hurt people. Just get a quick buck. I mean he did poison water especially during a rough time but it's kinda hard to judge because we don't see it actively hurting others.

I kinda like to think in terms of how this universe works is that the Friendly Four are left unchange because their counterparts have at least shown good and even helped save the day a couple times. The Fearsome Four's reasons for being evil are more personal as they feel their way of doing things is the only way to reach their goals. While in Negaduck you don't feel remorse at all. He is like Darkwing just evil. His goal is just destruction for the sake of it with the glory of being the baddest villain in both universes. You can argue that Megavolt is like this as well because he too is the most violent, same with Quackerjack but I feel this is because they're insane and not just simply because they are evil for the sake of it.

Everyone else in Darkwing's World is very much strictly on one side with Gos being sorta the exception. She's mischievous and is rough but is still kind and wants to be a hero, which is probably why her Nega counterpart is still good, just a bit girly. I guess you can say Gos is somewhat Neutral Good, while the Fearsome Four are Neutral Evil, which is why they are exceptions to the rules of the Negaverse with the Friendly Four not having their own Negaverse designs and Gos still being good in the Negaverse.

I like to think so is Neptunia and Morgana since they were once villains but not anymore so it's possible, their Nega counterparts would fall into the exception of the strict rules, with Nega-Neptunia being possibly like NegaGos and being sweeter and even gentle and Morgana's design possibly not having that much of a change.

Anyway, that's my two cents of why the Friendly Four don't have their own designs in the Negaverse and even why NegaGos is still good in the Negaverse. Feel free to leave thoughts in reblogs or messages.

Things from Michael's investigation (yes this is from Michael's pov, as if he's writing it) (ooc stands for out of character/my thoughts):

Jack and Rosemary Walten are married

Sophie, Edd and Molly are their kids

Edd and Molly died in a car crash due to Felix Kranken's drunk driving

Felix Kranken is/was Jack's business partner

They own/owned Bon's Burgers together

Jack went missing either before or after Edd and Molly's deaths

(Felix could be responsible but Bon could have something to do with it)

Rosemary was dismembered and stuffed into Sha (the sheep animatronic they have)

(She was probably looking for Jack)

Felix did want control over the company (this could be a motive but could just be what he wanted)

(He doesn't seem to have a motive otherwise)

Some other people went missing (could be related, could be coincidental), I think their names are Ashley, Susan (the name reminds me of the kid father killed) and Charles

There seems to be a blonde boy involved too (don’t know his name)

Sophie seems to have played a game that contained these disappearances (the poor girl probably saw her mom and siblings' corpses, maybe her father's too)

She does seem to be happy with her girlfriend (I think her name is Jenny) otherwise

Wait, does Sophie work at one of the locations? If so then poor thing has to work in the same building that her mom's grave is in (not like I haven't done the same but still)

OOC: I got most of the info from watching tik tok compilations and looking at memes/fanart (yes, I tried to actually watch the series but 1. My attention spam is short as fuck and 2. I'm a little bitch who is apparently scared of this despite liking/making horrific shit)

Sorry these don’t go into much detail, I wanna keep them as transparent as possible in case I ever wanna change one, but these ones will likely not be undergoing major changes though

Phantasma, a ghost

Nameless, a conglomeration of multiple animals(I have art for him that @maskoni-five made for me, just ask if you wanna see it-)

Catrine, a cat that can turn into a neko. She sells scarves in a snowy tundra

Luna, the Werewolf Queen(personally one of my favorite characters I’ve made)

Expo, a sphinx cat that’s half-void and has unnatural abilities because of that

Blacky, a void “demon” and Expo’s best friend.(Blacky already had a love interest and it started The Great Void War because of it)

Sky the Cloud Dragon, an aging warrior who’s best known for his time in the sky wars

Vinnie the Velociraptor, he came from Sky’s dream realm and helps others who are having bad dreams break away from them. He’s also not the brightest crayon in the box

Snatggbu(Snatg for short), a tyrant that killed a lotta people and destroyed multiple worlds. His power was in his horn, but since his horn was snapped off by his own creation, he’s dead.

Plobbetba(Plob for short), said creation. Was originally just a 2 year old dragon living with her family till Snatg killed them all. Snatg brought Plob back by making her a cyborg who can melt anything but herself, for the purpose of melting planets. She keeps Snatg’s horn close to her at all times, knowing how dangerous it can be in the wrong hands

Fiqunzur, it’s not just an OC, it’s a species. Here’s a picture of one I drew myself. They take whatever they find interesting with their tail-hand and take it back to their dens. They’re really soft, have 6 eyes so they can see all around them(their only blind spot is directly behind them), and are infamous for being able to change color and shape, thus able to get through just about any cage.

Qwarkon “The Blood Moon’s Ghost”, a weather elemental(which makes him looks ghostly) who can only use his powers when under moonlight, when getting power from the moon the moon appears to be a blood red for those nearby.

Ellipse the alien, her kind was cursed with immortality by “green fire”, and her planet was destroyed by a pink entity who called themselves “The Leader”. However, she can still feel pain, so whenever somebody threatens her, she says “Better make it hurt. Better make me scream in pain.” She’s a lizard-looking creature with feathers that change color based on what she eats, and she’s a super fast learner, learning English within a few hours. While I was in a roleplay server, I had her attempt to flirt with SCP 682(who was run by somebody else).

(this one is FNaF OC, the rest aren't for any fandom :b) Puzzles the Chameleon Animatronic(More colors will be added, though IDK how often I’m gonna update him. If you draw him, just keep one of the pieces on his head color code 842593) A Chameleon Animatronic that was loved by kids because they were able to color in puzzle pieces of him. When he was eventually sold to Fazbear Entertainment™️, he had a very unique touch-screen-suit on him, and he purposefully recolored each color on him exactly where it used to be, even though the pieces on him got smaller so more can fit onto him. He’s always friendly, and is really good with special needs kids. During hugs his screen usually changes to a chameleon pattern so it won’t mess up the pieces on him. He remembers fondly of the first color ever put on him, being Purple Color Code 842593((don’t get why? Read the color code backwards)) on his forehead. He’s usually very calm, though eager to make new friends. He lets the children approach him over him approaching the children, unless said child is having a meltdown or sensory overload, in which he’ll calmly usher them into a quiet place and play a music box which has different options, the default being Somewhere Out There from An American Tail(a real movie that came out in 1986). He’s also resistant of anything that makes him aggressive, and the only thing he’ll become aggressive to is the person or thing that tried to make him aggressive. He will always help whoever the other animatronics are trying to hurt for little reason. His default voice is calming, not too deep, not too high, and he can change his voice in a range. While he doesn’t have a chest cavity like Glamrock Freddy, he helps kids who’re trapped by mimicking their clothes pattern which is a diversion to the other animatronics, or if he’s helping a Nightguard, he changes colors like the animatronic that’s the nearest to the guard. He’s also had plenty of memory upgrades, voice range upgrades, upgrades to make him have more puzzle pieces, and music box upgrades so he can play anything he considers calming music, and kids can make requests to play certain songs or just to not play anything. Though his music box upgrades also allows him to learn new things from the internet as a whole, he always checks multiple sources before adding something to his memory from the internet. His room is a designated quiet room, though he usually spends his time outside of it so loud kids don’t rush in to disturb the kids or even adults that need a quiet place to calm down.

Jade Akai lily, hopefully no longer a Jane clone

Some explanation before we start, Silvia (as she know goes by) changes her name a lot so if in the past I called her Ember Or Jackal it was to keep up. However for know she will be known as Silvia, as thats her current attempt at rebranding.

So miss-Silvia has posted again and this time it’s her infamous jane clone/ ‘twin’ Jade (I know so original. But then again this is a girl who complained about name and color theft while this was Jade’s og look

so maybe it’s only the original parts of her oc that are wrong to “take”. As Jane used to be named Akai to..) but I digress, Jade was Silvia’s take at a shitty trend that happened during the DA ranting era where people would make ‘evil’ twin versions of Jane after Cobalt tried to separate her oc from the dick heads version who paired her with Amy, a character she hated, to be spiteful. Something Silvia clung onto after she got called out for stealing Janes work, most likely to be petty and hurt Cobalt in some way because she had a grudge, and claim all the fan art of the evil twin and Amy was of her ‘original’ recolor Jade.

So while I did roll my eyes (girl move on, you were in the wrong the obsession is creepy) when she’s started to design her oc’s using doll makers and while not the most original, is a slight improvement ( I mean I’ve used the maker and she could have easily made Jade a clone)

I’ll state it again, no one has an issue with her taking inspiration, it’s the fact that she recolored over other’s art (mine included) and straight up stole character designs

(Jane and Sonic oc’s to the right, icky-Vicky and Shadows child to the left. But remember her oc isn’t a slut like Jane who only sleeps with Sonic. Vicky slept with both Sonic and Shadow in her au (no shade to any one who pairs there oc with more than one character but its the hypocrisy for me)

My oc (bottom doodles) is named bell by the way.

But considering when she designs her oc’s with a doll maker she sticks to those designs (her new design for Jayden and Jace , Jade x Amy kids)

(yes the base was used without permission since the og base was made by Emberlovesstealing/mari which was shitty. I’m just pointing out how these designs are an upgrade from Jane with a swirl and Sonic recolors

)

So I’m hoping she uses this design to make Jade some what original and not a spiteful ‘evil’ twin because Cobalt called Silvia, the princess of edgy town out for stealing her art.

While I dislike the name ( it’s clunky and feels like she named her ‘oc’ that so she can copy and paste the D above the N in Jane’s name on akai x amy art/ make it easier to steal descriptions (which she’s done, and in polish no less) It’s not a huge issue outside of it directly linking Jane and Jade. So maybe changing it (first /middle or both) might help separate her more. There are a tone of names that mean red/shade of red or are a gemstone. (Maroon, Ruby, Sienna, Garnet) Middle name ( Akari, Akako, Hiiro (Scarlet), Makka (pure red), Shuiro (Vermillion) the list goes on.

Or hell keep the name Jade but change the oc’s fur color to green (to match her name and Jade Midori Lily sounds cool (might keep the Midori name for myself) or even hisuiiro which translated to Jade Green

You don’t even have to change the Next gen’s colors as Amy is pink and you could just say the colors come from here side of the family (I mean Sonic siblings are pink and green while his mom is purple with a yellow patch in some iterations so)

Just a few thoughts and suggestions. Plus this way you can prove how Jade isn’t just Janes family dollar version, especially since Silvia hates Cobalt and you’d think would want to not be associated with her.
