I wont be online in tumblr for a few days but there are some questions i would like to ask. I hope you dont mind that (They’re just repeats of an ask i sent a few days ago, although you have replied it)

1. How do you deal with the problem where your OC is a tad similar to an existing character. For example my OC Kokoro’ (my tsukumogami OC that i hve talked before here) she's a tad too similar to Kirara. Sure there are some stuff different between them but, it doesnt feel enough? No matter what i do to make them different, they still feel to similar. One of my reasons for not wanting for Kokoro being a dendro user was because it would make her seem to similar to Kirara, making her a parody of sorts. How do you deal with that?

2. Do you read all the ask you got even if you dont reply it?

3. Are you still open to read any HSR brainrots?

HI BELOVED i meant to respond to your other ask but i supposed it slipped away from me! as for your questions...

this is kind of a tough question, but i'll do my best to answer! sometimes our ocs can end up being very similar to canon characters. it isn't inherently a bad thing, but as an oc creator, i understand the frustration that comes with this issue. i don't have very much advice, but what i will say is this: ocs tend to evolve and change as you put more thought and time into them. i had this issue with lian when they were nothing more than a thought in my brain--they were a bit too similar to bailu, but as i pushed on in lian's development, they changed. try giving kokoro new interests, or have something important happen in her story. have her meet new people. you could also either add or remove an important character trait, but i know it can be hard to take away a core piece of your oc. the best way to fix this issue, i think, is to keep developing your oc in spite of it.

I only get honestly creative when I have a brainrot or if I hve an exam or something important deadline coming up then it’s gone again. It’s the adhd showing up . But i honestly dont know how to get out of it. Im currently on a block so outside of comm, i cant draw anythingn yet lol. I do need to go and wait for the right headspace to be able to draw again.

Yes it’s drama and forbidden but also just the reality of how siblings relationships are it’s just, pure chaos and fighting, but when it end up too mean, it just soft love and reminders. Sometimes older siblings just too mean by accident :(

See this is why I don't like parent/child ships, I have nothing ideological against them but... i just can't suspend my disbelief like with siblings. With sibling ships I can see them being silly and affectionate and cute together. But also, the bickering 😂😂 Ahh the two ends of the spectrum... siblings that act so sweet and romantic around each other that everyone suspects, or siblings that look so normal with their fighting and chaos, that no one would suspect a thing (though they're totally making out when no one is looking).

Speaking of older siblings being too mean... oof i feel you ;-; not that i hve ever been mean to my younger sister, I am A Saint /lh, but I've seen some pretty shit older siblings yeah.
