IMO the worst thing you can do with your character is make him a butt-monkey and then making him just a prick just to justify the beatings.
(yeah because Eddy in earlier seasons was already the writters' punching bag before starts his downward spiral in season 3).
off the top of my head i can't think of any examples before s3 where eddy is getting gratuitously walloped, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. yeah he always loses in the end, but people root for the underdog, etc. if things ever worked out for him there wouldn't be much of a show.
but yeah i just kind of take it for what it is i guess. i don't really care for eddy torture but come on, sometimes it's funny. and justified. i watched a few s3 episodes recently, namely brother can you spare an ed/the day the ed stood still, and jesus christ he really is a little fucking demon. his difficult personality is on display from the get-go and definitely intensifies as the show goes on. i don't know what the writers' intentions were but it makes sense to me that his unhinged behavior escalates all the way up to the end of bps when he finally gets his reality check.

Talking more about Violet/Kit? Why yes, yes I am—there’s just more stuff that I want to talk about involving her.
She never really knew her father that well—when she was born, her parents were still together, but when she was about two (she’s ten in the present), the two of them got divorced.
Though, they were both still on friendly terms and everything, and the young Violet would still see him for a little longer. At least until she was about three.
Long story short, her father died from an illness. So she just doesn’t really remember him much—she has a few little memories here and there, but that’s it.
Then, also keeping it more short/simple, she went to the Pizzaplex, and met Glamrock Bonnie—who helped her out, and as time went on, became a father figure to her.
Violet is autistic.
Mentioned a few times prior already, but ‘Kit’ (which can be a baby bunny) is a nickname given to her by Glam. Bon, and she loves it.
She originally wanted to grow up and work as a vet, but ended up changing her mind—now wanting to work at the Pizzaplex whenever she finally can.
The mask that she has, Violet made it all by herself a year prior. It makes her feel a bit more comfortable and safe during certain times—and it’s just a rather nice thing, too.
She always carries it with her, whether actually wearing it over her face or not. You’d never really see her without it.
Of course, Violet would keep going to the Pizzaplex, but as you’d imagine... Glamrock Bonnie eventually disappeared, causing her distress.
A few times after that, Violet would keep going back to the Pizzaplex—hoping to potentially find where the rabbit went, but every single time, she didn’t have any luck.
Eventually, Violet, saddened by the disappearance and not finding anything, eventually stopped going to the Pizzaplex.

Firefly Meadow
—————————————————————————
It’s been so, so long since Mami has been here.
The soft grassy reeds were swaying gently in the wind, trees dancing with the breeze. The sky was dark, but beautiful twinkling stars decorated the night sky. It was just as beautiful as she remembered.
Mami smiled, walking closer to the middle. She looked over her shoulder and spotted her companion.
Kyoko followed after Mami, staring in awe at the quiet, peaceful meadow. She looked up and admired the beautiful stars just twinkling above her. Mami too looked up and stared. So many times had she stretched her arm up, trying to reach and touch the stars above. To feel it in her hands, to…
“I promise, I’ll reach up to the sky and grab the most beautiful star you could ever see!” her father laughed as Mami giggled, sitting on her father’s shoulders as they looked up at the night sky.
A pained smile appeared on Mami’s lips. How she wished they were here, that they could play and talk and have a picnic here, the three of them together, just like before…
“So this is where you relax?” Kyoko asked breathlessly, still enraptured by the stars above. Mami nodded. “I haven’t been here in so long…”
And it was true. She didn't have the time to come here and relax, she was far too busy protecting Mitakihara from Witches or other rivaling Magical Girls. It was a tough duty for a 13-year-old, but Mami couldn't complain. Saving others, and saving lives would always be worth it. No matter the cost.
Mami beckoned Kyoko to follow her. The latter immediately cooperated. She walked through the tall grass, brushing her hand against it. “This is where the magic happens,” she whispered to Kyoko.
Small glimmers of light appeared from the grass, floating about like little balls of light. Mami twirled around the grass, causing more light to emerge, floating around her. Kyoko watched with awe at the display. She knew what these floating lights were – fireflies. Mami continued dancing, spinning around gracefully as more and more fireflies emerged from the grass. Her mentor looked like she was now dancing with the fireflies, eyes closed and lost in the magic.
Mami stopped and opened her eyes. All she could see was the sparkling light of the fireflies and her kouhai’s amazed expression. Mami smiled and held a hand out. “Dance with me,” Kyoko hesitated, then stepped forward and tenderly held Mami’s hand in her own.
Mami pulled her a little closer, and then proceeded to twirl her around. Kyoko gasped in amazement when she saw the fireflies moving around her. It was even more magical up close! It was almost as if they were dancing with her and Mami. She didn't know how to describe this. This experience was ineffable to the greatest degree.
They danced together for a while, and Kyoko lost track of time. How long were they doing this? For minutes, hours? She couldn't bring herself to care nevertheless, too lost in the magic around her.
They stop dancing eventually, and Kyoko is then faced with a smiling, contented Mami. “Thank you so much for coming here with me,” Mami breathes, and Kyoko feels looking at Mami is way too magical. With all these fireflies floating around her, it’s almost as if she’s an angel. “I haven’t felt this happy in so long.” Mami throws her head back and laughs. It was a melodious sound that made Kyoko even more dazed.
Mami was so, so happy. This was perfect. For so long, Mami had been alone. Ever since her parents… death, she’d been alone here. Now she had someone to share the magic with. To share her memories with. She wasn’t alone anymore…
Mami ran up to Kyoko and embraced her in a hug. Kyoko reciprocated immediately.
From then on, this place was their weekly visit, always coming here to relax and enjoy each other’s company.
(Fireflies look like crackles of fire. It’s funny how it foretold the Sakura family tragedy, how it foretold the end of their dear friendship.)
(Mami hasn’t visited this place in years.)
(She never does.)

Lesson learned: Fantasy is trash at vivid descriptions T-T (I learned that since I started writing though LOL)
Hello!! I’m here again! Don’t think I did this very well, since I need to be good at describing (which is not my strong suit in the least) but I had to get this off my mind so here it is. Hope you like it…?
Anyway, this was inspired by “Fireflies”. My brother suddenly asked me which Holy Quintet member would sing it and I said “maybe Mami?” and then it erupted into this entire one-shot when I imagined Mami dancing with fireflies. Soooo… here it is.
Well, I hope you like this! Maybe not though, I think I didn’t do this too well…
P.S: For those that saw my “reverse-AU” post, it’s gonna take a while. It’s a tad long, so maybe I’ll post it in a few days, maybe in a week. I just hope I don’t hit a dead end here… soooo, uh, just a little warning, please don’t get your hopes up too high. I’m not very good at writing (😭) and I think it’s easy for me to disappoint others, sadly. But! I’m having a lot of fun writing it, so I can at least hope it’s decent. I’m trying my very best though, I swear! I just want to make this a good read that’s worth your time…
Uhhh… thank you for coming to my TED talk? Anyway, hope you enjoy this little story!
