When Niki makes him leave her he tells her “I’ll come back for you” and she believes him and he visits her every now and then so she doesn’t forget him but she doesn’t really register what’s happening every time since she’s so small

It’s like 3 AM and there’s meowing in the living room and they think it’s just Niku with the zoomies but no she’s talking to a whole other cat

whole other cat is an alley cat that just passed by one day and saw her and Instantly fell in love and keeps trying to talk with her but Niku is having None of it

He keeps coming by and she eventually just warms up to him because he is. Kind of cute and very charming

he takes her to his favorite spots and shows her so many things she has never seen and each place they stop at she falls a little more in love (nya-kun is already so in love he cant fall even more hes at full love)

He drops her off at home and she’s just so happy and purring and everything and good kitty things and Rinne and Niki have no idea why she’s like this but they can’t really complain

he comes by again and takes her out and it goes well at first but then they get into a fight with some other alley cats that does not go well; niku is okay and a little shaken but nya-kun is hurt and bleeding

She brings him back to the apartment and kinda tears some things and drawers apart looking for the first aid kit that she’s seen Rinne and Niki use and she’s trying her best to patch him up but Nya-kun’s sitting there thinking and kinda regretting everything ‘cause she got put in danger

nya~kun: i love her. I Love her. But I'm just an alley cat. she has a loving home, she doesn't belong out there. not on the streets. not with me. she's beautiful and everything ive ever dreamed of but i have to let her go. 

niku panicking while trying to patch him up : nya-kun please stay my dads will help i dont know what to do but theyll know ! where are you going? theyll help you, i know they will!

Nya-kun says this isn’t gonna work out for them because she’s just not a street cat, it’s not safe for her out there and she should stay here, where she has a loving home and people who love her, and he thanks her for spending time with him and putting up with him and he leaves And Rinne and Niki come home like “Niku what the fuck happened you’ve never done this” ‘cause everything’s still a mess and she’s just sitting there 

for the next few days she's so, so, sad at first she thinks he'll come by but he doesn't and doesn't the next day and doesn't the day after that or after that or after that but she still waits by the window with her food unfinished waiting for him and rinne and niki notice and are so worried because their baby is hurting and they have no idea why

In all her alone time she realizes that she had no say in his decision to leave her alone, and that it isn’t fair ‘cause he made the decision for her when she didn’t want it in the first place so she makes her own choice to go look for him A là “It’s my life I get to choose” Niki-style

so one day when she gets the confidence and niki and rinne are out at work she nudges the window open and jumps out and runs to every place she can remember him taking her , his fav spot by the pachinko, his fav place to take shelter in, etc, until she finds herself back in the same alley and face to face with the alley cats that had attacked them before. the alley cats recognize her and seeing that her companion isnt with her move to attack her for revenge because though he got hurt, he left a. number on them

Nya-kun jumps in at the last second and fights them off and he’s like “What are you doing here? You shouldn’t be here you don’t belong here!” (This is all in meows by the way) And Niku’s like “Even if I don’t belong here, you belong with me!” She can’t stand the thought of him fighting for his life while she’s just living comfy so she finally begs him to come home with her ‘cause

 “Dad and dad will love you!!” 

“How do you know that!?”

 “Because I love you!!”

he's so absolutely speechless and starts sobbing (in meowspeak) and is like i love you but im just a street cat, and niku is like if you love me you will come home with me please and nya-kun FINALLY finally breaks down and moves forward slightly closes his eyes touches his nose to her's and gives out a breathless "okay"(meow) and she takes him home and they slip in through the window and sit in the living room cuddled up together waiting for her dads to come home

Anyways yeah that’s how they got the second cat (Rinne and Niki have no idea any of this happened btw [time period unspecified]) and Nya-kun is now called Rinnya-kun but Niku still calls him Nya-kun

and theyre still in love

another thing about niku being so tiny when she was at the cafe is that she doesn’t remember the one other friend she had at the cat cafe that was a tiny orange cat who ran away

that tiny cat was her only friend but he hated being in the cafe and ran away and she barely remembers anything but only knows she felt comfortable in that short time and for some reason the tall red haired guy reminded her of that cat

when the entire B plot ends up being more emotionally charged than the main plot

so is cellbit pro-fed? all his investigations have helped the fed and worked against granting the islanders freedom. also even though he didn't tell the feds everything in his recent investigations he did just confess that he withheld information to cucurucho which we know will have consequences, which will probably harm all the islanders, since they all helped steal the minimes. i guess i'm just a little confused since his words have all been anti-fed but his actions have helped the feds a lot in stopping the islanders from escaping or finding out about the rebellion faction, even if he did it unintentionally. at the end of the day cellbit has said he would be fine staying on the island as long as he can be with roier and richas, and that the islanders have the freedom to come and go as they please, which is very similar to what foolish has said.

A: the benefits to the feds (which seemingly arent actually benefiting the feds moreso then benefiting Antoine which is a whole other can of worms) are also benefits to the larger EXPLICIT anti fed goal.

B: what about Cellbit's last stream and that scene with Cucu has you calling him pro fed? The feds are fully aware the islanders stole the minimi's. What Cellbit did was take the blame away and put it on himself. And we dont know where his arc will go from here, but the general terminology of pro federation isnt applicable yet. If he genuinely sticks to what he said to Cucurucho? (which he likely wont for any longer then a week or two) ((three weeks if we count him sleeping)) then maybe that can be reconsidered

Not everything he does is perfect and sometimes he DOES do something to hurt the anti fed cause. There are times where you can look at his actions and say "this is pro fed whether he realizes it or not." But that doesn't make him generally pro fed. God he literally created a resistance group (one acknowledged as such by the larger anti fed resistance group Etoiles joined) And has worked tirelessly towards anti federation goals for months. I do not watch this man spend 6 hours trying to fuck over the federation every single day for him to be labeled pro fed 😭

Unlike Jaiden and Foolish. Foolish who actively hurts islanders to benefit the feds- not for any anti fed goal or anything. Just because he finds it fun and wants the power to have more fun. Jaiden who rarely contributes to anything anti fed. Who claims to be neutral (aka pro fed. Because to not be anti oppressor is to support them. That's a good life lesson!/gen) Who despite this "neutrality" actively helps the feds!

On top of this, both of them actively shut down anti fed actions and opinions quite often.

There will never be a hard line to draw with labels, especially labels like "pro" or "anti". But we use them anyways and expect people to be able to read between the nuances. What you are saying is something called semantics.

The large point of my post is not to complain when people call Jaiden or Foolish pro federation. Because that doesn't mean they are ignoring nuance or ignoring characterization or whatever. Because calling them pro fed is completely reasonable in the general way we use these kinds of terms

Ooohh this one was interesting bc im not sure if I managed to nailed this lmfao also since you didn't specify if the koyou and reader are in a romantic relationship or not I decided to keep things very grey so that you can read it in whatever way you prefer💞

While Koyou doesn't have any experience in pregnancy herself, she can understand how troubling the period can be. So if you thought was protective before, now it's completely off the rails: she doesn't let you do any work, especially the type of work that consists in moving stuff or dealing with heavy things.

First months of the pregnancy are easy and she lets you do most things if you feel like it, although you can always sense her glare following your presence. Koyou is just making sure you are alright since you have to be careful with pregnancy, but she doesnt wish for you to feel like a burden or anything like that.

She will also keep your hair out of the way when you are vomiting, and gently caress your back in a soothing manner to help you out. Koyou is nice and gentle with you, she will probably make some tea for helping you to feel better

The more the pregnancy goes on, the more Koyou becomes more strict and careful she becomes: like I said before you can’t most tiring work, and she will demand someone to help you out or to be around you if she isn’t in the vicinity.  

Will also accompany you to whatever visit you have to make, especially if she gets to boss around people who dare to disrespect you or take too much of your time. No stranger will touch your belly without Koyou's approval, unless they went their hand off their arm…

And also whoever doctor dares gets too comfortable for her liking, she has no problem reminding them of their place especially since they are the best doctor in the place, but also deeply connected to the best. Of course, you only get the best of the best💜

But Koyou is so sweet and caring with you it makes everyone jealous: she cooks every meal for you, or asks very well known chefs, gently caressing your belly while murmuring stuff to the baby, making sure the chair is always the most comfortable and with the fluffies cushion, she never rises her voice against you in any possible way, she will even message your feet if it hurts too badly

Likes to spoils you, but that's even before you got pregnant. Koyou buys you clothes that you feel more comfortable in, clothes for the baby, toys, and even starts mumbling about having a nursery room or something like it, while you are probably thinking that you wanted to buy something for the baby too… she wouldn't let you

Takes off some days to take care of you too, and would probably remind you to have a little hobby or something to pass time during the pregnancy period. Koyou would show you many hobbies, would also try some too if you ask her, just to spend some time together

If the doctor allows it, then she is willing to let you go to a vacancy during your last months and even pay for most of it, since you will probably complain if she pays all of it. Not that she minds it, in the end, the vacancy is for you to relax so why worry over how much money you spent? Just let her.

Guys i have the sirius to my remus. I spend a lot of time in my head and i feel horrible a lot of the time. I dont like when people pay a lot of attention to me because it freaks me out, like they’ll find out something i dont want them to. I worry a lot and im crazy insecure. My bsf, whom i love, is very loud about his care. Dont get me wrong, im not at all complaining, i love him sm and i love that he cares about me. Its just overwhelming sometimes bc i feel like he makes a bigger deal out of some of my issues than they actually are. Hes protective and very expressive when hes worried about someone. Hes contantly asks me if im okay, checks up and asks if ive eaten properly, etc. hes more, forcedul in his care ig is the bast way i can explain in. Kind of hurried, as if ill disapear if he doesnt do something immedeatly. And i love that about him, truely, hes amazing, but i respond better to silent care. Which is what this boy does for me. He listens, he LIKES it when i ramble, he never talks over me, and hes quiet about his care in the best ways possible. When i told him about some home issues he didnt freak out, he made light of the situation and it was exactly what i needed. Theres issues in my life that i have never even said out loud, things im utterly terrified to tell anyone ever. And its like this guy knows exactly what i need. If i were gonna tell anyone these things it would be him. He doesnt make it a big deal, he doesnt ask anything else from me, just silently listens to what i tell him. Hes so gentle and sweet and caring in so many ways. The first timw i cried in fromt of him, it was terrifying bc i hate crying in front of people. He then told me im a pretty crier, and that make me feel so good. Like that calmed my worries instantly. I know he doesnt judge me and fuck its beautiful. I love him so much, hes perfect to me. Like if there was a person who was made to fit the final peice in my puzzle, it was him. However, im not putting him on soem sort of perfect petastole. Hes not perfect, never has been, hes awkward and silly and doesnt know how to respond to a lot of things. He has issues and struggles, things hes scared of and his limits, like every other human. But none of that matters, you know? Like i know hes not perfect but that doesnt make him any less to me. Hes the same guy that makes me grin stupidly when he tells me he loves it when i tell him about the stars. Hes the same guy that didnt talk to me for three days bc he was socially exhausted. Hes the same guy that still came back and asks me to hang out when he has some silly idea. Hes the same guy that was there for me when i came out to my family and comforted me when i was overhwelmed with my emotions. Silences between us arent awkward, we can just BE with each other. Like sit in the same room for hours and not speak and it not be even slightly wierd. Ive had a crush on him since we became friends like three years ago. I dont know if he feels the same at all. But i dont need him to return those feelings. I dont need to date him, i dont need anything more from him. His friendship is all i could ever hope for and its even better because hes become such a CLOSE friend in these years. He means more to me than he will ever know and i am perfectly content with what we have right now. We plan to move in together when we’re older and adopt disabled pets bc they deserve love too. We have ideas on how our household will work and who will do what. I dont want any of that to change, i will never need more from this man. I love him, i dont know in what way but it doesnt matter. Its the samw no matter what.

i thought for a long time today on how to reply to this. or if i should. get asks like this that are triggering can be very tricky to navigate, because on one had it is hard for me. and on the other, i care and have sympathy for you. and i think sometimes, it is easier to reach out to stranger about how you feel than people you love. so i would never blame you for that, or want to make you feel worse.

mostly, i want to say i am unqualified to help you completely. because im just a person who's live a vague concept of a life. take my words with a grain of salt.

i think the most important thing for you to remember is that everything you are experiencing is temporary. and i dont say that to dismiss you, but because i think it worth examining everything in your life and thinking that when it gets to be too much. you are worrying about so much at once, but you'll disillusion yourself in that process.

suffering, pain, excitement, joy. these are all very temporary things to feel, even when they seem like they'll go on forever. they are big, abstract concepts that will torment you near relentless if you let them. the only thing that you have with you concretely, is what you are able to do right now.

i wont tell you that life will immediately get better because to make a life that doesn't make you suffer takes so much time. it is so much work to build a good life and it is constant work - but never impossible. but i think it will quell the pain a little to take a deep breath and slow down to process what you're experiencing, which is a big brush of hopelessness that is so encompassing.

everything feels hopeless because you trying to tackle everything all at once. to me, it doesn't sound like you want to die. it sounds like you want it to be easier. it sounds like you want to burden the lessen, which ultimately means you desire a life. and you sound like you're trying very hard to do that all while worrying about everything else at the same time.

i dont know if i have any advice for you. any good advice, but if i could urge you do anything - it would be to take a deep breath and remember it will pass. it always does. and after that, sort your problems out one by one. and once you've done it, pick the thing that is most urgent that you can change, and start to work towards it. do it slowly and try to keep everything else out of your mind.

if you fail, forgive yourself. you have to forgive yourself. sometimes, the only thing you are able to do is live. or try to live. that doesn't make you useless. no human beings worth is measured by what they can and cannot do. you wouldn't love someone based on what they do but who they are.

and maybe you don't like who you are. maybe your friends aren't the right fit. maybe it will be lonely for a while. you can change it. you can find something new or maybe it will teach you to like your own company. it will pass and you will come out of the other side. but the only way to change those things is to try, and sometimes fail, and to forgive yourself after that and then try more. the world is not ending you just have to take it one day at a time.

it will be fine because everything passes unwillingly. and eventually this will just be another bad day. you're not useless. give yourself some grace for trying. and i hope it gets easier.

I honestly wouldn't be complaining about Europeans so much if it weren't for the fact that I've been drowning in European hypocrisy nearly on a daily basis for more than half a decade now.

But most of my classmates are from mainland European countries like France, Belgium, Germany, Poland, or Sweden, and then there's the Icelanders I work with. And half the time when I say I'm from the U.S. they immediately make some really inappropriate remark like "haha at least I'm not from bang bang shooty gun land, I'm from a REAL country that has healthcare and gun control 🤣" with no regard for how rude and deranged that is to say to someone they barely know.

And I always get the feeling that they expect me to start self flagellating and going "haha yes you're so right!! I'm from the country of inbred hillbillies and we all willfully choose to go without healthcare and to die in school shootings because we're such dumb backwards hillbillies! 😌" Because they always look a little shocked when I don't do that and actually push back or even tell them they're being rude.

And the thing is I've spoken with other Americans who live in Northern or Western Europe, and they've all had similar experiences.

And often the same exact Europeans who do this will later say the most nauseatingly racist/xenophobic/ECT. remarks and expect me to still see them as superior and more progressive.

I would be very happy to stay in my own lane and not say a word on European racism and xenophobia. But the hypocrisy I drown in every day is driving me insane and if I stay quiet I'll fucking lose it.

ah i see maybe i misunderstood. it was about how europeans talk about the usa, not about others? to be fair as a german when i was meeting foreigners from the uk or australia for example they would make nazi/hitler jokes to me as well sometimes. didnt find it appropriate or liked it either but i think thats just different levels of sensitivity. i wouldnt think its racist/xenophobic because westerners joking about westerners even if its bad/insensitive/inappropriate jokes is not kicking downwards (the hitler jokes are often mocking the holocaust though which is blatantly antisemitic). but i understand where you are coming from now.

generally i think that usamericans are the most adament about political correctness, and that yall dont deal well with bluntness. i agree though its very inappropriate to mock someone for their countries lack of healthcare or gun violence. i think it has kind of become a „meme“ online as well to slam school shootings into any usamerican persons face. thats not okay. i think many are sick of usamerican hegemony and falsely think its okay to attack usamericans for it when you are also suffering from usamerican politics. so yeah i wouldnt say europeans have more (or less) issues with xenophobia and racism than the usa and canada but its possible some people are more blatant and blunt with it here.

also, the european union (which is not all of europe) is self-advertising as this progressive and peaceful organisation when they spend billions to let people drown in the ocean who just want a better life, for example, and people who are either centrist or apolitical believe this shit, and think they live in progressiveland without reflecting on their own biases. the right-wing is very critical of the european union and want it gone, and theyre the most unhinged when it comes to racism. and i think the european left is just very usa-critical, which i could see leading to misguided comments.

so my immediate thoughts went to this: in a very very much nicer universe, mick is going to merc after this season. but before its announced, news on the paddock are wild. because the merc seat is free, nobody is signed yet and there are many candidates and its so late into the season already. and mick also hasn't signed a contract yet, but most people are sure that hes gonna sign with haas simply because thats the easiest route right? he improved, he knows the team and he knows what its like to be a leader. so everyone is sure of it and completely crosses him out of the merc talks.

but toto sees his potential and he talks to lewis to hear his thoughts and they spend many days speaking about it and lewis, not that he was the one to decide, is on board and ready to drive with a younger driver with less experience and excited for it and obviously also very happy for mick. and hes happy that he gets to keep his promise to sebastian that hed take care of mick. and so they sign mick, whos so excited and honored and cant keep his feet still, can't wait for the season to be over and start working with his team. and the night before lewis calls seb and tells him and hes so happy.

and then they start working together, testing and in the sim and doing everything. and lewis is prepared to do a bit more, since mick has been at haas before and is so young and needs a leading hand so hes super surprised when mick gives it his all. stays longer than everyone else, asks every question there is and, while trying to understand & learn as much as possible, wants to get to know and be a part of the team. and its a perfect fit and they work so well together.

and seb sits at home, enjoying his new life and the time he has, just occasionally missing life on the grid, especially when his phone rings and lewis calls him to jokingly complain about mick (he just wants a reason to call seb) or when he gets a photo mick secretly took of lewis in a debrief. 🧦

please this idea is so fucking cute I love it so much.

and yeah for sure merc mick would completely engrain himself into the merc family, he'd probably be a bit shocked at first because 'oh fuck this is uh, a bit of a bigger team' but hes still determined to know everyones name and birthday and he buys coffee every morning for his own team and he remembers the coffee orders and he builds himself into the team.

mick at merc has so much potential to be so important and mick trying and doing so much because he has this need to be good and better and know because thats all he can do and his dad always said his team is what helps him win so he needs to know and mick trying so so hard.

happy july kate 💖 hope you're doing well. as a long time lurker of your blog, you and your work has slowly highlighted my need to create and work on my creativity, especially when it comes to things i loved to do before such as drawing and writing. ngl it's been hard because ive been comparing myself to other artists and writers. for example i saw someone write this beautiful dragon-pheonix reincarnation fic for their ship. the plot, prose and the way everything intertwined was beautiful (1/?)

(2/?) but i look at myself and can barely muster up the courage to write vecause how could i when there's already people who write and draw that well. a lot of my perfectionism comes from past abuse but the way it's manifesting here is such a pain. therapy has helped in healing but god, im so scared to start. have you ever caught yourself in a similar dilemma?

(3/?) another thing i wanted to ask about is how do you approach incorporating other people's analysis and stuff into your own work? obviously give credit where it's due but im always wondering whether it's worth it to be reiterating the same stuff when someone has already done a comprehensive job of it. i guess an example could be lore related to some kind of show or game.

(4/?) last question but do you ever catch yourself justifying your ship? there's like 50 different reasons you can ship characters,,,, maybe I spend too much on twitter but I feel like I have to justify a lot or at least there's an expectation to do that. it makes it harder for me to enjoy other ships (even the ones i dont care for) because now im expecting others to justify for all the same reasons. perhaps i need a fandom break or need to set better boundaries

Hi Lurker! Oh, I can relate for sure. I think most writers/artists can.

I'm not sure my advice will be anything you haven't already heard, but I can tell you that by living it I know it's true: write it/draw it anyways. Imperfect, sure. Nothing is perfect, and art is subjective. There are so many needs, and no artpiece can satisfy every soul on this planet.

Do it anyways. Even if it's not perfect. You'll get better and better without even realizing it. You'll have moments where you're like I'M REGRESSING *cries* and then someone will tell you this was their favorite thing ever. Art isn't a static thing you just create and leave alone; it's more like an interactive thing, a living thing even at the risk of sounding super fucking cheesy--because it impacts people in different ways, ways we can't predict when creating it. And the act of creating it will impact you, too.

As for the analysis part, give credit and write it on your own. You learn by writing--sometimes it's fun and you'll realize oh hey, I just uncovered something new as I was writing that I hadn't even thought of!

As for justifying, sometimes? And sometimes not. Less so the older I get, lol, and I don't think it's a great thing ever to feel like you have to morally justify everything from each and every potential dislike. Just accept that other people have different tastes, limits, and preferences--which of course is way easier said than done! Give yourself grace and allow yourself to rant from time to time (privately). Art does affect our emotions, and it's good to express those (just not good to be an asshat about it or judge people for it, but expressing "I don't like this opinion" privately to a friend isn't that).

Twitter is the worst for that, though. Everyone's jockeying to be the Most Moral and Change the World Through Yelling At Others You Don't Even Know on there, and I hate it so much. Even as I, y'know, go on pretty much every day and therefore have no right to complain. I do this to myself. Sue me. I'm human too and def a hypocrite for participating in the Bird Site Madness but oh well.

Wow, that's a tangent. Anyways. We're all just doing the best we can, Lurker. Even if you can't quite bring yourself to start art yet, or to stop comparing, give yourself some grace for that. It doesn't make you a loser and it doesn't mean you never will start. All of us have those moments--moments that seem way longer than they should, I'm afraid.

But you know you want to make something. That's good. You deserve to have your voice heard, to follow what you want. The abilities you want to cultivate deserve time and space to grow. You deserve to make imperfect art because you deserve to be here, because you're alive and life is growing and all people should have their voices heard. <3
