On any normal day (Y/n) didn't mind the chaos the boys caused her, after all they were under a lot of pressure, so she let them unwind while cleaning up after them. But today was not one of those days. Ever since the preparations for the next Blue Lock phase started she felt like they were more and more chaotic, while she was losing herself more and more in all of her work. The whole week was just a whole mess for her, from running errands for Anri and Ego, to breaking up fights between the teammates, she just felt like giving up. Right now, she was enjoying some quiet time in the lunch hall, just drinking some tea while fighting back sleep.

"This morning was so tiring...." She winced while grabbing her stomach. This morning, Rin accidentally kicked the football past the goal, which ended up hitting (Y/n) in the stomach. This caused a loud argument between the captain, Isagi and Barou. (Y/n) tried to stop them, but the fussing coming from Aryu and Hiori stopped her. She was annoyed that they didn't let her handle the issue, instead Kurona and Yukimiya ended up dragging her toward the infirmary.

Next thing that happened was an hour after the first incident. Karasu and Otoya were practicing with Bachira and Aryu, (Y/n) was as usually sitting and taking down the stats of the 4. Nothing unusual. Until Bachira decided to goof around with the football and yell at (Y/n) to watch him do some tricks. She admitted, they were impressive, and she commented on how great they are. Her comments along with the impressed look on her face caused the other three to start doing the same. The problem was that there were 4 of them and (Y/n) would have to look every 2 seconds at a different player, which did make her dizzy. Ego had noticed the commotion and yelled at all 5 of them to get back to training.

The 3rd incident happened barely an hour ago at lunch time. (Y/n) was sitting with Gagamaru, Isagi and Chigiri during the time, and while talking with the 3, she didn't notice an argument between Kunigami and Nagi unfolding. Everyone knew that (Y/n) barely ever ate her dessert, it had too much protein, so she would always left it to one of the players to eat. The dessert was pretty much the highlight of their day and the team agreed on whoever got the most points for the day, will get the sweet treat. This arrangement worked for 2 months, but today was the first time that two players were tied in points.

Kunigami and Nagi were both known to be level headed and somewhat apathetic towards everything, except when it comes to their manager and her attention,  that's when both are pretty much irrational.

"I think you seem to misunderstood me, Nagi. I am getting it today." Kunigami said, sending a tight smile towards the albino.

"And you seemed to have misunderstood me, Kunigami. But that pudding is mine."

"Calm down, you two." Niko rolled his eyes, still mad that he lost this time.

(Y/n), blissfully unaware of that whole agreement, noticed Gagamaru staring at her dessert. Knowing she won't eat it anyways, she decided to give it to him.

"Here. I won't eat. Hope you like strawberry flavor." She said, handing the surprised Gagamaru her food.

Chigiri and Isagi gasped silently. They shortly sent the flustered goalie jealous glares before looking at Kunigami and Nagi, who were staring degers at Gagamaru.

"A-are you sure?" The boy asked as (Y/n) nodded her head, smiling warmly at the boy.

"Of course-"

"Gagamaru, you traitor!" The two flinched and looked in surprise at Nagi.

"Ha?" (Y/n) panicked a little as she saw Kunigami and Nagi glaring at the duo.

"Keep it down, you two." Reo rolled his eyes, earning a nod from Tokimitsu.

"M-maybe we should let Gagamaru have-"

"Shut it, Tokimitsu!" Kunigami and Nagi yelled and then started arguing with Gagamaru. It eventually spread across the whole lunch room, and (Y/n) started twitching a little. Nobody was listening to her as she tried to calm it down. Was it the exhaustion or pure desperation to shut everyone up, but (Y/n) eventually started crying silently. Lost in her own thoughts while crying, she wasn't paying attention to what the rest were saying.

"I am the fastest. The dessert is mine!" Chigiri earned a show from Aryu at that.

"You forget I was in the top3 and I am the one with the better hair."

"Oh, shut up you peasants! You all are beneath me and (Y/n), therefore the pudding is mine."

"Says who? You, Barou? You do not have the charm to be anywhere near (Y/n)."

"Otoya, you cheated on your girlfriends. What makes you think you are worthy?" Yukimiya sighed.

"And what about you, Yukimiya? You are so plain, there is no way she will fall for you. Now me on the other hand-"

"Oh, shut up Karasu. Your charms are below Antarctica's temperatures." Niko groaned.

"I think the cutest one of us should get the pudding. So me-"

"Bachira, that would be me. I am also the ace, so that's just a bonus." Isagi smiled, earning a glare from Rin

"Pipe it down, you two can barely pick up a 2nd language." The captain added in.

"English is hard." The two protested.

"I think the richest one should have a say in the dessert." Reo smirked, earning louder protests.

Tokimitsu shivered a little in fright and looked over at (Y/n), freezing for a moment as he saw her crying.

"What's up, Tokimitsu?" Hiori wondered, one of the few who decided not to argue. Kurona looked over to where Tokimitsu was looking, and his eyes widened in surprise as he saw her crying too. He nudged Hiori.

"Look." Kurona said and the cyan-haired boy looked at (Y/n). He wasted no time and ran to her side, followed by Tokimitsu and Kurona.

"He-hey, don't take it to heart. They are stupid like that." Tokimitsu said as he patted the sobbing girl's back. Kurona and Hiori moved closer, both trying to calm her down, all three felt their hearts breaking as they watched her cry. The room grew slowly quiet too, as the rest looked at (Y/n) in concern and guilt.

"(Y/n)...." Chigiri gulped.

"It's just hard to keep up with you all. You keep arguing and destroying things at times... and it's just hard to keep up... I can usually take it, but I guess today isn't my day." A wave of guilt hit the team as they quickly scrambled for the right words. The last thing they wanted was for their (Y/n) to cry, or worse, contemplate on leaving them.

"Tokimitsu, go and take (Y/n) somewhere quiet to calm down. The rest of you stay here." Rin said, quickly getting unto his captain mode. The rest said nothing, deciding not to make things worse, and they watched with guilt and sadness as (Y/n) got dragged out by Tokimitsu.

"Alright, listen up." Rin spoke up, causing the rest to look at him.

"We need to pull our shit together, unless we want (Y/n) to leave and for some other manager to replace her. The team pretty much shuddered at the idea, there was no way someone will replace her!

"So, what's your idea, captain?" Barou wondered.

"I will tell you, but first... Reo, I need you to do some calls." The billionaire heir raised his eyebrow and slowly nodded his head.

And soo, that was what had happened. (Y/n) ended up crying for about 30 minutes as Tokimitsu stayed around, just in case. The boy was collected and calm, no sign of his previous fidgety demeanor. After she calmed down, she apologized to Tokimitsu for inconveniencing him, but the boy didn't mind.

"If you feel down again, don't be afraid to tell us. We will listen." The boy said with a smile, which calmed her down a lot.

After lunch, she went back to her normal duties, helping the other staff members and the team out. To her surprise, they didn't cause any ruckus, they were calm and friendly. Even Rin, Isagi and Barou stayed away from arguing with each other. Unbeknownst to her, whenever a staff member tried to scold her, Karasu, Aryu and Nagi would send them warning glares. They alone caused them to back off quickly. All in all, the day went pretty well, and (Y/n) felt a lot lighter now. She slowly walked into her bedroom, and stopped at the entrance as she noticed a box on her bed. Slowly walking towards it, she looked at the note on the box and slowly started reading it. (Y/n)'s eyes widened a little as she read it through, realizing that the team sent her this, and her heart melted at the apology they wrote out.

'They are chaotic... but I love them like that.' She smiled and slowly opened the box, only to find various treats that she could only buy outside of Blue Lock's facility, she even got a small (f/c) bear.

'They probably made Reo get this...' She chuckled and plopped on the bed, hugging the bear close to herself.

'I will make it up to them... maybe Teieri-san can help me get them some small gift next week.' She thought, slowly falling asleep.

In hindsight, Fernando realizes it probably wasn't the best decision to take the kid home from the bar. Nothing good happens in Manhattan on a Thursday after 11pm, and especially not when the next day involves a quarterly presentation that his team has been scrambling to put together for months, now. If he were smarter, maybe he'd have called it a night after the last toast with his analysts. Hell, maybe he wouldn't have shown up at all.

The thing is, right after their row of chairs at the bar had cleared, Fernando had turned to look for one of the senior leadership teams and ended up with a face full of unidentifiable blazer--which had, of course, ended up being Lance. Lance, who'd apologized and introduced himself blandly but with a glint in his eye. Lance, who'd offered to buy Fernando a drink with a dark, raised brow that'd been urging him on.

Lance, who's now dragging him to the too-small bathroom at the back of the bar like his life depends on it. Fernando is far too many drinks in to protest such a blessing, this stranger and his big hands pawing at his belt like a desperate puppy: he'll just have to roll with it instead. "Easy," he chuckles, voice sounding distant to his own ears, "easy, princesa, this is my nicest suit." It's not, really, but Lance doesn't need to know that. They have to slow it down or he's going to make a mess of--well, of himself. It's been a long time since he hooked up with someone like this in a bathroom of all places. He's not 27 anymore.

"Really?" His companion's voice is breathy but clearly disbelieving, both brows now arched at his words. "It's not that nice." Fernando is too drunk to be immediately irritated, which works in his favor, because in a beat Lance's face breaks into a shit-eating grin, head thunking back against the stall carelessly, like he knows what he's doing. "I've wiped my ass with nicer."

Such an asshole. Fernando huffs a half-formed laugh, then thwacks his arm heavily into Lance's chest, knocking a little uff from him. "You talk too much," he counters, forcing his weight into Lance a little more. The low groan of approval he gets in return just makes him put a little more effort into it. "What, is playing with daddy's money not enough for you?" The younger man's eyes seem to glaze over at his tone. "You want to see what it is like to do real work, hm, is that it." Fernando's not going to bother trying to make this work here and now--he's going to drag this rich pretty boy back to his apartment on 57th Street, and he's going to fuck all this haughty, smug energy right out of him.

Lance goes easily, and the night passes all too quickly. The mess left behind when he scrabbles for his now-filthy blazer and all but disappears from Fernando's place before dawn is the only proof he'd ever been there in the first place. It's probably for the better, anyway: he's now working against the clock to put himself together and keep all of his Q4 talking points in relative order instead of think about the noises he'd ripped from that stranger sharing his bed all night.

He's going to secure that end-of-year bonus for his team the moment he walks through the conference room doors--

of course, that's before he sees Lance sitting in that same now-clean blazer at the end of the table, seated next to Fernando's CEO and picking at his nails uninterestedly.

Out of all the haikyuu teams, I think platonic yandere shiratorizawa would be scariest, followed very closely by nekoma. Shiratorizawa has a brick wall for a captain, an insane coach, and tendou. Tendou would be such an effective manipulator without even batting an eye. Nekoma has Kuroo, very intimidating and smart, although I think kenma would be the bigger threat. He likely has extensive knowledge of how to move through online spaces without being detected and making their darling disappear completely.

Its time like these that you really test your luck and tell him you're going out and zoom before Ushijima could give you the "The Look". However, Ushijima catches your hand before you could be two feet away and gives it a firm squeeze until you look at him, before saying in a deep voice "No." to really drive home the point. Then you're being dragged back to the bench, pushed down and he drops his lunch box in your lap, telling you to finish it before he finishes practice.

As for Tendou, lying comes very easy to him. He's a master manipulator, not just to you, but to everyone around him. Basically, he not only manipulates you into staying with the team longer, but he also manipulates the team into becoming more yanderes for you. In the shower room, he'd think out loud as he says that he heard that there's a murderer on the loose that preys upon young girls like you, or maybe he'd say that he heard from a girl that you feel so lost and stupid and scared when you're not the team but you're just to prideful to admit it. Surely, Tendou won't lie when it comes to you, right?

Washijo, the crazy coach you mentioned? Yeah, he's in on the whole thing. The reason why Shiratorizawa is so scary is because they're one of the top teams, right? So, the school actually condones their behaviour. I mean, the coach explicitly told them to turn a blind eye because the team isn't hurting you, they're just protecting you. Washijo told them that if they interfered, the team wouldn't perform as well because they'd be distracted by your absence, and if Shiratorizawa let you change schools, then the team would pull out of the games altogether. I'm not doing it if i'm not captain” He looked even more bewildered “How didnt you get captain you were the best on the team?” This made me feel worse because the reasoning was so stupid. “They said my attitude was too bad. I got benched the entire last game because I told the ‘helper’ coach to shut the fuck up, my dad is not happy about that one” Chris broke out into a fit of laughter.

After an hour of just talking about everything his phone lit up on the bed with a call from Matthew, I insisted he answered because it was his brother. “Hello” he said, putting the phone on speaker “Hey where are you? I'm home” I knew he knew where Chris was, he just wanted to say it. “I am at Y/N’s, we left the dance a while ago, did you even go?” Chris asked clearly to get the tea for me. “No, I dropped Maddy off right after the call with Y/N, are you guys going to the party?” Chris looked at me, I had forgotten about the party but now a part of me wanted to go “Mattttt” I said jumping on the bed next to Chris “Yes Pickle?” Matt said, already knowing what I was going to ask, “Can you come get us for the partyyyy” I dragged out my words ``Of course, be ready in half an hour.” Matt hung up as I jumped up smiling at Chris, who also got up to get ready.

I threw on a pair of gray sweatpants and a black long sleeve crop top and a pair of my dirty converse, Chris was basically matching with his sweatpants and a white T-shirt. I made him take a quick mirror selfie with me before posting it on my story and closing out my phone again. Matt arrived and I ran into my dads room to tell him I was leaving with the boys and we would be back later. I raced Chris to the front seat and he ultimately ended up beating me.

“Okay buckle up now” Matt said as I looked at him literally wearing the exact same outfit as me with white af 1’s. We literally looked like the three musketeers.

“Y/N don't get too drunk, stay with one of us or in our eyeline” Matt said as we walked into the party, I nodded seeing as the last time I got drunk I got socked in the face. We walked in and I immediately saw Haylee and ran up to her. “Peaches!” I yelled, wrapping her in a hug. She hugged me back and stepped back to look at me “You are alive, you just disappeared at the dance!” I nodded at her totally forgetting I never told her I was leaving. “Yes sorry I left early with Chris” I turned back pointing towards him and Matt who were smoking with some kid from our grade. “Ohhhh” She said wiggling her eyebrow, I hit her shoulder “Not like that douche” We both started giggling before walking away to go get some drinks.I poured some svedka in a cup and mixed it with sprite as a chaser while Haylee poured us each shots of kinky. We downed the shots pouring another. “Hey Y/N” Nick said, coming up behind me dragging out my name. “Nicky!” I jumped in his arms and he laughed at my excitement “Where's my brothers?” He asked looking around, I shrugged “I don't know, they are supposed to be watching me but they are doing a terrible job” Nick nodded walking away, Me and Haylee walked over to one of the couches, there was only one free spot so Haylee sat down while I sat on her lap.

“Y/N, Where the fuck have you been” Matt said as he grabbed the back of my arm standing me up off Haylee’s lap “You are not doing a very good job watching me” I giggled knowing the alcohol I had been drinking has finally hit, but I felt the buzzing feeling leave my system as a girl walked up next to Matt. Maddy. “OH MY FUCKING GOD” I yelled out “Shes like your fucking shadow dude, get a grip bitch” I pointed the last part of my statement towards her “Excuse me” She said walking closer to Matt. “You heard me, everywhere he goes you follow like a lost puppy, news flash if he hasnt fucked you yet, ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN” I put my hands in the air as I finished my sentence while Matt looked at me with nothing but anger behind his eyes. Chris came up behind me along with Haylee and I decided to keep going “And if you keep giving me your nasty fucking looks you have one of two options” I stopped throwing up two fingers at her “Ill either fuck Matt and make him forget all about you, or I will stomp your face so far into the ground youll come back with an australian accent” Chris chocked back a giggle at the last part. I didn't even know where Australia was on the map; it was just the first thing that popped into my head. “You're just a bitch, maybe you should take the hint and realize that Matt doesn't actually like you” She was trying her best to make me feel bad but I had an adrenaline rush that happened anytime I argued with someone, it was like my body was always ready for a fight. “That's crazy because last I checked it was always MY bed he ended up in, not yours” I finally looked back at Matt’s face and man I already knew I was getting an earful when we left here. “Oh and-” I went to say more but Matt put his hand over my mouth and practically threw me over his shoulder. “LOOK WHO HES LEAVING WITH BITCH” I yelled right at the door as she stared at us Chris one step behind and Haylee laughing where I left her.

“ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING” Matt yelled as I sat in the back seat, I slumped down in my seat. “I warned you all if she didn't keep her distance I was saying something” I looked up at the review and anger was still all over Matta face “I thought it was funny” Chris said causing me to start laughing “Matt bring me home I need to sleep in my own bed tonight” Chris said Matt nodded going to their house first leaving me in the car “He’ll be back out, we have practice tomorrow but maybe Ill see you tomorrow night” Chris said leaning in the backseat hugging me. I returned the hug crawling into the front seat. “We really need to talk when we get back. I need to get high before I even attempt that.” He said pulling out a blunt and pulling out of his driveway, he rolled the windows down and we passed the blunt back and forth driving around for an hour before finally making our way back to my house. I knew that this talk was going to go either very poorly or great.

weird question but do you know any place i can find a summary of chapter 5? or if you have one? i dont like vil so i cant really make myself sit and read the whole chapter but i wanna move forward and read chapter 6 but ALSO feel like i should know the important plot points so im not like "wtf is going on"

I mean 🥲 I don’t like Vil either, but I’d still highly encourage you to read episode 5! Getting a summary isn’t really the same as experiencing the story for yourself; the visuals, songs, and voice acting really helps to sell the emotions and the stakes. Who knows, maybe you’ll leave episode 5 with a little more appreciation for Vil (or the other characters; they all have various cute or heroic moments)? He’ll come back to play a major role in episode 6 anyway, and his character moments won’t hit as hard if you didn’t read 5. For example, there’s a particular line of Rook’s in 5 that Vil repeats in 6 which really hammers home his character development since 5.

… Although I won’t lie, episode 5 has veeery slow pacing because it’s basically one long, dragged out training arc 😂 so I’ll summarize what happens anyway; just know that I’d still recommend actually playing through the story yourself, especially if any of these plot points seem too cool or too interesting to not witness yourself. I’ll be glossing over things that aren’t relevant to the main conflict, so 💦 please keep that in mind!

Sooo Yuu starts off Book 5: A Beautiful Tyrant by finally starting to put the pieces together; they visit the Great Seven statues and confirm their own suspicions that the figures in their dreams are the same as the people depicted in the G7 statues (though their actions are framed as more “evil” in the dreams).

Yuu tells Adeuce and Grim about Mickey! They suggest that Yuu takes a picture of Mickey with the Ghost Camera so they can use it to investigate who or what he is.

There’s a dorm leader meeting to give exposition about an upcoming event. NRC will be having a two-day cultural festival in about two months! They will put on a bunch of activities, as well as showcase their clubs and give presentations on the art and research their students have produced.

One of the biggest events is the Vocal and Dance Championship (VDC). In EN, this has been changed to Song and Dance Championship (SDC), so I will refer to it by the English name to avoid confusion. It’s basically the music industry equivalent to what the Magical Shift/Spelldrive tournament was in episode 2; it’s a golden opportunity to launch many people’s singing careers in the entertainment industry. (A lot of talent agencies will apparently clamor to sign you on for a professional debut if you’re a SDC finalist!) The favorites to win this year are Vil and Neige Leblanche (twisted from Snow White).

I won’t mention every single time this happens, but throughout the chapter Vil has these segments where he asks his phone assistant Mira (TWST Alexa or Siri, basically) who the fairest of them all is. Mira always replies with “Neige Leblanche”, which seems to greatly frustrate Vil.

Anyway, Adeuce and Grim are interested in entering SDC because if the team representing their school makes it to the finals, they’ll get a cash prize of 50,000 thaumarks (5 million madol in JP).

Ace and Grim are pumped about trying out for NRC’s team, but Deuce is hesitant and bails.

The group eats lunch and then chills in the courtyard; it’s here that they hear singing and follow the song. It was Epel who was singing down a well (a Snow White reference), because he thought the well would help project his voice more clearly.

Deuce recognizes Epel as the crying boy he ran into at the end of episode 4! Epel says he recognizes Yuu and co. from the Magical Shift/Spelldrive tournament; he also heard about them from his classmate Jack.

Epel tells them about how his dorm leader Vil wants him to practice singing and that he’ll be a part of the SDC auditions. However, it seems that Epel isn’t eager to do this (which Deuce notices).

Vil comes to check on Epel and catches him talking to Yuu and co,; he is disappointed in Epel for “slacking off” and tries to drag him off. When Epel resists, Vil reminds him of a promise they made, which makes Epel fall into line.

Ace, ever the nosy one, picks a fight with Vil (because he doesn’t think he should be bossing Epel around). Epel begs everyone to not do it, but they fight anyway and Vil is, of course, victorious.

This reinvigorates Deuce’s motivation to be in SDC; he wants to help Epel, who seemed to be so hesitant about taking part.

Adeuce and Grim practice dancing on the basketball court. Here they run into Kalim and Jamil, who are also planning on auditioning since they already enjoy singing and dancing. The Scarabia boys give some pointers on dancing to Adeuce and Grim.

Azul shows up; he needed to find Jamil (they’re classmates) because Professor Trein needed his help with handing papers out. The boys banter a bit and Azul reveals that he was bluffing in episode 4 about live streaming Jamil’s breakdown and OB to the world. Only the Scarabia dorm members are aware of the incident.

Tying up loose ends from the ending of 4!! Kalim was able to convince everyone to let Jamil stay on as vice and to give him a second chance. Jamil claims that he is behaving for now to atone what he did, though he also says he will work hard to prove his worth.

The Scarabia boys tell Adeuce to sign up for SDC auditions via a “Rook Hunt”, who is in class 3-A. They go and do this and uh (well, Leona cameo but that’s not important) 🤡 well, Rook does what he does best and spooks them.

Cut to the VDC auditions! We see other competitors, one of which is Lilia (who delivered a holiday card from “M.D.” to Yuu) and Cater! They share some tea about the mysterious Shroud brothers, who enrolled at the same time and seem to do everything together.

Cater wants to show Grim a video, but he’s forced to sit through an ad first. It’s an advertisement for an apple soda featuring Neige (who, if you’ll recall, is one of the favorites to win SDC).

We get to hear various characters (Cater, Ruggie, Kalim, Jamil, Epel, Ortho, and Lilia) sing part of TWST’s opening song, Piece of My World!

Auditions wrap up and at first Vil wants to pick only the best performers, a she believes this will give him the greatest chance of beating Neige. However, Rook stops him and suggests that he instead pick people who are rough around the edges so Vil can polish them to perfection. Rook points out that he sees a lot of potential in Adeuce in particular.

Rook shoots an arrow at Adeuce with a letter attached to it letting them know they passed auditions, so they should report to Pomefiore dorm. Yuu is also told to come along.

The gang pulls up to Pomefiore and meet Kalim and Jamil there. Turns out the Scarabia duo have also passed!

A bunch of Pomefiore students start attacking them, but they manage to battle their way to Pomefiore’s ballroom where Vil is waiting. This was all a test he arranged so they could prove their worth to him.

So the SDC team is: Vil, Rook, Epel, Jamil, Kalim, Ace, and Deuce.

There’s only a month left until SDC. Crowley wants Yuu to let the NRC team hold their training camp at Ramshackle, since he is convinced that living together will help them build teamwork. He originally thought of holding the camp at Pomefiore, but he didn’t want some students to feel out of their element. They get bribed with a cut of the prize money and the promise of Ramshackle renovations 😂 so Yuu’s like “Okay, sure. C’mon in.”

Everyone moves in, and Vil starts imposing new rules on the SDC team members. For example, he takes away their snacks (including an apple pie and chocolate cake that Trey sent with Adeuce) and says he has designed low calorie yet nutritional meals for them. (I want to be clear here: some people misinterpret this part as “Vil is starving them like Mama Rosehearts starved Riddle!” which is NOT true. Rook says that this is not a diet in that sense, but to help them be in shape. Vil wants them to eat healthily so they can perform at their best.)

Vil gets a phone call from his manager who says he has been offered a role in a biiig movie production… as the villain. The hero for this movie will be played by Neige. Upon learning this, Vil becomes irritated and insists his manager reject the offer. He doesn’t care how much money he could earn from this, he says that all he wants to do is “stand the stage until the very end”. Vil then tells his manager to not contact him again until SDC is over.

It is revealed that the voting for SDC is done via audience poll, not by professional judges. This is an important detail to keep in mind for later.

Vil shows the group an original song (Absolutely Beautiful). In EN, he says he commissioned it but in JP he is more vague with his wording, which has led some fans to conclude that Vil personally worked on producing this song. (Uhhh, they also sing Piece of My World at some point.)

He tries to show them a video to help everyone get a feel for the dance choreography, and another ad featuring Neige plays. The boys talk about how Neige is such a popular celeb these days, and how he’s a student of Royal Sword Academy so that makes him their rival. Vil says something cryptic about how he’ll finally defeat Neige this time.

Vil picks himself, Epel, and Jamil as the main vocalists. Jamil is surprised and starts to say that Kalim should be picked instead of him, but Jamil stops himself and accepts the role.

Epel says he isn’t sure about being picked, but Vil again brings up their promise which makes him comply.

They keep practicing and Epel pisses Vil off when he says the dance is too girly. Vil chews Epel out for having outdated views on gender and then places him on a solo ballet regimen. Deuce asks to join Epel for his ballet lessons!

A ghost delivers 10 crates of apple juice to Epel. This is unsold stock from his family’s business, which is struggling at the moment. They all chill and sip on the apple juice!

Vil interrupts to lecture them on skincare. Ace asks isn’t there magic to make them instantly beautiful? This seems to annoy Vil, who says that he’s not interested in “beauty that only lasts until the strike of midnight”.

Yuu wakes up in the middle of the night to find Kalim singing outside Ramshackle. He confesses that he’s frustrated about not being chosen as a main vocalist. Kalim’s so used to having everything handed to him that the experience of being overlooked surprised him. He says that he wants to try hard so that he will genuinely be picked for something because he’s actually the best choice for it.

It’s revealed that Jamil was listening in on Kalim!

Adeuce sneak bites of Trey’s apple pie and chocolate cake. Vil catches them in the act 🤡 Adeuce suddenly fall over and can’t move!! Vil tells them he put a curse on the baked goods using his unique magic/signature spell. Fairest One of All allows Vil to lay a curse for anything he touches. The conditions he sets must be fulfilled, for even the original caster cannot lift it. (Vil cursed the pie and cake so that if anyone eats it, they cannot move until morning comes.)

Yuu sees Mickey in the mirror again but fails to take a picture of him. They begin to wonder how their original world and Mickey’s may be connected.

This isn’t relevant in the story of 5, but it may be important overall lore-wise. Apparently it is possible to transfer into NRC; Kalim originally did not go to NRC but the dark carriage came for him one month after Jamil enrolled.

Epel becomes frustrated with practice and wants to quit the team. He fights with Vil and loses, prompting Epel to run off.

Deuce suggests maybe Vil be nicer, but Vil snaps that Deuce has no room to be worrying about others or taking back when he’s falling behind the rest of the team. Vil compares Deuce to Ace, saying that the difference between them is too obvious. Ace tells Deuce to focus on himself more, and Deuce gets mad because someone naturally gifted like Ace wouldn’t understand him.

The team is really fractured at this point, so Jamil suggests taking a break. During this break, Rook advises Vil that he show Epel “the power of beauty”, to which Vil agrees.

Rook and Kalim give Deuce a pep talk! It leads Deuce to nabbing a magical wheel (blastcycle?) from Ignihyde and driving himself and Epel to a local beach. (They also see RSA on the way!)

The two shout their frustrations at the sea, and Epel’s dialect comes out full force which shocks Deuce. Epel then explains how he doesn’t want people to underestimate him because of his looks. On his first day (before he was sorted into a dorm), Vil tells him to button up his shirt and comments on his cute face, which causes Epel to instigate a fight.

Vil wins and tells Epel that “the weak obey the strong”, so until Epel is able to beat him, he has to listen to everything Vil says. This explains why Epel usually hides his dialect; Vil says that he doesn’t have a problem with Epel’s love for his hometown, but that there is a time and place for the dialect and his rude attitude. In this case, he must address his superiors properly.

The two first years have a heart-to-heart! Epel talks about wanting to become stronger, and Deuce talks about how how his own strength is how amazingly stupid and stubborn he is.

Epel gets a phone call from his mom!! Their business was suddenly flooded with orders from all over the world, and she says a customer told her it was because of “Vil”, whom Mrs. Felmier recognized as Epel’s dorm leader. She asks him to thank Vil for her.

Vil made a Magicam post featuring the Felmier family apple juice! All of his fans want to try the same juice, so they’re buying it en masse. This is the “power of beauty” Vil wanted to show him, that being beautiful and being strong can be powerful in their own rights, and that until Epel understands that, he can never defeat Vil.

They’re interrupted by some random NPCs that want to ride on Deuce’s (borrowed) ride. The NPCs get aggressive, but Epel is able to catch them off-guard with his cutesy looks. This lets Epel get some hits in!

The NPCs are beating them 😔 but suddenly…?! Deuce’s magical power overflows…!!

We cut to a later point that day when Epel and Deuce return, apologize to Vil, and rejoin the SDC group. Deuce confronts Ace and swears to him that he doesn’t plan on losing to him!

Crowley gives everyone in the team tickets for them to invite people to see the show. Yuu gives their ticket to Malleus.

The cultural festival has arrived at last! Yuu spends some time looking around at the attractions with Grim. We get a bunch of cameos from other characters.

While looking through some of the exhibitions, they see some NRC mob students bullying some short RSA students. The NRC boys intervene, and then Chenya comes to pick up the short kids (which are twisted versions of the Seven Dwarves).

Yuu and co. go to the SDC location (the Purple Stage) for rehearsals. Surprise?! Neige appears!! Vil is curt but professional with him.

NRC does their practice run and, for a brief moment, Vil is considered “most beautiful” (he checks with Mira). Buuut then Neige and the dwarves do their practice run (EN removed the song Minna de Yahoo), and Neige is on top again 😭 (Their performance isn’t even that well-executed, they’re very clumsy and everything. The song also isn’t very unique; it’s an arrangement of a popular children’s song from the Shaftlands. However, it still makes the filming staff feel nostalgic and they gush about how cute Neige is and how pure he makes them feel.)

Vil gets a scary look on his face and leaves; Rook, Kalim, and Jamil notice the look he made 👁️ 👄 👁️ Errr, Vil shatters his phone (“mirror”) in a fit of rage.

Yuu follows Vil backstage because they have a bad feeling. They see Vil offering apple juice from Epel’s family to Neige.

Neige is about to drink it until Rook intervenes and tells him (his “Snow White”) to hurry away because the staff need him. Rook takes the juice for himself and tries to drink it, but then Kalim cuts in and knocks the glass out of his hand.

It starts bubbling on the ground 💀 Vil cursed the apple juice! Kalim says he recognized the face Vil was making; it’s just like Jamil before he went mad over winter break.

Rook says he wanted to drink the juice even knowing it would harm him because he wants to believe that Vil wouldn’t tarnish his beauty and hard work by stooping so low.

The spilled juice vaporizes into a toxic mist, and Vil begins to Overblot 😔 He is different than the previous Overblots in that he is somewhat self-aware of what is happening to him (he shouts at everyone to not look at him, at his “ugliness”; the ugliness here is not literal, Vil is most likely referring to his “ugly” actions (ie the attempt to poison Neige, perhaps even kill him).

Jamil comes on the magic carpet to whisk everyone somewhere safe! He lets them know he used Snake Whisper to get Neige to put on a performance. This performance lured people away to watch him (plus, the first years went around getting rid of loiterers), so the SDC stadium is empty except for OB Vil, Grim, Yuu, and the NRC SDC group.

Deuce saves the day by directing the damage he has taken so far back at Vil…! This is the unique magic/signature spell he unlocked on the beach, Bet the Limit (Double Down in EN).

In the post-OB flashback sequence, we learn that Vil’s dad was a famous actor as well! It seems that Vil has consistently been casted as the villain ever since he started his own acting career. He resents this, because according to him, “a villain never stands on the stage until the very end, they can only watch the happy ending from the sidelines”.

Vil was also bullied in the past, although it is a different kind of bullying than Azul suffered. Other kids assumed he was as cold and cruel as the villains he portrayed in films, dramas, and musicals. (We see young Jack defending Vil!) He worked very hard in hopes of landing a hero role—but he was still never chosen.

Vil wakes up and finds himself upon a ruined Purple Stage. SDC can’t happen like this…

Malleus shows up with his ticket and uses his magic to repair the stage—he came to see their performance, after all. (It is also here when Yuu finally learns who “Tsunotaro/Hornton” truly is.)

SDC happens!! More cameos from characters in the audience as they vote.

RSA wins by one vote. That deciding vote was… Rook! Now, he gets a lot of hate for this move, but 🥲 he explains that he couldn’t lie to himself; he was genuinely moved more by Neige than his own group’s performance. Additionally, he says that even if they technically didn’t win a competition or get the most votes, so long as Vil has the strength to believe in himself… then no matter how old or disheveled Vil is, he will always be fairest of them all.

Vil collapses and cries…

Neige comes over and??? Turns out that Rook is a HUGE Neige fan 😂 (When first moving into Ramshackle, Vil remarks on a thick book Rook brought with him. They never looked at what was inside, but it was a bunch of Neige bromides.) Neige says he recognized Rook as his fan (“R”) because Rook called him “Snow White”.

Aaand Neige says everyone should sing together :)) (Again, this was removed from EN.) Vil suffers a lot :)))

Crowley is mulling over another loss to RSA and encounters its headmaster, Ambrose the 63rd (twisted from… Merlin???). Ambrose remarks that he senses strong magic in the area (probably residual from either Malleus or OB Vil) and that he’ll have to keep an eye on Crowley’s students.

Yuu finally grabs a picture of Mickey, but then notices Grim is missing so they leave to find him.

They see Grim on the Purple Stage eating Vil’s OB stone. When Grim notices Yuu there, he attacks them.

We finish off on a preview to Ignihyde. Idia gave a presentation at the cultural festival that made a lot of people interested in having him as an intern. Ortho offers to read the email opportunities to him, but in a resigned tone, Idia says to delete them all because he thinks he “doesn’t belong anywhere” so it’s not worth trying to.

Taker leans back in his shitty canteen chair, eyes locked onto Shawn who's doing a perfect job of rambling, eating his lunch and drinking. "Oh! That's a point, I forgot how busy the lockeroms can be" Shawn states. Taker locks back in. "What do you mean by that?" Taker asks. "Everytime I goto shower I end up with the center one. Its just so damn busy" Shawn huffs. Taker tilts his head. "Have you tried showering when it's not busy?" Taker asks. "Thats the thing, I check the shower and it's empty, I get undressed and walk in and everyone is in there." Shawn admits. That's when the first spike of jealousy hits Taker. "Is that so?" Taker asks glancing at the other men. "Yeah, oh well, what can ya do about it?" Shawn shrugs before finishing his soda.

"Something I'm sure." Taker mutters. "What was that Takes?" Shawn asks. Taker looks back at him. "Nothing, just finish up" Taker dismisses. "Oh okay" Shawn nods continuing his food.

"Uh taker?" Goldust asks as Taker suddenly crushes the water bottle in his hand. Lucky for them it's empty. That's when he spots what has him upset. "Oh, someone's flirting with the showstopper." Goldust hums.

Goldust gasps as Taker throws the waterbottle. He can't help but giggle as it hits dave in the head. Dave pulls away from shawn and looks at them. "Was that you?" Dave demands. "Nah man, it came from over there" Taker lies nodding towards the others. "Those fuckers. Excuse me shawn" dave lurks off. "You dog" goldust gasps at him. "Dont regret a thing." Taker mutters as he watches Shawn shrug and turn back to his locker.

Taker hated fan meets. Too many fans who think they have the right to make sexual jokes and grope them.

So he's glad when it's over. "Finally. Wanna grab some pizza?" Taker asks Shawn as he helps the blonde stand. "Dont see why not" Shawn smiles. "Um excuse me?" A small voice asks. They both turn to see a young man. Taker swears he signed something for the guy earlier. "Yes?" Shawn smiles. "I was wondering if we could have a photo, I missed the chance earlier." He asks. "Of course" Shawn nods taking the camera. He turns to his life and tag partner. "Do you mind?" Holding the camera out. "Never." Taker forces out.

He raises the camera and watches as the mans hand moves down towards shawns waist, his hand blocked by shawns. He lowers the camera. "Your hand on his waist-" "you want his hand on my waist?" Shawn suddenly asks, moving his hand and placing the mans hand on his waist. "Take the photo" Shawn smiles as takers jaw tightens. He swallows his pride and takes the photo before practically shoving the camera into the fans hand and dragging Shawn away.

"Whats wrong takes? You jealous?" Shawn asks with a giggle as Taker suddenly stops. "Jealous?" Taker asks looking at shawn. "I mean he was handsome, no?" Shawn asks with a innocent smile. "Its okay to be jealous" "don't be ridiculous. I don't get jealous" Taker huffs turning away and walking away. "Handsome, my ass" Taker scoffs. "Average at best" he adds. Shawn can't help but smile brightly. "Annoyed your delaying my pizza!" He barks. "Of course." Shawn hums jogging after the bigger man.

Takers finally reached his limit.

"You look real good today shawn" Randy smirks resting a hand on shawns waist. "Aw thanks Rand" Shawn smiles patting Randy's chest. "Oh god." Goldust huffs watching as Taker storms over. He shoves randy back before turning to shawn, lifting him over his shoulder, planting a hand firmly on shawns ass and walking them out. "Sorry randy!" Shawn chuckles. "The hell!" Randy yelps. "Its called he's taken. Sorry yall!" Taker yells as he kicks the door open.

Shawn sucks in his cheeks as he watches sable run a hand down takers chest on live TV. That bitch.

"Shawn stop before you get worked up" goldust sighs. "Im not." Shawn growls as the pair walk in. "Great show tonight takes." Sable smiles. Goldust gives up as shawn drags taker into a very passionate kiss. Shawn turns to sable. "I ever hear you call him Takes or see you touch him like that again I will scalp you" shawn growls. Taker just chuckles and wraps an arm around shawns waist. "Down boy." He whispers, pulling shawn against him. "See ya later sable" Taker smiles before leading shawn out

Trust me, he lives up to the heartbreaker family legacy. Even randy ortons fell for it. Twice" sheamus huffs. Drews eyes widen as he looks back at Leon. "Although, he doesn't have that same lust in his eyes. So who knows, maybe he does have a thing for the dreams boy." Sheamus shrugs.

That pit of jealousy comes back in full swing.

Drew could tell Leon was in a good mood, just from the fact he was walking around the arena shirtless.

Normally a shirtless Leon meant a happy drew. But not right now.

Leon chuckles against his ear before moving to stand infront of Drew, he grabs drews wrist. "You should be jealous." He whispers. Drew stares at him. "I was going to let her do it. Just to see your reaction. Just so I could tease you, play with you, but this is so much better" Leon whispers placing drews hand against his abs. Drews eyes widen and snap down to where his hand meets Leon's surprisingly smooth skin. His body type is sharp, hard, lean, so the fact his skin is smooth is shocking to him.

Leon taps drews chin causing him to look back up. "Real shame you couldn't wait." He hums before pulling away and walking off. Drews hand stays hovering in the air.

He didn't know whether he should thank or curse Shawn Michaels for making something so beautiful and sinful.

"You keep your hands off what's mine" drew growls to the other man. Roman raises an eyebrow. "Is that right?" Roman asks after lowering his mic. Drew tightens his hold. "You touch him like that again, I'll break every bone in your fucking body"

And boy wasn't Leon turned on by that alone.

What can he say, he's a spawn of the two horniest people in the business.

Drew realises what he's done as the fans start chanting his name. Of course, they can't hear what he's said. Atleast he hopes the ones at ring side can't. Drew let's Romans wrist go and watches as the man jerks back, cradling his wrist. He turns to Leon. "I think we're done here-" he pauses at the flush building on Leon's neck. His eyes shoot up to see Leon's eyes have darkened. Leon drops his mic. "Yeah" he nods. Drew takes Leon's wrist in his hand, much more gentler than he did with roman, even tho Leon would and could handle it better than him or roman could, and leads Leon out of there, ignoring the chants of their names.

3000+ words of chenford

Is this going  to be a long ass post about all the different things i have noticed about Tim and Lucy over 5 seasons? yes do i expect people to read all of it? eh probably not lol, am i gonna write it anyway because i just need to get it all outta my head? yes lol also some of it might be outta order of when it happened lol 

ok so heres the thing. it alll started in the first episdoe if you really think about it, the fact that they saw Isobel and she covered and didnt tell anyone a damn thing about it. then the fact that he was shot and she dragged him to cover to get him safe all that happened her first day on the job, and i think that with both of those things happening they both knew they were gonna be a good team, there was a trust there. tim was in a dark place when lucy came into the picture. 

she went to Isobels apartment for him to check it out, she went to her apartment in the middle of the night ot talk him about of taking the drugs out, she knew even only being on the job with him for a few weeks at that point, she knew that he had a code, and he had principles and wouldnt wanna live with that later. 

he started giving her pep talks when she didn’t even realize she needed them. when she got poked with the dirty needled at the homeless compound, the way he had her back in the hospital and the way he talked her off the ledge that she was on that day. 

the fact that when he started to study for his sargents exam, she convinced him he needed a hobby and they went paintballing together on their time off 

the audio books the fucking audio books the fact that she figured out he learns by listening, and then the fact that she went out of her way to talk to isobel about him, and then went out of her way to record the book on the mmp3 player for him so that he would be able to listen to it and learn the book 

There is also the fact when the rookies had to complete their lists he went out of his way to make sure she got her list, he even stayed for overtime, and yeah he would have said at the time that it was because “shes MY rookie if she fails it looks bad on me” but i truly think that even then he wanted her to succeed for herself he knew even then that she had something deep inside her that she would figh through any of it 

the day that they crashed the rigged car, he was looking at getting in trouble, but she went out of her way and spent the entire day trying to clear his name to ensure that he would not get in trouble 

 the quarantine there was the fact that as soon as he was coughed on he closed the door to protect her from it, there was the fact that she stayed and was concerned the entire time. the fact that they talked the entire tiem, and then she went in the ambulance with him, and covered his body with her own when the ambulance was getting shot at,

the abduction- he blamed himself so much for her getting taken, (that also shows how great his friendship with Lopez is and i LOVE their friendship as well) anyway the way he did everything he could to find her, then when they found her, the way he literally dug with his bear hands to get her out, and then he did the compressions, he did mouth to mouth he LITTERALLY brought her back to life, he stayed in her hospital room all night until she woke up (yeah i know he said he wasnt there all night but we all know lol) and then how he knew to have her food ready for her, i just loved every part of that 

when he gives her the ring back, but more so the pep talk he gives her before that, like the whole “that tattoo is a  sign your a survivor” 

 how worried he gets about her when she goes undercover, deep down hes afraid of what happen to Isobel, it worries him, and when Angela tells him about the little freak out she had and angela tells him “dont go on Tim on me” i think at that point is wher Angela knew something because Tim wouldnt get that protective over some one he doesnt care about 

Emmit - so there was the time that Tim yelled at Lucy and Emmit was defending her and she was mad at Emmit for that lol. but he was trying to protect her. or the night in the car when he was saying that he pushed her right at caleb and she almost died, and then she todl him it wasnt his fault, th look on his face when she said that was like a part of him thought she blamed him and they way she said “i wouldnt ask if i didnt value your opinion” and how right after that he went straight into his insulty sarcasm “you can do much better”

the pranks all the pranks (ill go more into details about the radio tho)

the way he gave up the promotion for her

 he goes tougher on her because he knows she can handle it. 

 her last day as a Rookie when he says “youve been lucky on the job, wait that isnt fair you have dealt with things that would have broken veteran cops” he kknows how strong she is and he is starting to get more comfortable telling her that 

the first wedding Lopez and Wesley, the looks they exchanged, the fact that Grey and Harper had that “its only a matter of time” look on their faces when she excused her self and went to Tim, the way he said “save me a dance”

 the way the night jackson died, he made sure she wasnt alone, a lot of people assume they would have possibly gotten somewhere that night had he not gotten the call he did, however i dont think he would have, i think deep down he wanted to, i think he had feelings for her, but he wouldnt wanna do anything in that moment because of how vulnerable she was that night 

*yes this is outta place but again I already mentioned that would happen lol* anyway when the team went down to find Angela, she stayed behind but she was so worried and concerned about him when he was there yes she was on the phone with him but pretty sure she knew it was on speaker and she made it a point to say Tim becareful not just for everyone

 The way that she helped him through his childhood issues with his dad without even really trying. The look on his face when she said “tim tests” when Genny mentioned the time their dad dropped him off and made him find his way home, Tim looked upset, like almost as upset as he did when he thought that he was to blame for her abduction.  Like he was upset and hurt when he thought even for a second that Lucy was comparing him to his dad. And then how she had no problem using her day off to help at the house. She had no issue going to the hospice house when he confronted his dad one last time. And then the hug outside the in the hallway the look on his face when he said “the tim tests those don’t make me like him” like all he wanted was for her to know that he wasn’t that person, he wasn’t his dad

 The way he had no issue taking Kojo, the way they still talk about him from time to time. The way he told Ashley that he kept the dog for Lucy. Or when Ashley called Lucy about Kojo and the way she said that the is a lot like tim “big and tough on the outside but deep down hes a real sweetheart”

Her fake confession of feelings, how he was all speechless and wasn’t sure how to let her down, and then when she started laughing, and he seemed legit offended that she would do that

 THE DOUBLE DATE THE FUCKING DOUBLE DATE like do I even have to go into detail about why that was as awesome as it was for Chenford fans lo

The dance at Harpers wedding. Th way he told her she deserved to be recognized and he wants her to have a nice and long career and how his eyes said “and ill do anything l make that happen”

The way he told her “don’t let anyone tell you that you cant do something, not even me”

The start of the undercover that episode where they meet Dim and Juicy, when they are then at her apartment to go over everything and practice being a couple the look on his face when she gives her ida for the back story

 The air plane, they were undercover flirty because they had to, and then they found out about Roslind, and he puts his hand over hers to comfort her, and we all know that it was Tim comforting Lucy at that rate and the way he made an excuse to get her alone to check on her, and then the way she pulled him in for a kiss even though she could have just messed up his hair and and shirt a little bit

At the table when he confirms with Angela and shes solid, he trusts her and je trusts her judgment the hotel room, how he is speechless seeing her naked back, he confronts her about the kisses not feeling pretend (at that rate im sure they were not pretend for him) then he tells her that shes good at the under cover stuff, I think in that moment he realizes that she wouldn’t be a repeat of Isobel

When they fight off 3 dudes with guns by themselves without guns and with tim being tied and Lucy being in a robe, that was just a sign of the way they are both bad asses. Lol

When he walks her up to her apartment when they got back, the way they were talking about how what happenes under cover stays under cover and then she invited him in, that right there was when she 100% knew she has feelings for him, and I think he knew at that point as well because while yes he hesitated he still walked in.  we can also add the fact that he was annoyed at first  when Chris was there.

The talk in the hallway about him telling her she needs to do the UC school. He knows its good for her, it was him telling her that really pushed her to go, Chris had already told her, Nyla had already told her, but it was when Tim told her when it really pushed her, tho that conversation with tim asl broke her a little bit, you could see it, but I think it also broke him, I don’t think he wanted to push her away, I think he thought that some distance was for the best for them at that point in time

The fact that it was Tim who realized that she was radio silent, he was the one who saved her when they got there, he didn’t ask Aaron to help didn’t say shit to arron for that matter just went straight at the door and did everything he could to pull the door open and ger her out of ther e

The episode where Bailey gets trapped in the tank, the entire time she was having PTSD triggers but she was trying to hide it, but he saw them and that’s why he didn’t wanna be too far from her at any given point, he was trying to protect her even if no one realized it, she didn’t even realize it, like the “no youre not going down there its too dangerous there could be more traps let me go instead” and he did not have to give her his duty belt lol and then the look they shared the entire time he was going down

While he was in the hospital, the way she made him go in the first place, t he way she wouldn’t take no for an answer about him going. Then when he was there and he was like “yes give me surgery” and she was like well wait what are the risks like she cared more about that than anyone else in the room then there was also when he fell he didn’t want any one to tell her because he knew she would worry because he knew if it was reverse he would be worried about her. Then when she got to the hospital and he didn’t tell her right away about him and Ashley, he told her to slow her role the fact that they had their normal dynamic, or the little smirk on his face when she said “I know” about staying to keep him company

The radio, the fact that she knew he would figure out that she was the one who had it, based on the clues, because they both know they know each other that well. And then the banter between them when he first tries to get it back from her, “is it pay back for how I treated you as a rookie” and then the sigh he told her it was nothing simply because he knew he couldn’t lie and keep saying he was fine. And then when he finally did tell her, the exchange they had about it, and how she was like “I should know better than to get in your personal business” ike girl please stop acting like you aint in that mans business all the damn time any way lol but also its like then he told her, and told her that he did appreciate it and that it was helpful, which was her goal all along anyway

The under cover opp, Tim KNOWS lucy can handle herself and is good at UC but he also WAS very concerned about her, and he knew that what Aaron said had a little truth behind, it, it wasn’t willingly trying to hurt the kid or anything like that but he would do whatever he could to help Lucys career

The conversation in the shop all day, they talked about having feelings for eachother without really talking about it like that, they talked about Chris, she knows Chris is a good person, she likes being around him and everything like that but she isn’t in love with him and they both know it. I don’t know if tim knows at that point that is because she is in love with him, but he knows at that point that he is in love with lucy. The way Chris cant read a damn room, and called her about a house in he middle of the bombs happening and everything, and tim can SEE that Lucy doesn’t wanna have the conversation with Chris and gives her an out. Tim doesn’t hate Chris, but he also knows that Lucy isn’t as happy as she deserves to be.

The conversation out side the station, she started it yes, but I think deep down he wanted to ask her out all day and was just waiting until he could gauge a little more. And then when she mentiones that their relationship is the most important one in her life he gets the confirmation that he needs to go ahead and ask her out.  The nervous look on his face before he asks, and then the huge smile on his face after she says yes. But then when she had to sya no because she wanted to end things with Chris the right way, but then she tells him to ask her again later, like she wants him to know, that she does indeed wanna go on a date with him and give them a shotshe just wants to be a single woman when they do

In the office when he asks how the break up is going, and then tells her what to do, and then asks her if shes having second thoughts, because he doesn’t wanna pressure her into it he wants it to be her idea and he wants her to want him the way he wants her. The way he says “good” and smiles when she says she isn’t having second thoughts or just the way that Chris knows that Tim knows Lucy so well he asks his opinion lol

 And then the office after the Chris break up. The way she went straight back to the station to be able to talk to him right away, she wanted to make sure he knew right away that she was single and was able to be his now. The way when she said she talked to Chris he got up to talk to her, and then the little joke because that was simply them and the “don’t make me hurt you” because that was also so much them, and then the way he asked her nd the smiles when she said yes.

I can not wait til they finally get to go on their date, it does say there will be complications but like I think we all knew there would be complications but I truly, truly believe that the writers will be smart enough to let them happen because the fans will riot and they will loose ratings if Chenford gets too fucked over lol

now i'm kinda curious actually... do you think when luke got his illness and all, do you think nsb would've let him retire then and there, or is luke just so good of an agent that they couldn't let them go? cause i can sort imagine nsb going like: "hey luke, we can let you off. we'll handle treatment and all. but please live a normal life" but then luke rejecting that offer because he'd still want be useful in some way... HUUUUU

but before i go into this i wanna make it clear that like, i do Not think that nsb lets or even Wants luke to retire at his current age. illness aside, hes 24 and at his prime in terms of the rest of his health and his skills, AND in canon we see the nsb as still actively giving luke orders and missions (heck, the nsb is the entire reason luke is in the nxx investigation team at all, hes there on nsb orders and im never forgetting that because what a delightful chekov's gun; the only member of the team who has a completely different organization as another power to listen to)

SO all these views on how the nsb lets him go to stellis is less of the nsb allowing a retirement, and more of the nsb allowing a location reassignment. since that seems to fit better with what we see in canon.

plus, in canon, it's already mentioned that the Main Reason luke moved back to stellis was because of the nsb order to join the nxx team, with the secondary reason that luke was aligned with this because this would let him investigate the drug's origin

SO all these views additionally are more talking about like.....more factors to help sway that decision In Addition to the canon factors

so my three views on how this goes is

1 ) they really just let him go/allowed his reassignment when he asked because hes just that good

this is the premise i use the MOST in my fics: in my aaron & luke NSB days fic "excuse me, sir, i am this agent's emotional support babysitter" and what i vaguely imply in the flashbacks of my one lukerosa fic "but little do we know, the stars welcome him with open arms" and the reason is cuz.......personal agency is a great narrative tool and theme

in both those fics, i was basically trying to highlight that luke's biggest enemy and thing that is dragging him down and making things hard for himself is, honestly, himself.

so how it goes in this view of "the nsb letting him go back to stellis" is that luke just has to ask. here's an excerpt from the aaron & luke fic (which, for context, is set before luke gets his illness):

It’s a sensitive topic, he’s come to learn. Luke's reactions swing between being vaguely hopeful to extremely volatile, when Aaron brings this up. “This” being how he thinks Luke should go home, go back to this certain someone he mentions sometimes, someone he seems to really care about. Like high tide and low tide, some days are manageable and other days drown Luke completely. On the good days, Luke stops the conversation and says that he’ll think about it. On the bad days… “I wonder what music she likes now,” Luke mumbles pensively. “You should ask her,” Aaron takes a chance. “When you get back to her.” Because all it’ll take is Luke making the decision. If the mighty Agent Raven appeals for a reassignment to Stellis, Aaron is pretty sure he’ll get it without question. He’s too valuable to piss off with bureaucracy, so all the kid has to do is want to go back. It’s simple. Luke doesn’t think it’s simple, though, and he goes quiet for a few seconds.

and there we have it, this bit in a fic i wrote in 2022 explains view number 1. i dont think the nsb willingly wants to lose agent raven in their main location of operations, but agent raven is too valuable to disagree with.

good thing he never makes any demands, not even the most human demand of wanting to go home.

this premise is a favorite of mine to lean back on in stories since it frames luke's self loathing and guilt as the main factor holding him back from joy. it highlights the unhealthiness of luke's mental state and the sheer consequences it causes. all that was between him and reuniting with his childhood best friend was a request, such a tiny thing that people know would get approved, but he himself wouldnt let him take that chance for a long time.

2 ) they let him go because hes just that good + his illness softened the way because he became less of an asset thanks to his time limit

view number 2 is basically view number 1 but with the nsb being much slimier (which still leads to the good effect of letting luke go back home) but BASICALY here: they REALLY dont want luke to leave the main location of operation, but hes too valuable to piss off and oofsies okay his illness now technically means he isnt at his prime.

their best agent has a time limit now, and thats kinda a bummer from a govt organization standpoint

this view is less "luke go forth and live a better life with the years u still have!" and more of the much unkinder "dang our favorite weapon is breaking :/ and hes not as perfect anymore because of that :/ fine fiiiine go home or whatever if you wanna and be productive to relevant cases there, you might as well"

basically view number 2 is view number 1 but now with more....systemic ableism //cringe emoji

but this is the premise that is the "most canon" in my head, even if i dont use it in fic as much. simply because it takes stock of both of luke's main issues (his horrible mental health and his deterioriating physical health) AND cuz....well....i know the nsb has been mostly shown as neutral-to-benevolent force in canon so far, but can ya blame me for not trusting the shady government organization? HAHA. ableism is definitely the kind of crummy that cld thrive in an environment like that

but speaking of horrid things...

3 ) they let him go because his reassignment to stellis and his illness perfectly coincided with the rise of the NXX Team and i fully think that the nsb has something to do with the nxx drug

AND NOW WE SWERVE INTO SOME BIG BAD GUY SHIT!!

some canon facts:

luke's illness was caused by an nxx contamination of the medicine used to treat him after a Disastrous Mission

that Disastrous Mission was an nsb mission that killed all his colleagues EXCEPT him

luke joining the nxx investigation team in 2030 was due to the nsb giving him orders to do so

some questions i have now about those canon facts

how did luke's medicine become contaminated with nxx?? i assume he was being treated by the nsb in an nsb facility, the security would be tight. how the heck did the nxx drug get past that.

how the heck did the nxx drug get past all that and get to luke specifically? luke who is now a very specific person because he was the only one to survive that mission. lethal drug contamination to only survivor sounds VERY MUCH like foul play was involved, doncha think?

sure, luke's assignment to the nxx team couldve been because it was convenient, they had their best agent there already with worthwhile personal stakes in the nxx drug. but....that seems TOO CONVENIENT, DONCHA THINK???

what im saying here is that i think the nsb definitely was setting this up. either they set up the mission and/or set up the contamination to get agent raven into the nxx team. why? idk yet. but again, i dont trust mysterious govt agencies HAHA, so thats my 3rd view

so...as u can see, all my views dont really posit the nsb as the good guys JHVSKJHFVDKSJ. at most, they can be the Meh guys, but whether or not they have Something to do with the broader nxx drug plot, it IS canon that like...

luke got caught up in an operation with them when he was 16-17 years old, and that led to him joining and led to them getting their most skilled agent

so how much of that was coincidence? and even if it was a coincidence, how much of "letting a teenager into a cutthroat govt organization before he's even legal" is ethical? if the nsb cld allow that, then their broader views of the value of Human Beings seems uh shallow, to say the least. and luke took to that kind of environment like he was meant for it, because even before the nsb and before his illness, he already had a deep desire to be useful, to not be a burden, to protect the people he loves and people who cannot protect themselves.

luke was a martyr in the making honored to take up the mantle. he was perfect for the nsb. way, way too perfect.

i dont think the nsb would let go of somebody like that without good reason, without strings attached, or without the "letting go" not actually being the freedom luke and the rest of us thinks it is
