Would you care if I used your art style as a reference to work on my own style? I absolutely love how you draw faces and currently that's my biggest struggle.

This is actually a really good question.

I personally don't mind my art being used as reference for style practice or inspiration. HOWEVER. I do not wish people to use "this permission" I'm giving as an excuse to trace or completely steal my style. There is a difference between tracing/matching a style like the original artist- rather than just using the art as an inspirational reference practice. So just as long as this is not taken advantage of, used to trace/mirror my art, or remotely claim my style is theirs, than yes! You may use it for reference.

I'm open to this because of a number of reasons. In my experience as an artist who is still learning and improving or even comparing my older art; I also used other artist's work as reference and inspiration. My style is all my favorite artist who i enjoyed the certain of style how they would draw "eyes" or "faces" or even shading and color! I pieced togther those qualities along with my own to finally create a style I genuinely enjoyed to draw after so long of trial and error. Its good to branch out with more styles! Its part of an artist's growth and sometimes people forget that in the community. Just as long as you attempt to add your own creativity and highlight of your own style to it in the end, i'd say its a healthy way to slowly improve over time! Hell, i still use other people's work as inspiration/ref so i can try and learn how to color or shade in certain ways until i find something im comfortable with for my full finished work. (Which is rare btw lmao. Sorry about that! My motivation sadly dies out pretty fast because of how slow i draw at times.)

I know it can be frustrating for a lot of people who draw and end up hating their art or style. And thats okay, it just means you're ready to improve! Sadly though people get stuck with this part. They may know they need to "draw more" or follow the "practice makes perfect" rule- but it sometimes doesn't help growth in the way they need to.. While that is still a big part, people also forget that its okay to draw in completely different styles or jump out of their comfort zone. Hell, i used to have a really cartoon look to my art, but one day i attempt the 'tumblr art style" (not sure what its actually called lmao) and ended up falling in love with it! So if anyone ever feels stuck or hating their art style, i highly recommend trying to steady other people's art that you enjoy and take inspiration in. Not only will it give you motivation, but drawing certain traits or different features of styles will open a more doors towards your own unique style in the end! Haha.. i know i kinda rambled about this- so my apologies. I do hope this helps reassure any artist out there though. I believe in you guys!

I didn't expect you to come looking for me. We've always kinda knew our limits, so I chalked it up as that. Even after three days. Then seven. I should have been able to handle myself. It's what you'd expect from me.

By the third week, I started having this fantasy... You'd come bursting through the walls, berating me with that self-righteous attitude of yours. You'd refuse to shoot anyone even at your own expense. & mine. Then we'd be off on our next adventure, you & I riding off into the sunset. Like always. I so badly wanted our story to end that way. But this was no ending.

Six months. After six grueling months, I started to break. I know, I wouldn't have believed it myself, but that's when I broke. I screamed for you, your name reverberating off the walls & back. Not a speck of sunlight. It was so cold. I remember feeling this chill when my brain was being altered & my mind began to break. Your name is the last thing I remember saying before the darkness came.

Oh, Darling. It was your sunshine I had missed the most.

Two years later ~

✞ ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ He watched the family as they were escorted out of their home; the man in the front with the woman behind him, two little kids clutching onto her apron strings. Wolfwood had been ordered by Master to shoot if they stepped out of line. Even an inch astray & their lives would be gone, surrendered to the dust & the land that made up this God forsaken town. They were being emptied out one by one, driven from their homes & left with nowhere to go in the vast desert. Why? You didn't ask questions. You only do what you're told.

These people were compliant. The ones who tried to fight were already dead, gunned down like dogs as a reminder of what would happen if they stepped out of line. So far, it has been a quiet day. Until the woman tripped.

"Mamma!"

One of the kids, a boy, squatted down to match the woman's height. The other was left stunned & sobbing, feet frozen to the ground from fear. Just a baby.

"Mamma, you gotta get up!"

Foolish boy.

There is the sound of the Punisher's mechanics whirring & clicking into place as Wolfwood steadies the gun at his hip, pointed toward the mother & the two sons. The father steps out of line, rushing to their side in an attempt to shield his family.

"Please, don't!"

Wolfwood's finger lingers on the trigger.

Why can't he...

"Shoot them, Punisher!"

Another click & the massive gun is fired. No hesitation this time. No mercy. He's perfect dog.

ok so at first im very intimidated by him, im like oh god scary tall scared man… but he’s kinda sexy🫣

he's my personal chef /hj, he loves cooking and loves to expiriment with new things so i always taste anything he makes for him!! ontop of that, we often cook or bake together as home date, it's just one of those moments where we dont have to worry about anything and relax in each others company and can be ourselves

i thought about different kind of au's/timelines with him and just <33

he's a fucking gentleman, like the best out of there, he treats me like a queen and it takes me back by surprise every single time bc im not used to being treated like that </3 but he never stops with it, even when were so long into the relationship

he loves to spoil me but i always feel bad when he spends money on me NDKSK, its basically; bf who loves to spoil gf 🤝 gf thats grown up independent and pays for her own stuff, regardless of it though, he keeps spoiling me from time to time and just knows his way with words so he can keep spoiling me

and a thing we have is dhmmfhdjdnd, forehead kisses & kisses on my hand it has me so soft🥹 he never and i mean never leaves the house without the kiss </3

he also loves showing me/our relationship off, but in a more subtle way, he’ll be wearing/taking stuff thats mine with him anywhere, does not bother covering up the marks i leave, in fact specifically asks me to leave them on obvious spots 🫣🫣 he also does not bother to wipe off lipstick smudges. oh oh oh, his dask at work has things of mine, like random hairties, some of my pencils or something and a pic of me!! same goes for his car & i give him the same treatment hehe

he also loves seeing me confidenr and showinf off in clothes bc he knows im his <33

another thing is that kakucho always comes home late bc missions and hes like kinda sad to see me up bc its like 4 in the morning and hes like :(( he feels bad but he knows he can’t really fight against it bc ill be stubborn and stay up to see him

he also catches me doing work late at night a lot, he’ll usually tell me to sleep bc its late and im like after im done and he asks if theres something he can do to help me get it done faster because he doesnt want me staying up longer than needed

no man loves like kakucho !! like i just fall for him more every single day hehe

we get married and have kids of our own later <3

honestly it was a red flag when bbc sherlock went “well obviously the word written in blood isn’t the german word for revenge, it’s clearly the beginning of the name ‘rachel’, what absolute idiot would fail to see that” when in the original novel it is, in fact, the german word for revenge, which sherlock points out gleefully to a roomful of policemen who all figure it’s the beginning of the name ‘rachel.’

and by red flag I mean it was a clear sign that the adaptation was trying to one-up the source material, instead of engaging with it with love.

Okay here’s something I noticed about Crosshair and Omega’s relationship, and why I think it was so easy for Crosshair to grow attached to her.

Basically- he says that loyalty is something that means a lot to him, and Omega is the ONE person who never EVER gave up on him.

All the way back in the very first episode even- they’re sitting in a containment cell and Omega says to him: “I know what you’re going to do, but please don’t.” His response is simply, “what do you know?” To which she says, “I know it’s not your fault.” The others were quick to wonder why he would turn on them, Omega knew he didn’t have a choice.

During Kamino Lost- after Crosshair doesn’t take their offer, Omega’s the only one who turns back to him. “You’re still their brother, Crosshair. You’re my brother too.”

And on Tantiss- he would dismiss her, tell her not to bother talking to him, but she doesn’t stop. She refuses to escape without him, no matter what he tells her to do or says to dissuade her, she won’t leave him behind.

The rest of the batch gave him a chance- they wanted him back- but they left him behind, even if it was Crosshair’s choice to stay. Omega wouldn’t give up on him, no matter what, even at the risk of her own safety and only chance to escape.

She never gave up on him. Even when he felt like he wasn’t worth it.
