Boo-Kai 2022 Day 2: Monsters Under The Bed

Mystic Falls, 1877; it started with the disappearance of a child from her home. Days later her little body is found but her skull is missing. With the werewolves and witches driven out of Mystic Falls there’s no one to protect it from the monsters drawn in from the bloodshed. Many more die until Naomi and Henry, the children of Emily, return and put a stop to the murders and the monsters.

Present day Mystic Falls sees the advent of the creatures arrival when Bonnie Bennett dies from reviving Jeremy. With her death the barrier protecting Mystic Falls collapses allowing all manner of creature in. The spirits place Bonnie in a little space for her mind and body to recuperate, a prison world. There she meets Kai Parker, a siphon who wants out of the pocket dimension. They clash repeatedly on ideals both too stubborn to give in. On the outside Mystic Falls descends into chaos.

A year passes and Bonnie has went through a profound change. No longer is she the young woman who sacrifices herself for everyone else. Bonnie and Kai have made a pact and Mystic Falls can burn for all she cares.

🐱 Nightwing #110 rambling AKA wailing about how Dick and Jon love Damian

backtracking to 2 weeks ago in Titans #6 for a sec when Dick expressed how he wanted to look for Damian - it was nice to get a nod of Dick being concerned, but i was a bit bummed he didn't start a search. and i get it, the world needs saving, Dick's gotta do what he has to!!

different writer/story, but this line popped into my head the moment Babs said Earth needs the Titans

Damian means the world to Dick!! the Titans can take care of the literal world without him for a bit!!

but ykw it's fine since this issue proved me wrong, and Dick looks for Damian anyway!! 😭 basically "the world's still in danger but my brother needs me right now" this was just the start of the issue and i fell to my knees THEY BOTH REALLY DROPPED EVERYTHING FOR DAMIAN

the part where they plan to wait out Damian's match was so funny to me because Dick keeps repeating to Jon that they shouldn't engage, but then Dick just goes "NEVERMIND i'm going in" 😭 he couldn't stand watching Damian be hurt anymore i'm weeping

with context this is actually so sad for Damian orz otherwise i just wanted to say i love these drawings!! it's just a really cool page to me - i love the posing, especially in the hands/claws!! the intense expressions!! also so efficient in showing how the match escalates with Damian quickly overpowering Gail (along with seeing Jon's dread 🙁)

A while ago I saw some posts mentioning some possible animals for Hobie to use as his fursona, and I wanted to join the fun and make my own suggestions! Cause I have two animals I feel would fit him very well:

Number 1. Maned Wolf:

Look at those long ass legs and tell me they don't give off Hobie vibes lol

(but fr they also look super majestic and I love how beautiful their colours are too! <3)

They even have a small mane too! Which also leads me to the other animal I'd like to suggest:

Number 2. Striped Hyena:

This might be one of the most punk looking animals out there! (and just like punks, hyenas have also gotten a lot of (unjust) bad rep in the media through time)
