hi there, me and my friend have an au (by no means an original one, ive seen others write on similar ideas) where instead of five jumping into the apocalypse, his first jump manages to drop Actual 13 yr old five right on top of reginalds funeral and hilariously the apocalypse actually gets genuinely averted this time just because the siblings have that extra level of responsibility that comes with having a real life (very reckless and curious of the future) pre-teen to handle plus the removal of stress from knowing the apocalypse is coming - I've been following your shifting together series pretty much since you started writing it and im super excited for the end of joining together bc your characterisation of five without the time travel/apocalypse in his past is a+ like id believe you were the author of tua levels of godtier writing so I was wondering if you had any thoughts on this concept of him being a genuine child the first go around and if not then if you just had anything else to say about his character minus apocalypse trauma/being an old man etc that you didn't put in your fanfic and still wanted to share as I love your version of him so much

I'm going to disappoint you on the first half - I genuinely spend very little time thinking about Five as a kid before everything. Little guy doesn't interest me until he gets slammed with a metric fuckton of trauma. Sorry, Five. If you want Number's apocalypse-free-childhood, I will enthusiastically point you to the first five chapters of The Shifting Mirrors, the fic I adopted him from. Orsumfenix is a phenomenal author and hits the balance I'd expect from a Five growing up in the Academy into a stunted man-child with the rest of his family.

I don't know that I have anything on the top of my head to add about Number at the moment. Only thought I've got right now is just my fondness for him. I think on of my favorite things in writing him is how he constantly kneecaps himself. He's just too smart and impulsive, he gets himself into corners and then is not good at getting back out of them so he just plows through. He's such a funny guy (intentionally and unintentionally) when he lets himself relax.

if you ship tim and sylvia (19 and 16/17) than you don't get to fucking talk about age gaps or ageing charecters up. No matter what a 16 or 17 yr old shouldn't be dating a 19 yr old.

On the other hand people who are 20/23 who have know each other since they were 16/19 is fine, that's normal. If they liked each other since they were young and waited until it was fine, or if they only started liking each other when they were adults! I am at the point in my tumblr career where bashing what people ship is simply ridiculous considering I APPARENTLY ship one of the most problematic relationships in the fandom. But we have to realize any/all of our ships are questionable for any reason. Johnny and Pony are questionable because 16/14 except Johnny thinks Pony is 13 years old canonically so 😭. Apparently aging up steveboy 14/17 is problematic bc that means “we saw chemistry there in the first place,” which isn’t true, we just think pony always had a crush on him and it’d be interesting character work to try to discover how that could possibly fit in some distant future. And then there’s Tally, where they beat tf out of each other and slash expensive tires for sillies even tho they’re all poor. And now there’s all these heterosexual shippings, in which my biggest qualm is that we’re being run by the heterosexuals. But I do acknowledge that claiming Tim is too “grown” for Johnny and then shipping him with a girl who most likely would be around his age is strange. ONLY if you’re trying to make other people feel bad for it. Like I don’t see how we can’t realize we all ship crack shipping, these are all rare pairs other than Jally probably. So like we ALL have to pull a few canon strings to make it make sense that these characters would even talk to each other much less make out. It’s not a big deal unless you’re using fictional people to live out your own weird fantasies. I can acknowledge there’s plenty strange steveboy and dallyboy fanfic. But I’ve seen strange EVERYTHING fanfic. People are weirdos and some aren’t. It’s THAT simple. Not everything has to be a thinkpiece to incite drama. Why would you want clout from a fandom that only has 4 people active at all times?

It’s just all about accepting the loss of someone. It’s “I’ve Made My Bed (And I’ll Lie In It)” (and, no, I have not written that one yet either lol)

How long was the Silent Mary imprisoned based on the PotC timeline

So, @acutecupidity asked me to write this up for you all. It’s a bit long, so if you don’t have time to fully read it, I’ll summarize at the bottom. Here goes...

In Dead Man’s Chest, we get the most information for this. Now, the Black Pearl became the Pearl after Jones brought it back up from the depths. Jack was given 13 years to Captain it before we meet Jones in the movies. So, since Jack tried to argue about being Captain only for 2 years before the mutiny, that puts it as follows:

The Pearl sinks and is brought back up by Jones. 2 yrs later, Barbossa stages a mutiny. Somewhere around 10 years later (because the Pearl has been haunting the waters “for nearly 10 years”-Curse of the Black Pearl) so that means Will and Elizabeth are scheduled to marry about a year after they part ways with Jack. So, time between end of movie 1 and start of 2, is about a year.

Now, if we assume that Will got Elizabeth pregnant on the same day that he became captain of the Dutchman, that means Henry is at least 15+ when he is on the Monarch. It was, after all, a different time so a 15 year old could, I think, get a job of his own by then and could be shown having romantic interests. However, it is Disney, so I think that means every character should be at lease 18 for romantic interest to be allowed. That means we already have 13+18 years in the Triangle. However, and this I hadn’t mentioned in my original chat with @acutecupidity, but Carina’s mother brings up something interesting... Jack knew of her mother, and knew that it was someone Barbossa had spent time with. If we assume that Barbossa first got to know her when they were still sailing together, that means it was pre-mutiny. So, assuming Barbossa didn’t get Carina’s mother pregnant the first time, but continued to visit, I think it’s safe to say that Carina is also at least 18 or in her 20s. This is backed up by the actors. If we assume they were cast because they looked to be the right age, then I think it’s safe to assume about low-mid twenties.

Now, if we assume the low end, that means we’re up to 13+20 years, so that’s 33 years as a minimum for how long they’ve been trapped. So, this only leaves 1 area of unknown... How long after Jack ditched the Mary in the Triangle before the Wicked Wench was sunk and Jack first met Davy Jones. Now, Elizabeth had heard of him and talked about him like he was, to some degree, famous. And I’d assume that would take some time, but, if we assume he wasn’t able to pull off big schemes over the 10 years he spent after the mutiny traveling, probably without a crew, that means his fame came just after conquering the infamous Butcher of the Sea. Now, unless he’s pulling off huge scenes in a really small amount of time, even though sailing in that time wasn’t as quick as modern ships could manage, that means it’s more than just a year. We can assume it would’ve taken him about 5 years to gain that fame. Or, at least enough name to get on Cutler Beckett’s radar as a young pirate and a new captain. Beckett doesn’t strike me as the sort to try and make business with people he hasn’t at least read about or heard gossip about, so Jack had to be famous enough to be worth discussing by ordinary people.

So! That puts our math at 5+13+20 to create a baseline of around 38 years at the minimum. Now, this can be debated, but I personally like to say that it can’t be any less than 30 based on that solid 13 years and the base age you can estimate for Henry, even if the Wicked Wench was sunk like the day after the events of the Triangle. The point it, I set them as being trapped between 30 and 45 years. So, when I eventually get around to writing PoTC fanfics, that is the gap I’m working with and the middle areas that get me that number, is open to my own interpretation and manipulation

you can always tell when the people complaining about ABO aren't in any way shape or form affiliated with it at all bc they make the most inaccurate broad sweeping statements about it like 'it's not trans friendly' and 'ppl just wanna play genetically designated bottoms' as if they're the ultimate professional authority on the genre.

listen y'all. please open your ears and listen to my words right now. condemning ABO/omegaverse rp or fic as containing literally any one single trope or set of tropes is like complaining that every romance novel ever written is heterosexual and that's why romance sucks.

there is a WIDE variety of ABO/omegaverse writing. there are certain tropes that are more common, yes, but by no means are they exclusive to the genre nor are they present in every fic or au. just bc the only one you ever saw had a dynamic you don't like doesn't mean that's the only way its ever been written or ever will be written. that's assuming you ever even saw one in the first place - it's also perfectly possible you just hate it via word of mouth and haven't bothered to look into the wide variety of fics available.

so, if you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what ABO/omegaverse is or consists of, here's some fun facts! it absolutely can contain transgender and nonbinary and intersex identities, sometimes all in the same verse, sometimes not. it can deal with the acceptance or nonacceptance of queer relationships (a/a or o/o usually), and touch on sexuality-based oppression including or different from homophobia. it can deal with political gender oppression, it can subvert political gender oppression, it can be pure fantasy smut with very little or no dealing in the political implications. it may or may not contain male pregnancy, heats and ruts, dubious consent, or sex pollen (pheromones, in this case). people can write their alpha or omega characters as tops, bottoms, doms, subs, mix and match as you please.

if you have perhaps been unpleasantly surprised by a starfish omega submissive bottom, let's just go ahead and call that what it is - bad and lazy writing that has absolutely nothing to do with the genre in which that person is writing. people like that write the same pillow princess in every setting.

am i being a bit condescending? absolutely. you know what else is condescending? disparaging an entire genre as One Terrible Thing and labeling people who like it as degenerates or 'cringey'. the best thing about ABO is that it really frees people up to write hugely creative and expansive worlds and geek out over biology, politics, gender theory, and all kinds of other topics, while also occasionally writing whatever hot smut they want to include. don't be so damn dismissive of the incredible work people do just bc you saw some 13 yr old's mpreg fanfic 2 years ago and decided that must be the whole genre.

Writing British Fanfic

Hi guys! This little post is just something me and @survivor-reborn put together for when you want to write fanfic with characters that are from the UK!

This isn’t to discourage, or poke fun at, but to help really set the scene or location, because sometimes there’s nothing more jarring than seeing a word or phrase that just isn’t used as much/if at all in the UK, especially when the rest is pretty good!

Now, that’s not to say you need to do this; these little things can sometimes really aid in telling the story, especially if they are set in Blighty.

1. Mom / Mum

Kinda obvious? Yeah, I know. However it is easily done. Perhaps some people in the UK say this, but more often than not, it’s with the ‘u’ and not the ‘o’.

2. College / University

Right, this might get hard to explain. What people in the USA call college, we call University or ‘Uni’ for short. College in the UK is actually something else. The education system here is not like the US for example, which I’ll get onto. College here is where you get qualifications called ‘A-levels’ which you need to get into uni.

3. Kindergarten / Primary / Middle / Secondary (High) School

Kindergarten: we don’t really use that word. Or at least, I don’t where I live and down in Devon. Does that mean it isn’t? Perhaps not, though I don’t think so. In the UK we have something called ‘nursery’ and that’s for little kids, aged about 3-4 years. 

This leads onto primary school, which is sort of elementary school equivalent. Primary school may have a nursery (mine did) but really it goes from Reception (4-5yrs) up to Year 6 (10-11 yrs). HOWEVER, and this is where it can get confusing, some areas of the UK do have a middle school system, but NOT ALL. I never went to middle school, but my niece did! 

[If the area is a middle school systems, then it goes Infants/First - Middle - Secondary/High. Infants/First school ends at Year 4. Middle school covers from Year 5 to Year 8, and high school from Year 9 to either Year 11 or Year 13 (Years 12 and 13 are essentially college years where you do A-levels).]

For simplicity, just stick with Primary school and secondary/high school. Certain places in the UK call it high school, others say secondary. Others say both. Secondary/high school goes from Year 7 to Year 11 (or perhaps Year 13). 

4. Highways, roads, streets.

This will seem silly. Though we have something called ‘Highway Maintenance’ we don’t use the word ‘highway’ or ‘freeway’. We use motorway for the big (UK-big, which is no more than fours lane in each direction) main arteries if you will.

We say main road to mean the next step down. These roads connect to the motorways (which start with M e.g. M6, main roads start with A e.g A500). High street often implies a street with shops on it through the local ‘hub’, not always meaning city centre. 

5. Supermarket

We don’t often have grocery stores. We might have a greengrocer / grocers, but don’t add ‘store’, we don’t use that word much. But there is the supermarket, where you get most food e.g. Tesco or Morrisons.

6. Chemist / Pharmacy

Can use either but if ever you see the word chemist, we mean the pharmacy.

7. Stores

The only time we use the word store is in relation to ‘department stores’ which sell clothes, home items and makeup / perfumes perhaps, like Debenhams. Use the word shop instead as most people are likely to say that.

8. ‘Ay up mate!

Mate means friend, and though some may beg to differ, you don’t commonly hear the word buddy or pal. Except for perhaps a dog’s name.

9. Lass!

The further north you go in England, and then into Scotland, lass or lassie means girl. They’re more likely to say that.

10. Pop

Some places in the USA use the word pop to mean soda. If we want a particular kind, we’d say the name e.g. Coke = coca cola, Sprite or 7-UP = lemonade (yes, we don’t do the lemon and sugar thing much, so we mean pop if we want lemonade).

11. Sofa / Settee

Though couch is becoming slightly more common, certain areas of the UK might say sofa or settee more.

12. Kettle

You boil water in this for cups / mugs of tea. Found in the kitchen, plugged into the wall, likely next to the teapot.

13. AC

We don’t have AC built in with the house. They might be in offices, but not in the house. 

14. Drinking age

Is 18 here! So if you’re writing about teens in the UK, then legally can drink from 18 years, but have likely been drinking since they were 14/15 because, yeah rules.

15. Age of consent

Is 16 years old. Just so you know.

16. POPTARTS

Others in the UK may say “WTF are you talking about, I eat them everyday,” but I can count on ONE HAND how many poptarts I’ve ever had (three!). They aren’t common in my neck of the woods, and so I don’t think they’ve become a staple in breakfast diets until recently.

17. Pies.

Here in the UK, pies are often savory as well as sweet. We do have apple pie, I have had other fruity pies. But we do also have meat and potato (yum!), chicken, steak, steak and kidney pie, the list goes on.

18. Pasties

Not pastries, though we do have those too, pasties, as in Cornish pasties are savory and delicious. Can be flaky and make mess when eating.

19. Cheese

Unless you intentionally buy the pre-sliced stuff, most kinds of cheese in the UK comes as blocks of cheese. And depending on the type of cheese, different ‘strength of taste’ from mild to extra strong (cheddar).

20. Cookies / Biscuits

Cookies have chocolate chips in them. They are a particular type of biscuit and don’t refer to all of them. Those are biscuits.

21. Gravy / Biscuits and Gravy

Gravy is savoury and commonly brown coloured, made from veg flavours, chicken or ‘meat’. And we don’t have biscuits and gravy.....that wouldn’t make sense with the former!

22. Holidays

Only in Uni have I ever seen the period of teaching called ‘semester’ and the holiday breaks termed ‘vacation’. When in school they’re called instead ‘terms’ and ‘breaks / holiday’. 

We don’t have Spring Break, but we have something called half-terms, which is a week long break in the middle of each term, which usually last between 6-9 weeks, depending on how things are scheduled which are not the same country wide. 

Easter is two weeks off, Christmas is also two weeks, and Summer holiday lasts for 5-8 weeks, it keeps changing but they’re often 6 weeks, and get called 6-week holiday.

23. No Thanksgiving or Fourth of July, just to remind you!

24. Lessons

What are called classes in USA, are often called ‘lessons’ here, or in high school, you just refer to them by subject e.g ‘I have geography now’. Class / classes are often reserved for external activities like dance.

25. Canteen

Essentially the cafeteria of the school. This may not be the same for all of the UK.

26. Queue

What we are known for. We queue, which means standing in a line. At school you might be asked to ‘form a line’ before going back into the classroom, but outside of that, you queue.

27. Rubber

An eraser. They rub out.

28. Take-out

What is called take-out we call takeaway!

29. Bangs

Bang means something else in the UK, so we say fringe: the hair that falls over your forehead.

30. Half-an-hour

We have perhaps an odd way of saying time? We don’t say counter-clockwise, we say anti-clockwise. We often use the 24-hour clock so we know what 16:45 is telling us, which is ‘quarter to five in the afternoon’. We say half-an-hour, meaning thirty minutes. We say ‘ten to’ or ‘twenty to’ or ‘half past’ or ‘quarter past’ etc.

31. Fortnight

Not the game. This means two weeks. Bi-weekly.

32. Aye

I use this to mean yes. Though in the south of England you might not hear it much, the further north and into Scotland, you will hear this.

33. PB and J.

Peanut Butter and Jelly. Well jelly in the UK is what Americans call jello. What they call jelly is jam in the UK. There will perhaps be some people who have this, but I don’t think Peanut butter and jam is that common. At least, not to together.

34. Cheers

35. Fanny

Fanny means arse (ass) in the USA. It doesn’t here and if you said that we’d give a right funny look.

36. British Accent.

NO. NO SUCH THING. I don’t sound like Sam Heughan or Ewan McGregor. Nor do I sound like Tom Holland or Kit Harington. They’re all ‘British’ but the British accent does not exist: if you live in England, you will have an English accent. Live in Wales, you’ll have a Welsh one. Live in Scotland, you’ll have a Scottish accent. Live in Northern Ireland / Ireland, you’ll have an Irish accent. 

And to further make it worse, they’ll all sound different! 

I don’t speak like the guys of Peaky Blinders. I don’t sound like a cockney from London, and I don’t speak like the Queen. Me and @survivor-reborn won’t sound the same. This goes for people in Scotland, Wales and Ireland. We’ll have an English/Scottish/Welsh/Irish accent, but we won’t sound the same, and at times, will use dialectal words: if I said “what do thee know, owt o’ nowt?” only certain people will know what I’ve asked.

So these are just things to perhaps keep in mind, and I know people will likely get things in American culture wrong and across the globe. If you don’t live in it, how will you know?

ERROR: NO RESULTS FOUND ... If we’re talking fanfic though, History Has Its Eyes On You by tasalmalin, is one of the most riveting Hatake Kakashi-centric fics I have ever read. It’s a five part series from the Naruto fandom and features time travel and themes of tragedy, depression and despair, healing and strength of spirit, and love and family that just absolutely blew my mind away. highly, highly recommended. Favourite flower: I love the smell of roses, have a sentimental attachment to pink lilies, and am drawn to the symbolic dualism of sakura blossoms, so probably one of those xD Favourite scent: I love really dark, heady scents; think smoke, spice, cedar, sherry, muscat, and fields of flowers on sultry summer days. Favourite colour: I toss up between a soothing dark blue and a sexy dark red, depending on my mood.  Favourite animals: I don’t really have a favourite animal, but I do love the feeling of grandeur, grace and strength I get when I see creatures like wolves and panthers and tigers. Lucky number: Don’t really have a lucky number, but I am partial to the number 18 for completely arbitrary reasons. Last thing I googled: “gintama dancer au” -- those 7 hours I spent searching for that artwork was totally worth it if only for the feeling of achievement I felt when I finally found it. yes, I am that stubborn. Coffee/tea/cocoa: COFFEE (oh, my Melburnian heart). I enjoy tea too, and sometimes get cravings for hot chocolate until I start drinking and regret it xD Matcha lattes are also amazing<3 If anyone’s curious, my go-to coffee is a flat white.  Average sleep hours: umm. okay, so sometimes I’ll go for two days without sleep, but then I’ll make up for it by crashing and sleeping 17hrs in one day, and on my nothing days, I like to curl up in bed and drift in and out of sleep and lose all sense of time, but I also struggle with mild insomnia every so often and my circadian rhythm is completely out of whack so if you leave me alone without responsibilities for a week, I’ll start going to sleep later and later until I’m falling asleep around 8-9am and waking up around 4-5pm, so I guess maybe 8-9hrs of sleep on average?? 8D Cat or dog person: hmm, I want to say both because they are both adorable, but I am very much a cat myself, so I suppose I’ll have to go with cat xD Favourite fictional characters: Ahem. Blog created: I created this blog back in 2016 at my friend’s urging, but didn’t start actively using it until April 2017 when my Gintama feels simply could not be contained and I had to do SOMETHING lest I melted into little more than an incoherent pile of feelings. Number of followers: 29, which I’m super surprised at considering how little I post/reblog stuff, but makes me nevertheless happy ^___^  What do you post: well, if we’re talking actual posts, not much, mostly for lack of time and energy (which makes me both really sad and angry, because urgh, I want to write, dammit!). At the moment, it’s mostly fic for ginzura and madakaka, very occasionally my poetry, and lately random thoughts that pop into my head because why not. I do want to write for other pairings in the Gintama and Naruto fandoms at some point though, as well as some gen and character exploration fics.  Why did you choose your url: omg this is so embarrassing. “kuraiamore” was the username 13 yr old me came up following a tiny dip into the 2000s emo/goth scene, combining the two languages that I was learning at the time and directly translates to “dark love” (uncreative, I know). I mostly used the name for junk accounts and whatnot, so when I sat down to make a tumblr account without any real intention of using it, I pretty much just typed it in without too much thinking. Now I’m wondering if I should change my tumblr url to match my AO3 username to make it easier for people to find me, but eh, thought for another day.

Regarding this fact, what kind of fanfic do you think he/she/they are writing about and how would you feel about you literally being in it?)

3. Name three favorite writers.

Ahh, this is a toughie! I’m going to list three writers from different fandoms that I admire a lot.

A. Anappleofdiscord from fanfiction.net I’m pretty sure she doesn’t have a tumblr and even tho it’s been forever since I spoken with her personally, she is an awesome person and an awesome writer. She writes for the Hetalia fandom, focusing on gen stuff centering around England and America. If you know anything about the Hetalia fandom, it’s ridiculously rare to find platonic fics about these two and her fics are like the cream of the crop. Her characterizations are on point, her fics are educational and hilarious (and also a rollarcoaster of emotions) plus she pulls off OCs superbly. If you ever check out her fics, tell her that Listenerofshadows sent you ;)

B. Glimare from fanfiction.net I don’t know her personally, but I love her work in the DC fandom. Sadly, she’s since mostly moved on to other fandoms (which is great for her, if the feeling’s not there, don’t push yourself to write fanfic for certain fandoms) but she has a TON of content and it’s all so good. Her most-well known work is a collection of one-shots known as “Daddy, Not Bats”. It’s an AU where Bruce encounters the bat-kids at a younger age and decides to retire to raise them all. It’s sweet, fluffy and angsty all rolled into one.

C. @elfpen from AO3, Fanfiction.net and Tumblr.  I stumbled across her fanfic Reprise when looking for a good star wars time-travel fanfic to satisfy my needs and boy, DOES SHE DELIVER. Most time-travel fics center around the OT era or Obiwan and/or Anakin traveling to TPM, but hers focus on OT!Obiwan traveling back to the era BEFORE TPM. It’s a great fic, I love the characterizations and her OCs are on-point. Not to mention, she also has a lot of other awesome SW and HTTYD content.

4. Name three authors that were influential to your work and why.

A. Anappleofdiscord, again. Because she has actually beta’d my work before and given me great writing advice. I haven’t finished Neverlast, nor barely touched on it, but I’m thankful for her influence she’s played on it.

B. It’s hard to pinpoint my inspiration for my writing, because it’s kinda an intuitive thing? Like, I’ll be writing and a phrase comes up and I’m like “I know I stole that phrase from some fanfic lol” but i don’t know which one??? But basically all the fanfic writers I love are legions above me and I admire them all. But I have to say, I’ve started writing more third-person present tense because of a few good fanfics (but I can’t pinpoint which ones) which it’s a rare tense for a novel to pursue but I love the rhythm of it.

6. How did writing change you?

I’ve been writing before I could even write. Basically as a little four-year-old, I’d make pictures and then dictate to my older sister/mom what the pictures were about, essentially creating a storybook out of it. Since writing has been part of my life for so long, it’s so innate to me like breathing air. I know there’s a lot I could improve on writing, but it’s just a freeing way for me to express myself in a clear and concise manner. In real life, I can be awkward in how I word things and I have a tendency to trip over words or don’t fully pronounce my th-s and s-es. Fanfiction is great because I can explore my favorite concepts of a fanfic in a medium that people can enjoy reading in :)

7. Early influences of your writing

Once I discovered reading was fun (I didn’t learn to read until 2nd grade but that’s okay, because once I did I was reading several grades above my level) I devoured books. Some of my favorite books as a child are: PJO, Chronicles of Narnia, Boxcar Children and Black Beauty. I also did some RPG’ing at a young age, which greatly improved my writing as the constant writing at a rapid pace forced my writing to improve exponentially. There were roleplayers that I admired greatly that I imitated because I wanted my writing to be as good as theirs.

10. how do you do your researches?

Google, man, Google. For example let’s say my fanfic is a historical AU. I know a lot about history, but I might look up a historical site to proofcheck my dates or phrases of the time. Fanfic is nice, because it gives you an excuse to rewatch your favorite show if you wanna make sure you nail the characterizations. I might just look at a fan wiki if it’s a minor detail like what’s Ahsoka’s smaller lightsaber called. 

13. Hardest character to write

Oohhh boy! I think everyone can agree that Yoda and Darth Vader are the two toughest SW characters to write for. It’s hard to get into the head of a 900 yr old troll and Vader is just…really hard? Palpatine is also hard not to make him the typical cookie-cutter villian (Which he is, but I’d like to try to give him some depth). I feel like I write a different take of Anakin every time I write a different AU involving him, but I think that’s because the AUs are at different points of his life and also the AU effects his reaction to things.

14. Easiest character to write.

I know it’s contradictory, but Anakin. He’s definitely chaotic good and it’s fun to write that archtype. I haven’t written much Obiwan (actually I have, but I can’t post it until I write the chapters bridging to him :/) but he’s more lawful good compared to Anakin and throwing those two into the same fic is fun to see. Padme is a fun one to write as well as Ahsoka.

17. Favorite AU to write

I have so many AUs so again, hard choice. Gotta say Impetus, since it’s the most I have written for and I love it. It deals more with the traumatizing effects that slavery/the Jedi have inflicted on Anakin plus an even more problematic Palpatine. I didn’t mean to recreate Palpatine in that fashion he’s basically a pedophile in this AU, the characters kinda just made it happen and I ran with it. It was supposed to be a humorous/fluffy what-if but like everything I touch, it’s also angsty ( ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

19. Favorite fandom to write for

My favorite fandom to write for naturally changes with my interests. I was obsessed with YJ for a while, then Hetalia and now SW. Star Wars is fun to write for because there’s a big audience and it’s pretty easy to find a pocket audience who love the same types of things that you do. YJ will always be my first love. I’m currently writing a fanfic for a YJ fandom event, but I’ve been kinda struggling? I’ve lost my enthusiasm writing-wise even tho I still love it to bits.

20. Favorite Character to Write.

Anakin, probably. It’s funny because I used to never like the PT, but the Clone Wars changed all that. It’s a shame that Lucas went the direction he did for Anakin in PT because TCW uncovered a problematic but likeable hero and I wish we could’ve seen that live-action (It’s not Hayden’s fault btw, the director is the one responsible for what portrayal the actor gives)

27. Best review you ever got.

Okay, so. I used to share an account on FF.Net with a friend and I wrote of a lot of YJ fanfics. One of them was a gen one-shot involving Bart and Jaime that received a good amount of attention. AND A REALLY GOOD FANFIC AUTHOR THAT I ADMIRED AND LOOKED UP TO REVIEWED MY FIC AND I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN OVER IT. I never in a million years imagined that my favorite authors potentially read my fanfics, let alone review/favorite it.

39. Do you want to be published some day?

Kinda. As a kid I’ve always wanted to get published but now I’m not so sure. I’ve never finished any fics other than one-shots and that really has gotten to me. My current goal is to finish at least one of my fanfics but I think I’ve been putting it off because I’m afraid it’s impossible to acccomplish. It’s silly, I know. I just need to do it.

40. Which one of your stories do would you most like to see as a movie/series?

Hmmm….probably my one-shot involving those two bounty hunter OCs. I could just see them trying to survive the universe with the least amount of weird space stuff happening but they seem to get pulled into it anyway. Those two are actually the easiest OCs for me to write, btw.

42. Do you plan or do you write whatever comes to mind?

I’m a weird creature. In life, I like to know things ahead of time. I like things to run exactly the way I planned. I don’t like unexpected variables. but in writing…I rarely outline. I usually write whatever is on my mind. Pure inspiration is awesome…until it runs out and feels like you’re pulling teeth to just to write a single sentence. That’s when I attempt to outline things.

Hismaster can freely touch every part of him he wishes. He can say words to him—hecan do anything he like to him.

Hecan say things like, “You know I love you, boy?” and the slave obedientlyanswers, “Yes, master.”

He’sso very young, but he knows that his master’s words and touch are not love.Only his mother’s is. He doesn’t know how to describe it. Hismom gets sad a lot, so he does his best to repel the sadness away. He doesn’tget angry when she’s sad, because she isn’t angry when he’s sad.

“It’sokay to be sad,” She tells him one night as she runs her hands through hishair, “Everyone gets sad, just like how everyone gets angry or happy.”

“Mastersdon’t like it when we’re angry though.” Anakin pouted.

It ishot—not warm like Love’s fire. No, it burns and consumes him for a moment. Itreminds him of all the bruises and welts that his masters have given him. Angeris selfish and doesn’t love. He doesn’t like seeing the giver of his Love feelthis way. He internally sighs in relief when her anger melts away as he told atale about a funny customer that came in that day.

Hehas never truly felt anger. He flinches from its’ touch and refuses to feel theemotion that his masters are fond of.

50. Your favourite character from any of your fandoms (pick one or several characters you like) is writing a fanfic STARRING YOU AS A CHARACTER. Regarding this fact, what kind of fanfic do you think he/she/they are writing about and how would you feel about you literally being in it?)

I feel like everyone relates when I say I don’t think my life is interesting. I’d pick Cassie from YJ because I feel like she’d be the type to write fanfic. I will say one ironic moment in my life is that I starred in a play as a shy bookworm girl who got the lead role in her school play alongside her crush, the star basketball player, incidentally they ended up together in the end. Everyone irl teased me about this but the truth is….I actually had a crush on the actor himself. We’ve known each other for years and are good friends. And the closest I ever gotten to “kissing” him was a moment in the play where our characters almost kissed before being interrupted by other students. But of course nothing real came of the play and we still remain good friends.  I always note in my head that the hollywood version is that we…would’ve hooked up in the end. I’m sure if I was a fictional character and Cassie shipped me with him and we didn’t get together in the end, she’d be writing a fix-it fic where our pairing is the true pairing in the end. If i wasn’t fictional, I’d feel really weirded out by it. I don’t like fic involving real people in it, especially if it involves ships. I’m almost 90% sure this guy doesn’t have a crush on me and just regards as friends. Which is okay, because I’m not sure if I even want a relationship at the moment.

1. Do you have a good relantionship with your parents?- I mean, i guess i just a “normal” relantionship, sometimes we dont really talk to each other, but others we are together watching movies or playing games, so i guess is ok.

2.Who did you last say “i love you” to?- Written, to a friend bcs... San valentines day, but verbally, probably my mom or my family in general.

3. Do you regret anything?- LIKE 80% OF MY TRASHY LIFE.
