She can just be lounging on the couch, reading a book or lazily watching a movie on television when Bucky walks by and sees her.

It’s not ten seconds before she feels his weight on her as he lays himself down without a word, his head burying itself in her chest as his arms rest on either side of her.

He takes a moment to enjoy her warmth and the soft skin of her cleavage against his face before he lets himself get really comfortable, shimmying down her body just a bit as he lets his head lay back down.

Her hands are already coming up to run through his hair, holding him gently as he relaxes even further into her. A soft moan tumbles from Bucky’s lips under her attention, his eyes already fallen closed.

His face is on her soft tummy as she cradles his head against her chest. When he feels her lean down, placing a delicate kiss on his hair, he swears his heart almost hurts from how full it is.

He never thought he would have this. Never thought anyone would care about him the way she does. He doesn’t deserve it. He knows that. But she’s still here. And she still loves him. He can feel it with every brush of her fingers through his hair. With every relaxed inhale she takes. With every beat of her precious heart that he’s vowed to never break again. And he knows she’ll deny it, argue semantics, but he’ll go to his grave saying he loves her even more.

Her soft laugh catches his attention as he turns his face up to meet her eye. She’s smiling down at him, her eyes twinkling. “You’re like a cat,” she laughs again, her voice quiet, almost a whisper. Bucky has a sleepy smirk on his face as he nuzzles into her again, his hand framing her soft waist, holding her lightly.

“Can’t help it. You’re too comfortable,” he insists.

“You can just grab a pillow,” she tells him, but they both know she enjoys this just as much as he does. When he’s this close, his weight on top of her like it is, she revels in the feeling. Not just warm or content, but safe. Cherished. Loved.

She never thought this was possible, not really. Sometimes, when she’s looking back on the beginning, she worries it’s all in her head. That she’s deluding herself into being this happy. But then moments like this happen. Again and again. And she knows, without a doubt, it’s real. The unadulterated happiness she feels when she’s with him now, it’s nothing but genuine. She couldn’t help it even if she wanted to.

She used to resent herself for it. But she can’t anymore. She won’t. She cares for him. She loves him. Maybe more than she should. But who’s to say. And why should it matter? She knows he loves her just as much. They’re a match made by the fates.

His fingers flex against her waist as he fondles her softly. That sly cheshire grin on his lips cause a brow to quirk on her face as she waits for him to respond.

“You are my pillow. My favorite pillow,” he smiles unabashedly as she rolls her eyes at him, a hint of a smile of her own threatening to play on her lips. He laughs and lets his head rest on her once more, her fingers returning to his hair as they lay together.

It’s quiet again, save the low hum of the television playing. It’s peaceful. Calm.

She smiles as she realizes their breathing has synced. A minute passes and she hears a soft snore coming from Bucky as he naps on her. Gently as she can, not wanting to wake him, she leans her head down once more, placing another soft kiss on him.

His hand ever so slightly squeezes her supple flesh in his sleep as she plays with his hair.

She soon feels herself growing more and more drowsy, too. His warmth and weight lulling her. It isn’t long before they’re both sleeping easily, being held delicately by one another.

His hold on her a symbol of his softness for her, a reminder of the true Bucky, whose warmth was reserved for her alone. A promise to always keep her with him - cherished, safe, and protected. Her hold on him much the same. An unspoken promise of commitment - her care and love for him, despite it all, ceaseless.

highlights of my trip to bella italia

okay! so I am back in the uk having spent a few days in italy, and honestly, I haven’t had this much fun in a long time. it wasn’t without hiccups, like my phone completely and utterly dying on me on my first morning there, or a rather scary spider showing up unexpectedly, or me being so absorbed in giffing at the airport yesterday that I nearly missed my flight (for that one I blame me and my dumbassery lol), but under the cut are some of the good things:

1) meeting anita/@therewas-a-girl who is def my favourite person on here rn. she took great care of me and we had such great conversations about literally everything. I know I’ve said it already but thank you again for everything :) if you aren’t following her already, go and do it NAO bc she is a delight :D

2) the!!!!! gondola!!!! ride!!!!! like it was so much fun going on this rather rocky boat in venice and seeing the whole beautiful city from there, all this water that looked 100x cleaner than the thames even if it was still greeny lol. and it was a beautiful day with like totally blue skies and just. it was so picturesque and didn’t feel real at times. 

the best thing about that ride tho was that there was a couple on the gondola with us, and they legit paid for the whole thing so we essentially got a free gondola ride??? like they were a bit overenthusiastic about the royal family (which lmao I’ve never understood) but it was so lovely that these two complete strangers decided to pay for us. 

there was a moment when I got on the gondola and I swear to god I thought I was gonna tip the whole thing over, lolol, but thankfully I didn’t :P

3) just in general everywhere was so beautiful and it felt cleaner than where I come from in the uk (tho I recognise that that is an extremely low bar). the churches were super pretty and were giving me insp for my original project too which is gr9, and there were cathedrals and palaces and castles, piazzas and pocket piazzas, so many stairs and bridges and archways. like dude. this place is so historically rich and practically every building had a interesting story to go with it. and anita told me a bunch of things about different parts of the country as we visited them. 

4) the food!!! I liked the pizza and the staples of the places we visited like tortellioni and ofc the gelato. and idk if it was just because we walked a lot but I actually feel like my tummy is a little smaller lol so I hope that means I burned some of it off at least. I think I really needed some time to indulge and not worry about all my responsibilities in life, so it was fun actually getting to do that with the food. not to mention they put a decent sized pizza in front of me and it was a good portion size imo. 

not to mention - I found this lebanese place online and we went and I got myself a shawarma, and holy shitballs, people - it was SO GOOD. apparently it’s a thing to put chips (i.e. fries) inside the wrap which didn’t sound right to me lol but then I tasted it and omg it is HEAVENLY. and just generally that was probably the best shawarma I’ve had (I know it’ll be even better when I go to somewhere in the middle east someday).

5) just generally the generosity of strangers was something that sorta blew me away. not just the gondola couple - when my phone refused to start up, I took it to a phone shop and the guy was either really nice or felt super sorry for me bc he literally gave me a(n admittedly outdated) samsung handset for free. and I was able to use that in the meantime so at least I had something to use whatsapp on. and I bought some easter eggs for my family and the lady was like “hang on let me get you some more for free” which is like?? super nice of her? 

6) anita did some kind of magic to my eyebrows and they looked on fleek if I do say so myself ;) 

7) anita’s cat is the cutest little thing ever and has never done anything wrong in his life. bless him. I love cats. my ambition to be a cat lady has only increased by meeting him.

8) being away from my work emails bc I know I probably would have peeked at them if I had my phone, but that’s like the one upside of having my phone not working, lol.

9) before I actually got to italy, I was in duty free and nabbed myself a free sample of foundation which is perf bc I was using the free sample I got from estee lauder for like a whole year and I had run out. I also discovered a lipstick that is supposed to not get on glasses/food etc. I am going to have to test that one soon.

10) oh yeah and we watched wonder woman! so I know I’m like 10 years too late to this party but omg. it was so good! like I legit enjoyed it and thought there were parts that were super funny (the bits that apparently were improvised by the actors which doesn’t surprise me tbh).

Periods with BTS

It’s that time of the month for me and I just wish /I had a BTS member as my boyfriend rn to be there for my needy, emotional, and weak self lol.

JIN:

You and Jin were just chilling at the dorms. He had no schedule for today and he wanted to cook with you. You were laying on their couch,  searching for things to watch as Jin finished up in the kitchen. You suddenly had this feeling in your stomach and you felt something in your underwear. Freaking out, you run to their restroom. You sat there and found a red stain on your panty. You started freaking out because you had no pad(or tampon, which ever you use lol) because obviously, these boys wouldn’t have any.

“Oppa?” you hesitantly called out. “Babe!” you screamed. Jin came running to the door and knocked. “Babe are you okay?” he asked. “um...I got my period.” you said. “he sighed in relief. “Can you get me some [insert what you use]?” Jin chuckles and responds, “Yeah I’ll head out. Just wait a bit because I’m almost done cooking.” You then thank him.

A few minutes later you hear shuffling and another knock on the door. “I’ll go get it now. You’ll be okay?” he asks. “Yes, thank you I love you!!” you respond.

SUGA: 

It was the time of the month and Suga let you stay with him in his studio as he worked on songs. You were sitting on the couch while his back was to you. You often get bad headaches so you laid down, facing him while on your phone. You had a glass of water near you to help ease your pain. 

Your pain started to become unbearable and you really wanted to hug Suga so badly. You started to sigh and whine in hopes to catch his attention. You didn’t want to bother him so you tried to subtly call out to him so he’d come to you on his own will. Suga knew what you wanted and waited a bit to tease you. After a few more whines, he smiled and turned to you. He grabbed your cup and left to refill it. He then came back and pulled you up from your laying position. He sits next to you and places his arms around you. You snuggle into him and he starts to massage your head. 

Suga had his laptop on the couch arm and started to continue working. You eventually fell asleep and he let go of you while you rested on his lap. From time to time he would check on you and massage your head or stroke your back before returning to work.

RAPMON:

You were hanging out but you were in so much pain because you were on your period. You actually started getting very irritated at Rapmon for something stupid but your hormones were making you go crazy. 

It started because you both had just finished eating brunch. You told him you wanted ice cream and he said, “but we just ate? I thought you were full?” you took this as an offense and thought he was calling you fat. You started to argue with him and get all defensive so you yelled at him.

Rapmon left to buy your ice cream and it took him a while. He actually stalled a bit because he knew you needed some time to cool down. You eventually fell asleep on your couch and your back was facing out. Rapmon returned and found you fast asleep. He just chuckled at how cute you were and placed the ice cream on the table. He walked over to you and moved your hair out of your face. He started to rub your back and whisper, “babe, I got you ice cream.”

JHOPE:

This period you were very emotional. You actually didn’t have anything to cry about but you wanted to cry SO BADLY. So you binged watch every romcom and sad movie you could find. 

Jhope actually stopped by your place after practice and found you crying on your couch with a bowl full of ice cream. When he entered, you looked over to him and started sobbing. He rushed over to you and gave you a hug. He went over to your restroom to grab some tissue and found your opened box of [insert whatever you use] and everything made sense. 

As he walked back out, he went to the kitchen to grab himself a spoon. He sat back down with you with a box of tissue and a spoon in his hands. He pulled you close and ate the bowl of ice cream with you. He watched and cried with you the whole night. 

JIMIN:

You and Jimin actually had a date planned for today but you had to cancel because your period cramps were killing you. You were laying in bed wrapped in your covers on your back. You were massaging your tummy with your eyes closed trying to ease the pain until suddenly your doorbell rang. You walked over to your door and found Jimin with a bouquet of your favorite snacks. You were thankful but you groaned at him because he made you get up.

So you let him in and walk back to your bed. You got back into your covers and Jimin followed you in. He let himself in your bed and big spooned. He followed your hand that was massaging your tummy and massaged it for you. You then turned to him and hugged him. You were both laying, eyes closed, in each others arms. Taehyung was actually an annoying boyfriend when you were on your period.  You two were at the dorms doing homework. You were both on your laptops facing each other and Taehyung wasn’t focusing. He kept messing with you, trying to get your attention. You gave him a glare and he stopped messing with you. He didn’t last long and he started dancing around you. 

You started to get frustrated at him and at your homework because you didn’t understand what to do. You were a person who cries when frustrated so you started crying. Taheyung started to laugh at you and grabbed your face. He wiped your tears with his thumbs and made the same faces you were making.

“What’s wrong babe? Here, I’ll help you” he said as he looked at your screen. He tried to help you with the problem but was just as confused as you.

“Let’s take a break. Maybe your brain needs to rest a bit.” he says as he pulls you to the couch and you two watch a little bit of TV.

JUNGKOOK:

You fell asleep watching BTS practice. Jungkook woke you up and told you it was time to go. As you stood up, you stretch a bit and Jungkook caught a little red stain on your butt. He rushed over to you and gave you a back hug to cover your butt from the other members. He walked you, still in his arms, over to his sweater and he wrapped it around your waist.

As everyone walked out and entered the van, Jungkook asked the manager to drop you guys off at your apartment. 

“oooOOOoOO!” the other boys teased. As you arrived at your place, You and jungkook head up to your room. He unwrapped his sweater off of you and tossed it into your laundry basket. 

“Babe, you leaked. Go wash up and change. Manager hyung will wait for us, unless you wanna stay here.” he said.

You twisted to look at your butt and you looked back at jungkook with an embarrassed smile. 

“Oh my gosh, I’m so embarrassed.” you said as you hid you face in your hands.

Jungkook walked over to you and smiled at your cuteness. He grabbed your shoulders and looked you in the eyes. “Babe, it’s ok haha this is normal. I’ll let them know we’ll just stay here, ok?” he said.

ANYways, I’m back with another member for the boyfriend! series. Yo I’m hyped cause Jaehyun is so beautiful and amazing and such boyfriend material

Now, onto how you met! 

Jaehyun and you met in a quiet bookshop that’s not very popular. You’d visited the bookshop since young so it always had a comforting atmosphere for you. And you also took comfort in the fact that you probably wouldn’t meet anyone you knew because it was in a small side street and you were one of it’s only visitors. 

Even to the point where you and the owner, Chittaphon, got to become very close friends since you were usually the only two in there

So you were shocked (like JungSHOOK) when you stepped into the shop one day to find a guy, a very attractive one at that, browsing the books in one of your favorite aisles; the sci-fi section. 

You pretended to act like it was totally normal to see another human in the store other than Chittaphon (IT WAS NOT) and casually looked to see if Chittaphon had bought anymore books for the shop that would interest you

You get curious and start to lowkey stare at the mysterious dude without meaning to. And you may have been staring too intensely or for too long because he turned towards you and started to stare right back at you

Aka it was a stare contest

You guys are only staring at each other’s eyes but then Jaehyun flicks his eyes to look at the rest of you and he blinks in shock

“Y/N?”

“Wait, how do you know me?” Your mind starts sending large, blinding, red signals like STOP DON’T TALK GET AWAY FAST STALKER ALERT STALKER ALERT STALKER ALERT STRANGER DANGER 

“Oh, you don’t remember? I’m Jaehyun. We were in a lot of the same classes back in high school,”

And you’re uber embarrassed about not knowing a classmate from your high school days so you get all red tomato faced and apologize but he waves it off with a laugh

 “It’s fine! It’s already been two years since we graduated and we all look pretty different.”

So when you get home, to jog your memory, you scavenge for your high school year book and flip through until you find Jaehyun.

 And you remember that he was a hella popular dude with the girls and would constantly be getting chocolates and love letters 

You also remember not liking him much. And honestly it was probably just because you didn’t like popular people cause you always thought they were just attention seekers and stuff

And you clearly remember that he would never eat the chocolates given to him which really pissed you off because why waste perfectly good chocolate?

From then on, every time you visited the bookshop, Jaehyun always seemed to be there

The two of you start to chat even though you were hesitant about it at first

But you find it that he’s a really chill guy and super nice as well so y’all become pretty tight (I mean, as tight as you can get when you guys only see one another when you go to the book shop on the same days and during the same time. And this happens quite a lot)

You guys even start leaving post-it notes in books to talk to one another when you don’t coincidentally bump into each other

Most of the time, the sticky notes will be placed in Divergent, since the two of you really bonded on how amazing the series was

Jaehyun’s pretty silly with the notes

He’ll tend to leave stupid puns and jokes or just a little smiley face

But one day, after not seeing Jaehyun for a surprisingly long amount of time, you find a full out card in Divergent

Shooketh to the fullest

You’re like, okay?

And inside the card Jaehyun confesses to you and he just talks about how he always thought you were a nice person in high school but now that he got to know you better, he really liked you. And not just as a friend, but as something more. And how he understood if you didn’t feel the same way 

And out of nowhere, Jaehyun just pops out from behind one of the book shelves

“Hey, not to be a stalker but I saw you read the card and don’t feel pressured to answer right away, it’s just I wanted to let you know...”

And you don’t know what to say 

Your heart is pounding

And this amazing guy is standing in front of you, blushing like hell

You then realize like wowieeee I’ve had a crush on him since we first met each other in this book shop

So as casually as possible you’re like, “yo okay.”

just saying you didn’t say it like that but whatevs 

Jaehyun would be the softest boyfriend ever

And also pretty shy when you guys first started

SO shy that he had like a random conversation with himself before he kissed you for the first time

Like just imagine him leaning into you and you’re like damnnn first kiss going on here omg wow I wonder what his lips feel like whoop 

And THENNNN

Right before your lips touch, he stops and starts muttering to himself. Like you can hear him talk to himself super fast

“You can do it Jaehyun.” 

“Just a little peck.”

“C’mon man.”

“AH but what if I mess up?”

“Nah, I wont.”

“But what if she doesn’t like it? Omg what if she breaks up with me because of it?”

“I’VE NEVER KISSED ANYONE OTHER THAN MY MOTHER.”

“But I practiced with Johnny and Taeyong...”

“Well not practice practice.”

“I didn’t actually kiss them...now that’s just weird.”

“Ah but what if she doesn-”

And you just slam your lips into his to shut him up because despite what he thought, you had heard his entire conversation or whatever the heck it was

After getting over the shyness of kissing, I see him as the sort of guy who loves giving tummy kisses

Just soft little kisses on your stomach. And like sometimes he’ll do it so they’re like fart sounds to make you laugh 

Lol my dad used to do that to me when I was little

And he likes pecking you like anywhere cause pecks are cute

When you’re stressing out out about something or having a bad day and need to rant, he’s right by your side. He’ll be like totally ready to listen to your problems and comfort you and give you some advise

But also be ready when he needs to let something off his chest. Jaehyun will really need some support and positive words when he’s feeling down about himself or if something bad happened

When you’re sick, he’ll zoom straight over to your house and tuck you into bed really lovingly

And Jaehyun will whip up some of your favorite dishes along with a whole big pot of homemade chicken noodle soup which he’ll spoon feed you (He’ll even blow on the soup every time before giving it to you because he’s scared of you burning your tongue)

Dates will be very romantic and cute

Jaehyun will prepare everything and prob in the beginning of the relationship he’d be super frantic before dates and constantly talk to his friends like

“Do you think it’ll be fine? Like will she like it?”

“Jaehyun, it’s fineeee. Don’t worry, I’m sure Y/N will love your date.” 

“Really? Cause I think that-”

“Shut up, get out of the house, and meet Y/N for your date.”

“Okay... but I REALLY DON’T THINK SHE’LL LIKE IT!”

When you guys start to get really comfortable with one another and sleep in the same bed, he’ll like it when you sort of just curl into him and rest your head on his chest or shoulder

Jaehyun never falls asleep before you do (he can’t sleep right knowing that you could still be awake) so he’ll stroke your hair and softly sing some songs until you fall asleep

Once you guys move into an apartment together, he’ll just casually return home one day with a mother freaking dog

And it’s like one of those big ones that is legit right under your chin or at your chest when they’re on their hind legs

Lowkey really scared of those dogs cause I’m short lmao

But he’d just waltz right in the door with this big ass dog right behind him like it’s the most normal thing in the world

You’re shooketh to the fullest but he’s just like

“Isn’t he so cutteeee?”

And Jaehyun’s just fawning over the dog so much that you give up trying being mad and go along with it

Jaehyun will insist on constantly buying new toys and food for the dog and he’ll lowkey joke that the dog takes priority over you

Whenever he’s home, you’ll either see him cooking, sleeping, or on the couch with you or the dog. 

Jaehyun actually spends like 70% of his day in the kitchen, cooking over the top meals for you

Tbh he mostly does it to show off 

He’s constantly stuffing you with food because he worries that you never eat enough

Seriously though, the amount of food he gives you will be the death of you
