thats fair asdklfjasdlf but i LOOOOOOOVE stat raising games lmao so. like. i love that shit. i find them a delightfully fun challenge and have a notebook currently dedicated to 'long live the queen' because i'm slowly getting like every scrap of flavor text and achievement i can (ive plugged about 25 hours in and am only 55% through achievements so far). i'll be picking up either another hanako stat raising game when i finish to slowly work on or like tokimeki memorial... tho maybe after england exchange i'll do black closet since i haven't played that one yet and u say its great

i genuinely enjoyed both 'a little lily princess' and 'magical diary: horse hall' as two other stat raising games they've made. a little lily princess is the EASIEST stat raising game ive ever played bc they... tell you in-game what stats r required and i barely count it as one. and magical diary i found pretty easy too bc as long as u don't slack off insanely at school ur good. so might be worth a shot (also i liked cute knight as a child but i literally haven't played them in like 15+ years i stg so)

for NON stat raising games i haven't finished it but i did genuinely enjoy 'the confines of the crown' (prev known as 'the royal trap' thank GOD they changed it) and 'date warp' was another one i pirated when i was like. idk in high school. 10+ years ago. again, nostalgia tho lmaooooo i played hanako games WAY back when also winter wolves... i loved winter wolves games but in hindsight. so many not good lmao

but yeah if you don't like stat raising then hanako's only got a few for you i fucking adore stat raising games tho so im into it hardcore

3. What ideas come from when you were little

When I was little, my biggest inspirations were fantasy films, video games, animated works and comic books. I used to be really into Harry Potter (not so much now unfortunately) and Spyro. I was obsessed with anything that had to do with dragons, pirates and magic. Disney was a big influence and so was studio Ghibli. I used to love to play pretend during recess and then I would constantly draw the scenes that my friends and I would reenact with our dragon oc’s, cats and wolves. I was the weird imaginative artist kid in school.

7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate

I looooooove pottery and sculpture. My husband actually is a fantastic sculptor. I think to myself that it’s something I’d love to try one day, but I have a feeling that it’s a lot harder than it looks. It looks easy to me, but idk if it’ll be that way. I also really love gouache. I bought a bunch of nice gouache for myself a while ago but I never touched it because it intimidated me. I’d love to take a class on it someday. Painting is much harder for me than drawing.

14. Any favorite motifs

I’m a sucker for art nouveau (hence my username). I love the organic vine look with borders. Especially when they look more like flowers.

So, first of all, how dare you? There's no reason for the emotional whiplash I experienced reading this monstrosity (positive with all the love and respect in the world i promise) yet here i am... a further damaged woman lmfao

But forreal though, you have a great ability to pull emotions out of your readers and thats just amazing in my eyes, especially as a fellow writer myself :') theres nothing I love more than making the ppl who read my own fics suffer emotionally so congrats to you!

I love how you write everyone in the story, they are so incredibly flawed and fucked up and human that it just makes me shed a tear. Thats why MC frustrates the HELL out of me, even though I adore her. Her flaws make my ass itch but all i want for her is to heal and be happy in the end (same with the others! I be wanting to punch the shit outta them sometimes 😭)

ESPECIALLY Hongjoong cause my guy is just unhinged but i love his character the most honestly because unhinged is hot to me. Im still kicking my feet and twirling my hair lmao

The relationships are so real and just... messy. Messy messy in the best way. But i just have to cheer them all on.

That chapter when mc and yeosang banged I was quite literally going bonkers like HELLO?????????????? I didnt expect that but now i want more of it cause their dynamic (especially when it comes to wooyoung) is so juicy

MC is such a tragic character and I feel for her the most. I love how we started off thinking Jisung was this great person but turns out that hes a fucking lunatic. You, Caly literally manipulated us into thinking so, like how Jisung manipulated MC and idk if that was intentional or not but it was brilliant. And Hyunwoo turning out to be like *that* was a punch in the gut. MC being betrayed by the ppl she cared for so much makes her question everything on the crew, especially Hongjoong and that's why I cant be too frustrated with her lol

I dont want this ask to be so long cause i can go in about every little detail 😭 but youve dont such an amazing job. The world building is beautiful, and i dont rly read a lot of scifi like fictions set in space, but when i first got into ateez the first thing i thought of were pirates / space pirates and i even started my own fic with that premise bc i cant help myself but be self indulgent trash so 🤷🏼‍♀️ but thats beside the point

I cant wait to read more of this masterpiece and see how things go. I want everyone to be happy cause you are putting them through the fucking ringer 😭😭😭 please go easy on them I cant take more of this 😭😭😭😭

i'm so touched you think so, i really love evoking emotion out of the reader in my works and i'm glad that im effective in doing so <3 one of my goals from the start of writing moc was to create an mc who isn't always likable or enjoyable to read bc i find those sorts of stories unrealistic and sometimes boring, because even tho the setting is very much not real, having characters who do feel real has always been huge to me! i love creating characters who have peaks and valleys, who grow and stumble along the way, and to really show a journey of growth!! hongjoong is just. pure insanity at its finest LOL he's gonna take a lot to fix but we'll see!

i honestly had way too much fun writing that chapter too, i love love looooooove a good hatefuck and it was just too tempting to NOT do >.<

it was fully intentional to sort of bring the readers in on the manipulation yes hehe! i like playing my cards very close to my chest and not giving anything away until the absolute last second i can!!! i think you hit on something lots of people who want her to just give into hongjoong forget - she's experienced so much betrayal from the people she trusted most and that does really stick in the brain and cause lasting trauma, and our poor mc is deeply traumatized by many things that have happened to her! it only makes sense for her to be retaliating and distrustful of those around her in these circumstances!!

i remember getting into Po.stal years ago by playing the second game, and i thought he was so silly and freaky. i had so much fun playing the game and during that time i was slowly falling in love with him.

they ALL smell awful probably like piss but its fine i'll clean them up and get them in warm blankets and bring them some fat burgers and shakes. i'll pirate their favorite movies and shows and watch it all with them. i'll help them with taking care of Ch.amp and play with him and feed him and help keep him healthy. i'll go with them to buy them new clothes and accessories and we both go out as the weird couple where the girl has scary dog privileges.

Things I loved about episodes 9 and 10 of Our Flag Means Death, in no particular order:

- Talking about Stede’s journal like it was fanfic. Naming fanfic in the episode. I felt seen and heard and validated. So thank you 😄

- Stede’s crew completely backing Stede - defending him being a pirate because they don’t want to see him dead. It’s such a huge turn around for the crew from episode 1 where they were planning mutiny to now defending him, and then in episode 10 planing mutiny against Izzy, when they had fallen over themselves earlier to be ‘real pirates’ and part of Blackbeards crew. What amazing growth!

- Though I don’t like it, the way Stede left to go back to his old life, was powerful. And I think there was something in what Chauncey Badminton said about Stede ruining a great pirate like Blackbeard that hit Stede hard. Stede is ruining peoples lives. He ruined his family. He brought the great Blackbeard to his knees with the Act of Grace. Stede runs away to (in my opinion) stop hurting Ed, but also to go back home to do right by his family, which he holds immense guilt over.

- The Act of Grace! Ed giving up everything to save Stede. Giving up his life and freedom to be close to Stede. He thinks he can live with being the King’s servant as long as he has Stede at his side to do this work with. If that isn’t love I don’t know what is.

- Mary living her best life! All the widows living their best lives once the opressive men in their lives have gone away. How refreshing!

- The fact that Mary and Stede parted on such good terms. They finally can see and understand each other. I love how powerful that part in the episode was where Stede finally understands what love is and that he felt this thing for Ed. All thanks to Mary.

- The FUCKERY! That was the greatest display of fuckery and I keep thinking how proud and in awe and in love Ed will be when he finally hears how Stede faked his own death.

- The kiss. Of course the kiss. I loved Ed’s shy way of putting it. Him, at last, brave enough to cut Stede off and kiss him to really get his point across. Stede’s mind turning to mush ‘You make Stede happy’. That’s a ‘brain-turned-to-mush sentence, thank you very much. 

- I looooooove how despite the kiss the two idiots still don’t know they are in love. Blackbeard, though always having been the more emotionally open of the two, doesn’t bring love into it because maybe he doens’t really know, or have the word for what he feels. He knows Stede makes him happy though. He knows Stede broke (shattered) his heart and trust and maybe he doens’t know why it hurts so much. And Stede having no clue he loves Ed until his conversation with Mary. I love that they are so thick for various reasons, which could probbaly be turned into an essay, but I won’t do that here.

- Broken-hearted Edward Teach. My god. The sad, pained songs, the emo phase, the crying in the back of the cabin while looking at the lighthouse painting. I’m pretty sure he kept Stede’s clothes and will be sniffing them and wrapping himself up in them. Poor baby!

All in all, it was such a good first season and I look forward to hopefully seeing more of it because I long to see their reconciliation, but if that never comes to pass we will always have fanfic.

started getting into DS.AF so I was like “ yo. Kinda wanna make a sona for this shit post game because holy fuck: I love the lore in it too, because me me looooooove lore suihefuisfuisefhus. So I’ll probably keep them as a general fnaf sona but this would just be the DS.AF ver :)). In this cause they go by “ Cappy “ since that’s what all their co-workers have dubbed them by, Their real name is actually Monroe. More info on my sona under the cut cause muhehehehe. Kinda incomplete but I’ll add more when I’ve not got a bad head cold haha. I’ll probably add friends to my f/o list because I wanna go to vegas w/ the boys™  

Dave kinda just often refers to them as “ Buddy boy “ similar to how he calls Jack “ old sport “. Probably talks to Jack about his weird nicknames and kinda how they want to be left alone. 

A lot more skittish, reserved and shy compared to other employees which is why they probably work as the janitor. Probably takes a bit to earn their trust in order to complete different things but I’m guessing if you keep some stuff cleaned: They’d be pretty happy with you. 

I’m going to say the qoute “ Alright Brainiac. Sounds good Einstein. Potato working overtime? “ is in a sarcastic manner probably to poke fun at Jack after he suggests a way to get blood out the suits: When in fact, it’s so obvious they’ve tried that method before or something. Idk I just thought it was funny and sounded like it belonged in the game

I’ve not brainstormed much since I just wanted to make a cool looking pixel dude. Probably mostly found in the janitor’s closet in the first game [ not actively on the map but... I’m just inserting it as a location. ] or sometimes around pirates cove since they’re nicknamed / alias “ Cappy “ sounds pirate-y. That’s what Nathan demanded anyways and they can’t afford to be fired.

Appears in the second game and has a whole ass rivalry w/ Mopson over who can keep the place cleaner and over every little thing ( totally isn’t like “ aww noo.... he died in that suit.... ohhh noooo... /s...” after he’s dead on stage and usually trying to clean away the trash pile because it’s a MESS and messes will not be tolerated ( and they’re trying to keep what remains of their life together so they don’t end up a sobbing mess ). 

Design wise: Elements that make them stand out is the others because they have marginally longer legs than the others. They’re also always grinning w/ a full teeth smile ( since apparently that’s good customer service and they REALLY can’t afford to get fired ) w/ a tooth gap and their signature backwards cap which is where they got the name “ Cappy “ and they WOULD correct their bosses but... Again, they need the job.... 

That’s all I can really process rn thanks to my dumb dumb head cold grrrr afhsuiefh but I had a tone of fun designing this ngl. :)

This was a strange beast... when it came to talent shows, he’s just going to go on a whim and assume this is one of Queen’s.

“I have a few talents...” He trailed off, her last statement confusing him. Whatever he was supposed to be? Did she not know? Was she kidding, or is this even a Beast Pirate??? Yamato wasn’t sure what to think, really.

meet dyna! she’s a bit of a mystery to the ship crew, but she’s quite friendly and loooooooves gossip. She’s a Mynacūl, which is a made up species based on vampires! she has a lot of authority on the ship, but not as much as the captain....speaking of...

Meet Captain Jewels! He’s a trans man, species: Ookunta, which are a fish/axolotl-like creatures. He comes from a matriarchal royal family, and was actually set to become the next ruler until he came out, which caused a lot of upset in his family. This is what inspired him to leave his planet, and he eventually fell into being a space pirate! His fish version of testosterone is taking chemical baths to help brighten his natural coloring
