I should have figured it out earlier. The amount of money they turn over in that server, while accusing fans that do their shit for absolutely free (scripts included) of grifting. Like I get it. He needed to protect the honey pot he siphons money out of fandom with so he can't tolerate people giving scripts for free.

It is cute that you always convince yourself that anyone is melting down, or angry. Things like people laughing so loud at you that they have to use all caps to illustrate how absurd it is is not the dunk you seem to think it is. Speaking of dunks, the way you reacted to that anon does actually show that you aren't an archive account. You aren't even a script hunting account. Rather than there being entire servers of people laughing at you for your desperation and the fact that SPN script Hunt is clearly dead at this point

LAST NIGHT I finished Mitsuhide's route in ikesen!! I chose the dramatic ending since I tend to like em more (i love the time travel nonsense what can I say) and it was pretty nice!! Was very happy I was spot on like two years ago when I was rambling about motifs and Mitsuhide calling MC 'mouse' and I'm so happy we got lots of caught-off-guard mitsuhides! A few years ago I thought I hated his archetype (calm and sneaky and always seems to be two steps ahead) but it turns out I just hate when that archetype is truly Always two steps ahead I like to see characters FAIL I like to see them get SURPRISED and now it's one of my favourite archetypes lol

Loved most of mitsuhides characterisation too, like dude talks like he's gonna clutch his pearls and say "my word!" both as a joke and as a genuine reaction it slaps so hard, I dunno how he talks in the original Japanese but I think his localization's dialogue is So Good I love u translators at cybird whoever u are I thank you for the joy you have given me

I also loved mitsuhide's like, fantasies about the most complete and utterly blissful and fluffy domestic life in the world like DAMN all this guy wants to do is get up at dawn just so he can make a delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread for his lovely wife to wake up to and then they can sit outside on the porch in the mid morning sun like an old married couple and watch the birds jump around the in puddles left behind from the rain from the night before

That was a newer character trait I hadn't seen much before in other routes and side stories that I really liked and felt fit him a lot but on the other hand, one newer trait that wasn't so successful was like this weird new possessiveness? Like yeah it's an otome game it's hard to get away from jealousy in love interests and honestly it's not that I think mitsuhide's not the jealous type, I just felt like the way he showed it was weirdly out of character? Maybe it's just from other routes and some older event stories (haven't really played any new ones sorry qwq) but he always felt like the type to be like sorta quiet in his jealousy? Am I making sense? I dunno lol

Either way it was pretty good overall! Yoshimoto as the unrequited love character fell pretty flat even though I love yoshimoto so much (although unrelated but something truly bothers me about yoshimotos sprite and it's been like this since he was first announced like a bajillion years ago but after staring at him for while I think the thing that's bugging me is his huge-ass irises..........they're so big compared to the old dudes......still love him tho he's just a very chill and reserved absolute diva) even though I love yoshimoto so much he was vastly overshadowed by the hot new spriteless sensation Kyubei (obviously though lol, even mitsuhide got a lil overshadowed by him sometimes............how did this happen he doesn't even have a FACE) but even like in the first half it felt like Ranmaru or someone woulda worked better? Honestly the unrequited love characters tend to not work well in general I've noticed when they're from different allegiances (like nobunagas fuckin drive by unrequited love in Shingen's route zhfbdbsjbg mitsunari in kenshins route being an exception because I'm a stupid slut who loves watching a baby fight a yandere) probably just cause they have less time to actually interact with the main character but eh they can't all be winners it's like the most minor complaint in the world lol

I REALLY LIKED yoshiaki as a villain like kennyos my favourite skeletor and motonari slapped pretty hard in sasukes route and I love him so much but like......sometimes it's nice just having an actual villain who just gets defeated in the end in a thematically relevant death scene and that's that

Shame motonari and kennyos genuinely just fucked off after like chapter 7 tho, like they looked at yoshiaki and were like bye and we never saw them againHsgsjjandbd they off went to the forest to collect mushrooms like yoshimoto I guess....

ALSO loved that yoshiaki had an entire ass sprite with not one not two but at least FOUR WHOLE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS it was so perfectly off-putting in a game that has only ever had handsome dateable boy sprites to suddenly have just a random ass villain, it slapped so hard I kept feeling like the game was haunted every time he was on screen, it felt like he was gonna reach through my phone screen and kill me in real life, it felt like he was gonna turn with his head facing directly to the camera and he was gonna say "well hello there shadowfairyy" like my real ass name or something it was so fucking scary I loved it so much

Over all it was really good!! My favorite routes are still hideyoshis and sasukes but I think this is firmly just below those two with mitsunaris and kenshins! It was also surprisingly explicit with its horniness at the end of the dramatic route I was like hello....hello is this allowed...is this allowed

I still can't believe the dramatic route like actually destroyed me that hard I TEARED UP I teared up.......I am a simple person...I see a cute girl in a visual novel slowly die in front of me and I start sobbing.......doesn't matter if it's an otome game or some vn by key I read when I was 15......this is just a fact of my life
