I have lots of feelings about this okay and half of them come from rage over the number of people who have children to fill a void or fix themselves then don't take care of them.

but like Yen says she wants to be important to someone and watching her arc it feels more like she wants to be safe and loved. she gets the safe part with her power which is why she is so desperate in season two. she knows the extent of human cruelty knows no bounds and it is fucking terrifying to her when she has no magical power to protect herself. she doesn't believe she's found the love aspect of it though. and tbf she hasn't. not yet and not a healthy one in either geralt or istredd

but i think it would be fun and also kinda evil to give her exactly what she wants and watch her realize this wasn't what she meant.

kids are HARD and i bow to anyone who raises kids. shit is ROUGH. and sometimes they don't love you back. and certainly not all the time! like if yen is looking for that sense of purpose and security and doesn't find in it motherhood bc motherhood isn't anything like she expected it would be really interesting? like newborns arent all that cute and motherhood isn't glamorous when you haven't slept more than two hours at a time in months if not years and a whore's bath is as good as you've been able to sneak in in the last week. diaper blow outs and gassy babies and spit up and being peed on and fighting a kid into x piece of clothing fucking SUCKS. the worry and fear first time moms can get is fucking debilitating.

if she wasn't expecting any of this i think it would send her for a fucking loop

bc she clearly wasn't taken care of well if at all as a child, and i doubt her step father let her close to her half siblings so like, does she really know what goes into raising children? other than the things she remembers that traumatized her? but lots of us remember things that traumatized us as just 'how you deal with x behavior' in kids until someone else points it out. and who is gonna do that? geralt? ciri? jaskier? lmao no. no one would know.

in conclusion i want to push yen to the fucking brink so she does some work to be okay with herself and doesn't take her shit out on her kid

niki lays sprawled out on the mattress as you prepare to begin filming. you watch heeseung and sunghoon drag another mattress away from the stack as you curl up next to him from where he’s laying. niki smiles, resting his hand on your back.

“cute,” jay teases.

“the maknaes are cuddling.” jungwon chuckles. you ignore their comments in favor of moving even closer to niki, hiding your face in his neck. he laughs, tugging you even closer.

“you’re so cute, hyung,” niki smiles as he playfully pokes your cheek. “you’re always so clingy.” you swat his hand away as you shift away from him slightly to give him more space.

filming only takes a few hours, but you still avoid touching niki too much for the rest of the day. you shove your hands into your pockets instead of grabbing his hand as you’re driven back to the dorms. you don’t notice the way niki watches as you silently stand up and take your turn to shower instead of playing a few rounds of a random game with him and pressing a kiss against his forehead before leaving.

it isn’t long after your shower before niki quietly enters your room. you silently watch as he walks over to the side of your bed and sits next to you. you shift your computer to sit in between you, giving him more access to the screen, though his gaze remains fully on you.

niki doesn’t break eye contact - even when you turn to face him. he fidgets with his fingers in his lap - as if contemplating something. “what?” he doesn’t reply; instead shaking his head. you decide not to push the topic, returning your attention to the drama playing in front of you.

after a few more minutes, niki slowly begins shifting towards you. he moves so your knees touch. then, he leans his head on your shoulder. when you still don’t react, he finally lays down fully in your lap. a small smile spreads across your face when he reaches over to grab your hand before resting it on his head. you take the cue, slowly twisting his soft strands between your fingers and gently scratching your nails against his scalp.

niki lets out a content sigh, nuzzling closer to you. the drama remains long forgotten in the background as you allow yourself to fully focus on him. his eyes flutter closed as he further relaxes against you. you’re about to close your computer to let him sleep in peace when he speaks.

“you didn’t come find me.” niki’s voice is quiet. you almost have to lean in to hear him clearly. “after your shower. you always come sit with me and we cuddle or game or watch a drama together. you didn’t come today.”

”i’m sorry. i thought you didn’t like it.”

“i do.” niki shifts a little to look up at you. he pauses for a second before speaking again. “is it because of what i said earlier?”

“you said it was clingy. i thought you wanted space.”

“it’s not that, it’s just…” he sighs. you push his bangs back behind his ears, giving him time to answer. his voice is even quieter when he does. “i like you. a lot. and sometimes i get embarrassed about the other’s teasing us so i started joining in. i’m sorry.”

“it’s okay.” niki momentarily pulls your hand away from his hair to press a kiss against your knuckles. you smile, squeezing his hand before he lets go. “maybe i should ignore you more often,” you tease. “i like you coming to me for cuddles.” you pretend not to notice the way niki sulks from his position on your lap. you stifle a small chuckle, coaxing him to lay on a pillow instead so you can curl up behind him. “are you comfortable?”

“always.” niki smiles when you lean forwards to press a kiss against his shoulder, nuzzling further against his body. “i love you.”

“i love you too.”

I found videos for all the eps not in the world's best quality and it's worth itttttttt!!!

This drama finally gets it - we don't want last minute reunion, half the time when we don't even see the other person's face. And we don't get that here, we get an ep and a half of them healing and blissfully together, back to sickly man and feisty woman, and just so much cottagecore perfection (and her driving all the deities away and making sure they won't come again so he can have peace and quiet and healing.)

The Heavenly Law whole set up (giving ancient deities human bodies and hearts because it wants them to slowly fail and eventually disappear making way for humans) is harsh as hell but he's gotten a wonderful soft landing (thanks to all the other gods' remnants ensuring at least the baby of their fam gets out OK) and I love that.

Look at him chilling in his retirement, getting fed grapes. He's finally got to be the spoiled concubine he always wanted.

And this bit! They kept it from the novel!

They didn't have him say his second wish out loud - in the novel it was as many kids as there are grapes - but somehow it made it even more !!!! because then once they start making out, it becomes instead his wish is to have sex with her all the time ahahahah

Look how happy they are. I love it so!

They are starting to get horizontal on a public pier. !!!!!

awe~ this isn't weird to ask at all, i'm actually really flattered, thank you so much for liking my blog aesthetics hehe~ (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.ﾟ

to create the line divider, i use the Procreate app on my ipad, if you're curious, the dimensions i use for them are 540 x 5 px

for the aesthetic pictures i have on my posts, i just go on pinterest with a colour palette and theme (e.g pink + blue ; koi fish/pond/bodies of water for this blog) that i like and create a board of aesthetic pins based on that colour palette and theme - after that it's just a case of picking out the ones i like, playing around with it on a draft post and sometimes even toggle around with the saturation, hues, brightness etc --

you can arrange a maximum of three posts in one arrangement and if you want to centre just one picture on a post, what i do is use two white square pictures and align them on either side to make it look centre, if that makes sense?

also, for the cute letters, there's a setting where you can make the letters small when you highlight text on a post you're writing, it should look like this : <s>

but im just extra when it comes to aesthetics, i just think it'll be more enjoyable for my darling readers to read if the aesthetics are good ( > 〰 < )♡ anywho~ i hope that was helpful!

“Are you sure you want to watch this?”

“As sure as I’ll ever be Hotchner.” You place your glass of wine down on his coffee table, before pulling the throw he had, always kept on the corner of his sofa, because you got cold easily.

He raises a brow at your response as he picks up the remote and settles down beside you. He glances at you from the corner of his eyes and notes the shadows under your eyes, the slightly dull edge to your skin, the chipped nail polish on your nails (gnawed off by you in a stress induced haze), and the excessive rubbing of the knot you had in your neck - all of which tell him that it had been both a harrowing and sleepless week for you at the office, something which he knew, not from being a profiler, but from being your best friend since law school.

“We can always save it for later.” He tries again, only to be silenced by a threatening finger over his lips.

“Press play.” You command, waiting for him to start the episode, bent on staying faithful to your Friday night tradition, on the Fridays neither of you had to work at least, before you drop your finger.

Fifteen minutes, was all it took for him to he proven right, that you were exhausted out of your mind.

Aaron finds himself looking down at you, head slumped against his shoulder, your deep rhythmic breathing confirming that you were indeed, fast asleep. He can’t help but smile to himself as you twitch in your sleep, hands curled into loose fists by your side. Your head slumps further down his arm, and he slips a hand between your head and his shoulder, dislodging you gently, while manoeuvring your head to settle on his lap. He watches as you shift your body in your sleep, naturally, without waking up, into a vertical position on his sofa, a testament to how much you needed sleep.

He threads a finger through the lock of hair falling across your face, and watches as you inhale and exhale peacefully, mouth hanging slightly open. He leans forward and down, lips brushing across your forehead in a gentle kiss. You shift in response, a pause in your breathing pattern interrupting and he holds his breath, worried that he has woken you, mind racing with nerves he could not pinpoint. He relaxes as your breathing picks up the same steady rhythm as before.

You stir to find your cheek pressed against Aaron’s thigh.

“What happened.” You manage to croak out, your head still heavy with sleep, but managing to make out the muffled hum of the television playing behind you.

“You fell asleep,” you pick up his voice, “just like I said you would.”

“Aaron.” You groan, in defiance and protest as you try to lift your head from his thigh, only to fail miserably, sleep still coating your limbs.

“Press play.” He mimics your earlier words and you manage to huff, while turning your face into the top of his thigh in an act of denial.

“ ‘S not my fault worked sucked this week.” You whine, to which he laughs. You shiver lightly at his touch, as he moves a hand to rub comforting circles against your back.

“Want to stay here tonight?” He asks.

“Please.” You mumble out.

“Ok, c’mon.” He lifts your head, placing it gently onto the surface of sofa, and without warning, you feel him pushing the throw off your body, gathering you bridal style into his arms.

“Aaron, I can walk.” You protest, to which he shushes you.

“And let you trip in my house so you can bring a claim against me? I rather not.” He jokes, and you roll your eyes, while giving up your fight.

He nudges the door of his bedroom open with a foot, pulls back the covers with one hand, and settles you onto his bed before pulling the covers back around you.

“Sleep.” He orders, to which you mock narrow your eyes at him for a moment, before gladly complying.

He shuts the door, slipping into the other side of his bed, throwing a glance at your the back of your sleeping form, his features soft, before reaching to flick off the lights.

I think it would be interesting if Conrad's season 3 storyline was similar to Paxton's storyline in Never Have I Ever where his storyline is primarily on maturing and he ends up with an older girlfriend but still remains friends with and has sweet moments with Devi. The one in the finale where she tells him he was a good boyfriend but an even better friend is an example of it. They do share one kiss in the final season but there's no cheating and it serves the purpose of closure. I personally preferred Paxton over Ben and had some issues with Ben, but didn't mind Benvi being together at the end as much as Bonrad because they had more in common and more chemistry. In this case it would be more painful for her to end up with Conrad because she chose his brother. Also Paxton's narrator episodes were really interesting, so I hope Conrad's isn't stagnant and boring in season 3.

NO BECAUSE U GET ITTTTTTTT. THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN MEANING TO SAYYYY

I personally dont care anymore if Conrad falls off the face of the earth (🥰) BUT I know that a lot of people genuinely love his character and for that, I am all up for a redemption arc (especially if DONE WELL, it would be a really powerful message of self-love and self-care in young men).

The storyline has to be a Paxton-esque one 😫. Both Paxton and Devi acknowledged how important their relationship was to their growth but knew they weren't right for each other in the end. It doesn't mean that their time together was a waste of time, quite the opposite actually and for that to have been acknowledged was a really great thing to witness for me personally.
