Okay so!! Some basic stuff about my Plargos + Mark Found Family au (<- seriously I need a name for this, this is way too long) . Argos and Mr plant became friends with Mark, and as they become closer 2 each other it becomes apparent that it's more like them adopting Mark instead of being friends with him . Obviously Mark has been thru a LOT and takes a while 2 fully trust them,, but they care abt him sm and help him with when he needs help with anything- emotionally or physically . And they become a Found Family aww . For more info I literally wrote a fanfic about it soo if u wanna read it it's "A day in the life of Mark" in ao3! :33

Anyways!! With regards 2 your question, short answer it's young Mark . Long answer, So after a few months after Mark escaped Billy, he migrated 2 the Void. After staying there for a few days, he meets Argos!! There they became friends n Argos introduced him 2 Mr plant and they became friends too! After a bunch of shenanigans they become a found family :3

Space! Mark with Concerned / composed Capitan

Hello, I just got into the fandom and I love everything here. So I think we all love Engineer!Mark, and I thought of the dynamic with Mark and his laid back, more serious captain, so have this. Warning: English is not my first language so I'm sorry for any mistakes, or confusion. Enjoy :)

• The Engineer is very energetic, sometimes he can't stay still, so there will be a big difference between you two • But Mark loves it, he cannot stop telling others how composed and considerate their captain is, even though everyone knows it • Mark admires how useful you can be, and you always make well-thought-out decisions • He himself can be impulsive and that's is not exactly a bad thing, sometimes you need a person who can come up with something right away, even if it is not the most prudent decision • Mark always encourages you to do things that you are afraid of, of course, he never forces you to do it, he only encourages you • You often have to "watch over" your engineer so that he does not accidentally hurt himself or someone else • This does not mean that you cannot leave him alone, if you give him a specific order, he will fulfill it perfectly, no matter how annoying that order is for him, you are his captain and a friend, he knows that you want the best for him • Mark is always around to help you when you feel insecure • He can often sense your anxiety, notes specific gestures that you make when you are stressed, then he calms you down as soon as possible and makes you a tea / other drink that you like • When you worry about him, he feels happy, you care about him? Omg the captain loves me :] • You talk a lot together in your spare time, about anything and everything and you enjoy it, you can talk about your day from your perspective and Mark always comforts you by telling you how good captain you are • Everyone around enjoys your dynamic, sometimes it creates funny situations, even Celci smiles because of your stupidity • Mark: "Captain, do you think we need more windows in our ship?" Captain: * Has flashback of how Mark flew out the window * "… I'll leave it without comment" • Captain: "Mark, can you be serious for five minutes, please?" Mark: "My record is four, but I guess I can try :)" • You have to remind Mark at times how important he is to you, and Mark cannot hold back happy tears • Due to how much he respects and admires(maybe loves)you, he sometimes mimics your gestures and statements, he sees you as perfect, along with your fears and uncertainties • He's happy when you're happy :)

he'd show up to class early, sitting at the back of the lecture hall, waiting for you to show up and soon as he sees you walk in with the same pretty smile he loves so much. He'd immediately take his earbuds out, pausing the playlist he had made of songs that remind him of you so he can greet you as soon as you take your seat next to him.
