It's a dance, this thing with Essek, a waltz in three-quarter time. He steps forward, Caleb steps back, and they twirl, onto the next measure. Usually, the Sending comes as a question, casual, demur—Are you free this weekend, Caleb Widogast? Will I be imposing? Would my company be welcome?—and the response is equally as coy—If you would like, I could have the spare bedroom made up, should you find the time to stop by.

(Not once has Essek used the spare bedroom. Caleb's not even sure he knows what it looks like.)

Tonight, however, the Sending doesn't come. There is no warning before Essek appears, panting and wild-eyed, in the middle of Caleb's cottage. The Alarm spell diverts Caleb's attention away from his lecture notes just half a beat before Essek's body collapses to the floor with a thud.

"Meine Götter." Caleb rushes from his little writing desk, crashes to his knees beside his drow friend. "Essek!" He takes his face between his palms.

Essek's face, usually a lovely, delicate shade of lavender, is mottled and dark, and Caleb struggles to identify where a bruise ends and the blood begins. One eye is half-swollen shut, the other barely focused on Caleb's face. "Sorry...to drop in..."

Caleb could kick himself for not preparing any healing spells this morning. "You are very injured—what happened?"

One of Essek's trembling hands comes up to grip Caleb's forearm. "The war...may be over...but the old hate lingers..." He coughs, and blood coats his lips, glistening and dark. "Careless. Foolish."

The rage flares up so hot and bright, it's a wonder the cottage doesn't ignite. Caleb shifts so Essek's head is cradled in his lap. "Can you heal yourself any?"

Essek's good eye drifts shut. "Tapped out. Long day."

Caleb swears under his breath, then says, "Come. Let me get you to bed." He begins to carefully lift Essek up by the armpits.

"No." Much to Caleb's surprise, Essek tries to stagger away on his own. "Should...go. Don't want to...lead anyone...here..."

"Scheisse." Caleb pulls Essek in closer before he topples over again. "You are in no condition to go anywhere, and if you think I care for a risk when you are this injured, then you do not know me, Herr Thelyss." There is no more fight as Caleb ushers Essek into his bedroom, throws back the covers, and helps him into bed. He diligently removes Essek's boots and places them neatly next to the nightstand. "I will return in just a moment, liebling."

And he does, leaving Essek just long enough to retrieve a basin of warm water and a cloth. He perches on the edge of the bed and begins to gently dab the blood from Essek's face. "In the morning," he whispers, "I will prepare the spells to heal you good as new, ja?" The water in the basin is now rosy pink. "And then I will do what I do best."

The good eye, which had been closed, creaks open warily. "You will not."

The blood on his forehead is gone now. "And how do you propose to stop me?"

"I am far more skilled in dunamancy than you, Caleb Widogast."

"Then perhaps I exact my revenge before I heal you."

"So you would let me suffer while you go off to play a hero?"

"Ah." Caleb leans forward, brushes the lightest of kisses on his forehead. "You are already arguing with me again. You'll be fine."

The eye flutters shut once more. "You are maddening."

Caleb swallows down a lump in his throat. "Get some sleep, liebling. I will be here when you wake." He finishes cleaning Essek's face to the best of his abilities before carefully sliding into the other side of the bed.

Just as he magically snuffs out the last light, a soft murmur in his ear: "Nowhere else I thought to go."

It is a dance, but these steps are new, stuttering. "You will always be safe here. This is your home, too." He's not sure if Essek even heard him, but the words are true all the same.

“Mr. Edgeworth!” Kay screamed as she tackled him in a hug.

“Oof! It is good to see you again Kay. How have you been?” He smiled, awkwardly returning the hug.

“Good! Good! Is Sebby here? I haven’t seen him in forever!” Kay let him go and began scanning the room.

“Prosecutor Debeste is currently in the middle of a trial, however you can stay at the prosecutor’s office until he returns. I have some people I think you would enjoy meeting.” He turned around and waved at her to follow him.

Kay had spent the last few months abroad, helping Franziska and interpol. With the recent end to an investigation, Franziska and her had returned to LA. Franziska would be leaving again in a few days, she only had to retrieve a few files, but Kay was planning on picking up an investigation here. She really did miss LA and it’s prosecutors.

“So, who am I meeting? Is it “that man”?” She asked, doing a terrible Edgeworth impression. He rolled his eyes.

“No. We’ve acquired two new prosecutors I’d like you to meet.”

They climbed the rest of the stairs, with Kay telling him all about her time with Franziska. Apparently Franziska had been done with Kay’s antics after day two. So, she’d told Kay to just investigate on her own, that explained the call he’d gotten. Not long after the two had left, Franziska had called him to tell him he was insane, and nothing else.

“Now, they are a little strange to say the least,” Edgeworth said, as they approached an office. “I’ll introduce you to prosecutor Gavin first, he’s the more… calm of the two.” He muttered something else that she missed. “Prosecutor Gavin,” he said, as he pushed open the door. They were met with yelling so intense, she was surprised they hadn’t heard it outside.

“Herr Samurai while you have a point-”

“Gavin-dono your refusal is futi-”

“Oh my god! You’re Klavier Gavin!” Both men stopped yelling at each other and turned to the door.

Kay stood jaw dropped, pointing at Klavier, and Edgeworth just sighed. She ignored him and ran up to Klavier.

“I love your music! Can I get an autograph? Or better yet,” she fished around in her bag and pulled out a Gavineers CD, “Can you sign this?”

Klavier shook off his shock, and glared at Simon who had started snickering. He turned back to Kay and smiled, “Of course Fraulein.” Kay let out an almost deafening squeal. “And who am I signing it to?”

“Kay, Kay Faraday. I thought Sebby was lying when he said he worked with THE Klavier Gavin… I guess I owe him an apology,” she grumbled the last part. The two prosecutors were shocked when Edgeworth gave Kay a fond smile.

“Now,” he said, turning back to the two prosecutors, “What on earth were you two fighting about?”

“Gavin-dono and I were merely having a heated debate on whether Justice-dono would accept the proposal of a date with him,” Simon smirked, watching as Klavier’s face turned pink.

Edgeworth nodded, “Please keep these debates civil, or do not have them at all. But for the record, I’m sure Mr. Justice would absolutely accept the proposal of a date.” He smiled, before turning around to leave. “Do not cause too much chaos Kay, Prosecutor Debeste should be returning soon.”

“Yes sir!”

Note: The world has its own map, but all countries were inspired by one or more countries in our world, to be easier I will use the name of the countries they were inspired by; Also I'm not religious, but I like learning about religion, I'm currently reading the bible since its my oma religion, and it may have names or stories similar to different mythologies, as well as creatures from other cultures. so I ask that you don't mind "wrong" information as much has been modified for my own pleasure. If you want, you can tell me about the original versions of the inspired myths or any interesting facts about the creatures, I'll be happy to read them!

A long time ago, before the universe existed, there were two opposing energies, which existed in constant balance. Their names were Herr Alov, the Imperial Entity of masculinity, abomination, bitterness and contempt, known as the "father of wickedness"; with its shades of blue and purple could hide anywhere. His wife on the other hand, had beautiful greenish-pink tones, "mother of kindness" and Imperial Entity of femininity, purity, sweetness and passion. Her name was Fraülein Pajünk.

In addition to being lovers, they were also friends, as they were the only things that could be considered "alive", even if life at that moment did not exist. They spent millennia together, without ever having a purpose, they knew that there was something beyond all that dark immensity, but neither of them cared enough to organize that mess and see what could emerge.

Ages passed in the blink of an eye, Fraülein and Herr were happy in their own empty little world. But one day, they saw a small white light forming in Fraülein's belly, they were fascinated, they had never seen anything like this occur. This little light would soon become Dáskalos, a being similar to them, who with his willpower organized all the mess in that place, leaving the Ether clean. Dáskalos was the Primordial Kosmik Entity of the gods, creation, love and motherhood.

Seconds after his arrival, a pink light jumped from Fraülein, merging with Herr, to later become Chronos, the Entity of time, youth and old age.

Chronos and Dáskalos were partners and close friends, but above all, brothers. Fraülein and Herr raised them as if they were their children, which in a way was true. But they couldn't imagine, or understand, the reasons why they were so bored, but they didn't stop them from exploring if that was truly what they wanted. Therefore, Dáskalos poked around a bit in the junk that existed in the ether, discovering something called "Universe", marveling at his discovery he showed it to Chronos, who agreed to help him "create" the universe.

Along with the universe, Dáskalos wanted to understand how they were created, so he could reproduce the same thing; Despite several failed attempts, in the end he and Chronos succeeded, a small creature of white light called Anthisí, the God of oblivion and truth. Anthisí was like a son, they loved being together, never separated and invented different crazy things to have fun every day, but... as the years passed, Dáskalos began to feel lonely in the face of the immensity that he himself had created, he loved the company of Chronos and Anthisí, and would never replace them, but he wished there were more in that hollow place.

For a long time Dáskalos tried to create something beyond what already existed, something that would expand on its own; he was so focused on his experiment that he didn't even realize that he had already created it, in addition to missing the creation of Chóros, God of space and abundance, and Goitéia, Goddess of beauty, childbirth and luck; Later nicknamed by her husband Aphrodite. Dáskalos was obsessed, but no matter how hard he tried, nothing worked.

Chóros and Goitéia were cared for by Fraülein and Herr, and raised as Chronos' siblings. Because of Dáskalos' obsession, Chronos decided to distance himself, it wasn't an easy decision, but he felt like he had lost his best friend, Anthisí was the only one to side with Dáskalos with that madness, they didn't want to abandon him, but also didn't know what they could do for him. Dáskalos thanked him with a stuffed creature, a small teddy bear.

Only a thousand years later Anthisí manage to find an answer; For something to live, it must be able to die as well. It was then that they understood, that for the life that Dáskalos wanted to be created, he would have to give something in return, but he was not willing to sacrifice anything.

Anthisí separated into two parts, both red lights would become Zoikáli, goddess of wildlife, hunting and animals; and Thanátos, goddess of death, destruction, marriage, chaos and dance. Thanks to the twins, Anthisí was able to experience life, and when they felt ready, they said goodbye to Chronos with a hug, obviously he didn't understand, but he realized what his son was talking about as they slowly disappeared in his arms, dying, they cried holding that teddy bear, but he was happy to have spent his life with those he loved most...

He was the sacrifice Dáskalos needed and the one he couldn't make alone. As an immortal being, Anthisí's death was different, even though he could not communicate with anything, he had not stopped existing.

Dáskalos never forgave himself for the loss of Anthisí, and Chronos embittered his heart, refusing to listen to Dáskalos' explanations and cutting off all ties they had.

But not everything was in vain, with his sacrifice Anthisí had his body divided into 19 more parts, or rather, gods. They are :

●Astrikos: God of Transmission, Migration, Curiosity, Fidelity and Crystals.

●Thymitheíte: Goddess of Memories.

●Mérany: Goddess of the Hours, Suns and Moons.

●Téchni: God of Light, Arts, and Crafts.

●Lefkói: God of the Celestial Bodies and Gravity.

●Pragmátikos: God of Reality, Physics, Chemistry, Sleep, and Diversity.

His twin brother

●Eikósi: God of Rationality and Divination.

●Aisthima: Goddess of Sensations and Feelings.

●Thlípsi: God of Energy, Soul and Discord.

●Saloni: God of Torture, Displeasure, Sarcasm and Satire.

●Fóvos: God of Fear and Lies.

●Sófos: God of Wisdom, Cunning and Pleasure.

●Kudikaiosyni: Goddess of Understanding, Peace, Conciliation and Harmony.

●Mitéra: Goddess of the Soil, Planting, Cultivation and Harvest, Mountains, Fire, and Fertility.

●Thalássios: God of the Seas, Winds, Clouds and Skies.

●Selini: God of the Stars, Oracles and Prophecies.

●Ichikí: God of Music, Parties, Theater and Wines.

And the twins

●Seirá: Goddess of Laws, Divine Justice and Order.

And

●Pólemos: God of War, Aggression, Protection and Strength.

These gods, with the inclusion of Zoikáli and Thanátos, are considered children of Anthisí, but genetically they have no connection as they are beings made of light, the closest they have to any kinship are family honorifics, such as "father", " mother", "brother", "sister", "cousin" and so on. Initially they didn't use these honorifics, but when some beings like Humans and Jaifusas began to use them they did so too, and over the years this ended up becoming a habit.

During their growth, many formed bonds and enmities, they were children when Anthisí died, and were raised mainly by Fraülein, Herr and Goitéia, as Dáskalos and Chronos could not look at those children without remembering their son; Chóros on the other hand, refrained from having contact with the children as he was busy trying to help Chronos overcome his grief.

On any given day, while Seirá was punishing Pragmátikos, Pólemos stepped in, defending and protecting his older brother.

"Can't you forget about this for just one day? You promised we would see Lefkói!" He asked, believing that Pragmatikos did not deserve that punishment.

"First it's one day, then it's two, and in a short time he will never be punished, he deserves it!" The goddess of justice reprimanded him.

Pólemos continued to try to talk to his sister, but his efforts were being in vain, since the goddess was increasingly aggressive and didn't want to listen to anyone, if only Kudikaiosyni had been there at that moment... maybe Pólemos wouldn't have been hurt, and perhaps Seirá would not have gone blind. The siblings who had always gotten along so well, who swore to be by each other's side, working together to make Fraülein happy... now found themselves broken, separated by bitterness and regret; Her blindness caused Seirá to change forever, from an understanding and sweet person to those who deserved it, she became a merciless dictator.

Kudikaiosyni even tried to talk to her so they could resolve their problems, but Seirá was so disgusted with herself that she isolate herself from everyone, breaking Kudikaiosyni's heart, who loved her.

Zoikáli and Thanátos were also very close as children, they never separated and said they would be together forever. Zoikáli loved her sister so much, that without anyone's help she made a gift for her, a necklace that could be opened to show a "photo" of them, the idea was that when they were adults and had to spend time away from each other Thanátos could look at that Photograph; she loved the gift so much that she made an identical one for Zoikáli.

Unfortunately, that necklace was the last gift they would exchange. Because when things started to really take shape, when Lefkói's planets started to finally stabilize, Zoikáli started to get angry with his sister, Thanátos did everything she could to make her happy, but she always ended up making mistakes and "ruining everything".

During his adolescence Zoikáli became withdrawn, saying she "wished Thanátos had never been born." That broke Thanátos' heart, so he "dyed" his dark red hair to a shade of black, let it grow, started wearing dark clothes and modified his body, moving away from Zoikáli as she had asked.

Pretending his non-existence to please her, he slowly sinks into a horrible feeling, to the point of wishing to die like his father. But his brothers Ichikí, Mérany, Astrikos, Thymitheíte, Pragmátikos, Eikósi, Sófos, Kudikaiosyni and Pólemos sided with him.

With the expansion of the universe and the creation of the first forms of life, the gods looked for places they could call home, for convenience they decided that no matter where it was, it should be in the same galaxy, so they settled in the nearest one, Andromeda. Named after Lefkói and Selini's eldest daughter. The other 14 planets were also named in honor of the couple's other children; in order of birth and proximity to the sun: Hoss, Gaia who was replaced by her sister Ithelen, Blan, Tenz, the twins Octo and Locto, Felettus, Plutos, Aszio, Crillis, Fellyos, Cerus, Neronubes and Pomos. Since the children of Neronubes and Pomos are also minor planets, Notik, Nodius, Noosfer and Nom of Neronubes, and of Pomos; Hartia, the eldest of the 20 children.

Thanátos knew that his sister wanted him to stay as far away as possible and for as long as possible, so he created a place where he could send the souls of the dead, and where he would call home, he didn't know what to officially call it, so he asked Téchni, since in the absence of Dáskalos he was the best option; Téchni suggested that he call it "Tartarus" after his name, Thanátos didn't quite understand, but accepted anyway.

By shaping the Tartarus he created 5 main provinces; Adonai, the place where those who displeased him, the worst people in the world, would stay; Elysium, a place for those who had been good people in life, and which would later be used to name another of Lefkói's daughters; Hades, a large city where he could leave any creature he created without having to bother others; Zeilako, named after his twin, was a place where he could send souls back to her; and finally the Castle in the middle, which also became known as the Crystal Castle, was an incredibly large building, with 4 huge towers, each facing one of the provinces. The castle was surrounded by the waters of the River Styx, it connected all the rivers that separated the provinces; these were: Phlegelonte in the East, between hades and adonai; Cocytus on the South, between hades and elysium; Lethe on the West, between elysium and zeilako and Acheron on the North, between adonai and zeilako.

All the provinces were huge, but they had an end, except hades, from where their future residents could go to the crystal cascades, the desert of the soul among other "tourist" spots; Furthermore, he also made a point of placing an opening to the underworld on every planet. However, for the first time in his life talking to Thanátos, Chronos said that time in Tartarus should be different, and thus made 1 day on the planets of Andromeda 260 years in Tartarus. Finally finishing his biggest and best project.

Mérany created many suns throughout the galaxies, inside Andromeda she created 10, and decided that she would stay on her tenth, which was in the middle of the solar system, the center of that place. The others would be spread across Andromeda, never appearing on one planet at the same time; Mérany is Thanátos's best friend, so when they were younger she used to visit him a lot, she was always willing to help him with his crazy plans. She, together with Téchni, created an artificial sun for Tartarus, it would be in the highest center of the Castle and would be able to illuminate the entire underworld.

Saloni was madly in love with Mérany and Fóvos, and would later marry both of them, which is why he visited her in the sun for half the year, but his real home was in Ithelen along with some of his other brothers; Fóvos wasn't different, he also stayed on Ithelen, but while Saloni went to visit Mérany in the spring, he wandered around other planets, creating terror throughout the galaxy.

Thalássios had great difficulty finding a main planet, after all there were many planets with water, but in the end he decided to stay on Ithelen, a planet that had a large percentage of water in its composition and seemed the perfect place to create some hurricanes. Mitéra also had difficulty finding a planet, and honestly she was in doubt about where to stay, but Thalássios convinced her to stay on Ithelen.

Pragmátikos didn't feel like he fit in anywhere, for a long time he stayed by Mitéra's side, but he felt abandoned when she left him to live in Ithelen without even warning. Thanátos found out about this from Mérany, so he offered Pragmátikos to stay with him in the castle, Pragmátikos accepted, and years later, when he took on his feline form, he began to act like a cat to Thanátos and his family, who happily let him sit on their heads and hang on their shoulders. The same happened with Pólemos, who lived with Thanátos until he moved to Hades with his wife, and both had Thanátos' blessing.

Astrikos was other who decided to live in Tartarus, but his motivations were different. He always needed Thanátos' help to decide whether a creature would die, after all it was a joint decision, although Thanátos always had the final word. So to make his life easier, Astrikos decided to live there.

Ichikí was another who visited the Tartarus constantly, he and Thanátos were very close; Ichikí felt safe around him, so whenever he could he stopped by to see him, Thanátos liked to see him as a son, so he would never deny a visit from his most precious little brother.

The others, like Eikósi, preferred to stay in the Ether, only appearing to visit their brothers or when they were formally summoned to some place, and similarly invoked by lesser beings with prayers and other rituals.

i bake!! my skin is meh like so honestly. the smoothness in the pics is partially a filter but i get my base rlly smooth through a couple of things

i use the elf power grip prime (LOVE HERR) and i dont wear foundation!! i do wear concealer and cream products (blush + bronzer) my base is a bb cream!! the pink maybeline one in medium dark and i use the fit me concealer!! i never change my base and there's only one foundation i sort of kind of like but i never use!!

i always bake my undereyes bc it WILL CREASE if i dont. but the rest of my face not always!!! i use the wet n wild loose powder... its so good my makeup STAPLE i will die without it

It was a quiet day… night? Well it was quiet in the Felt Manor, far too quiet for Doc Scratch, he would usually enjoy his peace and solitude but today for whatever reason was an exception. "Well, this is boring, I do hope Miss Colette will visit me soon, our interactions are always so exciting." Doc Scratch nodded, closing his paper to think more about his love. "With most people I can easily guess their every thought, move, and plan two steps ahead… Yet with her, I can never quite tell for certain what she will do next, it truly makes our interactions one of a kind…" Doc smiled internally, placing his head on his hand as he leaned over in his armchair "Not to mention how breathtakingly divine she looks, a real work of art captured in human form." His face turned slightly pink as he thought more about her, her brash attitude and kindness to others (as opposed to him) were truly captivating.As he began to open up his paper again he heard a knock on the door, 'Hm, the familiar shave and a haircut, well this should at least be entertaining…' he thought standing up to get the door.

The knock repeated itself making him sigh somewhat annoyed, turning the knob "Yes, yes, Sir, I know you're he–" Yet much to surprise instead of the big living pool table it was the girl he had just been thinking about, "Ah, Miss Colette I wasn't expecting you, you have quite a similar to English…" Scratch then moved aside to let her in, she was soaked as it had been raining outside the Felt Manor. She shivered and sat on his chair, he somewhat grumbled before grabbing her a blanket, multicoloured with many different numbers on it. "Oh, uh, thanks for the blanket Doc." She smiled somewhat, snuggling further into as he went off to make some tea. "Of course my dear, now what are you doing here?" He asked, sitting on the nearby lounge chair, turning to …face(?) her while knitting his hands together.

"Can't I just visit a friend without a reason, why were you busy today?" Colette's tone was brash but it did seem like she was still somewhat concerned that she may have indeed interrupted him while he was busy. "Not at all, it was rather boring before you showed up. I'm glad to have you here now however." Doc chuckled, flustering the girl and making her tsk before turning away slightly embarrassed. 1) Chris Stapleton - You Should Probably Leave i dont listen to country all that much cause im not american, but heres a recent country song i enjoy a lot!

2) Komuram Bheemudo from RRR really great song from a really great movie, and even better in context so def go watch the movie if you like it :)

3) Garmarna - Herr Mannelig first heard this a bit ago in a video with stereotypical music from a bunch of countries and liked it instantly. i love folk songs like this that have a really strong beat

4) Krezip - Sweet Goodbyes this has been one of my favourite songs for over a decade now, sadly not very well known outside of the netherlands

5) BLACKPINK - Pink Venom not my favourite blackpink song but still good
