This image pretty much encapsulates everything I love about Huntlow.
Hunter and Willow are both damaged and troubled people, it's clear. But they don't rely on anyone too much, they're both independant people at heart. They don't want to burden anyone with their problems, or act like something's wrong. They want to present themselves in a way that makes them appear strong and confident (with Hunter and his GG arc and Willow with pretty much her whole arc) that ends up harming their mental wellbeing as a result, as they don't want their true insecurities and weaknesses to be brought to the light. However, when they meet in the middle, they finally meet someone who gets it. And they help each other. Comfort each other. Lift each other up. Lean on each other. They are not co-dependant, but they are prominent driving factors in each other's arcs.
This is why this image is so important to Huntlow. You can see their scars and bruises from the battles they have fought, and came out of them alive. And no, they don't fully hold hands, they don't fully depend on each other. But they hold pinkies, as a steady reminder that they are there for each other, that they get each other, that they love each other. It's a comforting "i'm here" finger hold. Before, they would not have reached out to anyone like that, they would have dealt with their own scars and bruises and problems. But with the influence of the other, they managed to finally reach out.
Lumity is definately the best ship in TOH, but Huntlow is my personal favorite for those reasons.

ill make a longer post at another point but I think the character design in good omens is just so good. the main thing that is stuck in my mind is how simplistic the archangel's outfits are. at most they have like, something over their shirt. but then aziraphale is out here with his gay ass twenty-something layers, which is closer to the layering of hell. of course he is also always somewhat behind the times or standing out, like the outfits that demons wear (which can be seen with shax's battle outfit- or that's what comes to mind). crowley's eyes mirroring the gold that all of the archangel's wear. the way that crowley and aziraphale both manage to both be slightly too overdressed for everything. the clean-ness (? not simplicity but close) of all of crowley's outfits that mimics the simplicity of the archangels, or at least is very different from the chaos of every other demon's outfit. anyways. they make me sick.

I was writing abt this in the tags of a post from @neil-gaiman but I’m having too many thoughts I need to put them in a post because mister Gaiman sir this is absolutely brilliant and I love it.
Aziraphale is reading a tale of two cities!! and my immediate thought was “ok what does this mean” because I love the little Easter eggs and symbolism artists put in. first thought was of course two cities = heaven and hell which is just objectively fucking hilarious thank you Mr Gaiman. It was the best of times it was the worst of times it was the end times?????
I’m not the most familiar with the novel but I know it deals in part with the French Revolution/the bastille which is also very funny re: the episode 3 cold open. Again not super familiar though so anyone is welcome to shed more light on this and if there’s more there than my sensible chuckle (as I’m sure there is)
BUT I looked up the entire first paragraph/sentence to see the rest of it and oh my god.
“…it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness…”
“…we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way…”
“…in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.”
Charles Dickens does Good Omens. I’m losing my mind this is so hilariously spot on to the themes of Good Omens, of COURSE the poster features Aziraphale reading it. I LOVE this. He even seems to be near the very beginning, with a page near the very beginning marked???
I love tiny little details like this that are so easily missed but clearly had so much thought put into them by the creator. Kudos to Neil Gaiman and anyone involved with creating the poster who added this lovely little detail. I’m sure I’m not the first to catch onto this but just noticed it and it made me incredibly happy!!!! Of course I’ll have to go back and scour the rest of the poster later for more I can’t wait- already seeing Catch-22 on the bookshelf too oh my GOD I can’t even dive into picking apart all that means right now. Treasure island and pride and prejudice- oh my GOD pride and prejudice!!! If that isn’t Aziraphale and Crowley to a T!!!!! (not familiar w treasure island someone please feel free to take that and run with it.) Also why is there a camera what’s that saying hm. And are all 3 hands (hour minute second) on the clock pointing to 6 because that’s fucking HILARIOUS
@neil-gaiman if you happen upon this post just know you and any other artists involved made my symbolism-loving heart very happy with this poster!! brb gotta go ponder all of the Aziraphale/Crowley-Elizabeth Bennet/Mr. Darcy parallels

every time fabian takes off his eyepatch something inside me dies a little. because then i’m forced to remember that at the end of freshman year, this beautiful boy, this child, got his face slashed open and his eye gouged out when he was sixteen years old, in his own home, and he didn’t stop, didn’t hesitate, didn’t mull over that fact for a moment before charging into another battle, because his friends needed him.

It all fits together so well! The Nothing cliffhanger at the end of Ren's s8, the similar looking material growing in his pumpkin shop just before Bdubs snatched him for the coronation, and now that stuff appears to be all over his diamonds from what we see of it in Scar's episode, and his eyes are as green as his crown and the Royal Emeralds he tried to use as a currency to replace diamonds and also get himself more diamonds... (not as much of a Thing as Derpcoin was but still)
Also, the coronation took place under the Tree of Whimsy, which Bdubs earlier established as having grown from a seed he planted after finding it hidden deep underground with a legend that said it must never see sunlight again... So evil plants are possibly involved maybe.
Like, even if they don't ever say it and just have some vague thing about Ren's greed, it fits so well with Jeff, especially if it really does turn out to be a new form of the Nothing virus!
MY GOODNESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSVDI9B
MY GOODNESS. THAT IS SO. THAT IS VERY.
emeralds are a very jeff thing too, and.. jeff controlling bdubs thing particularly. in CE and EF jeffs text or eyes are emeralds a lot, and in the behind the scenes of CE1 video where Pooka explains that every block has a meaning, he said emeralds specifically represent that unnatural greed and persuasion, "too perfect" (8:42-11:24)
(10:14) "When it came to the persuasion of BdoubleO (jeff taking his form) I did choose to use emerald blocks, because it needed to have a persuasion feel to it. It was still fabricated, but it was just a little bit more... 'hey, you definitely want to join us...' type feel to it."
