I did know we could ask about your OCs! I would love to know more about Gawtin 🥺🥺🥺 is there any headcanons or backstory you can share that won’t come up in one shots 👀

Did people not know this?! Of course anyone can ask about my characters. Actually, I encourage it! Make me write more about them. Make me get up and actually use my brain to figure out their stories.

I already have some information about Gawtin written. I use this wonderful app called Campfire to help keep my stories in order. Specially The Monarch.

Alrighty *cracks knuckles* Buckle up, I've got some history for our loving Yautja.

Her full name is Gawtin Yot Vernt-oilq. She's left handed and prefers to use a crossbow for her main weapon. Though, you don't get to see her fight often since she stays home. But, when hunting for food, she'll bring it out.

Positive Values: Loyalty, self-control, determination, persistence.

Negative Values: meanness, abrasiveness, upfront, unnmercifulness.

Very Confident. Like, how could she not be. This is Gawtin we're talking about.

She's more in the middle for extrovert-ness and introvert-ness. Like, she's not a hermit but won't put herself out. If she's invited to go somewhere, she'll join you. Only leans slightly towards extrovert but still closer to the middle for those two.

She comes in at a whomping five hundred and seventeen pounds without any armor or clothing. It helps when she's 8'8, easily towering over any human she comes into contact with.

As for her tribe/clan, she's part of the War-ak'ox. Don't ask me how to say that because even I don't know. Before I forget, I pronounce her name like Guh-jaun-tin. It is a made up name so, the way you say doesn't matter to me.

We all know she has her current child Qui-oki that you helped slightly through the pregnancy. She's also has sixty-seven children throughout her life. I would probably say about half are still alive. A high number for Yautjas.

Her mother's name is Mother Moaw. She was part of the council of the tribe. Gawtin didn't follow her steps but is still thought as a high member of the tribe due to her mother (who is still alive).

As for her age, she's four hundred and seventy-nine years old. About middle life for a Yautjas life span if they're not killed. She knows you won't grow old with her but she'll have to watch as you wither away. She prefers quality time for a reason, prepared for the day you leave her to join Cetanu. But she'll do everything in her power to increase your life span, even if it's for a day.

That's all the information I have written down for her. I have more about her than the boys combined. If you or anyone has any questions about any of my OCs, please, please shoot a DM. I love talking about them. I also love that you guys enjoy them maybe more than I do!

So she got in touch with the Duchess, who took pity on her. The duchess needed a charity case. The defiant against fate former urchin got actual music lessons and turned into the Heiress, who then entertained the Empress’s court until Mr. Wines purloined her talents for entertainment at its revels

She had a short stint as an adventuress, but after being murdered by monkeys she discovered that she was not clever enough to live that lifestyle

She’s a Bazaarine, still keeps in touch with the Fisher-Kings, has frequent nightmares due to excessive failure, and generally takes the magnanimous route

Well, I always read it the opposite way! The struggle of TPB strikes me as Bluestar becoming disillusioned with the way her altruism, grace, and kindness were constantly backfiring on her.

She helps to depose a tyrant; only for ShadowClan to stand against her when she extends mercy to him.

She sends warriors to fetch WindClan; only for WindClan to become enemies again.

She takes in a blinded war criminal; only for him to stab ThunderClan in the back.

Every punishment she gave Fireheart for disobeying her was too soft that he did it again and again; and the fairness to Tigerclaw that she gave him against Ravenpaw's warning almost ended in her murder.

And in the end, both in TPB and my rewrite, she's cornered in her ferociously won leader's den, with a shadow cast over her by the dark shape of her bloodthirsty rival. It's as if Thistleclaw himself is back from the grave, ready to claw leadership out through her throat.

She buried him, and yet, his horrible ideas won't die.

In my rewrite, it also strikes her that StarClan WANTS Thistlestar, in any form they can. She broke destiny, she sacrificed her children for this, and it wasn't enough. So, her ability to trust is shattered. If StarClan hates her actions, well, she'll give them the tyrant they asked for.

I honestly think that if Astrid’s parent’s had actually died, it’s very likely that she would have snuck off after Dagur and tried to kill him on her own. I can totally see Hiccup going after her and trying to real her in, reminding her that going after Dagur like this, unprepared is a good way to get killed and that they will get their revenge, but right now Berk needs them, and it needs her.

After that, I think that the episode would play out pretty similar, but I don’t think Astrid would leave Berk for several episodes, and I don’t think she’d be completely satisfied until she killed Dagur. Which, if we’re saying that Dagur’s redemption arc played out the same way, I don’t think she’d be able to come around to him fully, even if she learns that he has genuinely changed. I can see all of this culminating in a big emotional outburst that leads to them having a better understanding of each other, but she wouldn’t ever forgive him.

She is nigh unwakeable lol I may have to draw this but just imagine messy curly pink hair and anime drool lmao maybe one of those little sleep bubbles that Kirby gets sometimes. On occasion though, she gets really bad nightmares about her possession and it terrifies her something awful. And if she is around a new person, or in a new environment she REALLY struggles getting comfortable enough to sleep due to the trauma of her possession by Dark Matter. But once trust is established she sleeps hard again lol and yes she does take naps and those are also very deep sleeps when she decides she needs one. She encourages everyone to take a good nap when stressed. Very healing. 💤

I've answered For Good - it's her mother's old girlfriend Ket, who The Emperor uses as his disguise. She was the reason she could go to the library, go to university. She was a good egg indeed.

She's definitely well into double-figures but most of them are not serious at all. Most just kind of fizzle out and so she's on friendly terms with pretty much everybody. There's about four more significant partners (bearing in mind she's in her sixties when the game starts, so that's not many). Drek, her first boyfriend, who was another Deep Gnome that she grew up around who later married her sister-in-law's brother because the clan is small like that, Clane, who was one of the first musicians she studied with and her first love, a halfling who played the lute and ended up dumping her because she was progressing faster than he was and he was jealous (they got over it, but she was pretty heartbroken for a while), Almeida, a half-elf Sunite cleric who she met in Neverwinter and fell very deeply for, though it was more of a one sided muse-type relationship, and Gelrinn, another fellow bard who disappeared one day leaving a note that just said "sorry, I can't."

Future: Is there anyone your OC is looking forward to meeting or to seeing again? Who? What might that meeting or reunion look like?

She's always happy to see Volo and Rolan particularly, and invites them to Waterdeep far too often for Gale's liking as they're terrible guests. Rolan is a fusspot, and Volo keeps them up too late and always drinks too much with Glim and leaves before he has to deal with the consequences. She also keeps a close eye on Mol, and is always trying to intervene to get her on the straight and narrow just a little bit. She fails every time.

Siren cannot survive out of the sea-- but the thing she loves the most is the sky. Creatures that can fly. The wind. She wants nothing more than to be able to fly herself. She'll never be fully happy because if she's out of water for too long, it will kill her -- and all she wants is to soar. Soaaaar.

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

In later scenes of Red Sky, Siren hangs out under the docks and sings to comfort the Troupe members who live near her seas. Her voice carries, so people can hear it in pretty far inland. The nearby villagers used to sit on the beach and listen to her, too. She likes lullabies.

🌟 GLOWING STAR - what do they think about when they look at the night sky? is there someone they want to star gaze with?

Anything to do with the sky enthralls Siren but she loves the stars and the moon. She likes to dream about what it would be like to fly and be 'free' -- to go anywhere she wants and not be trapped within the water.

And she wants to do it with a grown up version of Broken Vessel (hi, OC x Canon ship!)

☄️ COMET - what do people assume about them? are they right?

Most people assume Siren is tall / big because of how her voice carries and how far it stretches inland. She is not. She's barely the size of BV in the game. She's tiny.

Those who do know that she's small probably are surprised to learn that she's also highly carnivorous, lol

is noelani based on anyone?

She's based on several characters primarily Disney!Esmeralda, Tintin, and Aisha from winx. Esmeralda for her graceful and feisty demeanor, Tintin for being a reporter and Aisha for general power type and aesthetics. She's also based on mermaid lore; and Emerald Coast itself as that is her home and her colors reflect that. I also imagine her to be a homage to stars like Aaliyah, Brandy and Lauryn Hill who were growing very popular around Adventure's release.

In terms of gameplay she is a "prototype" of Shadow's skating mechanic. A hypothetical scenario of SEGA experimenting with ice skates upgrade Lani receives in Ice Cap, and fully implementing it in the sequel. Pretty similar to Gamma's gameplay being retooled for Tails and Eggman's stages in SA2.

"i don't wanna have to tell the whole story AGAIN, so here's the short version: i heard the ice-cream truck going by. i forgot i was on the second story of the house. i jumped out of the window. i went to the hospital with a broken leg and a few fractured ribs. but i got my ice-cream, so it was, like, totally worth it."

Cascade Locke was born on January 18th, 2532, to a well-off family residing on Reach. She had one older brother, Owen, whom was about 6 years older than her. The family lived normally up until a few years later, when the Locke parents suddenly disappeared. After their disappearance was noted by authorities, Owen and Cas suddenly found themselves alone with no family to go to. Owen was 10. Cas was 3.

Fearing that they might get separated in an orphanage, Owen took his baby sibling and left before anyone could take them away. He left the city with Cas on his back, promising her that he’d take care of her.

For the next 12 years, the Locke siblings lived on their own, in the streets of Reavian cities that Owen never let them reside in for too long. They even hopped around some kivas and did farmwork there for some time, before moving on again.

Eventually, Owen decides they have enough money to rent an apartment (or, the equivalent of an apartment in the 2540s) and they find one nice enough in New Alexandria (or wherever Club Errera is. I assume New Alexandria but I could be wrong, I haven’t played Fall of Reach yet). Owen picks up odd jobs in his attempt to provide for himself and Cas. Cas, meanwhile, goes about doing burglaries and robberies (both, because she’s like, super-talented) to rake in extra cash. Owen’s mostly okay with it—it’s sort of a necessity in their situation, right?—but he didn’t exactly approve of it. He tolerated it more than anything.

One night when Owen actually had some extra cash, after rent and food was covered for the month, he went out to a local nightclub, Errera. He was 22-years-old and practically a single parent to his 15-year-old sibling. He needed some him-time.

When he got back, he was blabbering all about this newfound beauty he had met. Long story short, that was, of course, Carolina (not yet Carolina, however—she is known as, as of this time, Carmen Church), and Cas, being the ever-dutiful sibling, decided to check to see who this woman Owen was falling for now. And by that, Cas spies on Carmen, follows her back to her house (which she lives in with her father and younger cousin, Richard), and breaks in. Carmen catches her, but instead of calling the police, Carmen makes the 15-year-old put the things back, and even tells Cas that she is impressed on Cas’ sneaking skills. Suspicious but hopeful, Cas decides this Caramel lady wasn’t so bad.

The Church cousins and Locke siblings all become acquainted and friendly, and spend a good 2 years together before Carmen announces that her father, Dr. Church, was launching a military space program, and she was to be a part of it. Owen, Cas, and Richard are all sad, but try to cover it up and have a good time on Reach before she has to leave and Richard, who is 15, gets sent to a boarding school.

The day comes where all three Churches leave, leaving Owen and Cas on their own again. It is barely 2 months later when Owen enlists, and is later accepted into the Project Freelancer program and taking on the alias Agent New York.

Cas had never been alone before, not in her entire life. She had always had her older brother at her side, and now he was gone, along with the only 2 friends she had ever made and kept. So what does any other kid do? On her 18th birthday, she enlists into the military, being deployed a few days later.

Less than 2 weeks later, she is assigned to a training camp that was associated with Project Freelancer. Whether it be coincidence or on purpose, she didn’t care—Cas just wanted to see her brother and Carmen again. (Now, you might be thinking—why hadn’t Cas waited for Simmons to come back from boarding school for Christmas break? Well, she hadn’t been thinking that—she isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. There are also reasons that wouldn’t have worked out, but I’m not going to spoil it.)

To her luck (or, what she thought was luck—she thought of herself as a fairly lucky person), almost 4 months later, she is recruited into Project Freelancer and given the alias Agent Michigan. She makes new friends, makes a few enemies, gains a whole lot more trauma. It will all eventually be revealed in the first fic in the It’s Who We Are series, known as “Worth the Trouble”.
