Everyone Hates Todo Except You

The best part about Todo is that you don’t have to put yandere in front of him because his normal behavior already screams delusional and obsessive.   You cannot convince me that he doesn’t sniff all your things as soon as you’re not looking.  He’s just so intense.  I love this man, need to catch up on jjk.

At the Kyoto branch, nobody really bothers sticking their nose in Todo’s business.  But when there’s an enormous mound of trash bags outside his room that just keeps getting bigger, concerning glances and eyebrow raises no longer cut it.  Normally his antics earn a side eye or two, but lately it’s been a little much, even for him.  At the breakfast table the next day, the girls decide to draw straws to see who has to tell him to move his shit.

“It’s not fair!  Why do I have to do it?”  Miwa groans, cursing her bad luck for the thousandth time.  

“It is fair, you just happened to draw the short straw now go deal with it!  We'll back you up.”  Mai grins, knowing full well she rigged it.

Kasumi Miwa would rather be doing literally anything else at this moment.  She timidly knocks on the door, and says, “Todo?  Could you move all this stuff please?  You’re starting to block the hallway.”

“Yeah I’ll get to it whenever I get the rest of this junk cleaned up.  Don’t worry there’s no food waste so there shouldn’t be any smell.”

“B-but Todo…. It's been almost a week now…”  The only response was the muted sound of shuffling.

Miwa looks back in defeat at her so-called “back up” as they peek from behind the corner.  Their best bet now is to get one of the boys to convince him.  And if they fail it’s straight to Utahime-sensei.  

Todo looks at his room, emptier than it’s ever been.  He knew this was the likeliest outcome.  Takada-chan was a beloved idol, and even if she liked him back (which he thought she might have at some point) there was no way she could be with him.  He knew, but it doesn't mean it hurt any less.  There were years of carefully collected merch, thousands of dollars being stuffed into trash bags to be thrown away.  But instead of the despair he carefully denied for years, he didn’t feel any loss throwing away all the autographed posters and pictures.  No, he had something much better now, someone who could actually be with him in this wretched, boring world.  He had his wonderful, gorgeous, beautiful, perfect in every way girlfriend.  And while you weren’t aware that you were destined to be with him yet, he would make sure you’d know soon.  As soon as he finished purging his space of Takada-chan (it wouldn’t do to have pictures of an old flame) he’d confess.  

A few days later he was tying up the last trash bag, ready to enact his plan.  He asked you to meet him under the largest tree in the forest on the edge of the training field.  Several hypothetical scenarios floated through his mind, and he focused on the one where you’d enthusiastically said you loved him back and then he married you and had many children.  As he neared the confession site, Todo felt yet another arrow go through his heart as you came into view.  I’ll never get tired of seeing her.

“Todo, is everything okay?  What’s up?”  A shiver ran down Todo’s spine, goosebumps rising.  God, even your voice was perfect.

“I love you.  Promise me, y/n.  That we’ll spend the rest of our lives together.”  He got down on one knee like a proposal, looking up at you like a devout follower.

“Todo… I don’t know about the rest of our lives but why don’t we start with a date?  I like you too.”  While you were a bit taken aback by his forwardness, you brush it off as Todo being Todo.  You never disliked his honesty and unabashedness.

“My girlfriend!! I knew you felt the same!”  A single tear ran down Todo’s face.   

Back to the dorms, it wasn’t long before everyone found out and congregated at your room to badger you with questions.  

“Ugh that gorilla?  You guys are dating now?”  Nishimiya asked, firmly believing Todo to be an improper and inadequate boyfriend.  

“I thought he only had eyes for that idol Takado or whatever,” Miwa chimes.

“It’s Takada,” Mai corrects, not able to make eye contact with Nishimiya’s suspicious glance in her direction. 

“We’re dating now!  He just asked me out, and he’s really good to me.” you reply, thinking of how Todo insisted on carrying you back to the dorms, gently setting you down before running off saying he needed to ‘prepare’.  

“You can do way better than Todo, trust us.” The girls all nod in agreement.  However, Todo is outside your room balancing a tray of perfectly cooked lunch and a cold pitcher of water.  

“What are you guys talking about?”  he knows already, but wants to hear them say it to his face.  

“How y/n is too good for the likes of you.”  Mai minces no words for Todo.  With the uncomfortable tension rising, the Kyoto girls hastily make an exit.  

“My love, I made lunch for us.  I know I am not handsome, or come from wealth and a good sorcerer family like some of our classmates.  But I will be devoted.  I will never stray from you, I’d die if you asked me to.”  he says, as he sets the meal on your small desk, pulling out utensils and napkins.  His normal confidence seems to waver a bit, and it seems that not even Todo is immune to worrying about what other people think of him.  

“Todo, don’t worry about what they say and please don’t say you’ll die for me.  I like you a lot, I wouldn’t have accepted your confession if I didn’t.  I also think you’re quite handsome.”  

“You love me back?”  he whispers, kneeling at the edge of your bed, looking up at you.  While it’s a bit too early to tell, Todo’s hopeful, reverent look has you obliging him. 

“I do love you back.”  He embraces you, and you can hear his heartbeat in his bare chest.  It feels good to be loved so wholeheartedly, and you’ll give him all the love you have to repay him.

Recently I reflected on why I am such a hardcore Pokeshipper and didn't fall into amourshipping.

Honestly, I like XY and I like Serena. She is a nice character and her feelings are relatable in many ways. It doesn't even bother me that she got Ash's first real kiss. Not everyone's first kiss is with their soulmate/future person. Did Ash like her back? I don't know. He let her leave without saying anything to her. Then he went home and there were baby's breath flowers on screen as he returned home? People say that baby's breath flowers mean everlasting love so that means he has everlasting love for Serena? After one series? After one kiss? No. There are dozens of flowers that mean everlasting love/romantic love. There are also other flowers that mean 'innocence' as the writers claim it meant. The writers did not have to choose baby's breath which is synonymous with Misty's Japanese name, Kasumi, but they did! They know how to work symbolism. It was deliberate.

Now you can call it character development or whatever, but Ash became the experienced trainer when Misty left which watered down some of his rougher character flaws that made him interesting. Hoenn Ash and onward was smoothed around the edges. He was flawed yet by the end of each episode he was the perfect hero again. Serena "fell in love" with this new ideal Ash while Misty fell for his raw, original portrayal. To me this made pokeshipping feel real for both characters. There is also the little fact that Misty is the only person of whom he was ever outwardly jealous. So when Misty came back in Seaside Battle it was fascinating to see him revert back to OS Ash who automatically regained his personality around her. He was annoying, smug, and cocky, but that's alright because Misty was hot headed and loud right back. AND PIKACHU. I believe Pikachu represents Ash's true feelings. Pikachu sees through Ash's facade and straight up disobeys for his love of Pikachupi. There was no choice to be made. Misty belongs with them and Pikachu knows it.

I think the biggest sway though is just how similar the two characters are because opposites may attract, but similarities are the foundations of a successful relationship. All of the screenshots of them making the same damn faces and gestures in Seaside Battle are unbearably adorable. You also better believe that Ash and Misty would be the kind of couple that would settle matters with a battle. Who's going shopping? Battle. Who takes out the trash? Battle. Who feeds the Pokemon? Battle. Whoever first said that Pokemon battling is their love language isn't wrong.

After Seaside Battle, I just can't see a future where Ash and Misty aren't together.

And now I need to channel this Pokeshipping excitement into my fanfics.

might i add, because of the unusual action of the youngest sibling, the sakuma family (aside from rei and ritsu) sees them like an alien. reader is secretly hurt and sad because of this, since theyre being treated like an outsider. though they dont particularly show it, but rei and ritsu knows and continues to stick by their side.

What it feels like being the Sakuma's youngest sibling !

Another Sakuma sibling… you are so much different from your older brothers! You were talkative and always got along with everyone and even their unit mates and friends~ Lucky!

There are times where you randomly appear on either Ritsu's or Rei's practices but they don't mind, really, they want your company anyways and it's good to see you hanging out and deciding to watch them do their practice because it boosts their morale. (They want to show off in front of their sibling)

Ritsu turns you into his pillow when you decide to visit him one time saying, “I can't find Maa-kun anywhere, but you'll do. ♪” Izumi would scold Ritsu for slacking off the practice again, and… you as well. Since you appeared, Izumi would scold you for interrupting their practice and you could've just visited them when it's their break time, so Izumi told you their schedule so the next time you'll arrive is at their breaks. (Which you didn't follow)

You and Leo would be great buddies! Seriously, Izumi acts like a mother to the both of you since you two are talking about aliens and how Leo got abducted by aliens. Leo would get mad at Izumi whenever he asks you to leave, “Hey Sena! Don't make her leave!" Izumi would just sigh in disappointment because it would mean their practice will be cancelled.

Arashi will be your best friend as well! She would gladly help you out if you have troubles, or advice that you needed and if you needed someone to let out your problems and feelings whenever your brothers are busy~ (I love her sm)

Tsukasa… Well, at first, he adores you! If you like sweets, the two of you will go to various candy/cakes/sweet shops and again, you'll get scolded by Izumi alongside Tsukasa. If you're not a fan of sweets, Tsukasa completely understands it! But that doesn't change the fact that he will at least try to make you like sweets.

Now for Rei! Everytime you visit your oldest brother, he doesn't mind it when you barge into the rehearsal room, “Kukuku, how did my precious youngest sibling find me~?” He would joke about it but he is still happy you decided to visit him!

Now if you're the same age as Ritsu but maybe a year or 2 younger?? Kaoru would try to hit on you, honestly. Rei wouldn't like it and he doesn't want his youngest sibling to be tainted by Kaoru! Adonis always teaches you about some knowledge of his hometown outside Japan and if he ever got the chance, he would make you taste one of specialties! As for Koga, he's pretty surprised that someone like Rei who has a pretty mysterious personality is so different from him! He would be confused, but in the end, he would be on good terms with you. :3

There are times when you're out in the sun for too long, or tiring yourself, you would collapse. You inherited the illness as well, and Leo would get worried and will have a mental crisis trying to bring you to a shaded area as much as possible. And a few seconds later, you would be back to normal! ..just avoid staying in the sun for too long.

Due to you being pretty much different from the Sakuma's, your family members sees you as an outcast and disgrace because of how outgoing you are. You can't help but feel sad and disappointed at their words. (You would rant at Arashi about this and she feels bad for you!) But you also can't help wondering what if your older brothers think the same as them? You're worried that they're just faking their personalities to go along with yours.

Now, Rei and Ritsu don't really know the problems you're going through, but somehow when one of the Sakuma member told how “disgraceful” and “a shame to the family”, their blood boils, how can they call you with those words?! The two of them would comfort you and Ritsu would most probably hug while Rei pats your back, saying comforting words.

You don't deserve to be called like that after all, there's different types of people, they would encourage you to keep doing what you like since that's your own way and they would support you like a good brother they are!

Summary:

In her everyday life, Yuuna Yuuki is a hero. As proof, she is in her middle school's Hero Club, where she does her best to help others and bring a smile to everyone's face.

But Yuuna, always up to any task, is about to become an even bigger hero. Mysterious destructive forces called Vertexes begin threatening the world she loves, and the Hero Club is called upon by a strange phone app to save it. Along with her best friend Mimori Tougou, as well as sisters Fuu and Itsuki Inubouzaki, they must transform into magical girls in order to battle the Vertexes.

In between studying and putting on shows for kids, Yuuna and the Hero Club must fight for the very existence of their world and face the harsh truths behind their own powers, all the while discovering what it truly means to be a hero.

Propaganda:

I adored this show from the moment I watched it because throughout it all, it’s hopeful. These girls go through a lot. A LOT. A lot of horrible, horrible things, and yet they bounce back. These girls bounce back pretty much every single time and do anything to help their friends do the same. To me, that is insanely inspiring.

The cast of characters here are also insanely compelling. They feel like actual, real friends—doing things together, hanging out, comforting each other and laughing with them all the same. This point I feel helps that sense of hope this show has absolutely.

The character designs in general too are absolutely breathtaking, and are nothing like I’ve ever seen from any other magical girl anime. Also, one last thing: this show’s soundtrack is done by MONACA. MONACA is also known for doing the first two NieR games. Take that what you will :)

Summary:

During recess, Olivia, a foreign transfer student who doesn’t know English, plays a game of “look-the-other-way” with Hanako Honda, a loudmouthed airhead. Their rowdy behavior spurs the ire of Kasumi Nomura, a deadpan loner constantly teased by her older sister for her tendency to lose games.

Not willing to compete, Kasumi declines Olivia’s offer to join the fun, but eventually gets involved anyway and dispenses her own brand of mischief. Soon, a strange friendship blossoms between the peculiar trio, and they decide to form the “Pastime Club,” where they are free to resume their daily hijinks.

It’s really funny and hilarious and kind of hard to pin down the demographic and who they were trying to get to watch the show because the girls uniforms are ugly, they make ugly faces and funny noises, and one of the main characters has a strong fear/disgust of men. I live and then I had a really fun time watching it because it’s so out of pocket with the stuff they do.

Trigger Warnings: Gender Identity/Sexuality Discrimination.

One character is implied to be a trans girl and is called out for it by the main characters in a way that suggests they are uncomfortable with it. Her boyfriend is okay with it, though.

//First off, I really like the cast. You can probably tell my favorite character is Marin, but I like Ayumu, Aruma, Maiko, Kego, and really everyone has their merits ^^

//I have to admit, though, that I take issue with a lot of aspects of the story itself. Not quite to the same extreme as SDRA2, as I don't think it completely derails its own plot, but there are still sticking points to me, some of them pretty heavy given the subject matter of the game:

I appreciate that they changed the reactions to Ayumu being a cross-dresser away from the grotesquely transphobic attitudes in the original Japanese version, but I'm not fond of the implication that Ayumu became an enby because of Emi's abuse. Even if it wasn't the intent, that's how it comes across.

Everything that happened with Maiko and Saiji is textbook fridging. It doesn't really do anything for the story beyond artificially setting up his death and lots of drama.

I don't like that they can talk to the dead. Kasumi having the ability to channel spirits is supposed to be unpleasant for there and that's why it doesn't happen often, but if they can just pull ghosts back to get information, that really undermines a lot of the deaths in a way the story never really recovers from. Chapter 1 literally ends with Maiko coming back, explaining the misunderstanding that got her killed, and hugging everybody. Come on.

The talent-switching machine Chapter 3 feels like it completely breaks the motivations of the villains just by existing.

The multi-kill for Seishi, very Murder on the Orient Express, where it turns out Marin is the one who accidentally killed him feels...I dunno, I think it's why I prefer DT's idea for the Blackened. Having the Blackened by the one who delivered the fatal blow feels far too easy to exploit for emotional manipulation.

Everything having to do with Narumi.

//Now, I have to say, I like that this game has two masterminds, one motivated by despair and the other by hope. It's pretty unique. My problem mostly has do with the motivation.

//See, Akira's motivation is purely self-centered, wanting revenge on Kego for the death of his grandmother, Sumiko Kamiya, the Former Ultimate Ghostwriter. A woman who became a despair during The Tragedy and, as a result, was swayed to that side himself.

//In contrast, Narumi is the daughter of Taizo Osone, the former Ultimate Chef, and is the middle child of a huge number of siblings. The two of them were very close, Taizo helped her hone her own talent, and he was an active member of the Rights For Ultimates (RFU) movement. This was a group that sought to promote equal rights against people who were blaming them for the Tragedy.

//And it was during one such RFU protest that a riot broke out and Taizo was gunned down by police. An event that broke Narumi's heart and drove her to seek revenge against the system that had caused all of this. That's how she wound up crossing paths with Akira.

//The problem here is that, in her quest to seek justice for her father, Narumi becomes another example of the "oppressed minority who goes too far" cliche. Instead of targeting the system that hurts people like her, she targets other Ultimates and puts them in a killing game, thinking that by causing another Tragedy, she and Akira can become the new heroes and getting people to love Ultimates like they did back in the day.

//Now, of course, Akira's actual goal is just to destroy society as revenge for Sumiko's death and to spread despair once again. But because he dies in Chapter 2, that ultimately means most of the blame falls onto Narumi's shoulders. And what happens to her by the end?

//She gets sentenced to life in prison, with Ayumu promising to finish what she started. This sounds nice and all, but coming at the end of the story, it feels more like an empty platitude. How will Ayumu dismantle this oppressive system? How will equal rights for Ultimates be earned? How will any of this get solved?

//No idea! That's just how the story ends!

//I don't like this kind of storytelling because it often perpetuates negative and dangerous stereotypes, and even if the villain is functionally right, their actions within the narrative are effectively meant to get us to dismiss those ideals for change in favor of the status quo.

//The fact that Narumi is dark-skinned really doesn't help.

//RWBY, the MCU, Shadowrun, even The Last Airbender suffered from this in the episode where they introduced Bloodbending. I know a lot of people like that episode, but I really don't care for it. It takes a victim of oppression by an imperialist society, held captive and dehumanized for years, and turns her into an unrepentant villain that tortures random civilians and revels in killing. And then when she's defeated, she's returned to that same oppressive system as if that's meant to be justice.

//The irony is that, had Akira stuck around, all of this would've been easily solved. Make HIM the guy who hijacked Narumi's good intentions, lied to her, tricked her and pushed her too far. She still has a hand in all this without making her out to be another example of this cliche, and instead of being sent to rot in prison, she tries to actually change things for the better.

//Hell, you can include Seishi in that as well. Rather than just a hitman sent to kill Ayumu, have him showcase how much he's suffered under this oppressive system and how much he wants to be free of it too. You can still have the talent-switching machine, maybe as a promise for anyone who kills, and Seishi says Ayumu can escape with him and both of them will be free of their respective talents they hate.

//Yes, I understand this is all just an outline of how the story would've gone and the final product might've been different, but the greater-scope villains here should be the ones orchestrating the system that hurts people, not people trying to take a stand against the system and change it or bring it down.

//I don't think Rebirth is bad at all, it just suffers from a lot of the flaws and misunderstandings that come with trying to write nuanced stories about prejudice. Making the oppressed just as bad as the oppressor is not deep or complex storytelling when it's designed to get us to see challenging the status quo as bad.

Reni: Amazing. There is no way I would have ever come up with those.

Yukio: With our current group, it's exciting to think about what kinds of productions I can challenge and what types of roles I can have everyone play.

Reni: You have already done that once for “Traces of a Dream”, isn’t that right?

Yukio: That was Hanasaka Jii-san’s production, not mine, remember? With our current group, we can even attempt productions that we couldn’t in the past—I’d wager we could even pull off a play that doesn’t have a single line of dialogue in it.

Reni: …Don’t spout your nonsense like usual.

Yukio: Come to think of it, there was a time we went to watch a play together and we were both moved by a scene that didn’t have any dialogue.

Reni: You were clearly influenced after that. We clashed during our rehearsals with each and every line you tried to cut from Hakkaku-san’s scripts.

Yukio: Ahh… yeah, that happened.

Reni: Thinking about it now, we stopped seeing eye-to-eye on many things starting around that time.

Yukio: … Reni. About back then, I—.

Reni: There is no need to say it. I won’t forgive you if you apologize.

Yukio: …I see. I suppose not.

Syu: G’job today.

Yuzo: Good job.

Kasumi: All of us got together faster than expected.

Syu: I get that it’s supposed to be “Fully Ripe” for “Full Bloom”, but somethin’ about it doesn’t fit right.

Yuzo: It sounds like a punchline.

Kasumi: What if we use alphabet letters when we write it, like “KANJUKU Company”?

Zen: No one’s gonna get it at a glance.

Love Live Nijigasaki School Idol Club Season 1 Watchthrough: Episode 2-3

#2: "Cutest♡Girl"

kasumi is channeling the late nico and we are here for it

yes, we got our opening and it is good

i love how much animation there is in nijigasaki, even for the small moments there's a lot more character acting and smears

we got kasumi's performance in this episode, and it's of course totally cute. love how stylistic they are and reflective of their personalities. that they're framed as music videos make them a lot more fun to watch than just cg models moving around. this makes me FEEL things.

if there was one thing missing from sunshine, it was the brat. yohane was the nico of sunshine, but she wasn't really a brat in that veneer. kasumi is. love how she thought stealing the sign would do anything, and how she has tons of sandwiches to use as bribes whenever

And she realizes in trying to make Ayumu act cuter, that you have to channel your own type of cuteness, you can't make everyone fit your little definition of it. kasumi cute won't be ayumu cute. just like setsuna might be more cool, and then that's what she has to be.

#3: "Shouting Your Love"

i do wish we got a bit more from the other characters here tho and what they thought about the conflict, and while that might become an issue, i'm suspecting they'll just get their episodes later too

Yu (who is happy just being a fan and not an idol herself) is also, by the way, totally charming every single girl here. this is a harem series and she is the protagonist. She out said she loved Setsuna. We are speed running the gay.

i quite like setsuna's whole deal of living a double life, switching between the pragmatic student council president and the more passion-driven school idol. we played around with the idea of this kinda in nico's act and yohane's persona, but we haven't seen a character use their idol persona specifically to feel more free and aloof in their behaviour than they usually feel they can be, so that's cool.

she gets her own little music video as well

Also, I've already praised how nijigasaki is doing things differently, but not entering love live at all? i mean, i thought about that being a solution, but always suspected it'd be too radical for the franchise. glad i'm being proven wrong.

as much as i love sunshine, and i do think it overcame the issue with time, it's biggest issue was always how shackled it was by the original love live series and its characters. nijigasaki is practically completely throwing that away, and it needed to do that to stay fresh.

and with the whole individual music videos instead of group performances, it's good that the series dares to take the leap in that if not aiming for love live would help the girl express their individual ideals of the idols they want to be, then they can just do that instead.

I tried the A3! Ship chart except my brain is always on overdrive so I don't know what's going on. Everything here is under aspec lens so nothing is romantic unless stated otherwise.

Detailed explanation under the cut.

This basically means that they have a label on their relationship but they're alterous. I think BanTsumu are boyfriends and possibly married in the future. To be honest, I don't really care what their labels is but I think they're the type to put a name on their relationship.

Established:

BanTsumu is my ultimate OTP, I just like the peaceful vibes they give. Tsumugi becomes a lot more playful when he's around Banri and Banri is uncharacteristically always tied around Tsumu's little finger. They're polar opposites but they find comfort in each other like how Banri helped calm Tsumugi down with a cup of coffee when he was nervous and how Tsumugi makes Banri feel safe enough to release his worries. As an aspec mf their dynamic feeds my soul!

Romantic:

1. SakyoIzu: they're not really my top choice but if I'm gonna ship them, I think they would be romantic.

2. TaiYuki: Taichi definitely has the fattest crush on Yuki and I think once he realizes it, he's gonna want something more out of it.

3. TsumuHaru: Tsumugi and Haruto just scratch an itch in my head😔 I think they're the type of couple who tease each other endlessly, act like they're done with each other's antics, and they constantly bicker but at the end of the day, they understand each other most.

OTP:

1. ChikaIzu: MY ALTEROUS BELLS 🫶 RING SO HARD FOR THESE TWO. They are family and they would do anything for each other. They're not shy to reach out when the other needs help, they make promises with each other, they have a playful dynamic, they bond with each other even in the most mundane settings... MY BRAIN JUST HURTS WHEN I THINK OF THEM because I want what they have!!!

2. AzuTasu: Tasuku is just so down bad for Azuma, man. LIKE WHAT EVEN IS THE ENTIRETY OF NOCTURNALITY? Not only that, Tasuku is DENSE but for some reason, he's always one step ahead of comforting Azuma. Also, why does he call everyone by their last name EXCEPT AZUMA 😭 LIKE WHAT THE HELL? Don't even get me started with Azuma's semi playful flirting and Tasuku just responds in the most sincere way THEN AZU GETS ALL FLUSTERED? Whenever these two interact, I just want someone to punch me.

3. HisoIta: I saw this ship one day, thought about it for 10 minutes, and hopped in the ship. I love the idea of spoiler x spoiled. Itaru is SO good at spoiling people and Hisoka is like a cat that needs to be spoiled rotten. Hisoka is also the type of person who will let you do your thing but he'll try to help you in his own terms when he feels like you need help. I like that cause I think Itaru likes his own space and pace so Hisoka is perfect for that!!

4. ME AND KASUMI : look, I know her wife died and I'm sorry but like... If the triplets need a stepmom just hook me up.

Like:

1. JuTen: I just love the mutual respect they have for each other 🛐

2. HisoSaku: TWO ANGELS TOGETHER IS NEVER THE WRONG MOVE!!! Hisoka has this vibe that he's always carrying something heavy and I think whenever he's around Sakuya, he relaxes and he likes watching over how pure Sakuya is about everything. I think if Sakuya asks Hisoka for a favor, he would skip his sleep just to fulfill it.

3. BanSaku: THESE TWO JUST.... *SQUISH* I have no words except AHHHHHHH KEEP LOOKING OUT FOR EACH OTHER!!!

4. TenSaku: Tenma's crush on Sakuya in Act 1 never died on me. Sakuya's acting was acknowledged to not be the best at that time but he just saw how pure and passionate Sakuya is for acting so he felt inspired. HE TALKED TO HIM TO RESPECTFULLY TOO LIKE 🙉🙉 Y'all make me crazy.

5. CitoTsuzu: Citron please keep looking after our playwright boy. He may complain all the time but he looks up to you so much and I know you adore him for all he is.

Poly:

1. Fuyupoly: Fuyu is so unserious 💀 I know they're supposed to be the mature group but I swear I was never fully sold on that idea. I think they'd all live together with their shenanigans until they die.

2. CitoIzuChika: This is kinda complicated but like Citron and Izumi are bros, super tight bros, they always go out together and hang out— everyone is convinced they are together. Chikage and Izumi are the same but their dynamic is more serious than the crackhead energy CitoIzu gives. At one point, they just started going on dates together and now they have this giant queerplatonic poly/polybromantic thing going on.

I do not know how my brain cooked this up so please don't ask.

1. MukuYuki: MY BABIES 🫶 I want them to be there for each other forever

anyway i DO. i DO. i think my Biggest theory at this point is that igor + the velvet room are doing the classic "mentor who the protag assumes is good but is the twist big bad guy at the end who has to be defeated through the power he himself taught him" thing. that's my big conjecture i think at this point it would be wild to assume that the velvet room is just a skinned game mechanic with no plot relevance. if it is ill be mildly distressed.

kasumi i LOVE kasumi. shes so cute im obsessed with her. and also mildly concerned because i also thought akechi was a nice chill guy who didn't raise any red flags. and well ummm.

SAME GOES FOR MARUKI, ACTUALLY. i instinctively distrust him because i also distrust any given school therapist but like... he seems nice. he also makes me pause & hesitate a sec with all the shit about fixing someone's heart, being able to physically interface with that mental/emotional aspect. maybe he's just a chill guy with some interesting research!!!!! nevertheless!!! he's also giving me vaguely similar to akechi 'nice unassuming guy who sometimes has the feel that he Knows Too Much. although it would be insane if there was Another person who knew about the metaverse at shujin.

(DISCLAIMER: you cannot get mad at me for my opinion on people who have not showed up yet okay. i have been avoiding spoilers and i know nothing about them so i just know what has happened IN THE GAME SO FAR. also very long post i went off about some people sorry about that)

1. ANN TAKAMAKI - MY GIRL OF ALL TIME. what can i say, i love myself a silly blonde girl. i think my favorite thing about ann is how she’s portrayed as both strong and emotional - she is consistently shown to be resilient, capable, and tough, but she also deals with her emotions in the same way that a teenage girl in her position would. it makes me happy to see that bc not a lot of characters get that right and i hate seeing emotional girls always being the pathetic ones. also i know she’s not canonically sapphic but she does feel very deliberately sapphic to me if that makes sense. having it be canon would be nice, but in a way, the fact that her and shiho have a very sapphic relationship without it being called that reflects what being young and confused about sexuality is like. it’s very common among teenage lesbians, and i know it probably wasn’t the devs’ intention to accurately portray sexuality confusion, but they did a good job of it on accident regardless. anyways i love and adore ann i am hugging her hugging her hugging her and pressing her lips to shiho's as if they're barbies

2. haru okumura - OKAY LOOK. LOOK. i know she hasn't shown up... i know she hasn't said anything besides that one time i saw her in the hallway and she talked about plants to a random teacher for 10 seconds... I KNOW BUT BUT SHE'S SO SKRUNKLY LOOK AT HER. she is so soft looking so silly looking i want to hug her so much. i am reserving this second place spot for her, if it turns out i don't like her as much as i thought then that's fine but nobody knows Girl Of All Time Vibes better than me and she has them

3. yusuke kitagawa - YUSUKE MY BEST FRIEND YUSUKE. I LOVE AND ADORE HIM SOSOSOSOSOSO MUCH... i honestly didn't expect to like yusuke when he first showed up but as soon as he spoke i was like. oh. Oh This Guy. LIKE HE'S SO SILLY he makes me giggle with how he's just so like. WEIRD. but i genuinely don't see how people find him creepy - the fact that he doesn't have any harmful intentions is very clear and he's just a guy who fumbles every social interaction he's ever in and i want to be his best friend for it I LOVE HIM.

4. ryuji sakamoto - I LOVE RYUJI HE'S SUCH A GUY TO ME i love him being best friends with ann and i love his stupid comments he is so funny fr

5. morgana - EVERYONE'S SO MEAN TO MY SILLY KITTY GUY... usually mascot characters like him are super annoying but i fuckin LOVE morgana he's so funny and adorable. i wanna cuddle him THE KITTY EVER

6. kasumi yoshizawa - she's really cute and sweet! the fact that i don't have anything besides that to say about her is why she isn't higher on the list lol

7. akira kurusu - he's a Guy. i like him as a protag, he has dialogue options that don't make me wanna rip my hair out and he had the emotional intelligence to comfort ann without making me want to be like "YOU'RE FUMBLING THIS FR SHUT UP STOP TALKING LET ME TALK TO HER" so i like him. however he's just a guy that exists to me

8. futaba sakura - she's cute! but being a woman in stem is like. every girl i know irl is Like That so she doesn't feel very blorbo to me when she's just An Average Girl In My Comp Sci Class, yk? i might be more interested in her when i actually come across her tho

9. goro akechi - i don't care about him at all i want what he has tho (knows sae niijima personally)

10. makoto niijima - SORRY SORRYSORRYSORRY SORRY. i know this is anti-feminist of me and considering she's so well-liked i am sure i will change my mind on this based on later stuff in the game. but MAN. her attitude is absolutely rancid in the pre-second palace scenes........ LIKE i'm not even mad at her for selling out the phantom thieves bc i get that she's been blackmailed but she said something to akira about how she "didn't know if ann being a victim of kamoshida was all there was to it" naming ANN SPECIFICALLY and not akira or ryuji and like. 20 Days of Bitesize Bakugou

One.

"Are you alright?" Shouto asks worriedly. "The villagers said you'd brought back a... companion."

"Yes, it's my lord husband," Izuku happily introduces the massive overgrown wolf next to him. "I'm married now."

"I see," he says, not seeing it at all as the wolf sneers at him.

Two.

"The person coming to pick you up today—" her teacher prompts.

"Papa's boyfriend," Kasumi answers just as a familiar figure approaches them. "Sperm donor," she greets.

"Abomination," Katsuki acknowledges back. Neither of them notices the horrified look on the teacher's face.

Three.

"Let's go." Katsuki grabs his hand and tugs him toward the dance floor.

"Wait," Izuku protests. "What about Amaya-san?"

He frowns. "Why the fuck would I care about some girl I don't know when you're right here?!"

But that's the heroine, Izuku doesn't say, your fated partner.

Four.

"There's an empty grave in Chu with your name on it," says Katsuki unprompted.

"Have you paid respect to it yet?" Izuku muses.

"Why should I?" He sneers. "You're not dead. Everyone else can believe whatever but until I see it with my own eyes it means shit."

 Eyes wide. "Oh."

Five.

"Marry me," Katsuki says, heart racing but the words come out of him are firm and insistent. He never wanted anything more than this moment.

"K-Kacchan, that's so sweet and not that I'm saying no," Izuku says, cheeks flushed, "but we only just started dating three days ago."

Six.

"Ugly," Katsuki declares, looking down at the baby in his arms. "Such an ugly, wrinkling thing." His words are sharp, but his eyes are notably warm.

"Like father like son," Izuku teases. "He's yours alright."

"Yea," he murmurs, then he jerks up and glares at the laughing Izuku.

Seven.

"Kacchan, you can't sleep here anymore," Izuku says forlornly. Kacchan just stares at him, all woefully eyes, until he finally caves. "Fine! But only tonight, ok?"

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Kacchan the human glares at them. "I'm not letting that damn dog sleep on our bed!"

Eight.

"Take it out," Katsuki insists, fists clenching at his side.

The doctor frowns. "Bakugou-kun, I advise against this not only because of your young age but this is your third time. I can't keep doing surgery to remove your flowers everytime you fall in love with the same person."

Nine.

"You're doing great," Katsuki assures, letting Izuku grips his fingers forcibly despite knowing the fact that even with a quirk limiter on, Izuku could break his hand easily.

"Bakugou Katsuki," he grits out. "Shut. Up. You're never touching me again after this baby come out!"

Ten.

"We'll get through this," Katsuki assures him. "I'll fight for us."

Izuku is sixteen, nine weeks pregnant, and there's a war going on but in this moment of peace and quiet, his world narrows down to just Katsuki's hand around his belly and the new life is growing inside of him.

Eleven.

Izuku looks up at the giant wolf till their eyes finally meet. Green on red.

"Do I scare you, mortal?" He sneers, revealing a full set of sharp fangs.

Izuku shakes his head and lets himself fall right into the wall of fur in front of him. It's warm, he thinks. He's safe now.

Twelve.

"I'm ready, my lord!" Izuku says as he starts to disrobes. He doesn't know how it'll work between a man and a wolf but he'll surely figure it out.

"We're not going to have sex!" Katsuki hisses, looking absolutely appalled.

"No?" He frowns, trying not to sound disappointed.

Thirteen.

"Finally, we can all sit down and have a family dinner," Mitsuki says as Inko smiles warmly next to her.

Kastuki sneers. "Whatever."

"It's great," Izuku agrees, even as the words sound hallow to his ears and under the table, he feels Katsuki's hand wrap tightly around his own.

Fourteen.

Izuku carefully takes the muzzle off of him. "Do you remember me?" he asks.

The man blinks, dazed and confused but then, "D-deku?" he croaks out, voice unused for so long. "Deku." More sure now.

"Kacchan," he answers, voice shaking with barely held back tears. "You're home."

Fifteen.

"And if the child is quirkless?" Izuku asks, brutally straight to the point. "What would you do?"

Katsuki swallows, hands clenching tight at his side. "They're mine, so I would take good care of them," he asserts.

He smiles wistfully. "Then it's a deal. I'll be your surrogate."

Sixteen.

"That's a fat cat," Katsuki comments.

Izuku hurriedly bends down and scoops Fluffybottom into his arms. "He's not fat," he defends. "He saved me after you'd abandoned me, so don't insult my cat."

Katsuki freezes, hurt flashing across his face even though he has no right to it.

Seventeen.

"Kacchan," he begs, "can we not do this now? My flight is tomorrow."

Katsuki shakes his head. "Deku," he starts, then stops to correct himself. "Izuku," he swallows, "you drive me fucking insane but if I don't get this out now I—" His yearning is written all over his face.

Eighteen.

"I've long have forgiven you," Izuku tells him, but somehow Katsuki doesn't feel assure, "so Bakugou-san, let's not have anything to do with each other from now on. You live our own life and I'll live mine."

The rejection is kinder than he deserves and that what make it worst.

Nineteen.

"I'm not a glorified babysitter," Katsuki hisses. "It isn't part of my job to play bodyguard to some fucking dumb idol."

"Bullshit." Mirko gives him an unimpressed look. "I know you used your vacation hours to attend Deku's 3 days concert last month. You're a Deku stan, brat."

Twenty.

"Happy birthday." He grins, watching Katsuki holds the ultrasound picture dazedly. "We're having girl." Abruptly, he pulls Izuku into his arms. "

But can we return her if she turn out to be annoying?" "Kacchan!" he scolds, thumping his back as Katsuki huffs a laugh in his ear.
