It didn't seem right to skip over episodes I didn't draw recaps for! Things that ran through my head while watching this episode:

--When making this episode, Ufotable had the advantage of knowing what would come later in the manga. While rewatching it today, I had the advantage of knowing what would come later in the anime.

--By that, I mean the judicious use of Nezuko's lines in Tanjiro's dream in "Kamado Nezuko no Uta" *cough which I was just singing again at karaoke a few hours ago so it's even fresher in my brain cough*

--By that, I also mean the imagery of the field of Nichirin-to, wisteria petals, and dawn-like light as Tanjiro contemplates if he were to become a demon, and how he would trust that someone in the Corp would cut his head off for him --It never gets old how the Shabana siblings are a foil to the Kamado siblings, especially because Tanjiro recognizes how close they were and takes it to heart. I love how Gyutaro took a liking to Tanjiro on account of Tanjiro being laughably pathetic, and by merit of both of them being big brothers. That gives them something to relate to which is totally independent of whether they are demons or humans.

--I love that scene with Gyutaro mocking Tanjiro so much; it's one of those scenes that Ufotable really slowed down and dialed up the drama in, while still making every action make sense and count. One of the most tense conversations in the whole anime, and Gyutaro's glee is palpable. I love that all the names he calls Tanjiro are names that he was called when he was human, and while I don't think Gyutaro is conscious of it, it feels like at some level, he's yelling these things at himself because he's angry with himself for having failed to protect Ume.

--Speaking of, I love how Daki is like, "nuh uh, Oniichan, don't you dare make these two our friends, I hate them" and Gyutaro ignores her because she's an annoying little sister. Such siblings. Also, the way she's just casually sitting totally unphased at the top of the building is the biggest mockery, as it rubs him how useless their hard-earned triumph in the previous episode was. I love how much that theme gets stressed in this series--that is what it means to fight demons!

--Kimetsu logic: don't give us any idea what the characters are doing until after they've already done it. Tanjiro wasn't running away, but instead grabbing a kunai and covering its scent? Oh, ok, cool. Zenitsu had another variation on his one technique and he can only use it twice in one fight? Ok, cool. Inosuke can move his organs and resist poison? You know what, okay. Also, a note of voice acting--I love how heroically deep sleeping Zenitsu's voice is (I'm sure that's how the hero of Legend of Zenitsu always speaks), and how Inosuke is clearly Not Okay.

--Uzui can stop his heart? Sure. Alright. I wonder how much of that was voluntary in the middle of a fight with his little Tsuguko on the line, though--perhaps he also went into that state to prevent himself from bleeding out from his arm? But man, he is no-o-o-o-t looking good, that is truly fighting with desperation, however elated he is to have completed his sheet music technique.

--His wives were watching when he was down on the ground and supposedly dead. ;__;

--Ufotable always has such a challenge to make every Breath technique look amazing and they keep raising the bars. Even though a lot of the height of this battle was just being flashy and yelling at each other, they still had to thing about battle mechanics, like what hits they actually manage to get in on each other (Uzui didn't just lose the eye, he took a nasty hit in the abdomen, too!) and the moment Uzui drops one of his swords. Although a lot of the fighting in this episode is slowed down by character thoughts, if you put it all in sequence, it was very, very quick.

--This entire battle, actually, probably did not take very long. The initial blows exchanged between Tanjiro and Daki took a while, but once it got going with Uzui involved, it was very, very fast-paced. Considering people only started to evacuate during the Daki and Tanjiro battle, and most of them were still there during Nezuko's fight, it was probably very lucky if it was vacated by the time this episode started. We don't know how long Tanjiro was out cold, but hopefully that was enough time for the stragglers to get away before Gyutaro's final attack (but Nezuko saves them, yaaay, I also get to enjoy knowing that Nezuko's fire at the end of this episode because Ufotable made that cool choice too!). Anyway, part of the reason I bring up the speed of this battle is because I am still cross at Ufotable for messing up the timeline by placing this arc in very late autumn, which is should had been in summer, thereby making the night short in the first place--and uncomfortably hot even before you add all the flames! (Added bonus: hot and muggy for the boys when they're in kimono and makeup, because that's funny.)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like them! I went for Robb because he's one of my favorites in Game of Thrones.

Warnings: Yandere themes, a couple mentions of death, but not at all graphic.

Across the board, platonic or romantic, Robb is overprotective, clingy, and possessive.

He's a very loyal and naturally protective person. When he loves someone, he's going to do all that he can to make sure that they're safe and cared for.

In a platonic sense, he's going to view you as a little sibling, whether you're blood-related or not. He almost immediately demands you be taken in if you're not. He leaves no room for argument, and considering how stubborn he can be, his parents give in pretty easily.

I can easily also see him calling you his best friend as well as a sibling, which means that he'll want to spend a lot of time with you.

Robb will demand you have the room next to him so that you're closer and more easily accessible. He'll also make sure everything is up to his pretty high standards so that you're comfortable and well cared for.

And if anyone dares say you're not actually his sibling or best friend, he's not afraid to challenge them to a fight. He'll rough them up a bit more than necessary, too, just to let the message sink in.

In a romantic sense, once Robb gets an inkling of affection for you, he'll fall pretty fast and hard.

Robb grew up seeing his parents have this fairytale-like love and he strives to have that sort of thing with you.

He'll go about courting you in a very romantic manner. He brings you your favorite flowers, asks you to go on walks or on a horse ride alone with him, compliments you all the time, and tries his hardest to win all of the sparring matches he has with Theon and Jon when you're around.

(And not that you'll ever know this, but he goes out of his way to scare off any other potential suitors you have. Sometimes he might threaten them himself, but other times he'll pay a guard or two to do the dirty work.)

Robb wants you to see him as honorable, strong, and brave. He never wants you to fear him.

And he can be pretty good about being normal. If his father is still around, he'll be pretty persistent in convincing him to arrange a marriage with you, even if you're a commoner or a bastard.

Once Robb becomes King of the North, he won't really care what anyone else thinks. He's going to marry you, end of story.

He's pretty convincing when it comes to you. Any doubts or protests you have about the idea will be reasoned away because Robb will hammer in the idea that he is hopelessly in love with you.

Robb could not care less if you were born a bastard or anything else. Once he's as obsessed as he is with you, he'd go to hell and back to protect and love you.

And Grey Wind would be just as protective. The giant dire wolf would follow you anywhere, especially when Robb isn't able to be near you.

The two are psychically connected, so you'll have a giant wolf who will see any new and not directly trusted person as a threat. After all, Grey Wind is basically just Robb if he didn't hold himself back all the time.

Given the level of Robb's obsession, no one can get within fifteen feet of you without getting snapped at.

Still, Robb isn't all that bad. When it comes to you, he's very loving, kind, and loyal. He will never give you any reason to doubt his devotion to you.

If you ignore the number of people you know he would and has killed for you, it's actually a pretty nice time.

I see a lot of debate on this fandoms found family obsession and I want to add my two cents and headcannons that no one reaaaallllyyyyy cares about.

I think there's a balance of it that's good. For example, I think interpreting Maya and Phoenix as siblings is just as valid as best friends. Siblings can be best friends, my own sister is literally my best friend. It works with the dynamic of them both feeling like they're taking each other in after Mia's death, and I see their banter and can relate it to how my sister and I treat each other.

On the other hand, I don't like it when people give Phoenix and Apollo the father-son dynamic. I think there is a level of protectiveness from Phoenix, coming from seeing some of himself when he was younger in Apollo, as well as knowing he's Trucy's brother. But Apollo is an adult who looked up to Phoenix when he was younger, just his trust betrayed. At first it's a case of never meet your idols for Apollo. He also finds him irritating. I think there is a point where those two can get on good terms and Apollo forgives Phoenix, but they aren't family. It's a different type of love and care. They are mentor and mentee. Apollo will always find Phoenix annoying too, he just gets used to it and that irritation no longer is from a place of resentment, just Phoenix pushing his buttons.

As far as Athena goes, I haven't played much of DD yet because I started as the new trilogy got announced and decided to wait, but I think it's another case of Phoenix being protective but not quite in an adopted kid sense. He sees a young girl who needs some love, care, and guidance. You can love and care for someone a bit like a daughter without going all the way into they are my daughter territory. Trucy and Athena? Best friends. You know how so many of us have best friends that are basically like a sibling but we don't literally feel like siblings? That's them. They are an unstoppable duo.

As far as Edgeworth and Kay goes, I haven't finished AAI but I do see a little bit of adopted father-daughter dynamic, but not as intense. Kay is very self sufficient and made it through her teen years without her own dad or Edgeworth in her life. They are bonded over the shared trauma of losing a parent at the courthouse and Edgeworth is protective of her and his door is always open for her in the good and the bad. The paternal instinct is there and he would help her through anything. I feel like Kay called him Dad by accident one time and that did make them more like family, but apart from emotional times or jokes, he is Mr Edgeworth.

On the note of Edgeworth, I'm not keen on the adopting basically the entire prosecutor's office. I just don't feel like that's Edgeworth. I do think he softens yes. I do think he cares about his employees, but it's the vibe of a good boss being on professionally friendly terms. They can go to him for help, sometimes not work related. He can be a mentor. But he's their boss first and foremost, and in a more Edgeworth sense than Phoenix. More by the book. So yes he cares about them and can sometimes be protective, but not in a family way.

I do like Edgeworth eventually becoming Trucy's other Dad, but it takes time. For a long time he's Uncle Edgeworth and it takes him a long time to adjust to that even. Eventually he starts treating Trucy like a daughter, Phoenix pulls him up on it, he has a bit of a crisis. This is after the 7yg when Phoenix no longer has to live in the shell he did before getting his name cleared, therefore being able to officially be with Miles. Point being it's not immediate. He does immediately live Trucy but his instinct isn't familial for a while.

Honestly me explaining this hasn't completely gotten what's in my head across about I hope you get what I mean.

Also, at the end of the day everyone can have their own interpretation of the game. People will make it what they need it to be and that's okay. As long as what you are going with isn't illegal or straight up gross, go ahead. These are my own conclusions I've come to and it's these interpretations I look for in the media I consume, but whatever fuels your love for this series is what matters ✨

Tech has never met anyone that shared his thirst for knowledge, then he got a jedi.

When you mention liking plants he tells you every fact he knows. When you fire back with plants he’s never even heard of he stares at you in shock. Later he uses his datapad to confirm everything you told him is correct. He doesn't sleep that night. Too busy researching.

The next day he sees the lockscreen on your own datapad. It’s you, a Kel Dor jedi, and a clone trooper with a gigantic white wolf. You notice his stare and smile. “Did you know loth wolves are force sensitive?” No, he did not know that. He asks you multiple questions about the force and the jedi. He knows Hunter told him not to interrogate you but he can’t help himself and you don’t seem to mind.

“I read that jedi can heal with the force. How does that work, sir?”

“Well first you use the force to assess the injury, feel how much damage is done and envision what needs to be fixed. Then you use the living force to speed up the natural healing process.”

“Can you read minds?”

“Yes but not in the way that you think. I don’t hear verbal thoughts, it’s more like feelings and intentions.”

“What is the force like?”

“It’s like a comm in the back of my mind, constantly flicking through channels. The volume changes but it never turns off.” Without meaning to his face screws up. That sounds completely overwhelming. He thinks about Hunter hiding under his blankets, whimpering from sensory overload after a hard training session. He frowns worryingly.

You smile as if sensing his concern. You probably can. “I know it sounds like a lot but once you’re used to the background music, you can’t live without it.”

You also enjoy mechanics but oddly enough you talk about droids like they're living beings. You confess that when you first joined the order, later than most and unable to speak a word of basic, you had a hard time making friends. You spent a lot of time with droids. Tech can relate.

Then you’re excitedly pulling him to your temporary quarters on Kamino, saying you have something to show him. “When my master found out I was joining a unit without an official medic he got me Pup.”

“Pup?”

“She’s an AZI series surgical assistant droid!”

He shouldn’t be surprised you’ve named your droid. And gave it pronouns. You never use CT numbers when referring to clones. If they don’t have a name yet you call them vod or nerra or even an affectionate name like dear one. But never by a number.

You even show him the inner workings of your lightsaber, all though Tech is a bit distracted by the fact the parts are all levitating. The way you explain your weapon as it’s a part of you reminds him of Crosshair.

You both have an interest in foreign languages and cultures. Tech explains that growing up the bad batch were completely isolated from other clones and most trainers. The little mando’a they do know they learnt from their ori’vod, 99.

Your conversations become a mix of languages the others fail to keep up with: Basic, Ryl, Dai Bendu, Mando’a, and even Huttese. You’re practically fluent thanks to past undercover work and Tech finds the crass language interesting. The insults are most creative.

When he sits in the pilot seat of the marauder for the first time you’re beside him with a smirk, “modify anything you want, just tell me how to use it.” He has never been given so much creative freedom before and it makes his mind buzz with ideas. When he tests how fast the ship can go his brothers scream but you grin in the co pilot's seat. Tech finds he quite enjoys your company.

Your first mission takes you to Felucia. It’s a success. The locals invite the you all to a feast that night but until then you have some free time. Tech wonders if you would be interested in helping him with those modifications you mentioned. Just then you enter the ship.

“I’m going to do some exploring if anyone wants to come. A local told me a lot of flowers are blooming right now.”

Tech’s head snaps up at your offer. Being raised on Kamino he has no real life experience with plants. It sounds most fascinating. He tells you so. You grin, bid goodbye to the rest of the batch, and the two of you are off.

He’s excitedly telling you about the medicinal properties of a neon colored flower when he spares a glance at you, his words trailing off awkwardly. Your back is to him as you kneel in the grass. Apparently the ground is more interesting than him.

The dismissal stings a bit but he tries to ignore it. He should be used to this kind of reaction by now. But… he learnt all this for you. He thought you liked plants. Maybe he’s the problem?

“Why’d you stop?”

The question makes him pause. He wasn’t expecting that. Maybe you’re pretending to care about his lecture to spare his feelings. Yes, that makes sense. From what he’s observed you care a great deal about other’s feelings.

“Apologies, general. I have the tendency to ramble.”

“I know.” You state neutrally. He gulps, feeling his ears redden in shame. Then you’re standing and turning to face him in one swift movement, a comforting smile on your lips. “I like it.”

For a moment he’s speechless. A feeling Tech is not used to. “Pardon?”

Then he notices something bright blue-green curled around your bare arm. Because you didn’t want to wear any armor for a nature walk. He has so many questions.

“I like talking to you. I always learn something new.” You calmly pet what Tech now recognizes as some kind of snake. “Your brothers don’t mind your talking either.”

He stares at you in shock. An odd warm, fluttery feeling blooms in his chest. Maybe he’s ill. You notice his stare and offer a shrug, like you soothe insecurities while adopting unknown creatures all the time. Maybe you do.

“This little guy was chilly so I offered him some body heat.”

You say it like that explains everything. Tech still has so many questions. “How could you tell he was uncomfortable?” He finally asks.

“In the force,” you answer plainly. “I can form emotional connections with animals. He's so calm because he can sense I want to help him.”

Okay. So you can communicate with animals. He’s adding that to his notes as soon as possible. Tech continues to stare at the colorful reptile. Where has he seen that scale pattern before? He made sure to research Felucia before their arrival so it’s reasonable to assume the snake popped up, but what is it’s name?

Tech frowns as he turns on his trusty datapad. He hates not knowing things. But before he can even open the app he remembers. Feluican tree viper. Venomous. He looks at your serene face in alarm.

“Don’t worry, Tech. He won’t hurt me,” you soothe, meeting his shocked gaze with a small smile. “I can feel your concern.”

He’s still put off by the venomous reptile wrapped around your flesh but he has to admit, it’s fascinating. He raises his datapad to take a pic. You wordlessly move the animal closer. “Thank you, sir.”

“You don’t have to call me that off missions.”

He hums noncommittally. The viper flicks out an orange tongue just as he snaps the holopic. “Do animals feel different than humans in the force?” He asks curiously.

“Mhmm it depends. All living things have a presence but creatures and plants are more... shallow." You give him a playful look, “I can recognize familiar signatures. I would never confuse you with a snake.”

“Do clones feel different from one another?”

“Of course they do!” You answer immediately, as if the question is ridiculous. “I could tell you apart blindfolded.”

He recalls a time the two of you were working on your droid when without looking up you greeted Crosshair who had entered the room. Tech didn’t think that much of it at the time. Growing up with a brother who can hear heartbeats and recognize scents he’s used to that kind of behavior. But now he’s curious.

“How do you perceive me?”

“You feel like… a tuned up engine.” Your eyes widen in alarm at your own words, the snake suddenly becoming restless against you. Tech is confused by your sudden change in demeanor. And slightly worried about the venomous reptile. If you get agitated while sharing an emotional connection with a creature, how will they react? For the first time in Tech life, he doesn't want to learn.

"Not in an inhuman way!” You splutter. “Your mind is just… a lot of working parts coming together. Is that rude?”

Tech has never been good at social cues but he is genuinely baffled now. Nothing about your explanation seemed snide or backhanded. “How would that be rude? It sounds like a fitting description.”

You take a calming breath as the viper slithers torwards your chest in an almost sympathetic way, small head resting over your heart. It's seemed to relax thankfully. It's almost like it's trying to comfort you? Fascinating. Your voice is meek when you answer, “well, some nat-borns treat clones like droids. I don’t want you to think I’m like that.”

Tech is caught off guard. Not only do you care about his emotions, you care what he thinks of you? That should be obvious. Why would he go on a nature walk with someone who views him as subhuman? Who doesn't respect him? He’s never been good at expressing himself so he just focuses on being honest. “I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t enjoy your presence. You have given me no reason to doubt your character.”

Your smile is gentle but meaningful. He awkwardly pushes up his goggles. Not one for emotional conversations he reverts to his comfort zone, researching. “What about my brothers?”

You hum thoughtfully as you bend down, allowing your snake friend to slither into the brush. You notice some fire colored flowers and plop onto the ground to get a closer look.

“Hunter is like… A calm forest.” You say, plucking a few of the plants. “Wrecker is fireworks.” You begin to tie the stems together with nimble fingers. “Crosshair is the air before a storm.”

Tech finds all your descriptions fitting. He's efficient. Hunter is steady. Wrecker is free spirited. Crosshair is harsh. That only leaves one member. “What about you?” He asks.

“Me?”

“How are you perceived by fellow jedi?”

“Well it changes from person to person but I’ve been told I’m bright and warm.” You explain as you stand. “My master once called me a shooting star.”

You suddenly thrust the hoop of flowers towards Tech. “It’s a necklace!” You explain proudly. He observes your innocent happiness as he dons the creation. He finds it hard to accept you’re the same warrior who took out 50+ battle droids only hours ago.

“Thank you, gen–” he cuts himself off, recalling your preferred nickname. “Thank you, Blossom.”

You positively beam. Tech is not force sensitive, nor does he understand the mystical energy field, yet he finds himself agreeing with your master’s assessment. You are indeed a shooting star.

I have realized it is extremely difficult to search through my asks related only to a specific topic oops..

My theory stems from a specific Moon dialogue. The one in the void where she explains that the solution was something beyond their understanding. A variable out of infinity that EVEN if they found, the wouldn't know to test. Basically this this finding one single thing out of an infinity of options. Not only that, but the only way to know the answer is to cross into the void and escape the cycles. Which would mean that upon discovering it, you would ascend.

Hey. Did you know that Sliver of Straw's name suspiciously much sounds like the saying "Needle in a haystack".

I've rambled about her name before it's extremely clever. I mean it literally translates to SOS while she's known for sending the triple affirmative signal and perishing.

In my theory I want to give the idea that Sliver didn't find the answer on purpose. She stumbled on it and forcefully ascended before she had enough time to explain, share or do anything more than send it out.

So then okay she's in the void. Why did she come back as Saint. What's going on?

Well the void is described as a dream. Which would mean it gives those who have departed the cycles a peaceful existence. Think of Hunter being embraced by NSH and Survivor finding their family in the home tree. Monk finding their sibling as well.

Well Sliver no doubt went through the same experience as well... however..

You can tell it's a dream. Or at least the iterators can, because they are much more intelligent. Sliver would know that her dreams aren't real. Her loved ones she sees are still stuck in the cycles, somewhere she can't reach. And she's stuck unwillingly, it was all an accident she can't escape from. And she had friends! She often bet on animal fights like a dumbass, you cannot tell me she was fully devoted and did nothing else, but work with that silly hobby in mind. It's a very goofy detail to add to her character.

I think she suffered a lot in the void. Being all alone and stuck. It was unfair to be the only one free of the cycles, especially when her accomplishment wasn't even purposeful. So she attempts to escape. More or less swim up just how we see Saint doing.

But there are in fact void worms guarding the sea. I imagine they dragged her back down. Again and again.

What goes in the void can't leave. That's a rule!

So what she does is basically destroy herself. Take herself appart in any way she can, mentally and physically so that she can ascend as something anew.

Which is where the last challenge in arena mode makes more sense. It's non canon. Sliver didn't die, because of Saint. But it is more so symbolic! She is ascended so that Saint can take her place.

It is difficult and painful, but she manages. It is also beyond cool how the motif of the game, but inverted is use for Saint's swim back to the world. I did a lengthy ramble about it here I highly recommend you give it a read, because even the music used adds to this theory! > (x) < Here it is.

All the creatures in rain world are helpless from the big iterators to the smallest of slug cats.

Sliver takes her fate in her own hands refusing to follow the world's rules, becoming Saint. This was he can give the answer to his family. To every creature he can save from the repeating cycles. Comic about that here > (x) Even if Saint's goal is unachievable he chases it anyway. Which is what makes him an echo!

As Moon and Pebbles understand.. he's the only one that can. And it is why his journey is so incredibly important. He's the only one who has seen beyond the void sea and can bring back that knowledge to others! And it's what Saint does. This is why Sliver can never return to a peaceful existence in the void sea.

HOLD THE PHONE!!! - Wait, Did I notice that... POPPY IS ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE THAT FRANK SMILED WITH?!?!?! I know it's a bit of a stretch, But If you search through every single artwork you can find the eddie and POPPY are the first people that frank is shown smiling with. The assisted standing with Frank also adds to the possibility that Poppy is Convalescent, Meaning she may be recovering from an unknown illness causing her needing support.

Was an effeminate boy? - Y'all already know that Poppy is a Trans woman. But we can see that she was a girl but I like to believe that she was an effeminate boy that loved "girly" things so ofc she would be bullied for it, But what made her successfully become a woman was her best friend, Sally / Byeol Cheoleom. Sally encouraged her all the way while poppy was transitioning and Poppy made it.

Ethnicity Analysis Time!!! - I believe that Poppy is a Mestiza, a mestiza is a woman of mixed European and indigenous non-European ancestry in the former Spanish Empire. Plus, I think she's a red legged partridge that is NATIVE TO SPAIN.

♥️BEFORE MAIN STORY♥️

Believe it or not, Riddle was the first one who had found you.

You were still a young bloomer fairy type and was kinda hungry when you were wandering and admiring the lovely rose maze that had surrounded the Red Dorm.

You didnt know how you got there in the first place but you didnt seem to care for hunger had taken over your senses, which had lead you to the window of the kitchen in the Heartslabyul dorm.

At the time, Riddle wasnt Dorm Leader yet so he had meet you through he's time of duty to paint the roses according to the rules of the dorm.

The then first-year was taken back at your sudden appearance at the rose maze.

He had heard and are aware that there are fairies that roam around Night Raven College but dont exactly approach students directly.

So imagine he's suprise when he had saw you.

You didnt look like any fairy he had seen or heard.

He might probably think that your a some kind of garden fairy with how your so drawn to the roses.

But some how, one thing led to the next with you two becoming quite inseparable after you were curiously looking at him as he work.He couldnt stop himself from thinking how cute you are when you tried to copy him in painting the roses red.

Especially on trying to carry a paint brush that is to big for you.

Heck, you even follow him like how little ducklings would do with their mom.

Of course, Riddle wasnt very comfortable at first but he quickly gotten use to your presence which is kinda unlike him.

He already knew the consequences of slacking off on he's studies but...He couldnt force himself from being apart from for some reason.

Along with the rest of the members of the Heartslabyul Dorm.

Many were in shock to see the first year being followed by some kind of fairy, especially how fae can tend to act around humans but your cuteness is just to much to resist!

You found this place very wierd to be honest but in a fun way!

You love how big the space is for you to fly around.

The garden outside with all it's red and white roses were beautiful.

And the tea parties and unbirthday parties were the best!

The previous prefect and vice even decided to secratly made you an honorary little garden fairy of the Heartslabyul dorm.

Even after Riddle became Prefect, he still let you kept your title seeing as it fits your helpfulness around the dorm.

Though, still young as you are, didnt understand what does that mean but you knew that you are gonna show them that you are a big girl!

You celebrated by letting out sparkles around Riddle and soon the whole tea part participants with smiles and laughter around the area.

Of course, Cater and Trey were also among the suprise Heartslabyul students.

You reminded Trey of he's little siblings back at home, especielly when you help him with the food for the tea parties and trying to sneakily eat a piece of dessert without him knowing.

He soon learn that you somehow like honey when he was using some for some pastries and when you gotten yourself coated in it when you try to open the jar.

But he also appreciates your determined helpfulness around the dorm despite your small stature.

Perhaps thats what makes you and Riddle relate.

Trey cant help but let out a bittersweet smile at the thought, but nonetheless, he is happy to see he's friend happy once more.

Cater found you so adorable! Instantly taking pics of ya in Magicam that soon have hundreds of views and likes from how cute you were in the shots.

He even taken videos of you using your "magic"/moves around the garden.

You love how cheerful Cater isn especially when the two of you play togather when painting the roses, he is one of your favorite best friends! (Along side Trey and Riddle).

Oh how he wish that you were he's little sister.

You view Riddle as your Mommy/Big brother.

You two are always togather and everyone in the dorm knows that.

Of course, Riddle will not neglect in teaching you the 810 rules of the Queen of Heart's dorm so that you wont broke them.

You didnt understand most of them nor remember all of them but you tried your very best to make Riddle happy.

And it paid off with some of the dorm residents calling you as the 2nd vice prefect with you are always by he's side and always report him about someone who is breaking the rules.

This was during he's first year so he wasnt exactly that hard core in the main story.

But you also didnt always tell him who had broken the rules.

You made sure to remind the person about the rule that they had or about to break by circling around them with some kind of sparkles or pollen since they cant understand you.

By doing this, they knew the message right away.

And whenever a Heartslabyul students are gonna brawl it out and that Riddle isnt gonna use he's UM on them, its you with your "magical" pollen that makes them instantly and made them calm and relax.

When summer came, you cried a river when Riddle told you that you had to stay.

It breaks both of your hearts but Riddle cant let he's mom knew of you, he cant lose you too.

Many of the residents let out bittersweet bye and you giving out a "Flabebe!" as a goodbye to them as they left for summer break.

Cater made one last pic before promising you with the other residents that you all will come back soon.

Trey even left a cake for you before he left for home.

As soon as they left, the dorm was empty.

Of course, you continue watching over the garden but it wasnt the same.

You always eat Trey's cake alone during late nights, even crying out a river with fat sad tears as you wonder why they didnt bring you.

You asked Arcerus above why they didnt bring you.

Soon, curioisty gotten the best of you as you pull your white fairy flower to go explore the campus that you barely got to see.

Due to this exploration of yours, you had meet the other fairies in NRC that were all doing their thing when you had approach them.

The fairies were suprise to see such a young of their kind in such place.

This place is too dangerous for someone as young as you.

But they cant help but wonder what type of fea are you.

They can feel that you are a fea but dont what kind.

Yet nonetheless, the fairies quickly took you in as they kept you company through out the summer.

Some even were disgusted and horrified that the studnets of your dorm had left you, a fea toddler, on her own.

They made a promise to lecture them about it.

♥️MAIN STORY♥️

Riddle, Trey and Cater happily beam at the sigh of you happily flying towards them in your flower as you joyfully dance around them and the new students with your pollen as to welcome them (back) to the dorm.

Riddle indulge himself, for once since he's return to him, to finally relax from such a tiring and troublesome day had during the ceremony earlier with a certain cat and magicless character.

The older dorm members smiled and greeted you as they had missed you during the summer break but the 1st years had expressions if shock and bewilderment at the sight of a fea-like creature greeting them upon entry at to their new dorm.

They had the same expressions and thoughts like Riddle and the other students like him had when they first see you for the first time last year.

During Riddle's introduction to the new members about Heartslabyul and that they should be obligated to the rules of the Queen of Hearts, he gastured towards you as he tell the 1st years that you are the dorm's personal garden fairy and that they shall treat you with respect aswell.

Many of the 1st years who are aware about the nature of feas were shock, considering how feas dont exactly approach or even like humans to the point of becoming their personal helper but the whispers were quickly shut with a single glare from the housewarden as they all were now disperse for now.

During that night ,when it was bedtime, Riddle rock you to sleep just like he did last year as he made sure to keep you comfortably cozy on the pillow that you always sleep on, with both of you content during your slumbers.

A soft smile grace your little mouth.

Oh how you had missed this and you hope he will never leave you alone again.

During one night, you had spotted a student with a heart on he's face light at night with a fridge wide open, allowing lighg through the dark late evening as he was about to eat one of the tarts that you helped Trey with for the upcoming Unbirthday party.

Alarmed, you quickly float towards him and made gastures to make him stop eating the tart before he would get into any trouble with Riddle.

Ace, the one who is eating the tart, was suprise like among he's fellow first years when he had first saw you but currently, he is hungry so he tried to shoo you away or tell you that he was hungry, in which you understand but Riddle would get mad!

Yet Riddle found out upon entering the kitchen and collared Ace right on the spot.

You let out a sighed at your failed attempts to stop him, feeling quite sad that you failed as you tried to follow the first year until Riddle had stop you, telling you that you no longer have to worry about Ace any longer and that it was he's problem and he's alone but Riddle quickly brighten your mood by offering some honey since you did caught Ace on the act.

He quickly pulled you and him back to bed as he did he's usually routine with you before going to sleep, but this time he allowed you to sleep on the same bed togather, cuddling away into the night.

You officially meet him, Deuce, Yuu and Grim was when you stubbornly follow Trey to the kitchen, considering that you wanted to go out of the dorm and finally take a small break from your little work.

And made sure to keep he's not gonna prank the noobies like he had done to ya with the oyster sauce.

Yuck.

Deuce had seen and heard about you so he was very excited to meet such a cute fea, especielly how you kinda act like small child or sibling that wants to help in doing big jobs like he had with he's mom.

He enjoy he's time of decorating the tart with you, especielly on the whip cream part where you have cream all over you as you lick it all up from your tiny hands with happy squeaks and giggles and when you helped in calming him down by spreading your pollen all over him to relax he's anger over the delinquents.

Grim were shock to see a fea, a baby/kid one nonetheless, but didnt think anything special about ya but did ended up having a small competition with you on the chestnuts.

Yuu thought you were adorable, liking how you helped around in making the apology tart for Ace to give.

Ace thought you were like Riddle, since he had seen you always by he's side but he cant deny the help (and reassurance) you gave for him to apologise to Riddle.

You had sent out Fairy wind when Trey had done the joke.

The sight of several collared students in the lounge area was horror to behold, as you tried to chear them up with some of your small party tricks and spread some pollen to help them relax abit...

But if only it had worked on you aswell.

When the day had finally come....lets just say it there were alot has happened and it was just the beginning.

You never had seen Riddle act like this before, never in your life have you had seen such rage and anger that he had displayed right before your eyes as you hide behind Trey and Cater in fear.

As the Adeuce and Ramshackle duo had been kicked out, you tried to follow them to only be stopped by Riddle to just let them be and after what you had seen him, you hesitantly oblifge but decided to stay abit away from him out of fear.

And soon after that, Riddle and you have been very distant with the former no fool to the situation yet didnt seem to try to explain to you as you two started to drift away more and more with you even started to sleep more with Trey to avoid him.

Your friendship with Riddle strained even more after he had insulted Ace and Deuce during their tournament for the Housewarden position and to overthrow him.

Was this the Riddle you know? Why was he acting like a meanie? Why was he so...so.... Was he just...pretending?

Despite the tears spilling out 9f your eyes, you quickly stood against him and used all your attacks against him.

Riddle was taken by surprise, along with everyone else, as he was knocked over and hit by your attacks but he was able to collar ya aswell after he had lift up he's pen through the attacks.

It was hurting.

Your prickled tears finally spilled into full on waterfalls as Riddle even insluted as to why he even let you be in the dorm with how you are acting like them aswell.

That was the final straw for Ace to hit a punch.

After the whole Overblot mess, Cater quickly had came to you with your still intact flower in hand as he soothed you through your frighten state as you hiccup here and there with tears.

Riddle quickly apologise to you after he had remembered of what he had said to you.

He apogise and apologise with tears at how he had insulted you, the first perso who had gave the same feeling that he had with Trey and Chenya in a long time.

You two hug it out in a tender embrace as Ace kept on rambling that he's crying wasnt enough for an apologise with the others watching you and Riddle but you both ignore it for now, enjoying the needed hug to your hearts contents.

"Catch him! CATCH HIM!!!"

Che'nya giggled as he carried you away to go off to RSA with very angry Heartslabyul students chasing you two down throughout the whole dorm.

You’re 100% correct! Shadow has absolutely no bearing on where he places in culture on earth. He’s not been conditioned to socialize, and his only examples are from pure fiction, which is whatever Maria happens to be watching/reading. It makes him very out of place, and adds to the strange ‘other’ quality about him. (He’s also like. SUPER autistic coded 😂 It becomes even more apparent when next to ADHD king Sonic himself.

As for Sonic relating, yes and no. I know in canon it’s very insinuated that Shadow and Maria have a sibling-coded relationship, and that’s still SORTA true here, but it’s more complicated than that, since Shadow isn’t really equalized here. They’ve got a mix of being best friends, adoptive siblings, but also Shadow is totally reliant upon Maria’s continued existence to have the freedom that he has. He loves what he does, working and taking care of Maria makes him happy. But it’s hard to really be labeled with any singular relationship that we as normal people would have, y’know?

And I think Sonic would sort of relate in the sense that Maria is Shadow’s first and most lifelong friend, which is what Tails is to him. I’ve always liked the parallel of Tails being to Sonic what Maria is to Shadow in canon, though it’s a somewhat rough approximation (I mean, if Tails were Sonic’s ONLY friend that he was dedicated to protecting, I think it would be even closer to an accurate comparison). But at the same time, Sonic also recognizes that he and Tails’ relationship is different in the sense that they aren’t codependent from necessity, but he WANTS shadow to have that sibling bond with Maria. He can tell it’s what Shadow wants; he’s just too held back by duty and responsibility to be that carefree with her. That’s something Shadow will learn from Sonic over time 💙

The 12 Classes of Blood.

"Blood is the Aspect of bonds, relations, friendship or relationship or hatred, anything that holds the idea of people connecting and interacting. Blood Players usually strive for community, craving the unity of people, thriving on groups of friends, families, rioters getting ready to protest, anything that ties the bloods together. They can have a hard time adjusting to freedom, preferring the value of the attachments in their life. Their view of the world is very interesting, mostly focused on the association between people, even the disharmonic ones".

"Blood can be literal, in the sense of a Blood Player’s path having to do with their care or lack of care for a sibling or parent, but it can also be about friends or lovers. They can attempt to form unity whenever they can, that might be their way of dealing with the world. They have a thought that “everyone has the same blood”. Blood is the opposite Aspect to “Breath”, which is focused on freedom and detachment".

Sburb Players each have a combination of an Aspect and a Class. Aspects are understood to represent what a player’s goals and actions in life are caused by. A Class is within an Aspect and understood to represent the way they deal with their Aspect.

The Sburb Classes are Maid, Page, Mage, Knight, Rogue, Sylph, Seer, Thief, Heir, Bard, Prince, and Witch. (Lord and Muse*)

(*Classes Lord and Muse seem to only be possible in either Cherub society or in two-player sessions. They are very absolute and it’s rare for a human to identify with their descriptions. I will have to leave them out here and only write about the remaining twelve :)

Adding the Classes to the Aspect of Blood will result in twelve God Tiers. My analyses of them are as follows:

1st God Tier: Witch of Blood

Witch is the Active Class of manipulation. Witches are known to “control” their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Witch of Blood, specifically, would believe themselves to work better under stress, with second plans, with a strong sense of security, but their most productive moments will be those in which they decide to be free and “go with the flow”. Being the rebels against Blood, they would be deeply interested in exploring how they could break rules of conformity, even the ones they planned for themselves. They don’t like leadership, they don’t want to be responsible for other people; they are followers of change even when they don’t mean to be. They have very complex relationships, whether romantic or platonic, but not complex as difficult, and rather as “interesting to explore”. Their connections to others can be of heavy weight to them, as they sometimes doubt they are the right thing — they can love their best friend deeply but wonder all the time “do I really? Should I just leave them?”, for example. Blood Players tend to be chaotic, but I see Witches as the most collected of the lot. In regards to society, I can view them being into anarchism even if only as an interest of study.

2nd God Tier: Heir of Blood

Heir is the Passive Class of manipulation. Heirs are known to “influence” their Aspect or through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. An Heir of Blood, specifically, would be the connecting link between people and situations. This is one of the coolest God Tiers, because Heirs become their Aspect somehow, so they would be inspired into inspiring relationships and unity, for example introducing people to their biggest passions, changing lives even when they don’t mean to, by helping their friends find themselves in what they were always meant to be doing. An Heir of Blood would have a lot of friends and probably be highly sociable and open-minded. Their challenge in life can have to do with low self-esteem in romantic surroundings, and maybe a belief that all of their friends are more interesting than them. Still with that, Heirs of Blood will be thought of as great company. They may pursue jobs related to inspiration and guiding other people.

3rd God Tier: Mage of Blood

Mage is the Active Class of knowledge. Mages are known to “understand” their Aspect or through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Mage of Blood, specifically, would be really experienced with all forms of social interaction and/or close connections. They would be the friend that solves the issues and that takes the lead when it is time to make a decision involving somebody else (needing to talk to a figure of authority to help with something within the group, for example). I see Mages having confidence in what their Aspect represents, so they would know what they are doing, but, at the same time, it is said that Mages “suffer” from their Aspect, and I like to believe that is because they are too self-aware of it. So this would be the bad part, they would perhaps feel like they already know everything and refuse to take advice from others when it comes to their friendships or familiar bonds. And of course, since Blood also talks about binds, these Mages could also be knowledgeable in politics and social issues, naturally good at talking about it.

4th God Tier: Seer of Blood

Seer is the Passive Class of knowledge. Seers are known to “study” their Aspect or through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Seer of Blood, specifically, would be fairly observant but retracted from social interactions. They would be the “judge instead of the participant”, and make up for what they lack with rigorous practice. In Blood, that means yes, they would constantly force themselves out of their comfort zone and challenge connections and bonds. They could be the most routine-based person in the Sburb session, and the most to-themselves person in the friend group. I think Seers are really interesting because they show signs of their Aspect even in childhood! I mean, all people do, but Seers do in a particular way.

Seer of Blood is a canon Homestuck God Tier. Kankri Vantas is the character that holds that title.

5th God Tier: Thief of Blood

If you read into Thief of Blood I suggest you also read into Rogue of Blood — I wrote them together as one.

Thief is the Active Class of stealing. Thieves are known to “take” from their Aspect and through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Thief of Blood, specifically, would not be as evil-sounding as their title suggests, but they would be or make themselves seem overly powerful within their Aspect. Thieves in general tend to depend a lot on their Aspect in a way to strengthen themselves, and with Blood that may be done by engaging in self-serving relationships, whether romantic or platonic. I feel like it’s important to state that not! all! Thieves! are! selfish!!! But acting in their own interests is part of their unique pattern of Aspect handling. Again, Thief is the Active Class of stealing, so these would bring Blood to themselves, benefit from connections and structure in a way that is focused not on a clear objective but rather on the overall feeling of the Player. Stealing Blood is just something they do, because they were built to do just that.

If this is too abstract for you to understand, I’d suggest that you are not a Thief of Blood. But in any form, I hope this finds them.

6th God Tier: Rogue of Blood

If you read into Rogue of Blood I suggest you also read into Thief of Blood — I wrote them together as one.

Rogue is the Passive Class of stealing. Rogues are known to “redistribute” their Aspect or through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Rogue of Blood, specifically, would be hard to notice. They would showcase a lot of power, but much less evidently than the Thief would. Likewise, their connections would be mostly selfless, even to the extreme point of lacking focus on their own person. But remember that not! all! Rogues! are! selfless!!! It’s just a theme in their pattern that they handle their Aspect with focus on the outside world. In a Blood way, that would mean the Rogue would be active in helping society, maybe taking that as their objective in life. Parades, sure, but I’m thinking mostly protests, even if silent activism that changes humanity little by little. Sometimes they’d think they are wasting their time and should be focused on other things, but that is just the questioning that will always be present in their lives. They are doing the correct thing, just usually not in the right quantity.

7th God Tier: Knight of Blood

Knight is the Active Class of utilizing. Knights are known to “handle” their Aspect and through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Knight of Blood, specifically, would feel a strong sense of duty that they should use their Aspect in the best way possible, possibly creating pressure on themselves. They tend to be into leading and/or handling other people, following the knowledge that their Aspect is their objective in life. Outside Sburb, this can mean this Knight is the best person in a group when it comes to having empathy and being understanding. We see that in Homestuck, with Knight of Blood being one of the most well-explained God Tiers. They are unable to ignore their duty, but of course they also make mistakes relating to it, they are as imperfect as every other person. We see the Knight of Blood being the center of all relationships, but still failing at their own because of said imperfection.

Knight of Blood is a canon Homestuck God Tier. Karkat Vantas is the character that holds that title.

8th God Tier: Page of Blood

Page is the Passive Class of utilizing. Pages are known to “rise” their Aspect or through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Page of Blood, specifically, would feel like they lack talent in handling other people and social dynamics, but in reality, just be held back by their own insecurities and feelings that they are insufficient. If they tried to apply effort into their Aspect, they’d find all the potential they have, understanding their place and their destiny. A realized Page will happily utilize connections, routine, revolution, everything in its own place, and will even uplift others in their own Aspects, but only after defying their limits. Pages can be the center of a Sburb session. Sometimes everyone depends on them so they all can be their best versions.

9th God Tier: Maid of Blood

Maid is the Active Class of construction. Maids are known to “create” their Aspect or through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Maid of Blood, specifically, would at first not believe in their talents. Unlike Pages, they are creators, not users of the Aspect, and so their relation to it depends on more than facing their limits. A Maid of Blood will be a pushover in the beginning, and have to fight to find a relevant place in relationships and gatherings. They might even be built up by others, depending on them before emancipating themselves. But this characteristic doesn’t mean they are inferior to others, it simply means their initial challenge will be finding independence in their Aspect. A Maid of Blood will follow advice and whatever others say is the right way to handle connections, I can see that as accepting what anyone does, following their therapist’s relationship advice without hesitation, go through life accepting the minimum thinking that is all they deserve. The thing with them will be realizing they are not made to only follow. Realized, again, they would be great bosses, good at controlling people, changing minds, inspiring.

10th God Tier: Sylph of Blood

Sylph is the Passive Class of construction. Sylphs are known to “build” their Aspect or through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Sylph of Blood, specifically, would be very dependent on relationships and order in their life. Their favorite things in life will be concerts, parades, football games, anything that brings people together with one common goal. They will thrive in situations where they have to deal with others, be good at community, or at least like community a lot. I can see them not being very patient, however, for example when something disrupts this sense of union that they crave. They can get frustrated more than the other Blood Players, because they are the ones who feel they should be the ones doing the building. They will also be extremely hardworking when it comes to helping others, since Sylph is a healing Class and Blood is a people Aspect.

11th God Tier: Prince of Blood

Prince is the Active Class of destruction. Princes are known to “wreck” their Aspect and through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Prince of Blood, specifically, would be a complicated person to deal with, but mostly because of things that can be fixed. Princes are the opposite of Maids, so they are usually self-obsessed and self-confident; they know they are meant for / can’t escape / must act on their Aspect (their destiny). But for that reason they also aggressively hold their Aspect, in a way that might make them seem overbearing to people around them. When healing, a Prince of Blood will crave stability in social dynamics, believing that they would be completely fixed if only they had the friendship / relationship / community / family that they deserve. And they will heal from that, from perhaps creating their own community / family / etc. and building their destiny, positively seeing their Aspect.

12th God Tier: Bard of Blood

Bard is the Passive Class of destruction. Bards are known to “deconstruct” their Aspect or through their Aspect, both literally and figuratively. A Bard of Blood, specifically, would challenge themselves a lot, always defying the rules of their Aspect, which for Blood can mean they would estrange themselves from the people who care for them, escape from situations they feel comfortable in, etc. In general, they are estranged from their Aspect itself. It’s a complicated relationship to their Aspect because they are destroying it, even if passively, so this Bard’s challenge would be being taken away by Blood, expressing it way too much, believing they are too into relationships to the point where they abandon them, believing if they are too comfortable they must withdraw, and other situations of the sort.

I've made some slight hints toward it in my writing already and have only now worked up the courage to share it in full hjdkfg so- I'm kinda playing on a general DCA headcanon i have that DCA models mainly Sun and Moon ones need counterparts in order to basically function. Because that is how they were designed, two halves of a whole that were made to exist together.

So a Sun needs their Moon and a Moon their Sun. Or a Moon their Moon or a Sun their Sun. Eclipse's included! The main point is there's gotta be two (or more) DCA models who are 'imprinted' or 'bonded' in order to properly function (Ruin would be mostly exempt ofc due to the two being one)

NOW WHERE DOES RAYS COME INTO PLAY HERE? So as i rambled about on A03 in the comments of Canary and Crow, i had a headcanon that Rays had 'imprinted' onto Lord Eclipse because, he is technically a Sun who lost his counterpart, that being Moon. So baby Rays, fresh and new sees Eclipse - possibly still a DCA model himself before changing his form - and automatically imprints onto him!

And this ends up carrying over to KB Eclipse and again, possibly Veil too because they are both of the same/similar ai that Rays own code has logged as being his natural other half (and counterpart relations can be whatever really, siblings, friends, family, partners whatever but ofc in this situation its 100% family or siblings)

And this is why i've written Rays to be so attached to Eclipse and why he seeks his company first and foremost when he feels lonely. And again this could later extend to Veil too! (Because i have not forgotten that oneshot where Rays comforts Veil and mourns with him that broke me Shep IT BROKE ME- /pos)

I could defiantly see Veil “imprinting” on Rays as a sort of younger brother, for sure! Veil has a lot of emotions that he doesn’t understand and Rays being so gentle and patient with him would really give him brownie points in Veil’s eyes.

The drabble with Rays and Veil mourning was meant to be a sort of introduction into how both of them are accepting that vulnerable side of themselves that they’ve tried to ignore for so long, which would foster a sense of security for Veil since he’s still learning how to let people in (he’s still ahead of Eclipse on that one though LMAO) and accept that he’s ALLOWED to be different from Eclipse. He is, quite obviously, a lot more open-minded than Eclipse is. He may not ENJOY negative emotions, but he’s willing to learn and experience them in order to become a better person.

Eclipse…is not.

The main difference between Veil and Eclipse is that Veil is actively trying to better himself, while Eclipse is doing it without realizing and still has violent, sociopathic urges that others use as reasons to avoid him or discredit the progress he HAS made. Except for Rays, which is why Eclipse has a certain fondness for him, and tries to reign in his frightening tendencies in order to stay on his “good side.”

Rays knows Eclipse is struggling with something, but is too afraid to push it or ask questions.

Eclipse wants to do better for Rays, so he keeps his problems to himself in order to avoid scaring him.

Veil wants to understand himself in order to prove he can be different from Eclipse.

It all goes in cycles between the three, which is why their dynamic is going to be so interesting and unique when their arc begins later on, after Veil is introduced into the main storyline.

Abuela/Alma: Ris somehow is very comforted and very intimidated by her at the same time. she’s the first person that seemed to understand Ris on a deeper level, and they’ll be forever grateful that she allowed them to stay in the enca/nto. But also she passes by and Ris immediately stands up straighter and becomes very respectful, does that make sense agkskg

Julieta: Ris wants her approval sooooo bad, they really admire her and they’d never admit it but she’s like the mom they never had

Agustin: Ris loves this guy, they joke around together a lot and I like to imagine he starts to teach them how to play the piano, also he’s like the dad they never had

Pepa: out of all the parents Ris and Pepa get along the best!! Whenever Pepa is feeling stressed/sad and gets stuck in the rain, Ris likes to sit with her and they just sort of feel sad together, if that makes sense, Ris also goes to Pepa for advice a LOT

Felix: Ris and Felix are the same type of laid back and go with the flow, so they get along great!! they’re also both jokesters and have a talent for bringing out the playfulness in people, I like to think Felix teaches Ris how to dance (they’re awful at it but they’re trying!!)

Bruno: are they best friends? brothers? uncle and niece or father and kid? all and none at the same time!! they’re very much found family but not in any specific way, they just mean a lot to each other and that’s that, Ris and Bruno bond over their OCD tendencies for SURE, and Bruno is the first one to suggest that maybe Ris’ power can bring comfort too

Isabela: gay people! 🎉 but for real they’re both very much creatives and bond over that, they enjoy parallel play with each other a LOT, they just find a lot of comfort and happiness being around each other and like seeing the world through each others eyes!! they’re also both the Last To Know about their feelings for each other, the siblings/cousins make this elaborate scheme to get them to realize they’re in love and it somehow works

Dolores: Ris gets easily embarrassed around her cause they feel like she Knows too much about them, but one time Dolores hears them singing (it’s their secret talent and they don’t like to sing around people) and she asks them about it and they have a heart to heart, after that they both think the other is just a sweetheart

Luisa: Ris relates to Luisa SO HARD, both feeling like they just have to keep a lid on everything and always be the reliable stable one, I think Ris takes on a bit of a big sibling role for her, providing her a space to be angry or sad or tired, I think Luisa looks up to them a lot

Camilo: I think Ris and Camilo love to cause trouble together, I think he sees them as The Cool Older Cousin and they’re one of the few people who can scold him and actually make an impression sgjskg, also he helps his dad teach Ris to dance (they need all the help they can get)

Mirabel: Ris thinks Mirabel’s connection to Casita is sooooo cool, and they’re the first person to suggest that the house chose her as Alma’s successor and the next matriarch, Mirabel thinks Ris is super cool and is one of the main people to help them explore their power more, but she thinks Ris and Isa’s crush on each other is obnoxious sgjskg

Antonio: Ris LOVES kids and gets along with Antonio really well!! they listen to him chatter on about animal facts, and Antonio helps them get comfortable with touch/contact again! Hollyleaf has arguably the "best" reaction. I mean no one is really happy - I mean after all you're brought up to believe something is true ever since you were apprentice and honestly you're pretty shell shocked. Still, Hollyleaf is a very loyal cat and while sad she's not one of the chosen, she believes there has to be a reason then. Her part to play isn't like her brothers, and while that's hard, she believes she has a purpose of her own. She's the quickest to raise her head and accept the truth, remaining an ally to Jayfeather and Lionblaze, as well as the others, all the same.

Flametail on the other hand definitely has the worst reaction. You see Flametail has been the black sheep pretty much all of his life. Littlecloud doesn't trust him, he's already spending all this time trying to prove himself to StarClan, and he's always been unable to carry the weight that Dawnpelt and Tigerheart have been able to. It's no secret he's the weak link amongst the group of twelve that gather, so being told he really isn't one of them just absolutely crushes him. He's bitter and feels like StarClan spat in his face and confirmed he will really amount to nothing. This hurts especially so as he begins to wonder if they were personally punishing him when his childhood friend Owlpaw was killed accidentally by Lionpaw at the time. That had already been incredibly hard to get over as he really tries to push it aside for the sake of "the prophecy" and understanding due to Lionblaze's now understood power, his sense of control was not there. This revelation really does change everything for Flametail...

Harespring feels like he's wasted his time. He feels dismissed, as this has all taken him away from WindClan. During this time he has had WindClan practically on his shoulders, as in this rewrite Onestar's relation to Darktail is revealed far earlier, during the midst of Power of Three timeline wise. With trust shaken, Harespring isn't even deputy and he's being a source of comfort for his mother and clan, being the bridge that keeps everyone tied together. He's very loyal to his father, but even he is disappointed and worn down by learning of his relationship back in the forest. Having the truth of the prophecy reveals has him pull away from just about everyone, even his siblings, so he can focus entirely on his father and WindClan. This doesn't go unnoticed though, as it does ultimately lead to him being promoted as deputy after Ashfoot was murdered. He turns this disappointment from the truth into determination ultimately.

Finally there is Willowshine, who like Flametail has always felt slightly left out from her siblings Minnowtail and Pebblefoot due to their different mothers and her father, Reedwhisker, ultimately choosing to have nothing to do with her in favor of Minnowtail and Pebblefoot. The RiverClan trio really do look past this, though there are those occurrences that shake Willowshine's trust, and this is a final nail in the coffin for her. It felt as if StarClan confirmed she wasn't true family to the siblings she loved so much, and if the greater heavens didn't see that, then why should she believe her siblings? At this point she's also become privy to Minnowtail's secret relationship with Mousewhisker of ThunderClan, and believes ultimately they were destined to grow apart as siblings. She begins to take on a more business relationship with Pebblefoot and Minnowtail, the affection she showed for them becoming dull and lifeless as she focuses instead on being what she was - RiverClan's medicine cat.

So like I love angst and so do many of your followers I bet too since many of the asks sent are angst related so like this headcanon isn't applying to just one sheep, it can apply to whoever but I feel that this could apply to young shroud, the Lil rose, and little schoenheit, mainly shroud.

If you have ever read land of the lustrous, you'd be amazed and deeply saddened in the change in the Mc, phos. Not that the characterization is bad or anything, it's just depressing. I want phos to be happy, to no longer fear burdened, I just want them to smile again. Phos once was a ray of sunshine, always smiling, naive, curious, and had a need to be useful to their siblings. Then as the story progresses, so does phos, she becomes so unfamiliar it feels another person but it's still them. Even after all that change, it's still them.

These panels here show just one character, Phos. Her from when the series first began all the way to her 3rd-5th change in like chapter 70+ (rough estimate)

That brings me to my main point. In these panels we see phos seeing a hallucination of their former self. Phos doesn't recognize herself, she has become something completely different from her former years that she didn't even know who that gem was. Phos has lost themselves in the pursuit of their goal.

I imagine that you intended for the young shroud to be a joyous, smart child, one with a life full happiness ahead of them. Curious they are, eager to know all there is to possibly comprehend. Just perhaps they were too Curious that it drove everyone away after an incident that tipped them over.

"I didn't know! What was I supposed to do!?! WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO!?"

After being blamed for the death of their beloved brother, you mentioned that they shut themselves away working to bring him back from the dead, though, with a few...changes.

This goal of theirs was must. It must be accomplished no matter what, for his sake. Shroud is willing to sacrifice their soul, mind, and body if it means ortho comes back. No matter what.

Timeskip to when they overblot cause their story ain't finish.

I just feel it hit real hard if we get a scene similar to the panels I shown. Perhaps they're in a point in their overblot that even if Lil shroud is saved, they won't come out completely intact. They lose maybe a part of their body or mind and they don't even know it. I just what goes on the heads of those who overblot. Will the Little shroud even realize what they're doing to their brothers? Their friends?

Make it hurt more if that they destroy ortho's mechanical body, losing him just as they did all those years ago. Would they even know that they did that to their beloved brother? Perhaps the young shroud is far to gone emotionally that the words of their loved ones can't reach their heart.........

"Who are those children?"

Perhaps their overblot reqches a tipping point where their mind begins to run through all possible memories to figure out a way to save them from ending their story far too soon. That child still has a lot to live for. And just maybe their mind lands on a memory from when they were a child, before the passing of their younger brother, when it was just idia, ortho, and them. A memory from when they were still naive and unknowing of many things in their world, when they had no understanding of loss.

"That......that child there?"

They wouldn't recognize the children in scene as they observe a far as a fourth person. Disassociating themselves from who they once were. And as the first year observes the children playing in a white out facility, one catches their attention. A child with eyes full of curiosity and wonder. An innocence held their eyes glistened under the artificial light. The child laughed and grinned as they ran around with their brothers.

"Oh...that child is....that child....th....oh god..."

"How could I ever I blame you?"

The first I bet when the young shroud ever fell in love was after meeting their baby brother first time. They meet a baby full of purity, a wonder and greatest curiosity gifted to their life. They would protect and teach him all there is to know in this world.

They second time they fell in love was at this moment of realization. How could they ever that child, blame them for the death of their brother? They were young, unknowing, how could a child naive as them ever grasp the terror of those monsters? How could that child know?

I feel that shroud would approach the mirage of their former self and just kneel and cry. Just cry and cry as they ask themselves how they could ever hate such an innocent child. How does one hate a child as naive as them? How? Just how? What was the point of loathing an existence so pure and kind as that child? How could they ever hate themselves?

The consequences for an overblot as severe as theirs I feel would lead to life long physical consequences. Like losing the ability to walk, hear, or see, something. But that would be find with them. They can cry and cry all they want and that in itself is a gift for they, for the first time in years, fell in love once more.

esp lil shroud with the new chapter for their fic, the way that they don't recognize themselves fits the part when lil shroud goes up onto the upper floors. ofc, they still recognize its them in the fic but after the experiment, there is a possibility they wouldnt.

for an overblot, maybe that's how they get saved from the overblot? because they get so distracted by the realization that this pure innocent child is them and they've practically killed them would probably be enough to drag them out of the overblot, or at least enough for the others to help them :((

100% lil shroud first fell in love (platonically ofc) when ortho was brought home for the first time. id say idia probably felt the same when lil shroud and ortho both came home :))

as for who lil shroud was before ortho's death, yes, they were meant to be this pure, curious child that would have definitely been an influence on ortho's personality. but because of his death and lil shroud's banishment, that child disappeared D:

maybe, if their parents didn't do what they did, lil shroud would have still been that child. who knows?

It's not like Olivia pass up an adventure by not going with Charlie, which is interesting. Is this character development? Did the shock of what happened to Tancred make her more wary of danger? Or is her loyalty to Emma and staying with her most important? Regardless, getting help is probably the smartest option.

I didn't mention about it in the last installement, but I am very curious about this servant race of small, humanoid creatures that appears to exist in Badlock. I want to know more about where they came from and how they got "enslaved". I'm sure if you looked into it too deeply you'd find a plethora of deeply racist implications, but I don't have the energy for that and it's a kids' book... so I'm just going to take them at face value. I hope they get free one day.

The simplest way I can describe Pinks relationship with his mother is "it was great until it wasn't" Basically Pink's mother was his everything, his role model, his support system, his cheerleader. They had a great relationship. But in his teen years, due to his father leaving, she fell into severe depression and became very cold and neglectful, and she rarely left her room. With the older siblings working jobs to feed them, this left Pink to take care of the younger siblings almost entirely on his own. He did all the cooking and cleaning etc etc. He never held any resentment towards his mother and felt bad for her, even now he doesn't blame her for how she treated them in those years and will deny that she was ever neglectful. "She never meant to, it wasn't her fault"

Speaking of his father. Fuck that guy!! He was very abusive to both Pink and his mother, until one day he just didn't come home. Pinks father at the time of Pink knowing him was a semi successful business owner, he was rarely home and when he was it was expected to not bother him. After he left he would go on to become more rich and successful. However bro does die and leaves a good chunk of money to his wife, who moves to the city to be less isolated, leaving the farmhouse to Pink.

As for non biological???

I'm definitely gonna say Cupid's mother. Cupid's mother was good friends with Pink's and tried to do all for Pink that she couldn't. If things were really bad at home, Pink would get sent to "have a sleepover" with them for a few days. She bought him birthday and Christmas presents, she fed him and sent him home with food. He would make gifts for her in exchange. This all happened while he was a child and he was mostly oblivious to the fact that what was going on at home wasn't normal and that he was being sent away, not for fun silly times with Cupid, but to get him away from the house. He could see that Cupid's home life was very different from his, but he just assumed it was cuz besties rich. Obviously once Cupid turned on Pink he lost both his contact with Cupid's mother and the safe space at their home.

I'm also gonna say @kissingonclouds oc Dimitry, who was Pink's highschool Medical Biology teacher. He checked in on Pink best he could and let him rest in the teachers lounge, giving him tea and telling him stories. (I'd also include Father Evangeline in this for similar reasons, but to a lesser extent since Pink pulled away from him once the bullying got really bad due to the fact he's related to Cupid)

When faced with triggering or even just rude/mean comments, Pink tends to close off, get cold and blunt. Talking to upset Pink is like talking to a brick wall, more likely to boil into slight aggression than tears. However if faced with behavior, speaking patterns, visual similarities, or even scents that remind him of Cupid, he may spiral to the point of tears. At first he may just get tense and defensive, he's very quick to accuse whoever is stirring up those memories of being our to hurt him. But in a confused frustration, and guilt of lashing out, he usually starts crying shortly after. During these periods his behavior makes no sense to most people so it's hard to say who knows of this. I'd say Hobo probably has at least some idea.

And on a more wholesome note it is INSANELY easy to make Pink cry from affection or words of affirmation. Like much MUCH easier than making him cry upset tears. You could hug this guy and he'd be a sobbing mess. Told him you're proud of him??? That you love him??? Yeah bros on the ground in a puddle of his own tears.

That he still cares for Cupid, that deep down subconsciously he still sees him as his best friend, that despite it being triggering he actively seeks out anything to remind him of him. He has one of his posters, he listens to his music.
