y'all are cute, i guess.
ok so we all know that will basically has the ability to sense danger, particularly "upside-down related danger", which means he knows if the mind flayer is around, or vecna is hurt or the demo-creatures and things.
but after S4 finale, it's obvious that this other world has started to bleed into the real one. which means with time, the creatures and monsters and vecna can appear in the true hawkins.
then doesn't that mean that will can sense the danger at a higher scale? his connection with the upside down means the more the UD world intermixes with hawkins, the more his power to sense danger will grow. it can be seen by his final dialogue to mike in S4 as well:
"now that im here, in hawkins, i can feel him. and he's hurt, but he's still alive. and he's not going to stop, ever, not until he's taken everything and everyone." (i hope i remembered this correctly).
he's able to feel vecna's thoughts and emotions, and it's obvious that his power has grown as he couldn't feel the mind flayer like this back in S3 (he just knew when he was around). calling back to S2, he could feel the mind flayer and knew that "he doesn't want to kill me, but everyone else."
in a nutshell, will can not only detect danger, he can also know the THOUGHTS of the danger. he couldn't do this in S3 (as the UD and hawkins were separate then), but in S2 (the tunnels under hawkins) and S4 (the four gates in the finale).
so what if this leads to him knowing the thoughts and feelings of not only UD creatures, but people in hawkins too? what if everyone who has been to UD has a sort of slight connection to it and since will's powers have grown (since the two worlds have collided), he can sense them too? what if on a random day, as everyone is gearing up for the final battle, will starts hearing voices in his head, and they keep getting louder and it hurts, and he hates it.
and soon a voice says "i hope will is okay" and he, confused and hurt, unknowingly answers "yeah im fine" and stops, looks up to see mike, who is startled because how did will just answer a question that he had just thought of?
you know … judging by how surprised he seemed when logan got up after being shot, i don’t think john knew logan had a healing factor. i think that when he watched logan get shot in the head and go down, he genuinely thought he’d been killed and that him, bobby, and rogue were on their own. that they were next. he’d known bobby long enough and well enough to know that he wouldn’t use his powers against cops and he didn’t think much of rogue or her abilities at this point. so. logan’s dead, storm and jean are who knows where, and they’re surrounded by cops that have already proven they’re willing to use deadly force without any provocation. he figures he’s the only chance they have of getting out alive. so what does he do? he takes matters into his own hands and he leans into the media stereotype about dangerous mutants ( and in the process, learns something about himself that maybe he shouldn’t have ).
