Things about Varl that keep me awake

How he's so kind, he tries so hard to think from everyone's perspective when encountering new things

The bond he has with Aloy, she can depend on him for a lot and thats saying something coming from Aloy who tries to do everything alone

How sad he sounded when he talked about the old world burning down the Amazon rainforest looool

The freaking banter he has with Erend, when along the lines he said to Erend "You're just a ray of sunshine aren't you" and Erend was like "Only for you"

He's never worried to bring along another person to the base, Aloy calls him to bring the new person to the gang and he's all for it no hesitation.

He makes anybody open up, he noticed Aloy just losing her shit and asked about Rost and Aloy wanted to talk about it again. Beta likes talking to him because she said he actually wanted to know about her.

He's just such a sweet dude all around and everything he says burns into my mind (i'm gonna make a fic where his fate is changed after I finish the main story)

Just Zo things

You know Kotallo saying that he finds it odd thinking about Utaru as fighters until Aloy says she had her own battle with the Carja, his response was like daaaaaaammnn

Erend misjudging Zo until fighting with her and nearly dying because he underestimated how fast she is.

Zo was the one who gave Erend that Machine Strike game that Erend enjoys, as well as Kotallo, the fighting machine.

Zo saying she's been trying to feed Beta Utaru food to help her

Zo talking about never being able to get rid of the smell of death (god when she told that story I was so fascinated)

Zo making the base feel more at home and everyone following suit. She's a home maker not a home wrecker. Nearly cried when I saw Aloy's room.

Zo, the one to care that robots should have rights (jk idk I just love how the machines who help her she wants to take care of them. She just wants to take care of everyone and I think that is very sweet)
