I think Michael usually refers to himself as a single entity, although his attitude towards his current condition is complicated. Sometimes he feels like he is now a roommate in his own body. Sometimes he feels like his mind had been altered, intertwined with something and his thoughts and desires are not entirely his, and sometimes - like his current state is natural and fulfilling in an impossible way.

In any case, he will never be alone again.

don't really have a favourite artwork (though I am kinda proud of the amout of comic work I did way back when) but favourite AU? definitely Monarchy Restoration. forever my favourite with the combination of renaissance fashion, fairytale-like aesthetics and the sheer fucked-up-ness of the c!DTeam's relationships
