#i only ever talk about this so much because i've invested so much time just to be let down a LOT
My Two Cents on the People Magazine Article (and Elriel coming home!)
I'm sure this has already been dissected to death and I am potentially late to the game here (I only just saw the article this morning!) but I would like to share some thoughts and insight!
While by no means am I saying this to claim I am *the* expert of all experts, I would like to share that my background and previous career was in entertainment. My twenties were spent in Los Angeles, and (some of you other current or previous LA/New Yorker's may identify with this) you really learn how the sausage gets made and exactly how much money, planning, and prep goes into what we are meant to perceive as "natural." I don't mean to take the shine off of it! Just sharing my experiences. I can't share everything because some of my friends were under NDA's at the time of their employment, so I'll just give a brief overview.
Example: Late Night talk shows and many other major "live" productions that have "live" interviews are, well, not actually live. They typically film in the early afternoon even if they are set designed to look like its nighttime. And while it is in front of a "live" audience, the audience is instructed on when to clap, when to laugh, ect. This is because the interview has already been planned out, and questions approved ahead of time. This is why, even though it seems totally fresh, there are things the "host" received ahead of time. For example, all of the baby pictures and sweet photos of Sarah and Josh and then all of the staged "walking and talking photos" for the MASSIVE Today Show interview and article. And yes, this is the article where we got this absolute banger:
That "felt" like a live interview followed up with a giant article to accompany it, but was actually a full on pre-planned production. Seriously massive for Sarah. And if there's time, you can even do multiple takes and use the best shot for the "live" show. I've seen people comment on thinking Sarah seemed "not excited" in that interview and she was worried HoFaS would bomb, but I'm telling you guys, I don't think she has ever that much pressure or "lights, camera, action" on her before compared to her usual casual "chat" style interviews. Babes was nervous, and she crushed it.
Now to breakdown the new People Magazine article:
This article is being presented as "Everything You Need to Know" aka "we are your trusted resource on all things Sarah J. Mass."
People Magazine, while serving as your "trusted resource" for the world of ACOTAR, would not say the protagonists of ACOTAR are the sisters for zero reason whatsoever. What's interesting is both Lucien and Azriel get small nods, but very little otherwise and zero mention of the ship. Just Elain, baybee dolls. This further cements that this designed to portray the Archeron sisters as the leads of the series.
Now, taking a look at the author of this article to see if she specializes in anything, she really doesn't. Miss ma'am writes about everything under the sun!
She also did the Ultimate Guide to Emily Henry's books. (Major Emily Henry Stan over here. Who is dying for Funny Story to come out?!)
This is a Northwestern University journalism grad who has been with People for a few years. She certainly understands what it is that needs to come from these articles, and that is interest, clicks, money, and trust.
There is simply no reason for major networks like Today and People to invest in these thorough and in depth articles and interviews, on screen and on page, with Sarah and continue to hint towards Elain or questioning the mating bond if it will serve no purpose in improving their reputation or generating interest in the plot of the books. That is simply not how this works, and is antithetical to keeping the gears of these machines well oiled and functioning as intended.
If you read this whole thing, wow! You are an MVP. With nothing but respect to you all, I'm not sure how long I will keep this post up or how much I am willing to talk about my time in LA. I unfortunately had some experiences I am still recovering from and already feel a bit anxious putting this much information about myself out there. But for those who catch it, I hope you enjoy and can feel comforted that this is all a part of the plan. There's a reason you see repeats of themes and conversations in all her articles. It's because they are pre-planned and executed with the goal of reputation and selling books in mind.
*** Thanks to Sara Anne (@SaraAnneReads on Tiktok) who shared her insight from working on the marketing team for a magazine in 2019 that adverts have to share if an article is paid for in someway, no matter how small. Thus I have removed my statement on *this* article potentially being part of their paid marketing budget, as there is no indicator of that on the article itself which is required by law.
However, this could be what is called "Earned Media" where a marketing/publicity rep for SJM and/or Bloomsbury *could* have reached out to people magazine and basically said hey, if you want to write about this, we have an announcement coming up soon so it could be relevant and worth talking about. To which the rep for People would say to the rep for SJM, hey, thank you so much for the heads up. There is no exchange of goods or currency and no promise verbally or in writing to do the article so the ethics stay above board, but all parties benefit from earned media. Sarah's team has now earned additional buzz for the upcoming story, and a news outlet has articles out on a trending topic. However, earned media does not have to be disclosed and therefore we have NO way of knowing if this occurred here or not!
She also shared with me People's statement of integrity where People state's their high standard for ethical practices and journalistic credibility and accountability. (I mean we know they are the kings and queens of "a reliable source close to the individual," but still)
She also caught with her eagle eye that Bloomsbury explicitly states the detailed marketing plan once books are announced, including details like year-long social media campaign, arc readers, ECT. So with Sarah already posting about the next ACOTAR, we can safely assert that is part of the existing laid out marketing plan, and assume additional articles surrounding ACOTAR are all to further generate buzz.
Analysis: Elain's book announcement is coming SOON and marketing is already underway!

How do you deal with insecurity in a polyam relationship?
I've been in a poly V before, with my girlfriend at the time, and her other partner; but I honestly wasn't really invested in the relationship so I wasn't bothered.
I feel like,, if I have a partner and we either a) accept another and form a triad or b) I end up with a metamour again, I would end up worrying that my parner(s) would leave me to simply be together.
(For context, I have AvPD so like... abandonment is a complex of mine and I'm working on it but I'm still so insecure a lot of the time.)
So.. yeah. I've seen you address jealousy/envy, and I know I'd probably deal with a bit of that (in the sense that 'oh, b gets to spend time with c while I'm at work, I'm envious' kind of way) but I know that insecurity would be the thing that would bother me the most
Polysecure by Jessica Fern is generally considered a holy text 🛐of polyamory and this exact question in particular. I haven't read it personally (yet. Its on my list my list is just long 😅) So if you haven't given that a go yet, everyone I know who has read it, has recommended at least sections of it. I know it talks about attachment styles and how to handle those, which might be helpful if you have avoidant personality disorder.
The other thing, of course, is consider bringing this up with a therapist, because I am not one. And this seems like a touchy enough topic that everything I say here is pulled from my experience and should be taken as "ideas to think about🤔" and not "clinical advise that will Fix It🪄" As per usual, LOTS to go over here. So. read more.
P.S. after typing up everything, I realized this post I wrote to help a supportive partner address insecurity might also be helpful for you, and even has a worksheet! Its probably better formatted too. So.. maybe I wasted my typing here 😓. C'est la vie.
Firstly, you never said you identify as polyamorous. So if you're not... you could just date monogamously 🤷 as much as I love 💟polyamory and would like it if the whole world loved it too, if that's gonna be too big a thing for you, there's no reason you have to bother at all.
If you are going to date polyamorously for whatever reason, BEFORE you introduce another person to the mix, have a regular, set time you and your partner spend apart. It sounds counter-intuitive, but maintaining your own social life and identity outside your partner is huge. Do this especially when you're super invested and want to spend every second with your partner. That's honestly true whether you're poly or not, but in this specific case. I think a lot of the fear is bolstered by the idea that without you there, your partner is just spending that time loving the other person. And maybe they'd like to do that more blah blah blah. But this proves that's not the case: when you're not there, you partner is getting drinks with the girls, or building model ships, or any other numerous things they like independent of you. And it also means you're not just pining over your partner when you're gone, you have other shit to do too. And you'll come to look forward to your two hours a week at the coffee shop (or whatever). You will learn reasonable time apart does not equal less romantic interest.
And then, on the flip side of that, set regular protected time with your partner. Not to say never ever will something come up that interrupts that. Emergencies arise🚨, or the time may have to be renegotiated later, etc etc. But having the confidence that no matter what, you'll have a movie date every week, or that Tuesday night is Romance Night, or whatever you decide on, can make it easier. It can help prevent you feeling taken for granted, and can naturally curb NRE with other people if that starts getting unruly. If your partner starts wanting to cut into this time for not-important-shit, tell them you're not okay with that, or -- and only if truly it feels okay to you -- at least get them to make the time up the next day. And you, of course, need to treat it as special too. Make the time important, fulfilling, and intimate. It can be any activity, as long as its bonding time -- quality time, in the truest sense of the word.
Take time to get to know yourself, and share it with your partner. What do you consider to be sacred between you and your partner? Are you okay with your meta and your partner having sacred things -- what type of things? Do you feel better knowing the details of your partner's other relationships, or will that make you more jealous? (I like knowing more, because the thought of my partner having this secret life without me makes me more insecure, but other people are very reasonably of the opinion that hearing that their partner had so much fun without them is a bummer.) How much about you are you okay with your partner dilvulging to your meta(s)? Go through this on as many things as you can think of. Now, what you're comfortable with is not the only factor here; you and your partner will probably both have to make some concessions to reach something workable, but I've found that process, with a good partner, to be more securing in and of itself. You both are working together towards a common understanding. Its generally good practice to avoid hard-and-fast rules here, when possible. For example, "I'm only okay with you dating others if you're home by 11🕚 every night" makes some sense, but if taken literally means if your partner gets a flat on the way home, or has to deal with your meta's mental breakdown, or even just wants to see a movie that won't finish until 11:05 -- that's a betrayal. Perhaps even just asking for a one-time allowance is a betrayal. Instead, work for understandings or guidelines. Maybe the similar understanding in this example is "its hard for me to sleep alone, so I'd like you to generally be home by 11:00, and notify me as soon as possible if that's not going to happen" and then when they bring up wanting to stay out late one night for something, you can ask if its possible for them to do it on a night you don't have to work in the morning (maybe they can, maybe they can't, the point here is that its a dialogue, see below). There will be some trial and error here, so be prepared for that and stick it out.
Don't take every problem as a sign things are doomed, or your partner is divesting, or your partner isn't worth your investment. There will be times when someone is actually abusive, or there will be irreconcilable differences. I'm not talking about those. I'm talking about "My partner is late for the second time this week, they're pulling away from me, this is the beginning of the end"-type shit. No it ain't. A good exercise for this is to explicitly outline your worst-case scenario💣, followed by a best case-scenario🌈, and then a few most likely cases⬜. So from our example above, worst case is that they're pulling away (so you have to pull away faster so you "win" and avoid pain), best case-scenario is that they're late because they're buying you a gift on their way home, and most likely scenario is that traffic's worse than they planned or they ran into someone at the gas station and stopped to talk for a bit or whatever.
Figure out how to self-soothe. Make a stache of nice things your partner has done for you that you can check on your own to remind yourself you're important to them. Reframe some of your jealous worries. Remind yourself of things you're looking forward to with your partner. Make a vent journal. Whatever clicks to you.
And as always, 🗣️talk to your partner. Productively talk to your partner.🗣️ Talk to your partner as much as possible about how things make you feel, and make sure they're doing the same. I talk more about how to talk through problems here, and its worth the read imho (even though its equally long). But for now, know that forming this habit on its own is functionally indistinguishable from being securely attached. As long as the communication is you and your partner vs the problem (and not, for example, your insecurity vs your partner's willingness to compromise), this will be good for the relationship, and you will feel better for doing it. But to form that habit, you have to do it with everything, not just Big Problems. You have to tell your partner sincerely how much you appreciate stuff they're getting right, you have to tell them about small problems that you can handle on your own, you have to tell them about things you're not sure how you feel about yet.

It's a bit shorter, but we need some variation in life, don't we? Let me know your thoughts! It's not proofread, so be aware for any minor mistakes, if there are some. Lots of loveeee. Don't forget to send in requests! I love all the requests I've gotten so far 🫶🏼
‘’What kind of snacks do you want?’’ You asked your boyfriend as you were preparing some somewhat healthy snacks before he would go live on Twitch. You were filling up a bowl with Maltesers because, let’s be honest, who doesn’t like those? You then decided to grab a knife and cut the cheese and cucumber to make the tray snacks somewhat healthier.
‘’Can you lay on the tray?’’ Lando wrapped his arms around your waist from behind, causing you to tilt your head when he planted soft kisses on your neck. ‘’You already had that snack not too long ago, mister Norris.’’ You teased, keeping your eyes closed as you felt his hands making its way under your shirt, close to your bra.
‘’Nah, ah.’’ You put down the knife and took both his hands in yours, moving them down and placing them on your hips before reaching back for the knife. Your action caused him to groan, and you simply smirked as you felt how much he needed you, because let’s be honest here, it was impossible to not feel him through his jeans.
‘’Grapes, mango?’’ You continued, focussing back on the tray of deliciousness in front of you. ‘’Chocolate covered strawberries.’’ He replied, walking to the fridge. ‘’Yeah, ehm, about those…’’ You bite your lip as you looked over at the – way too perfect – McLaren driver, who happened to be your boyfriend.
‘’No, you ate them?’’ He asked, turning 45 degrees to look at you with puppy eyes. ‘’Oh stop it! You ate my piece of cake the other day!’’ You laughed, feeling his hands on your body as he tickled you. ‘’Lando! Stop!’’ You managed to breathe out in between your laughter.
‘’You ate my strawberries!’’ He exclaimed; his arms wrapped tightly around you as you tried to somehow escape his grasp. But he was strong, of course he was, he was a Formula One driver.
Talking about his job, you were proud of him. The two of you had been dating for a few years now, the world only finding out in your 3rd year of dating each other. You had no idea how because you never purposely tried to be secret about it. You never went out in public, never really posted about one another on your socials, either. You only really started doing that when people noticed your relationship.
You were almost done with your degree now, though. Meaning you had more time to come to some of his races. You loved going there, not only to support your boyfriend, but also to learn about all the behind the scenes of the sport. It was something that fascinated you ever since you started dating Lando.
However, you tried to stay out of the camera’s as much as you could. You never held hands when you walked through the paddock with him; if you walked through the paddock with him. Most of the time you arrived after he did because you either had to finish some online work in the hotel room, or because you wanted to stay out of the spotlight.
You never really enjoyed being in front of the camera’s, hence why you were so invested in all the behind-the-scenes stuff. It wasn’t because you weren’t confident enough, not at all, because you were, and that’s something Lando always admired about you, especially when you started to receive hate. You just never thought being in front of the camera suited you, those cameras around you, people asking questions, it just annoyed you, and you decided you didn’t want to take a part of it.
It didn’t mean you never supported him, though. You were always there for him, and he knew. He never complained, he never told you you weren’t supportive, no. He loved how your relationship was different than the ones from all the other WAGS, he felt like he wasn’t sharing you with the entire world, that you were just his, and that’s exactly how you felt, too.
‘’Good evening chat! Long-time no see, ey?’’ You heard Lando’s smile through the words he just spoke, waving at the camera as he leaned back in his chair. He glanced over at you, his eyes gliding over you before quickly shooting you a wink. You laughed and rolled your eyes at his action, simply knowing the chat would comment on his wink.
‘’I’m good, enjoying the off season as much as I can.’’ He smirked. ‘’Aren’t we, babe?’’ He asked and you got up, looking at him with a raised eyebrow. ‘’I for sure am.’’ You winked before walking to the kitchen to get your snacks.
You always were seated outside of the camera’s view. As much as you loved staying out of the cameras at the track, you did the same whenever he streamed. You never did it purposely, though. You never hid away from the cameras; you simply never purposely were in front of them.
‘’Grabbing snacks!’’ You yelled from the kitchen when you heard Lando read the comments. ‘What’s Y/N doing?’ and ‘Where’s your girlfriend going?’
‘’She’s getting snacks, chat. You won’t believe it, but we actually prepared those for tonight.’’ He smirked, sipping his water as he read through the comments. ‘’We?’’ You asked, raising an eyebrow with a smile. ‘’Right, sorry chat, my lovely girlfriend Y/N prepared the snacks.’’ He said, watching you placing the tray of delicious food in front of him.
‘’I’m just missing one snack on here, but sadly there’s not enough room on the tray for that.’’
‘OMG HE DID NOT JUST SAY THAT’
‘HAHAHAHA Lando naughty naughty boy’
‘DUUUUUUDE LANDO WHAT LMAO’
You sat down next to him, your legs over his as you grabbed a Malteser from the tray. ‘’You’re very original with your jokes tonight, Norris.’’ You smirked, reaching for your phone before you opened TikTok, keeping yourself entertained when Lando continued his stream.
He loved this about you, he loved the fact that even though he was live, streaming and being in front of cameras, you never backed down. You never changed when the cameras were there, you always stayed yourself. That was probably the thing he admired most about you, and things he definitely learned from you.
As the hours went by, the tray of food was nearly empty. You got up a few times to go to the bathroom, get something to drink, get some more snacks and so on. Lando got up to go to the bathroom for the second time this evening, leaving you alone with chat.
You kissed his lips before he left the room, you simply deciding to pop up in front of the camera this time. You read some messages, smiling as they told you you looked beautiful. ‘’Aw, thanks guys, or girls, that’s sweet.’’ You replied, leaning your chin on your hand as you continued reading a few more comments.
The second you heard him coming back in the room, you commented on a question in the chat, Lando sitting next to you with a smile on his face. He loved it when you interacted with his fans, which you sometimes did. It’s not like you were completely offline when it came to the fame he carried with him, you just never really bothered to become an influencer like some others did.
‘’Nah, ah, Norris, they are asking me questions now.’’ You teased, holding your hand up when he started to talk again.
‘HAHA Y/N’s such a vibe’
‘Yeah Lando, we’re chatting with your girl now!’
He simply chuckled, pecking your lips when you looked at him and he then enjoyed the scenery he saw in front of him.
After a while, you got up from your chair, going to the kitchen to refill your glass of water for the fourth time that evening, and made your way back to the room when you heard your boyfriend reading some comments out aloud.
‘Y/N doesn’t love him, she never holds his hand in the paddock, what a supportive WAG.’
You furrowed your eyebrows at that comment, and just as Lando was about to say something to defend you, you put your glass of water on the table in front of you.
‘’Last time I checked, my job title wasn’t ‘WAG’. I’m an engineer, not a runway model.’’
Lando looked at you, amazed, proud, and smiling like an idiot. ‘’You heard her, chat.’’ He smirked. ‘’That’s my girl.’’ He whispered happily.
The end of the stream was nearing, and you got up to head to bed. ‘’Goodnight, babe, I’ll see you in a bit.’’ You whispered before placing a kiss on his lips, smiling against them as he returned the favour. You glanced over at chat one last time, feeling Lando’s hand on the back of your upper leg.
‘’Next time I’ll open the ‘WAGs Handbook’ to catch up on some of my duties.’’ You smirked at the chat. ‘’Goodnight chat, sleep tight.’’ You blew them a kiss before walking out of the room, heading straight to bed.
Not long after you positioned yourself in the king-size bed Lando had in his bedroom, you heard the door opening; your boyfriend making his way to you. ‘’You’re amazing, please never change.’’ He whispered and pressed his lips on yours, firmly.
Later that season

Hope that this was alright for you my love! @bxcketbarnes
CHAN:
It was the first date and it was safe to say that it had gone extremely well for you, at least you'd thought so at the time but as you got closer to your front door and Chan still hadn't kissed you you were beginning to have your doubts. Did he not feel the same sparks that you had felt? Maybe it was all one-sided and he didn't want you anymore. Worries were bubbling up faster as you reached your front door and you unlocked it.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" You questioned, not wanting this to be the last time you ever saw him. Chan's eyes met yours and he nodded with a small smile on his face, his palms sweating profusely as he anxiously watched you. He'd been debating kissing you all night long but he was worried that it would be too fast or maybe that it wasn't the most gentleman-like thing for him to do.
"I'll bring that CD I was talking about," He smiled and you stared at him, neither of you moving away from one another until you finally had enough and kissed him softly. Your hands rested gently on his chest as he stood completely stunned, not kissing you back as your heart sunk a little.
"I-I'm sorry, I thought- Never mind." Your hands jumbled to try and open your front door, trying to get away from Chan as quickly as you could but your efforts were stopped as he placed his hand on top of yours.
"I was shocked, please..." He whispered before turning you around in his arms and gently kissing you. Your lips moved in perfect sync with one another, your hands resting on his chest so you could feel just how hard his heart was racing.
"I'll see you tomorrow, Yn." He smirked a little before you felt your whole body heating up and you headed inside to let out a small squeal of excitement.
MINHO:
Six dates. You'd been on a total of six dates and Minho had yet to even make a move on you besides holding your hand. You were starting to think maybe he didn't like you the way that you'd thought and this was just him looking for a friend. Then the overthinking began to kick in and you worried that you had bad breath, leading you to invest in so much chewing gum and mints you could have owned half of the company by now.
"Is there something wrong with me?" You yelled out as Minho reached his car and you were still standing at your front door watching him leave. Maybe it was rude to yell and a little embarrassing but you were starting to agonise that he was never going to kiss you at this rate.
"What?" He chuckled turning to look at you and frowning when he saw how upset you looked, Minho would move the heavens and the Earth to make sure you'd never be upset and knowing he was the cause of that frightened him.
"You haven't kissed me, do I have bad breath? Do you not like me that way? Because I thought we were dating." You realised how this must have sounded and you were starting to regret opening your mouth as Minho walked closer to you.
"I've been...a little nervous," He admitted, it wasn't easy for him to admit to being scared of something. He was a mafia prince for Christ's sake and he was scared of kissing the person he was dating? It wasn't like him at all.
"You? I didn't think nervous was even in your vocabulary," You joked as he smirked, stepping into your personal space and looking down at you.
"Only ever since I met you," He whispered before you closed the distance between you and kissed him, your heart thumping rapidly as you kissed him gently. There was something intense about it even though it was a gentle kiss, something laying beneath the surface that made you want more.
"Come inside for a hot drink," You suggested, biting your bottom lip and playing with his tie as his cheeks flamed and he nodded at you.
CHANGBIN:
You'd been ranting to your friend about wanting to kiss Changbin for almost a week now, the two of you had been on almost seven dates and he'd not kissed you yet which was a little upsetting. But tonight, you were going to be the one to make the move. It was New Year's eve and you'd been invited to a huge party that he was throwing, a black tie event which was exciting and nerve wracking all at the same time.
"Happy New Year everyone!" Changbin finished his speech into the microphone and made his way over to you as the one-minute countdown began on the huge screens in his office building. You nervously played with the bracelet he'd gotten you for Christmas and stared at him as he made his way toward you.
"Any goals for the new year, Mr Seo?" You teased as he wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you closer to him, his eyes staring into your soul as he smiled to himself.
"To keep you in my life as long as possible Mx Yln." Your body heated up as you heard the countdown begin to drop to single digits, it was now or never. Your mind began to run through everything that could go wrong with you kissing him, what if he didn't want to kiss you yet? What if your breath reeked of the garlic balls you'd been eating?
"three...two...one-" Everyone's yells and your own racing thoughts were drowned out when you felt his lips on yours, the glass that you were holding slipped to the floor but neither of you pulled away at the sound of it shattering. You kissed him back, deeply falling into a deep make-out session as people around you stared in awe. It had been a while since Changbin had found anyone to share his life with and they were thankful he had you.
HYUNJIN:
"Not bad for a third date," Hyunjin winks as he looks at you, you'd been stunned the whole time you'd been with Hyunjin tonight. After your last date, he'd been working hard to get this one perfect for you, not that the others hadn't been perfect but this was something he wanted to be extra special. You'd mentioned in passing how much you'd been wanting to go to the botanical gardens at night time to see the stars under the skylight but there was never an option so he made it one.
The two of you had the whole place to yourselves - and two of Hyunjin's guards but they kept a respectful distance between you all.
"Not bad? Hyunjin this is beautiful," You whispered as you sat down on the blanket that was laid out for you, surrounded by pillows so that the two of you could look up at the sky and be comfortable.
"It really is," He whispered, only he was staring at you instead of the view making your body heat as he sat down beside you, smiling.
"You like this?" He had to admit he was a little worried it was a step down from all of the other extravagant dates but you seemed to enjoy this one a lot more than the others.
"I love this," You whispered before kissing him softly on the lips without thinking. The two of you froze for a second, neither of you moving to pull away nor to deepen the kiss that you were sharing until a beat passed and Hyunjin wrapped his arm gently around you and pulled you closer to him. The kiss deepened as he laid you on top of him and relaxed against the pillows with you, both of you laughing softly against one another's lips as you made out under the stars.
JISUNG:
All night long Jisung had been nervous and you could tell because he was bouncing his leg up and down the whole time you'd been watching the ballet not to mention the gum he was chewing at excessive amounts and beads of sweat were on his forehead.
"Do you have somewhere else you need to be?" You asked as you stepped into the lobby of the theatre, looking at him with a frown on your forehead. If he needed to be somewhere else he could have just been honest with you and said so in the first place.
"No...N-No, No I'm good." The way he stumbled over his words made you frown even more, was he bored of you now? Was he going to make this the last date?
"If you don't want to see me anymore you can just say that...I'd rather you didn't play on my feelings." Jisung stared at you in shock,
"What? Why would you think that?" The nerves slipped away within seconds as he stared at you. The last thing he would ever want is for you to feel as though you aren't wanted, he'd been so nervous about kissing you that he forgot how all of this might have looked to you.
"You've been skittish all night, you look like you'd rather be anywhere else than here and you...you haven't kissed me," You mumbled the last part, suddenly feeling like a kid in school when your crush wouldn't like you back but you were scared that this was all in your head and you were reading his signs wrong.
"Yn." He started but you shook your head, holding up your hand as you cut him off,
"I can take it if you don't like me but I won't be played for a fool if you're toying with me." Suddenly your lips were against his in a heated kiss, something you'd read about in books where fireworks exploded and you were left with a shortness of breath. God, you could have sworn your leg was lifted up,
"I like you a lot, Yn. I've been too nervous to kiss you and tonight I was going to do it..."
"Hence the gum and the bouncing leg." You laughed a little as you stared at him, your eyes shining like diamonds as he leaned down and kissed you once again.
FELIX:
As fourth date went you were pretty happy with this, more than happy but right now Felix seemed to be terrified which you didn't think was possible. Felix was someone you never thought would be scared of anything, not even bullets.
"You okay?" You quizzed as you turned to see your date's eyes screwed shut as he clutched onto the railing of the Ferris wheel the two of you were riding.
"Y-Yeah, Fine. Fine. Everything is fine, are we nearly at the bottom?" He questioned making your heart sink, when you'd begged to go onto the ride you hadn't thought about whether or not he was scared of heights or not. You'd just dragged him onto it,
"Felix. I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were cared of heights." He held onto your hand and slowly looked at you as he smiled weakly.
"You were so excited, I couldn't say no to that." You pouted a little as you looked down, you were still far from the end yet and you smiled back at him.
"Let's do something to take your mind off it," You suggested, looking at him as he nodded slowly at you trying to make as little movement as possible on the ride.
"What would you suggest-" He suddenly stopped as you leaned across and kissed him softly, his hands relaxing in yours as he kissed you back with ease, his mind relaxing as he forgot all about how high he was and focussed on your lips. Moving closer to you on the seat and wrapped his arms around your waist as you deepened the kiss, whimpering a little as you felt the ride come to an end.
"Again," Felix ordered the man, his fear of heights washed away as you began to make out on the ride once again.
SEUNGMIN:
"I'm telling you you can't stack!" Seungmin yelled out as you smirked at him from across the kitchen. The two of you had been playing Uno and he got annoyed that you were starting to stack cards on him, it was a quiet night in for you and some of his men since it was raining so hard outside you wanted a cosy night in together.
"I can and I did," You smirked as you looked at him, his eyes glaring at you as his men laughed from the living room. It was no secret that their boss was a sore loser and to lose to you when you were "cheating" was something he wasn't going to stand. Sure, you were only playing around as you "fought" about stacking and it drove the tension wilder between you both.
"You're a cheat," He growled moving closer to you until your back was pressed against the counter top and your faces were mere inches away from one another.
"So do something about it." You egged him on, staring into his eyes before he kissed you wildly, there was no soft kiss first it was wild and full of passion. His arms snacking around you and picking you up to place you onto the counter top, your hands working their way into his hair and tugging on the strands a little. His men filed out of the living room and up the stairs to give you both the privacy you so clearly needed.
JEONGIN:
"We could always go and get a waffle at the dessert place, I know how much you love it there." You suggested as you walked hand in hand with your date - Jeongin - who seemed a little nervous to be walking tonight. The two of you had been on almost five dates now and tonight was the first time you'd ever seen him look so nervous.
"That would be lovely, actually." He let out a breathy chuckle, throwing a glance over his shoulder as you heard tires screeching around the corner.
"What-" You tried to speak but it was too late, your body was against the floor with Jeongin on top of you, one hand holding the back of your head preventing it from hitting the floor and the other was protecting your face. Your heart raced rapidly against your chest as you took in sharp breaths, you knew who Jeongin was when you agreed to date him but you'd never thought ahead enough to realise you could be in danger.
"Innie, it's okay. I think it was just boy racers." You whispered after a few moments of silence, his arm moved from in front of your face and you stared back at one another. The air turning thick, too thick for you to take in anymore as you slowly wet your bottom lip, your heart racing for a whole other reason now. Jeongin slowly inched his face closer to yours until you could feel his breath on your lip and you moved your face closer to his until your lips were touching.
It was soft and gentle and yet all-consuming as you kissed him softly, your arms slowly wrapping around the back of his neck and pulling him closer to you. Sparks flew around you as you whimpered a little, his tongue gently pushing into your mouth, both of you forgetting that you were on the ground kissing until someone cleared their throat.
"Sir, we should move before we're spotted," Jisung said to his boss, making you giggle a little as you got up from the floor with Jeongin's help, he straightened out his suit and smirked at you, taking your hand into his and leaving a gently kiss on your skin.
"Let's go get dessert. Food is on me, for everyone." Jeongin said loud enough for his guards to hear.

Some of this might sound intentionally hostile in text and I apologize.
I'm saying this as an abuse survivor mind you - don't throw "abusive ships" under the bus so easily - at least, so long as they're not actually glamorizing the abuse. I lived that irl and I personally find someone overcoming it, slowly having enough of that bullshit and getting out over time, and the other person having to wipe their own butt for once after they've made the damn mess, very refreshing. Maybe that's not a ship in the traditional sense. It's no happily ever after bc it shouldn't be, but I find stories like mine shyed away from so often because even the portrayal gets considered a "canon ship". ... that's just how media works now, I guess? I very rarely See a fictional relationship not called a ship in literally any context now so that's the definition I'm running on.
I wish more people were willing to portray the hardships of finding acceptance outside of "whoever you can find will accept you" very much, and finding the better things after. I wish people weren't terrified out of portrayimg situations like mine.
Jessie.. is not a good person in canon. You expect me to believe she moved into to hanamusa seamlessly, without falling on her ass? I never see you talk about Jessie's abusive tendencies in canon. You never talk about the inherent meanness she needed to get over to get there. She's quite aml lot like my ex in canon, actually.
What do you mean you're going to just remove from the character that she is abusive to those around her. Jessie hits people. She takes her own junk out on others all the time. Do you even like the character then, are you actually invested in her growing, or are you just making an OC at this point?
Idk. Do you, boo. But you are posting about a character who, whether you like it or not, is canonically abusive. I just don't buy that dating Ash's mom alone fixed her. That isn't... How that works. It would be excellent if it did. Part of my love of hanamusa is that it signals Jessie's change - but she could have changed for anyone before now.
What makes Delia different? How is she specifically a turning point for Jessie? Because Jessie's flaws go well beyond just bossing people around.
I would love if my abuser had the same outcome as your Jessie. I adore your portayals of hanamusa, where she's still flawed but still strives to do better. That's all I ever wanted from my ex.
What the fuck got her there tho.
Anyways I've been watching a lot of Bojack Horseman lately -
I agree with you! I don't think abusive relationships (or any tough subject matter in general) should be shied away from in media. It can be powerful when executed well and written by folks who are equipped to tell those kinds of stories. I do think it's sad when people treat it as off limits. But the ask I got was definitely more about which ships I have where I actually like the relationship between the characters. I think the semantics of the word "ship" are kind of vague or rather, over time, got so specific to only mean "absolutely love together and want them as endgame" (for most people anyways). So that's usually what I take the word to mean when people ask me about it.
I can 100% appreciate how an abusive relationship is written and handled, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna ship an abuser with their victim (that falls into the glorifying you're talking about). Love Bojack Horseman! Big fan! I think the way they handled Bojack and Sarah Lynn was beautifully and tragically well written. But does that mean I ship Bojack and Sarah Lynn? Absolutely fucking not.
I've talked about Jessie's character plenty on this blog and the way she's handled in earlier seasons specifically. This is kind of a summary: If we look at it on surface level, yes we can say she was abusive. But I think it's important to acknowledge and take into account the medium, time period and culture. Slapstick and cartoon violence was HUGE in anime and animation in the 90s (and prior to that too). Characters were always cartoonishly slapping each other around with giant mallets, folding fans, etc. Looney Tunes style. These slapstick bits were always distinct from real abuse and hurt (for Pokémon, Jessiebelle comes to mind). Mean slapstick wasn't a character trait exclusive to Jessie either. We saw it in Misty, James, Meowth, characters of the day and pretty much any character who got mad. It was a visual shortcut to show anger.
This type of slapstick has since (thankfully) died out and it hasn't really been a part of the Pokémon franchise since the early 2000s. However, Jessie was a notably special case. One of my favorite fun facts about the Pokémon anime is that there was a point in the series where Megumi Hayashibara (Jessie/Musashi's seiyuu) told the writers that moving forward, she no longer wanted Jessie to be violent or to be shown hitting James or Meowth (source: her memoir "The Characters Taught Me Everything"). She thought it directly went against the vision Takeshi Shudo had for Jessie, James and Meowth, when he created them, which was that they are good natured villains. If you watch from DP and on, Jessie never lays a hand on either of them. I think it was a such a good move on Pokémon's part to change her character like that and I'm forever grateful that Hayashibara said something! Whenever I write Jessie now, I always keep that in mind. She's mean, shouty and stupid but would never genuinely hurt those she cares about.
From then, her character becomes much more bearable. She's still bossy, mean and vain (typical cartoon villainess attributes) but I'd hesitate to say abusive. She'll still yell at James and Meowth, they all yell at each other, but in more of a sibling way (imo) rather than a "i'm actively trying to hurt your feelings way". The show makes a point especially in later seasons to show that Jessie, James and Meowth are not beyond being redeemed. From conception the whole POINT of the Team Rocket trio was that they are redeemable but their persistence and obsession keeps getting in the way of them seeing that there's a better life for them out there.
I won't deny that Jessie was unsavory in earlier seasons, but when I write her, I choose to write the version that Takeshi Shudo and Megumi Hayashibara had envisioned from the get go. She's still incredibly flawed and makes plenty missteps but wants to be better as you stated! My favorite part about Jessie is that she's a piece of shit LOL and I enjoy writing the changes she goes through to be better (but then still showing her default so some of her evil tendencies). In this AU, Delia doesn't fix Jessie. Jessie fixes Jessie because she is with someone makes her want to be a better person. She's already in the middle of turning over a new leaf before even meeting Delia, after leaving Team Rocket. Writing Jessie as legitimately abusive I think could work, but that's not my story to tell and if someone who were more equipped to tell that story did, I'd be very interested to take a listen!
I hope this doesn't come off as trying to deny or invalidate your experience. If you see that in Jessie, I hear you! This is just how I've interpreted her character over the years, having watched every episode of Pokémon and reading Japanese interviews from the cast and crew. She's such a compelling character and I love how messy she is

tattoo artist kaeya having a thing for u, his regular client rosaria's cute little roommate, who is the exact opposite of her. he feels bad for touching himself to the thoughts of u but he can't help himself bc he likes u so much
❝ INKED SECRETS ❞ + KAEYA ALBERICH !
+. CWs —» tattoo artist au + modern au, f!reader, fluff, light angst with comfort, some canon elements, love at first sight, mention of cigarette smoking, bad relationships, hookups, stranger to lovers, smut ( fantasies, m-mastarbation ) ; word count — 2k.
+. NOTES —» thanks to my beloved yoru ( @anantaru) for helping me and beta reading this otherwise i would've opened the gates of kaeya-brainrot; also, thank you for being patient. This ask was almost a month old and I know this was supposed to be short but the thing is kaeya is the one who had me invested in genshin impact. However, surprisingly I've never thought of writing about him so thank you for your muse. I loved writing this so fucking much. Thank you. Tattoo artist kaeya shall live forever in my mind. If you wanna check more of my writings, click here.
Kaeya Alberich. The name of the mystery man who would always be the talk of the topic for Rosaria. He was more familiar to you than your roommate ever was. You two shared a room yet you could never read Rosaria but she was thorough with you; maybe that is why you two clicked. Every one of your friends considered it a mystery how a sunflower like you would ever survive in the company of a moon. Everyone including Kaeya. He had his own proportion of confusion every time Rosaria talked about you.
Kaeya knew how you looked, talked, and liked to eat ice cream in winter. Not only that, your favorite colors, bits and pieces of your small dreams were known to him. And all because Rosaria wouldn’t stop with the constant blabbering about you whenever he directly hung out with her, emphasizing the fact that you were nothing but an angel in disguise. Kaeya had to endure all of it, every bit of you that Rosaria seemed to find alluring. At moments like this, one could say that they exchanged personas since Kaeya was a guy of smiles and chitter-chatter while Rosaria was quite the opposite.
True, the friendship between Kaeya and Rosaria was another talk of Mondstadt’s inhabitants, but they both did not seem to react as people expected, as people thought they should. You would, barely, call them lovers. While Kaeya enjoyed different takes of his customers about Rosaria, she, on the other hand, brushed those petty rumors off, with just a glance keeping her stoic persona.
But, among all these happenings, Rosaria had the front-row seat of the chaos that was about to unfold. She had her beauty salon just above Kaeya’s tattoo parlor. They have been working together for at least five years. Rosaria had her shop on rental and the five-storied complex was owned by none other than Kaeya Alberich himself.
Anyone who wanted to go to her parlor had to cross Kaeya’s floor; hence, no one slipped past the grip of his galactic eyes. He knew the regulars of her shop and had an immense influence on them. He believed it was his charms while Rosaria begged to differ.
But she was just being professional, clearing non-financial tabs that she owed to him, for bringing the immense influx of customers to her salon. Sometimes, it worked both ways, but whenever they fought, the elders of the locality had more spice to flavor the rumors that had just started sedimenting.
January, the prime of winter, of snow and the freezing cold, Kaeya laid his first glance at you. Warm and alluring: you were every bit of beauty that Rosaria spoke of, in fact, now that he had finally seen you in person, he thinks Rosaria fell short of speaking of your angelic aura.
“Hello, I have a parcel for Rosaria, could you please deliver it to her? I would have done it myself if I wasn’t in such a hurry.”, you kept the package on my desk, “Thank you very much, Mister . . .”, you looked at his batch that reads Kaeya Alberich, “. . . Thank you so much, Mister Kaeya Alberich.” And before Kaeya could say anything back, you fled out of his sight like a bird.
He watched you get into a cab holding the package in his hand, barely registering what you asked him to do. His mind had drifted far off to all those times when Rosaria was talking about you. He checked his watch and smiled to himself. Oops! Rosaria’s smoke break was ruined since he joined in with the package you had left for her, with many questions.
For a tattoo artist, Kaeya seemed the least bit invested in its antics, yet he had a steady influx of customers, mostly because he is very professional and dedicated to his livelihood. He pays special attention to his regular customers, sadly, you weren’t one of them, not yet.
Still, he would stand and smoke at the corner of the entrance so that he could watch you go like the wind to meet your roommate with a package in hand. He would notice the color of your dress, the matching nails, shoes, and every little detail thinking how flawlessly sexy you looked.
But he abruptly stopped the second he had bruised his fingers with the cigarette burn. Fortunately, it was his left hand but with his line of work, he needed both.
Today, during the lunch break when Rosaria told him that y/n wanted to have a tattoo, his blood rushed to his cheeks and ears. He did not think you’d be interested in tattoos or piercings. He definitely did not see the next blow coming. “Yep. sure.”, he supplied, coughing back the lump in his throat. Of all the parlors you could choose you had to choose his. What in the lord’s fuck was going on?
The day came faster, faster than he had anticipated. Needless to say, it did not go like he thought it would. It was safe to say he was more nervous than you were. “Are you sure about this?”, “Ya’know it’s gonna hurt, right?”, “Should I use some anesthetic on the area?” His questions wouldn’t stop and you were trying your best to stay as patient as possible It is true, part of him was nervous but another wanted to spend and enjoy some time with you.
“And done!”, Kaeya playfully mused as he wiped over the work of ink, careful enough not to accidentally graze his fingers over your inner thigh but of course, he did want to.“y/n” he spoke, his tone low but clear enough for you to hear, “so, how many tattoos do you have now?” Kaeya shifted in his chair as he intently watched you normalize your heightened breathing
“Didn’t you keep count?”,
“nine”, he said, letting out a breathless laugh. “which means you dumped your ninth partner.” and he was not wrong. Of all the regular customers he had, you were his favorite because you had an amusing story to tell whenever you had visited his parlor. He would listen to you the moment he was finished with his handiwork.
But this one in particular, was quite a different story. You never told nor was he allowed to ask about the guy you dumped, ever. Part of him wanted to console you, and tell you that good things take time but another part of him was too afraid to lose you, realizing it was unprofessional of him to offer any form of painkiller against a situation like that. Because on any other occasion, his usual customers weren’t as chatty as you were.
He never thought of a case where it might be the opposite. With that, he thought that you, of all people, being dumped by someone was utterly ridiculous, because who wouldn't want to date someone like you? He knows he would, after all, and if he could, he would make sure the ninth tattoo is to be the last tattoo on your body.
“What about you?”, you asked, swinging your legs in the air while sitting on the bed. “For a tattoo artist, you are awfully blank.”
“It’s somewhere. . .”, he started, “wait I’ll rather show you . . .”. and when you, in a sliding second, unexpectedly flashed him, his hands immediately found their way crawling at the hem of his turtle-neck.
“Wait. wait. Wait. stop. Just stop.” kaeya panicked as you partly opened your eyes. He crossed his arms over his chest while your eyebrows jumped and stayed intact for seconds. Pin-drop silence and then both of you simultaneously laughed. Some might think it’s corny, and maybe you did as well but it doesn’t matter, what matters is that you were smiling right now.
That’s good. That’s really good.
Kaeya checked his watch as you left his place to run upstairs, checking to see if Rosaria was done with her chores; after all, she was almost approaching the closing hour of her shop so she should’ve been done by the time you had arrived at her place. Fifteen minutes, fifteen minutes before you and Rosaria would come out of the elevator to go home; maybe he could if he’d finally stop thinking about it in such an unhealthy calculative manner.
Yet, well, there was just one problem. His ears felt hot, his mind was restless and he couldn't focus on a single task. Generally, it took ten minutes to close his shop and he does it every day, all alone so if not his mind, his muscle memory should be functioning properly. But all he desired to do was to touch himself and relieve himself from the agony of months boiling in his core.
June, the prime time of summer and ice cream. Kaeya slides his right arm under his vest while grazing his lower belly, eagerly thinking of the last time, but eventually, his arm ends up slipping into his pants, his fingers clamping around his length, and finally, a soft groan escapes from his mouth. The tip of his tongue kisses the corner of his lips as he takes out his cock which was coated with warm white fluid, at the tip pre-cum.
For a moment, he is surprised, and then he suddenly is not. There is a crescent formed along his lips as he taps the tip of his cock, smearing the reddened end with its pre. “Oh fuck. This feels so much better.”, he groans, mumbling to himself, thinking why he didn’t do this way sooner.
He palms his member, a little harder, this time trying to imagine how it would feel to be sheathed by your gummy walls. He started to pump his cock as his pants slipped, now clustered at the bottom of the chair while his legs were trying to give as much space as possible by spreading them further apart.
With half-lidded eyes, he checks if you had locked the door before leaving or not. You did not and the thought of you walking onto him turned him so bad that he thought he might cum right away.
The moment he closes his eyes he could see you, your calloused fingers around his cock and now he is pumping his cock rashly, the hem of his vest being buried in between his teeth, muffled moans escaping his mouth as the squelching noises had gotten louder and louder.
His other hand gradually made its way towards his nipples, pinching and circling around them thinking of your lips instead. “Oh fuck.”, he hisses as his toes curl, his hips bucked up with a force as he thinks of how euphoric it would be to have your soft lips wrapped around his cock, to have your puffy lips on his, to have your boobs tightly pressed against his bare chest, pronounced nipples grazing against each other while Kaeya’s cock is hitting your sweet spot with precision, blessing his ears with the prettiest desperate moans from you.
He squeezes his eyes shut as his hands move up and down his swollen cock, hitting his girth with calculated thrusts. He paces up as he feels his orgasm approaching, huffing and panting, not caring how vocal he has become until the coil at the core of his flat belly snaps, making him dizzy, his hand movements sloppy, and his inner thighs gradually closing, relishing in the high he had just experienced.
Kaeya’s chest rises up and down frantically as he finally opens his eyes, watching the spurs of milky white fluid all over the floor and his study desk. A heavy sigh leaves his body as his breathing normalizes. “Fuck . . .”, he mumbles throwing back his head before closing his eyes and thinking of you, again. He takes a few deep breaths to relax before cleaning the mess.
Yet, when he suddenly heard the footsteps, his heart sank. He regrets touching himself while thinking of you, he regrets not saving himself for you, he regrets chasing love so fast, so insanely that he almost lost his hope for finding the one.
“Hey Kae-ya, you done?”, you asked, opening the door, “Rosa is gonna be late today. So, I’ll stay and help her. I’m going out to buy some food, you wanna come with me?” You let your exhausted body lean against the door frame while Kaeya remained silent.
It just made him crazy how blatantly you ignored him, his magnetic affection for you, and the truth was, he cannot even blame you for that. He has always enjoyed this feeling, to like you in secrecy. The more you are unaware of his emotions, the greater chance he has to be around you. Kaeya does not ask for much, just a few more days till he musters up enough courage to finally ask you out.

Man, I like Daily Wire in concept but Matt Walsh needs to shut the fuck up about video games. The same guy who tried to resurrect the tired old "violent video games are harmful!" crap is now acting like he's the first person to notice that video games are pushing woke nonsense (even though there are about a hundred channels and outlets that have been talking about this for years) but his solution is to, of course, for the right to stop playing video games.
No. Just, no.
This is the same "bury our head in the sand and pretend pop culture doesn't exist" mindset that got us into this situation in the first place. You can't win a war (and there is a culture war going on, no matter how many people on both sides want to pretend otherwise) by retreating from every battlefield. You win by raising awareness of a problem and then offering a real solution.
And it's especially stupid seeing this cultural retreat mindset from someone working for DW because DW actually knows exactly how to fight this battle. They created their own media company to fight against woke Hollywood. Are all their movies and shows good? No, not at all. But they still did the right thing. They put their money where their mouth is, and created an alternative.
A much better example is Angel Studios, which is probably the only Christian movie studio I've ever seen that puts out top quality content with great acting, writing, and production values. They're raking in money and getting their content onto mainstream streaming services as well as theaters. In other words, they're taking their message to the people who need it the most. The ones who aren't already in the echo chamber. Unlike Daily Wire, which only offers its content on its own website through a subscription service to its own audience, and never advertises anywhere.
Another successful example outside of movies is Eric July's Rippaverse. He's been killing it with his comics, with every single one of his campaigns raking in over a million dollars, every cent of which is reinvested back into his business, helping it grow, creating more content, and expanding his already impressive roster of writers and artists. Mainstream writers and artists, by the way. Like Chuck Dixon, the guy who co-created Bane and wrote the seminal Tim Drake Robin comics, among many other credits, and Mike Baron, who wrote some of the best early Punisher comics. Eric had a following before he started the Rippaverse. He runs a successful YouTube channel and he's a regular contributor to The Blaze. He could have walled himself off with his fanbase, wrote comics about ancaps saving the world from the evils of government, and made some money while pandering to the people who already agreed with him. Instead, he went big. He invested his own money, runs his own distribution center, owns his own business with zero outside investors, hires the best talent he can, and offers a product that focuses on story and characters over messaging. His work isn't even "anti-woke". It's just not woke.
And that's what we need in video games. We need alternatives. We need to roll up our sleeves and wade into the deep waters and actually contribute our ideas and our talents. Offer an alternative. Hire people who know what they're doing, who care about quality content first and social engineering never. There is a huge untapped audience who would pay hand over fist for good video games free from microtransactions and woke nonsense.
But retreating is not an option. It's not brave or moral to hide in our echo chambers and scoff at anything fun. Entertainment is necessary. And maybe more importantly, it's not going anywhere. We will never live in a world where people go to work and spend time with their families at home and do nothing else. We need to engage with the world as it is. Not wait around for whatever our idea of a perfect world is to magically form so we can finally interact with it. You can't change society if you keep pretending large swaths of it don't exist.

Why Lore Olympus and Miraculous Ladybug are the Same Thing but in Different Fonts
Good evening, good day, hello and howdy. I am INCREDIBLY bored and I'm here to go on a nonsensical tangent about two pieces of media that I hate and have dedicated a vast amount of my free time to. This is all in good fun and all of my rudeness is intended to be satirical and/or comical unless indicated otherwise.
Now just to preface, if you know me then you know how much I dislike Miraculous Ladybug. Folks in my circle got to watch as I descended into madness writing a 64k word review on season 5. So I've spent an uncomfortable amount of time dissecting this show.
I have also spent an uncomfortable amount of time engaging with the shitshow that is Lore Olympus. And now my ass is gonna try and compare the two because there's a lot of shit going on here.
None of this is going to matter and it's all in good fun. Like I said, I am bored. And sometimes it's fun to compare stuff you hate.
Now let the insanity ensue.
FP spoilers and MLB s5 spoilers below the cut btw.
To get a major difference out of the way, Miraculous Ladybug is a tv show. Lore Olympus is a webcomic.
But mediums aside, these two things still have a lot in common. So for the first comparison, I'd like to talk about the insecurity in both properties.
Insecurity
What I define as insecurity in this context is a piece of media that is too afraid to commit or adhere to a certain tone, story, style, etc. In short-- they don't know what they want to be.
Insecurity in Lore Olympus is a bit more obvious than with Miraculous so I'm gonna rant about that first.
Lore Olympus just straight up does not have a story to tell.
There are too many random ass plots being added and discarded on a whim for it to be a coherent story. A good way to explain it is kinda like this-- In this episode of LO, something cool new and interesting is set up and you have to keep reading to see what happens! And then nothing ever happens. Or it happens because the audience won't let the author forget so there's a half-assed attempt to wrap up that plot point.
LO is so insecure about what it is, it feels the need to add more and more to make it actually something. But what it is is a hollow story that lacks substance. So all of these new random plot points are kinda like bandaid solutions if that makes sense.
There are so many unfinished/under-utilized plot points that if you were to count out each and every one, you'd probably keel over dead before you finished. There's that many.
It's too insecure to commit to any one of them in the grand scheme of things.
I don't know how coherent all of that was so here's a shitty tl;dr
LO doesn't know what it wants to say anymore so it's just adding more shit to keep the reader "invested."
Yeah ok I think that makes more sense. As for Miraculous...
God.
I fucking hate Miraculous.
It's insecure as hell and you can smell that shit from ten miles away. It's insecure with it's premise, I think.
If it just kept to the simple "monster-of-the-week" formula, I do not think I would have written so many words on it's fifth season.
Miraculous (apparently) had a grander story to tell beyond the "monster-of-the-week revert back to the status quo each episode."
But we don't see any of that in full swing till season 3, really. Which is a long ass time to get the ball rolling imo.
It's a little jarring to see the show go from the stupid kid status quo adventures to a heavy and emotional story??? And I say heavy and emotional with the most sarcastic tone possible because the only emotion I feel watching this shit is rage.
Despite wanting to make that shift to a serialized type of show, Miraculous was too scared to stray from the successful status quo format.
To explain a bit more I wanna talk about my review of the season.
While it is mostly filled with rude jokes and incomprehensible jargon, I bring up a lot of points in it regarding the state of things.
One of those things being the show's hesitancy to move the story along.
The fifth season was supposed to be a grand final battle and a conclusion to this story arc. But it was too scared to commit to that so there's way more episodes that are nothing but shipping fodder.
There are many episodes that season that just... feel the same. Just with different coats of paint. "Marinette is trying to date Adrien but she's awkward and clumsy and oh no! shenanigans ensue!" We've been doing this for 8 years.
If they want to tell a serialized story then they need to grow some balls and cut the shit we've seen a million times before.
Their insistence to stick to the status quo makes the writing exceptionally weak downright painful to sift through. It was too scared, too insecure, to stray from its formula.
That's a part of the reason why I think the season is paced so bad. There's so little time spent on the interesting parts of the story because they had to cram in as much shipping shit as possible. So by proxy, there was less time to tell a good story.
Both of these stupid ass properties don't know what they want to be. There are too many things being added and not enough balls to commit to any of them.
Now with both LO and MLB, we can all agree that the writing is pretty shit. Nothing new there. But shitty writing often bleeds into the characters and making them shitty by exposure. Almost like a spill of toxic waste, infecting anything near it and turning into a rotten pile of sludge and chemicals.
So yeah, the characters are ass as well. But I only wanna complain about the female leads for both of these things.
But just to mention Adrien and Hades, they are pretty similar. I won't go into detail but the short of it is, "Character with deep seated issues that could have been interesting, has a lot of potential, but is just kinda garbage in the end."
At least Adrien Agreste isn't monetizing death and has a bunch of shades in his basement doing his work.
Persephone and Marinette
So I always say that I don't like using the term 'Mary Sue' to describe a character. But as it turns out, I use that term a lot. So I'm not gonna lie about that anymore.
These two characters are Mary Sues.
Persephone first
Oh my god I hate Persephone a lot. She just ticks every box on my list of 'THINGS I HATE IN A CHARACTER.'
Which is funny because her character had a lot of promise and heart in the beginning.
I related to her a LOT when I picked up this comic before my frontal cortex developed. I related with her character and her struggles. Especially after the Apollo incident. That really stuck out to me. It was so powerful.
But all of those tiny things I liked about her character were stripped away. Her ambition to study in school? Poof, gone. Her charm? Not charming anymore. That kindness everyone in the story gushes about? I don't even think it was there in the first place.
Truth be told, I do need to reread this comic because the beginning is fuzzy as fuck in my walnut-sized brain. But I can tell you for certain that the way she was in the beginning is not who she is now.
And this isn't the case of a character going through an arc and developing and changing. She's just getting worse and the narrative treats it as a GOOD THING.
"Oh yeah, Persephone trashed Leuce's apartment instead of talking to her husband like an adult. She threatened to kill this nymph but you're supposed to find that endearing." Like, what??? I will not have a story try and get me to believe this is a good thing.
If this were a good story, Persephone's actions in that episode WOULDN'T BE REWARDED. But she's rewarded with sex for being a fucking psychopath towards a random nymph. Wow.
And that leads into my next point-- she can never be in the wrong ever.
AOW? Retconned, not her fault. It wasn't her fault she killed all those people. It's actually Eris' fault because she gave her wrath.
Trashing Leuce's apartment? She was in the right for that, apparently.
Killing people in a famine during the 10 year banishment? That's never explored, we just know she killed people, burned a library or something, and probably shot the president too. But it's fine, she's the good guy.
And most recently (and potentially the most frustrating);
Persephone causes winter.
Not her mother, Demeter, no fuck the myths. Persephone is the one who caused winter actually. AND SHE DID IT ON ACCIDENT SO TECHNICALLY IT IS NOT HER FAULT CAUSE SHE DIDNT MEAN TOOOO UWU
She also probably killed a million flower nymphs in that snap freeze but its ok it doesn't matter.
WHAT?
WHAT THE FUCK? CMON NOW.
She's not going to receive any consequences for anything because she is just too perfect.
She's smarter than Athena, prettier than Aphrodite, better than her mother in every way, all the boys want her, she has a perfect body, she's pink, her eyes go red when she's angy, she has the most power of everyone in the world, she's a super rare fertility goddess, she has all the gifts, all the blessings, and none of the development.
It almost feels like a wattpad fanfic.
"My mom doesn't like me so she sold me to one direction and then I became queen of the underworld."
Yeah, I don't like her.
And the same can be applied to Marinette!
A character who is so blatantly perfect, the narrative fucking BENDS TO HER WILL.
She's a creepy ass stalker and has done some weird ass things to get close to this random famous white boy and it's all excused.
It's literally excused.
There is a rule about character backstories. They are supposed to provide an explanation for a character's behavior, not an excuse for it.
In season 5, episode 14 - Derision, we see a bit of Marinette backstory. Some stupid bullshit happens and Marinette essentially says she isn't going to say 'I love you' to anyone unless she knows literally everything about them.
She says a lot in that stupid ass scene but it's basically just saying that all of her stalking and creepy behavior is justified. Which it is not.
Marinette can do no wrong. The narrative won't allow it.
She's perfect in every way. And even when SHE is in the wrong, characters somehow find a way to apologize to her. Either that or she turns a situation about someone else into one about her self.
She's just the perfect character who ends up saving the world.
Fuck having Chat Noir face against his dad in the finale, Marinette has to girlboss all over the place and save the day but then actually lose because the "plot" demands it.
Oh yeah and she's probably never going to tell Adrien that his abusive dad was the villain they had been fighting for months. Do you think that's a good choice? I'll give you a hint; it is not.
It makes Marinette look like a HORRIBLE character but it's painted in a way that makes the viewer believe this is the right decision.
I don't think I need to get into specifics as to why that is wrong and disgusting.
If I had to make a prediction for this show going forward, she isn't going to tell him. It's going to be forgotten and she's going to be painted as the hero.
No flaws, no accountability, nothing.
Garbage character. Fucking hate it.
Both of these characters will never see consequences for their actions. Their bad actions are either excused or retconned out of existence. And that's not how you write a character btw. If you want them to be real, give them consequences. The world should not revolve around them. They should have flaws and issues that should be explored. But apparently that's too much work.
It's funny how both of these properties claim to be about feminism and somehow completely miss what feminism is
Miraculous thinks that feminism means "Girl power! Girls are better than guys in every way!" And Lore Olympus makes no attempt to be feminist at all. Women hate other women, and they don't get a lot of opportunities to explore and express themselves.
I could get into the whole purity culture shtick but that's a shitty rant for another day.
I've been ranting about this for a while and I got the big ones out of the way, methinks. I do want to get into the creators of both of these things but that is also a rant for another day.
Cause if I got into that now, we'd be here a while.
So let me just make a final comparison and wrap things up here. I don't think any of this makes a lot of sense but I hate both things and I'm passionate about it so I'm gonna keep rambling.
Miraculous Ladybug and Lore Olympus never attempt to grow as stories. They are both scared to try new things and to stick with it. Most of the time this results in rushed writing and horribly done characters.
It's so clear that both of these things are desperate to be something great but they just can't put in the work to get there.
Honestly, they both feel like the product of a team of yes-men. Bad decisions and errors slip by WAY too often and it's kind of embarrassing.
These are popular pieces of media and they have the resources to be great but they just aren't.
They're both too insecure to make something of themselves.
It's honestly really sad and I don't want this for either of these things. I want LO to be stunning and retell the myth of Persephone with the respect it deserves. I want MLB to be a serialized show with focus on the lore. Sure it can start as episodic but it can ease us into a deeper story and intrigue the viewer. But I want it to flesh out the world and be an entertaining experience.
It's sad but it's the way it is.
Who knows, maybe MLB season 6 will be good. And maybe LO will have a 4th season and it'll fix all the problems it has.
I dunno.
Thanks for reading this incoherent nonsense.

[ID: A photograph of a building in Chicago through my window; in one corner my spider plant is photobombing the image. Through the window, snow can be seen falling against the urban backdrop.]
It's snowing in Chicago for New Year's! Everyone who bought a cute cocktail dress to wear out to the parties tonight, I'm so sorry. Maybe invest in some kind of dramatic greatcoat that will keep your butts warm.
Me, I've put the stracotto di manzo on to slow cook (fourth dish I'm cooking, third course in the Festa Alla Cinque Cibi) and I'm about to sit on the sofa and not do much for a bit.
The stracotto di manzo recipe, like the burik recipe, comes from Portico, a Jewish-Italian cookbook (there's an online version here) and I did make a few alterations; I hope people know that whenever I talk about changing a recipe it's because I'm changing it to suit my tastes or laziness, and that's not a critique of the recipe. In this case, I halved the recipe since I'm only one man and four pounds of pot roast is too much. I also replaced the sauteed onions-celery-garlic mixture with my Special Sauce, but mainly because I had the Special Sauce handy and it's the same flavor profile more or less. No celery note, but I'm indifferent to celery.
[ID: three images; left, a photo into the instant pot, showing a golden-brown mess on the bottom; center, a bottle of Bay Bridge Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon; right, the "special sauce" after the wine has been added, which is now a surprisingly appetizing-looking green liquid flecked with gold.]
The "special sauce" is a mixture of caramelized onions, roasted garlic, and my homemade pesto (roasted cashews, fresh basil, salt, roasted garlic, olive oil). I browned the beef chunks in olive oil and removed them, added the special sauce just long enough to get it good and hot, then added the wine and deglazed the pan. They say you should only ever cook with wine you'd drink, but I don't like wine at all, so like a good San Francisco boy I bought some California Cab in the $5-$10 range and hoped for the best. When it arrived it turned out it had been on markdown, so that is right there some of your finest $2.50 wine. I'll use the rest in a ragu sauce or to thin paint or something. How long does jet fuel keep in the fridge?
[ID: A shot into the instant-pot of large chunks of beef bubbling away in a red sauce, bits of gold "special sauce" still visible here and there. None of you can smell the garlic and basil I'm smelling right now but I wish you could.]
Anyway I didn't get a photo of the beef browning, but once the special sauce and red wine were on the boil, I added a massive can of tomato puree and the browned beef, brought it up to bubbling, then switched over to slow-cook. I've got it on the lowest possible setting but that might be slightly too low, so I'll check the temp in two hours and re-evaluate. It's just feeding me and I have no set time to eat, so if it takes all day it takes all day.
All that's left now is the second fry on the Carciofi Alla Giudia, which will be the last thing I do because you serve that warm and there's no real way to re-heat it after the second fry.
Breakfast was a slice of homemade pizza and like four amaretti cookies, because I am only ever classy by appointment.

Hi!!
Quick question: Is the level of regular engagement/posting/meta for BL series right now (particularly Step By Step and La Pluie, but others as well) a typical amount of engagement for a show in this little Tumblr corner? or above average? (or below average??)
Is it increasing because (from what I understand) things are changing and there's more to talk about nowadays?
As a newbie, I am having a FABULOUS time with reading and seeing everyone's different thoughts and perspectives and insights and learning new things. 'tis excellent. I don't think I've ever enjoyed watching TV more.
However, from what I understand the amount of BL coming out right now is actually in a bit of a lul? and so if this level of engagement is typical for the majority of shows (or only good shows idk) I'm going to have to put some time management stuff in place.
I just want to be prepared! Because this is Awesome!
Oh, this is a complicated one. I'm going to tag @absolutebl, @so-much-yet-to-learn, @lurkingshan, @ginnymoonbeam, @liyazaki, @negrowhat, @respectthepetty, and any other old fans reading this to also weigh in.
I think we are a shell of what we once were. At the height of 2gether, Bad Buddy, I Told Sunset About You, and a few other big shows you were getting banger after banger in the tags. I feel like I've been writing more lately because I miss that era and feel like I have to directly contribute to fostering it with new fans entering the space.
On the real, in 2020 @asianmade organized fans to submit letters and other content and assembled books to thank Bright and Win for the work they did on 2gether. We even got confirmation from Bright that they got the books.
I think good storytelling begets good reactions. The more invested we are, the more we're going to talk about it. I think fandom really only works when we're all actively contributing to it in some way. Reblogging and leaving fun comments in the tags. Writing crack posts. Sharing clown theories about what might be happening. Making gifs. Making fan vids. I genuinely think that the experience of watching the show improves when fans come together to share their ideas and build each other up.
Still, there used to be a lot more of us on tumblr. I hope that we continue to be this invested in the shows that follow. I feel like we're about to turn a lot more of our attention to Be My Favorite.
So, if you're enjoying the experience of having so much to read, please add to the stream! Write your thoughts down! Love the shows loudly! Tag us if you write something! Message us if you have questions!

One of the many things that I've been doing instead of writing are these damn manwha binges and Villain To Kill is literally so funny. The comic premise is straightforward action, think Tokyo Ghoul meets Solo Leveling - local Genetically Superpowered Superhero Cop working for corrupt Hero Organization gets #betrayed and #murdered and is reincarnated into the body of a Genetically Superpowered Villain Teenager so now he has to join up with all the other villain superpower people to get justice.
It's so 5/10. Cassian is extremely OP and the story isn't well-written enough to pull that off well. The worldbuilding is so incredibly nonsensical and weak that it falls apart if you think about it for more than five minutes (tried to write fic for it and failed because I would have had to rework the entire world - which, I could have, but that's a lot of effort for Villain to Kill). The plot is mostly any OP action hero plot where guy gets increasingly powerful by fighting increasingly powerful guys. Cassian himself has almost nothing going on internally, to the point of elegance. And it is somehow the gayest manwha I've ever read.
It's the fucking character designs. And like its narrative but it's the fucking 100/10 character designs. The entire cast's design and characters slam. There's not that much depth but we don't care. You know if we don't like somebody if they look vaguely straight, and you know that we like somebody if they look like they were set to tumble dry in the queerness washing machine. The (great!) women are high femme or hard butch. The corrupt institution assassinated a man Cassian loved and framed & murdered him, at which point he was adopted by a rag-tag bunch of flamboyant homosexuals deemed unacceptable and undesired by society who all teamed up and decided to villainize society in exclusively funny ways and spend most of their time gossiping or hacking the Pentagon. An AFAB character dresses as a man and goes by he/him pronouns half the time for no good reason. Cassian is physiologically incapable of thinking about anything but violence so the heartwarming found family scenario's going over his head, but his Painfully Het Hero Foil Indoctrinated Into Homophobia caught the found family ball and now he's dancing in their gay bars and dressing in drag. There's only a few characters who are explicitly gay but this is gayer than that.
I talked a while back about how important a decent supporting cast is to a good story, and this is yet again good proof. Looking at this, I think I'd go further and say - it's an action manwha, we're reading it for a reason, we don't need character-driven story arcs or really complex characters. I think it's just charisma. A story can go really far on characters with charisma.
TV Shows that are carried on the lead actor (Columbo I love you) - it's because the actor has charisma. You watch it to see the actor hang out being himself. That's way way harder to do in fiction, but I think that "a complex character" isn't necessarily a "charismatic character". I'd rather have a cast of only charismatic characters rather than only complex ones. A story of any genre needs a strong cast of charismatic characters. They can be deep or they can just be chaotic lesbians. Charisma invests the reader in the story and the characters. It's simple but it's really powerful. And it is fucking hilarious how sometimes all you need to do on that front is "Rupaul this shit".
I can't genuinely recommend Villain to Kill and this is not a recommendation. But random stuff always interests me like this, and I really had no idea that I would read 120ch of a manwha bc the designs fuck so hard. Also, like, this is queerest manwha I've ever read. Somehow. Fucking somehow.

KinnPorsche The Series as a case study of a successful Thai BL series abroad.
The Economy segment, ThaiPBS News (07/17/2023)
K'Siwat's Sawasdimaneekul (New), director and executive of Studio Wabi Sabi and Dr. Chakrit Pichyangkul, director of the Creative Economy Agency (CA) raised "KinnPorsche The Series" as a case study for Thai BL that became successful in foreign countries as it breaks all the rules that have ever been made.
Breaking out of the framework of plot that is only within the university setting to the mafia world makes it a success and is an example of how to make content differently.
Dr. Wit (Host 1): I would like to talk about a case that is successful in the ThaiBL industry, overseas, in terms of the plot because many viewers at home may not have been following much bl shows. They might have been following some… but which of them we should learn from, so that we can branch out? let's start with New first.
New: At the moment, it would be Kinnporsche The Series, we can clearly see that, I can say it since the moment I've been part of the industry, KinnPorsche The Series is a show that is tremendously successful, extraordinary, of a world-class level, honestly.
Dr. Wit (Host 1): Because?…
New: It's..
Dr. Wit (Host 1): Because we have many shows, right?
New: Yes, yes...
Dr. Wit (Host 1): So why does that show has the charm/power it has in drawing the audience?
New: One reason could be because it's different in terms of the plot. It came in a time when lots of people/shows have not been set outside of the university backdrop as much. And it's a mafia-esque world, it also has a very masculine vibe, and it has a beautiful production as well. Including the acting of the actors that are well-balanced too. Many of the elements complement, all of it complement each other to make the show a great success.
K'Watcharathit (Host 2): Can we say that it's one of the masterpieces within the ThaiBL industry?
New: Very much so
K'Watcharathit (Host 2): Really?
New: Very much so, and i believe that they, the production team, really put in their effort and commitment towards the show. No matter if it's the production itself or the financial investment that we can just tell that there's a lot of financial investment to produce that show... frankly speaking they just put in their all with that show, so, yeah, it's great, the result is what it should have been.
Dr. Wit (Host 1): The output is worth the input, right?
New: Correct
Dr. Chakrit: *replies to the same initial question* I would say KinnPorsche The Series as well, I think this show is a good case study because it's on the iQiYi platform, a large streaming platform that reaches audiences both in China and overseas. There's a lot of viewers, and a show, it's one of the first shows that can adjust, evolve the content from the norm that is within the university and university students or highschool, to a mafia world. There's action, as well. And a mix of comedy. So, when there's action-thriller added to a show like this… companies need to find new products, and this is the new product of BL series that came out in a style that is not traditional, with light-hearted humor, nor confined within the school or university setting. But it's set within the real world that more people could relate to and has action-thrillers that people didn't not expect that could be included in a BL series. I think this is an important aspect, that it could be done, and the financial income, I think there could be a collaboration with iQiYi as well, and with the larger number of viewers that is exponentially high, it's clear that the two male lead actors, both Mile and Apo are well-received at the world stage, right now with lots of fans. I think it's a great case and an interesting one. And I think that from now on, we'll see BL series that have other dimensions. It might be within another career, there might be a fantasy genre, or ghost, etc., we don't know what the future holds, so it could happen. There are many things to do and explore. There's another aspect that BL series could explore that doesn't have to be a light-hearted humor purely anymore. This is just the beginning.
K'Watcharathit (Host 2): Period, historical ones, right?
Dr. Chakrit: There'll be more...
New: Yes... this year has a lot of period BL shows... yes, both films and tv shows
K'Watcharathit (Host 2): Oh..
Dr. Chakrit: The person who did KinnPorsche The Series, is also doing a period piece, 'Man Suang' that opened in Cannes already.... it's showing around the end of August, right?
New: end of August, yes
Dr. Chakrit: In August it'll be released in Thailand. It’s another film that is worth watching, and is played by the same actors, Mile and Apo. Which I think, from the trailer, oh wow, they really were determined/put in the effort in producing it. Like the filming set looks like it's around the reign of King Rama III...

Could we please get a group chat after the reveal that Phillip is sporting absolute anaconda in his trousers?
BSSG Group Chat
Michael: Hey everyone. I just wanted to take the opportunity to say a BIG FAT MASSIVE hello to my HYUCKING GIANT of a pal @ Phillip
Sophie: ...
Sophie: Okay?
Simon: Could you not just have messaged him separately to say hi?
Kate: Yeah what's with the performance aspect of this specific greeting exactly? 🤨
Penelope: Michael...
Phillip: ...
Phillip: Um hi?
Simon: Do you know wtf he's on about?
Phillip: No?
Michael: Can't a man say a GINORMOUS hello to his ABSOLUTE HULK of a CUMBERSOME buddy without people COCKING their THICKSET eyebrows up with HEAVY suspicion?
Sophie:
Penelope: Michael jfc
Simon: Ah right the first message in isolation just seemed random but now it appears Michael's just being crudely suggestive towards Phil.
Kate: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Kate: So this was just Michael's immature way of addressing the fact Phil's got a big dick
Sophie: Michael!!!!!!!
Michael: Aw man I've been rumbled.
Penelope: please stop acting like you were being even remotely subtle about it
Michael: Just like Phil has Eloise's bed rumbling from his COLOSSAL RHINO COCK every night.
Sophie: MICHAEL HAMISH STIRLING
Simon: Is nothing sacred?
Penelope:
Phillip: I don't know if I care to have my size being public knowledge.
Simon: Well I definitely don't care for it to be public knowledge.
Michael: Hey Simon, ever heard of the brotherhood of man? Show our dear ol Phillip some respect for his monster cock!
Sophie: 😨
Kate: Can I ask how exactly you know so much about what Phil's working with? You haven't been checking him out at the urinal have you?
Michael: I only know because the only thing bigger than the snake in Phil's pants is Eloise's mouth.
Michael: And just to make it clear everything I've said about Phil's outstanding member has been a direct quote from his shy and retiring fiancee.
Michael: I expect @ Penelope can vouch for me on that.
Penelope: yes I can confirm that El likes to go into graphic detail about her sex life without any prompting whatsoever
Kate: Well that checks out seeing as everything that comes out of Eloise's mouth is unprompted 99% of the time.
Penelope: it's almost impressive the endless ways she's uniquely gone about describing Phil's eye-watering meat wand
Sophie: :(
Michael: She's literally spent the last half an hour talking very loudly at Franny on the subject in the next room.
Michael: Says she's contemplating investing in a cane since a night with Phil always leaves her hobbling around the next day.
Simon has left the chat

I heard about an fnaf au with Solar and Moon being a couple, is that true??
What will the story of the au be about? What would the relationship between Solar and Moon be like? and how will Sun react to this game of passion??
I'm already getting invested in this ship😊🤭
Lol. It's not really a story I'm making. You can't read it anywhere yet. Who knows, I don't know if I'll make a fic based on this concept or not... but never say never.
I talked about it a bit more detail in here along with other links
It's just more of an RP scenario I'm playing with my friends. So there's no real story outside of just imagining Pining and smooching. There's no concrete Au but one might develop later.
I just give it the title of "AU" cause I don't want people coming in my inbox like "but are they cousins????" Cause, lol to me they're not, and I've talked about the loosely defined relationships of the robots before many a time.
To clarify, when I ship Solar and Moon I did before the 'cousin' relationship was clearly defined, and I don't see them as cousins. Okay? Okay???? We cool? We Cool.
But basically,
Solar has developed feelings for Moon. He probably has when back he first met him, and they've just been growing more since his memories have wiped and Moon has become chiller, and kinder.
Has very "as you wish" Princess Bride feels with Moon you know what I'm saying?
Not many people would rebuild an entire daycare in a Day.... how much can he pay back for this Moon. He gave him a place to stay, and saved him from his own Moon. (me and my friends call Solar Dimension's Moon "Asshole Moon" for simplicity's sake)
Solar was willing to sacrifice his life for everything. To Stop Eclipse once and for all. The Eclipse that hurt Lunar.... but he did this.... Not just for Lunar, but for this Moon in another dimension he doesn't even know and his whole family.
Solar hates his Moon. He even admits to hating Moons, and the worst sides of Moon, like Bloodmoon for example, remind him of his Moon, and he even calls Moon out when he's acting like Asshole Moon. .........Solar's attempted Sacrifice to let Moon kill Eclipse is a pretty big deal.
And Moon refused to let that happen. Even if it was of no consequence to him. Moon tries to justify it in that, he just can't see another person get hurt... But think.
Think for a few seconds, and think about how I thought of it at the time, and still do.
Reframe that.
He couldn't see SOLAR get hurt.
Couldn't see Solar sacrifice himself for him. He pushed him into that dimension as the only way to save him. Solar was justifiably mad, and even angrier when Moon told him after the fact Lunar might possibly be alive. He understands why Moon did it...
And a few weeks later, once he realizes all hope for his dimension, and having the love and warmth and family he gets from Lunar and Moon will be something he will never have here... and Sun will never be the same again...
He left.
Showed up at Moon's dimension like a sobbing wet cat, like "I have nowhere else to go"
Solar is also one of the firsts to Accept NewMoon as he is as a new person, he listens to Moon complain about Sun missing his old brother, and gives him perspective.
As far as the AU goes.... Solar is pining hard... and he doesn't want to break the friendship he has with this Moon. It's something special to him.... And he knows Moon, well, Old Moon was aroace and he doesn't know if that still applies. He doesn't want to test his boundaries. He would hate to see Moon mad or worse, reject him.
He is content (he's not) for now, building Moon things, making him things, building for him and caring about him. As long as he can stay here.
It's only others taking notice of his pining heartbreak, which he keeps under wraps until it becomes way more noticeable... that others give him a push. Because Solar was ready to take this to the grave with no one ever possibly knowing.
Moon also realizes he likes spending time with Solar, and he likes his snarky sense of humor, and is more surprised about the feelings, but is willing to test the waters on this, if it just means spending more time with him..
As far as how Sun reacts to Solar and Moon's budding relationship..... Eclipse has been his willing sex slave locked in his room secretely for a month at that point so he hadn't noticed.
As far as when this all takes place?
I'm guessing somewhere around the time Eclipse 'died'
But in this au, he survived broken and destroyed and crawled out of the portal like a banshee out of rage and spite and was ready to murder every single celestial animatronic he saw, but had no star power and was too weak to do anything.
Sun just kept him in his room because he didn't know what to do with him, was hesitant to tell Moon the plan didn't work, because now Sun was seeing how pathetic Eclipse actually is, and he doesn't think he wants to kill another person again. So broken Eclipse just kinda stays in Sun's room for a good while.... until Sun slowly starts to repair him (with limited functionality due to lack of resources, he doesn't trust him, and isn't as skilled as Moon, especially without access to parts and service.)
Cue the banter of hateful teasing transformed into flirting and... there you go.
Eclipse won't talk about the past with Sun. He won't. That will take years for him to explain this whole deal. So it's more of a mutually beneficial relationship for them....as they say

Here is part two everyone! I am so sorry this took a while because I've been having writer's block and was having a hard time with my schedule and all. But, I now have the motivation to write and I hope that it will stay so I can write everything including the bonus before version 3.7 comes out.
Thank you for the support in part one!
PART ONE, PART TWO, PART THREE
BONUS:
-Fighting For The Diadem (Cyno, Tighnari, Kaveh, Layla, Faruzan)
Enjoy!
//////
After immediately encountering Layla, you got word from the Akademiya students talking about how intense was the first round, which you now assumed officially ended.
And some students were also predicting the second round already. The second round will come in two days, so every participant has free time.
You were walking around the streets of Sumeru, passing by the ongoing busy roads as the sunset was in place. Your lover said he had urgent business to do. It was weird, but you didn't question it since he's already strange enough. But now that he's gone, you were incredibly bored and basically had nothing to do until he was done.
You thought taking a walk around the city would help, and you could get invested in one of the shops or booths. But, it did not work. If people would've focused on you, they would think you have overworked yourself or something.
You did play a few booths of the Wisdom Gala, but most had completely drained your energy already as some you were struggling to do in their first rounds. It was only the first round of their booths before they released more minigames of their events.
What else can you do? You need entertainment right now. That's what was running through your mind before you stumbled upon Lambad's Tavern. You stood staring at it and decided that maybe a little food would boost you up.
You entered the place, and the relaxing yet delightful music played as soon as you entered. The tavern this time was much busier than before. You see that most of them are Akademiya students. You wondered if it had anything to do with the festival this year.
You stood as you were in line to order. You were staring at your fingernails, not paying attention to anything until you heard someone say your name.
"(Name)?" A voice called behind you. You turned around surprised at seeing someone familiar.
"Oh, hey Tighnari!" You smiled at him.
"I didn't expect to run into you here," He smiled back. "Even though we saw each other, we haven't had a chance to catch up. How are you?"
"Oh, I'm doing good!" You replied. "How about you? Oh, and how's Collei?"
"I'm fine, and she's doing wonderful ever since her recovery."
Tighnari was the Amurta representative in the championship earlier. But you knew him way before that.
You met Tighnari way back when you arrived for the first time in Sumeru. As the new region felt new to you, you spotted Gandharva Ville nearby, and Tighnari allowed you to stay for a while. You two hit off very well and became acquaintances to good friends quickly. When you felt like you overstayed your welcome, you bid goodbye to him and haven't seen him since.
"So, what are you doing here?" Tighnari asked you.
"Oh, I'm just here for a snack. I've been so bored and tired lately that I thought food might help me." You replied. "What about you?"
"Oh, I'm just waiting for a friend of mine. We just plan on eating here." He answered. But then he spoke again, "Would you like to join us?"
You were surprised. "Huh? But won't you friend mind?"
As if on cue, a white gray-haired male with red eyes came in and walked up to the forest ranger. "Tighnari, there you are. Sorry, I'm late. I just had to finish off some duties."
"It's fine. I just arrived too." He replied.
Cyno then noticed you with a curious look. "Hm? Who's this?"
You sheepishly waved at him as Tighnari introduced you. "Oh, this is (Name), a good friend I'm just catching up with."
Cyno eyed you and stated. "I know you. You're one of Vahumana's representatives earlier in the Championship."
"Heh, yeah, and your Spantamad's representative." You smiled. "Nice to meet you."
"You too." He lightly smiled back.
"Cyno, you wouldn't mind if (Name) sits with us, right?" Tighnari said. "It's just that we haven't seen each other in a while, and I figured this might be a good opportunity to catch up with them. If you're fine with it, of course."
Cyno answered. "No problem, I don't mind at all."
You were nervous sitting with Cyno. You've heard from your friends in Vahumana that the General Mahamatra was terrifying with his cold expression, especially if you defy or combat him. But, to you, he seems like a calm person who didn't mind anything regarding his friends. You did hear that one of your friends said that despite his look, he is a humorous guy around which confused you more.
The three of you sat at a table and ordered your guys' food.
"So, (Name), how has Sumeru been?" Tighnari asked.
"Oh, it's absolutely amazing!" You smiled. "Everything around is truly beautiful and different than any other nation I've been through. Tighnari, I am still thankful for you taking me in when I arrived."
He smiled. "Really, it's no problem at all."
Tighnari then spoke out a random question. "Hey, if you don't mind me asking this and forgive me if this is wrong, but... Is 'Hat Guy' your boyfriend you mentioned?"
You stared at him wide-eyed. "What the!? How- You haven't met him yet!"
"It wasn't that difficult to know," He smirked. "It was obvious how lovey-dovey you both were before in the championship."
You were about to retort something until a waiter came in and served the dishes you ordered.
"Say, (Name)," Cyno stared making you look up at him. "Tell me a bit about yourself."
You turned surprised but smiled and told a bit to Cyno, intending to know each other.
...
For the next few hours: you, Tighnari, and Cyno chatted happily in the busy tavern. While catching up with the forest ranger, you immediately got along well with the mahamatra.
"So you don't play TCG?" Cyno asked with bewilderment.
You chuckled. "Well, I do; I got many card collections and decks. But I don't play so much anymore."
"Hmph, I see. Would you be interested in dueling against me?"
"Hmm, sure, I don't mind. But maybe another time."
"Hey," Tighnari chimed in. "Don't tell me you brought your card decks. Seriously, it's like you bring them everywhere with you."
"Well, it's necessary if I find a worthy opponent," Cyno smirked as the male beside him sighed. You sweat-dropped.
"I... I'm not surprised anymore, especially when you were at the cat's tail all day back in Mondstadt's festival and signed up for the championship just for the TCG card." Tighnari shot him a pointed look.
"Now, don't look at me with that card-oed look on your face."
"That joke didn't even make sense."
"Do you want an expla-"
"No."
You chuckled at their bickering but thanked Tighnari for sparing you from Cyno's jokes. You felt an overwhelming feeling of awkwardness when he told off his bad jokes earlier at the table.
You look at the watch in your hand out of habit, then notice how late you stayed in the tavern. Even though the tavern was fully crowded. But you knew you had to get home soon or you'll be suffering from your lover's questioning.
It wasn't anything bad; it's just him being concerned and scolding you. But you don't know if you have the energy to bicker him with today.
"Hey guys," You said. "I'm sorry, but I have to go now."
Tighnari put his attention on you. 'Oh, no worries. It is late after all. I'm glad we got to catch up, (Name)."
"Me too," You thanked, then said to Cyno. "I enjoy talking with you too, Cyno."
"It's no problem," Cyno reassured. "It was nice meeting you too."
You stood up. "Well then, I guess I'll see you soon in the second round of the championship then."
"Indeed, we will see you later." Cyno smiled. You smiled back.
You waved two of your friends goodbye as you walked out of a tavern, being greeted by the cold breeze wind the moment your foot was outside.
After that, you immediately speed-walked on the route back to your home, hugging yourself as it was cold at night. You hoped Wanderer wasn't there yet. But while walking home, you simply imagined you and your boyfriend bickering already.
...
You peeked your head to the main room of your house, seeing that no inch of blue or black and white clothing of Wanderer here. You turned, seeing nothing; everything was just where they were when you left earlier. The house was completely empty. Which means he wasn't here yet.
You silently cheered and thanked the Archons that Wanderer wasn't home. You fully entered the room, closing the front door behind you.
You immediately jumped into the couch and slumped on it, catching a bit of your breath.
'Oh god, it was so cold.' You silently yelled as you still felt the chilly wind from outside. You didn't focus on anything until you hear a voice you wished you didn't want to hear right now.
"Well, well, well, you took your time coming home."
You froze at the voice. You were screaming inside about how the hell did he get home first.
You slowly turn and see at the corner of your eyes his figure leaning against a wall, with his arms crossed and a malicious smirk on his face.
"Uhh, hi?" You muttered with a sweaty uneasy smile. "How... are you?"
You were doomed.
He didn't say anything. He just hummed in response. The silence between you two wasn't making it any helpful.
He walked towards you while his expression remained the same. You put your head down and sighed tiredly but prepared for what he had to say.
But you didn't expect him to sit down next to you, pull you into his arms, and he leaned you onto his chest. His body was on the couch, hugging you from behind as you were seated between his legs, holding his arms with his hands, still surprised.
You weren't expecting it, but you enjoyed it anyway. You closed your eyes as you both enjoyed a peaceful moment of warmth together. After a few moments, you opened your eyes, making eye contact with the man behind you.
"What's this for?" You softly murmured.
He stared, then replied. "I'm tired too. I just want you right now. I won't bother with the lecture today; you already know what I'll be saying anyway."
You softened at his tone and warmth. You learned more as you closed your eyes, smiling. He glanced down at you and smiled as he embraced you tighter. He places a soft kiss on your head.
...
...
[TWO DAYS LATER]
It was now the second round of the Interdarshan Championship. The venue for the second round is in the desert's Aaru Village. All of the contestants had already gathered and chatted as we waited for the next game to start soon.
You stood leaning up against the venue's pillar, closing your eyes as you rested a bit before the round.
You were interrupted when you heard footsteps coming to you. You opened one of your eyes to see Wanderer coming to you.
You raised an eyebrow, but then he leaned and whispered in your ear. "Let's start investigating later, okay?"
You nodded your head as he leaned back out. You glance to the contestants and already see that the Traveler is here.
"Looks like everyone's here." Alhaitham stood up, gaining everyone's attention. "I will now explain the second round to you all."
"There are three Ley Line Disruptors buried in the area around Aaru Village. These devices can imitate the effects of Ley Line disruption and will constantly interfere with the environment. Your goal is to shut them down."
"The first three who manage the finish this task will be awarded four, three, two points, accordingly. Note that each person may only bring a set amount of food and water with them, and that leaving the designated competition zone will result in disqualification."
Everyone immediately started talking to each other and went ahead to go enter the zone.
...
"Ugh, it's so hot." You groaned as you and Wanderer walked around.
"This is even more annoying than the last round." He grumbled. "Whatever, let's just rest for a while and watch everyone scurry."
You both sat down on the sand. You turned to him. "How are you not hot!? You are literally wearing a jacket."
"Did you forget or are you dumb? I'm a puppet. Besides, why are you even whining? I am none of your concern right now." He rolled his eyes.
...
"AH!" You screamed.
Wanderer looked at you with a confused expression. "What?"
"Oh gosh," You said, holding your chest. "That tumbleweed scared me."
"How do you get scared by a tumbleweed?"
"When they go near and hit you, duh."
...
After examining every other participant, you and Wanderer went next to Tighnari to obverse him like the others. You finally find him, but the Traveler and Paimon are also there.
You guys listened in and learned that Tighnari fainted due to the heat. But it seemed that he had finished all of his water.
You focus on them only until you see your boyfriend going up to them and revealing himself.
'What the heck is he doing?' Either way, you decided to follow him
"Humans, such fragile beings," Wanderer chimed as everyone turned to him and see you next to him. "Your bodies can't even survive extreme changes in the environment."
The Traveler raised an eyebrow. "And you considered yourself strong?"
Wanderer ignored them but pulled out one of our waters. "Here, take this. Let him drink it."
Both of the traveling companions raised an eyebrow, but the Traveler took the water from him regardless.
Wanderer walks away, but you stay still. He turns to you. "Let's go."
"Actually," You said. "Is it alright if I stay with them for a while?"
He gave you a confused look. So you said. "It'll only be a minute. I'll just make sure that Tighnari is in good condition."
He hummed and eyed you and him. "Hmm, alright. Don't take too long. Do you know where to find me?"
You nodded.
"Good." Before he went on, you came up behind him and gave him a quick hug and a kiss on his cheek.
He was surprised but grinned. "See you."
"Bye!" You waved as Wanderer left.
You turned to the group to see Tighnari drinking the water already.
After he had finished, you approached the forest ranger. "Are you alright now?"
"I'm feeling a little better now. Thanks." Tighnari said.
You were about to say something else until another voice came in.
"Found you at last." Cyno walked in.
"Cyno! You're here too!" Paimon exclaimed.
"I was concerned, so I came back to check on you." He stated. "Will you be able to go on?
"The fur on my tail is so dry it's practically been singed right off. I don't see any purpose in pushing myself beyond what is reasonable." Tighnari shook his head. "It appears I'm not suited to this particular round - I should probably just return to Aaru Village and rest."
"Really? So you're backing out?" Paimon asked.
He nodded. "Yes. I do have my results in the first round to serve as a buffer, so even if I forfeit this round, I still have a chance to turn things around later. Withdrawing now will allow me to conserve my energy. Continuing to push onward would be counterproductive."
"That's good, Tighnari," You smiled. "I'm glad that you're not pushing yourself or anything like that."
"A wise decision," Cyno agreed. "Let's get you back to Aaru Village."
"Ugh... It's fine, I can make it back on my own." Tighnari groaned.
Paimon exclaimed. "Oh, stop trying to be so polite. Come on, we'll help you back to Aaru Village!"
...
...
Everyone entered a cave that was a quick way to enter Aaru Village.
"How are you feeling now, Tighnari?" Paimon asked. "Do you want to rest some more?"
"There's some shade here, so we can stop for a while," Cyno suggested. Tighnari agreed to it.
Everyone kept walking in the area further until they saw a familiar Rtawahist figure.
"Oh, Cyno, Tighnari, and (Name)... and you've got the Traveler and Paimon with you!"
"Hello, Layla," You greeted her with a warm smile.
"The sun was too strong, so I decided to take cover here for a while," Layla muttered. "What about you? Are you all done already?"
Tighnari shook his head in response. "Unfortunately not. I'm not quite as capable as I thought… I intend to withdraw from this round. Cyno, (Name), and the Traveler are escorting me back to Aaru Village."
"W-Withdraw? Can you even do that?" Layla asked surprised.
"Yes, you can if you want to." You answered. "Alhaitham says leaving and returning to Aaru Village is a disqualification of the second round."
"Didn't I ask if you were already before this? If you had just decided to withdraw then, you wouldn't have had to suffer." Cyno said to Tighnari.
He replied. "Well, I had to try, didn't I? So I tried, and it didn't work out - and now I'm backing out while I can."
As they were conversing with each other, you noticed Layla looking a bit troubled.
"Layla, is something wrong?" You asked.
"Oh, uh-" Layla stuttered. "No, it's just I feel a little faint when I entered the desert. But I feel a lot better after resting here for a while."
"Be careful not to push yourself too hard!" Paimon reminded.
"Don't worry, I'm just..." Layla paused.
Cyno finished her sentence. "Feeling the pressure?"
"Huh? You can tell?"
"Your expression is similar to the ones I see on criminals' faces when I interrogate them."
Layla sighed. "To tell you the truth, I'm not sure whether I have what it takes to represent the Rtawahist Darshan in the Championship."
She tells how people voted for her as the representative because of the rumors about me, and Layla then tells she doesn't know how to deal with their expectations. Many and even people who criticize her voted for her, so she felt like she had to live up to their expectations.
"So, their expectations are putting pressure on you?" Tighnari clarified.
She nodded in silence.
"Hmm, I see," You started as she turned to you. "I understand your situation, it's understandable to feel this way, Layla."
"But, I'm going to say this. Having a lot of pressure on yourself isn't good because then you won't be able to achieve anything. People obviously have their reasons to vote for you, but I think the people from your Darshan who do care about you wouldn't want you to be put under pressure. It's important to not push yourself."
Layla stared at you in surprise.
Tighnari spoke up. "I agree. We are researchers. Our primary duty is to interact with knowledge, not to meet others' expectations."
"Even though I got voted as well, I decided to take part in this competition to advertise for an academic lecture at Gandharva Ville next month. I'll obviously try my best during the competition, but I won't let any additional pressure get to me."
"I think you can also try to find a clearly defined goal. That may help you." He finished.
Layla nodded. "I understand. Thanks for your pieces of advice."
"Phew... I'm absolutely parched after talking so much." Tighnari sweatdropped.
" I've still got some water with me." Cyno offered.
His friend shook his head. "No, I'll be alright. We aren't far from Aaru Village, so I can go the rest of the way myself. You should get back to the competition. Don't you want to win that limited-edition card?"
"Yes. Alright then, your spirit will live on through me."
"...Hey, don't talk like that. I'm not dead, Cyno." Tighnari shot him an annoyed look.
"Everyone, I'll be heading back now. See you after the round ends." He said before walking away to Aaru Village.
Cyno walked in the opposite direction. "I'll continue searching for the Ley Line Disruptors."
"Hmm, well, it seems I should head back." You said. "I'll see you guys later."
"Hey, (Name)," Layla said. You turned to her. "Thank you. For what happened in the first round, and thank you for your advice."
You chuckled. "It's no problem. I hope you'll feel better, Layla."
You waved the three goodbyes as you made your way back to the competition grounds.
...
...
After a while, you found Wanderer at the west entrance of Aaru Village. He was looking at the scenery, seeming to be deep in thought.
"Hey," You said skipping over to him, while he turns to look at you.
"Oh, good. You're here." Wanderer crossed his arms. "Listen, since we don't have any leads, I figured we can ask people about that incident. I think we should start in Aaru Village."
"Hmm, do you think they would know something about it?" You asked.
"Well, it's not guaranteed they would know exactly, but we can try asking and we could learn a bit about what happened-" Wanderer stopped his sentence as he sees something behind you.
You turned to see the Traveler and Paimon coming towards you. Wow, it's like they're everywhere and have incredible free time to check up on every contestance one by one.
Paimon exclaimed. "Looks like someone's taking it easy!"
"You should be thrilled that we have nothing to do. Otherwise, that means someone's in for a very, very bad day." He smirked.
"But if you guys don't get any points this round, you won't have a shot at winning!"
You shrugged. "Well, we really don't have intentions to win."
Wanderer added. "Really, the real prize for me is watching all these people fight over something so useless. Oh, you've reminded us of something. There shouldn't be any more incidents after this round. If you'll excuse us, we have somewhere to be."
You and Wanderer walked away, leaving the Traveler and Paimon dumbfounded.
...
You guys entered Aaru Village by passing the sub-venue. Alhaitham and Nilou seemed to notice you two entering and took note that both of you had forfeited like Tighnari.
You and Wanderer entered the area of the village that is near the Village Chief's house. The two of you split up around Aaru Village to ask as many people as possible.
You briefly asked the villagers nearby but found nobody seemed to know anything. But someone did tell you that a guy named 'Huvishka' knows something about a past championship twenty years ago.
You finally found the said person. You asked what he thought of this year's Interdarshan Championship.
Huvishka tells you that he was rooting for Cyno because of his skills as the General Mahamatra and that the Spantamad Darshan has the highest percentage of champions. But during his sentence, he mentioned that the most exciting competition was still 'twenty years ago.'
You asked about that championship twenty years ago.
"At that time, my friend also participated in the game, and I went there to cheer for him. The last round was played in Avidya Forest. In the end, no one dared to approach them, and no one knew what was going on in the depths of the forest…" He tells you.
"Then I heard the Akademiya shut down the competition. Later, the Interdarshan Championship removed many of the events in which people fought to the death, discouraging people from being desperate enough to do so."
"So, what was your friend like?" You asked.
"Let me think. He's honest and kind, but he's also vulnerable and sensitive. Most of all, he cares about us. When we drink together, our time is filled with laughter and cheer." He answered. "It's just too bad that it's all in the past now. Among the friends we drank with, some died, some disappeared, some now live in seclusion… They say fate is fickle. Perhaps it's true."
You hummed, gathering and taking note of the information you had just received.
...
"Deserts are much more dangerous at night, so this competition should be nearing its end. At the moment, only Faruzan, Layla, and Kaveh remain," said Alhaitham.
Nilou muttered. "I wonder who the next person to find a disruptor will be..."
"Wait, only three people are left? Tighnari forfeited, and Cyno's already done… What about (Name) and Hat Guy?" Paimon questioned.
"They also forfeited not long ago," Alhaitham answered.
Paimon groaned. "Paimon can't understand what they're thinking at all... But like Alhaitham said — the round's almost over. Let's go see what the other contestants are doing!"
...
You and Wanderer met back near the Village Chief's house and told each other about what you learned from the villagers. Wanderer says he hasn't had that much information as he states that nobody seemed to know anything related to the incident.
You tell him about your conversation with Huvishka.
"Hmph, I see. Twenty years ago..." Wanderer muttered.
"We didn't get that much information than we hoped, but at least we have some sort of lead." You said. "Now what should we do?"
"Ugh, this desert isn't too much to my liking. Let's just leave." He suggested.
"Huh? Can we leave?"
"Well, we gave up this round, remember? Why couldn't we leave if we have nothing to do now?" He stated. "Besides, didn't you say that Amurta's representative drop out this round? Well, he's not here anymore, so he probably left too."
"Hm, I guess." You muttered.
...
...
It was now nighttime, and you heard briefly that the championship had officially ended the second round, and the final round would commence in two days.
You hear that Cyno and Layla have taken first place while the rest in descending are Tighnari, Faruzan, Kaveh, and you and your boyfriend.
You know well that neither of you can't be winners. But whoever the winner will be decided in the third and final round.
And during this time, you and Wanderer found out a bit about the incident twenty years ago, so you both consider it a benefit from the competition.
After you guys left, you both went to your shared home back in Sumeru City. Since the desert was very far away from there, you guys arrived when nighttime came in. But you both didn't care.
...
Wanderer's lips were on yours as his tongue danced with yours. You forgot what happened, but after arriving in your shared house, you and Wanderer are locked in a make-out.
He pinned you up with his hand pressed against the wall, and his other hand was behind, holding your neck. You had one of your hands on the side of his cheek while your other hand was caressing the back of his head.
Every time you pull away for only a second, you and he pull each other back in a heated kiss. His lips were all over your face, but he was mainly on your lips.
After a while, you felt tired so you pulled him back by grabbing his shoulders. He focused his attention on you.
"Okay, that's enough," You smiled.
He raised an eyebrow. "I'm not done yet."
You playfully rolled your eyes, as you walked away from him to the kitchen, ignoring his calls to you.
...
(author: idk what i did at the make-out scene - btw i do suggestive themes, but not full on smut so don't ask for that lol)
