I listened to it on loop while drawing! #Good music to chill out to before you fly into a rage. #This episode really cements how JGY's mind works - It is a matter of long-term outcomes at the sake of nearly everything else. #Morals do not matter to him if the outcome is more favourable. #and at the center of it all - he has learned that the only person he can truly trust is himself. #In turn - the only person his actions benefit are himself. #He will do anything and everything it takes to reach a position of power - not just for the power. But because it means safety. #Because it was something he was denied and the idea of not having control in his life again is unforgivable. #'Happiness' isn't a goal. We are looking at someone still stuck at the bottom of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. #Everything and everyone is a piece in a game. Bonds and friendships are assets. People are dispensable. #He wants to climb for the sake of climbing. He wants praise and recognition because he feels it is deserved. It's all so hollow. #We could go deeper into his psyche on this. #But these are also tags under a comic in which 'evil penis music' is the punchline.

#thank you anon I've been wanting to draw proper lizard fashion for a while and this gave me the motivation I needed #dracula daily #re: dracula #dracula #lizard fashion #The colours I chose here make Drac look like Harry Du Bois - which is appropriate given how I tend to depict his personality in my shitpost #bonus under the cut featuring Dracula's Weed Smorking Girlfriends #personally I really like the theory that the three vampire women are actually dracula's wife and two daughters #since the book never actually calls them his wives and the two subordinate girls are specifically described as looking similar to him #the idea that he turned his family but is no longer capable of loving them (or being loved by them) adds a whole extra layer for me #because he still goes through the motions - goes out to get them food (babies) and provide for them/fulfil the role of a patriarch #but its hollow and loveless and done out of strange obligation/habit - like an echo of being alive #BUT for the sake of comedy I will always draw them as his three weed smorking girlfriends because it's just funnier #or rather as I like to think of them - his three weed smoking EX-girlfriends who spend all day making fun of him and and freeloading #I'm going to tag any art with them in it from here on out as #the ex-wives of dracula #he's going to england to escape their ridicule

Wait wait I just scrolled by a mutual that reblogged your Godseeker-Comic. Is that an AU? Is there more of this? This is so interesting! I have never seen Godseeker turning to be a part of Void. Mostly just always getting killed by it.

I hope you're doing more with this concept in one way or another because this is a really interesting idea!

ouuu thank you 🥺❤️ its not really an au, its more like my interpretation of a continuation to the embrace the void ending!! :D I think most people are not aware that she canonically doesnt die, and take the ending at face value.... its kind of hard to explain for me since even i am not 100% sure what exactly happens lol but i like to think that theyre perpetually linked or fused together in some weird way. and i feel that this result is pretty intentional from both sides.

Godseeker mentions that they seek gods to "clutch at their greatness and immortality", which i assume that with 'clutch' she means that these traits would be shared with the Godseekers through the "Godly focus" thing. And the knight, besides the fact that it proved its strenght against the local strongest beings, it posesses (via the Void Heart) the void under its will, which is literally said to be an "eternal" force that "denies time", ie immortal.

and this union of sorts would be beneficial for the knight as well, as it can go into Holy Beast mode at just about anytime it wants, which is a really awesome powerup if u ask me. That and also (in my headcanon) it does like her. very much :-)

This is another OC I've been dying to share for Ages- Here's my Sword and Shield dude, Hollow Thorne.

Basically, he's "if one of those creepy 'I see dead people' kids in horror movies grew up to be an adult" and I love him.

As for his story, his whole "deal" is that he's a mysterious dude that travels and camps around the Galar region with an interest in the tale of the Two Heroes. (Particuarly the legendary pokemon) His only explanation is he has "someone to thank". Extensive bio under the cut:

Name: Hollow Thorne Age: Mid/Late-20s Home Region: Galar Favorite Type(s): Ice/Ghost Voice Claim: Damon Albarn (This could probably change if I find a better voice.) Pronouns: He/Him (Weirdo transmasc dude swag) Sexuality: (Grey) Gay/Ace Personality: While he looks a bit spooky and intimidating at first sight, he's actually a bit of a softie! Especially when it comes to his Pokemon team. He's a weirdly morbid sense of humor and absolutely no sense of self-preservation. Story:

Hollow comes from a family of mediums and morticians, and basically grew up around the concept of spirits and the afterlife. And from a young age, he could speak with ghosts and spirits. So he had, uh. a weird childhood. But a good one nonetheless, so he can't complain. When he was a child, he was saved by Zacian/Zamazenta (depending on the game version) after he got lost in the woods one day. After that, he became obsessed with the legends of the Two Heroes of Galar and the involved legendaries. Soon after he joins the gym challenge alongside his close friend from Spikemuth, Piers. And this experience was his first taste of adventure around Galar. So growing up, he had a desire to travel all around Galar to search for the pokemon who saved him long ago. He travels around the region in search of the pokemon who saved him. And during his travels, he comes across many different pokemon. Two of the pokemon he befriends particularly stand out, however. The first is his Froslass, Ami, who he found while exploring the mountains. This Froslass turned out to be a missing researcher who disappeared and sadly passed while on an expedition. The second is a lone Phantump he discovered in the forest who, tragically, turns out to be the soul of a lost boy named Percy. With these two pokemon, he finds a second goal of bringing them both peace. But for the most part, he's just vibing while travelling and camping around Galar and being his weirdo self. Here, she’s the boss/leader of an evil, hidden organization called the Infection. She’s filthy rich, and quite famous as someone who’s very rich, but not many know that she’s leading the evil organization. However, even so, she still gives off sinister vibes in the civilian world, and she’s absolutely very scary. And yeah if someone even thinks about going against her, she has very, VERY effective threats. She’s extremely powerful, organization or not.

AKA she’s almost like Batman except she’s running an evil organization and she hardly tries to hide her menacing aura

I genuinely do love the prison arc and find it fascinating and I wish it was easier to find content and analysis about it that didn't veer to any of the Very Not Fun extremes

Ah yes, not posting since September... again, my bad  But I once more return (I dont know for how long) to bring you more AU content!  More so a planned scene with Hollow trying to be nice to Lace before they’re friends friends, since Hollow also judged Lace because of ehem cough ehem cough SHE TRIED TO KILL THEIR SISTER-- So in this part of the story, they’re trying to make it up to her and be friendly,,,, hence why when they notice her umbrella is broken and she’s pissed off about it-- they offer to become her umbrella..... very cool Hollow activities.  (Also FINALLY HOLLOW IN ARMOR!! Is that a surprise??? It’s akin to their armor as the Pure Vessel, but ofc a different color because silver does not go with this red)
