It's time for the Weekly Bangtan Report!

Happy Birthday Hobi! Neuron Crew has posted a happy birthday tribute on their social media channels. Here is the video on YouTube:

Neuron Crew are a group of Hobi's dance colleagues and friends from pre-debut. He's known them since middle school. This video was shot at Daedong Plaza in Gwuangju, Hobi's hometown city.

I was wondering last time if we'd see him in between training groups and here he is! The birthday boy himself was out and about. He saw his birthday banners and posters! I suspect this is possibly near his apartment building.

Namjoon.... there is that sus image of him playing the saxophone in a red military band uniform (not gonna post the pic). Is it an edit? Ok, so let's think about this.

When have we ever heard Namjoon say he knows how to play the saxophone? That would be approximately zero times he's ever said that. You'd think we would have had some Taehyung/RM interactions or conversations over the years involving saxophones. Nothing.

Do you know how hard it is to learn to play a wind instrument?

And there is only that one single suspicious image. Usually there are multiple weird sneaky angles, blurry shots, etc. I'm just saying I remain skeptical until I hear more from a different source, or from Joon himself. I've seen several pics supposedly of Jimin and Jungkook, one of them sitting in a cafeteria that looked hella real and then the original pic is shown and it's just... wow... edits can be very deceiving.

Joon posted a Lunar New Year message to us on Weverse:

That song was important for BTS, it was their first TV music show win and it was IMPORTANT and a big WIN for them that broke the door open. They were about to give up!

Be flattered that BTS is of a calibre that other well-known artists want to cover their songs! That being said, if you don't like the way they covered the song, fine, just move on, there's no need to be mean-spirited about it.

Last weekend, a Japanese TV show seemed to tease/spoil a hint that possibly high profile celebs stayed at a resort in a town outside Sapporo recently... the hint was "Dynamite." This was the resort:

Alright Darling, I won't deny that this insert ask is totally about me. It would just be a straight up lie. Headcannon reactions for BTS with a female partner who doesn't have a submissive bone in her body. Now normally this sort of ask is about presuming that BTS is sub or dom as per our request wishes. This, isn't that. How do you think each member would react as per how YOU see them, sub, dom, switch or none of the above? How would each member make a relationship work with a woman who won't kneel or sub, because it just isn't who she is? Do the subs celebrate? Kim Namjoon:

"I'm being inconsiderate?!"

Namjoon could only deflate into a low grumble when your voice boomed through the small room.

"You've missed the most important occasion that you know I've been so excited about, and I'm being inconsiderate?"

"You're not getting it, (Y/n)," Namjoon shook his head, wanting to come closer to you but knowing better than doing that.

"I couldn't miss the show."

"But you could miss my birthday?!"

"(Y/n)..." Namjoon dug his fingers into his eyebrows. "Please understand, I'm the leader-"

"And I'm nothing to you, am I right?"

"No!" He exclaimed, eyes wide. "Why would you even say that?"

"I don't like celebrating my birthday for this very reason, Namjoon," you spoke in a small voice, turning to face away from him.

"You know, you know that I've spent so many birthdays alone, with no wishes, no one to get me a cake. Nothing. I thought it would be different this year because I have you. But I was wrong. I shouldn't have expected anything because I'm the one who's hurt."

"Baby," he whispered, taking just one step in your direction. "I'm so fuckin' sorry. Please know that."

"I don't. I don't want to know anything, okay?" You snapped, holding your hand up in the air for emphasis. "I just want to be alone. Can't you do that?"

"I have to leave in two days again, (Y/n)!" He whined, throwing his hands up into the air. "I came to spend time with you, why can't we just be normal? What would it take, for me to get on my knees and apologize?"

You turned to look at him in disbelief.

"Really nice of you to think I'll be all fine and happy if you do that, Namjoon."

"Then what do I do?!" Namjoon huffed in exasperation. "I'm trying, okay? It's not like I can go back in time and be there for your birthday. It's gone! I can't do anything about it! The only thing I can do is make it up to you, take you out, celebrate with you again!"

You nodded stiffly.

"You're right, Namjoon. You're absolutely right. But I don't want to do any of that. I want to just... not be with you right now."

"(Y/n), please," Namjoon sighed deeply. "Please- just...let's just look past this, please."

"I'm sorry that I'm finding it difficult to do that, Namjoon," you tried to explain. "All I think of when I see your face is how I felt when you weren't there. It reminds me of the pain of being alone and I just don't want to feel that way again. Is that too much to ask of you?"

Namjoon looked pained.

"Okay, (Y/n)," he breathed out. "I'll go. But I'll be back, and I hope you know that I won't be leaving the next time I'm here."

"We'll cross the bridge when we get to it, Namjoon."

Kim Seokjin:

"(Y/n)..."

Jin delicately wiped away the tear that slipped past his lower lid.

"Baby, I..."

Kneeling beside you, Jin placed the bouquet of white roses on your lap.

"I'm so sorry, darling."

A dry chuckle buzzed through your chest.

"You finally showed up."

"I'm so sorry," he apologized in a broken whisper. "This shouldn't have happened. Not now."

"Doesn't change anything," you admitted in a flat voice. "She's gone."

Jin's head dropped in shame and regret.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be there."

"I feel sorry for myself too, you know?" You turned to look at him who was kneeling by your side, his trembling hands folded together.

"I feel sorry for waiting for you. I feel pathetic."

"I'm sorry," he mumbled again. "I really wish I could've been there."

You weren't there for me when I needed you the most. You promised you would when the day would come, that you'd hold my hand and strengthen me. But the day came and the pain followed but the only one that didn't come was you."

"(Y/n)," he inhaled sharply, taking a hold of your hands in his clammy ones. "No words can describe the way I feel. I am so sorry, I would've given everything to make it to you in time. But I-"

"When she was alive, you promised you'd be there. That you'd carry her to her grave. That you'd be there to wipe every tear that fell from my eye because she could no longer do it. But you didn't. You didn't, Jin. It was not just me that you failed. You failed my mom too."

"Forgive me," he pleaded with teary eyes. "I'm so deeply sorry, (Y/n), I can't- I can't tell you how much I tried. I just-"

"Please go," you asked of him in an exasperated sigh. "Go back to where you came from. I want to be alone."

"Baby-"

"Just go."

With one last look at the broken expression that you didn't bother hiding from him, Jin nodded, delicately kissing your knuckles.

"I'll go from here, but I'm not leaving."

Min Yoongi:

"Well, good morning sunshine," you rolled your eyes upon seeing Yoongi set the table. "Guess who's on their man period today."

"Sit," Yoongi snapped, narrowing his eyes at you.

"Damn, funny to see you having a reason to be upset with me."

"Why'd you drink so much yesterday, (Y/n)?"

You looked at the bowl of hangover soup that he placed at the table, dragging the chair out and wordlessly gesturing for you to take a seat. Which you didn't, of course.

"I don't see how that's any of your concern."

"You were sleeping outside the house, for god's sake! What if I didn't come home? You'd have fallen sick, or something could have happened!"

"It should have," you said, looking him dead in the eye. "You didn't come anyway, so don't speak as though any of this bothers you."

"Don't," he warned in a low voice. "Don't get there."

"Oh, I should," you insisted. "I waited, you know? I waited for you, I thought you'd show up when I walk up to the stage, I thought you'd cheer for me - which is so unlike you but forgive me for thinking it would be different this time!"

"(Y/n)-"

"Shut up!"

Yoongi froze, too stunned to speak.

"Aren't you even ashamed? Not even a little bit? Your members showed up, Yoongi! They cheered for me, but you? You're too busy collaborating with people who are begging to have you work with them!"

"What's wrong with doing that?" Yoongi frowned at your accusation.

"What's wrong?" you parroted with a laugh of disbelief. "Nothing's wrong with doing that, Yoongi. What is wrong is that you couldn't be there for me."

"I'm sorry, okay?"

"Well, it's not okay, Yoongi. You can take your apologies and this stupid fake concern-" you pointed to the soup, "and stick it up!"

"It's not fake," he defended with a scowl. "You're telling me your head isn't aching right now?"

You laughed in his face.

"It is, Yoongi. It is, but I don't want you to take care of me. It hurts because I drank too much trying to drown the pain of you not being there even though you promised!"

"(Y/n)..."

"You're so fucking heartless," you scoffed. "You sent me one text, one text! 'Sorry baby, I can't be there today, got an important meeting,' an hour before the ceremony began! I feel so embarrassed to even think that you were joking and you'd actually turn up."

Yoongi sighed deeply, scratching his eyebrow and looking away.

"What do you want me to do now?"

"Are you seriously asking me that?" you scoffed. "Get out of my house!"

"Stop being so difficult, (Y/n)," Yoongi took a step closer to you. "Look, I'm sorry I couldn't be there. But don't-"

"I don't want to hear it, Yoongi. It's disappointing to see you here now and not when I needed you. I hope you know just how much you've hurt me."

"Baby," Yoongi frowned. "I'm really sorry, love. I sent you so many texts after that but you didn't read them."

"Why? Feel bad now?" You taunted.

He shook his head. "I told you I'd be there a few hours late, (Y/n). I wanted to take you out for dinner."

"A bit too late for that, now."

"I'm sorry, (Y/n)," Yoongi genuinely apologized. "Please."

"Just go back home, for now, Yoongi. I don't want to see you right now."

Jung Hoseok:

"(Y/n)..." Jimin sighed for the fourth time that evening. "Hoseok hyung is calling, again."

"I don't want to talk to him," you muttered stubbornly, playing with the edge of your hospital gown. "Let him suffer."

"Goodness," Jimin chuckled helplessly at your words, setting his phone down and shaking his head.

"It's too much, you know?" He tried to convince you. "He doesn't even know which hospital we're in."

"I don't care. He brought this upon himself."

"He's human too, (Y/n)," Jimin sighed softly. "We're all very stressed, but Hoseok hyung is taking it worse than most of us. Partly because of your health."

"You're trying to say that he's worried about my health?" You looked into Jimin's eyes with tears glistening in your own. "Might be, when I'm not around. But when he's with me, he's only ever worried about work."

"It's been a week," he urged. "He's desperate. Just talk to him once, tell him you're fine."

"As if you haven't been doing that already," you challenged, watching Jimin's eyes widen in surprise.

"How'd you know?" He asked you.

"I just do."

Jimin's shoulders slumped in defeat.

"He's going mental, (Y/n)."

"I did too, moments before the surgery when he wouldn't answer my call. He can suffer some more."

Jimin finally nodded, looking to the floor sadly.

"I know hyung made a mistake, a big one. I shouldn't even be defending him for what he's done, because I know what it was like. I was there, (Y/n). Hoseok hyung told me to be there in case he couldn't make it in time. But so much happened, the emergency, the change of hospitals, he's really worried, you know? Just...talk to him once, please. For my sake."

"I wouldn't know what to say," you admitted in a whisper. "I'm afraid I'll just cry."

"And that's alright too," Jimin gently spoke, walking closer to your bed to hold your hand. "You have every right to be upset. But avoiding him is not only making him suffer because you're suffering too."

"Why'd you have to sweet talk me, Jimin?" You whined with a pout.

"Because I care for the two of you," he responded with a soft grin. "But I care for myself too, you know? I fear going back and Hoseok hyung throttling me to death because you won't let me tell him where you are."

"Are you sure you haven't told him yet?" You raised your eyebrows in suspicion.

"100 percent," he swore. "I admit, I update him every day about your condition, but never once have I told him where you are. I promise."

You sighed deeply.

"I still don't feel like talking to him. I'm mad at him."

"Then let him talk," he suggested with a laugh.

"He'll probably start crying, but he's been drowning with guilt, I see it on his face every day. And if you wish, you can get mad at him too, yell at him, curse him, he deserves it. But just let him hear your voice, he'll be relieved."

"You're so mean, Jimin," you scowled. "Get me the phone."

Park Jimin:

"Darling..."

Jimin's head was already lowered in shame, taking tiny steps towards your chair on the balcony with a bag in his hand.

"I'm sorry I'm late."

"It's alright," you whispered. "It's over, anyway."

"I'm really sorry, sweetheart," he stood before you for a moment before kneeling down and offering you the beige bag.

"It's a present that I bought for you. A while ago."

"What for?"

Jimin sighed. "Our anniversary, of course."

"The one that you forgot?"

"I didn't-" Jimin looked exasperated. "I didn't forget it, Jagi. I just... I don't know. I don't have an excuse."

You sniffled, setting the empty can of beer beside your chair and moving to stand up.

"(Y/n)," he stopped you by your arm. "Don't go, let's talk, please."

"I don't have the strength to talk, Jimin," you murmured gently. "I just want to sleep."

"I'm sorry," he spoke with urgency. "Really. I just got so caught up with work that I-"

"It's okay, Jimin," you dismissed his attempt at explaining. "I already told you, it's okay."

"But it's not," he frowned deeply, pulling your elbow softly until you were facing him. "I can see it in your eyes, it's not okay, you're not okay."

"There's not much I can do about it," you shrugged tiredly. "I'm going to bed."

"Baby," he pleaded with tears in his eyes. "Please."

"Jimin," you sighed. "I'm exhausted, okay? I haven't been sleeping well and today- yesterday," you corrected yourself, "was a busy day. I cooked a lot and did a bunch of stuff but..."

Jimin looked at his feet regretfully.

"I'm sorry it all went to waste," he said softly.

You nodded. "Yeah, I'm sorry too."

"You don't need to be sorry for anything," he told you, briefly catching your eye and exhaling shakily when your gaze faltered.

"It's me that should be sorry. I kept you waiting, I missed such an important day. Our day, and I'm so deeply sorry for that."

"Okay, Jimin," you whispered. "I'm going to bed."

"Baby," he sounded like he was on the verge of tears.

"Can I at least... can I hug you? Just once."

You looked down at the way he was gripping the last three fingers of your hand, not wanting to let you go just yet.

"Please," he asked you once more. "I know I'm late, but I want to celebrate us, six years of us. Let me just hold you once, please."

Your head dipped in time to hide the tear that fell from your right eye, a slight shake of your head leaving Jimin in pieces.

"I don't think I want that right now, Jimin."

Kim Taehyung:

The moment your eyes locked with Taehyung's, the smile that was on your face vanished. He walked briskly until he was by your side, tugging at your shirt and pulling you closer to him.

"Why are you here?"

"I'm sorry, Jagiya," he murmured under his breath. "I couldn't come today."

"No shit," you rolled your eyes. "Why are you here now? After everything is done with?"

"I... I just wanted to, uh..."

"Just go back, Taehyung," you shrugged his arm off of you. "You've really disappointed me today. I don't see the point in you being here right now."

"Can I talk to your mom?" he asked urgently. "Let me apologize, please. She invited me over and I couldn't come, I need her to know that."

"Don't you worry," you scoffed at the worry painted across his face. "I told her you had work. She's quite understanding, I wonder why I didn't get that from her."

"Jagiya," he looked sad. "I'm really sorry. I was just so nervous about the whole plan, there were going to be a lot of people and my manager was really reluctant about me co-"

"They're my family," you cut him off. "They respect me, Taehyung. They wouldn't go around clicking pictures or anything that would make you uncomfortable, but you wouldn't know that because you never showed up, so let's chuck this. Go back, and let me be, okay?"

"No," he shook his head. "I'm sorry for being a coward, okay? Let me meet them now, please. Just your parents. I'll apologize. I'll make sure this won't happen again."

"I don't want you to meet them right now," you decided. "I don't want them to see you and me in this state, alright? So just go."

"(Y/n), please, I'm so sorry." He took a hold of your hand.

"I should've spoken to you about everything. That was really wrong of me, and I accept that, please- just... just forgive me this time, please, it won't happen again."

"You sound so ridiculous," you laughed dryly. "Look, Taehyung. I'm not in the mood to deal with you right now. I've been pissed off the whole evening telling everyone that you were caught up with work and I just couldn't take the disappointment on their faces, okay? It was... I don't know, it made me feel horrible. And you being here is not making anything better."

"God, I'm so sorry, ugh," Taehyung groaned, throwing his head back in frustration. "I feel like such a jerk."

"You are," you nodded. "I might regret this later but I'm really upset right now, and you're the last person I want to see. So just... just go back, will you?"

"Can't I stay?" He looked ashamed to even ask such a question. "I'll not disturb you, just let me be here with you, please."

"Goodness, you're being such a pain in my ass."

"I'll make it up to you, I promise you that, Jagiya."

Jeon Jungkook:

"What happened?!"

The loud bang of the door slamming shut almost gave you whiplash from how fast you turned to face Jungkook.

"What?"

"The interview, what happened?"

Jungkook was almost on his knees, huffing and looking into your eyes with concern in his own.

"I totally forgot about it, but what happened? Did you get through?"

You could only stare at him in disbelief.

"Did you?"

"No, Jungkook," you stated simply. "I didn't."

"What the fuck?" His eyes grew wide. "Why?!"

"Why don't you go ask them?" You rolled your eyes, turning back to face your laptop screen. "And shut the door gently while you're at it, will you?"

"Baby, are-" Jungkook coughed, still trying to catch his breath. "Are you upset with me?"

Staring at the screen in front of you, your eye twitched.

"I can't believe you're asking me that."

"You are?" The man had the audacity to seem shocked.

Blinking numbly, you slowly turned to face him with a look of utter disbelief.

"You forgot about my interview - with the company that I've been dreaming of working with for your kind information - you didn't show up, even though you promised you would help me calm my nerves before you'd drive me there, didn't fucking call me once the whole day today and you ask me if I'm upset with you?"

"I forgot... I really did, baby. I suddenly remembered in the middle of practice session today, and I came running instantly."

"Wow, thank you so much for doing me the biggest favor, honestly."

Jungkook frowned, finally noticing how affected you were by the whole situation.

"Babe," he murmured softly, walking to your chair and holding a hand out.

"Don't," you warned him. "Don't even think of touching me right now."

"No," his eyebrows were pinched together, a light pout playing over his lips. "No, of course not. I understand. If you need time, then that's okay. I can leave if you wish."

"But I can stay back if you need me. In any way," he offered gently. "We don't have to talk if you don't want that. But I can cook you dinner, I can clean up, I know that makes you feel more at peace."

"Jungkook, you-"

"Please, let me do this much for you. It's the least I can do, given the situation. Don't say no."

When You Ask Them If They’re Awake ~ BTS Reaction

Jin:

“Jin, are you awake there?” You questioned, tapping ever so slightly on his arm to try and see whether he would stir at the sound of your voice.

“I am now,” he chuckled as he slowly began to stir, opening his eyes to look at you and see what was wrong.

You smiled appreciatively back across at him, “do you mind cuddling me?” You asked, nudging yourself a little bit closer to him, “I don’t want to sleep away from you tonight?”

“Are you alright?” He quizzed as he let you cuddle into his side, wrapping his arms around your frame, “nothing’s happened to you today, has it?”

Your head shook back at him as you settled it against Jin’s chest, “nothing wrong, I just don’t really feel like feeling alone right now.”

“You can talk to me,” Jin reminded you.

“I know, but it’s late, we shouldn’t talk about it now.”

Jin nodded in agreement with you, “tomorrow morning if you want to talk though, you know that you can tell me anything that’s on your mind.”

“I do, and I really appreciate it too.”

Yoongi:

“Are you awake?” You asked Yoongi, lifting your frame up to glance past his shoulder, noticing his eyes shut, but not shut as if he were really asleep.

“No” he responded, scrunching his eyes even tighter as he felt your hands tickling against the side of his waist.

A chuckle came from you as you pushed Yoongi awake even more, “don’t pretend that you’re asleep,” you told him, “I was able to tell you were awake from the start.”

“Can’t you just let a man rest,” Yoongi huffed, reluctantly opening his eyes and rolling onto his back to face you properly, “what’s wrong at this time?”

Your shoulders shrugged with a grin on your face, “nothing really, I just wanted to hear your voice,” you innocently smiled as he groaned yet again.

“Are you kidding right now?” He quizzed.

“No, I really did just want to hear your voice and see you.”

His eyes rolled before shutting them once again, “if you ever disturb me in my sleep again, I will make sure that you regret it Y/N.”

“I’m glad I got to hear your voice.”

Hoseok:

“Hobi, are you awake?” You chuckled, gently poking the figure that was resting beside you, smiling widely as their eyes opened to look across to you.

“What are you disturbing me for?” Hobi asked you, exhausted from yet another long day of rehearsals.

You leant over and pressed a kiss against his cheek, “happy birthday,” you smiled, showing him your phone, as it turned one minute past midnight, the very start of his day.

“Thank you,” he chuckled, unable to stay mad at you for waking him up for such a sweet gesture, “that was the perfect start to my birthday, seeing you.”

Your smile turned up even more, “you can go back to sleep now, I just wanted to be the first to wish you a happy birthday before the boys beat me to it.”

“My phone hasn’t gone yet,” he grinned.

“I can’t wait to tease them that I beat them later.”

Hobi’s head shook at how confident you were, “I hope you’re not going to turn my birthday into a competition with all of the boys?”

“No, but I’ve got bragging rights for a year now.”

Namjoon:

“Joon, please tell me you’re awake,” you pleaded, gently shaking his arm to try and get his eyes to open as you continued to struggle to catch your breath.

“Y/N?” Namjoon quizzed as he heard you panting beside him, “what’s happened?” He asked, opening his eyes.

As soon as Namjoon saw you he wrapped his arms tightly around you, “I had a nightmare,” you whispered, resting your head closely against his chest for some comfort.

“It’s alright,” he assured you, swaying you gently in a bid to calm you down, cringing every time he heard your breath hitch out of fear for you.

It took several minutes for you to come down, eventually able to dry your eyes for the final time. “I didn’t know what else to do so I woke you up.”

“You did the right thing,” he promised you.

“All of it just felt so real, I didn’t know what to do.”

His head shook back at you, “try and forget about it now, everyone is safe, and no one is hurt, whatever you dreamt, that’s all it was.”

“Thank you for being there for me Joon.”

Jimin:

“Jimin, are you awake?” You asked the figure beside you as yet another shiver ran down your spine, struggling to deal with the cold that was in the bedroom.

“What is it?” Jimin questioned, stirring after he was sure that he had heard your voice, running his hands over his face.

As he turned to face you, Jimin could see just how tightly you had the duvet wrapped around yourself. “I’m freezing,” you whispered, with your teeth chattering too.

“You want me to warm you up?” Jimin asked, knowing you all too well as he brought his arm out from under the duvet, inviting you in to curl up at his side.

Immediately you felt a little warmer as you rested against him, “I would have got up and got a blanket, but I didn’t know where any where around here.”

“It’s not as good as me,” he chuckled.

“That’s true, nothing warms me up like you do.”

To make you even warmer, Jimin began to run his hand up and down your arm, “do you feel warm enough to be able to go back to sleep now?”

“I do, you’ve made feel nice and toasty.”

Taehyung:

“A-are you awake?” You murmured quietly across to Taehyung, unable to tell with his back facing you, blocking his face from your line of vision to check on him.

“No,” a groggy voice whispered back to you, as frustrated as you were by how difficult it was for him to get off to sleep.

Taehyung slowly turned so that he was able to look across at you. “I’ve not been able to close my eyes yet,” you admitted, only to see Taehyung nodding back at you.

“Maybe if we’re not tired, we should do something,” he suggested, “we both can’t spend the night laying in bed with wide open eyes, we’ll never rest doing that.”

Your head nodded at his suggestion, “have you got any ideas for something that we can do, something that won’t disturb any of the others too?”

“Shall we watch something?” He proposed.

“Maybe another episode of that drama we like?”

Taehyung slowly sat himself up to grab his laptop, “I’m sure an hour of romance will help us get off to sleep, and if it doesn’t, then I say we just give up.”

“We watch as many episodes as we want to.”

Jungkook:

“Kook are you awake,” you whispered, gently poking against his arm as you glanced past his frame to his alarm clock, surprised to see just how late it was.

“Y/N, what’s wrong?�� He murmured, slowly stirring and rolling onto his side so that he could face you and see what was up.

You smiled weakly as his eyes opened to see you staring back at him, “I’m hungry,” you whispered, giggling softly, “are there any snacks in the kitchen that I can have?”

“You woke me up because you’re hungry?” Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head at how rubbish of a reason it was, “you could just go and have a look in the kitchen.”

Your head shook back at him, “this isn’t my home, I don’t want to go in and end up eating one of the boys’ snacks, they’ll be mad at me tomorrow morning for it.”

“Shall I find you something?” He offered.

“You can just tell me what’s in there, I’ll find it.”

Jungkook pulled the duvet back, “I’ll come too, you’ve got me thinking about food now too, I’m not going to sleep now unless I satisfy this sweet craving.”

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to make you hungry too.”

"13일 🐤" Jimin Birthday Live

I guess this is the best way to end Jimtober...by finally catching up...

Jimtober don't leave me! Seriously though. We had zero Jimin than all the Jimin at once and it didn't give me time to process each thing until now. But we got a very Jimin filled Jimtober and that was way more than I was asking for.

We should have expected a chick cake when Jimin used the little chick emoji on his live title.

It was so cute! Jimin and his piñata chick cake filled with Jimins!

Namjoon also showed up and reminded me why I missed minimoni so much. I loved minimoni.

They laughed at the photo Tae had sent Jimin. And Namjoon flustered Jimin a bit when saying "I love you" lol Jimin didn't know how to respond.

Notable things Jimin talked about:

•All the members gave him birthday wishes

•His plan to have seaweed soup with his family that his mother would prepare

•His worry for Jungkook who is working too hard. This made Jimin pout and then he laughed it off when he caught himself slipping.

•His really complicated dilemma on whether he should straighten his teeth. He is such a baby. Spent some seconds pouting and thinking out loud.

•His plans (music-wise) that I will consider spoilers because this is the type of world I want to live in.

•Ahhh how his shirt wasn't inside out... because he was asked this like 20 times. And how he looked tired because he didn't sleep well last night...welp. At least the fans didn't keep asking about that.

The shirt being inside out thing gave us this so I won't complain:

•His appreciation towards the fans who made his birthday special

It's nice that the best birthday present on Jimin day is Jimin himself.

He’s however able to see all of the hardships this person has been through and their shortcomings.He sees them try really hard to acknowledge their darker sides and welcome their shadows, he knows they have been hurt, disappointed and left behind a lot but still find the strength to go forwards and heal and learn from the past, wether from their mistakes or things out of their control.For a long time, they were stuck in a cycle of wishing for the wrong things and getting or wishing for things in the wrong way, for example wanting success at whatever costs including their inner truth or wanting a person so bad they’d sacrifice too much for them when its not worth it.This is someone who has had their views of the world shattered,have seen their empire crumble again and again and again, but still rises stronger, kinder and fiercer each time.It’s funny because their energy feels very fierce and its like they’re aware they’re coming off that way but they’re not doing it on purpose.Like so many powerful cards came out because according to Namjoon and Spirit they’re very fierce but i think if you were to meet them they would act a lot softer and delicate and motherly.They’re insisting upon using their strength as a source of comfort rather than a source of protection.

The side cards are The Magician, Strength and nine of wands, which is literally Strong PersonTM Combo.It’s like Namjoon really wants to hammer it down inside of our heads how powerful they are, or maybe he really wants them to see their own power and right now they just don’t.They’re brave, and strong, and soft, and powerful and uuuuugh Namjoon isn’t that enough adjectives?No ?

They’re also kind, a good leader, I heard a good mom but i think its about how much effort they put into making their energy motherly.

“The GCF was not for Jimin’s birthday, don’t know where you got that from, the Tokyo trip wasn’t even for Jimin’s birthday probably. Jimin himself complained about Jk not buying birthday gifts.”

I never said anything about the Tokyo trip being a birthday present. If Beyond The Story explained anything, is that they agreed to go on this trip together as an escape from the hell that was their life at that time. JK posted a picture of Jimin sleeping on his birthday with the caption "it's not over yet" as in he probably had more in store for Jimin's birthday. A couple of weeks later they went on that trip and then when they came back and told us about it, Jimin mentioned how JK took care of everything, from buying the tickets to booking the hotel rooms, to even paying for everything during their stay (and later complaining about how much money he spent because of Jimin's shopping 😭 Very domestic if you ask me)

As for the birthday gifts, Jimin did complain about JK being bad at buying gifts. But in Festa 2017, the members all jokingly interrogated him on why he only bought Jimin a birthday gift on his last birthday (2016, since 2017 Festa was filmed before Jimin's 2017 birthday) Namjoon said, and I quote, “When it was my birthday last year, we didn't have a culture of getting each other birthday presents (…) So I just wondered, because we had Suga hyung, Taehyung, Jin hyung, and Hoseok's birthdays too. But why did he he only give a birthday present to Jimin?" and Jin continued "I saw him giving Jimin a gift so I thought ‘Jungkook started taking care of others!’ but after that he never did it again!” and he added “After I saw him giving Jimin a present I even went to him and told him ‘I want this, Jungkook. I wish you would get me this for my birthday present’ while I was doing something for him. Jungkook said ‘Alright’ and on December 4th he just said ‘Hey, happy birthday!’” — He didn't even try to explain himself, he just listened to them complain about how he exclusively got Jimin a gift and then them switching up and defending him from allegations and saying he's generous and how birthday presents don't matter anyway. So Jimin said “Do we give him time for an explanation?” and gave him the maknae privilege to talk without a time limit as they've been doing initially with all members, but JK only had one thing to say “I will choose your presents more carefully and...” but they cut him off to tell him it's okay and that they don't really want/need gifts especially because he's the maknae, etc. But it's funny how he still never did it again as far as we know.

Jk’s post on Jimin’s birthday to me just looks like it’s referring to the day in question not being over yet. Jimins birthday is October 13th, the GCF was posted November 8th.. how is that connected to Jimin’s birthday, except for Jkkrs assumptions on that?

From the book it became clear that a Bighit employee living in Japan helped them plan the trip. Jk himself said he had no money while shopping. But feel free to send me when they did talk about Jk paying for everything.

Also.. super romantic…

Your birthday gift analysis only shows how Jk is not good at buying birthday gifts for members, including for Jimin.. because only one instance isn’t really proof of anything now is it?

Let’s talk: Busan and what came after

Hi guys!

After waiting in a limbo for four years we finally got the answer, being that the members will go to the military after all, as announced by HYBE a few days ago. I have a feeling that everything is slowly coming together like a puzzle into one whole picture. Of course we could speculate in which order they’ll go, who will go to which type of service and for how long, but I don’t think there really is any true point in that, instead it’s better to just wait and see. We’ll find out soon enough. One thing is clear that Jin will begin this new phase since we will have to say goodbye to him before the end of the year, by the end of this month even. Because of that we’ll be getting Jin’s solo song, The Astronaut, very soon.

With Admin 1 we had a few speculations about the song, the most logical (based on both going to LA at the same time, more or less) that Namjoon would be involved in the song, but we certainly didn’t see Coldplay coming at all. It’s yet another surprise no one had any idea about which only goes to show, once again, that speculating is fun but ultimately pointless. We’ve read at least snippets of the lyrics that were revealed with the album last night and it’s so romantic, and of course officially it’s said to be for ARMY but unofficially? We’ll never find out. So here, too, we won’t speculate about the song but instead wait until the song comes out next week and we get to listen to it and find out more about it from Jin. But looking at stores in our area it’s a bit shocking to see that Jin’s single album will cost about as much as WINGS does. Nonetheless we’re very curious about the song, its MV, and the pictures within the album.

And now a few words about what we got to see last week below the cut:

Starting with Jimin’s birthday. We might not have made a post about it, like we didn’t for JK and Namjoon either, but of course we wished him a happy birthday on social media and thought about him lots. We both thought Tae wouldn’t post anything again, just like he did last year, so we were only so much more surprised that he posted something and that he was the last one. Finally we got another vmin selca which made both of us yell in joy and surprise, even more so when looking at Tae’s emoji choice. And then to make it even more WOW Jimin reposted the wishes to his IG story, the first time he’s ever posted one (and he didn’t repost anyone else wishes, just Tae’s), and Tae went on to like Jimin’s birthday post on IG. The next day Tae also posted a picture of a Jimin bus with Jimin’s head in the frame as he was looking out of the window at the bus. So many cute interactions.

The Busan concert. Unfortunately neither of us was in Busan so we watched the livestream instead which meant that we, too, had to suffer through weverse and naver giving up and thus missed out on at least 3 songs which was very upsetting. So we’re thankful to vminies who were at the concert who caught all the cute vmin interactions and shared them with us, especially since there was quite something to catch.

As for the whole group itself, they presented themselves quite maturely and powerful on stage. You can feel that they are grown men and not a group of boys anymore. Sure there is still that freshness and enthusiasm for performing and giving their best, that they are still loving it and having fun, but their behavior and visuals have evolved and matured alongside them.

Since Tae is my bias I’ll start with him and I’ll admit that I’m very proud of Tae, who in my opinion has evolved quite a lot vocally since we last heard him at the Las Vegas concerts. He’s truly using his voice like an instrument and in a way that he knows exactly how to move us emotionally and how to touch us. His voice is completely different from the other members. I’ve seen a few snippets from the rehearsals where Tae showed us his opera like singing and it was brilliant, if he wanted to, he could take up a role like that, too.

All the members were brilliant, really. It was sad though that Jin had issues with his throat leading up to the concert and you could see it in a few spots that his throat was giving him a bit of a trouble still. I certainly didn’t expect him to announce that he would have a song next, since word was that it would be Namjoon or Yoongi, but it was a very pleasant surprise that had us very excited.

Speaking of Namjoon, I’m not sure where to start. Be it his mature look or his incredible stage presence that’s truly unmatched. Namjoon, more and more with each concert, grows when it comes to his presence and the way he carries himself, so much so that it seem like he’s more confident about himself and his looks, his talents. His aura is very striking. Along with Yoongi he doesn’t need to do much on stage and yet he still commands your attention effortlessly. The whole package he presents is truly something else and in a way it only makes me so much more excited for whatever he has waiting for us when it comes to his solo work in the future. I’ll admit that after Tae, Namjoon is next in line visually for me. He’s gorgeous, but a tiny bit less than Tae since Tae is above everyone.

As for Yoongi and Hobi, when those two stand on stage alongside Namjoon, it’s an absolute feast, it’s like a heavy train that gets more and more momentum and takes you along for an unforgettable ride. I love those three together on stage. I don’t know how Yoongi manages to rap so fast without getting out of breath or looking like it takes any effort at all, and how someone as small as him can fit just that much energy and power into himself. And also how much someone so calm and kind and warm can still also have this force that’s very much to be reckoned with inside of him. Hobi, after releasing Jack in the Box and performing at Lolapalooza, has gained even more confidence and transformed his presence. The choices that were made when it came to his outfits and his hair, truly whoever decided that style for him deserves a raise because he was absolutely impeccable.

JK like JK was solid as he always is and didn’t disappoint in any kind of way. Unlike many, or most, I didn’t quite like what was done to his hair for the concert, but each their own. He, too, stood very maturely and confidently on stage and was eye-catching in his presence and vocals.

Jimin. You could still see that happiness from his birthday and from being in his hometown radiate off of him and carry him across the stage with so much energy and that signature dancer prowess. He was in his element beginning to end and didn’t falter even once, and he got so happy and surprised when ARMY started to sing Happy Birthday for him, albeit very out of sync but that just adds to the charm. And as much as I like black haired or blond Jimin, I don’t quite understand his current hair color choice and when I saw him with his hair hidden I quietly hoped he might’ve changed it, which he obviously didn’t. But the hairstyle itself suits him so well and I really like this longer hair on him a lot.

Vmin at the Busan concert. I don’t even know where to start but fkdmwexf While all the members were doing their proper ending pose for RUN BTS, it seemed like vmin were overcome with joy and the need to share that with each other since, instead of doing the pose as well, they decided to hug and then seemingly fall to the floor together once the lights were off. No idea what else they were doing, if anything, but the fact itself just left us speechless and gave us butterflies. But I’ll admit that as much as that made me, as well as Admin 1, scream and squeak in excitement, just like many other smaller interactions that vmin shared, my absolute favorite moment was during the dance break in Butter. When they danced with Hobi, Tae and Jimin shared these big, happy, radiant smiles with each other. And another one that also made my heart flutter was when Jimin smiled at Tae and Tae got so cutely flustered and shy. And vmin were just so vmin during this concert. They were just so happy to be on stage and to share this with the members and each other. You could just see that they were simply doing this for each other, and that’s just so cute and this wonderfully gentle thing between them, so wrapped in fondness and the uniqueness of their bond.

Let’s not even talk about their interaction during Zero O’Clock during rehearsals where they first held hands (where it also looked for a moment like Jimin wanted to kiss Tae’s hand), then Tae caressed Jimin’s cheek and then pat his head before walking away before turning back and smiling back at Jimin, because I have no words still. It was just something they did for each other and not for the audience since there was none, except for their staff, since it was a rehearsal after all. From what we could see of the rehearsals there were quite a few interactions between them, ranging from just shared glances to actual small touches and silliness. It just highlights once again how close they are.

And then once you use hindsight and look at those moments with the knowledge we have now, as in that this was their last concert as seven until 2025 because of enlistment, then that only makes them that much more special. Their emotions must’ve been crazy and to know that they felt the need to share those moments with each other and make them their own, especially in Jimin’s hometown just after Jimin’s birthday, it truly shows you that there is no other bond quite like theirs.

Perhaps we should also soon talk about Jimin’s photobook since I have a lot of thoughts and theories on it, but that’ll come next time.

Lastly shout out to Admin 1 for editing this post a little which didn’t have any influence on the actual content just the language. Since they have more of a way with words than I do.

I was just about to say that the 7th was my new favorite day of the month, but as my birthday is on the 20th, could it be more perfect? You're like an angel or something, I swear. A beautiful imersing writing, huge chapters and a consistent schedule. You are like the dream of every reader hahaha

Ps: I'm very intrigued with your portrail of Jungkook, he's always the cute shy bunny in most hybrid fics, loving to see this bad boy version of him. Also very curious about Namjoon, of course. And the familiarity she saw in Yoongi, I'm writing down the details for future theories.

As for elk hybridJungkook, I'm very excited to delve into his character. I've read many hybrid BTS fics with a bunny Jungkook, and I think they're very cute as well-- but I'm a sucker for bad boys and thought making his particular character one would be fun and refreshing to explore! For all of the members, I wanted them to be mostly predators and large, intimidating animals.

We'll meet Namjoon in Chapter 3, which I'm pretty pumped for. It was hard to keep him out for two whole chapters because he's my bias, but it was necessary for the story (mysterious!!)

My best friend who beta reads all of the chapters I write caught the familiarity she saw in Yoongi as well, and wrote down theories too! Another mysterious plot point to think about :)

Fandom: BTS Pairing: Idol!Namjoon x Female Reader Genre: Angst with a little fluff Warning: A bit angsty, toxic ARMYs, cyber bullying, swearing etc. Word Count: 1k Words Note: Please bear it in mind that it’s totally fictional. I tried my best to include some of the aspects of Namjoon in here. Personally I think, Namjoon is one of the best men to ever exist. Wish I could do him justice.

Summary: Once you find out that Namjoon is an Idol, you start to see him differently than you did before...

My mother kept denying it saying that Namjoon was trying to prank me until I showed her his profile in Google. It was hard for me to believe it myself at first.

Namjoon told me that he would like to introduce me to his band mates. What? I was going to meet with the biggest band of the world. And I didn’t even know them. I felt like an idiot for never trying out K-pop before.

I spent most of my time streaming their music and other videos which I found too hilarious. I kinda regretted it now for not knowing about these precious gems existing. Now, I could see why people loved BTS from the bottom of their hearts.

The leadership quality in Namjoon was something on another level. He was definitely one of the many reasons of BTS being BTS. I felt somewhat proud for knowing him in person.

One thing that shocked me every time was Namjoon’s ability to produce the most relatable lyrics. Those were the words I had always wanted to say, but better. I felt like, we were one person in mind.

“Does that make him my soul mate?” I thought. Soul mate or not, he was definitely my ideal type; which I had never imagined I would get to meet in real life let alone date him.

I started to see Namjoon in a new light. He was no more just a silly boy who talked about books and nature. He was a superstar, a role model for people to look up to. He was intelligent and artistic. But he was also someone who was out of reach; which I had realized the hard way.

"We were dying to meet you." The one called Hoseok said as soon as Namjoon had introduced me to them.

"Me too!" I said, "I was very excited." Which was partly true. Actually, I was more nervous than excited. I was worried they might find me boring.

Fortunately nothing of the sort happened. I met the Bangtan boys at a restaurant near their house. They had welcomed me and made me very comfortable around them. Soon, we were talking and eating like they had known me for years.

I had learnt that it was extremely rare for them to date anyone because of their busy schedule. They tended to avoid going into relationships to keep it easy.

"But do you know what hyung told me?" Jimin said with a smirk on his face, "He said, ‘Yah, Jimin, I don't think I can keep away from her.’"

"Jimin-ah!" Namjoon yelled at him while the others burst into laughter. I was blushing so hard that I had to cover my face pretending to cough.

At some point, Namjoon had a call and he asked me to excuse him for a moment. When he returned, his face was grave.

"Something came up." He said apologetically, "I’m sorry, darling. I really have to go now."

"It's Okay," I nodded, "Maybe one of the boys can drive me."

It was agreed on that Jin would take me back home. Then, Namjoon left. Even though, we still stayed there for half an hour more, I felt Namjoon's absence every moment. I wasn't enjoying the dinner anymore.

Finally, Jin was giving me a ride as promised. He probably noticed the change in my expression. "You know," he said, "when we said it's hard, we really meant it."

I nodded my head slowly. I understood. It would indeed be hard to date an idol.

“Happy Birthday, darling.” Someone softly placed a kiss on my forehead.

I woke up from the touch and slowly opened my eyes. At first a little blurry, then, I could make up the face in front of me. It was Namjoon. As soon as I recognized him, I pulled him into a tight hug.

“Woah!” He exclaimed, “Hey, calm down. I’m not going anywhere.”

I shook my head as I didn’t let go of him. Namjoon hugged me back and chuckled, “You’re acting like your little sister now.”

I didn’t care. I had met him in person after 2 whole months. We didn’t even get to talk online often. As always, Namjoon was way too busy to make time for our relationship. And I was worried it might fall apart at any time.

“Why didn’t you tell me that you’re coming, huh?” I asked pretending to be furious at him since we had an argument last night.

He put on his best dimple smile and said, “To surprise you, of course.”

“Yeah,” I rolled my eyes, “Showing off how romantic you can get?”

Namjoon spent the whole day with me and my family. Apparently, my mother already knew about his visit, which shocked me since she was incapable of keeping secrets. My little sister was super happy to meet her ‘oppa’ after a long time too. Overall, it was one of the best days I had in a long time.

Namjoon planned a dinner for my birthday at a fancy restaurant. I put on my best dress. I also put on a lot of makeup. When I was finally pleased with my outfit, we sat off for the little date I was longing to have.

The restaurant was beautiful. We got our table at the furthest corner to enjoy some privacy. The food was delicious as well.

“What?” I was completely shocked when Namjoon announced that he was going away tonight.

“I’m really sorry, darling.” He apologized once again, “It was already hard but I still managed to get a day off to celebrate your birthday.”

“I can’t believe it.” I said, “We are meeting after 62 days and you are already leaving in a day.”

“I know it sounds ridiculous.” He tried to laugh it off, “But I promise, next time, I’ll get more time and we’ll go on a long vacation. Does that sound good?”

“Next time!” I whispered.

Namjoon took my hands in his, “I’m really sorry.”

“Can you please stop apologizing already?”

The threats kept coming one after another and so was the mean comments.

“Why don’t you go die in a ditch, you freak!”

“You’re so fucking ugly that you make me puke.”

“How did you make our handsome Namjoon hyung to fall for you, witch?”

Some reporters had found out about us. Now, the news got leaked into the media. And some of his fans couldn’t accept it.

At first, I was crying at night silently. I was a sensitive person. So, every harsh comment felt like a knife through me. Eventually, I became numb towards the hatred. I stopped posting online. Ultimately, I deleted all my social media accounts.

“Don’t worry, darling.” Namjoon would call every day to console me over the situation, “Nothing’s made official. They’ll get tired of it. It will be over soon.”

“Does it even matter?” I asked once.

“Why are you saying that?” Namjoon’s voice sounded as if he was worried.

“If it takes not making our relationship public for the hatred to go away, that means, we will never be official.”

Namjoon was silent for a moment. Then, I added, “Perhaps someday, it will be over for us as well.”

“Don’t you worry about it, darling.” He said, “We will overcome the struggles.”

I wiped a tear from my cheek, “I wish I was as strong as you.”
