pluto retrograding back into capricorn: a prediction of what's to come

hahaha too funny!!! "i didn't have to answer this" but it was so well planned! i was in the middle of drafting this post when this ask notifications popped up!! so thank you so much for the compliments and i hope you enjoy this one equally!!

house matters:

THIS IS THE FIRST OF TWO PLUTO RETROGRADES THAT WILL OCCUR - this one will last from june 11th to jan 20th, 2024. we likely won't see too much wildness because we only recently started experiencing what pluto in aquarius is like. we know the vibe of pluto in capricorn already and likely still feel comfortable with its predictability. THE FINAL RETROGRADE BACK INTO CAPRICORN will be september 1st, 2024 to november 19th, 2024. then we are full steam ahead with pluto in aquarius until march 9th, 2043.

live in the USA so my post likely will be slightly more focused there examples wise so i apologize in advance! feel free to comment, dm, or reblog with other examples from your country based on my prediction key phrases.

i personally am NOT a witch or anything wild, everything i am saying is purely theoretical - it is not fated to happen just because i am saying it. i am simply socially aware. i know what's up generally in the world today and what was up in world when pluto was in capricorn.

like last time i am going to start light and get darker so mentally prepare yourself for that (tw: COVID-19, assassinations, and other abrasive topics that may make people uncomfortable) depending on where they are currently reading from - but we are talking about pluto so... expect the unexpected?!

let's get to it!

time and schedule changes

in the US people have been saying that daylight savings hour should be concluded indefinitely because it is unnecessary. we don't need "daylight" like we used to because we have advanced technologically. there are more risks with keeping time change then there is with getting rid of it. i could also see this being about the 4-day work week because it was trialed at the beginning of the aqua pluto transit and it was a success. capricorn is a worker and can be about workplace efficiency too, so we could see the work week become "refined" to be 4 days only.

the rise of new non-tech and/or tech-intensive careers

where there are AI doomers, there is a market. we will see old-school businesses and professionals trying to justify and reestablish their career without AI involvement - ground zero for this prediction is real-estate (people fighting virtual or 3D-tour technology) and politics (look at the tiktok ban nonsense - i can see them saying their jobs are necessary 100% of the time... or they don't need to evolve...). capricorn again represent efficiency when it comes to working, so we could see people commingling with tech to make the most out of AI in new ways to make their careers and the work they do more efficient (and less time consuming to piggyback off of the 4-day work week prediction).

the collapse of dead space

there is a chance we will see some sort of conversation about what to do with places we no longer use - strip malls, movie theaters, mineshafts, etc. pluto retrograde makes me think of fear mongering (yes, i see the irony between that statement and this post) - i can see where with climate issue and the haze that is falling over old-money US currently that people might start talking about building bunkers in preparation of a mass natural disaster or "apocalypse." my logic behind this is that capricorn represents reliability, money, and underground places while pluto is demolition and extremes.

technology failures and setbacks

enjoy your air conditioning when you have it and if you have it - i sense that we will likely face more blackouts and rolling blackouts this summer than ever before. i also think we could see AI doomers in full swing or we will see that AI is monitoring more than it should and people will distance themselves from it.

extreme weather and climate shifts

as we have seen in the past few days, wildfires are on the rise across canada. pluto can represent extremes and electrocution while capricorn can be ashes, dryness, and old trees - people are predicting "dry thunderstorms" and stating that wildfires can occur because of these storm systems/conditions. while it is not winter here in the US this retrograde, the second retrograde will be near enough to the season: expect an extreme and EARLY winter. capricorn symbolizes cold, ice, and snow. the extreme of that being a blizzard, of course. this past winter in buffalo, new york we saw how bad it can get. where i live (almost three hours from buffalo) we had no solid snowfall... i don't think i will say the same in 2024 - the movie the day after tomorrow comes to mind.

repression of freethinkers

pluto retrograde can make people less likely to "fight against the patriarchy". we might see those who were fighting back being prosecuted or jailed (incarceration is pluto ruled). while aquarius welcomed change, shifting backwards into traditionally-minded capricorn can cause this silencing.

real-estate crisis

real-estate is starting to straighten out but i want to point out that when pluto initially entered capricorn in 2008, there was a huge scandal surrounding the housing market. the subprime mortgage crisis caused a recession to occur because the market crash and lenders couldn't return on their loans. we might see similar problems again. right now lots of homes are overpriced and if certain lenders are using the money on loan and we crash again we can see another market crash.

recession or depression

speaking of market crash... it's the roaring 20s. i don't think it is a coincidence that the Great Depression was in the 1920s, while the Great Recession was when pluto initially entered capricorn in 2008. could there be a Great Depression part two? MAYBE. considering pluto in retrograde typically indicates trouble with power dynamics and capricorn can represent business and the economy.

the death of politics and/or the church

2024 the year of the election - it's early to be talking about it for some of us, i know, BUT the campaigns are beginning. i want us to be aware that going between tradition capricorn and utopian aquarius during this time may cause some chaos... we have biden and trump again on the trial... two recent POTUSs... there are a lot of extreme people who are not happy with either of their times in office. i want to just put out there that JFK was just passing through texas on a friendly visit when his assassination occurred. pluto represents assassinations, so it might be in the stars during the retrograde seasons (hopefully not though). i feel like it will be someone close to the presidents if so because capricorn can be a "watchman" while pluto can be betrayal. since capricorn is the church, we could see the death of a pope or higher church official that causes havoc as well. alternatively, we could see people saying (towards the end of the second retrograde) / questioning why we even need a president.

capricorn terms i can't think of change in but seem important to note / keep in mind: colds (COVID being labelled the common cold while it is mutating?), hair, hysteria (another outbreak? panic early in a presidency?), limitations (lockdowns? maybe for COVID or the air conditions because of wildfires?), minerals (running out of them), mining industry (the end of this industry all together and switching to renewable resources by the end of this cap pluto era), old age (the boomers are dying off? or are we going to make a discovery of some sort about aging or age related diseases), orderliness, responsibility, tile, afghanistan, greece, lithuania, mexico, and tombs (are we going to say goodbye to cemeteries?).

plutonian terms i can't think of change in but seem important to note / keep in mind: aliases, alibis (governmental riffing similar to how no plan was in place when for COVID-19), cemeteries (removal of that method if too many are dying at any giving time - mass graves?), convicts (prison release due to overcrowding? the mega-prison of el salvador?), corruption (governmental likely?), earthquakes (more environmental issues on top of the wildfires?), liars, massacres (the rise of crime?), murder, nihilism (the rise of philosophy at the time of war?), ransom (war?), satire (rise of political satire?), stolen goods, and taxes (trump-esque no? likely to be brought up during the presidential campaign).

girllllll!!!! i saw the hunger games yesterday too and let me tell you, seeing tom with a blonde buzzcut did things to me I didn’t know I could feel. Usually I’m not one for the buzzcuts in general but HIM? lord have mercy. He should stay with that haircut for the rest of his life, seriously.

I actually loved the movie, it narrated like a novel and I’m a book nerd so even better, though the first part, for me personally, felt like a 2013 wattpad fic with the dialogue and acting but part two and three? it was seriously amazing, especially part three. Seeing the tyrant Snow being born was chilling with tom’s acting. What about you toots? I need your insights right now, in this instant! have a beautiful day/night (^з^)-☆

literally like the whole eminem getup was so hot for reallll hahah and then i remembered he’s coriolanus snow and was like ummm awkward…anyway-!

right! part three was really amazing and its such an important part? for me that was THE climax! like so many people said they didn’t like part three but they just don’t understand the importance and value of it! this is a prequel after all and it’s so crucial to the character development of snow.

and i read so many critique reviews and they did not give this movie justice. 65% on rotten tomatoes?? NAHHHH WHAT. they were leaving comments like “part three was boring, too much singing for a hunger games movie, didn’t understand who the main character was.” HUHHH THIS IS A PREQUEL! 😐 GUYS

i feel like most people expected that it was more of a romance film but it actually isn’t! the story utilises a romance subplot to point out how snow doesn’t actually love lucy and how he wants power of her to control her. especially in the book i think it www more detailed in how bad snow really is lmao.

i loved how different this movie was from the rest of the hunger games films. there was singing, it was more colourful and more bright? i was really expecting lots of action before i saw it ngl but i am not disappointed in this approach i think it really hit the depth of the concept of the story.

i think they did so well in both the book and film by not victimising snow, i really thought they were gonna try to humanise him and justify his actions but naww! anyway this is definitely my favourite hunger games movie and i will watch it again in the cinema to get every detail!! i really hope this revives the dystopian genre again i’m gonna get back into so many dystopian movies! 💆‍♀️

Day 26: Chat Blanc

Welcome!  Enjoy the nighttime photograph and auto-generated collages ;) Because I am a perfectionist and also sometimes insane, I drew like 12 different thumbnails of this piece before I had one I liked. I really reallyyy wanted a horror movie-esque vibe to this, where Marinette knows she’s being stalked, but isn’t looking in the right place yet, but WE can see Chat Blanc. (I’ve been irrevocably affected by @shameboree​‘s bad vibes AU, if it didn’t show.) It was hard to succinctly invoke that though, with such limited space and detail.

I was talking to my sister about it, and she suggested the use of a compact mirror or something to reveal Blanc to Mari, which wasn’t quite what I went with, but once the idea of a mirror as a reveal device was in my head I could NOT let it go. Unfortunately mirrors make things everything 10x more complicated, and I couldn’t figure out a good setup. I finally brute-forced my way through the problem of composition by setting up my phone in the shower caddy and taking some reference pictures. This was also the stage where the idea of smearing the lipstick came in; since there needed to be a reason behind her using the mirror, I decided she was applying makeup, and I thought lipstick would be a striking and symbolic option. It would also show how quickly she had startled and turned!

And then sketching! I used a light blue for the sketch because I wanted the whole image to be very chilling and unfriendly from the outset. I was having a really tricky time nailing down marinette’s expression in the sketch, so I drew a couple references on the facing page to refer to as I was inking it.

Next was inking. I started with the main figures, added the surroundings outside the mirror, filled in the second figure, and finished with other background details. Once again, I left the mouth and eyes for later, in case I needed to adjust the expressions to a changed mood in the piece.

I colored Marinette first, because she’s the key figure. I chose red for her shirt because in the show, red seems to be symbolic of Marinette’s deeper self, past the secrets and lies she tells. I also wanted her to be vivid and colorful, the only living thing in the room. Everything else needed to be cool, threatening, and unfriendly; any warmer colors, or colors that weren’t blue-based, I chose to be organic - ie, a color that could come from a human body. (Because it’s just a little gross and creepy that way imo!) Almost immediately, I decided it was TOO Ladybug-red, so I dimmed it a little with some blue and brown. I wanted the truest reds to be her mouth and the rose. The window curtain was white as a decoy Chat Blanc to catch her attention, and also because my bedroom curtain is sheer and white, so I had an easy reference on hand haha. I made the shower curtain blue to keep the overall color scheme cold.

Then, I just kept adding layers of shadows and color until I liked it! I don’t usually use such blue shadows, because it tends to layer with warm skin tones in a green way, which I don’t love, but I combined it with a dark violet for Marinette’s skin, and blue everywhere else. I kept adding more and more ink shadows, because I wanted them to be kinda dense and threatening.

Cause she's out here stabbing THE fuck out of people & they're all in the ~try hard to be Billy & Stu Olympics~ djdsk. 🔪 🔪 🔪 (yeah, I know, it wouldn't fix everything, it would just be a start lolll) I feel like that describes a lot of your affinity for slashers (railing you), the danger 🫣 That's the thing, the Halloweens were all indie until 6 with Dimension so they had not excuse in 4/5 to not just do what 1/2's mask did dhdjdla. Yupppp. Literally Sam Mindy Anika Tara AND Chad's big tall ass. Had two. killers attacked in that second, okay, yes, I'd understand hustling outta there. But we know for a fact it was Ethan in that scene & we knowww they could've overpowered that twink, like come on now. 💀 (oop, yup, we fully twinned with our thought process there lollllll)

Hope you enjoy 🤭 Up against a wall fucking is veryyy underappreciated. I know it's impractical unless you have the strength to pull it off, but it just has that something to it 🫠

Oh do not get me s t a r t e d on Wanda. She was another one of my favs & even if I liked seeing her go wild in MOM, that movie did e v e r y body involved dirty, especially coming on the heels of Wandavision. It's soooo wild to me how nothing Bruce + Clint are now when (issues with Whedon notwithstanding), the very 1st Avengers movie ate sooo much at nailing. each & every character. And we'll have to keep holding out hope that will persist for Bucky cause whewww at some of the shit the MCU has been getting up to lately...😬 Oh you are speaking my language cause I fr can not s t a n d Tony + the bias the movies had in favor of him akdhdhd. Nothing against RDJ cause literal perfect casting, but Steve was quite literally always. the one speaking facts & had to deal with Tony constantly going on his little passive aggressive billionaire power trips thinking he knew better. Oh, I'll bet. 👅 Maybe I will @ look it up 👀, but yeah, that doesn't surprise me cause I've seen a lot of favorable responses to him. I just never got around to watching the series. 🙈 I feel that's a pretty apt description of her. 👍

It's crazy and I'm so happy they didn't entertain Stu returning. Oh I feel you... I love when they get forceful and controlling>> Dom!Roman is happily making me see the vision clearly (and not walk straight.) I feel like each killer has contributed to her growth, but its a shame we won't see the killer for her to face in 7... They should have been able to capture the magic (and hot take, the 4 mask is so bad I almost love it. something weirdly nice about it. h20 was the worst for me, I think being able to see the eyes was the worst part of an otherwise decent mask tbh. Literally! I don't care that her kills in it are weightless and cameo bait. IT WAS COOL!! I must be a sheep because I thought it was the best part of the movie. I don't really care that she's being driven by the dark hold either, I just wish we got some additional Wandavision/MOM scenes that showed her reasoning for wanting to wield the dark hold. Im praying the thunderbolts movie will be good, but with the reshoots and rewrites and delays... it had me worried. I know they're doing it to "better" the movie but that has yet to be seen. RDJ made Tony kinda fine but I could not stand his character. I hate how Whedon painted him as "in the right" in the first Avengers. Honestly, my issues started with Iron Man 2 and every movie he was in until he died. Iron Man 1 is literally perfect, but it wasn't made with a sequel in mind, so they back tracked on his character in 2 and 3, then just lost focus entirely by the end. What happened to the guy learning how to use his resources for good? It's the worst in Civil War, when Tony openly disrespects Cap and Buck because he was too emotional (that movie also set up Mysterio for later and... yikes). I get that his parents died but it was years ago, and he knew that Bucky was being mind controlled during those events. He had zero free will and Tony knew that, and this movie also spawns the Sokovia Accords, which he doesn't make an effort to understand. He constantly flip flops about being more than who people think he is, but then uses the fact that "he's just a guy" to skate by unphased from the Accords. The Accords would have affected people with superpowers imbued into them, where their body and powers are one. Tony doesn't have to worry about that because his suits aren't him, no matter how much Infinity War tries to change that because of his "paranoia". And then there's his impact on Peter. Not only did he recruit a 14 year old to fight for government restrictions that would affect Peter, he also had him fighting in situations against people much more powerful than him. Then, when Peter was part of the blip, he replaced him with his daughter?? Like huh?? Im gonna cut it short there because I could go on forever about it. (If you can't tell, I'm veryyy passionate about Peter and his movies almost as much as Cap and Bucky. Plus, it's more reasons to hate Tony sjskdksj)

Totally, omg that reminds me of when I read a fic with a barista!Sam Winchester and he just... jacked off in the reader's coffee without even knowing them skdjdsj ... I should go reread that. Exactly! She outsmarted them all because she's that girl. it's as sweet as him!

Minnie's POV

I was packing for the road trip I would be having with my boyfriend, Eric, my sisters Madelaine, who's the youngest and Maelyn, who's the oldest, and my friends Josephine, Blake, HueningKai, Jeno, Dorothy, Jaeden, Evangeline, and Louis. Oh, and Jaeden's annoying best friend, Summer.

And it's not that I didn't like her, she was just... very hyper and VERY talkative. She also wasn't a fan of me, I never knew why. Maybe it was just because I was very close with Jaeden and she was jealous? I would discover that later.

Anyway, after an hour I finally finished and decided to lay in my bed and watch Netflix.

I was halfway through True Beauty's last episode when I heard my ringtone, Movie Star by CIX. I picked my phone with a smile knowing who was calling.

“Hi!”

“Hello, beautiful.” Eric spoke, I knew he was smiling too. “How are you? Ready for the trip?”

“I'm kinda tired but yeah! Super excited.” I spoke happily. “You?”

“Same, can't believe it's gonna be our last trip with everyone. But, it's gonna be fun and we're going to remember it for the rest of our lives.”

“Yeah, that's true.”

“Anyway, I'm very bored right now and I reallyyy miss you, can I go see you?” I knew him so well that I could see his cute pouting and irresistible puppy eyes, which made it hard to resist.

“Sure, honey!” I giggled.

“Great! See you in a bit!”

“Okay, love you!”

“Love you too, Min!”

I ended the call smiling. He was so adorable, and always made my heart melt.

I resumed the show and minutes after I finished it my door opened, thinking it was Eric I almost jumped out of my bed but stopped when I saw it was my older sister, Maelyn.

“Hey, Tina!”

“Hey, Big Sis.” I greeted her. “What's up?”

“Sooo...” I could tell she was a little nervous. “You remember the blind date that Marisa set me up?”

“Yeah! You told me a few days ago that you would tell me the deets later!” I said remembering her words. “Is this my lucky day?”

“It is!” She laughed. “Are you free right now?”

“Yep, Eric's coming but he won't be here in like an hour or two, you know his house is kinda far away and he isn't the fastest.”

“True.” She smiled and sighed, while walking to my bed and sitting by me. “You won't believe who was the boy I went out with.”

I thought for a second, the only crush I knew my sister had was Braeden and I doubted it was him, since he moved to LA when the two of them were in their Junior Year.

I shook my head, as I didn’t know. “Who?”

“Braeden.” I guess I was wrong.

“Whaat? Really?” She nodded. “This can't be a coincidence, I know it's fate!”

“You and your fate. It's obviously not, it was just luck, I guess.”

“Yeah, yeah. Keep telling yourself that.” I rolled my eyes. It was quiet for a minute until I had an extraordinary thought. “What if he comes with us to Springfield?”

“What? Why?” She started becoming stressed. “I don't think that's a very good idea, Tina.”

“Why not, Mae-Mae? You'll get to spend time with your crush and I get to make fun of you when you do something embarrassing. It's a win-win.” I said jokingly, well half jokingly. She gave me a bad look. “I'm kiddinggg. It'll be fun!”

“I don't know, Little Sis.”

“Just think about it, okay? But do it fast because the trip's only two days away.” We laughed a little and she just nodded.

“Okay, I will go now. I want to watch Supernatural before dinner. See you later, Tina!” She spoke while getting up from my bed and walking out the door.

“Bye, Mae-Mae!”

I really hoped my sister said yes. Braeden was pretty cool and I always thought they would look cute together.

After that encounter, I decided to rewatch Cobra Kai while I waited for my boyfriend. And yes, I had watched it before but it had become one of my favorite shows. I had binge watched it so many times I lost count.

I was on the second episode when my door opened, again. I was under my covers so I lazily stretched my neck to see who it was. It was my slow but cute boyfriend, smiling at me.

“Hi, cutie.”

“Hi, sweetheart. Missed me?” He asked, as he walked towards my bed and layed next to me.

“Me? Apparently you're the one that can't live without me.” I teased him.

“Can't argue with that.” He gave me a quick kiss and hugged me tightly. I loved his embrace, he was so cuddly. “Are you seriously watching CK, again?”

“Duh, obviously. There's no such thing as too much Robbie Keene.” I smiled at him, teasingly. “Look at him! He's so cute!”

I could see him roll his eyes playfully. “Cuter than me?”

“No one's cuter than you, honey.” I winked at him, which made him blush.

“You guys disgust me.” We heard an annoying voice in the corridor, which made us look at it.

“It's not my fault that you're single and that Kai doesn't look at you that way.” Madelaine rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue at me.

“I hate you, Mins.”

She slammed my door, so I yelled at her. “Love you too, Mads!”

After that I turned to my boyfriend with a smile. “Please tell me we're not turning into one of those cheesy couples.”

“Would that be so bad?”

“Hmm, I don't know.” We laughed and he hugged me tighter.

We spent the rest of the night cuddling and watching Netflix.

Who knew that that would be the last time in a while that we would be happy and in peace.

Picking up the third bag of gummy worms you had found on the floor, you sighed as you threw it into the big garbage bag that already almost filled to the brim with junk wrappers and pizza boxes that had been tossed around the room.

How much food could we had possibly gone through last night?

You had currently been cleaning up Peter’s room for him, as the night before he had invited you over to binge watch some movies together and the both of you created quite a mess.

The stomping from upstairs that shook the ceiling made you chuckled, knowing Peter upstairs with the twins, probably planning some sort of scheme with them.

Closing up the garbage bag and putting it to the side, you picked up the last blanket from the floor, surprised to find what was underneath it.

Peter’s leather jacket.

A light blush spread across your face as you pictured him in it, looking handsome as always, with his hair just the right amount of messy. God, you were so in love with that man.

You bent down and picked up the jacket, pulling it toward your face, taking in his scent. Just the smell of him made you feel safe and calm, like everything was going to be okay.

I’m sure he wouldn’t notice if I borrowed it for a day or two...

Quickly, you took the jacket and placed it into your bag and zipped it up. Then, folded the last blanket and placed it on his bed, then proceeded to take your bag and head upstairs to see what the three boys had been up to all this time.

When you reached the top of the stairs, you saw Peter zipping around chasing the twins as they laughed, running away from him. The scene brought a smile to your face, making your heart flutter seeing how good he was with the twins. Maybe one day in the future he would be doing the same but it would be your kids...

Shaking the thought out of your head, you yelled out to him, “Pete! I’m heading back to my house now!” Hoping to gain his attention.

In a flash he was standing directly in front of you, a small pout on his face.

“Awww but babe, can’t you stay just a while longeeer”

You shook your head, softly giggling at how cute he looked.

“Noooooo because I have work to get doneeee” You said mocking his whiny tone and placed a quick kiss on his nose.

Peter sighed and wrapped his arms around your waist.

“Can I atleast come over to see you tonight?” He asked as he placed a few soft kisses along your neck.

“Well I would never deny having your lovely presence in my home.” You said teasingly and he chuckled.

Once you made it back to your house, you went straight into your living room and unzipped the bag that contained Peter’s jacket. You put the jacket on, it having the most perfect oversized fit, with the smell of him filling the air around you.

Walking over towards the couch, you grabbed your laptop and sat down comfortably. You opened up the laptop, and started working on the paper that your job needed you to finish. You were halfway through getting the paper done, when your eyelids started to become heavy, and you subconsciously snuggled yourself closer into Peter’s jacket. Eventually sleep overcame you, the warmth of the jacket keeping you nice and toasty.

Peter arrived on your doorstep at about 7 pm, filled with excitement to see you again. Even though he had only seen you just hours earlier, he could never get enough of you, wanting to be by your side every minute he got the chance to. He rang the door bell, waiting for you to swing the door open and greet him like you always would, but after a minute of waiting, he was still facing a closed door.

He rang the doorbell for a second time, becoming more impatient as the seconds ticked by. Had you forgotten about him? No, that didn’t seem like something you would do. Maybe the doorbell was broken? How do doorbells even brake? He shook his head and sighed, thinking of what to do next.

In seconds, he ran back to Wanda’s house and into his room, grabbing a spare key to your house that he had snatched from you when you hadn’t been looking a while back. He ran back to your doorstep, and opened the door with the stolen key, and let himself inside.

“Ahem Miss L/N~” He called out in a sing-songy voice. “Have you gone deaf or do you need-“ He stopped his sentence when he reached the living room where he found you curled up in his leather jacket, sleeping peacefully.

His heart fluttered, his face warming at the sight before him. It was a wonderful feeling, seeing that you needed him just as much as he needed you. He couldn’t take his eyes off of you, wondering how he had become so lucky to have you in his life. He started to doubt that he would ever be good enough for you...you were smart, beautiful, caring-

His thoughts came to a hault when you slowly had started to stirred awake, letting out a small yawn, before glancing across the room to see Peter standing there. You let out a yelp, as he scared the shit out of you.

“Wha- When did you get here? How did you even get in?” Your groaned out tiredly. You were so caught up in trying to figure out what was going on that you had completely forgotten that you were currently wearing his jacket you taken from him.

“I took a spare key I found lying around your house. You know, you should really keep better track of your stuff.” Peter said raising his pointer finger, the spare key dangling around it.

“Mph, Peter you can’t just take peoples things without asking.” You said getting up as you rubbed the sleep out of your eyes, your brain slowly starting to register what was going on.

“Uh, I don’t think you should be the one talking” Peter snickered, and you furrowed your brow, confused by what he meant. Finally, you came to the realization that you had been wearing his jacket. Your eyes widened as you looked up at him, already knowing that he would never let you live this down.

“Peter I can explain-“

“So you just can’t get enough of me huh?”

“Well I was gonna bring it back eventually-“

“Tsk tsk, Y/N you shouldn’t take things without asking, I’m so disappointed in you” He said teasingly, waving his finger in a disapproving manner. You rolled your eyes and huffed, your face reddening from all the teasing.

He smiled, thinking you looked adorable in such a flustered state. He moved towards you and wrapped his arms around your waist.

“I will admit if I knew you would look so exquisite in my jacket I would have let you steal it a looooong time ago.” Peter muttered to you, looking into your eyes lovingly. He pressed a sweet kiss to your lips, and you smiled.

“I love you Peter.”

Peter’s eyes lit up with delight at the sentence, his grin widening. All his worries and doubts disappeared, and his heart filled with joy.

“I love you too sweetheart.”

Summer 2021 Opinions

Its that time I come here and pretend I am an anime connoisseur so alas, here are my thots on summer 2021 anime from worst to best

Sonny Boy

I want to like Sonny Boy, I really really do. And I am trying, I really am. I just,,,,, dont get it ASDFGHJ Maybe I am dumb, I am sure its that but like, I cant really enjoy something I dont understand. the music slaps and I think the metaphors and concepts overall are alright but just,,,, I wish I knew what was happening to have an opinion sksks

Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru.

This is... Very generic. Like its all the same tropes all over and over again and like,,,, snooze tbh. I am a bit behind but the best part of this was the detective on the first ep and like //// bruh ASDFGHJK I mean I honestly wouldnt recommend this but if you're into the waifu kind of generic and sort of maybe kind of mysterious aspect go for it.

Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru

I am including the movie because I got to watch it and this was cute. It was nothing over the top that I would die for and stuff but it was okay. I think the animation and colors were super vibrant and unique and the boy is the best part of the movie. Its a sort of movie that you put in the background and enjoy while doing other shenanigans.

Uramichi Oniisan

It feels so wrong putting this so low because everyone is enjoying this and this is the sort of anime I would absolutely love because its dumb and comedic and dumb and shit but like it didn't really hook me? I mean I am super behind so maybe this will change but idk, its kind of boring at times and the jokes fly a bit over my head and I find it a bit too dramatic at moments but thats just me so dont even listen to what I say xddd

Re-Main

Another anime I reallyyy wanna like xddd,,,, And I do! Kind of.... I am a big fan of sports anime so this was on my radar for a while and the animation is great, the characters are alright and its all a bit formulaic but theres just something in the back of it that makes me not wanna put it higher.... I think it relates to the whole incident thing which, I get its a plot point but at the same time its kind of rushed and brushed over? Like if you take Number 24, which isnt perfect but alas I have a soft spot for, it uses a similar concept but its not overlooked while in here its just.... like no one cares lol?? idk I enjoy it but its not the best out there personally.

Shiroi Suna no Aquatope

Now we start getting onto the ones I enjoyed the most ayeE! Aquatope is an anime I was sure I was going to rate averagely, just because it looked a bit like Barakamon and I am not a huge fan of it but I was pleasantly surprised!! This is such a relaxing anime I put and my worries just wash away. It doesnt have an overly intricate plot or anything but its just soft and they are girlfriends and we get to see cute sea animals and its very cute with the animation, defo recommend it for something light to watch!

Deatte 5-byou de Battle

I didnt put this show in my original watch list but I started it just out of curiosity and surprisingly it really hooked me! Its sort of got that danganronpa-ish vibes to it and its a very interesting plot which I know at first looks generic but the main character carries it very well, every week I am lowkey interested to what is happening and understanding what is going on. I really enjoy the characters specially, their relationships are interesting and it’s overall good

Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid

This is another I wasnt expecting to rank this high but I was pleasantly surprised! I absolutely adoooore Bochan and he is absolutely best boi. His relationship with Alice is super cute and it gets you rooting for them and I just need him to be okay and asdfghjkl ngl the last few episodes took a bit of a weird turn but I still love them lmaoo (I am looking at you bird guy)

Vanitas no Carte

VnC is fantastic. I dont have much to say because I’ve always loved the manga and the story is very heart wrenching and asdfghj WATCH IT FOR NOE OKEI? they are precious and its very heavy, the animation is super well done and the adaptation has been done very well! Its from the same author of Pandora Hearts in case you enjoyed it <3

Hamefura Season 2

OKAY YES MAYBE HAMEFURA IS NOT THE BEST ANIME OUT THERE BUT I ENJOY IT SO I GET TO PLACE IT FIRST ASDFGHJK Its cute, they are all great, the characters, the dynamics are hilarious the humor is great. I still think Season 1 was a bit better because of the pacing but overall its a very very good season 2 nglll

You roll over in bed to glance at your phone to see it's 11 AM. It feels nice to sleep in with no alarm. After putting on your glasses and slippers and finally dragging yourself out of bed, you stroll into the kitchen and pour a bowl of fruity pebbles. You put a music playlist on the TV to play in the background.

It has been almost a week since your talk with Spencer. As much as it hurt you to see him broken in that way, you felt honored that he trusts you enough to share that part of his life with you. Talking about trauma is never easy. You should know.

You think over some of the things you said to him. Spencer's entire job involves profiling people and reading every tone, every bit of body language. You are sure that he most likely noticed changes in you as you spoke about coping with trauma, but you're grateful he hadn't felt the need to prod you with questions. He had become your best friend here, but you aren't sure you're quite ready to bare the darkest parts of your soul to him.

Suddenly you hear a knock at your door, not caring if a neighbor or maintenance worker sees you in your pajamas, you stroll towards the door and swing it open. You rub your eyes under your glasses to make sure you're seeing correctly. Spencer is standing in your doorway, a sheepish smile on his face.

"Y/N I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to wake you up! I just assumed since it was 11..."

You wave, brushing off his comments. "Its fine, really. I actually wasn't asleep. I was eating a late breakfast though." You suddenly become very self-conscious, and its not just because you're in your pajamas. Spencer had seen you that way on the trip. You realize as you stand in your doorway that you're wearing a tank and tight fitting PJ shorts and your bear paw slippers. Your hair is a giant mess. You have no makeup on, which you usually relied on to conceal your less than perfect skin. You never really outgrew acne, even in your twenties. You were also in your glasses. Basically, you felt like a hot mess, somewhat like Princess Anna waking up on coronation day. Even though your movie nights had been casual, you always tried to be at least somewhat put together without looking like you tried too hard.

"Umm come in" You step aside as you cross your arms over your chest, your gaze staying on your feet.

"Sorry you had to see me like this. I thought maybe it was just apartment maintenance. I can go change real quick..."

A look of genuine confusion spreads across his features. "I don't understand.  See you like what?"

You gesture to your entire body. "Like...this! I'm a complete mess, Spence." You try to keep your face down to conceal the redness growing on your cheeks.

Spencer shakes his head before letting out a small chuckle. You glance up, confused as to what about this he could possibly find funny. He better not be laughing at you, seeing as you are embarrassed enough as it is.

He shakes his head, smiling. "Silly girl."

Spencer reaches down and brushes a piece of hair behind your ear. "You always look pretty."

The voice of Mama Cass singing Dream a Little Dream of Me fills the air between the two of you. There's so much tension and you don't know where it came from. Usually you're really comfortable with Spencer. But you definitely feel butterflies in your stomach as the two of you lock eyes.

You definitely can't hide the blush heating up your face now. It seems like he is just now processing what he's said and done because his eyes widen as you see his face turn red as well. He lets out a cough, breaking eye contact and staring down at his shoes as he begins to fiddle with his hands. Your gaze lingers on his hands for just a moment before you turn on your heel and head back towards the kitchen table to finish your cereal.

Spencer follows you, hesitantly, leaning against the kitchen counter. There are a few moments of silence before he finally says "I was at a coffee shop just one block over. I had something to ask you so I thought I'd just stop by."

"Like I said before, you are always welcome Spencer. So what is your question?"

"It's probably stupid. You are more than welcome to say no. I probably would if I were you."

You laugh and roll your eyes. "Wow you're really selling me on this, keep going."

"Well... the team they uh, well sometimes they go out for drinks. If I don't go along they never let me hear the end of it. I usually end up sitting b-by myself while they all head to the dance floor. I j-just thought...I thought maybe you might..."

Spencer looks up, surprised to see you smiling and nodding enthusiastically.

"I'd love to. It's been a couple weeks since I've seen everyone. And honestly I could use a few drinks myself."

A toothy grin slowly grows on his face as he bites down on his bottom lip. He does this all the time but for some reason, today, you find your eyes staring at his lips a little too long after he's done this. Wow, he has really nice lips. Like reallyyy nice lips. How had you never noticed? I wonder if he's ever kissed anyone. He's in his thirties, surely he has. But he hasn't really spoken about past relationships. Then again neither had you.

You accidentally held your gaze on him while completely losing yourself in this train of thought. You are brought back to the present by Spencer calling your name. Your eyes quickly dart up to meet his as you realize just how far down the rabbit hole you had allowed your mind to go. You shake your head quickly, pushing these thoughts far away. It's hard enough to find a really great friend who will stick around that you can trust. You had no intention of screwing that up any time soon.

"Sorry! I'm really tired. I guess I just kind of zoned out there for a second." You quickly explain before returning to eating your bowl of cereal.

"Well I guess I should get going...I'll see you tonight?" Spencer starts to head toward the door.

"Wait! Why are you leaving?"

"Oh well I just though, well...I don't know. Are you saying you want to hang out?"

"You're my best friend here Spencer, of course I want to hang out!"

Before long the two of you had the Goblet of Fire ready to go on the TV with an array of snacks strewn across the coffee table. You noticed Spencer didn't sit on the far end of the couch this time. Instead, he sat almost on the middle. You decide to sit next to him, looking at him to make sure he's okay with it. He only gives you a smile, seemingly okay with this new arrangement.

By halfway through the movie, you had somehow ended up sharing one of your large fuzzy blankets and you had scooted close enough together that your head was on his shoulder. He hadn't said anything but you were fairly certain his breathing had changed as you'd done it.

The two of you had never been very touchy so you're not sure what had brought out this side of you today. Your thoughts start to wander again. Maybe it was the compliment he'd given you earlier. Spencer had never called you pretty, but hearing him say it gave you all kinds of nerves. You hadn't really thought about Spencer in that way. It's been years since you'd had a crush on anyone. You've forgotten what that even feels like. Surely that's not what this was. The two of you were just close. It's not like he'd ever be interested. He was a literal genius, an FBI agent, not to mention he was gorgeous. He could have any woman he wanted. Why are you even thinking about this! You don't like Spencer. Geez Y/N, get it together.

After the movie ends, you sit up and look at Spencer. "Do you need time to go home and get ready or will you be ready to leave from here?"

"Oh, I think I'm ready. I can leave and come back if you like?"

"That's silly. You can just wait here while I get ready, unless you have somewhere better to be" you jokingly raise your eyebrows and shove his shoulder. He fakes like he's been hurt, causing you to giggle. Ugh, why are you giggling? You sound like a lovesick schoolgirl.

You quickly stand up and head towards your bedroom before turning around to Spencer. "You are more than welcome to and food and drinks you find, and you can look through and find something on the TV if you'd like."

You take a quick shower and throw on a robe while you fix your hair and make up. You pull out a curling rod. You had a balayage done to your hair earlier that year, so curls really did look best, making the dark to blonde even more blended. As you look through your closet, you decide to pick an outfit that will give you a bit of a confidence boost. You pull on a spaghetti strap snug fitting maroon, velvet dress. It's a little lower cut than you usually wear, but it comes almost to your knees, keeping you from feeling like you've exposed too much skin. The back dipped fairly low, with the top half of your back covered in a piece of lace. After slipping into some strappy black sandals, you look in the mirror and admire the way it accentuates your curves. You'd been blessed with more booty than chest, so luckily you don't have to worry about showing an inappropriate amount of cleavage around Spencer's coworkers. Your legs also looked even more long and slender than usual. Yep, this was the perfect outfit.

You check your makeup in the mirror once more. Dark lipstick with smoky eye shadow and long lashes. You did this for yourself. You liked being able to feel a little bit sexy every once in awhile. You weren't dressing for anyone else. That is what you keep repeating in your head, and you will keep doing that until you believe it.

You take a deep breath to calm your nerves before stepping into the living room. Spencer is lying on the couch, reading through the book from your coffee table: Edgar Allen Poe's Complete Works. He's so entranced in the book, he doesn't notice you enter the room. Once he hears the clack of your heels across the floor he finally glances up and does a double take. Eyes wide, he opens his mouth to speak but just shuts it again. You can't help but think this was the reaction you had hoped for. Why were you dressing to impress Spencer? Maybe it's because he thought you were pretty when you were at your worst. You wondered what he would think when you put on your best. Based on the growing redness spreading from his face and down his neck, it's fair to say he liked what he saw. You could have sworn you hear him whisper a "wow" under his breath.

"I feel like I'm underdressed now." He finally speaks up.

"You look fine Spencer!"

"Fine? Fine can't compare with...with this!" He gestures to all of you.

You decide to play dumb. "I don't know what you're talking about. I just threw on a dress I thought would fit in with the atmosphere" You shrug. You want to tell him he looks more than fine. That he always looks fantastic, but you decide to keep this to yourself.

"There's nothing wrong with the way you're dressed, but if it bothers you that much I can help." You step forward and look him up and down, trying to figure out the best way to do this.

"You clearly know what you're doing," he laughs. "Go ahead."

"Ok first take off the sweater vest."

Spencer removes his black velvet-like blazer in order to remove a grey, patterned sweater vest. He's left in a dark purple button down with a matching tie, black slacks, and dress shoes.

You step closer and reach out to touch his tie, hesitating for a moment.

"May I?"

He nods for you to go ahead. You remove the tie and undo the top two buttons on his shirt. You then grab his blazer and help him to slip back into it. Lastly, you move your hand up to ruffle his hair a bit. You step back to take in the whole look.

"Well?" he asks.

You roll your tongue to the side of your mouth, biting on it as you try, very poorly, to hold back a smirk. You're impressed with your finished result.

He looks...hot. NO! Stop...nope. We're not going there. He's your best friend. That's all.

He must have noticed the way you've been eyeing him and the look on your face, because he is slowly turning a deep shade of red.

"See for yourself" you say as you lead him over toward a mirror.

After looking over his new appearance, he smiles. You can tell he feels confident like this. Confident Spencer is something you wish you saw more of. You're glad you could help him to see that he can be attractive. You wish he knew that he always has been.

"Come on pretty boy" you say, imitating Derek as you lead the two of you downstairs.

Luckily the bar is well within walking distance from your apartment. When you open the door to step outside the cool night air hits your skin, causing you to shiver a bit. You immediately feel a soft warmth enveloping your arms and shoulders. You look up to see Spencer wrapping his blazer around you. If any other guy had done this, you would certainly make assumptions, but Spencer was such a kind-hearted guy, you know he's only trying to be a gentleman. You give him a quick smile of appreciation as the two of you start to make your way to the bar.

When you finally walk through the doors, you make your way to a corner booth where you see some of Spencer's team...or your friends? You suppose they've really become your friends here. After greeting Penelope, Derek, and JJ each with a hug, you and Spencer walk up to the bar together to order drinks. Spencer orders water, which doesn't surprise you, but you've already decided that he needs a little help letting loose.

"Would you let me pick out a drink for you?" you ask, giving him your sweetest puppy dog eyes before he has a chance to shoot down the offer.

He sighs as though annoyed but his smile says other wise. "Fine, but go easy on me please."

"Two rum and cokes please, and make mine a double."

The two of you make your way back over to the rest of the group with your drinks. You listen to the four of them chat about some recent cases they've worked on. The topics don't bother you much, as you've always found that line of work intriguing. Since you're mostly listening, you finish your drink fairly quickly before Penelope speaks up.

"Enough work talk! I came to dance. Who's with me?"

Finishing your final sip, you slam the glass down on the table. You stand up to join her. "I'm in!"

JJ stands as well. "Alright, lets go, ladies!"

You hand Spencer back his blazer and look to him and Derek, waiting to see if they'll join.

"I'm feeling a little sore after that take down the other day. Maybe I'll join when I'm s a few more drinks in," Derek says.

"I'm okay for now." Spencer sees your hesitation when you realize he wont be joining. "Its okay though! Go and have fun." He gives a smile to let you know that he'll be fine. "Plus I have Morgan here to talk to for now."

"That's right, pretty boy!" Derek laughs as he throws his arm around Spencer, messing with his hair.

You laugh at the two as you turn to join the girls on the dance floor. You're grateful that those two have one another. Spencer is an only child and Derek seems to act in a big brother role. You know that it's good for him.

As you make your way to JJ and Penelope, the DJ is playing Now or Never by Tritonal. You are so grateful for a place that has good taste in music. EDM is just another one of many genres you enjoy. You and the girls are belting out the words together: "I'd rather have one night, than nothing foreveeerrr!"

As the beat builds you pick up your pace on the dance floor, giggling and dancing around with your friends. The beat finally drops and you're jumping and letting loose. You haven't had this much fun in a long time. Towards the end of the song, your gaze lands on Spencer. You notice Derek has left him to flirt with a girl over by the bar. He brought you along so he wouldn't be alone, and here you had left him. You make your way over to sit next to him after ordering two shots. You sit down next to him and slide his over towards him. He catches it as he raises his eyebrows at you.

"C'mon, you're gonna dance with us! I figure it will probably help if you drink to loosen up a bit first."

Spencer stares down at the shot in front of him, clearly questioning whether or not he should go along with this.

"You don't really have to, Spence. But I thought I'd at least try. I don't want you to have to be all alone over here. And I think you might actually have fun, if you gave it a chance. Plus, I can't dance at all! So you'll be fine as long as you stick with me."

This causes him to chuckle. He looks up at you. "Thanks, Y/N. I do appreciate it. I think everyone else has just kind of given up on asking me to join. But since you care enough to try I guess it's the least I can do."

"Woo! yes! Okay...bottoms up?" You look to him as the two of you clink your shots and down them in one quick motion. He seems to struggle a bit more after, since he doesn't do this often.

You hear Dirty Sexy Money comes on and your eyes light up with excitement. "Yes! This is a great song! Come on!" You grab his hand and lead him out to the dance floor.

You can tell Spencer is a bit unsure of himself still. You grab both of his hands and start to move him around, just trying to get him to loosen him. Both of you can't help but laugh. Neither of you are actually dancing well, just goofing off and having fun. Alcohol leaves you with more confidence than usual, so you're singing the song out loud, not caring who hears. You feel your confidence building even more. The problem with drinking is, you tend to get a bit flirty. This is usually directed at the nearest person, and it's usually the worst possible person. You begin to stop caring who's watching or how you're coming across. The song makes you feel sexy and you want to have fun.

Your dancing changes from silly to sexy as the chorus begins. You've got your hands in the air as you do body rolls. Your hips are swaying with the music. You're not sure how they got there, but before you know it your hands are wrapped around Spencer's neck. He looks so attractive to you right now. Your eyes stay locked on his as you sing the words of the song. You're feeling even more bold so you turn your back to him and grab his hands to place them on your sides. You shimmy down towards the ground and back up again. You feel him tighten his grip on you. You turn around to see a wide-eyed Spencer. His face is beet red and he's sweating despite not having danced much. You know that if this was bothering him, he would have walked away. The alcohol is keeping you from caring how this will affect your friendship afterwards. All you can think about is now. His words, his actions today, HE had made you feel confident and sexy. In this moment, you wanted him to know that. You're too buzzed and too busy taking in how good he looks to notice his eyes dart down to your lips, not so differently from what you had done earlier.

The thick tension in the air between you is quickly dispensed as the song changes. As Last Friday Night comes on, you pull Spencer over to the rest of the group on the dance floor, which now included Derek. The five of you end up singing and dancing around together, but you and Spencer can't help but stealing glances when the other isn't looking. Neither of you can forget what happened earlier. The other three share knowing looks.

As the night comes to a close, the group parts ways. Spencer opens the door for you as the two of you step outside to head back to your apartment. Most of the walk is made in silence. He passes his car outside your building and walks with you all the way back to your door. After unlocking it, you turn to him to say goodnight. Once again, your eyes land on his lips, one of his many wonderful features. You find yourself wishing you could kiss him, but your logic tells you this would not be a good idea at the moment. You are aware that your judgment is clouded. So instead, you pull him in for a hug. He buries his face in your shoulder as he whispers "Goodnight Y/N" next to your ear.

You rush inside and close the door before you have a chance to do anything you regret. After getting ready for bed, you are surprised to hear a small alert from your phone. It's a little late for anyone to be texting you. It's Spencer.

You fall into your bed, crawling under the covers. It feels comfier than usual, but you know it's because of how tired you are. You take in the feeling of the slick sheets against your skin and the warmth the blankets provide. You fall asleep with a smile on your face, remembering all the events of the night.

The days rolled by quickly, summer fell into fall and jisung was so excited! He walked around the dorm pondering on what he can do to surprise the group, he wanted to decorate, and he also wanted to decorate him and his boyfriends room…’hmm I could go to the store and get Halloween decorations’ he thought to himself. But he’s lazy so, he sits down and starts watching scary movies, the cheesy ones that aren’t too scary- because he actually isn’t into the whole Friday the 13th or nightmare on elm street, so he just put on killer clowns from outer space and sat back, he was barely paying attention to the sound of his phone dinging but the second ding had him looking down. Seeing Minho texts and he lifted his phone up and called Minho.

“Hannie get dressed”

Why do I need too?”

“Just do it damn.”

And the call ended just like that and he got up and got into something comfy, he slipped his black ripped jeans on, and his favorite hoodie going to the bathroom, he washes his face brushes his hair and then brushes his teeth. Applying a little makeup and a lip tint he smiles and takes a pic only sending it to Minho who replied with “🥺” and he goes out and slips his boots on and waits. Soon his phone dinged again he looked at the notification springing up.

‘I’m outside cmon!’

Han rushed outside locking the door and throwing his keys in his back pack slipping his mask on, double checking. ‘Okay keys, wallet…headphones, gum, phone he patted his back pocket, makeup bag’ he nodded at his things and left getting into the car smiling at Minho who sat staring at him “you look nice Hannie…” he said blushing and looking away “thank you baby!” Han kissed his cheek as they started to ride.

Soon they ended up at a pumpkin patch, Han stared amazed at the apple orchard that stood proudly over dozen of pumpkins, which were strategically placed all over the Field. “THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!” Han yells making Minho jump and smile. Yes is Han super loud on camera and super hyper yes, but off camera he’s a shy, quiet individual, who on occasion bursts out a few jokes and screams but other than that he’s a relatively calm guy so it catches Minho REALLYYY off guard when he does scream, “I’m glad you like it. Let’s take Tons of pics okay!” Han only nodded as they opened the vans door and jumped out. Han seriously could never explain how a phone camera couldn’t capture the beauty he was seeing. The scene before him was like a picture painted out, cloudy grey skies as orange red and yellow danced around with the orange pumpkins laying on the green grass, and parents and couples picking ripe apples from the apple tree and kids running playing tag or hide and seek. Han was in love and he questioned why he’d never seen something more beautiful, but he did see something breathtaking- and that was Minho walking forward and turning around to pull his mask down and smile at Han putting his hand out to wait for his boyfriend to return the gesture and hold his hand. He snapped a pic quickly and shoved his phone in his pocket and they proceeded to get a wagon that was clean of course; the wagon also had a built in bucket for the apples (because of covid everything was labeled clean and dirty and also because of dirt from the pumpkins) from there Han smiled and hugged his boyfriends arm “when we go home let’s watch Charlie Brown and help Felix bake..” “haha no babe you can help Felix bake I don’t go into the kitchen” “why..” “because I’ll burn it down on accident” Han started laughing super hard and Minho pushed him slightly forward “pick out two pumpkins you think are perfect for us! And then I have a treat also” Han nodded and started running around happily like a kid in a candy store. Minho snapped pictures of his happy boyfriend who then put two big perfectly round (albeit had some marks but those will be carved out later) orange pumpkins. “Good now let’s go pick some apple yeah?” Han nodded as he climbed up the latter “just throw them down! And I’ll put them in the bucket!” Minho called up to him and he nodded soon after a hour of picking and rotating between who picks and who catches, the bucket was filled and they paid for the pumpkins and apples putting them in the back of the car, and soon they went on a hayride the truck that packed less than 20 (again for covid safety) the tractor showed them more of the beautiful orchard and the animals that where laying down, some cows, and a few chickens. It was slightly cold but not cold enough to where they needed to be inside. Han and Minho filmed and snapped pics of it all.

After there date the two came back to a spooky themed house the rest of the group decorated while they where out (because Minho planned this) their skzoo characters dressed up and placed around the house, Han would have admired it more if he wasn’t so sleepy, so what did Minho do? He ran them a lavender scented bath and made their bed and got themselves ready for a much needed nap, Minho smiling as han laid on his chest sleepy peacefully. Minho looked through countless photos Han posed for. His favorites being the one Han didn’t know he captured, still being so beautiful even if he didn’t know his picture was taken. And he smiled he was really whipped for this man who laid on his chest snoring softly.

Olsenbanden 2016 - What is your favourite movie from your childhood?

💌 - Honestly I’m wracking my brains trying to remember because all of a sudden I have no recollection of any movies i liked as a child AHAH- I guess this is an odd answer but I really like Clueless, i know it’s more of a teen movie but teens are still kids essentially, and it’s still my favourite movie to date tbh- I like chick flicks ahah~ I first watched it as a pre-teen/young teen, and I’ve rewatched it soooo many times, and as i grew older I understood the more adult jokes more. so yeah it’s kinda from my childhood? it remains a favourite for me, I haven’t stopped liking it so- kinda strange answer but yee (I love the main character, Cher, she’s so funny!)

Fine Line Album Review

Golden 

Great, great choice of opener. I agree with Harry, it def sounds like a song I want to drive down the highway to :) I love the layered vocals and the summery background vocals. Love the vocals panning back and forth in your ears during the bridge. Love the slide guitar that comes towards the end, and that his voice goes up an octave. This song leaves me feeling excited and ready for an adventure.

Watermelon Sugar

This song is and always will be a BOP. I love the horns in this song, they add a lot to the song. This is a really funky song, I esp love his vocals on the “I just wanna taste it, I just wanna taste it, watermelon sugar high” parts. Camille said in an interview once that this was her favorite book so this is a subtle little hint from Harry. I do wish he’d changed up the chorus a little, but other than that, all good. 

Adore You 

I love love love the thick bass that runs like a river through this song. So sexy. This song is also such a bop. This song has some really tasteful guitar licks and an amazing chorus - super melodic and those harmonies after “like it's the only thing I'll ever do’ are so beautiful. I don’t see myself getting tired of this song. 

Lights Up

I still love this. I love that the opening acoustic guitar gets louder and louder as it kicks off. The drums at 0:18 (and again at 1:44) are two of the sexiest moments on the record, no doubt. I love the dreamy feel this song has, the groove sits so well in the pocket. Same with his lighter, more uplifting voice. Love the scream before the “step into the light” lyric, and the choir effect is super cool. This song is like laying in the dark with colorful floaty lights everywhere. 

Cherry

I love this song very much a lot. I love the quiet, folky plucked opening guitar, and it’s so cute that the song starts with Camille’s “coucou”. This song is the perfect example of the pettiness Harry has referred to. The lyrics “don't you call him what you used to call me” and “does he take you walking around his parent's gallery” are such petty lyrics, haha. Love that throughout the song you hear the “coucou” parts here and there in the background - nice little detail. The crescendo towards the end is beautiful, even though I do wish the drums were a little louder by the end, but wow. And I actually really love the voicemail. It makes the song feel so much more personal. We’re hearing something that initially wasn’t for us, but he chose to share it in this song and it fits so well. 

Falling

LISTEN. This is currently my favorite song on the album. This was the first song I went back to after I’d finished the record for the first time. This tune sounds like a breaking heart.. and THAT you can’t teach. Can we talk about the riff he adds on the third “falling” in the choruses? STUNNING. I love how emotionally invested he is in each song on this record, it’s so cleverly done across the whole board, his voice connects the lyrics to the sentiment and tone perfectly. *chef’s kiss*  

“What if I'm someone you won't talk about?” “what if I’m someone I don’t want around?” - those lyrics go straight to my heart, every single time. There’s no irrelevant shit with this song. And the last “I’m falling” he sings where his voice breaks because of the passion he’s singing it with, made me tear up when I first heard it. Truly a ‘wow’ moment on this record. I LOVE it. *grabs another tissue* 

To Be So Lonely

Love the dulcimer in this song, and the double cello bass. I love the more arrogant and flippant tone this song has. It’s a little more tongue-in-cheek, after some self-reflection and realization perhaps...? And it’s so petty that he sings “don’t call me baby again” after learning that that’s what Camille used to call him in Cherry, haha. At 1:12 he lights up a match and then blows it out. He’s so good at adding these little things that make the whole sonic landscape really interesting. Nice nice nice. 

She 

Again, I love the thick and prominent bass you hear in this. Def hear his Pink Floyd admiration here. Again he changes up his vocals and we hear his voice in an octave we haven’t heard much of - really cool. This song is over 6 minutes long, and I like that he's challenging our attention span with these longer songs. You get so used to the standard format of 3 and a half minute song, but by adding that guitar solo I’m reminded of the rock songs of the 60′s and 70′s where they made these longer songs all the time. I think I’ll appreciate this even more live than I do on the record actually. 

Sunflower, Vol 6 

Very fresh-sounding, interesting and trippy. I feel like I’m on a tropical island with this one. I love how much he experiments with new sounds - fun that they brought in a sitar here. And again he’s using his vocals in a really cool way, adding layers, echo, and reverb. Love the “I couldn't want you anymore, kiss in the kitchen like it's a dancefloor” lyric. And the added lil thing of taking deep breaths before starting several of the lyrics. No one is making songs like this now?? Saw someone describe this as “This song is the cute part of a romance movie where they’re just vibing and doing cute shit together” and I agree. 

Canyon Moon

I feel like harvesting some corn, haha. I’m getting summery vibes during the cold Norwegian winter and thank you for that, Harry. The campfire handclaps are really fun and jovial. This song feels very Simon & Garfunkel-ish imo and again, there’s so much is going on sonically. The whistling in the background is cute. This song makes me feel like we’re a young couple in the 70’s traveling around the world. 

Treat People With Kindness

This song is giving me major Queen/musical but also commercial vibes?? I do appreciate the sentiment behind this song - it brings a dose of positivity and it’s warm-hearted. We do need this message in 2019 for sure. The “here we go”, “one more time”, “just a little more kindness” and “all together now” are really fucking cute but this is my least favorite on the album. Sorry. 

Fine Line 

What a fucking way to close off the album, wow. Very Bon Iver-y with the layered vocals and the reverb. This feels very emotional, very raw, very intimate.

I like that throughout the album we heard a few different variations of ‘sun’ references when it comes to Camille. Addressing her as “golden”, “sunflower”, and here again with “you sunshine you temptress”. I love how he holds some of the notes and leaves them lingering a little, and it’s really beautiful to hear how easily he goes up into a falsetto from his head voice. After feeling like I’m standing in the rain, the skies finally open towards the end and we’re greeted with sunshine. The trumpets and drums that kick in adds to a more optimistic and joyous ending. 

And ending the song and the album with “we’ll be alright” - what a beautiful message to leave us with <3 This song is gorgeous and it’s gonna be incredible live. 

Final thoughts

All in all, I’m super happy and impressed with his sophomore album. My faves are Falling, Adore You, Lights Up, Golden, Cherry, and Fine Line. I love that he’s paving his own way and not following any trends. He’s also experimenting so much with new sounds on this album and using a lot of different vocal techniques. which keeps things really interesting for us listeners. The one “complaint” I have, is that he tends to get a bit repetitive with his lyrics, esp on his choruses. But ugh, I really love this album, it’ll be on heavy rotation forever and I can’t believe he’s making music like this at 25 tbh. He’s amazing and I’m reallyyy proud. 🥺

Honestly I’m so surprised that I’m enjoying linguistics but i think since i speak english and german i’ve just always been interested in language and esp english since it’s just my second language so i was forced to learn more about the language than just words and grammar, because it’s such a big part of me and also i didn’t always have a british accent so i kind of had to... develop a british accent, and it was natural but also kind of wasn’t??? Anyway why was this one sentence like 17 lines i’m sorry

YES OMG EXACTLY and obviously i’m missing out on the whole uni experience i mean I’m introverted anyway but i don’t mind going to a party every now and then? but i haven’t talked to a single person from my uni (except in class when we had to analyse a poem or something— okay technically some of my friends go to the same uni as me but they’re all studying other stuff)

So in Germany (as far as I’m aware) you can start at 17 and you can’t have your test before you’re 17 years and 6 months old (idk why) and then you’re not allowed to drive alone until you’re 18 and then you still have two years on probation(is that what it’s called?) and you’re not allowed to drink a single sip of alcohol before you’re 21 (and drive) (cause in germany you’re allowed to drink when you’re 14 (if your parents are with you and allow it), then when you’re 16 you can buy beer and wine, and when you’re 18 you can buy everything. But you’re not allowed to drink and drive (even if it’s just 0.01 promille) until you’re 21)

(Okay I just googled and I don’t think you say pro mille/per mille in english sksjsjs but like the percent (or something...) of alcohol you have in your blood (idk biology sorry) (not that you asked about drinking and driving anyway? 😭 but there you go lmaoo)

Also idk if that’s just a UK thing or you also have it in the US? But all of my relatives from England keep asking me how often I’m driving with my parents (for practice)... and in Germany that’s.... not allowed? Like in england you can get these L (Learner) plates that you can stick on the back of your car and then you can drive anytime with your parents, but in germany you can only drive with your driving instructor during a paid for and legally organised driving lesson so. This is gonna sound so dumb because who tf wants to work? But I’ve always wanted a summer job 🥲 like nothing too exhausting obviously but i’ve never earned any money by myself? I haven’t had a single job in my life (not that I’m that old and like only one of my friends has worked in her life like we’re young sksjsj) and yeah i think it would be really cool to have a summer job and earn some money 😌 but during the summer holidays (they’re only 6 weeks in germany) we’d always go to england for at least two weeks and then we’d drive to bosnia to see my dad’s family for a few days and then to croatia and then to Bosnia again sksksksms so i never had time for a summer job (obviously i’m aware that it’s a fucking privilege that i’ve never had to work and that i get to go to multiple countries during the holidays but yeah)

It took time, most definitely. First, Ashton had to come to terms with the fact that he had no right to end someone else’s -even more if that someone was you- friendship on the basis that he simply was being stupid.

Doing some thinking it dawned on him that him and KayKay had ended it on good terms, they were civil and there was no reason whatsoever for you to stop seeing her just because he wished you did.

Plus, he saw how tormented you were about this. He couldn’t help but feel like it was his fault. Ashton saw how much sadder you were, how you couldn’t shake off the uneasiness even when things got better. He didn’t like seeing you like this, and knowing he was to held accountable for it broke his heart.

So he apologised.

It was a rainy Saturday afternoon, one of those ones the two of you spent cuddled inside watching movies and being stupid. Ashton couldn’t stop looking at you curled up against him, a hand resting on his chest and the other holding his tight. The words spilled out of his mouth before he could think twice about what to say.

“I’m sorry”

You looked up at him, dumbfounded, trying to meet his eyes.

“What for?” you sat up straight, missing the warmth radiating off of Ashton’s body almost immediately.

He just sighed, looking down at your hand still holding his.

“I’ve made you miserable, trying to make you find a way to be KayKay’s friend and still be with me” he looked up, your eyes were slightly wider than before but looking at him nonetheless. “I just want you to know that it really is okay to be her friend. I’m not going to tell you what to do with your life and I really don’t see the problem”

You lifted a brow, albeit stunned by his apology you knew he for sure had seen a problem with it at some point. He huffed, the ghost of a smile adorning his lips.

“Anymore”

A genuine smile opened up on your face as you leaned in to kiss his lips.

“You’re the best” he murmured still against them. “And I was an asshole. There’s no excuse for what I put you through. I just hope you and her will be okay”

Nodding, you let your forehead rest against his and your eyes flutter open. “We’ll be okay, I’m seeing her tomorrow for coffee!”

The both of you giggled, the quiet sound coming to an end thanks to Ashton’s lips on yours again. “I love you. I’m sorry” he reminded once you came up for air again.

“I know you do. I know you are. I love you” you smiled.

Everything was looking up again.

so the past two months have been Crazy

i started college and have not touched a single episode of any show in 2 months (i’m at a reallyyy intense film school so i’ve seen like 40+ movies in the past two months and have no time to Breathe)

also i’m scared for the show to end. i don’t want to see it go. i’m gonna be so happy yet so sad to see something so exciting then it never happen again

so my answer is, probably not for a while. clearly, i’ve not touched tumblr for more than a brief moment in 2 months. same for everything but letterboxd for obvious reasons. i really promise that i will eventually watch it, but it might not be til december.
