I've said something like this before, but what the fuck happened to this site?

Why do some people act like you jimmied the lock open on their personal fucking diary and wrote a book report about it if you have any comments on their post, like they didn't intentionally post on a website that specifically allows people to do that.

You post some shit on your blog and then people repost it to their blogs with their thoughts. They can do that because it's on their blog now that they've reposted it. And you are allowed to have you own opinions on their own blog! That's how this works! That's how it was intended to work!

First it was declared "annoying" to make direct responses to posts, so we all started cowering in the tags to be able to say anything even though the OP (and now, everyone) can see the tags just as easily as anything else...so it's still cringe to put things in the tags!

"I see other users are mentioning their own thoughts and experiences in the tags! Well, I didn't ask!" Like their post is their personal fiefdom or something and how dare peasants talk out of turn. If you wanted that experience turn off notifications, or tag things don't rb, or make a private post, or post on a different platform that allows you to turn off comments, or like don't post at all. These are all options that are available to you at any time!

Do you know how many ways there are to express your thoughts and feelings exclusively to people you know and like? A lot. Why don't these people go there instead of posting to tumblr.com?

So I was donating blood and was thinking of an AU where Billy knew he was Captain Marvel, knew how to access his powers but retained nothing of Marvel’s memories. A consequence of the magic is that the human mind can’t comprehend it so Billy transforms and essentially blacks out until he changes back. I can only imagine the sheer frustration of Bill having No Idea what he was up to as Marvel. His street buds think he’s the biggest Cap fanboy because he’s constantly tracking down down info on the heroes fights and missions in a desperate bid to understand. 

Marvel himself would be Billy but maybe he too has a hard time connecting to his mortal self’s memories. He knows he’s from Fawcett City, that he struggles and barely scrapes by under difficult circumstances but he really can’t recall any details or information about Bill’s life. He may even forget that his true self is child. Pretty ironic if Cap is voting down introducing child sidekicks to the League.

Freddy is shaking Billy down for info about what the Justice League is like and Bill is red faced from frustrated tears because he knows Nothing. He knows via interviews that the JLA loves Marvel, trusts him and talks to him alot but he doesn’t remember. Superman probably told Marvel his identity but does Bill know? Nope and its incredibly annoying.

#the slightly more angsty version of this AU is where Billy *doesn't* know about Marvel #and essentially gets his body hijacked to become random without his knowledge #he's so scared bc he'll black out and when he's aware again 4 days have passed and he has no idea what happened #but in this slightly happier version Bill is fully aware #he just cant retain anything he knows as Marvel #it will be super awkward when Bill's identity comes out #everyone is freaking and Bill is trying to calm them down like 'hi I know you're friends with Marvel and I'm Marvel but I know nothing' #Clark greets Bill as himself and is confused/saddened by bill's utter confusion on this random reporter chatting him up #the JLA has to reintroduce themselves to Bill #and keeps a running track of everything they told Marvel so they can update Billy #altho lash petitions to not tell Bill about that mission where Flash ran full speed into a lamppost #the JLA in general probably censors what they tell Bill trying to protect him as much as they can even if Billy is screaming at them #so yey maybe a little less nightmares and trauma in this AU but Bill is pulling his hair out in frustration

i consistently dance on the fine line that runs between "every element of good omens is meant, there are no mistakes or overlooked details to this show", and "this show was made by obviously very incredibly talented people, but they are by no means infallible"

I also absolutely love how Rozemyne's weirdo ways have infected her retainers. While certain attendants are treated with more respect due to their knowledge and skills, the idea of this treatment being based on status has no grounds. Not counting scholars, her attendants and knights are headed by a mednoble and laynoble. But more than that, I just adore how they get along despite it all. Sure, Hartmut may bully everyone, but they all respect each other and rely on each other. Every single one of them is important. That's not even mentioning the ways she's affected their thinking, actions, and ideas of respect to the point some have no issue arguing in front of royalty for the comfort of their lady.

Just saw a random video of a Star Wars x wing folded from a single page. Would Eiffel be able to do that? I feel you are the one to talk about his skills the most accurately. I think he would see that origami and get excited and try to fold it from the same piece like 2-3 times, give up and get annoyed. But then someday he’d do it without really noticing and get SO excited when it works out

hm. partially, it might come down to framing? if you told him it was origami, he would be like, i don't know, that sounds complicated. but i guarantee he spent many long hours of class time (and subsequent detention time) perfecting his paper plane folding technique, so. if you presented it to him that way, he'd be like, why didn't you say that in the first place? but, that said, he's bad at following instructions, not known for his finer coordination, and it's a tricky thing with a lot of very precise steps, so i don't think it would be his preferred hobby if he had other options. he likes to build and tinker with things. get him one of those star wars lego sets or model building kits; he'd love that.

... i think hera would like origami, though, if she had hands to do it with. i think she'd find something like that grounding. maybe that's my answer, actually. eiffel would get frustrated, but hera could make him little pop culture crafts. as tokens of her affection.
