[Hybrids Disease: Reader Character]

So me and a friend were talking about my Hybrid Au from last year, and we started playing around with the idea of "What if Dating Sim"

So I made a Reader/Player character XD

I am not going to make a dating sim, bc that's a lot of work and I have too short an attention span to manage it TwT, but I still wanna put it down.

Story:

A new Disease starts appearing around the world where people develop pokemon characteristics, even to the point the infected person can turn into a pokemon at will. No one knows what causes this to happen, and so far there is no cure, the only thing they know is that it's not contagious from person to person. Regardless, the populace is unsettled by the sudden appearance of "Hybrids", and are fearful of those infected.

It comes to the point where region wide lock downs are put into effect to try and slow the spread of cases while also attempting to ensure those infected won't be attacked by those who are paranoid over it.

After 5 years of lock down, the restrictions are slowly lifted and the player is happy to finally be free to walk around without worrying about a curfew, since they're someone who enjoys walks at night. Especially after hearing rumors of a strange area in the forest where there is a constant fog that's impossible to find the other side through. Intrigued, that is the players first stop.

Unbeknownst to them, they are about to meet a pair of hybrid twins who are both extremely starved for social stimulus and affection.

Emmet:

A Clefable Hybrid capable of turning into a pokemon and using moves. He's also able to create a terrain of fairy mist to protect the territory him and Ingo live in. Together they can make it impossible to find the manor hidden in the forest.

Emmet is at first suspension of the player and their intentions during their first meeting. He's a little rude and short with the player, only wanting to know their intentions and wants them to leave asap, but will warm up if the player is honest with him. Emmet is traumatized by prior experiences of being harassed prior to lock down, and is slow to open up, but is very obvious that he WANTS to open up and trust the player. Being a fairy/normal type, Emmet is weak to playfulness, and prone to playing jokes, if the reader plays along, it will raise his interest for the player.

When interest rises to a certain point, Emmet will start trying to get the players attention, becoming very clingy and wanting to spend more time with them. Emmet will start sharing more of his interests, while also giving more information about events prior to lock down. You have gained his trust.

Ingo:

A Gengar Hybrid capable of turning into a pokemon and using moves. He's also able to create a terrain of ghost atmosphere to protect the territory him and Emmet live in. Together they can make it impossible to find the manor hidden in the forest.

Ingo is nervous around the player at first, keeping his distance from them during their first meeting. Ingo feels that because he is a ghost/poison type, he has a frightening appearance and does not want to scare the player, but only wants to help. If the Player acts friendly, unafraid of him, Ingo will start to warm up to them. Due to his insecurities and slight trauma from something that happened before lock down, Ingo keeps a physical distance. If the player is patient with offering physical affection and coaxes him with sweets to help him relax, it will rise Ingos interest for the player.

When interest rises to a certain point, Ingo will start showing more affection for the player by sharing his interests and becoming a bit more physical and clingy. Ingo will start opening up about his insecurities and the events that happened prior to lock down. You have now gained his trust.

Purple Route:

Player will receive a purple hair clip from Ingo as a gift, signifying that you have successfully captured your romance target. From here, Ingo will be more openly affectionate and a little clingy, and if the player so chooses, the route can take a spicy turn from this point.

Good End.

Pink Route:

Player will receive a pink hair clip from Emmet as a gift, signifying that you have successfully captured your romance target. From here, Emmets antics to get the player to pay attention to him will calm down, but he will still act very clingy, and if the player so chooses, the route can take a spicy turn from this point.

Good End.

Grey Route:

The player has successfully captured both targets, however, this route is natural, leaving the player in a friendship with both Ingo and Emmet, rather than as a romantic partner.

Good End.

Blue Route:

Unlike the Grey Route, in the Blue Route, the player has unlocked a hidden route where they are able to capture and romance both Ingo and Emmet. Within this route the player can explore both sides of romance with both twins and their different love languages, whether as shows of affection or in the bedroom.

Secret Good End.

Red Route:

Unlike Blue or Grey, in the Red Route the player has unlocked a hidden route where the Player has triggered a Yandere code within the twins. As a result, the Players character is no longer allowed to leave the twins. Ingo and Emmet love the player so much, they do not EVER want to lose them.

Secret Bad End.

I'm actually getting very excited to share Geckos, Automata. I've been sick the past few days and have an event next Saturday, but I've been chipping away at editing in-between things. I had to rewrite some chapters toward the end. They were rather rushed. Not that I mind short chapters. Kind of relief to have chapters that are rarely over 2k and even some lower than 1k after Seasons, where I think the average chapter is 5k... (I should check that sometime.)

Geckos, Automata will probably be under 75k by the time I'm done editing and rewriting sections. That's refreshing. I'm so glad it's a short story! I can write short stories? WHO KNEW?! (So many of mine are long. Nearly every story in the dragon universe is going to be 250k+ on average, given what I have planned for them...) Anyway. Life is kind of weird. I am not finding work that I can do with my health, and transportation is an issue until I have a job. (I want to buy my mom's car off of her before my dad decides to trade it in when they go to get her a new one. The car was T-boned when a truck ran a stop sign, and the place that fixed it did a shit job so my parents had to put down another $1600 to further fix issues that were ignored. I would give them more money than a trade at this point, and the car is sufficient for minor errands.) Here's hoping my writing takes off, since apparently my health is just a shit show. But I do have coverage so I'm slowly but surely making appointments. Next month, I see a doctor about getting tested for Sjogren's and other issues. I've been going to the library in the next town over, and I plan to get two more library cards (one for the city nearby, one for my town) soon. I checked out Wolfsong by TJ Klune and need the rest of the books, the city has them but one of them has a huge waiting list... I am in love with this series! Anyway. That's all. Have a picture of "my" cats. (Roommate's, technically, but they're sharing.)

They are Barnaby and Mildred (yes those are OC names as well, but listen) and we call them BB and Millie. Or Princess Millie, Reverse Card (he has a spot on his back that's white, a spot on his white stomach that is black), Silly Millie, and like... a thousand other things. BB is complaining bc I put their fishing rod toy on the ceiling fan for a few minutes to go do something real quick before I went back to playing with them... (It's a ribbon. I didn't want them getting wrapped up in it.) Millie is my best friend. ;A; I'm slowly convincing her my lap is a place to snuggle on. BB is the most hyperactive cat I have ever met and likes my roommate more and thinks I'm just a food/treat dispenser and the person who should play even when I'm TRYING TO EAT AFTER PLAYING WITH THEM TWO STRAIGHT HOURS OMG SLOW DOWN CHILD I BEG YOU (They're 2+ years old and former outdoor kitties, we adopted them back in January. BB actually has the TNR clipped ear, hard to see in this photo but his gorgeous ear, I hate that they did that to it... ;A; )

My heart is going faster just to see a DeanCas hug immediately followed by Saileen :P I suppose it’s just a The Hugs Of Season 12 part, and I regret Dean did not randomly hug Rowena in 12x11 because she’s left out :

Dean n Ketch drinking followed immediately by Mary and Ketch looking heterosexually at each other putting 12x14 and 12x12 back to back. Bold move. 

Like, random selection of Things again after showing the Colt and it shooting. Just like, random shots they like I guess. Rowena getting splattered by that guy Crowley killed for her reminds me a LOT of the Pastry Mishap in 8x08 and I never said at the time so as not to ruin the moment but of all the blood/cake splatters in the show those 2 are most alike

Eeeeey layering Dean and Ketch shooting off their grenade launchers and showing the end result as the one where Cas watches unbothered by it. Now THAT is a meta point I muttered to myself somewhere in my 12x22 madness (I was pretty feverish that week)… All the Ketch-related character mirroring and Dean using it to free himself but also that Cas is ~immune~ so to speak of all this grenade launcher posturing. And all the subtextual links to Dean breaking down those walls leading him closer to Cas, who is beyond all that posturing…

And then blurry sad Winchesters and Mary being sad and - Gavin? - and back to TFW and Mary being sad… 

*random clips mushed together again that I don’t think there’s enough conspiracy to link all these moments like Crowley coming back and being stabbed and Kelly’s suicide attempt and Ketch driving by on his bike* A lot of shit happened in season 12. This montage has a lot of MotW stuff.

I LOVED them putting Dean going “pew” with the Colt to Mrs Umbridge being shot 

This is the slow music, people slowly looking up and then having glowing eyes section, and then a bunch of witchcraft and magic, everyone running, MORE hugs they missed earlier… More sad Winchesters over “nothing else matters” before cutting to Cas and Kelly - uh, I think he does :P

Loved them using Dean being punted through the door by Billie in 12x06 side by side with Sam and Dean being punted back out the portal in 12x23 because that links COOOOSMIC CONSEQUENCES that much nicer

REALLY getting into the fighting and explosions and then they included the bit where Dean slammed Cas against a wall and my brain shorted out and dropped back in at Dean riding Larry.

I’m glad Larry was in this

WHY WAS THE ONLY THING ANYONE SAID SO FAR DEAN’S “NO” FOR CAS BEING STABBED? THAT’S JUST CRUEL

AND THEN A RESPECTFUL FADE FROM BLACK TO SLOW MO BYE BYE MARY LIKE NOTHING ELSE GOT A FADE TO BLACK YET

Oh Mary got one for being stuck in the AU (not Lucifer, no one cares about you, Lucifer)

And Kelly got a really short one

Oh NO and then the “nothing else matters” over Cas’s face close up and Dean all sad and asdfgjlkfhs they already SHOWED the last shot of the season earlier! THEY CHANGED IT SO THE LAST SHOT HERE WAS THE DESTIEL END OF SEASON SHOT.

And Dean all helpless and hey watch season 13 on Thursday October the ducking 12th. 

And the 13 Death tarot card because this show is Edgy but not edgy enough to air on Friday the 13th and it hates it

You can taste the bitterness.
