2. maya to me is a girl that wears leg hair with pride. i'm sorry i can't imagine her in any other way and i picture her chubbier than capcom made her just bc she deserves that powerful look

3. miles edgeworth is a quiet rebel to me. this hc started when i saw a post about how putting your hands in trousers pockets isn't proper etiquette and miles does it anyway so... i just think he does these small things to feel mischievous and like his own person, maybe he did them more in his youth. and i also think the steel samurai and watching it also feels like rebellion to him and gives him a certain thrill? idk if this makes sense honestly

4. i think i made fanart of this one before but i basically hc that the short animations we see before a case (esp the ones in aa1 revealing the culprit) are phoenix's dreams that he barely remembers but they guide him like an intuitive sense. because yk how in aa2 the animation we see is an actual nightmare of his... and he definitely has some spiritual ties there somewhere.. and in aa4 he deadass predicts the future ominously to apollo sometimes... and he goes through spirit medium training with maya bc she makes him.....it makes sense

5. pearly's aged-up design is way different in my eyes. like i'm sorry but she should rebel so much after the ways she was raised, let her have the most unfortunate haircut in the world and funky makeup and cool clothes

1. miles is the final form in the evolution line of the autism creature, so agreed. although i think gregory is not around enough/too old fashion to notice it, and von karma is a dick and would purposefully avoid getting him diagnosed; i think he got diagnosed after moving out. overall a strong 9.5 out of 10

2. i can definitely see her with body hair, but idk about the body fat because she has to stand under waterfalls for days so the training probably requires a restrain from food (kinda how monks fast) but im not in opposition of her being chubbier. 7 out of 10, capcom give us more details about the training plsss

3. lets just say ive been planning to draw something related to this idea... so 10 out of 10, hes shy and unsure about it but hes still a rebel at heart.

4. i think he just smokes weed when he reads case files and we just get to trip with him (yes this chronologically doesn't make sense but idc). Brother is the plainest cringefail guy - hes the last person anyone should give magic powers to, theres like 7 billion people who'd be better off with them. this one is a 6 put of 10, im not big into magical powers.

5. i hate pearl. well more like i hate children and pearl is a child, but they failed with her so bad the design... 9 out of 10.

As worrying as the phoenix and pearl photo is, does franziska have a part in bridge to the turnabout? Because I think you said edgeworth and nick were the defence and the prosecution?

I actually drew the art of edgeworth and nick being defense and prosecution before finishing Bridge to Turnabout, when we were still on the first trial. And things get so much more bonkers fucking yonkers after that. As much as I LOVE the idea of edgeworth and phoenix facing off, I honestly can't find a way for it to work. Here's what I have now--subject to change of course, since this AU is not really coherent and is more an excuse to draw phoenix being a bastard and edgeworth being a sexy white hair anime boy

-Edgeworth overhears a conversation between Morgan and Dahlia plotting to use Pearl to kill Maya and Mia at Hazakura Temple. He reaches out to Misty, Mia, Diego and Iris to formulate their plan

-The plan is for everyone except the prosecutors to stay with Maya and Mia at the Inner Temple. No one will channel Dahlia. Phoenix and Edgeworth's job is to keep Pearl busy, keep her from channeling Dahlia, and if that fails, keep her from going to the Inner Temple. But even if she does get there, there'll be people to protect the Feys. Edgeworth had his cane customized again to contain a sword, just in case

-It goes wrong, of course. Pearl, worried about Maya and Mia's training, slips away from Phoenix and Edgeworth to try to get to the Inner Temple. On her way over, the dinner bell rings and she channels Dahlia

-Since Phoenix was the one to get Dahlia the death penalty in this AU, she doesn't go along with Morgan's plan. She turns around, finds a dagger, and decides to kill Phoenix. She doesn't know Edgeworth is awake

-When Dahlia doesn't show up, the Inner Temple gang realize something is wrong. They go to check the bridge and find it's on fire. Iris realizes that Dahlia is going for Phoenix and tries to cross the bridge, but falls into Eagle River

-There's a scuffle on the Hazakura side. Pearl doesn't die, but she ends up seriously injured with Edgeworth's cane. Phoenix probably would've let her kill him, if Dahlia hadn't realized he cared for Edgeworth and gone for him first, intending to kill Edgeworth in front of his eyes

-There isn't a murder, and what happened to Pearl is easily explained, so there isn't a trial. Franziska comes back from Europe nonetheless as soon as she hears that Edgeworth is in the hospital again

-When the Inner Temple gang are finally rescued and find out what happened to Pearl, they blame Phoenix. Phoenix is cool with that. He blames himself too.

-But Dahlia almost succeeded in her goal. If she ever gets the chance, she'll come back again. They have to make sure she's never channeled again.

-Do they succeed? Who knows...

-anyway if anyone else has any ideas for how this case could go differently feel free to add them! This case is so interesting in this au i think because Bridge to the Turnabout's plot is so intricately dependent on the specific roles each character plays in the story

We started singing "Hot n Cold" in a ridiculous voice and when I got to 'you're wrong when it's right' I said, instead "You're Edge-wrong when it's Wright~!"

I just spent the last 20 fucking minutes singing "uwu / I got a disease / walkin' 'round through the crunchyroll / neko neko nee~! / everybody's like, 'whatcha got?' / I'm like 'pocky!' / they're like 'you so weebish, I'ma call the police!'" in different voices of Ace Attorney characters- like Miles, Phoenix, Gumshoe, Maya, Gant, Ema, Ini, and Polly, because we just thought it would be fun. It was so stupid, but so god damn funny. Gant was kinda hard, but it was by far the funniest. It was very hard to do it in Miles' voice, I literally just gave up. I couldn't do it. Unfortunately, had to shut everything down, since it was 3am and I didn't want to get too loud & wake up my parents.

As soon as Pearl spoke, she was like "She's adorable, I love her so much!1!1!"

Phoenix was like "Maya! Don't bring up his name! He's gone..." And she looked at me like "you fucking asshole. You lied to me about us seeing Edgeworth again!" And I was like "well,,, technically not,,," and she was like "photos!! And a flashback!! That's different!!!"
