The Earth Promises the Wind - Genshin Impact [For You, Always]

First drabble I did for Jean and Jia, aka For You, Always! This also serves as some backstory stuff, with how Jia gets her Vision! I think I figured this was around when the Ragbros are about 16-ish! Jean and the twins I see as being a bit older than the Ragbros, so ye! Have some banter!

Growing up in Mondstadt, there's no denying that everyone knows everyone to some degree. But even in such a close knit community, there are still smaller groups of friends. One of the most well known ones, and most talked about, are a promising group of friends from various clans. 

Jean Gunnhildr, expected to serve Mondstadt as her family has before her. Even her younger sister, Barbara, is already showing interest in serving the church, like their father. 

Diluc and Kaeya Raginvindr, each already promising Knights in their own right. Prodigal and charismatic. Heirs to the Dawn Winery and Angel’s Share tavern. 

Calla and Jia Yan, while not from any notable clan of Mondstadt, are well known all the same due to their unique upbringing, split between Mondstadt and Liyue. 

Diluc had long since recieved his Pyro Vision, being blessed by the Archons. Jean had just recently recieved her own Vision. Anemo, blessed by Barbatos himself. As of yet, the rest of their group has yet to earn Visions of their own, however no one in Mondstadt would be surprised if they did. They were clearly a league of their own. 

Not that that exceptionalism is entirely inherent, or else Jean and Jia wouldn't be here. Outside of the Knights of Favonius, with Jean practicing her swordswork to better figure out how to incorporate her newfound powers and make the best use of them. 

Jia was seated on the stone wall for the moment, a practice sword propped up beside her. She was far more comfortable with a bow, but couldn't deny the importance of having even a passing familiarity with close combat, and who better to train with than the best swordsman in the city? 

Though sometimes, Jia feels bad for asking Jean for her help. She's busy enough as is, such a heavy weight on her shoulders. Rising in the ranks of the Knights, already Master of Knights. Expected to give her everything to and for Mondstadt, by demand of her last name. Now she has the pressure of having a Vision, living up to the ideal of Freedom, despite having far less freedom herself than she realized. 

Jia cupped her cheek in her hand, watching Jean go through her usual drills, this time with Anemo infused strikes. She was focusing hard, her eyebrows furrowed and eyes narrowed at invisible enemies. She'd forgone her jacket, getting too hot in the afternoon sun for so many layers. Though, Jia certainly wasn't going to complain, finding that it was easier to admire her longtime friend's hard work this way. The muscles built up over the years, difficult to see when she was in full uniform. A sign of her physical strength, which still paled in comparison to her mental strength. To withstand such constant observation and critique, it takes confidence not many have. 

There's no one quite like Jean. 

But that also means no one fully realizes the pressure she's under. How sometimes she struggles to stand her ground, to prove she has earned her station. Even Jia, who's spent years earning her trust to be her confidant, may never fully understand. But she knows about the sleepless nights studying up on codes and laws by candlelight, the long hours spent training. 

Oh how she wishes she could spare Jean some of the strain. Share some of the burden…

“-vat to Jia?”

Jia say up straighter, blinking to focus as a flush quickly spread across her cheeks. “Huh?”

Jean was now facing towards her, her eyebrows furrowed in concern now, instead of concentration. She still held her sword, though it now hung simply next to her side, her other hand resting casually on her hip. “Are you alright? It's not like you to zone out like that… it's okay if you're bored, you dont have to stay.” 

Jia shook her head, laughing as she tightened her ponytail, embarrassed at being ‘caught’. “I’m fine, don't worry. And I'm certainly not bored.” She reassured, flashing her friend a playful grin. “I was just debating my odds of getting a proper sparring out of you.” 

Jean seemed to consider the answer before her shoulders relaxed, and she let out a small laugh. “I shouldn't be surprised. But are you sure you're up for it?” 

“Are *you*?” Jia countered, standing up and stretching out some. “You're the one who's been training for so long with hardly a break.” Her tone had softened to genuine concern, watching Jean’s expression closely. She'd never want to push her more than she has to. 

Jean hesitated some, at least seeming to consider. “I'll be fine. I still have room to improve, after all. And I can't say no to a good sparring partner.” She answered, adjusting her grip on her sword. 

Accepting that for now, Jia chuckled out a sigh as she picked up her sword, futzing with it some to get familiar with it in her hand again. “Alright… but say something the *second* you need a break, okay?” She insisted, walking over to Jean. 

When Jean nodded, Jia smirked and held out her free hand, pinkie lifted. “Promise?” 

Jean laughed softly, lifting her own hand to hook her pinkie with Jia’s. “Promise.” 

“Then I can live with that.” Jia beamed, backing up a few steps after they dropped their hands, lifting up her sword. Jean lifted her own, letting Jia take the first move. 

Jia was far from as fluid as Jean, her movements sharper and less precise. But she made up for it somewhat with her strength, helping to pose some semblance of a challenge for Jean. They kept it simple to begin with, a back and forth, rather like a dance. 

If only they could dance properly, to proper music, instead of the rhythm of flashing swords. 

Jia spun out of the way of Jean’s next attack, grinning as she got an idea. She easily moved behind Jean, lowering her own sword to not risk hitting Jean as she reached up, undoing her signature black bow from her ponytail. She quickly stumbled away to avoid the sword swinging behind Jean next to try and make contact. 

Jia just laughed, holding up the ribbon triumphantly, ignoring how her cheeks flushed slightly darker as she watched Jean's blonde locks fall down along her shoulders. 

“Jia!” Jean ‘scolded’ through surprised laughter, pushing some of the hair out of her face. 

Jia beamed innocently in response, dangling the ribbon teasingly. “Well? You gonna come take it back?”

“You *brat*!” Jean laughed, lunging towards Jia to continue their sparing session, and try to get her hair tie back. 

Jia didn't falter, managing to block the attack while still holding the ribbon out of Jean’s reach, if just barely. 

Hopefully Jean couldn't hear her heart trying to beat out of her chest having her so close that they were practically cheek to cheek. 

Jia was snapped out of her thoughts again by the feeling of the ribbon slipping through her fingers, and Jean’s triumphant cheer as she backed off to quickly tie her hair back up. 

“I can't *believe* you did that while we were in the middle of training.” Jean laughed, shaking her head as she set her sword aside for the moment.

There it is. This is the moment that Jia wishes she could trap in a bottle and keep forever. This is how Jean should be, getting to laugh and relax and play around. Getting to simply be. 

In that moment, Jia made a promise to herself. To stay by Jean’s side no matter what. Jean’s goal may be to protect Mondstadt, but Jia is going to protect *Jean*. To get to keep seeing her smiling and laughing. 

As Jia turned to grab water for her and Jean, she paused at the unfamiliar flash of metal next to her water bottle. Upon closer inspection, Jia couldn't help but gasp in surprise, picking up the brand new Geo Vision. 

“Is something wrong?” Jean asked, looking over to Jia as she finished tying her hair up, pausing mid-tie. 

Jia beamed excitedly as she turned, grabbing the waters quickly before going over to Jean and offering out the Vision for her to see. 

Jean stood straighter in her surprise, quickly finishing with her hair to instead reach out and gently touch the Vision, as if to confirm that it was real. Then she beamed, her hand under Jia's and giving it an excited squeeze. “You’ve earned your own Vision!” She cheered. “The strength and steadfastness of Geo, how fitting!” 

Jia was far too excited to explain why she thinks she earned her Vision now if all times. She'll just keep it her little secret. Her Vision is a physical manifestation of her most important promise. She will be a safe haven for those she loves, a sturdy pillar to support them.

To protect Jean, be the shield to her sword. To help her stand, even when the weight of the world hangs heavy. For you, Always.

OOOOOOOH MY GOD I HAVE A WONDERFUL HORRIBLE IDEA--

I wanna preface first that this is following the harbinger Diluc ask i sent, following the idea in the post i linked. Okay so, now that we have ground rules, lets get into some ANGST

Imagine that the honorary knight had just helped Mondstat with the whole Stormterror problem. He and Jean followed Venti to Stormterrors point where the traveler had to then rely on Barbatos-- sorry, Venti's powers in the fight against him to purify Dvalin. The three of them had just returned back to the city of Mond with Dvalin himself as their personal taxi and Kaeya returned back to the Knights HQ or merely just helped with the relief efforts around the city after the crisis. Kaeya leaves the traveler with his citys god at the cathedral where theyll put the lyre back in its rightful place.

Some time passes, a lot actually-- half a days time flying by in the blink of an eye with all the work on Kaeyas shoulders. And he finds himself resting at the bar of Angels Share, Charles having made him his signature drink. Its still strange to him, how he now owns his once brothers family dynasty of wine. How he disappeared after that day and a few months later, a letter arrived-- dumping all of Diluc’s inheritance, everything he owns to Kaeya. He would've tracked down the sender but, deep down he knows he wouldn't find anything that would lead him back to him. He didn't know if he still wanted to talk to him after what happened.

And as Kaeya absent-mindedly swirled his drink and let the idle information flow into his ears and straight into his head, the Traveler enters the tavern clearly looking for someone. They meet his eyes and walked over, wishing to talk with him privately. He obliges, bringing them to the barely occupied second floor. A nod and the traveler starts talking.

Apparently, their return of the lyre hadn't gone as planned. They did return it yes but... someone came and-- "what? Ripped out Bar-Venti's godhood?" The traveler nodded. "This... guy, he took Venti's gnosis-- apparently it was the thing that made him a god? Or at least connected him to Celestia. I--I dont know why, but... it seemed like he knowed him. The person who took Venti's gnosis I mean. He looked... really sad the whole time, like he was pitying us or something."

Kaeya tsked. "This must the leader of all the fatui stationed in Mondstat. Can you give me a profile? Even if they scrubbed the scene, there has to be something i can pull out of him or his men." They nodded and started recalling what happened. "They have... long red hair, red eyes, red clothes, a whole lot of red actually-- which is kind of convenient since they have a cryo vision. Threw both me and Venti for a loop."

They scratched their chin. "It was kind of weird too-- from my general experience with dealing with the fatui i thought hed be... ruder. No backhanded insults or anything. It was just... a really strange experience. Although when he mentioned cleaning the scene so the knights couldn't do anything, it was almost like he bit into some rotten fruit."

Kaeya tightened his grip on his glass. "By any chance... did he wield a claymore?" "Oh no, not at all! Just some sort of weird catalyst. Why, do you think you know who this guy is?" "I'd... I'd like to say I used to."

He waits by the beach near the winery. It was actually kind of generous to call it a beach, more of a shore-- a riverside beside a waterfall. He doesnt care to disguise himself in any way, hes sure that anyone who'd see him would think him a ghost anyways. Except for him. He knows he'd come, not every fatui in Mond wears their mask and uniform.

Everything he felt about the knights, his family, everything really-- has been cooled from his fiery rage to a smoldering coal, soothed by the gift his Tsarita had given him. Though he may never truly understand, he appreciates that the Tsaritsa herself protected his brother from him that day. The love of the Tsaritsa is truly kind. And kind and loving she is to bring him in as one of her own.

"Diluc? Is that you?"

He turns, red hair shifting in the wind.

"Hello Kaeya."

TLDR-- a what if scenario where, instead of Signora being placed in Mondstat, it was hARBINGER DILUC-- MMMM ANGST POTENTIAL

I forgot to mention in the last post that I was getting more vibes of like the Tsaritsa adopting Diluc again. Not really a full Ice Prince but Diluc being a beloved of the Cyro Archon.

Because she simply supports him with a love that he's never really understood before.

It's great; with that, he'd become totally devoted to the Tsaritsa because she is family now. And I've always seen the family as an important concept to the people of Snezhnaya so that probably has grown into Diluc in spending time with the Tsaritsa.

And Kaeya who would consider himself Diluc's family still would still be really hurt.

I was thinking pokemon x obey me, it's more of MC being a trainer but the angels and demons don't know about pokemon, since in some headcannons I see that demons tend to have really out dated knowledge about humans/human realm, so MC comes with their team to the devildom, I wanted to go the extra mile and make them a 10yr old since that is when in pkmon they start their journey. Basically young MC with a buff team and the bros reacting to said MC that can "comand" powerful beasts, all platonic ofc(team:Gallade, Aegislash, Incineroar, Corviknight, Golurk, and Audino) sorry I've been having this brainrot for a while now but i'll understand if you don't want to and again sorry for the long and very specific request 🤔

Yeah sure this was tough to write but fun I'm a fan of super specific request and its the first time writing only platonic. I made it more like them adopting MC lol but I hope you still enjoy also were gonna say Belphegor didn't kill mc this run

A child being brought to the Devildom had been unplanned and upon the demons first seeing you it was believed to be a mistake. It took serval checks of the papers for them to say this had to be right. Barbatos took the liberty of taking care of you at first explaining what was happening and why you were here a pleasant smile on his face the whole time as he severed you human food and drinks. " If you think this might be to hard however we can send you back please dont feel pressured". The child laughed shaking their head "I can handle this!" and so began your very odd time in the Devildom a time where you had to learn Pokémon just weren't a thing here?

Lucifer

Lucifer is the second person to find out about your Pokémon and oh my was it not a fun day. Though he wasn't happy having to look after a human child it was clear you were willing to learn and work hard. Putting up with proved easy until he met your team but even then he was quick to move on. Mammon and you had been hanging out with you showing off your team when Lucifer found you, He didn't notice them right away being more mad that you weren't studying and when he raised his voice your Gallade was ready to fight him for you.

Once it gets settled down he'll have you do alot of explaining what are Pokémon? How do you a child a human child control such strong creatures and on and on

Lucifer adapts to it quite fast however treating them how you ask him to and helping you get anything they might need

He's honestly a little happy to know you have more then just his family to protect you

Ground rules are set for you and them after he meets them Gallade, Aegislash and Audino are allowed to wander the house as long as your with them

Corviknight, Golurk, Incineroar, are not let inside under any circumstances unless its life or death and even then he might be kinda upset in the beginning

Out of all your Pokémon Aegislash is his favorite as both a sword and shield Pokémon it reminds him a lot of himself and what he want to be for his brothers

Never tell him about how you become a Pokémon trainer after the first few months Lucifer becomes very protective of you, you are now family and the idea that you were allowed to just go out and fight at 10 lets just say it makes him very unhappy

Mammon

Mammon was the first person to meet your team and honestly he was over the moon about it. This little human has all that power and he's the one watching over them. His first thought will be on making money with it but seeing how close you are to them he cant bring himself to even ask. He doesn't really think much about it after that he never thought about human things much so he just rolls with it.

Not very good at handling them right away he's really gonna need you to walk him through it they are nothing like his crows after all

With that you know Corviknight is his favorite and it shows when you have them out

All of your Pokémon took quite well to Mammon it was easy for them to see he had no real ill intent after the meeting and he makes your feel safe

Though he cant always help you get things for them he spoils them whenever possible

He also spoils you quite alot Mammon has always loved being a big brother even if he wasn't always the best and he take on that role for you and your Pokémon quickly

Really enjoys learning about how you met each of your teammates and why your chose them

He wont be shocked to find out about how you become a trainer he might be upset about it but birds do similar things so that's how he'll view it

Leviathan

Leviathan was the fourth person to find out he was almost mad about the fact he didn't see them sooner after all its just like that one anime! He gets why you might have wanted to keep them secret but while trying to find you he stumbled in on you with your Pokémon. Levi has seen anime like this don't worry he'll have your back

A true hype man always there to talk you and your team up, sure your a kid but that doesn't mean your weak

Not really sure how to help you so if you want his help tell him what to do or he will treat them like he does his henrys

Leviathan wants to hear all about your adventures all your battles and how you chose your team

Wants to get a Pokémon so badly but he so sure no Pokémon would want to be his

He has such a soft spot Audino if you ask him why he its because of how caring she is to you the real reason is because she kinda looks like she cosplaying Rui-Chan in her mega evolution form

Gets over the moon happy when any of your Pokémon want to play with him and if any of them like his henrys he's even happier

Never fully gets over the fact you have such an amazing team one you gather and made strong yourself, just thinks its super cool

Satan

Satan was the fifth person to learn about your Pokémon his curiosity had been peaked the moment you showed up but this just solidifies it. You being a child already made him wonder after all your very dedicated to your study's for your age to then see such power well he must know more. Truly why try to keep it hidden this is an amazing thing to have in devildom!

He's very interested in your Pokémon they all seem to have a "story" to tell with how they interact with you and each other

Thinks highly of you for being able to tame such power at a young age and will only say it out loud to your Pokémon

Tell him you fought god tell him you fought god and won and maybe can use him in battle watch his face light up that's it you are now his child

It should be no shock that Incineroar is his favorite and he makes no move in hiding it sure he likes it cause he's a cat but also because Incineroar is very protective of you and it makes Satan feel better

The most interested in learning about how Pokémon tournaments work and while you set off so early he really just wants to know everything about how it all works

Will 100% take you to the human world so you can help him get Pokémon for himself he wants to raise them he wants to battle along side them

He gets along very well with your Pokémon he trusts that they'll always be there to protect you and they trust to him sure he get mad often but e learns with you about how to control emotions

A good brother

Asmodeus

Asmodeus is the six person to be interduce to your teammates and he was both amazing and unhappy to say the least. He found out simply because everyone else knew he didn't care to much he had no interest but you were popular with people once they saw your Pokémon and he wanted to know why.

Loves Love Loves Audino and that's really it from your team he's okay with them its just most dont fit his style

Is interested in how you befriend them and why they lend you such power and learning almost every human use Pokémon is something he finds neat

Would want Pokémon for the style and would never battle with them but I think he would like the competition's, dressing them up and putting on a show

Asmo is good for getting along with Pokémon he friends then quickly and is happy to interact with them if you have them out

Though he doesn't spend much time around you he's happy to take you out shopping to get things for your team or even yourself

If your ever feeling down maybe you lost a fight or you and Pokémon are having problems he's great with the pep talk

Would love to see you perform in a Pokémon Contest yes he wants to try it out to but seeing you perform makes him feel so proud

Beelzebub

Beelzebub ended up being the third person to meet with the Pokémon and though he didn't fully understand at first he thought it was cool. Meeting them was a nice time and he was very happy to know you weren't alone here in the devildom.

It takes alot of worry of his shoulders to know you have protection with you at all times the devildom is a harsh place and his brothers cant always be there

Golurk is his favorite from the moment Beel met em, strong protective and always will to stand up for you and it remind Beel of how him and Belphie were

Likes cooking with you for your Pokémon and really likes helping you take care of them

Another really good big brother type here to be someone you can trust with your worriers and someone you can leave your Pokémon with

Wants to get a Pokémon cause he thinks there awesome friends and he sees how happy they make you

Training with Pokémon is a new past time for him whenever your doing something and cant fully focus on them

Also really wants to see you in contests with your Pokémon both performance and battle ones as seeing you all work together brings him joy

Belphegor

Belphegor is the last person to meet your Pokémon in general being the last person you met however he's also the only one that knows anything about them. Having been one of the only brothers to really love humans Pokémon are nothing new to him but you have some he's never seen before.

Knew right away that you had Pokémon at least one just didn't get to meet them for awhile

Meeting them was a very fun memory for him after being trapped for so long and harboring unkind feelings towards humanity his time around you was made easier with them as ice breakers

He likes all your Pokémon but Gallade takes to him the best so the two form a close bond with the idea of keeping you safe

He really wants a Pokémon a Meloetta to be exact and he'd name her Lilith he might want more later but for now he'd be happy with just that

with you being so young its defiantly a little easier for him to start being okay with humans again its a big bonus that you treat your Pokémon so well

The best when it comes to helping you with anything involving your Pokémon, from the basic care to making food and even training sure he likes to sleep alot but your like a little sister and he wants to help

The moment he found out you became champion and fought a god many gods? you became the best human in his eyes its an amazing feat to accomplish and at such a young age hmm yes child you will be the best member in the anti Lucifer club!

Wow ok I'm sorry this took so long but I hope you like it I found it fun to try and figure out how they would feel and stuff but I think it came out ok? I'm not super confidant with Asmo's but Thank you for reading and I hope your holidays were or are very good!- Lilly

Over-Tired OM Boys HCs

Here's the initial thing that got me started thinkin bout the boys, but here ya go-

Lucifer

- this man, once he hits overtired, is extremely gullible, which is why he locks himself in his office until hes done what needs to be done

- also cannot keep a train of thought for more than 20 seconds and it drives him nuts

- and then he loses his focus even more because he's upset

- you tried knocking on the door once, and told him when you closed your eyes, you couldnt see and needed to go to the doctor

- man went from frustrated to concerned in a heartbeat, only after opening the door realizing how foolish he had just come across

- but now the door was open and you had access to him, and reluctantly he let you drag him to bed

- Will deny it ever happened, and if you bring it up, expect a punishment.

- Though he is grateful you made him rest so he would not become the laughingstock of his brothers

Mammon

- over tired bby will ramble until he forgot what he was talking about and space out for a solid ten seconds before snapping back

- it doesnt matter if you're listening intently or only half listening, he makes no sense what so ever.

- If you can record him without him noticing you (which is easy to do in this state) and play it back once he's rested he's either facepalming and blushy for the nonsense he spewed or he managed to pick out what he may have been trying to say and gets super excited, going off on another more understandable tangent.

- Gaming is a priority

Levi

- Sleeping is not

- Levi usually ends up just tired, not wired but dear lord when he does-

- All that energy and passion he pours into the way he speaks about anime and manga?

- Its physical now...oh and hes slightly more extroverted

- Though its a rare sight, over tired Levi works out and rambles about whatever it was that made him stay up that long, and hes doing it all in your room

Satan

- Over tired Satan is a rare sight, though it happens often, as he holes up in his room

- He gets an impulse to clean, and will tidy and clean and organize his books, though it never lasts

- and theres no escape, he will start crying if he feels you arent paying attention or if you're about to leave

- Depending on who you are, he either becomes 10000000% testier, or hes a giggly mess, there is no in between

Asmo

- Finds everything funny, but will get pouty if it came from someone he doesnt really like

- Over tired Asmo is rare, likely the rarest of all the boys to see, save for Barbatos

- but he is a chaotic little fucker

- dear god

- He will raid the fridge and pantry worse than Beel, specifically when hes on a diet-

- Then MC you're either in for one hell of a story from Asmo, most of them his not-so-proud drunk moments that he never talks about for that reason but he cant stop himself-

-his laugh sounds even more high pitched than normal, and a little maniacal, and he finds everything he says hilarious

- you will go on an adventure probably

Beel

- spaces out randomly, and also cries easily, dont point this put to him and say yes to his adventures, he'll change his mind a thousand times on the way- just go with it

- overtired Beel happens quite a bit, usually after the victory of a game and the adrenaline starts to wear off- and then he still has stuff to do

- but instead of "oh" and maybe a small laugh when he realizes what happened its more ".....oh" and then he looks like he's having an existential crisis

- you will have to physically lead him to bed after that, he's too busy thinking and slowly eating whatever is in his hand

- he snacks to keep himself awake, and poor himbo man is even more gullible than usual

- will want to cuddle, but wont ask when hes like this

Belphie

- out like a bulb immediately

- The Avatar of Sloth? Over tired? yes it happens unfortunately-

- He gets even grumpier than usual because he can’t sleep

- Then at night its just restless tossing and turning

- yes even the seemingly flawless butler gets overtired, but opposite of Asmo, he is far better at concealing it

- Usually happens when he intentionally sleeps through important meetings and days for Lucifer back to back to back

- It’s another excuse to hold you though, so he might make himself over tired more often

Barbatos

- You will see him stifle yawns

- And when given instructions, his eyes widen slightly with concentration as he whispers the instructions over and over under his breath so nobody can hear, but its clear his lips are moving

- he cannot be bribed

- he can be intimidated though, and how you ask?

- “threaten” to go tell Beel or Dia because you know full well if they were asked, they would carry Barb back to his quarters if you can’t do so on your own-

- no he will not sleep

- Usually that’s enough to convince him, but you have to stay near to make sure he doesn’t leave until he’s well-rested, otherwise he’ll leave as soon as possible and try to get back to work

- buuuut if you’re “on guard” or in bed with him- well he might have a few extra minutes or hours to spend with you

Diavolo

- overtired Diavolo is rather rare, as Barbatos is very strict with the prince's schedule

- Still though if Diavolo truly wants to keep going...all Barb can do is prepare for the future

- Simeon goes into zombie mode when he's overtired

- He hates to admit it, but it tales every oumce of strength to not fall asleep in the middle of classes

- Not that Luke would let him

- He's a little dazy, a little slow, but even just a power nap gets the angel going again

Luke

- Babie boy, don't stay up with the big kids-

- an overtired ten year old follows a certain progression

- grumpy, denial in need of sleep, chatterbox, chatterbox, chatterbox, chatt- oh he fell asleep in the middle of his sentence

- will not acknowledge anything in the morning, even as he walks out of his bedroom instead of the random place he slept, instead carrying on the conversation he left half finished the night before

Solomon

- hah

- he has spells

- who needs sleep?

- bastard also pushes himself too far, but disguises it with more ease than anyone else, at least until its just the two of you

- He tends to run his hand through his hair more often, fidgets more

- hes a little jumpy too, so continue with caution if you dont want to be turned into a frog-

hi there !!! how r u?? so um, i hope i dont mind me rambling here about a obey me x genshin crossover i kinda came up with- basically i was imagining genshin characters as the exchange student in devildom- like how would they react to venti? maybe he would pretend to be a human and only reveal his true powers if he'd get attacked- or what about xiao? would he try to attack them? hello!! i’m doing alright, got a bit of a cold but it’s relatively mild ^^

this is an interesting premise!! jotted down some ideas under the cut ^^

xiao’s based in chinese culture so the kind of demons he conquers aren't quite the same as the theological demons that the om demons are based on, so he wouldn’t automatically sense and attack them or anything, but he’s still very cautious (levi thinks he’s the coolest because he’s like a badass anime character complete with tragic backstory in real life)

knowing who supposedly ‘fathered’ the om brothers, they’d probably be very unsettled by having a god among them, so if any of the archons ended up being the transfer, they’d be best off keeping their godhood a secret until they’re more familiar with everyone

asmo and lisa would be best pals. two pretty best friends. they have like little gossip sessions over tea and asmo helps lisa make excuses for skipping work in return for her providing cool electro lighting for his photos

lisa would also get along with satan - she's a librarian and he loves reading, and he can understand why she's so strict about books being returned on time. that aside he also respects how clever she is

xingqiu, however, would NOT get along with satan, despite the two both being bookworms. they'd get into heated debates over their books and would absolutely brawl over it

(xingqiu pulls a sword out of nowhere and suggests they 'take this outside like gentlemen' while satan just straight up flings a chair at him)

satan would also immediately take diona under his wing if she was the transfer student. he just adopts her as his kid and can and would beat up anyone who looks at her funny (would also be 100% willing to help take down the wine industry with her)

mammon and zhongli have a mutual lack of money and mammon keeps attempting to drag zhongli into money-making schemes while the gentleman is completely oblivious to what he's up to

childe keeps challenging beel to battles because he's got the physique of a good fighter and childe wants to know if he could realistically beat up someone that beefy without his vision

xiangling is intimidated by the sheer amount of tall men at first but soon enough settles right in and is fascinated by devildom cuisine. beel never wants her to leave because she is literally incapable of making anything that doesn't taste good to him

luke and barbara become best friends (simeon jokingly comments that they look like a set of twins). they cook and bake together and barbara teaches luke some of her simpler dance routines and they just have a lot of fun

yanfei is capable of talking circles around lucifer and diavolo for hours so she never gets into trouble for anything. satan enjoys listening to her law lectures because he finds the subject genuinely fascinating, while belphie’s mainly interested in getting her to help him prank lucifer without consequence

venti keeps thinking he’s being addressed whenever someone talks to barbatos and he jumps out of his skin whenever it happens because no one down here is supposed to know that he’s a god (they all just think he’s some very young-looking music nerd)
