have some hurt/comfort, cj style. happy thanksgiving even though it's already 1am my time <3
The kitchen is so thick with tension you could cut right through it like butter. Eddieâs washing the dishes and Steveâs putting away the leftovers from dinner. They havenât spoken a word to each other the entire night, not since that afternoon when they were screaming at each other.
Other people would say that they donât remember what or who started the argument in the first place, but Steve knows exactly what happened. All because he let his dumb mouth get ahead of his brain. And itâs not like he hasnât tried to apologizeâhe tried the second the words left his mouth and then five more times after that but Eddie wasnât having any of it.
Which is fine, heâs allowed to stew in his hurt feelings for as long as he likes, but Steve is worried that this might be the first time they go to bed with one of them still mad, and he doesnât know if he can handle that.
He shuts the fridge and turns around to lean against the counter, his arms crossed over his chest, letting out a quiet sigh. Eddieâs back is turned to him so he can only see the movement of his shoulders as he scrubs the dishes harder than he ought to.
Heâs still pissed, then.
Steve lets out a quiet sigh. Heâs the one that started this whole mess so heâs got to be the one to fix it. He needs to come up with something to get Eddie to at least look at him.
He stands there for a few more minutes as he thinks but then the light bulb in his brain flicks on and he leaves the kitchen.
Eddieâs probably washed this bowl three times already but he doesnât care. Heâs still worked up from his and Steveâs fight earlier, he could drop the bowl and it could shatter in the soapy water and he wouldnât even blink an eye.
How dare he, Eddie thinks bitterly, rinsing the soap off and placing the bowl in the dish drainer a little harshly. How dare he think he has the right to even insinuate.
All he wanted was to spend the extra little bit heâd had left over from his paycheck on some new miniâs heâd seen down at the bookstore and a couple of books that had been on his list for ages. He made sure to put back enough to cover his half of their rent and bills. He was careful.
But Steve still had to go and open his stupid rich boy mouth.
Eddie feels the familiar prickle of white hot anger on the back of his neck and he takes a deep breath to calm himself. Itâs not his fault that he grew up poor. Wayne did what he could to support the both of them on his single paycheck every month, but that money only went so far. There wasnât enough to spare to open an account with the bank, so they just went without.
Unlike the Harringtonâs, who apparently had accounts open across multiple cities and even a couple overseas.
Steveâs father had drilled the importance of wealth management into him from an early age and made him use his first allowance to open a savings account at the age of ten. His boyfriend had a goddamn retirement account by the time he was eighteen.
So when Steve goes and assumes that Eddie doesnât know how to handle money just because he wants to splurge for once and buy something he enjoys, Eddie thinks that his anger is a little more than justified.
Eddieâs eyes sting with oncoming tears and he blinks them away with a shake of his head. He doesnât need to cry right now.
As he reaches for another dirty plate, music suddenly fills the kitchen from the Bluetooth speakers on the counter, soft piano trilling and the melodic humming with an R&B beat.
He freezes when arms slowly circle his waist from behind and Steve rests his chin on his shoulder.
Some people live for the fortune
Some people live just for the fame
âDance with me,â Steve murmurs, pressing a gentle kiss to Eddieâs shoulder.
Eddie suppresses a shiver and the instinct to lean back into him. âI donât-â
âEddie.â
Another kiss, this time under his ear. Fingers gently trace along his arm.
Some people think
That the physical things
Define whatâs within
Eddieâs walls crumble like sawdust when Steve laces his fingers between his own soapy ones. He lets Steve pull him away from the sink and they slowly sway in the middle of their kitchen. He can see straight into the living room, where theyâve already set their Christmas tree up in the corner by the window, fully decorated even though itâs still November. Theyâve got a hodgepodge of decorations and knick knacks already set on various shelves and tables with Christmas lights strung in almost every doorway.
As they dance in a slow spin, their cheeks pressed together, Eddie thinks back to how much fun they had setting all of it up. How Steve held the mistletoe above his head every chance he got just to be able to kiss him. All of his remaining anger slowly melts away and heâs left with the overwhelming feeling of how much he loves this man.
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, yeah
âIâm sorry,â Steve says, and he sounds like he means it. âI didnât mean what I said earlier, when I said you should be more responsible. You were right. Itâs your money and youâre the only one who gets a say in how you spend it.â
Eddie sighs and tightens his arms around Steveâs shoulders. âIâm sorry, too. I got defensive, but I shouldnât have yelled at you like I did. I shouldâve listened to you when you tried apologizing the first time.â
Some people search for a fountain
Promises forever young
Some people need three dozen roses
And that's the only way to prove you love them
Eddie pulls back a little and looks at Steve for the first time in what feels like ages and is flooded with emotions that make his chest tighten when he sees the soft smile on his boyfriendâs face and the love in his eyes.
Eddie cups his cheek and leans in to press a soft kiss to his equally soft lips before resting his head on Steveâs shoulder with a soft sigh.
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you, baby
If I ain't got you, baby
âAre we really slow dancing to Alicia Keys?â he asks after a moment. Steve shakes with silent laughter and Eddie gently smacks him in the shoulder. âItâs a serious question, Stevie. I need to know if itâs a contender for our wedding playlist.â
Itâs Steveâs turn to freeze now and Eddie canât hold back his giddy smile when he pushes him back by the shoulders and gives him a wide-eyed look.
âWedding playlist?â
âWell, I was planning to wait until Christmas to pop the question, but. Yeah. I even got a ring.â
Steve gapes at him like a fish before yanking him in for a kiss by the front of his shirt. Itâs more teeth than lips because they canât stop laughing long enough, but they eventually get a hold of themselves when Eddie wraps his arms around Steveâs neck again and presses close, thier lips slotting together seamlessly.
âSo I take it thatâs a yes?â Eddie asks between kisses.
Steve nips at his bottom lip. âOnly if you learn to stop kicking your socks off in your sleep and leaving them under the covers at the end of the bed.â
âThey twist around my toes, Stevie,â Eddie pouts, trailing kisses along Steveâs jaw. âMakes âem feel like pigs in a blanket.â
Steve tilts his head back to give him more room, the music completely forgotten. âThen donât wear them to bed at all.â
âBut then my feet will get cold. Do you want me to put my icicles on your legs, Steven? Would that make you feel better?â
Steve throws his head back for a completely different reason and groans. âYouâre going to be even more difficult once weâre married, arenât you?â
Eddie grins against Steveâs throat. âAbsolutely, oh husband of mine.â
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, you, you

NOW THAT WE DONT TALK
summary: jack realizes yns music is quite literally a call out, directed towards him, and his brothers egg it on. pt.3
series masterlist
âi called my mom, she said âthat it was for the best!â remind myself the more i gave, youâd want me lessâ
jack couldâve hit his head against the counter ten more times and the song would still be ringing through his ears like a splinter that wouldnât come out of his hand.
quinns hand made contact with the back of jacks head. âknock it off, jack.â
jack groaned, shoving his head into his arms. he groaned again, this time the noise being muffled due to the his arm. âshe wrote a song about me, quinn.â
quinn rolled his eyes. âyou donât know its about youâ he told.
jack scoffed, head shooting up. âshe literally called me out. the parties, that stupid red sea reference, even the chorus. its so obviously me. and then her newer single that dropped thirty minutes ago?â
quinn shrugged, âcould be about trevorâ
jack rolled his eyes, âno way in hell, quinn. they never hooked up and her newer one is about some guy hooking up with her later onââ
âyou sound obsessed, jack.â quinn told. jack looked down, embarrassed.
âwhats jack obsessed with?â trevor asked, walking inside the kitchen. he stole a grape from jack and popped it into his mouth.
ây/nâs songâ quinn spoke.
trevor scoffed, âwhy are you so hung up on it? its just music.â trevor shrugged.
âhes upset because hes getting called out.â
jack groaned again, head hitting the counter.
quinn rolled his eyes again. âyouâve gotta stop doing that dude. listenâ she probably made these ages ago and just now got to releasing them.â
trevor popped another grape in his mouth. ânot too sure about that, but i know she started writing them when you two broke up.â
luke slowly walks in. âseriously? you guys are torturing the man talking about his ex.â
jack nods, signifying lukes words to be true.. luke goes into the cupboard to grab a plate. âjust ignore it.â he shrugged.
trevor snorted. jack sent the boy a glare, causing his laughter to abruptly stop. âhow can i just ignore it? shes getting big and her music is everywhere already.â he asked.
quinn gave him a look. âthen face it, jack. you canât keep putting yourself in denial for something you caused.â
jack let out an exasperated groan for the 100th time. âgee, thanks quinn. way to make me feel better.â
âdont start giving him shit, jack.â luke spoke.
jack rolled his eyes. âwhatever, im going to my room.â he got up and went for the stairs.
all three boys looked around at each other. silence fell through the room. suddenly, the sliding door opens. âwhats going on?â cole asked.
âquinn picked his side of the argument.â trevor spoke, slightly glaring at quinn.
quinn gave one back, âdont act innocent, trevor. you screwed her over too. you and jack need to own up to it and stop cowering like little kids. you are both in your twenties for fucks sake. grow up.â
quinn went off to his room, leaving a wide eyed group of boys behind.
jacks brows furrowed as he listened to the song in his earbuds. his girlfriend napped next to him as he sat up on the bed. he hates to admit it, but he kinda deserved this.
âlets fast forward to three hundred awkward blind dates later. if shes got blue eyes, i will surmise that youâll probably date her. you dream of my mouth before it called you a lying traitor, you search in every modelââ
he stopped the song, taking his earbuds out and tossing them to the floor. he cheated, and now was dating the girl he cheated with. it was sad, really.
fiona, she was a woman who loved money. jack, was a man who loved attention. maybe thatâs why they were together. but she wasnât horrible like people said, right?
quietly, he went to tik tok and made a fake account, that way she knew he didnât stalk her profile. i meanâ she has no idea he even uses it still.
jack searched fionas name up, ultimately clicking on her profile. she had one video up. he clicked on it.
ick ick ick ick
she was lip syncing that really terrible audio that went âhe chose me, he dont want you. he chose meâ and honestly, jack was appalled.
but before he could open the comments, she started to wake up. he swiped out of the app and deleted it, tossing his phone to the side afterwards.
âhey baby.â he smiled.
now that we dont talk!

hey lonely stranger (won't you meet my eye?) â reader x satoru gojo
notes: yes, hello, here it is, the infamous lonely stranger fic. i mentioned the idea a couple months back to @willowser i thought i'd write it after finishing shine on the sea, but as usual, where gojo is concerned i'm eating my words. title comes from this song. i apologize for me love of weeb music. anyway. i hope you enjoy.
contains: fem!reader (no pronouns, no physical description), typical annoying satoru gojo antics, the faintest hint of possessive/jealous gojo, unresolved romantic tension, allusions to canon typical violence
wc: 6.4k [ao3 link; account required]
There are a lot of places where youâd expect to run into Satoru Gojo.
A match-making party is most definitely not one of them.
First of all, why is he even here? You have no doubt that the worldâs strongest sorcerer has much more important things to do than attend a match-making party. Not that he even needs to in the first place. Even without the status and the prestige that his family name brings, his looks alone are more than enough to get people to throw themselves at his feet. That being said, his personality is definitely off-putting enough to make some marriage candidates run the other way. So, who knows, maybe he does need help finding a spouse after all.
You grimace, watching in real time as some of the bolder participants make a beeline toward him, eager to mingle with objectively the most attractive man in the room before the event officially begins. Even from your spot across the hotel ballroom you can see him basking in all the attention. Maybe thatâs the real reason why heâs here.
After all, thereâs no one who owns the limelight like Satoru Gojo.
Even though it is nothing new to you, thereâs something about watching all these people fawn over him that makes you sick to your stomach. You tell yourself itâs because theyâre being fooled by him and his offensively handsome face and not because youâre upset that heâs here.
You were actually kind of looking forward to this match-making party, but now youâre annoyed and it's all Gojoâs fault. Youâll have to avoid him as much as you can. It shouldnât be too hard later on when everyone is free to converse with whoever they want, but before that is the speed dating portion. Itâs an unfortunate inevitability that you will have to sit across from Satoru Gojo for two minutes of the hour-long speed-dating session, but maybe youâll be lucky and maybe heâll be one of the last, if not the last person for you.
In hindsight, you feel like you should have known better than to hope that luck would have your back when itâs always, always favored Satoru Gojo.
At first, you think it's merciful, sparing you from having to deal with him first. It would have really sucked for you to go through all your speed-dates in a Gojo-induced bad mood. But as he comes closer and closer one two minute interval at a time, you start to wish that you'd started with him first, and just gotten it out of the way.
Despite the threat of Satoru Gojo looming over your head, you do your best to focus on the people who come to your table. Two minutes is not a lot of time at all. Some seem to realize that and try to squeeze as much talking as they can in that amount of time. Some are paralyzed by it; awkwardly floundering for the hundred twenty seconds given to them. There are a couple people that you manage to enjoy a nice, albeit short, conversation with. Despite that, you still find yourself sneaking glances in Gojo's direction, hyper aware of the dwindling number of people sitting between you.
The man sitting before you now, Tasuke Tomoda, you think his name is, leans in toward you and gestures for you to do the same. He's the last person separating you from Gojo and he's been pretty pleasant so far, so you do as he asks and move a little bit closer to him.
"So, uh, I've noticed that you keep looking over there." His voice is barely audible as he inclines his head just slightly in Gojo's direction. âAt him.â
You inhale sharply. This guy is the first one whoâs noticed, or, at least, the first who's decided to say anything about it. You feel a bit ashamed to have been caught, especially when you thought youâd been discreet.
Just as youâre about to offer an apology, Tomoda adds, âIâm not mad or anything. I mean⊠heâs quite the looker, isnât he?â
Before you can stop it, you grimace and Tomoda catches it, his eyes widening in obvious surprise. âYou donât think so?â
You donât need to think so; you know soâ for as long as you have been unfortunate to know him, Satoru Gojo has taken great pleasure in flaunting his good looks whenever possible. You scowl and admit, your voice an annoyed sort of murmur, âHis looks are fine, I guess, but his personalityâŠâ
You don't know where to begin and you don't know if you should.
Tomodaâs gaze flits toward Gojo and he moves even closer, whispering so quiet that nobody else can hear. â...yeah, he does kinda look like an asshole, doesnât he?â
You reel backwards, laughing so loud that everyone else can hear. Embarrassment flashes throughout your entire body when you realize that both couples on either side of you have gone completely silent and four pairs of eyes are now on you and Tomoda. Oops. Immediately, the both of you bow your heads in unison to one couple, then the next (with you taking great care to not look at Gojo).
Once their conversations resume, you give Tomoda an apologetic smile. âSorry âbout that."
"It's fine!" Tomoda gives you a good natured sort of chuckle. "I'm just glad to have gotten a laugh out of you."
You blink, confused. "Why?"
His cheeks turn a light shade of pink and you think itâs kind of cute. âWell, itâs just that I thinkâ"
You lean in.
"âthat you're reallyâ"
The bell signifying to change partners echoes throughout the event hall, startling Tomoda out of whatever he was going to say.
Has it really been two minutes already?
Tomoda starts to rise to switch seats, but he looks conflicted, like he still wants to say his piece.
"Wait," you tell him and you're not sure if it's because you want to delay Gojo's inevitable arrival or because you actually want to know what Tomoda was going to say.
He stops, his mouth half open. Tomoda stares and you see the hesitation swimming in his eyes. It only lasts a second though and his mouth shuts as he makes his decision. He takes a deep breath andâ
"Excuse me!"
Your stomach lurches at the sound of the playful voice you know far, far too well. Tomoda looks like his soul is about to leave his body rather than his words. Slowly, reluctantly, you both turn your heads to look at the interloper.
Youâd tried not to pay too close attention to Gojo when heâd walked in, but with him practically in your face right now, your eyes canât seem to help but be drawn in. It feels like he really went all out tonight. His suit fits him perfectly, accentuating his long legs and slender yet built figure. The colors compliment his pale, flawless skin, his snow white hair and his infamous sky blue eyes. Gojoâs entire look is completed with a pair of sunglasses, over which heâs peering down at you and Tomoda.
Thereâs something about the amused glow in those dumb eyes of his that manages to royally pisses you off. You scowl at him, but he ignores you, his expression unchanging as he directs his attention to Tomoda.
"It's my turn now, you know," Gojo points out and while his tone is friendly enough, both you and Tomoda can clearly hear what Gojo is actually saying.
Leave.
"Right! I'm really sorry about that!" Tomoda exclaims as he basically leaps out of his seat and scrambles over to the next table. His table mate staresâ not just at Tomoda, but at you and Gojo as well. You can feel the pair on the other side staring too.
Fucking Gojo.
He is completely and unwholly unbothered as he plops down in the seat opposite you, a self-satisfying smile plastered to his face. Annoyed, you cross your arms over your chest and huff, âDid you really need to cause a scene?â
âHey, you started it,â Gojo says with a chuckle. âActually, I think you were so loud that everyone heard.â
âShut up,â you hiss, throwing your most venomous glare in Gojoâs direction, hoping that, for once in his damn life he listens.
Naturally, he doesnât.
âSo, whatâd that guy say that was so funny?â Gojoâs tone is casual, almost nonchalant as he leans in your direction. He reaches up with one hand to adjust his glasses, pulling them down just enough to reveal the shocking blue of his eyes staring you down.
You know he means to disarm you this way, to make you spill, but you manage to hold your ground. âWho knows? Thatâs between me and him.â
Gojo tilts his head to the side, still smiling as he responds. âOh? You into that guy?â
âAnd if I was?â you ask, your words nearly a challenge. In all honesty, you donât know if you can say if youâre into Tomoda or not. Heâs certainly made the biggest impression out of everyone youâve talked to so far and you wouldnât be against hitting him up during the free talk section of the event. Who knows? Maybe you just need to talk to him a little more to find out.
âHate to break it to you, but itâs not going to work out.â
âYou donât know that,â you shoot back, feeling defensive because Gojo doesnât know. Thereâs no way he could. His stupid Six Eyes can see a lot of things, but the future is not one of them.
âI do actually,â Gojo responds simply. His voice is even, with none of his characteristic smugness woven in. That being said, you think you catch the meaning in his words and it angers you even more. Just because youâre a sorcerer that doesnât mean your dating pool needs to be confined to the members of jujutsu society. You know a few sorcerers who have dated, and even married non-sorcerers.
âWrong! You donât know anything,â you insist viciously and if you were anywhere else youâd be just about ready to start throwing punches. Youâve never beaten Gojo in a fight (except maybe once, but you donât count that because you know he threw that fight), but heâs always down to brawl with you.
âI happen to know plenty of things,â Gojo grins at you, pleased and you watch, in real time, as his delight turns devious. âLike I know that you were checkinâ me out earlier.â
Your entire body heats up and youâre not quite sure if itâs from rage or embarrassment. Another eyeful of the smirk on Gojoâs face is enough for you to decide that it must be rage. âI was not.â
âYou so were,â Gojo teases, infuriatingly gleeful in his retort. âI totally get it, and itâs completely okay if you want to tell me how sexy I look tonight.â
âHell no!â you almost yell, ignoring the growing heat in your stomach. Has it been two minutes yet? Thereâs no way that this clownâs time isnât up yet. You glance at the big timer the eventâs organizers have set up and⊠you still have half a minute with this fool.
Itâs going to be the longest thirty seconds of your goddamn life.
âCome on,â Gojo nudges at you in that playful tone of his, seemingly determined to use every second he has to annoy you. âDonât you want to tell me?â
âFor someone as confident as you claim to be, you sure are desperate for validation,â you dead pan.
He ignores you. âOkay, okay, since you're feeling shy, I'll go ahead and say it: Satoru Gojo is the hottest guy here!"
You think you're going to hurl from all the second hand embarrassment. It's not like it's unnatural for Gojo to be so unashamedly confident but at an event like this you think it's probably a big no-no. "Gojo?"
âYes?â He sounds chipper, like he thinks youâre going to compliment him after all, but when it comes to Gojo, you live to disappoint.
âWhy the hell are you even here?â you ask in exasperation. Gojo has fifteen or so seconds left but you figure you might as well get something out of this exchange with him, âI doubt someone like you has a need to come to things like this, so why?â
A surprised look flashes across Gojoâs features, but he quickly conceals it behind a mischievous smirk. "You jealous?"
He punctuates his question with a wink and you roll your eyes. "As if.â
âUh huh.â
Five seconds left. âMaybe the jealous one here is actually you.â
You donât entirely mean it when you say it; you really intend to make one last dig at Gojo before he moves on to the next person. Plus, you donât even really think itâll affect him all that much, things like that never really do. At least, youâll get the last word here.
Or thatâs what you think. You should have known better.
Gojo flashes a smile at you and for a few seconds you completely forget what breathing is. Youâre used to playful smiles and teasing smiles, but the look that heâs giving you right now is different somehow. Thereâs something about the curve of his lips, about the borderline gentle glimmer of his crystalline eyes that sets your heartbeat into a frenzy.
Just as you remember how to breathe, he speaks, stealing your breath away all over again, âWho knows. Maybe I am.â
The bell finally rings, telling you that your two minutes with Satoru Gojo are now over, but you barely even register itâ your eyes fixed on the man before you.
Just like Tomoda, before him, Gojo lingers, and he looks almost a little pleased with himself. The familiar expression snaps you out of your stupor and you glower at him, shooing him away like heâs unwanted.
Like you donât want him to stay.
Like you donât want to ask him what in the world was all that about.
Because you donât, you really donât. Thereâs no need to, you tell yourself. Itâs just another one of the whacky mind games Gojo likes to play with you.
But even as the next person sits down across from you, you canât get the look on Gojoâs face out of your mind. Even as they introduce themselves, the only thing you hear are Gojoâs last words.
âWho knows. Maybe I am.â
Thatâs crazy talk. He had to be fucking with you because thereâs no way. No way that Satoru Gojo, of all people, would feel jealous.
Even though you know that, you canât get what he said out of your mind and before you know it, the speed dating section of the match-making event is over and you donât remember a damn thing about anyone who came after Gojo.
Youâre annoyed. Youâre so fucking annoyed that you wasted so much damn time thinking about that stupid blue eyed bastard, but itâs fine. Itâs completely and totally fine, because you still have the free talk session. If youâre lucky, one of the people who came to you after Gojo will be interested enough to come chat you up and give you the chance to make up for the fact you had temporarily lost your mind thanks to one Satoru Gojo.
And if youâre unlucky⊠Well, youâre confident in the thought that it should be fine to seek out Tomoda. In fact, you decide to do that first. Better to just go for it than wait around. You survey the ballroom that youâre all in and you catch sight of the man off to the side, looking around somewhat shyly.
Is he looking for you?
You donât want to get ahead of yourself, but itâs a nice thought. Nice, but⊠You shake your head; you donât want to think about him right now. Before the traitorous thoughts can sneak back into your mind, you march over to where Tomoda is standing, tightly gripping the cards in your hand. At the beginning of the event, the staff had handed these cards out, instructing everyone to fill them out so that you could easily exchange contact information with anyone who caught your interest. And since Tomodaâs the only one who qualifies, itâs only natural that you give him one.
A relieved smile spreads across his features when he notices you and it makes you think that he really was looking for you after all.
You offer him a small smile of your own. âHey.â
âHi!â he squeaks and his expression turns a little sheepish.
You tilt your head in confusion. "What's up?"
"Just⊠a little surprised that you came to find me.â
"Huh? Why?"
Tomoda frowns, looking conflicted and, finally, he answers in a slow voice. "Well, that really handsome looking asshole seemed like he was really into you."
You blink.
Huh.
Huh?
Huh!?
You nearly double over in laughter. No offense to Tomoda but the thought is just flat out ridiculous. Satoru Gojo is into you? No way. Absolutely no way in hell. Not in a thousand, no, a million years would Gojo seriouslyâ
"Who knows. Maybe I am."
Suddenly, your mouth is dry, your laughter dying in your throat as Gojo's words echo in your head yet again. There's no way he was serious then, right? He only said that to mess with you, to get the last word in, because there's no way, definitely no wayâŠ
You take a deep breath to compose yourself. Tomoda is still there and you're grateful that he hasnât walked away thinking that youâre completely out of your mind. You take another breath, just in case, before you attempt to say anything. "What makes you think that?"
"Other than the obvious?" Tomoda asks, his tone a touch dry, and you frown, remembering how Gojo had made a scene earlier.
"...yes," you finally grumble when you realize that Tomoda is actually looking for an answer. "Other than that."
For some unknown reason, he seems hesitant to say anything further, but you gesture at him, urging him to speak. "Well, he⊠I noticed that he kept looking over at you after his turn.â
"That's becauseâ" you start but then stop short when you realize that you actually have no answer. Your brain goes into overdrive trying to think of some kind of explanation, some kind of reason as to why Gojo would possiblyâŠ
"Who knows. Maybe I am."
The words are louder now. Almost deafening.
Still, you try to block them out.
"That's because he said something before we switched," you say desperately, like youâre grasping at straws. "I think he was just trying to fuck with me for the hell of it and, I don't know, maybe he kept looking to see how good of a job he did?"
Your lame explanation doesnât seem to convince Tomoda. It doesnât really convince you either. You rifle through your thoughts, trying to find some other possible reason, but everything you find seems to support Tomodaâs claim that, somehow, some way, Satoru Gojo is into you.
Tomoda looks like heâs trying to figure it out too, his expression contemplative. "...do you mind if I ask you a question?â
"...go ahead, shoot."
"You two knew each other before this, right?â
"Unfortunately," you admit begrudgingly. "But I didn't know he'd be here tonight."
Tomoda hums and nods his head slowly as he takes your words into consideration. He pauses, and then starts nodding again, quicker this time and you wonder if heâs figured something out. His expression shifts and you recognize this look; itâs the same as earlier when he was leaving your table. Thereâs something he wants to say, but heâs not sure if he should.
You have the distinct feeling that you're not going to like whatever it is, but still you push him to say it all the same. "What is it?"
Tomoda stares at you. Given the fact that this is a match-making event, you would expect some level of agitation or annoyance on his part, but the only thing you see in his bright, kind eyes is a curious glint. "Are you into that guy?â
No.
That's what you expect to say because thatâs what you always say, but when your lips part to answer Tomoda's seemingly innocuous question nothing comes out. Yet the word remains there, stuck to the tip of your tongue and you don't understand why.
Maybe itâs the earnest look in Tomodaâs eyes or the strange and irritating feeling thatâs been lurking in your chest ever since Gojo spoke to you earlier, but something, something is holding your denial at bay. More than that, itâs bidding you to actually be honest with yourself.
Because deep down you know the answer, and, worse than that, you know it isnât no.
The truth fills your mouth, the shape of it uncomfortable and heavy in your jaw. Itâs almost too much to handle, to keep in; one slip of the tongue and youâll end up spilling it everywhere. If that happensâ when that happens, you wonât be able to take it back.
When that happens, you wonât be able to deny Satoru Gojo any more.
And truthfully, the thought of it frightens you. Thatâs why youâve kept your feelings buried deep inside you. Thatâs why youâre here at this match-making event, seeking a love that doesnât scare you shitless. Thatâs why you keep denying Satoru Gojoâs presence in your heart.
Are you into him? Do you have feelings for him? Do you love him? You think the more important question here is are you truly prepared to answer these questions? Are you honestly ready to confront the feelings youâve kept deep in your heart and the reality that comes with that?
When it comes down to it⊠youâre not.
Not here and not now.
You clamp your jaw down and forcefully swallow your feelings, condemning them back to the confines of your heart. They settle there, still uncomfortable, still heavy, but youâll deal with them later, when they are not threatening to free themselves from the cage of your mouth.
Decision made, you look Tomoda in the eye and declare, âNo, Iâm not.â
He stares back at you and you can tell that he doesnât believe you. Not one bit. But if anything, you are stubborn, persistent even. You swing one arm toward him, thrusting one of your contact cards in his direction as an offering, a prayer that, even for just a little bit, heâll indulge your delusions.
Tomoda looks conflicted, like heâs biting his tongue and his gaze flickers between the card and your face. Finally, it stops on your face. His eyebrows furrow together in what is clearly concern, âListen, you donâtââ
He stops short when you throw up your other arm, presenting the rest of your contact cards to him. You mean to send a message in the gesture, though honestly, at this point itâs probably futile. Still, you have to try.
Tomodaâs eyes ease down to the three cards fanned out before him, but he makes no move to take any of them. Instead, he sighs, clearly sympathetic when he looks at you directly. You see yourself reflected in his eyes and you look more desperate than determined.
Once again, he opens his mouth to speak, but this time you beat him to the punch, and you plead, âPlease.â
Tomoda doesnât move.
âPlease,â you insist.
He continues to hold your gaze before, eventually, his shoulders slump, a clear sign that heâs given into you. You smile wryly; this man is truly too kind for his own good. Hopefully, he lives a long, happy life, free from the curses that plague your day-to-day life.
â...itâs not going to work out.â
Gojoâs voice echoes in your head once more, almost mocking you, and your hands waver just a tiny bit. You didnât need him to tell you because deep down you already knew. Itâs still annoying, but you manage to keep the disdain off your face for Tomodaâs sake.
Besides, it doesnât mean that you canât be friends. You think that, at least, that much should be fine.
Having finally given into your demands, Tomoda starts to reach for your cards. Just as heâs about to grasp them, another hand, pale with long, slender fingers shoots out and swipes all three cards from your grasp. Your head whips up to look at the interloper and, of course, who else do you find but Satoru Gojo, his trademark grin plastered to his face.
âIâll be taking these,â he announces casually, slipping your cards into his shirt pocket.
You gape wordlessly at him and he continues to smile at you like some sort of angelic devil. Then, as swiftly as he appeared, he turns on his heel and walks off into the crowd.
Slowly, you turn to look back at Tomoda, who turns to look at you. He seems as stunned as you feel, but you think he recovers first. The man gives you a gentle smile and you think that he truly deserves the worldâ a world you canât and could never give him.
âYou want to go after him, donât you?â he asks. You canât even begin to comprehend why, but he sounds almost amused. Is whateverâs going on between you and Gojo entertaining or something?
Scowling, you answer, âIf only to beat his stupid handsome face in.â
This time youâre the one whoâs made Tomoda laugh and it alleviates your annoyance just a bit. âGo on, then, Iâll be cheering for you.â
âItâs not like that,â you say automatically.
âIf you say so.â
You sigh, ready to follow after that damn idiot, but before you do, you bow in Tomodaâs direction and tell him, earnestly, âIâm really sorry.â
He chuckles again and gestures for you to go. âGet going then, you donât want to lose him.â
You feel like thereâs some kind of double meaning in his words, but heâs right; if you linger too long you might not be able to catch up to Gojo. For good measure, you bow once more before taking your leave.
Itâs lucky that Gojo is so damn tallâ you spot him almost immediately, at the entrance to the ballroom. You trail after him, expertly weaving through everyone else in the room, but by the time you reach the ballroom doors heâs already gone.
Damn that man and his long legs.
âExcuse me.â
You turn to face whoever is speaking to you, actually hoping that itâs not a potential suitor. Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, itâs one of the event staff.
âYes?â you answer carefully, praying that theyâre not about to reprimand you for the outburst you had earlier.
âIf youâre looking for that handsome gentleman, he headed that way,â the staff member informs you, pointing down the hallway. At the other end you see a large sign indicating the hotelâs garden is in that direction. Itâs a weird place for Gojo to go, but then again heâs just like that sometimes. Grateful, you bow to thank the event staffer before heading in the direction they indicated.
When you walk out into the garden, it feels almost as if youâve been transported to another world entirely. The night air is cool on your face, and the loud chatter of the ballroom is completely gone, replaced with the gentle sound of running water. Maybe thereâs some sort of fountain nearby. Looking around, you step further into the garden. Youâre surrounded by a canopy of trees, their branches adorn with fairy lights that illuminate the area in a soft, warm glow. You remember reading that this hotel is a popular wedding venue and you wonder if this garden is where they hold the ceremonies. It would make sense, but it appears that no one is getting married here tonight.
Thereâs no sign of Gojo though.
The garden is pretty big, so you keep searching. As you walk, the sound of water grows louder and soon enough you find yourself at what has to be the center of the garden. Your entire body stills, your jaw nearly dropping as you take in the sight before you. The fountain you had speculated about turns out to be much, much larger than you thought. Itâs really more like a stone pool than a fountain. Itâs surrounded by decorative stone structures, which seem to be fountains themselves, feeding water into the pool. Finally, you take a step closer, and you notice the fountain is illuminated, giving the water a soft, ethereal glow. Running through the center of the pool, bisecting it, is a disjointed stone pathway, the steps spaced enough to reveal the water beneath, but close enough to prevent a bridal train or anyone paying attention to where theyâre stepping from taking an unwanted dip.
At the end of the pathway is a small landing, a small, square island in the middle of the pool. The edges are decorated in flowers and decorative stone lanterns. Itâs picturesque and you think that this must be where people exchange their vows and promises of everlasting love.
Itâs here where you find Satoru Gojo.
His back is to you, and you could, if you wanted, turn back around and leave him here.
But you donât.
You make your way toward him, carefully stepping onto the stone pathway as if you might slip or sink into the water beneath. When youâre sure of your footing you take a step forward, then another, and another. Just as youâre about to make it to the landing, Gojo turns around to face you. He smiles, and your entire body goes still at the sight. The look on his face is far softer, far sweeter than youâre used to. If you were crazy, youâd go so far as to say that it looks almost loving.
He takes a step toward you, and then another and another. With each step he takes, your heartbeat grows louder and more erratic, the sound of it filling your ears. Your eyes are fixed on Gojo as he approaches and you wonder if his infinity is up because it almost feels like the closer he gets the slower he goes.
But eventually, he does reach you.
Gojo looks down at you and you can see that amused sparkle in his eyes as he says, âLook who decided to join me tonight.â
The sound of his voice frees you from your daze and you glare at him. âCut the crap, Gojo.â
His lips curve, forming an expression youâre more familiar with, one youâre used to wrangling. âWhat do you mean?â
âDonât play dumb; itâs not cute,â you hiss, earning you the smallest pout from him. You ignore it. âWhyâd you take my cards earlier?â
âIââ he begins, enunciating dramatically, âwas saving you from a world of heartbreak.â
âWere you?â you ask, your voice less of a challenge than it was before. You can tell Gojo notices from the shift in his expression.
He doesnât say anything about it though, and he continues, his voice dropping to something more somber, more serious. âIt wouldnât work out.â
You look into his eyes, staring at the endless sparkling blue sky within them and consider arguing with him, disagreeing with him because itâs like second nature to you.
But you decide not to.
Instead, you look away as you admit, âI know.â
Gojo doesnât laugh or gloat and it makes you wonder if your confession surprises him. You donât check though, and continue speaking, your voice low, âTomoda's a nice guy. He deserves a happy, normal love and that's⊠not something I can promise him."
For as long as you are a jujutsu sorcerer, your life will always be in danger. Every mission carries not only the risk of death, but the chance that you won't even make it home in a body bag. The stress of that, the fear of it, isn't something you can carelessly give to someone else, especially not someone youâd want to spend the rest of your life with. Youâd like to think itâd be different with another jujutsu sorcerer, someone who knows the reality of the world youâre part of, but even then you have your doubts.
"So," Gojo's voice is strangely quiet and you notice there's something, some emotion you don't recognize saturating his tone, "you into that guy?"
You sigh as you answer, honestly this time, "No. I'm not."
Gojo doesn't say anything in responseâ no wiseass quip, no pompous remark, nothing. You don't mind, but it's very odd for him to be silent.
Naturally, it doesn't last for long.
"You know," he drawls, his tone suddenly playful. "Even though I was obviously the hottest person in the room, you looked pretty good yourself."
It feels like all the air has been knocked out of you. The compliment, on its own, is strange because you can't even remember the last time Gojo complimented you, if he ever has, but more than that, where in the world did that come from? You know Gojo has a penchant for unpredictable behavior, but this is something else.
In your shock, you turn to face him, and you realize that the compliment was just the tip of the iceberg. He's leaning down, his gaze fixed on you, the blue glow of his eyes wiping the knowledge of how to breathe from your mind. His palm ghosts over your cheek, and though he's not touching you, you can still feel the warmth emanating off it. You are hyper aware of him coming closer, his face, his lips approaching yours.
No, no, no.
It has to be some illusion, some trick of the mind, because there's no way that Satoru Gojo actually wants toâ
Bewildered, you take a step back and your foot manages to wedge itself in one of the gaps of the stone pathway. You wobble, thrown entirely off balance. Seconds later, you're falling sideways straight into the water.
Gojo stares down at you, actually looking shocked for once and you wish you had your phone out to take a picture. It doesn't take long for him to get over it and he starts to laugh uncontrollably.
You glare at him like a drenched cat and raise your hand to splash at him. Weirdly enough, he lets the water hit him, his infinity remaining inactive.
"Don't laugh!" you snap at him.
Of course, he keeps laughing.
You try to lift yourself out of the water, but the river stones beneath you are too slippery for you to get a good grip. If you reposition yourself you think you could do it, but if you do your clothes will be completely drenched and that's the last thing you want right now.
With an exasperated sigh, you ask, "Gojo, will you please help me?"
He snickers, "Wow. Didn't think you'd actually ask."
You glare at him.
"Okay, okay," he steps toward you and outstretches one of his hands for you to take. For once, you don't hesitate to take it and Gojo pulls you from the water with ease, but you think that maybe he uses a little too much force as you collide with the expanse of his chest.
This is too close! You try to take another step back, but Gojo is faster, wrapping his arms around you to keep you from moving.
"Careful," he warns and you think he's teasing you. Is it just you, or is his voice just a touch deeper than normal? Regardless, the sound manages to scramble your thoughts a little. "Or you'll end up taking another dip."
"...right," you mumble, trying to straighten your thoughts. "Thanks."
You think Gojo will let you go.
But he doesn't, and the two of you remain there, pressed close. You're sure the wetness of your clothes is spreading to his, slowly messing up that expensive suit of his. Gojo doesn't seem to care though, but maybe that's because it's just water.
"...you could do it, if you wanted," Gojo's voice is barely audible.
"Huh?"
When he speaks again, it's louder this time, "Give someone a normal, happy love. It's not like you're completely broken or anything like that."
You blink, confused. What is he talking about? Then it clicks and you explain, "That's not it."
Now it seems like Gojoâs confused for once. "Huh?"
"I meant⊠heâs a non-sorcerer, soâŠ" you trail off, not wanting to explain. Gojo should be able to catch your drift.
He does. âRight, right. Itâd suck for your non-sorcerer boyfriend if you were to just suddenly die a terrible and horrific death, huh.â
A little too well. âI think itâd suck for my sorcerer boyfriend too, if I had one.â
âThatâs probably true, but if your boyfriend was a sorcerer, then maybe youâd die cruel and unusual deaths together. Thatâs romantic, isnât it?â
âActually, I think itâs kind of morbid.â
You think you feel Gojoâs arms shift, as if his grip is tightening ever so slightly around you. But then he starts to laugh and you figure it must have just been your imagination. You donât really get why heâs laughing, though.
"What's so funny?" You ask when his laughter finally dies down.
"Nothing!"
You sigh. Should have known better than to think heâd give you a straight answer.
Gojo finally steps away from you, taking the warmth of his body with him and you dismally realize that you rather enjoyed him being so close. Desperately, you try to tell yourself that itâs because with him gone youâre remembering how cold and wet your clothes are right now and not for any other reason.
It's going to suck going all the way home like this.
You hear the sound of rustling cloth and as you look up you catch Gojo draping his giant blazer over your shoulders. It's warm and before you realize what you're doing you're tugging it closer around you, the scent of Gojo's cologne filling your nostrils. Itâs nice you think, definitely expensive, but nice.
He stares at you, the expression on his face the strangest one yet.
"What?" you ask.
Gojo merely shakes his head again and it's obvious he plans to keep this to himself too. "Come on, let's go. Can't have you catching a cold now, hm?"
He grabs you by the wrist and starts to pull you toward the garden exit. And, maybe you're imagining it, but you think you might see the palest shade pink dusting the tips of his ears.

A co-workers, enemies to friends piece for you guys!!
Warnings: mentions of cheating, rude/snippy remarks, alcohol use
WC: like 3-4k?
If there was anyone that frustrated the living daylights out of you in the office, it was Harry. You swore that God had designed him with the sole purpose of irritating you. You didnât hate him, you didnât know him that well. But you didnât get on well with him; you were just opposites and often times had opposing views or solutions for things. He wasnât lazy but he distracted everyone all the time because he finished his work quite fast. Like nowâŠÂ
You bit your lip, trying to hold back from saying something as he and your cubicle neighbor, Adam, laughed loudly about something. It was hard to concentrate on your editing with this racket! Music distracted you instead of help you concentrate, so you didnât want to put on headphones, you really needed the quiet. After another minute of their commotion you shot up from your seat and went over to the little stool you had against your shared wall with Adam and stepped on so you could peer over the division.
âCan you two shut it, please? I have a last minute thing to do and the deadlineâs in an hour!â You implored with a frown on your face and they both glanced over to you, smiling fading.
âYeah. Sorry, Y/N.â, âSorry.â They both mumbled before you clambered down and went back to your seat.Â
Harry wasnât a dick, if things got to a point like this, where you had to say something to him, he always apologized. You had no idea why you suddenly developed this dislike towards him, but you just did and you could tell it bothered him. You sighed when you heard two gentle knocks on the frosted glass sliding door of your divider.
âWhat?â You asked monotonously and when there was no response you rolled your chair over and opened it up, startling Harry who was scribbling on a sticky note now. âWhat is it, Harry?â
âNothing, just wanted to apologize again for the noise.â He offered another apology and you just nodded once. âUmmmâŠso what piece are you editing?â He asked, taking a step closer to you and you sighed.
âHarry, all the time I waste chatting with you about work is time I could spend actually doing my work.â You pointed out and he nodded.
âRight.â He hummed with a tight lipped smile before he took off without another word. You bit your lip nervously, feeling a bit bad over the way youâd dealt with this situation. Youâd been rude for no reason and seeing him leaving all defeated like that made you feel like shit.
âThat was harsh.â Adam said, peering over the division and you glanced over at him and nodded.
âI know. Iâll make it right later.â You assured him and he smiled and nodded. You got on well with Adam, you wouldnât say you were close but you were friends, he was the one that bought you the stool to be able to look over the 6 foot division between the two of you. You could have lunch or get drinks after work sometimes and carry conversations, and more importantly, you could hold each other accountable. Whether that was in your personal conversations or with things at work.
âGood.â He said and then went to sit down again.Â
With the peace and quiet you were able to finish editing before the hour deadline came and the most stressful part of your day was over. You hated when the did last minute changes or additions to the magazine but it was part of the job. You couldnât imagine how much more stressful itâd be to work for the newspaper or even for the TV where changes could be made in real time! So you let go of that frustrating part of your morning and then went to lunch. You stopped by the coffee shop around the corner and got Harry an iced, Vanilla Cinnamon latte. It was the office favorite and the perfect peace offering. So you made your way over to Harryâs cubicle with the little note you had scribbled preemptively (you were hoping he was still on lunch because confrontation was hard) but you saw him sitting there just scrolling through his phone. You bit your lip and stuffed the note in your pocket before knocking on the frame of the sliding door.
âHarry?â You said as you knocked and he turned around. When he saw it was you, he straightened up.
âHey, Y/N.â He greeted you with a half-smile.
âHey.â You said nervously, âUmmm, s-sorry for being rude to you earlier. I was annoyed and I took it out on you and Adam.â You explained, âWell, mostly on you.â You added.
âThatâs alright, last minute additions are a pain.â He said and you nodded, relieved at his understanding.
âYeahâŠso I ummm, got you this.â You said extending the drink to him, âItâs the vanilla cinnamon one that everyone seems to love.â You shared and he smiled at you.
âWow, thank you so much. You didnât have to.â He thanked you and you shook your head.
âItâs nothing really.â You assured him, âJust a peace offering.â You said and he nodded.
âWell thanks again.â
âYeah, youâre welcome. Sorry again for earlier.â You said before hurrying off to your desk.
It was maybe 20 minutes later when you went to the kitchenette to grab some more water when you saw two of the girls from campaigning sitting at the table in there. The one called Destiny looked giddier than ever as she sipped on a latte, a latte that when she set it down had Harryâs name written in black sharpie. He had regifted your peace offering?! You were livid and felt betrayed! Maybe you had pushed him too far this time and he disliked you now too! You couldnât help it when you mouth opened to ask her about it.
âH-hey Destiny, did someone do a coffee run?â You asked her and she shook her head and smiled cheerfully.
âNo, Harry got it for me over lunch. Said he knew I liked these. Heâs so sweet!â She said and you were holding off an eye-twitch.
âWow, so sweet.â You said and then rushed back out without your water. You started to storm over to his area but then stopped yourself. You didnât like him and he clearly didnât like you, which was fine. This was fine and yes, your feelings were hurt, but youâd done the same to him and well, a coffee was nothing compared to hurt feelings so you just trudged back to your desk and sat with a huff.
âWhatâs wrong?â You heard Adam ask from his cubicle.
âNothing, just forgot to grab water before coming back.â You said and he hummed.
âIâll be backâŠâ you mumbled before heading back to the kitchen. You were filling up your water bottle when Harry walked in, humming a familiar little tune.
âOh, hey Y/N!â He greeted you with pep and you turned to him.
âHarry. Did you enjoy your coffee?â
âI did, thank you! Itâs not a favorite for nothing!â He said with a smile and you hummed.
âWell good. Itâs a lot of peopleâs favorite here.â You said and he nodded with a smile, but he sensed the awkwardness emanating from you.
âYeah, it is.â He smiled again as you held eye contact with him for a few seconds and you just walked out without another word.Â
âŠ. A FEW DAYS LATER âŠ.
It had been a few days and you were still upset that Harry had regifted the coffee youâd bought him. And more than that, it irked you that now he thought you were friends. Heâd say hello everyone morning and youâd just respond half-heartedly. He knew better than to strike up conversation while you were in the zone, so to him this was just you acting like you always did. And to you, well he was just lying and being fake, which made you like him even less. All of this was affecting you far more than you cared to admit. It really struck you with awe just how easily he had the others fooled! It was around lunch time when you contacted your best friend, Nina, to see if she wanted to meet up for drinks she agreed and now you had something to look forward to for the rest of the work day.
It was 7 on the dot when you walked in to the bar youâd agreed upon. It was a little bit up-scale, so youâd gone home and changed and done up your makeup a little bit more. Thankfully, the bar top had two open spots so you hurried over and set your purse down on the empty stool to reserve it for Nina. It wasnât odd that Nina was late, after she had her daughter she was constantly running 15-30 minutes behind everyone. It was annoying but you knew that being a mom was also annoying sometimes, it was a full-time thing, 365/24/7. No days off. Around the 32 minute mark you got a text from her stating that the baby had a fever and she couldnât leave her with her boyfriend, who was also sick. You sighed and then raised your hand to get the bartender.
âReady?â He asked as he walked over.
âYeah, just the espresso martini.â You said.
âGot it. Open or closed tab?â
âJust leave it open.â You said and he nodded before taking your card and setting that up.Â
You texted Nina back and then just looked around the bar, it was more full now and there were people waiting to sit, so you decided now was a good time to remove your things from the neighboring high chair. And as you gave one more look around the room your eyes landed on none other than Harry Styles. He looked relieved to see you and started making his way over to you. You sighed and turned to face the bar again, but moments later you heard his voice.
âY/N!â He greeted you.
âHarry.â You mumbled, staring straight ahead.
âCan IâŠtouch you?â He asked and you whipped around quickly, thanking the interior designers that these chairs spun.
âWhat?!â
âCan I touch you, not in a creepy way! Just, like a hand on your waist or hip?â He asked.
âYou may not.â You scoffed.
âOh my god, please! I ran into my ex outside and she already has another boyfriend! I told her I was seeing someone too because IâŠfelt sad and jealous that she moved on and when he gets here and she gets inside I donât want to look like a fool.â He explained and you pouted a bit. You knew about about exes that made you feel bad about yourself.
âFine.â You sighed, âThis seat is not gonna be taken anymore so just hop on.â You mumbled and he thanked you as he sat.
âSo did you get stood up?â He asked carefully.
âYeah.â
âIâm sorry.â
âItâs fine, it was by my friend, not a date. Her baby is running a fever.â
âOh, thatâs too bad.âÂ
âYep.â You hummed and then moments later your drink came and Harry ordered the same. Which then reminded you of why you were so annoyed at him.Â
âHey, I also wanted to ask, maybe this is not the time and place to have this conversation, but do youâŠhave a problem with me?â He asked and you turned to him.
âNot really, I justâŠdonât mesh with you.â You said simply and he frowned. Everyone meshed with Harry. He was an air sign, he was freewheeling and fun and kind and creative!
âWell, why not?âÂ
âI donât know, I just donât like your manner of doing things. Not that thereâs anything wrong with it, I mean youâre getting things done and everyone likes the outcome of your work, itâs just the way you go about it. It doesnât work for me. Itâs not personal, Harry.â
âYou make it personal though.â He said and you frowned.
âI donât.â
âYou do.â He insisted, âIâve left it alone because youâre just how you are and everyone tells me that itâs not me, that youâre justâŠa certain way, but I donât know you that well soâŠâ he trailed off and you frowned.
âYou talk about me to other people?âÂ
âSometimesâŠjust to ask if theyâve heard you say anything about me, you know? Not to talk badly of you. But sometimes people come to me about it. I mean, itâs not like they donât see the difference of how you treat them versus me.â He said and your brows furrowed. You thought your dislike towards him was discrete but everyone knew apparently.
âAnd everyone thinks IâmâŠa bitch?â You asked and he bit his lip nervously.
âIâve never said that to anyone by the way, but people haveâŠused that term from time to time.â He explained and you frowned, âI know we donât know each other all that well but to me it just seems youâre justâŠa grump. Not aâŠwell, you know.â He shrugged.
âHey Harry!â You both heard and spun around to see who you presumed was his ex standing there with a tall man on her arm. She was breathtaking. You werenât insecure about your looks all that often, but right now you were. You swear youâd seen this woman in some ad on the internet before.
âHi Eden, nice to see you again.â He smiled.
âYeah, we ran into each other outside.â She explained, âThis is Gerard, my boyfriend.â She introduced him, âHe models too.â She said and you and Harry both nodded.
âIâd imagine so!â Harry smiled easily. You were impressed at his composure after he admitted to you that he felt sad and jealous about this minutes before. Your irritation and insecurity wouldâve flared far too easily and you wouldâve made a fool of yourself. âNice to meet you, Gerard.â He said extending his hand and shook it. âThis is Y/N, my date tonight.â He said and then you felt Edenâs scrutinizing gaze down your face and body.
âMmmm, kinda cute, I guess.â She said with a hint of snark and your eyes narrowed at her.
âLike those shoes!â You said with a sardonic smile and her mouth dropped open a bit, âWe were kind of in the middle of an important conversation, so if youâre done trying to flaunt Gerard to your ex maybe itâs time you go find a seat.â You said and she just groaned and pulled Gerard along. Moments later Harry started laughing and you held back your smile as you turned back towards the bar.
âOh, that was funny.â He chuckled, âThanks for that.â He said to you with a smile and you maintained your serious facade.
âSânothing, she was too condescending. And that poor man, being dragged into her games.â
âEither way, thank you. Standing up to her is not an easy feat.â
âIs that why you broke up?â
âYeahâŠshe was mean spirited and she cheated on me so-â
âOh, thatâs awful, Harry! Iâm sorry.â
âWell at least sheâs with him now and it wasnât some rando.â He said and you shook your head.
âI guess but only an awful person betrays someone like that and itâs not worth you feeling sad or jealous over.â You stated firmly and glanced back at him and he was smiling a bit, âOr wellâŠthatâs my opinion about it.â You shrugged, sounding a bit less secure now that he was staring into your eyes.
âWell, thanks for that. I think I minimize it toâŠnot feel so badly about it.â He explained and you hummed and reached for your drink again.
Everything youâd thought of Harry up until this point was the opposite of what he seemed to be. His constant need for socializing had you thinking he had no self awareness, but his priori statement made you realize that he did have it. Maybe youâd just judged him far too harshly for absolutely nothing. And well, no one likes to admit that theyâre wrongâŠbut you were wrong about him. But sadly, he wasnât wrong about you and it made your smile fall.
âWhatâs wrong?â He asked you and you shook your head.
âItâs nothing.â You assured.
âHey, tell me. The least I could do is listen after you retrieved my balls from the dragon guarding them.â He chuckled and you smirked, âSorry for being crass but I meanâŠthatâs what it was.â He said.
âI concluded that I have been wrong about you this whole time but you havenât been wrong about me and thatâsâŠitâs sad.â You said.
âItâs not like youâre a bad person. Youâre justâŠirritable.â He said with a smile and you sighed.
âI try not to beâŠand like itâs not like in a condescending way. I donât think Iâm better than anyone else. I justâŠIâve always had a hard time relating to other people. Like Iâm not into the same things as everyone so I canât join in on conversations a lot and it does upset me. But now everyone things Iâm this kill joy and a raging bitch!â You said through a laugh of disbelief.
âI meanâŠwhat you did for me the other day? With the coffee?â He asked and then your smile fell again.
âYou mean the coffee you regifted to Destiny?â You asked and he sighed. âI saw her with it in the kitchen. She said you bought it for her.â You said with an accusatory tone, âThatâŠhurt my feelings.â You confessed. It felt like you were choking on sand, admitting that to him but it had been something you couldnât move past.
âOkay, thereâs an explanation.â Harry said, âIâm lactose intolerant and when I tried it I realized it wasnât lactose free and I would get sick if I drank it. I didnât want to throw it away and risk you seeing it in a garbage can. So IâŠgave it to the person who sat further away from you and told her a little white lie about it.â He explained and you couldnât be upset at that.
âIâm sorry, I didnât know.â
âItâs alright. I appreciated the gesture though! A lot! I thought maybe that meant we could start to be a little more chummy, you know?â
âI thought so too until I saw you regifted it.â You said and he smiled.
âYeahâŠI shouldâve said something then or asked. But I just assumed you knew. Usually when we group order Iâm the only other person who gets a cold brew black-â
âOh! Iâm the other person who orders that!â You said excitedly and he grinned.
âYeah? I mean, good coffee doesnât need anything in my opinion. It has a whole flavor profile on its own!â
âAgreed!â You concurred and he smiled.
âSee, thereâs one thing in common.â He added and you hummed and smiled.
The rest of the evening with Harry was pleasant. After all of the unpleasantness youâd put him though you picked up his tab too and assured him that next time he could get you and well, he was pleased that thereâd be a next time.
Harry was glad you two had a breakthrough. He was walking back to his car and was feeling for his keys in his pockets when he realized they werenât there. He circled back to the bar and no one had turned anything in and they werenât where you two sat or in the bathroom. So he hurried out to his car and upon peering in with his phone light on he saw them sitting in the cup holder. He groaned as he recalled that heâd seen Eden walking down the sidewalk when he was about to get out of the car.
âShitâŠâ he mumbled and then dialed your number.
âHey Harry!â You answered right away as you had just gotten to the intersection.
âHey, I hate to do this but I locked my keys in my car and my insurance thing is in there too and if I call a random tow theyâll charge me an arm and a legâŠâ
âYeah, no worries ummm, I can circle back Iâm just down the street.â You assured, âDid you need to stay over as well?â You asked.
âOnly if youâre fine with that! If not I could see whoâs up and can let me crash!â
âNo thatâs alright, my couch is very comfy.â You assured him.
âOkay, thank you so much! I parked around the corner on 4th.â
âOkay, Iâll be there in a few.â You assured and hung up.
Minutes later he was getting into your car, thanking you profusely for helping him out. He was searching through his emails for his insurance agentâs contact to give him a call in the morning, and thankfully he found it. He explained it wasnât any of the bigger insurance companies since those were too pricey. So he ran everything by this guy to ensure that things would get covered by his policy if and when he ran into any issues. You fully understood this and chatted about it a bit more until you were at your apartment.
Once you got in you assured him he could borrow some stuff from your ex boyfriend thatâd been left behind and got him a spare toothbrush too and he went off to get showered and changed while you made up the couch for him. You waited for him to get out and then headed back out with two pillows.
âHey, ummm soft or firm?â You asked him.
âWhichever one you donât use.â He smiled.
âOh no, I have like 6 pillows, you choose the one you prefer.â You assured.
âFirm, please.â
âAlright, here you are.â You said walking it over to him.
âY/N, seriously, thank you for tonight. For all of it.â He said softly.
âYeah, youâre welcome. Itâs the least I can do after being a huge bitch to you for nothing.â
âItâs not because youâre trying to make things up to me. Itâs because youâre a nice person.â He said and you smiled a bit and glanced away, âHey, you are.â
âAfter everything Iâve done to you and how Iâve treated you, you believe that?â
âI do. I also believe in second chances.â
âHopefully not with cheating exesâŠâ you added with a timid smirk and he grinned.
âYeah, definitely not.â He said, gaze still locked on yours. You felt this tension rising between you, it was all of the good things mixed with all the past irritations and it was making your brain cloudy. âY/N?â
âHmmm?â
âHow mad would you be if I tried to kiss you right now?â He asked and you couldnât tell if he was kidding around or being sincere.
âUmmmâŠI donâtâŠknow.â You got out nervously, âLetâs just get to bed.â You said and he nodded, âGoodnight, Harry.â
âGood night.â He responded and you hurried off to your bedroom. You also washed off your body and got ready for bed and as you finally settled in your phone pinged with a text message.
Harry Styles:
How do I turn off the light?
You smiled and got out of bed and went over to find him already cuddled up on the couch and he glanced over at you.
âSorry couldnât find the switch.â
âItâs on this remote.â You said reaching for it on the coffee table.
âOh, fancy.â
âRight!â You grinned and handed it over. âYou can change the settings too if you donât want it pitch black.â You said and he nodded.
âThanks.â
âOf course.â You said and started walking off before stopped at the entrance of the hallway. You went back and leaned over him before kissing his cheek gently. His eyes fluttered shut and he smiled for a second before you pulled back. âSorry.â You whispered.
âThatâs alright.â He assured you and you but you r lip nervously before hurrying back down the hall. You closed the door and leaned back on it with a pounding heart and a smile on your face. You were so happy you have given him a chance tonight.

Leona is happy to get out of the car and into the relaxing hot spring; praying to the stars above that Lilia and Kalim would not make that an experience too. He had turned the radio off immediately and considered punching it for a second after his two guests and classmates had decided to sing along to the music and clap to the rhythm of the song.Â
âIf youâre not quiet on the way back, Iâm leavinâ ya here and you can walk back to the hotelâ, he shot the two of them an angry glare, âannoy someone else with your singing.â You poked his side and linked your arms. âIf you keep looking all grumpy like this, youâre gonna get wrinkles all over your foreheadâ, you teased him and he gave you a smirk back. âAnd youâd still love meâ, he wrapped an arm around your shoulder and led you to the secluded area only the royal family had access to. âOkay, the changing rooms for guests are over there, please donât break anything or slip on the floor and die, we need you for the tournament tomorrowâ, he sent the others off, âsee ya in a couple of minutes.â The last sentence was directed specifically at you and he pressed a kiss to your forehead before parting from you.Â
When everyone else came out of the changing rooms, Leona was already relaxing in the hot spring. His eyes were closed and he had his hair tied up into a bun. Once you were submerged in the warm water, you marveled at your boyfriend for a while. He looked so peaceful like this. You could see ripples on the surface of the water where his tail was moving.
You smirked and decided to flick your finger on the surface of the water, sending a couple of droplets flying straight into Leonaâs face. His eyes opened instantly as he reached for his magical pen at the side of the hot spring. Oh god. The last thing you saw was Leonaâs mischievous grin before he sent a whole wave of water at you. âWhich one of us is looking like a wet cat now, huh?â, he laughed but you werenât giving up yet. You took both of your hands, pushing the water into his face. Leona grabbed your waist, pulling you onto his lap before he flicked his wet tail into your face gently. You shoved his tail aside.
âArgh- stop it, herbivoreâ, Leona growled at the sensation of you blowing cold air into his ear.Â
With both of you deciding that this was fun while it lasted but also that your time was better spent using the hot spring for its intended purpose, Leona pulled you very close to his chest and held you tightly against him, nuzzling your cheek affectionately. Both of you closed your eyes and Leona wrapped his tail around you. You took a deep breath, melting into Leonaâs embrace as he gently ran his fingers up and down the skin of your back.Â
âNever thought Iâd see you so affectionate and gentle with anyoneâ, Vil commented with a teasing smirk and Leona opened one eye to glare at him. âI can drown you in the pool and the guards will make it look like an accidentâ, Leona replied dryly but it was evident he wasnât serious.
Leona indulged you as you pulled him into a loving kiss; his lips still tasting like the baobab candy he had eaten before.Â
He eventually fell asleep resting his chin on your shoulder or your head, mumbling a quiet âlove ya, herbivoreâ in his sleep.
Kalim is the polar opposite of Leona when it comes to spending time in the hot springs.
He brought a floatie and pool noodles and a small radio that cost more than what you had in your bank account. âIf ya play happy music here, Iâm kickin' ya outâ, Leona warned and Kalim put away the radio with a sad expression.
Kalim was so used to Jamil taking care of everything for him that he had a lot of trouble filling the floatie and the beach ball he had with air. âHere, let me help you with thatâ, you sighed and grabbed the pump, showing him how to do it. âThank you so much, youâre the best!â, Kalim hugged you and looked at you with a bright smile before climbing back into the hot spring.
The two of you eventually ended up in a pool noodle fight together, hitting each other on the head with the foam sticks, much to everyone elseâs annoyance. Kalim was laughing and eventually decided to surrender. âYouâre so precious to me, I just have to let you win!â, he explained and pressed a kiss to your cheek, âI love you so much!â Kalim pulled you into another hug. âI love you moreâ, you insisted and gave his lips a sweet kiss. âNo, I definitely love you the most-â âWould you two shut the fuck up?â, Leona groaned and held his head.
Things got even worse when Kalim decided to bring the beach ball. You had a blast for a while as you were throwing it back and forth in between you but the fun was over when Kalim aimed wrong and hit Vil in the head, knocking the cucumber slices off his eyes and smudging the beauty mask he had put on in the process.
Vil scolded Kalim and you for 2 minutes straight.
âWeâre so sorry, Vilâ, Kalim looked sad and you hugged him from behind, pressing a soft kiss to his shoulder.
His mood seemed to lighten up as you pulled him close to cuddle; deciding that relaxing was also nice if you two could snuggle in the meantime.
Kalim sat down on your lap in the hot springs and just snuggled you for the rest of the stay. He talked about how this was very different from the bathhouse they had at home and everyone stared at him in bewilderment as he described the place; unaware of how he once again shocked everyone with the Asim family's amount of wealth.
"If peasantry is an emotion, I'm feeling it right now", Grim sat outside of the hot springs, "and to spend that amount of madol on a bathhouse of all things. Just imagine how many cans of tuna I could buy from this."
"I'm pretty sure for most people the intergenerational supply of tuna would be the weirder purchase...", you mused and gently massaged the back of Kalim's head with your fingertips.
"Wow, you guys were right, I'm feeling totally refreshed right now!", Kalim commented with a smile as you exited the hot springs and he picked up his stuff. He attempted to play the radio in Leona's car on the way back. This did not work out.
For Vil, this was obviously the highlight of the entire trip. The whole reason Leona had even been able to bribe him to join the 'Catch the Tail' team. He was even more delighted to spend this day with you.
Your presence made him look past even the most bothersome inconveniences, namely Kalim and Lilia improvising a punk rock version of "Absolutely Beautiful" in the car. "Let's just hope they'll be more quiet in the hot springs", the Pomefiore dorm leader sighed and you passed the water bottle you had in your backpack to him, which made Vil smile, "how is it you always seem to know exactly what I need? It even is my favorite brand of water."
"You have a favorite brand of water?", Leona raised an eyebrow and then shook his head, "...talk about unnecessary things to think about..."
Vil ignored the grumpy lion beastman.
He was by far the one who took the longest in the changing rooms. He brought a bunch of products he had bought before at Elephant Legacy and was looking forward to trying them out.
He would let you use them as well if you wanted to.
He put on a beauty mask. Vil let you massage his shoulders with some new massage oil he bought and took care of the tension in your muscles as well. "Are you enjoying yourself, my love?", he asked and you could hear the affection in his voice as his fingers massaged the skin between your shoulder blades. "Hmm", you hummed and he gave you a sweet kiss to your cheek, leaving a slight lipstick mark on your face. He'd make sure to notify you of that before leaving the hot spring.
Vil would eventually end up resting against your chest. You had your arms wrapped around him from behind and he leaned the back of his head on your shoulder. Relaxing with you was worth compromising his posture for an hour.
Lilia is thrilled and also quite curious about going to Elephant Legacy and spending time at the hot springs just to relax.
He comes out of the changing rooms wearing the vacation shirt Malleus got him from Scalding Sands, a beach hat and a pair of star-shaped sunglasses. Vil has to really bite his tongue to not comment on how Lilia's choice of outfit has hurt him in his soul. His swimming trunks are in a shade of pink that does not work at all with the orange shirt and there's a bat pattern on it.
You don't know how he did it but he enters the secluded hot spring that only members of the royal family have access to with a tray of mocktails on it. He insists that he prepared them himself and that he's "quite good at making them". Knowing his cooking skills, you're not taking any chances. The others how ever? You'll never forget the face Kalim made when he took a sip from Lilia's homemade fruity drink. "Lilia...haha...what exactly did you put in this?", Kalim asks with a forced smile. "I made them to match your personalities", Lilia claps his hands with a joyful expression, "yours, Kalim, has orange, mango, chocolate and mashed chicken nuggets in it." Kalim sighs. "Hmm, I think the chicken nuggets were a bit much..."
"The fuck's in mine?", Leona asks, not having drank even a sip from his, "it looks awfully see-through." Lilia smirked. "Water, chili powder, a lot of salt and four shots of whiskey", he explains. Leona pushes the "drink" far far away from him.
Lilia joins you in the hot springs not soon after and wraps an arm around your shoulder, letting you rest against his chest.
He starts recalling times of war when he went to the hot springs to try and rest his bones as well as clean his wounds. He gives a very detailed description of the incident and Kalim starts crying.
Lilia would give you a massage and also let you massage his shoulders. He'd spend his time with you talking about everything you've seen on your trip so far now that you have some quiet time without a new experience waiting just around the corner. It's the perfect time for him to aquire how you liked your trip so far, what were the best parts for you and tell you some stories about his travels in the past. Lilia enjoys the peaceful atmosphere the hot springs create. "It's one of the best places to talk about one's worries or simply relax", he says with a smile on his face.
Lets you wash his hair while he leans back against you with a satisfied expression. Loves the feeling of your fingers against his scalp.
"This was a truly relaxing experience", he rejoices after exiting the hot spring, holding your hand in his, "I'll remember this for a long time, my love." He gives you a kiss to the cheek.

[Iâve gotten a few asks for more cuckquean-related stuff. Naturally, I sourced this from my conversations with the wonderful @rottenmami-bae (who Iâm convinced is a better writer than me by far)]
C/W: Cuckquean, cheating, intense humiliation, gaslighting
Have I ever told you that I cum hardest to your hatred? That I love twisting your heart and tearing it into shreds? That I love lying to you everyday, telling you that I was at work late. Youâre not dumb. No, youâre actually quite smart. Youâd smell the perfume on me instantly. Youâd notice the payments to various hotels and motels from our joint bank account.
âA co-workerâs coming over for dinner,â I would say softly, watching your body freeze. You would know already. You wouldnât even need to ask to know itâs a woman. A woman with a hotter, sluttier body than you could ever dream of having. Youâre smart but Iâve ripped the spine out of you, lie by lie, until you can only convince yourself Iâm loyal. That Iâm not spending everyday and night away from you drowning my cock in the warm holes of some whore. Some girl that I shower with more affection than Iâll ever show you. Iâd smile. âNo, donât wear a dress. Youâd look ugly in one.â
Dinner would pass by with flirtatious giggles and smirks being thrown around blatantly across the table. Youâd sit there, ignored, with your head looking down at your food. Possibly to hide your teary eyes. She and I would be all the better for it. Youâd ruin the mood. Weâd snap our fingers at you, having you bring us water and spices, and whatever else we wanted to torment you with.Â
And finally weâd retire to my office. Iâd sweetly tell you to put on some music and read a book or something. And youâd do it. Not to obey me, but to mask the loud, passionate moaning that comes from behind the door. Youâd hear us, even through the doors. Youâd hear me groan louder with her than Iâd ever with you. And still, youâd do nothing, pathetic fucking cuck that you are. And the worst part? The pack of condoms Iâd leave out would be unopened. Unused. Just like you.
Youâd feel depression and wrath tangle with each other, breaking you, grinding down your sanity, until youâve accepted it. That you really are a spineless fucking loser. Itâd be okay to cry at that point. Iâd hope that you do. Loudly. Hearing your misery would turn us both on. Iâd fuck her against the door, roughly spreading her holes on my cock while she moans as loud as she can, knowing youâll hear it. Knowing itâll only make it hurt worse for you.Â

A Thorn in the Side
pairing : joshua hong x gn!reader
light angst , fluff , humor
warnings : language , jealous joshy
word count : 1.0 k
requested? no
a/n : can't tell if i like this one or not yet , but i really wanted to get something seventeen related put out !!
Joshua has never liked to think of himself as a jealous person.
In fact, in his own humble opinion, Joshua finds he's secure enough to not let most things bother him.
Some guy wants to buy you a drink at the bar? You're very attractive, it's bound to happen. His members compliment how you look that day? Good, they should, you look amazing. Your coworker is leaving secret love notes on your desk? That's fine, you'll still be clocking out and coming home to Joshua at the end of the day.
For all the attention you receive in a day, it's only ever Joshua who has the privilege of receiving yours. So no, he really doesn't have much need to worry over trivial things.
That being said, every so often, he gets a teeny, little, thorn in his side. The thorn in question being no other than Kim Mingyu and his abnormally large muscles. More specifically, Kim Mingyu's abnormally large muscles in regards to how uncomfortably close they are to you.
You were supposed to be bringing Joshua his gym bag he left at home. Something that would have taken less than a minute to do. Unfortunately, Joshua forgot to take into account the other twelve boys who accompanied him to the gym and had a knack for making his life a living Hell.Â
Mingyu stopped you the moment you walked in the door. Engulfing you in a bone-crushing hug and radiating a puppy-like joy he always seems to have when greeting you. But that's not even what did Joshua in. Not by a long shot.
It wasn't until you started giggling about how gross and sweaty he was that Joshua felt something indignant crawl under his skin. Your palms flat against his chest as you tried to push away while Mingyu only held you tighter. Also, why on God's green earth does he feel the need to be shirtless right now!?
And judging from the smug glances Mingyu keeps shooting his way, the boy knows exactly what he's doing. Joshua Hong is a patient man. But the urge to throttle Mingyu is incredibly tempting at the moment.
He doesn't even realize just how long he's been just standing there seething until Jeonghan pokes his head out from behind a machine. "Hey, âShua!" He whispers and it snaps Joshua back down to Earth like a brick to the head. He's twirling a singular earbud in his fingers. "I can hear you grinding your teeth over my music. How much longer are you gonna stand there sulking?"
"I'm not grinding my teeth." He grumbles, a pout set on his lips. Though his jaw is rather sore and he has to actually make an effort to unclench it.
Behind him, Seungkwan snorts. "There's actually visible clouds of steam shooting out of your ears."
Joshua whips his head around and gives the younger boy a look nothing short of homicidal. It only encourages him. "What? Worried Y/N might see something they like?"
"No." He grits out. "I just . . . really need my gym bag."
"Ohhh, okay okay." Seungkwan nods, that same smirk never leaving his face. "Well, it looks like someone might have beaten you to it." Another fit of middle-school-girl giggles erupts between Seungkwan and Jeonghan.
And sure enough, when Joshua returns his attention back to you, a second âthornâ has somehow also found its way over. Lee Chan. "Here, that looks heavy, let me help you," he says, taking the bag from your shoulder, chest puffed and smile toothy. He curls it the way one would a kettlebell, toned and sweaty arms glistening in all their nauseating glory. Seriously, who even flexes like that when picking up a bag? It's just tacky.
That's about all Joshua can stomach for much longer. He can feel the once tiny thorns morphing into jagged claws. Some awful green-eyed beast tearing at his stomach from the inside out. And while he knows he really shouldn't take the bait, he just canât help it.
He beelines it across the room, walking to where you and his victims members are at a lightning-fast speed. Joshua musters up a sickeningly sweet smile and clears his throat. Mingyu and Chan look at him like they know they're in trouble.
But then your eyes light up at the mere sight of him, and all thoughts he had of ripping Mingyu and Chan a new one fizzle out all too easily. You push past the two boys without another glance in their direction, and a smile only he's capable of evoking plays at your lips.
"Hey, you." You greet him with a peck and the exaggerated gags that fill the room make his chest fill moreso with pride than embarrassment. Your hand slips just under the hem of his shirt, letting your palm lay against his stomach. There it is. That feeling of security. Of trust. Warmth. You lean back slightly and Joshua lets his impulsivity win when he chases your lips for one last reassuring kiss.
"Thank you for bringing my bag."
You hum, threading your fingers through his damp hair, combing it back. "I don't mind. I actually think you need to forget your bag more often."
Joshua tilts his head innocently. He's thrown off guard when you lean in, palm pressing harder against his stomach, and your lips ghost the shell of his ear. Voice low enough so that his members won't hear, which he's thankful for. "You're really hot when you're all sweaty and jealous."
Joshua cringes. "Was it that obvious?"
"Seungkwan's voice carries."
He feels a little stupid now for ever getting so worked up in the first place. His head drops with embarrassment, causing you to giggle. "Hey," you poke at his forehead so he'll look at you. "You know I only have eyes for you, right?" You sound a little more serious this time.
"Yeah, I know."
"Good."
"Hey, hyung," Chan calls, still behind you. "Can you take your bag now? It's actually kind of heavy."

I SAW THIS IDEA IN ANOTHER ACC BUT I NEED TO GET IT OUT OF MY CHEST RAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Ok, BestfriendBrother!Beelzebub. He didn't know one of his sports team friend had a sister and like,,,, he think ur nice and is happy that you hang out with him and the rest when your brother is there too
and let's you borrow his big jackets, and little pieces of food his eating and suddenly u guys are fucking in his room while the rest of his friends are hanging out in the rest room or something *dies and rebirth*
Hmm well I hope that other account doesn't mind that I ran with the idea, anon!
This ended up just a little longer than I meant it to, but uh it was such a cute little scenario lol! I went with a human world college au where Beel is on the sports team (I don't specify but it's probably football... I know very little about sports lol) and his teammate/best friend is MC's brother. This was definitely a different type of situation for me, so I enjoyed writing it!
Thank you for the suggestion!
fem!MC x Beelzebub
NSFW MDNI
Warnings: human world college au, reader is female and has she/her pronouns, I don't know if this counts as semi-public... they're in his house but there are people in the room nearby and I'm not sure what to label that as lol, penetration (reader receiving)
The first time Beelzebub saw you, you were sitting in the stands at one of his games, all decked out in the team's colors, cheering loudly. He couldn't stop himself from looking over at you all the time, wondering why you were sitting there by yourself. Wondering if there was someone you were here to see.
When Beel's best friend and teammate came up beside him, Beel was still watching you in the stands. You waved enthusiastically and for a moment Beel's heart skipped a beat because it looked like you were waving at him. Half standing from your seat, bright smile on your face, hand high in the air.
Fortunately, Beel's friend waved back at you, revealing the reality of the situation.
Beel looked at him. "Is that your girlfriend?"
Beel's friend laughed. "No, that's my sister. She likes coming to the games."
Beel tried not to think too hard about the relief that washed over him at these words. He looked back at you and felt his chest squeeze at the sight of your beaming smile.
-
Beel was happy when you started coming with your brother to hang out with him and the other teammates. He liked how nice you were, how you got along with everyone, the gentleness of your smile, the sparkle in your eyes. The more time he spent with you, the harder it was for him to stop thinking about you. He found himself looking forward to plans with his friends because he knew you might be there, too.
Beel wasn't sure if you were as interested in him as he was in you. He tried to act casual around you, tried not to make it seem like he was thinking about you a lot. He wondered sometimes if you could still tell.
Maybe he really gave himself away when you were together with a group of his teammates on campus, spending some time in the shade of the trees on the grassy lawn. It was the start of autumn and there was a little chill in the air. Beel noticed you were only wearing a t-shirt as you sat beside him in the grass. He saw the way you hugged your arms and rubbed them a little for added warmth.
Beel shrugged off his jacket and put it over your shoulders.
You jumped a little in surprise when you felt his hands on your shoulders, looking up at him with wide eyes.
"You look cold," Beel said, simply.
He was rewarded with a soft smile. "Thanks, Beel."
Hearing your name on his lips made his gut flip.
You put the jacket on and held out your arms, the sleeves completely engulfing your hands and hanging off the ends of your fingers. You laughed and it was a sweet musical sound. Then you pulled your arms in and huddled into his jacket, beaming out at him from within the fabric.
Beel laughed, too. You looked so cozy even though you were practically drowning in it.
-
When Beel decided to host a barbecue at his house, he decided to invite you directly instead of waiting around, hoping you would tag along with your brother. It was easy enough to ask you at one of the games. Beel noticed the way you blushed a little before saying yes.
Now everyone was in his backyard, enjoying the food, talking and having a good time. Beel had a plate in his hands, which he carried over to sit down beside you.
"Have you tried this salsa?" Beel asked, offering you the side of his plate with a pile of tortilla chips and a generous amount of salsa. "It's really good."
"I haven't," you said, but when you didn't reach for any, Beel dipped a chip for you.
Beel handed it over to you, but instead of taking it, you ate it out of his hand. He could feel the brush of your lips on his fingertips.
Beel blushed and he saw that you were blushing, too. You covered it up by exclaiming about how delicious the salsa was.
Later on in the evening, it became too cold to stay outside, so everyone migrated into the house. Beel's friends and teammates were in the living room, scattered about on the couch and the floor.
Beel himself looked around and saw you, lingering on the edge of the room. Beel went over to you and took your hand. You looked at him in surprise, but let him lead you down the hallway.
It was simply that Beel couldn't wait any longer. He pulled you into his room, closing the door and putting his hand on it, just behind your head. He leaned in close, but didn't touch you.
"I can't stop thinking about you, MC," he said quietly, his voice low in tone and volume. "Every time I see you, my heart starts racing. I just want to ki-"
But Beel didn't get to finish saying that he wanted to kiss you because you threw your arms around him and crashed your lips into his.
Beel stumbled backward a little, his arms going around your waist to catch you and balance himself. He continued to move back until he ran into his bed, falling back onto it and pulling you on top of him. You nestled easily between his legs as he opened his mouth for you, tongues now sliding together.
It wasn't long before things escalated and you were on your back beneath him, looking up at him with the kind of need in your eyes that Beel had only ever dreamed about. You arched your back, pressing your body up into his erection, making him growl low in his throat.
"MC," he said, voice raspy. "Everyone else is out there⊠and your brotherâŠ"
"I don't care about that," you said. "Please, Beel⊠I need youâŠ"
At least Beel could say that he tried. But after you said that, he lost all restraint. Beel made short work of your clothes and his until you were pressed together skin to skin, his lips trailing down your neck and chest. Beel watched you biting your lip as he sank his cock into you, clearly trying to stay quiet, knowing that if you were too loud, the others would hear you.
You gasped lightly as Beel started to move. He tried to start slow, but he was already so desperate for you, it wasn't long before he was thrusting fast and hard, pounding into you as you held onto his shoulders, mouth open in ecstasy. You were breathing heavily, pulling in air, and occasionally moaning quietly. As you tried to suppress your sounds they ended up sounding more like little whines. Your noises, the way you clutched at him, everything about you drove him crazy.
Beel couldn't think straight, dizzy with the feeling of your wetness around his cock, the way you kept squeezing on it, the way your fingernails dug into his skin, the way you kept biting your lip trying to keep yourself quiet. Beel was overcome by the feelings that rushed through him, not just how good his cock felt inside you, but also the way your face had transformed into a look he'd never seen before. Like he was the only thing you knew in that moment. Like he had become your entire world.
Beel felt it when you started to get close to your orgasm, as your body squirmed and your muscles tightened. And then you arched everything, your back, your neck, and whined with a suppressed moan as you came, squeezing him so hard he had to bite back his own moan.
Your expression became one of complete bliss as Beel didn't stop or slow down, keeping his pace steady as the sweet feeling began to tighten in him, too. He was so close and you felt so goodâŠ
"Beel," you said, voice quiet, eyes half shut, like you were experiencing a little slice of heaven at the way his cock was moving inside you. "You're amazing."
And that was all it took. Beel's grip on you tightened as he came, spilling into you, taking in heavy breaths as he did, making sure he wasn't too loud.
Later when Beel brought you back out into the living room, nobody seemed to notice that the two of you were gone. He was relieved that they hadn't realized he had taken you into his bedroom to fuck you silly. He was a little embarrassed at his lack of restraint, but you had certainly been a willing participant. And the cute little knowing smile you threw his way for the rest of the night filled him with a heated warmth and made him hope that it would happen again.

Some Hygiene Ideas When It Seems Hard
You arenât alone if the act of having a shower, or brushing your teeth seems extra daunting, draining or just outright impossible.Â
There are no magic fixes, but here are some tips that might be useful to you.Â
Brushing Your Teeth
Brushing your teeth may seem impossible! And thatâs so valid. Hereâs the thing, sometimes we can ditch the regular ârulesâ and do what we need. Some things that help me:
Keeping a toothbrush and toothpaste in the shower. I find it so much easier to brush my teeth while Iâm already in the shower with the water running.Â
Brushing for 30 seconds is better than nothing! You donât have to do the entire two minutes.Â
If you can afford it, an electric toothbrush can help.Â
You can brush your teeth with water! No, really. Itâs better than nothing. Dampen your toothbrush with a bit of water and brush your teeth!Â
Having a Shower
I donât know about you, but having a shower is the most daunting task there is for me. It is so exhausting to even think about. Here are some ideas to make it easier.Â
Prepare for the After
For me, itâs what happens after the shower that is draining. It makes it a bit easier for me to get my clothes ready, have my towel laid out, and anything else I need.Â
Have Products you LoveÂ
Having my favourite smelling body wash and shampoo is so nice, and thereâs a part of me that wants to shower just to use them.Â
Donât Focus on Washing Yourself.Â
This sounds weird, but hear me out a bit. Focusing on it as a task we have to do may make it more exhausting. It might sound silly, but for me, I imagine the shower is a waterfall or rain that is âwashing awayâ some of my bad thoughts, feelings and helping me lighten the load. I focus on turning it into a calm experience.Â
You can also just focus on standing in the water, and not actually washing yourself. Itâs still likely to help you feel more clean!
Tips for Both Brushing Your Teeth & Showering
Call for Company
For me, sometimes I call a friend and stay on the phone with them until I actually get in the shower. This can help in the âpre showerâ ritual and make it seem less intimidating. I have also kept a friend on the phone while I brushed my teeth.Â
An alternative is that sometimes I find a friend who also finds the act of showering or brushing their teeth super draining, and we make a pact to do it at the same time and then we text each other when itâs time and both go do what we need to do. We then come back and text each other and tell each other âgood job!â This is kind of like an accountability buddy.
Play Some Music
I find that playing music helps, especially if itâs music that makes me feel a bit pumped up.
Focus on One Step at a Time
I find the whole idea of showering and/or brushing my teeth exhausting. There are so many steps to showering between getting undressed, getting the water on, washing my hair etc... I find that sometimes it can help to just focus on one step at a time and not the whole picture. What do I need to do first? For me, I need to turn the water on because it takes a few minutes to heat up. So Iâll focus on one thing at that moment, just turning the water on. Thatâs all I have to do. And then I go from there and see if I can work my way through the steps without looking at the âbigâ picture.
Alternatives to Help Feel Clean
Some days, we just canât do it. And thatâs okay! Here are some alternatives to help you feel clean:
Wash your face
Brush your hair
Use dry shampoo
Use body lotion
Change your clothes
Get some baby wipes or other wipes to use
Have a bath! (Use a bath bomb, bubble bath, something to make it feel pampering instead of like a task. A bath is much easier to put on an audio book, or even a show to keep you occupied).
Use some mouth washÂ
Remember that not being able to take care of your hygiene does not affect your worth! You are still worthy, even when you arenât able to do the things you need/want to do.Â

word count: 3.2k :)
a/n: thank you thank you thank you for 400 followers!!!! itâs insane how much support youâve all shown and i cannot express how much i appreciate it :)
It was around 2 oâclock in the morning when the familiar buzz of a phone echoed around the walls of the flat. It was Jake who awoke to it, cursing under his breath as his eyes refused to open from their interrupted sleep. The buzzing stopped, momentarily offering an ounce of peace which Jake gladly took- until it resumed, a growing insistence in itâs tone which eventually prompted Jake to open his eyes.Â
The first thing he did was check his watch. Seeing how late, or early, it was suddenly inserted a sense of urgency in him, as he clambered to turn on the lamp beside the bed and roll his body out. The buzzing was still prevalent as Jake finally reached the phone he shared with his alters.Â
He shouldnât have been surprised when your face shone on the screen.Â
You hadnât called in a couple of days now, neither had he, likely due to a rather explosive, extremely stupid, argument you had gotten in with all of them. It was rather rare to be in an argument with all 3 of your boyfriendâs. But after another squabble about schedules and missions, it was bound to blow up, leading to you leaving and giving the silent treatment. Not that any of them tried to stop you, just as in need of the space and reflection time.Â
All of you were renowned for your pettiness. Which is why it took Jake a moment to answer the phone. But then, worry settled in as he remembered the time, realised you wouldnât be calling unless it was absolutely necessary. He didnât make a move to talk first, figuring you would do that. He was right.
He could hear the muffled booming of music behind you, tacky club sounds that were only tolerable when pissed. Surrounding that, the obnoxious chatter of people Jake could only assume were drunk, all of it moulding into a loud hum in his ears. He cringed in his barely awake state, holding the phone away from his ear briefly before deciding to make his presence known.
âYeah?â
âJakeee?â Oh shit. He could automatically tell by your disorientated tone that you were drunk. â âs that you? Jakey?â He felt annoyance rise in him at your nonchalance to the situation, pinching the bridge of his nose with his fingers.
âYep. Why you calling?â He was being short with you. In your delirious state, you couldnât tell.
âI need- hiccup â to be p-picked up because âm hungry and tireddd and my friend, she left with this girl and I- hello, doggo, your so cute!- need you.â Jake cussed, muttering a few profanities in Spanish before finding words to reply.
âMierda, fine. Where are you?âÂ
âUmmm I donât knowww, wait, excuse me? I love your outfit, wait, sorry, where am I? Can you please message it to my boyfriend- wait can I call him that? Weâre- hiccup- angry at each other.â Your voice was slurred, desperate, and Jake suddenly felt a sense of worry at your vulnerability.Â
âGo wait inside, hmm?â Jake said through the phone, putting on some shoes and grabbing his cap and jacket. It was then his phone pinged, and he realised the strangers you had accounted yourself with had sent your location. You were still mumbling to them about the argument, about your flat, about how painful your feet were due to the dancing and stupid shoes youâd decided to wear.
Jake left you on the phone as he got in his cab, not wasting anytime as he started the engine and all but sped to where you were. It didnât take him long to arrive, the roads empty but streets alive with people looking for a good time on a Saturday night. He spotted you instantly. You were sat on the sidewalk, a woman and her partner next to you. Your head was in your hands as your, now bare, feet gently kicked the gravel. He swore again, partly at the state you were clearly in, but also at the remnants of annoyance he felt from the not forgotten vendetta.
Jake pulled over quickly, cap secured on his head as he exited his cab and made his way over to you. The people who were sat with you clocked him, one of them meeting the distance, explaining how they stayed with you until he got there, and that you were in a âpretty bad state.â Jake thanked them, making the short way over to where you were sat, still not aware of his presence.Â
âY/N,â he said simply, now stood in front of you, but you didnât notice, too lost in the song you were humming under your breath. He sighed, kneeling in front of you, hand reaching out to touch your forearm. âHey, câmon, letâs go.â Your head snapped up; eyes droopy as if you had been sleeping.
âJakeee youâre here!â You exclaimed, practically falling into his kneeling frame, catching him off guard. âThought you wouldnât come because you h-hate me now.â His face twisted in confusion.
âWhat? Your drunk, letâs get you home, câmon. Look, Iâll help you up, on three.â You sniffled; arms wrapped around his broad shoulders as he helped manoeuvre you both up. You didnât let go when you were standing, deciding you couldnât stand. He was reluctant to wrap an arm around your waist, still slightly angry, but more worried it would offend you. But it was clear it was what you needed as you tumbled, shakily attempting to walk to his car- or, rather, a complete strangerâs car. âFuck, taking too long, just, walk faster.â You did as he said, maybe too literally, as your arms began to get suffocating, as he gripped your waist, helping you both walk to his cab.Â
You giggled as his hands unknowingly tickled your side when he helped you get into the passengers seat. âSmells funny in here.â You chuckled, taking an exaggerated sniff of the air. Jake knew it was his cigars he snuck, but chose to ignore you, going to shut the door. âWAIT WHERE ARE YOU- DONâT LEAVE ME!!â your sudden rise in volume made him jump, and he came back as soon as he left.Â
âIâm getting in the car, ay.â Before turning back and saying, âSeatbelt.â
âNonono I canât do it, wonât get in the⊠thingy.â Jake had the sudden urge to kick something, forgetting how frustrating drunk you can be, especially when sober. He exhaled deeply through his nose before muttering a âfine.â You gasped as he leant over you, face awfully close to you own, so much so he could smell the alcohol on your breath. You couldnât help but chuckle again as his gloved hand came down by your side, fumbling for the seatbelt and eventually getting it in the buckle.
It was then you thought of the most hilarious idea ever. As he went to get back up, you wrapped your arms round his shoulder and pulled him, so he nearly collapsed back down onto your lap. You let out a belly laugh, tears squeezing your eyes as he shouted, âQUE MIERDA!â He got out, shutting the door slightly louder than usual as he strode to his seat in the front. âAlways playing, I swear, estĂșpido when drinking,âÂ
The car was filled with your chuckles, as if Jake had told a joke, but he was deadly silent. What could he say? You were intoxicated. He couldnât be mad at you right now, not when you wouldnât remember it. But he didnât want to be nice to you, still angry, still not ready to put it behind him completely. He was looking forward to get back to the flat where it would become his alters problem.
And truthfully, the smell of your perfume was beginning to intoxicate his senses.Â
When the flat finally came into view, Jake breathed a sigh of relief. This, however, diminished when he heard your soft snores filling the small space of the cab. He internally cussed at himself, having previously wondered why you had gone suddenly quiet, realising he would not only have to wake you up, but get you inside.Â
Jake turned the key in the ignition, engine shutting off with a slight groan. He pinched the bridge of his nose lightly, dreading the moments from now until later. âWhy has the road stopped moving?â The voice your voice, broke him from his worries, and when he turned to face you, your eyes were already desperately on his.
âHasnât, we have. Gotta get out now.â
âW-Wait, your leaving me again? Please donât leave me here!â Jake felt something in his chest pang with sadness, but he pushed it away, remembering you were drunk and had little control over your heartfelt pleas.
â âm not leaving you, look, weâre getting out the car together, yeah?â He demonstrated opening the door, motioning for you to do the same, and with a small smile of relief, you did. âThere ya go.â He praised lightly as you copied his actions. âNow wait there, Iâll come anâ get you.â
âMâkay, Jakey, Iâll wait.â Fuck. The feeling was back in his chest, harder to push away this time. He did, however, ignore it, long enough to reach where you were sat obediently awaiting him. âYour back!â You quipped excitedly, hands reaching for him in a childlike manner. He didnât answer, instead helped you up, felt goosebumps arise with every touch of your skin, felt his neck burn as your warm breezed over it.
The journey to the flat wasnât as hard as he had envisioned. Once you got the hang of walking again, you were off, with his support, of course. You had made it to the door, Jake feeling instant relief wash over him as one of his alters promised it would be their turn. âMarcâs turn now, âkay? Heâs gonna help- hey, listen, didâya hear me?â
âYes, Jake.â You try to say but it comes out as a laugh. âStay safe.â His voice is stern, but the concern is there, hidden amongst the small façade he always has up. And then his eyes are rolling back, and Jake Lockley is gone for the night- instead, Marcâs there, eyes even harder than his alters. He says nothing as he unlocked the door to the flat, pushing it open with his foot as his arm comes around your waist. You hardly react to the contact, allowing him to guide you through the familiar haze of the apartment, the place that so often felt like home, even when all your senses were torn to shreds.
âMarcâŠâ You suddenly let out, and he notices the buzz on your face has diminished, the way it always does by the end of the night.
âWhat?â He doesnât mean to be short with you, really. But a part of him, much like Jake, still held a sort of bitterness- as he always has after an argument.Â
âFeel sick.â His own stomach drops as he springs into action, cussing loudly as he all but rushes you to the bathroom. Your cheeks are dramatically puffed with air as you gag, Marc barely getting you to the toilet in time before your spilling the remnants of the night into the basin. He sighed, one hand on firmly on your shoulder, helping hold you up, and the other rubbing soft circles on your back.
âCâmon, there you go, get it all out.â You do, until your insides are aching, and head is pounding. Finally, the sick ends. You practically fall backward, Marc barely catching you as he guides you to lean against the wall, figuring that would be an easier task than standing you back up.
âHurts.â You whisper, burying your face in your hands, knees to your chest. âYour head?â Marc asks, but he already knows thatâs the answer.
âMy heart.â Oh. He turned to look at you, properly, for the first time since you came into the flat; you look terrible. Your top is hanging off your body, the action of leaning over the basin making it scramble to stay on right. Your mascara is smudged from tears. Your eyes are struggling to stay open, drooping further by the minute, and your hair has become a mess on top of your head.
Yet, Marc canât help but think youâre the most beautiful person heâs ever laid his eyes upon.
No matter what situation you all found yourselves in, he would always think that. Always.Â
When he next spoke, the edge to his voice was gone, replaced with a layer of sympathy and compassion- not that you noticed, nor particularly cared. âLetâs get you cleaned up.â He helped you stand up on your feet, trying to ignore your soft sniffles as you came down form the high of a night out. He couldnât help but swipe a tear away from your cheek, leaving his thumb for a second longer than he knew he should, just to revel in your skin.
He started by wiping off as much of your make-up as he could, using one of the wipes you had stocked in his cupboard. When he turned on the tap, you groaned. âHey, itâs okay, look, itâll help your headache.â
âNoo, âs cold.â
âItâll feel nice.â
âPromise?â
âYes.â
âPinkie promise?â Marc rolled his eyes as you held up your pinkie finger but didnât refuse it. Instead, he interlocked his own with yours, grateful to see a least the hint of a smile tugging at the end of your lips. The water did ,in fact, offer some comfort from the heat and sweat on your skin, and you thanked Marc for keeping his promise. âGood job. Wanna brush your teeth?âÂ
âYou still have my toothbrush.â It was the first coherent sentence you had said in a while. He followed to where you were pointing, your toothbrush stood proudly with the boys. âCourse, we do. Itâs only been a few days.â âThought youâd throw it away by now.â
âWhat dâyou mean?âÂ
âThat you donât love me anymore.â Marc swore his heart broke a little. His thoughts became jumbled, swirling around each other as he took in your words.Â
âWhat⊠are you, are you serious?â
âCan you do it for me?â
âHuh?â It took a moment for him to register what you were asking until you grabbed your toothbrush and held it out for him.
âPlease?â Perhaps it was your pleading, or your eyes whilst saying it, but Marc couldnât resist, taking the toothbrush and getting it ready. It was silly, really silly, especially since your mouth was already open as wide as it could be, teeth on display. Marc cleared his throat, debating on whether this was a task he wanted to do, before deciding the sooner he did, the sooner you could go to sleep. And so, he did.
You didnât react at first, not even when Marc talked you through the first step. But suddenly, you found the situation rather amusing, a giggle leaving your lips as Marc brushed your back teeth. âWhat?â You didnât respond at first, just laughed, and he found himself laughing too.
ââs weird.â You whispered, a hiccup escaping your mouth as Marc agreed.
âCertainly didnât think Iâd be doing this tonight, thatâs for sure.â
âSorry that I ruined your plans.â
âYeah, well, your lucky I love you.â It came out so naturally, without question, that even in your drunken state, you knew he meant it. It was silent for the rest of the minute. When you were done, Marc told you to spit, which you did immediately. Marc suddenly realised what you were wearing. âOh shit, wait here, lemme get you some clothes.â
âBut Iâm wearing clothes.â
âClothes to sleep in.â
ââŠoh.â You said suggestively, and Marc raised an eyebrow.
âStop messinâ around, need to get you changed.â
âOkay, Marc.â
âYou gonna wait here?â
âWhatever you say, Marc.â His heart dropped every time you said his name, as if it were given a different meaning every time it left your lips. He was back quickly with one of the tops from the draw you had in their flat, the one he knew was your favourite.
âArms up, baby.â The name slipped out, but you didnât notice- it mightâve well as been your name from him. You obliged, silent now. He was grateful that the task didnât take long, and soon enough, you were dressed comfortably. âAll done.â He muttered, mostly to himself, but you smiled, reaching for his hand.
âThank you, Marc.â He let his thumb rub over the skin of your palm, let his eyes lock with yours, pupils dilated. And then it wasnât his eyes you were staring at anymore. âHello, Steven.â You whispered, smiling.
âHiya, lovie. Letâs get you to bed, yeah?â He had already helped you up, hand still holding yours as he directed you the short distance to the bed. Â
âWhy, Mr Grant, are you trying to get me into bed?â
âVery funny. Câmon, your very tired, practically fallinâ asleep walking, eh? Besides, your much too drunk to do anything expect from sleep peacefully. Look, Iâll tuck you in so you can do just that.â Steven pulled the duvet back for you to climb into the bed, and you instantly found comfort in their smell, the sheets that moulded against your body so well. It was familiar, it was home.
Steven kept his promise, pulling the duvet tightly over your body so that it was hugging you. He even went as far as lifting your head up with one hand plumping the pillow behind it, before gently placing it back down. âAll better.â He muttered, proud at his work of making you a human cocoon.
âThank you, Steven.â
âYour very welcome. Do you need anything?â You shook your head, eyes already closing from the undeniable comfort of the sheets.
âOkay. Welp, if you change your mind, gimme a shout, okay? Iâll just be on the sofa.â Your eyes shot back open, realisation hitting as you felt his presence leaving your side.
âNo, wait, w-where are you going? Why are you leaving me?â Your eyes were getting watery as your hand reached out to tug on Stevenâs shirt.
âNo-no-no, âm not leaving you, would never leave you⊠Iâm just over there, look.â You didnât glance as he tried to show you the sofa, eyes trained on his own.
âPleaseâŠcan you stay with me?â His eyes widened slightly, not sure if he should, not sure if you would wake up and be mad at him for staying in the same bed after not being on speaking terms. But the pout on your lips, the gentle tug on his shirt, the tears in your eyes⊠he agreed, slowly getting into the bed next to you.
He was surprised when you instantly snuck out his warmth, snuggling into his side and breathing a sigh of relief. His arms sought place on your frame- one over your shoulders, the other stroking the back of your neck. He thought you were asleep when your breathing got heavier, until your voice spoke again.
âSteven?â
âHmm?â
âAre you angry at me?â He smiled, shaking his head, though you couldnât see.
âNo, love.â
âReally?â
âCourse not. Itâs in the past, yeah? Letâs just focus on getting you rested and better.â
âSo youâll stay with me?â
âAll night long âtill the sun comes up.â
âSteven?â
âYes, darling?â
âThank you for taking care âf me.â
âOf course, love.â And he smiled as he heard your gentle snores, feeling on the cusp of sleep himself. âAlways.â

Andrew Garfield talking about his girlfriend for 8 minutes video
Word Count: 1.2k
Category: Fluff
Warning: None
Summary: A fan makes a YouTube video of Andrew Garfield talking about you for 8 minutes straight.
..
When the news of you and Andrew dating got out three years ago, fans and the media had a field day.
It wasnât because you were anyone famousâquite the opposite. Being someone with a normal job, you and Andrew had basked in finally going outside as a couple, and it was how adorable the pictures looked that had everyone freaking out.
One picture was of you laughing, Andrewâs arms around you from behind as he wrapped his coat around you as he wore it, a grin on his face.
Another picture was of you looking at him, eyes set on one another with his hands tangled in your hair, while the other was of him kissing you and despite the photo not being one in high quality, everyone could still see the small smirk he had as you kissed.
It was no surprise when fans posted edits of you together, and although the content they got was minimal, considering your lack of presence in interviews and public press, it was always a field day when you appeared beside him on a red carpet or when you both did as little as grab yourselves some coffee.
Andrew Garfield talking about his girlfriend y/n for 8 minutes straight
The 8-minute and 29-second video started with lofi music over an advertisement for marvel hoodies that everyone seemed to promote, before a sound of glitching television sounded and the video started.
The video started with Andrew and Zendayaâs Actor on Actor interview when they first started talking about Zendayaâs performance on Euphoria.
âMakes me want to cry. I didnât feel like there was any acting. It felt like you were living through something in such an authentic way,â Andrew said, âAnd I remember I watched episode 5 with Y/Nâwith my girlfriend, and she was just like, âAndy, can you check up on Zendaya?ââ
Zendaya smiled, being her usual self who got flustered at any compliment or praise, âShe did text me that night, I remember.â
âShe did,â he nodded, âShe was so heartbroken over the episode.â
The video then moved to show Andrew during his Wired Autocomplete interview, the foam board in his hand as he took off the sticker that hid the question.
âDoes Andrew Garfield sing in Tick, TickâŠBoom?â He read, âSo, Andrew Garfield does sing in Tick, TickâŠBoom, yes. Thank you,â he answered, âI worked very, very closely with an amazing vocal coach, Liz Caplan, and all of Lin Manuel Mirandaâs amazing musical direction team. They enabled me to open my voice up to the point where I could honor Jonâs songs and feel confident enough to belt them out as he always did when he was doing his one-man show,â he nodded slight, âIt was a privilege to be able to learn a skill that Iâve always wanted to attain but my girlfriend wouldnât really agree,â he chuckled, looking at the camera, âY/Nâs had enough of my singing, because every time Iâd learn something new, itâd be the only thing Iâd be doing around our home and sheâs incredible, she has a job that she needs to focus on and rest from, but I was always there singing and annoying her,â he laughed, âSheâs a gem for putting up with me.â
Another clip then played as Andrew read Buzzfeedâs thirst tweets, headphones on his ears.
âAndrew Garfield if you see this on your secret Twitter account, Iâm free this weekend if you want to get lunch or drinks or something, just let me know. If you want to do it earlier, I can do dinner during the week,â he chuckled as he read the tweet, âBut Iâm usually busy before six,â he finished with a laugh, leaning back in his seat, âI love that. Thatâs very, veryâI like hyper-vigilance. I like specificity of plans,â he said, âBut Iâm going to have to give you a rain check on that because Iâm actually busy on the weekend, unless you want to join in on my girlfriend and Iâs date, then itâs fine by me,â he laughed, âI can do lunch during the week though, but weâre going to have to have that at Y/Nâs office because thatâs where youâll usually find me having my lunch.â
The clip then moved to Andrew on the Ellen show, getting asked about Spider-Man: No Way Home, and having to lie to people.
âWho knew? Beside your agent, who knew that you were doing this? I mean, how hard is that? To keep it toâI mean, your family knew?â Ellen asked him.
âYeah, my dad, my brother, and my mother at the time,â he answered with a smile, âYeah, just kind of us. It was fun to keep it secret,â he grinned, âBecause you know when youâre planning a surprise birthday party for someone, and then youâre like, tell me, you know I hate surprises, but I can see it on your face that youâre just like âIâm not gonna tell youâ,â he shook his head with his wide grin, âSo it felt like I was part of organizing a surprise birthday party for a bunch of people whom I knew would appreciate it.â
âDid your girlfriend know?â
Beaming even more, âY/N had no idea,â he said, laughing, âAndâlying to the media, to the fans, that was easy and fun, but lying to my girlfriend has got to beâit was one of the most agonizing and terrible things I have ever done.â
âYou lied to her for what? Two years?â
âTechnically, it was a year and a few months,â Andrew pointed.
âAnd howâhow did she take that? Iâd be pretty offended.â
He laughed, shaking his head, âShe wasnât, she wasnât. I knew sheâd appreciate it because she knows how I feel about my experience with the character, and it wasâIâll tell you something,â he sat up, smiling, âIt was worth every single moment where I had to tell her I was shooting for another movie when I saw her reaction when we went to watch it together,â he said, âWe had to watch it again because she couldnât really focus after I was on screen,â he laughed, âBut yeah, itâit was definitely hard having to lie to her, and it definitely made her tease me about trust for a while, but she supported me throughout without even knowing.â
The clip then moved to the last one, being from a recent interview with GQ of 10 things Andrew canât live without.
In a t-shirt and sporting a full beard, he held a silver necklace with a compass on it.
âThis is a necklace with a compass on it,â he said, holding the necklace in his hands before the camera zoomed on it before it showed him again, âMy girlfriend Y/N gave this to me in a period where I needed to trust the direction I was going, even if I didnât know where I was going,â he chuckled, looking at it, âItâs become such a symbol of our relationship because in a way, to me, it feels like it navigates us both back to where we have always met, toward our common interests and our differences that initially made us attracted to each other. But sheâs always been very persistent on her support for me and my journey in my career, and my journey as a person, so this necklace is just a reminder from her that the direction Iâm headed in is always one I can find value in,â he smiled, âMy relationship with Y/N is very essential to me. Sheâs justâSheâs truly my person, and this necklace is a symbol of the deep connection we have with each other.â

it only takes a taste | mike schmidt x reader
word count: 1.6k
warnings: none! this is just pure fluff and maybe kind of slowburnish lol
this was loosely based off of it only takes a taste from the waitress musical! :3
idk i just really like the idea of late nights with mike even if he's too tired to even think straight lmao
also don't ask what time period this takes place in, i was born in 2004 and know like 2 things about the 70s-90s or whenever the movie takes place bc its never explicitly mentioned
i also do not regularly bake or cook so do not be afraid to go to my comment section and tell me if something sounds off
i love this man ok, i have said it 1000 times already but i've been in love with him ever since i first saw him when i was like 12 or 13 and was even more so obsessed with rebornica's mike design for YEARS. 12 year old me would have an aneurism if she knew about the fnaf movie
you let out a long yawn, one hand reaching up cover your mouth so as not to potentially ruin the mood of any customers around; granted, there was only two and they were graveyard shifters from somewhere outside of town but customers are customers. you'd been working at sparky's for a couple of months now, figuring it was an easy way to make some cash and keep food on the table. of course, you hadn't accounted for the very long hours that passed where you half debated trying to sneak away since no was around from 2-4:00 am: your boss would kill you, though, and you wanted to stay employed.
soft oldies music plays in the background as you glance over at the clock ticking away on the wall. just as you move to grab a rag to clean the counters for the 5th time during your shift, you hear the bell above the entrance jingle and don't even have to look up to know who it is.
mike wasn't a regular at first, just someone who popped in at random and very quietly asked for a coffee. after a while of starting a new job, he started coming in at almost 11:00 pm everyday and always asking for the same thing: just a plain, black coffee. "seriously?" you had said with a smirk the first time he said his order to you, your eyes widening at the attitude you had just given a customer. fortunately, mike was quick to respond with a tired but good natured laugh, his hands folded in front of him. "i'm all ears if you have other recommendations." he mumbled with a smile tugging at the corner of his lips, giving you instant relief.
now, it was just clockwork. "hey." mike sighs with a soft sigh, rubbing a hand over his eyes as he takes a seat at a chair by the counter you were standing behind. "coffee machine is kind of acting up tonight, you're gonna have to give it a minute. want anything else while you wait?" you say as you approach the counter, giving him a quick smile. mike is about to decline your offer, his lips parting to say something before his eyes land on something on the farther end of the counter.
"what about that? still good?"
"you're just in time. i was going to take the rest of it home." you say with a smile, walking over to the cake stand holding an apple pie with only 3 slices left of it. you take the lid off to plate it, handing it over to mike with a hum before bringing him utensils. you don't even get the chance to bring up to him that the slices have been sitting there for a couple of hours, blinking in shock at the way he's quick to start eating.
you turn your back to start taking down the chalkboard advertising the special from the day before, giving mike his one moment of quiet you were sure he needed. you start to think about what your day will consist of once you're done with your shift, dreading having to clean your room before you can actually sleep.
"did you make this?"
"yeah. why, is it bad?" you say with a chuckle, turning to look at mike again; your eyes widen a bit at the way mike is looking at you, his own eyes looking at you like he can't believe what he just put it in his mouth.
"no, no, it's..it's really good, like. really good."
your cheeks redden a bit at the sudden compliment, pushing a piece of hair behind your ear as you occasionally glance at him enjoying the pie you'd made; you wouldn't say you were amazing at cooking but you definitely knew enough to make a meal that would do more than just feed you.
it also didn't help that you'd been harboring a crush on mike for the past month. that you were aware of, he didn't have a partner of any kind but that might have been more to do with the fact he didn't have time for one than anything else. you at first brushed it off as just not having contact with anyone your age that late at night, just enjoying his company when nights got lonely. but you couldn't deny the way you would style your hair a bit differently or try a new perfume in the hopes of getting a compliment from mike; to your absolute pleasure, he almost always pointed it out. now to hear this sudden praise for your cooking took you out of your element.
"thanks, really, but i make it all the time. i can make thousands like it and they'll all be the same." you say with a light chuckle, crossing your arms against your chest as you look over at the cake stand sheepishly. "then maybe you should consider getting a day job making these instead." mike says between bites, giving you a playful smile. you can't help but scoff despite the smile on your face, looking over at mike again.
"well, if it's that easy, maybe YOU should quit your job and come and join me. keep me company."
the two of you have a quiet laugh, your cheeks reddening at the indirect compliment you had paid him. once his plate is empty, you take it away from him just to have an excuse to do something with your hands (also to get away from the almost fond look that mike was giving you right now, definitely not on par for him). there's a tense silence between the two of you before mike speaks up, clearing his throat when he speaks. "uh, i tried making that at home. the pie, i mean. i don't remember what kind it was right now, but it definitely didn't end as well as that." he says with a nervous laugh, hands folded in front of him again as you hear the coffee machine start to pour out his drink.
"well, what exactly did you do wrong?"
with surprisingly no hesitance, mike goes on to tell the story of how sure he was about this recipe he'd seen in a catalogue, going above and beyond to make sure this "stupid thing" (his words) came out right. little did he know leaving his creation unattended for even a second would result in smoke pouring out of the oven and having to throw out a charred-black pastry; "and then abby went and acted like we could just go and do it all over again and.." mike starts, hands waving around uncharacteristically as he finished off his story. he caught the way you were trying to hold back a laugh, fingers pressed to your lips that were etched into a small smile.
"it's ok, you can laugh all you want. i never tried doing it again."
you can't help the laugh that leaves you once he gives you his full permission, still trying to keep your voice down. "i-i'm sorry, really.." you giggle once you've calmed down, rubbing your hands over your face before you start to walk around the counter to where mike is sitting. "but that's not how making a pie works. you can't just leave it like that or give up on the process that easily."
mike makes a face that says 'i'm listening', shrugging his shoulders when you sit on the stool next to him. "making a pie is like.." you start with a sigh, hands propping up your chin in thought as you look up at the clock. "you just know when some things feel right. if something is too much or too little, whether you need to start again or not. lord knows i've had to redo entire pies because the crust wasn't flaky enough or the filling didn't taste like apples enough." you say, chuckling a bit as you remember all the times you'd slaved away for almost entire days trying to nail down the perfect home recipe. you take a minute to think again, sitting back a bit as you smooth down your apron tied around your waist. "and it also doesn't help if you make something just to make something. when you bake or just cook a plain old steak, you have to make it like you're crafting a story or making a song. all of my best meals were made with someone or something in mind."
your cheeks go red again when you realize the very unprompted ramble you went on, a nervous laugh leaving you as you look down at your lap.
"sorry, you totally don't have to-"
"no, no, i-"
the two of you jump a bit at the way you both try to speak first, sheepish smiles tugging at your lips before you go quiet again. the bell above the door jingles and you don't have to look up to know the two of you are alone now.
"i like hearing about that sort of stuff. i really only hear about it when i'm here with you and it's..nice. different."
your heart soars and you can only hope that mike can't somehow feel or hear it, trying to give him a warm smile without saying something you'll regret. you get up from your seat with a when he checks his watch, knowing that's code for 'i need to go' even before he stands. you're almost sure he'll leave without saying anything which you are simultaneously grateful for and hoped he wouldn't do, already busying yourself with some other menial task.
"hey."
you look up almost as soon as he speaks, seeing the smile tugging at his lips and not able to contain your own. "save those leftovers for me. i hope it still tastes like you were trying to make it for me when i get back." he says, a smug look in his eyes as your lips part a bit in shock. you try to call out to him before he jogs out to his car, taking off accordingly.
-> ta da its done! :D <-
this was honestly less romantic than i wanted it to be but i promise that my brain is racked with thoughts of him literally EVERY DAY so mayhaps i can write something else that's more up to par one of these days
but thank yall for reading! :D i haven't been able to pump out a oneshot like this for a while and it felt good to write something longer than a couple of paragraphs, i have missed this account sm đșđ love yall and i hope that you all are having a fantastic day!

Intrusive thoughts on Romeo for all of the few Romeo lovers out there.
đ Human đ
- âšcharmingâš
Heâs unbelievably charming, weâve all seen the King of Puppets intro. So I believe human Romeo is the definition of Prince Charming. Heâs treating you to flowers and kisses on the hand. If not heâs greeting you with a playful bow.
- Quality Time
Romeo is huge on quality time, whether or not you guys are actually talking. Heâs fine with laying against you as you read a book while playing with his hair. Please brush his hair! He loves the feeling of your hands in his hair.
- Late Night Dates
Iâd imagine Romeo to be slightly rebellious and adventurous. Heâs the type to climb up to your window and take you out for some fun. Take you to hidden spots around Krat or to a beautiful view. Heâd gently hold your hand and pull you close to him. Humming a tune while slow dancing with you in the park. Dimly lit by the street lights, heâd stare at you as if youâre the brightest star.
đ Puppet đ
- Extremely Possessive
At that point, Romeo had just lost Carlo and had seen the horrors of the Petrification Disease and the Alchemists. Heâs not letting you out of his sight for a second. Keeping you hidden away somewhere in the Estella Opera House. Commanding other puppets to guard your room and to protect you at all costs. But thatâs only if heâs not around to guard you himself.
- Dancing
Sometimes heâd let you out of your room to dance around the Estella Opera House Stage. The few times heâd come out of his suit and somewhat let his guard down. How it would make his springs tick when he sees you come out from backstage wearing a lavish outfit. The music would start up and heâd greet you with a bow before whisking you away to dance.
- Hair
Please keep playing with his hair. He still loves it, it reminds him of when he was human. Heâll pull you towards a sofa as he sits on the floor. Handing you a brush while tilting his head at you expectantly. His springs and gears are creaking and ticking happily as you brush it.
- Reassurance
Romeo needs reassurance. After he chooses to have Geppetto turn him into a puppet heâs suddenly very self-conscious. He was scared to see your reaction at first. So to see you still love him for him makes his mechanical heart soar. He would cry if he could. Please reassure Romeo of your love for him đ„ș

đ Human đ
- Teasing
Romeo loves teasing you until youâre nothing but putty in his arms. Whispering into you just to see you flustered. He definitely uses his height advantage (unless youâre taller) against you. Occasionally pinning you to the wall as he tilts your head up for a kiss. Pulling one of your legs up to hook around him. But then suddenly pulling away just before anything more happened. Heâs waiting for you to reach your breaking point where you grab him and pull him off to make sure he finishes what he started.
- Soft
Heâs so soft and romantic when heâs not teasing you. Romeo doesnât want to fuck, he wants to make love. Worshiping every inch of your skin and making sure you feel the depth of his love and devotion to you. Heâs praising you every time you cum, calling you precious, and telling you how well you take him.
- Giver
Romeo is definitely a giver. He loves pleasing you to your every whim. Heâs down bad for you and will do anything for you. Want him to eat you out? Heâs savoring you like the finest of ambrosia. Want him to use your mouth? He wonât stop showering you in praise as he thrusts into your throat. Thanking you for letting him use your mouth. Anything, and I mean anything, as long as youâre a satisfied puddle after heâs done.
- Switch
Romeo definitely wouldnât mind letting you take the lead if you wanted. He wonât complain if you want to put on a show for him. But sometimes after his Stalker duties he just needs to bury himself into your warm body and de-stress.
-Kissing
Romeo loves kissing while you two have sex. Itâs a must. He loves feeling your lips or skin against his lips. Kissing just makes everything feel so much more intimate and real to him. Rile him up by returning those kisses, whether itâs his lips or his chest. Just kiss him back and all of a sudden heâs gripping you as he thrusts faster while he whimpers out how much he loves you.
- Aftercare
ROMEO IS NOT ONLY THE KING OF PUPPETS BUT THE KING OF AFTERCARE. Heâs cleaning you up like the most delicate flower while his warm calloused hands rub you so soothingly. Making sure you hydrate while he brushes out any tangles in your hair. Pressing a kiss to your forehead and then to your lips. Whispering sweet nothings into your hair before giving you his shirt to wear to sleep. Heâs wrapping his arms around you as he holds you close before falling asleep.
đ Puppet đ
- Size Difference
We all saw how tall he was in the game. If he wasnât taller than you before, he probably is now. Heâs pulling you underneath him as he thrusts into you. Calling you his little star or his heart as he absolutely ruins you.
- Dominant/overstimulation
Iâd imagine after becoming the King of Puppets heâs a lot more dominant. Easily holding you down and making you take all of him (with consent). Whispering into your ear âHowâs it like to have a King claiming you, my little star?â. Before sliding his entire length into you. Growling out in a staticky voice âMine, mine, mineâŠâ, heâs once again possessive after everything thatâs happened. Heâs going to make you cum multiple times despite you crying and whimpering you canât take more. He knows you can because you donât want to disappoint your King, do you?
- Hear me out⊠đč the suit đčâŠâŠâŠ.
Sometimes heâs really impatient and pent up. So heâll grab you with one of the many large hands before opening up the hatch and tossing you inside with him. The hatch closes and now youâre stuck inside with a very pent-up Romeo. No one is going to disturb you guys for a while⊠Heâll keep you there until heâs absolutely satisfied.
-Aftercare
Usually that consists of you helping him clean since now he has nooks and crannies from being a puppet. But Romeo really appreciates it and helps him actually wind down. He just loves watching you take care of him and feeling your skin against him. He pulls your hand up to his cheek as he nuzzles it. Thanking you for not leaving him after seeing him become a puppet. Reassure his worried mind and shower him in kisses.

Fall is settling in nicely in Texas. The days are still warm, but the weekends no longer hold as much daylight as they did weeks ago.Â
Everything transitioning into its autumnal journey, your yard drenched in rustic hues and sunshine.Â
You and Javier both loved taking advantage of the nicer weather, wanting to soak up as much of it as possible before the shift into a colder season, deciding to spend your evenings on the patio as the days wound down and the sun set behind the pasture on the west side of the ranch. Â
Chores were the first thing that needed to be tackled. Divide and conquer seemed to work well for you both. You took on the inside duties of laundry, dusting, and food prep, while Javier managed the outsideâ mowing, tree trimming, truck washing.Â
Bed made with clean sheets, a load of dirty clothes placed into the washerâ the previous load hung in the backyard on the clothesline, dinner prepared and waitingâ your list of to-doâs dwindling as the day went on. Now you find yourself planted at the sink of dirty dishes, your kitchen window a front row seat to the old barn, your eyes glued on your husband as he washes his truck.Â
His striped sky blue shirt encapsulates every detail of his back, sleeves tight around the bulk of his arms, muscles flexing as he scrubs the soapy sponge back and forth across the metal surfaceâ and you thank whoever designed his well-fitted jeans. A week's worth of dirt slowly slid off the sides of the old ranch truck, a prized possession that had been passed down from Chucho when Javier had decided to take on more responsibilities around the ranch.Â
It has been two years since moving into the home Javier grew up in, wanting something big with the hopes of starting a family in the future. Chucho insisted you both move in, stating the house was far too big for just himâ he moved into the ranchâs guest house down the dirt road. Memories tucked to every corner of the house, old family photos still hanging in the very spot his Mama placed them.
Javier must sense heâs being watched when he turns towards the kitchen window, catching your eyes on him. His gaze lingers a bit, soap and water dripping from the sponge in his large hand. He shoots you a wink with a smile that makes you instantly weak.Â
âShit!â The mug you had been washing slips from your soapy hands into the water below, water splashing back at you, soaking the thin material of your dress, your attention drawn back to the sink and the remaining dishes. Somehow Javier still makes you flustered after all these years with just a simple look thrown your way.Â
Glancing back out the window again to find Javier is no longer there, the suds freely dripping off the truck door and sponge discarded on the ground. The creak of the screen door lets you know exactly where your husband is as you proceed to dry the drinking glasses and place them in the cupboard. His shuffling around in the living room does little to help you know what heâs up to.Â
âJavi?â You call out to him as you finish putting away the last of the plates and bowls, wiping the counter off before you go in search of your husband.Â
The slight crackle of a record starting makes you aware of his locationâ the living room. His old collection of records and record player had been boxed away in the attic after he moved away. Last Spring, while you were putting away the winter blankets, you stumbled upon his music collectionâ something from nearly every genre. You pulled everything down one weekend while he was busy in town with Chucho, having everything set up on the bookcase and a record going when he got home. It became a habit that one of you would slip on a new record, windows open allowing the breeze to carry the songs throughout the house.Â
A familiar tune begins, it instantly brings a smile to your face.
âWise men say...â
The low timber of his voice sends a tingle down your spine any time he sings your wedding song. For such a reserved man, who refuses to indulge in karaoke, he jumps at any chance to serenade you within the walls of your homeâ one of the many things you love about him.
A set of arms wrap around you, welcoming you back from your walk down memory lane, pulling you against his chest as he begins to move about the kitchen with you. Your bodies swaying together as the music continues, his face nuzzled in close to your cheek as he hums along with the song.
âLike a river flows
Surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes
Some things are meant to beâŠâ
Your body leans into him, the rest of the chores fully abandoned as you both waver about the kitchen, savoring how easy it is to create new memories in your home.
âYou sure know how to get out of chores Peña.â You tell him just as he spins you around so youâre facing him, looping your arms around his neck while his hands settle on your backâ Javier singing along completely ignoring your comment.Â
âIf Iâm not mistaken Querida, Iâm pretty sure you were hardly putting an effort into yours.â He teases you before grabbing your hand to send you twirling around. You canât contain your laughter, living for these spontaneous moments of ease with the man youâre so completely head over heels for. Your body is pulled back into his, resuming the energetic flow between the two of you. A sweet rhythm of bliss now strumming through your body as you melt into his arms.Â
âHmm, I donât know what youâre talking aboutâŠâ Hiding your smirk into his warm neck, knowing full well what heâs referring to.Â
âThat wasnât you gawking at me through the windowââ
âI was not gawking, Javi!â As you playfully pat his chest. âI was just admiring the view.âÂ
âYou were in fact gawking. I think I clocked you at 10 minutes from the first moment I noticed you hadnât moved.â
âYou are so exaggerating!â Heâs definitely not wrong though, itâs hard to pull your eyes away from such a thing of beauty.Â
âHow about we take this to the bedroom, Queridaâ and Iâll show you exaggeration!â He taunts into your ear.Â
âJavier! Your truck is half washed in the drivewayâ and I know youâre going to be pissed about the soap drying on it right now. Plus, I already made the bed.âÂ
Heâs dragging you back towards the stairs that lead to the bedroom, his infectious smirk displayed across his stupid handsome face, your body doing little to stop itself from his magnetic pull.Â
âIâll just wash it again. Iâll even set a chair up for you to admire up close. Get you one of those ice cold beers too.â He says as he falls back into the bed, pulling your body on top of his.Â
âAnd Iâm pretty sure this wonât be the last time we dirty these sheets this weekendâŠâ His voice muffled against your neck, his lips planting kiss after kiss as he pleads his caseâ you easily succumb to his antics.
His hands work at the line of buttons that trail down the front of your dress, your own undoing his buckle before working at the button and zipper of his jeansâ he hisses as your hands hastily move over bugle straining behind his jeans.Â
Your dress is open and hanging off your shoulders as you slowly sink down on Javierâs cock, the stretch of him a welcomed adjustment, his length hitting something delicious as you settle at the base of him.Â
âFuck, Javi!!â Hands splayed over Javierâs firm chest for support, your head thrown back as a rapturous whine pours out into the room, a slight bounce to your breasts as you moveâ the cups of your bra pulled down, the cool air has your nipples pebbled and tight. Javier is taken by your angelic stateâ you're a sight to be seen.Â
Javierâs fingers are digging into the meat of your thighs, the slow stuttering roll of your hips as you move over his cock has him worked up faster than he has anticipated.Â
âQueridaâ Shit! Baby, Iâm not gonna lastâ you look so good riding my cock like that!â His hips bucking up at the feeling of your cunt clenching around him.Â
âIâm right there with you, Amor!âÂ
A few swipes over your throbbing clit and a string of quick thrusts, both of you cresting the euphoric peak in unison.Â
You collapse on top of Javier, a strong arm wraps around your waist, a hand cupping your neck, Javier determined to keep you as close as possibleâ you fully melting into his touch.Â
Breathing ragged and hearts racingâ bodies perfectly satiated and filled with an intense love for each other.Â
âI should probably get up and get dinner started. That should be plenty of time for you to rewash the truck.â You donât show any signs of actually doing so, too relaxed to care about finishing the rest of your chores.Â
âOrâ we can just lay here a little longer. Save the food and truck washing for tomorrow. We can go into town later and get dinner instead.â
âA man after my heart. Iâd marry you if I wasnât already.â He rolls you off him onto your back, hands roaming over your dewy skin as he kisses you slowly.Â
The lull of the record player echoes through the house as the music fades out, clothes and sheets are thrown about the bedroom, the dayâs plans forgotten as you both seek out a more exhilarating afternoon.Â

Forever and Always
Forever and AlwaysÂ
Ëâ· ÍÍÍÍâłâ„ Summary: Changbin is your best friend and is in love with you(baby is down BAD and SIMPINGt) and everyone knowsâbecause heâs too in love to hide it and he wants you to knowÂ
: ÌÌâWarnings: simp binnie, friends to lovers, pet names, binnie rambles(affectionate and cute), kissing, fluff, the other members teasing binnie(playfully),mention of Binnieâs family( like one time), fem!reader , band mates call reader Mrs.SeoÂ
(this is my first time writing a friends to lovers trope, pls bare with me <3) ENJOY!!!! :)Â
Changbin had a crush on youâmajorlyâ and everyone knows. How do they know? Because, he doesnât care to hide it, and he wants you to know. You were his home screen, lock screen, top contactâafter his family. Your accountsâDisney +, spotify, etcâ were added on his phone, so you didnât have to worry about going with movies, music or whatever you needed; so long as he was there. This did, however, warrant a LOT of teasing from his band mates. Changbin was constantly met with the âwhy havenât you confessed yet?â Or the âjeez, down that bad, huh, bin?â from his members. He didnât care, though, as long as he had you. And, that brings you to now.
Changbin and his members were in the practice studio, touching up routines for upcoming performances. Everyone was sitting ( or laying down), as they were taking a break. He sat on the long couch, scrolling through his phone, and texting you, before a nosy Seungmin plopped himself by his hyung, letting out a chuckle. âHyung, youâre still texting her?Just confess already!â Seungmin spoke up, earning nods from the other members.âYeah, bin, she feels the same! Just tell her!â Hyunjin piped in, before Jeongin giggled. âWhat were you texting about anyways?Your wedding?â He laughed before Changbin whined. âYahhhhh. I was just asking how far she is from the studio. Sheâs bringing lunch.â He whined, going back to his phone , texting you that his band mates were teasing him again. However, you were already in the building, walking to their practice room with bags of food in your hand. Giggling, you managed to send him a text back. âAlmost there, bun. Iâm coming to rescue you.hehehe.â You smiled, sliding your phone into your back pocket and walking down the long hallway of various rooms.
Finally(it was only a 2 minute walk) you found their closed door, and you could hear them still teasing Changbin, other members laughing along. Carefully you pushed the door open, and were met with a giddy Changbin running toward you and 7 other men smiling. âHi boys, I have food!â You smiled, as Changbin took a bag from your hands, setting it on the floor. You heard a chorus of âHi Y/nnie!â and âHi Mrs.Seoâs. Giggling you pinched Changbin on his cheek, taking a seat next to him, away from the others.âHi, bun. You doing okay?â You smiled, reaching a hand out to run through his hair. âMhm. They were just teasing me again, missed you though.â he smiled back, taking a bite of his food. Although you had hung out together yesterday, you couldnât deny that you missed him too. âI missed you too, bun. Always do.â You smiled , wiping a bit of sauce from the corner of his mouth. âAre we doing anything after you finish practice?â You asked, taking another bite of your food, subconsciously scooting closer to him. Wrapping his arm around your shoulder, Changbin shrugged, âdoesnât matter to me, bunny.â Heâd said, resting his cheek against the top of your head.Â
You and Changbin, however, were so immersed in your bubble that you didnât notice the other members leaving, or calling out to you.âMrs. Seo, Iâm going to the bathroom.â âMr and Mrs. Seo, Iâm going to get a drink from the vending machine, d o you want anything?â It all went over yours and Changbinâs heads. It was just the two of you. Feeling tired after eating, you had cuddled yourself into Changbinâs chest, slinging an arm over his midsection and put your legs across his lap.. âMmmm, bun. You smell nice,â you mumbled, holding him tighter. Blushing, he pressed a light kiss on the top of your head. âThank you, bunny. You comfy?â He whispered, rocking you back and forth lightly. Yes, you two were always affectionate, this seemed different and was definitely pulling his heart strings. Nodding against his chest, you smiled, grabbing his hand. âMhm, youâre so cozy. I like cuddling you.â Youâd said, softly smiling up at him and manâŠ..the amount of love for you he had in his chest was going to explode. âI love you, bunny,â he said, pressing a kiss to your forehead, as you were slowly blinking, trying to stay awake. âWhat?â You whispered, slightly pulling back and cupping his cheeks in your hands.â N-nothing, bunny. Just take a nap, yeah?â Changbin said, with a blush creeping up his neck and ears, a pink hue tinting them. â No no⊠bun, Whatâd you say?â You spoke up, thumbs caressing his cheeks. âI-I said I love you. Not as a friend, as a girlfriend. Bunny, itâs always been you, ever since we met and you started talking to me. Youâve had my heart and soul and mind. Geez youâre so pretty and talented and sweet and kind and loving and I love you. Andâand everyone knows, the both know my family knows, Heck I think the whole knows and Iâve just been to confess because I donât want to lose you,ever-â Heâd rambled , trying to avoid your gaze. But before he could ramble any further, you leaned in pressing your lips to his. He was surprised but kissed back, one hand pulling you into his chest further and the other cradling the small of your back. A minute later, you pulled away, your forehead against his. âOh my binnie, my sweet bun. I love you too, I always have. Iâve always been yours, always and forever.â You whispered, placing another peck to his lips. Smiling, he hugged you tightly to his chest, pressing a kiss to your hair âI love you, forever and always, my bunny.â
Too immersed in your love for one another, neither of two noticed the other boys reentering the room. The only thing that snapped you out of your love bubble was the cheering, clapping and giggling from the others. âFinally! Finallyyyyyyyy, we knew this would happen!â Chan smiled, sitting back on the floor. Han and Felix clapped.
âWaahhh, congratulations hyung and Y/nnie!â They giggled before Jeongin and Lee Know piped up.
âOh my god, You did it?! You confessed?!â They smiled, patting Changbinâs knee, laughing. Hyunjin was the last to enter the room, seeing you and Changbin.
âOh my goooood! It happened! We can plan the wedding! Wait wait, kiss kiss kiss!Does this mean weâll get to be uncles soon?!â
You and Changbin could only giggle, pressing a kiss to each otherâs lips, as the others watched, cheering you on. Sure, his band mates annoyed him, but he officially had you and your love to keep him saneâforever and always.
