Should I keep posting here? I feel like it makes no sense to do so. I have like 22k followers but am lucky for maybe 180 notes on a post.. Do people just don’t care about my art anymore? Wazzzuppp my fellow heathens~ I'm back with a redraw of my old Monkey King drawing. Previously in a older post I had mentioned how it had been one of my favorites until it got ruined. Weeeell— last night in my state we had some pretty gnarly storms and the power went out. Soooo because I had no power and barely any battery on my cell I just drew instead. So bare with me! I had to use a little flashlight to draw the majority of it once the sun went down.

It's not as detailed/shaded as the other one but that's because I'm thinking about coloring it tho idk. Maybe, maybe not well see ~

Regardless I hope you guys like it!!!

Rough Days

When I drag myself through life and get pushed around by strangers' shoulders while commuting, I play some music. It either sinks me deeper into the pit or pulls me out with a thrust. Somedays, it's neither. No headphones. No sound. Just breathing. The heavy hushes of my lungs sound magical as I fall apart slowly.

I can't afford to lose now, during my prime time. I've bruised my career already and can not risk committing homicide. So, I promise myself the dream. Wishful thinking gets the better of me. Maybe it's helpful, maybe it's harmful.

Sometimes I burst with energy, ready to conquer the world, but also the other times I wish to disappear as evening sets in. Regrets build in me, and I break out in cold sweat.

Will I crumble like sand castles on the beach when I fail? Or will I wither like a rose only to grow a bud of hope in the warm sun?
