Here is my subjective ranking of all the costume trailers iQIYI released (since I didn’t watch moderns or republican stuff they posted) note - not only is it subjective, it is just the trailers which often does not correlate with either quality of or my interest in the drama itself.

11 Go East - I am vvvv fond of Tan Jianci but this was the only trailer that bored me. It wasn’t bad, it just gave me NO hook of any kind. It’s a pity since this was one of the very few historical trailers (as opposed to wuxia, xianxia etc) and I love those. This said, trailers and dramas often don’t correlate so I hope the drama is good.

10 Reborn for Love - half this trailer is cutesy hijinks and I am just not wired for that. By the time the trailer was halfway over, I found myself thinking that if it wasn’t for leads, I’d not check it out. But the back half has blood and romance and I sat up and paid attention.

9 Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact - I wanted to be more excited for this than I was. I love the cast. But even in comparison with the trailers for the other two entries in the series it looks…generic. I don’t truly get the vibe or the story. It’s nice but doesn’t grab me.

8 Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Sword and Beloved - it’s gorgeous and intense and screams fantasy romance and Cheng Yi fighting and bleeding. Pay your taxes, everyone!

7 Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Love in Pavillion - the visuals, the vibe, the angsty love feel, the colors! That trailer was my fave out of Fox ones. I need this drama now!

6 Strange Tales of Liao Zhai 2 - I haven’t seen s1 and mysteries (even supernatural ones) aren’t my thing. But the visuals in that trailer are insane and I spy with my little eye Yang Xuwen as one of two mains and the man owns my heart for Eternal Brotherhood and he brings his young Hu Ge vibes here too!

5 Win or Die - this baby is apparently only 18 eps and is all war war war but it’s a Cao Dun drama so the visuals are eye popping. It’s just stunning to look at tbh and sometimes (a lot of times), I want a grim war epic.

4 The Legend of Rosy Clouds - this trailer just grabbed me for some reason - it really makes you want to watch these people. It’s not visually amazing compared to the rest but it’s just dragging me in. In fact, while this isn’t my favorite trailer, out of all the dramas they promoed, this is the one I want to actually watch the most. I used to love the anime so maybe that’s why?

3 Snowy Night: Timeless Love - all the snow and the longing and the battles and we all know we will see red blood on that pristine white soon enough.

2 Love of the Divine Tree - it’s very very pretty and has so much shipping and angst and I have a huge 17 hangover so seeing Deng Wei with similar vibes is sending me. Honestly, my fantasy romance junkie is thirsting.

1 Fangs of Fortune - if someone told me a trailer for a drama full of actors I don’t care for would be my favorite, I’d not have believed it but here we are. This is fantasy and visuals and hooking you done right. I need this NOW!

ETA; I forgot follow your heart OMG! That’s my most fave except for Fangs of Fortune!

ETA2: and A Moment But Forever - I would rank it just behind snowy love.

Okay in honor of the high likelihood that we're getting the s2 trailer today I wanted to post this draft that I've been sitting on for like a month so it wouldn't be tainted by any juicy new tidbits we might get today:

I can't wait to look back on this post and either celebrate my future-seeing psychic abilities or laugh/cry at how naïve i was so here goes-

These are my predictions for the basic narrative structure of s2 (based off of a 10 ep season):

-I think it's gonna be your typical 3 act story arc: act 1 is resolving the conflict that was set up at the end of last season, act 2 is exploring the consequences of that resolution (the good and the bad) and setting up/discovering a new, bigger conflict to worry about, and act 3 is the drama of either confronting that bigger conflict for the first time but not fighting it yet, or starting to fight the bigger conflict but ending the season on a "holy shit we're fucked" note (that gets resolved in act 1 of the next season)

-similar to s1, episodes 1-3 are act 1: they're going to be spent resolving the Ed/Stede/Crew being separated issue with Ed and Stede finally reuniting (or about to reunite) at the end of ep 3. Narratively this makes sense to me since the big immediate issue is the physical separation of the two love interests, so the writers might want to "resolve" that issue sooner rather than later bc audiences don't want to see their faves separated for too long even if it makes for good character development and conflict. Ed is gonna be sad but try to seem aloof, Stede is probably gonna be told all about Ed's transgressions with the crew which will create more opportunity for complex emotions on Stede's side. Also he and the crew are gonna steal a ship or something and Stede is gonna start showing signs of *gasp * semi-competency when it comes to captaining. Also I don't know which ep exactly but I think we'll get Lucius back in this act (I hope)

-episodes 4-7 are act two: they're gonna be a mixture of funny awkward exes era for Ed and Stede with a healthy dash of some angst and miscommunication thrown in there for good measure. Ed is gonna slowly have the ice around his heart get melted from being in close proximity to the sun (Stede's unintentional charm combined with his newfound competence will be literally impossible for anyone to ignore, let alone Ed) and Stede is going to FINALLY start to realize how deeply he hurt Ed by leaving and HOPEFULLY understand that the core reason Ed was hurt was bc he actively wanted Stede by his side (cue more confidence-building for Stede)

-episode 8 is when they Do It

-on a less jokey note (even tho I'm kinda dead serious about the statement above) episode 8 is in a weird limbo where it's the transitional ep between acts 2 and 3. I think this is when we'll finally get the love confession from Stede. since act 2 finally put them both on equal footing and they're no longer actively mad at each other, I'm predicting ep 8 is when they finally sit down and hash it all out - why stede left, why Ed went kraken mode, how they hurt each other and the crew, and how they want to move forward. idk if this will be a big dramatic yelling conversation where stede blurts out something like "because I love you, you nut!!!" or if it'll be a quiet conversation where stede gently says "because I love you, you nut 🥺" but either way I think stede confesses this ep. Does Ed reveal he loves stede in return? Idk man!!! But once stede raises the emotional atmosphere to dizzying heights with his confession they'll be overcome with passion and flap their jacks or whatever. either the ep will end on a sweet note with no ominous signs of the next Big Bad brewing, or the very sweet and intimate afterglow will get interrupted by big scary news about some threat on the horizon. which brings us to act 3:

-episode 9 will fully introduce the Big Bad of the season (maybe whatever/whomever it is had already been talked about in previous eps, hell maybe they've been seen on-screen in previous eps like chauncy, but this will be when the main villain/issue reveals the full extent of how much of a threat they are). Ed and Stede will kick into co-captain mode which will either have a bit of a rocky start as they're still working through fully trusting one another again or it'll be so seamless and in-synch it actually visibly shocks the crew. this ep will be when plans are made on how to defeat the Big Bad

-and finally, ep 10 will be the showdown with the Big Bad where the crew implements whatever plan they made. oh fuck I just remembered the revenge is probably not gonna make it through this season. this might be the ep where she gets blown tf up for strategy purposes idk. someone (probs buttons, but maybe the Swede) will make a Viking funeral comment. anyway the crew will likely pull off the plan, but right at the end of the ep they'll discover that the threat is actually way bigger than they thought and THAT will be the cliffhanger/set up for s3

*Private Practice Season 1 Episode 1*

The moment the world met Charlotte King.

Looking back now, I have loved this character from the beginning. I've read about people who hated her at first but grew to love her as the series progressed, this thankfully did not befall me. I've always loved a badass, take no prisoners, speak your mind no matter what female main character with a soft heart hiding behind all the barb, and that my friends is Charlotte King.

The way she stormed into the series, telling Sam to get out of her way. Her face when the woman yelled, "I want Ken's sperm now!" Her "That dead man's swimmers are staying exactly where they are. You got a way to fight me on that? I'd like to see you try." Yes, queen! Her little smirk after she insults Sam's book, absolute Charlotte King at it's core and I am in love with it.

That lawyer also does not love his life. Raising his finger at Charlotte King, you are a brave soul, my dude.

Cooper is such a kid at heart. And I kind of love it, most of the time. That 'I'm just a baby' trend from a while back comes to mind when he acts all goofy.

After my rewatch he is now called Handsome Cooper, lol because when he greets Addison again he asks if she remembers him and says, handsome in such a wholesome 'how could you not, I'm a hottie' way and it kills me. Then him clutching Violet's stuff in the mall, him messing around with the fishing rod, such a boy *insert heart eyes* It also helps that everytime he's great with a kid on-screen I find him a little hotter than before.

Some other fave moments from this ep:

1. "That's a loud deposit." - Sam Bennett said something hilarious, who fucking knew.

2. I still like Pete this season, he also looks hot. Conceited but hot. Thinking Addison came back because of the kiss though, I mean, man bring down the ego a notch or three.

3. Where did Sam's dog go?

4. This interaction:

'How you doing there, Pete? ' -Addison

"Kicking ass and taking names. You? " Pete

"Ass kicking and name taking are on my resume." Addison (Fucking badass!) Also Addison last monologue, brilliant!

5. Eating a whole cake on the floor with your best friend, goals.

6. "Oh my god, when did my knees turn 80?" - Violet (feel you girl)

7. Midwiffery, is that even a word. 😂😂 I remember them joking about it on some interview too, hilarious.

Honourable mention:

The woman who played Violet's first patient did an absolutely phenomenal job, especially in her last scene. So heartbreaking.

episode 31 aka the shortest episode ever but I had a lot of fun pulling stuff from this one :)

also I love when the guys scoop up Davy at the end and tie him to the volleyball poll (a compromising position for him to be in). Mike shouldve pressed his crotch against Davy when he grabbed him from behind 🙄😔

love Mike aggressively manhandling him here, he goes for a full choke... I also think Mike being goofy during the radio show and Davy giggling at everything he says is so fucking cute.

SEASON 2

ep 1 not anything specific to jonesmith I’d say since Davy is kidnapped most of it. I do love Mike's line deliver on "David means business, baby"

ep 8 i love this ep all of the guys are super touchy with each other. I was determined to include every tiny little scene they were in physical contact but it was genuinely too much so i picked my faves (and its still a lot).

Ranking every episode for Jeia

1. Dirty Double Booker - They break my heart in this episode, but also have so many cute moments. Jay trading shifts at work, their kiss, how in the beginning of the ep they’re just holding hands, the bicep scene, Jay’s arm around Leia, Leia trying to make things work with both Jay AND Gwen. There should’ve been Jay/Leia/Gwen triangle srsly. Jay being so understanding about Leia making plans with Gwen. Like I said, the ending breaks my heart so badly.

2. Kids In America - Now THIS one gives me so many emotions. I loved their cute moments in the beginning of this. At first, even as a Jay/Jeia stan, they rubbed me the wrong way because I had this feeling Jay was stringing Leia along but now looking at it, it seems like he’s just cherishing those last few moments. Also Kitty making Jay realize he shouldn’t be scared, him wanting to make things work, the “I will spend every day making it up to you” scene. Like HOW are they not the endgame? Come on people! Also Leia’s face post kiss.

3. Boyfriend Day 1 - I LOVE how Jay stood up for Leia and was hellbent on not letting her take the blame. And that speech to Red 🥹. Giving E/D fr. Also them saying the same things at the same, the phone thing, and their hug: ADORABLE! And don’t even get me STARTED on the ‘bye babe! Aww!’ scene! Literally the cutest ever.

4. Summer Storm - It’s not really my fave, mostly because I’ve watched that episode several times haha. But they were cute here. It was nice seeing Leia wanting to take another step and going to Nikki for relationship advice. Also them dancing at the end 🥰. I wish there were more episodes in s1 so we could see them flourish.

5. The Birthday Girl - THE Jeia episode. Leia’s fantasy for them as Kelly and them going together, Jay coming back to wish her a happy birthday, their first kiss, them FINALLY getting together, and them leaving in the car was nice (before they were pulled over ovo). The one thing I didn’t like tho is how Leia was so willing to change herself just to get with Jay. I’ve explained my feelings on this here.

6. Lip Smackers - I’ve discussed my issues with Leia’s plot but I loved the Jeia here. It really solidified that Jay’s feelings for Leia ARE genuine. Before I just thought it was some comedic joke where it’s ‘haha Jay flirting with the New Girl’ (like what friends did with Rachel/Joey early on), but this episode solidified that it was genuine. And it seemed like this was where Leia started to feel the same way about Jay. Also the car scene is A+, like E/D much?

7. Free Leia - While I think it’s more a Geia episode than a Jeia one, I loved their little moments here.

8. That 90s Pilot - Same as Free Leia. I also loved seeing them walking out together and Red being like ‘WTF’. I can only IMAGINE what would’ve happened if E/D was there. J/L just gave such couple vibes in that scene.

9. The Rave - Also not my fave tbh. Like it was fun seeing them be all chaotic but I hate the end where Leia is ‘playing the player’ and ‘Kelso-ing the Kelso’. And how it’s literally applauded in the end?? Gwen herself said that she was just winging the ‘you’re a goddess, own your power’ and that Leia should go after what she wants. Yet Leia still does this?? I do cut her slack because she 14 and Jay is probably the first guy she likes.

10. Step By Step - I love the angst for them in this episode, but once again the whole ‘playing the player’ bullshit. And the way Leia and Gwen literally LAUGH and are PROUD of Leia basically giving Jay a mental breakdown is disgusting. Which is why I hated making gifs for Geia in that episode.

1. What’s your favourite sims death? Hmmm, 99% of my sims die of old age, but the satellite one has stuck with me since the first time it ever happened to one of my sims I didn’t even know it was possible and I was shooketh.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Omg no what?? I wish we had body diversity in Sims 2.

4. Do you use move objects? It’s almost always on.

5. Favorite mod? Definitely ACR! I love it when my sims do what they think is right lol.

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? Uni!

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE since forever.

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? My model sim Anya.

9. Have you made a simself? Yes, back in elementary school, but it didn’t look anything like me, it was just kinda ‘me’ cause it had my name x)

10. What sim traits do you give yourself? Absent-minded, animal lover, green thumb, artistic and socially awkward.

11. Which is your favorite EA hair color? Blonde?

12. Favorite EA hair? That male one that Tiave Teens has!

13. Favorite life stage? Teen! I just love playing with them and getting to know them as they grow up and fall in love for the first time and all that adorable stuff. But also sneaking out, my fave!!

14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? Both equally! I love building and I love playing and I try to balance those two constantly.

15. Are you a CC creator? As in CC converter, yes!

17. What’s your favorite game? Sims 2 forever! I could never get into Sims 3 because of the aesthetic and Sims 4 is very boring to me.

19. Do you have a YouTube for sims? No, I’m not really a fan of making videos and editing them.

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? Only recently (about 2 years ago) I’ve started playing rotationally and that got me hooked, it’s sooo deep and so much fun!

22. Who’s your favorite CC creator? All of them. I admire anyone who dedicates their time to create/do something nice for this game of ours and I love using everyone’s CC. Those people inspired me to learn how to convert myself!

23. How long have you had a simblr? 11 years! Yep. I was just never active, always lurking and downloading CC. For the longest time I believed I could never learn how to convert stuff because it was too complicated until one day I decided to give it a go and never give up learning and improving.

24. How do you edit your pictures? I explained that in full detail here & here. I also have to thank @microscotch for helping me out with Photoshop to make my screenshots perfect ♥

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? If expansion packs for Sims 2 were still a thing, I’d like an EP where you could become famous and live as a celebrity.

1. What’s your favourite sims death?

Hum, tough one. I guess being struck by lighting is pretty cool, not that I get to see it that often. Also being hit by a satellite, but I’ve literally never seen it happen in my game unless I cheat.

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match?

Alpha, obviously. Although I prefer to call my style ‘semi-realistic’.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight?

I used to, but now I’m like, nah. Let those sims have some meat on their bones!

4. Do you use move objects?

All the time, bruh.

5. Favorite mod?

If I only had to pick one, then Gunmod’s radiance lighting. Picked based on the fact that it’s always the first mod I get whenever I have to reinstall.

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got?

I think it was Nightlife? But my PC from back then was so weak that I couldn’t get the EP to work at all, save for a couple outfits that were randomly showing up in CAS.

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing?

Been pronouncing it ‘aLive mode’ ever since I started simming. I never even knew there was a debate about it until I saw a post on simblr some years ago.

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made?

What, just one? D: I have a bunch of faves, and you can probably tell who they are by the fact that they crop up in every new iteration of my game.

9. Have you made a simself?

Never, nor do I plan to! Having a sim version of myself in the game would just feel weird.

I don’t know them all by heart and I’m too lazy to google 'em, so pass. xD

I wouldn’t say that I necessarily have a favorite, but I noticed a lot of my sims tend to have black hair.

Imma go with hairshortcombed solely based on the fact that I don’t have a burning urge to replace it the second I see it in my game.

Adults, duh. And teens. They’re pretty fun too.

I do a bit of everything, but I definitely lean more towards gameplay, especially since starting my BaCC.

I think it’s gotten more consistent? I’ve been trying to find a balance between realistic and cartoony cc to maintain that elusive ‘semi-realistic’ look that I’m so fond of, and I like to think that I have a pretty good grasp on it now, after so many years of simming.

By offering a blood sacrifice on a full moon. Nah, kidding. No blood is spilled during my editing process, though it does feel that way sometimes, considering how effin' long it takes me to iron out all the small kinks that annoy me about my screenshots. I kinda hoped having a dedicated photoshop action would help, but it only speeds up the process so much, unfortunately. :(

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next?

For Sims 2? Dunno man. Maybe a higher-res remake with all existing EPs/SPs and all known issues ironed out. Which is probably never gonna happen, but a girl can dream, right?

Me watching Dangerous Romance Ep.7:

1. I'm excited! Who's excited? We'll finally know the aftermath of the kiss. I mean, after Kanghan explicitly told Sailom that all he feels for him is guilt, how would he explain the kiss??? 😤😤😤

2. Waaaaait, hold up. Is grandma sick??? Also, Sailom is back in Kang's house eating dinner with the family but the two still seems a whole lot of awkward with each other. 😶

3. Oh, so Kang and Sailom didn't get to talk? Dammit, Guy and Auto. Also, that's no fair, Kang - telling Sailom you don't want to see him with anybody else but still have not retracted the part that all you feel is guilt and pity for him.

4. I almost forgot that they have connected bedrooms via a shared bathroom. Oooh, the possibilities lol 😅😅😅

5. Kang: "Give it to me straight". Me: "He can't. He is gay/bi." 😂😂😂 Yeah, I'll see myself out 😅😅😅

6. I laughed when Kang asked if Sailom wants to be his boyfriend. I mean, really? Really? Just the previous episode you were ready to punch Sailom for breaking Pimfah's heart and has also broke his heart in the process. No apologies? No backsies?? WTF. 😭😤

7. It's awfully quiet back there that if I'm the car driver, I would be suspicious 😂😂😂 Also, look at Kang's smile when Sailom opened the (bathroom) door for him.

8. Okay, Kang being completely honest about his feeling for Sailom is 😭😭😭😭 but his way of flirting is 😅😅😅😅😅 .

Guys, I died laughing. I already ascended to heaven (or descended to hell, am not really fussy about these things lol)

9. On the bright side, having Kang as a boyfriend means Sailom (and his friends) will never be hangry as he kept buying food/feeding Sailom tasty treats lol

(Sidenote: My Grandma did something similar. She went ahead and used a ladder to change a lightbulb in her house but the ladder collapse under her weight and she hit her hip. After that, her hip deteriorated as she did not go to a doctor because she didn't want to 'waste' money. She was never able to regain her ability to walk and had to use a wheelchair until she died.)

12. Lightning striking just as Saifah swearing that he will never manipulate Kang's grandma to buy him things is peak comedy 😂😂😂 Also, yeah I don't trust Saifah. No offence but he hasn't done anything (in this series) that paints him as trustworthy lol

13. I forgot that Sailom's fave dish is grilled fish and veggies. But how did Kang know? Lol. See, told you Kang is treating Sailom's friends like pets 😂😂😂 Ngl though, I would have eaten the snacks and still not trust Kang to pull a prank or two lol

14. Wait, did Pimfah really asked Kang or is that an excuse? Also did they tell Pimfah about what is happening them or did they just let her figure things out? 😑

15. I would ignore the fact that Kang raided Sailom's drawers (without asking, mind) to get that shirt, but focus on his relentless cheesy flirting in a public transportation lol

16. Another sidenote: I cannot believe, not even for a second, that Kang's noodle is NOT spicy. For better or for worse, authentic Thai food is almost always spicy even without the chilis. Lol. Also, not related to the plot or story, if it's available in your local Asian grocery and don't mind spicy food, try the MAMA and MAMA OK instant noodles (esp. the salted egg flavour).

17. Tbf, I don't think it is just the spicy noodles. I doubt Kang has any experience shopping in a crowded public market. I mean, as a kid, my mum also used to drag me to our country's Chinatown market (because that's where all the cheap goods are) to shop and hated every minute of it because of the crowd, the heat, and the smell of wet goods exposed under the hot sun.

18. Auto: "We are not down to earth. We are just dirt poor". Harsh, but extremely accurate lol

Also Auto: We don't mind that (Kang spending money on them). Throw it all you want. We're all for it. Throw it this way. Screw dignity! Keep throwing! Don't hold back! 😂😂😂😂

19. Kang's road to romance is a bit rocky. It's a given that Auto and (more specifically) Guy will have a difficult time trusting Kang after the bullying incident in the first episodes. However, Kang's friends are also bonafide a**holes, even without Kang's prompting. 😅

20. Where is my Guy and Nava ship??? I swear if GMMTV does this like they did TiwPor in MSP (as if an afterthought), I WILL RIOT. 😤😤😤

21. Wait a freaking minute. These are high school students. I'm not saying I was a saint at that age, but I drunk beer in the privacy of my friend's backyard lol. Pretty sure underage drinking in a public place like a bar is illegal even in Asia.

22. It turns out, Auto is the worst kind of drunk lol. Also, I believe Chimon when he said Sailom cannot dance. You'll understand if you have seen an episode of the School Rangers 😂😂😂😂

I do love how Kazu mentions Tsuzuru as a reason to stay at the dorms something something longing for a genuine connection something something Tsuzuru being important to him already

I’m glad Izumi double checked with the parents even when the kids tell her they have permission

i’d forgotten just how endearing Muku’s dad was

it would’ve been interesting to see Kazu and Yuki as roommates

“Savage, but valid!” is actually one of my fave reactions to things

but also something something Kazu being a people pleaser something something letting people walk over him and be “savages” to him because he’d rather take it and say it’s “valid” than to upset someone or rock the boat in any way

i’m glad Izumi made the choice she made but it’s still so funny to me

ngl tho i do wonder if her choice has anything to do with the fact that Sumi just admitted that he has nowhere else to go

honestly i think that, for his first time, Yuki did pretty okay

(Muku was too anxious but still i do appreciate the effort very much)

i love Yuki’s comments and comebacks at Tenma so much this one’s one of my faves

this is an interesting line and i’m so curious about what it says on japanese i know he’s talking about manga, but tbh when you say “comic book hero” i think like Superman (or maybe it’s the MAWS brainrot) and i kinda doubt that’s what Muku meant here?

Chapter 10

is it me or are there… “mkyk could be victims of homophobia” implications here?

also i don’t wanna be a nag but i think Muku should’ve told Izumi about his injury when he first joined, the practice could’ve maybe made it worse and i would HATE to see that happening (trainer brain: on)

Finally I'm doing this tag game! Thanks @insilanar and @c2-eh for the tag 💕 1. Are you named after anyone? My parents says no, but my name isn´t that common here in Portugal, so idk. The funny thing is I know why they chose my middle name. It was chosen by the aunts of my father (that I always treated like my grandparents) and it was the name of a person they worked for. Actually, they wanted my parents to name me after that person, but my mother didn't like the name, so she chose Diana and put the other name as my middle name. I already asked her if she chose Diana because of the princess, but she always says no 🤷‍♀️ 2. When was the last time you cried? I'm a very emotional person. I tear up with everything. I CRIED WATCHING ICE AGE 1. I don't remember the last time I cried sobbing and everything, but just crying I think it was when I watched ep 3 of The Last of Us (I cried more on this episode than all the others). 3. Do you have kids? No. 4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? A bit yes, but only with people I'm comfortable. And I find it easier doing it in Portuguese. I also used to write a blog (in Portuguese) and used it a lot. Sometimes I feel I've lost that ability. Have to start writing again to see. 5. What sports do you play/have played? Nothing 😂 I mean, I played sports in school. I had a mandatory subject called Physical Education. We played football, basketball, handball, voleyball, badminton... I was very bad at everything 🥲 (badminton I wasn't so bad). I loved when we had some step classes. When I finished school, I did pilates, but I think it isn't considered a sport ahahah Now I basically walk a lot.

6. What's the first thing you notice about other people? Oh, I have to think a bit. Accessories (glasses (it's not an accessory, bur oh well), rings, necklaces, earrings...) I think. Don't know why but... Also hands, hands and teeth.

7. Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings. I really don´t like scary movies. 8. Any special talents? Hmmm, I don't think I have any. Crying watching Ice Age 1? 😂 9. Where were you born? Portugal. 10. What are your hobbies? Tumblr 😂, reading, writing (a bit on hiatus), watching things (youtube videos, tv shows, movies, f1...), be with family and friends...

11. Do you have any pets? No, but my sister has 2 cute cats 😊 12. How tall are you? 1.61m. 13. Fave subjects in school? Biology, Music (unfortunately only had 2 years), Portuguese, Arts.

14. Dream Job? I think I'm still trying to find it. Changed jobs to one I could write, but I'm still not totally happy. (I work as a copywriter. I think it's all the advertising thing that is making me meh 😒). 15. Eye colour? Brown (almost black).

First Watch: The Sign notes on the ending episodes

Love this series despite all the plot holes. In fact, it bumped Until We Meet Again off my top 10 faves.

Rewatched ep 10 and 11 to refresh my memory before watching the now-generally-available ep 12.

(With comments in parentheses after watching 12.)

Ep 10 4/4 7:06-7:51 It's unclear whether this is a flashback or Akk's vision. It's early for a flashback that only goes back to ep 10 3/4 and which Akk was not present for, but it doesn't have special color effects the way Tharn's visions do. I'm voting for my original take, it being Akk's vision, though, that Akk has visions that let him see crimes after they've happened, even though I now see it was the blood trail that led him to the thumb drive and not his vision. Someone mentioned the blood trail, and this re-watch I was looking for it and now I see it.

(And after ep 12, it's still a plot hole as to the nature of that scene.)

At 11 1/4 2:33-3:20, we have the scene where Yai tells Akk about Tharn's visions. There is a shocked look in Akk's eyes at 3:20. This would have special significance if Akk indeed has visions as well, with Akk realizing he is not the only one with visions. But if the scene in 10 4/4 were just a flashback, then it's that Akk is having trouble believing what Yai just said.

(Ditto. Still an open question.)

Someone commented on the IDF team examining the scene of the crime without gloves. If Akk believes there's a mole - as he told Tharn in ep 10, it's surprising he would share the contents of the thumb drive with everyone on the team. Then again, if the baddies are willing to kill to get hold of the thumb drive, it might be the safest course for Akk's continued existence.

(And we still don't know who the mole is, if there is indeed one.)

11 1/4 10:22-11:03 Someone commented on Tharn not believing Phaya when Phaya tells Tharn that Chalothorn is the Naga who is trying to keep Phaya and Tharn separated. If Chalothorn has hypnotized Tharn at some point as part of Tharn's therapy, it's quite likely that he would have made a suggestion that Tharn would discount any accusations made against Chalothorn. So I don't think it's a character error, just a plot hole, since we've never seen any of Chalothorn's therapy.

After sleeping on this, I took it off my top 10, restoring Eternal Yesterday. I love this series, but I'm thinking more about its flaws as well.

Not necessarily a factor in my decision, but there are lots of plot holes: Phaya's hospital escape, who are the other cops involved in the crime organization, does Akk have visions, those are the ones that play out.

Loved episode 12, although I felt Tharn being freed by Chalothorn came too easily. Also, how could Tharn have Chalothorn's soul but Chalothorn is still a Naga in the river?

So, not sold on the ending but at least I don't feel betrayed by it the way I felt by the endings of Just Friends and Last Twilight. I acknowledge this may have led me to rate The Sign higher than I otherwise might have rated it.

Oh, well, it was a fun ride and I forgive them their plot holes.

I agree with @bengiyo and @lurkingshan that the series is flawed, but I still loved it.

It would have been great to see a fight to the death between garuda-Phaya and naga-Chalothorn, with garuda-Phaya winning, of course, and thus getting to keep Tharn by his side. But, within the rules of the series' universe, that would still not end things. Chalothorn would simply reincarnate and eventually carry on their battle, likely killing Tharn again and starting the cycle all over again. The only way to end this cycle would be for Chalothorn to change.

So it's a great disappointment that we don't get to see how Tharn brings Chalothorn's change about.
