Stan walked into the school building. Head to breakfast and just get through the day! he thought to himself quickly walking to the cafeteria. Looking around he saw everyone running to each other after the long summer. Henry ran past him shoving him to the side.

September 1, 1989, dear diary! I believe I'm a good person ya know! I believe that there's good in everyone. But here I am first day of senior year! And I look around at these kids I've known all my life and I ask myself. What Happened?

Stan wrote down in a journal. "Freak!" someone yelled. "Slut!" on the other side of the room followed by a "Burnout!" teachers just looked around not caring. "Bugeyes!" a group of people yelled to new years. "Poser!" a girl shouted at another person. "Lardass!" The entire room screamed- all but Stan.

"We were so tiny happy and shiny! Playing tag and getting chased." Stan said walking around. "Freak!"

"Slut!"

"Loser!"

"Singing and clapping! Laughing and napping baking cookies eating paste." Stan said trying to dodge every arm that raised to hug a friend and the bodies not watching where they were going.

"Get away nerd!" he yelled pulling away from Stan.

Richie hissed grabbing Stan by his shirt. "GAh! Nothing!" Stan said quickly walking away.

Mr Smith walked in as they were talking and Victor ran back into the throwing his head over the toilet. "Ah Henry and Patrick," he said as Victor once again threw up. "And Victor. Perhaps you didn't hear the bell over all the vomiting but you're late for class," he said no emotion in his voice. "Victor wasn't feeling well. We're helping him!" Henry scoffed.

Stan was thinking fast and pulled out a pen and paper quickly wrote something down. "Not without a hall pass you're not! Weeks detention!" the teacher scolded. Stan stepped forward and handed the paper to him. "Actually Mr Smith all four of us are out on a hall pass. Training committee." Stan said as the teacher took the note and looked it over. "I see you're all listed. Hurry up and get where you're going!" he shouted leaving the bathroom. Henry looked at the note and smirked.

"This is an excellent forgery. Who are you?!" he asked. "Um, I'm Stanley Uris! I crave a boon." Stan said quickly fear taking over him. "What boon?!" Henry asked walking towards him. "Let me sit at your table for lunch. Just once! No talking necessary! If people think that you tolerate me then they'll leave me alone!" Stan said. The three boys looked at each other and scoffed. "And before you say anything I also do report cards, permission slips, and absence notes," Stan added.

"What about prescriptions?" Victor asked. "Shut up Victor!" Henry yelled. "Sorry Henry," he said quickly and quietly. "For a greasy little nobody, you do have good bone structure," Henry said walking around Stan inspecting him. "And a symmetrical face! if I took a meat cleaver down the centre of your face I'd have matching halves. That's very important." Patrick said causing Stan to become more scared. "of course you could stand to gain a few muscles." Victor said now looking better than before.

"And you know, you know, you know? This could be beautiful. Shaving, maybe some hair gel! And we're on our way. Get this guy some weights and Victor I need some tape. Let's make him beautiful!" Henry smiled as the other two nodded and went to their bags grabbing the stuff Henry said. "Okay?" he asked causing Stan to snap back in reality. "Okay!" he agreed.

"Out of my geek!" Eddie yelled pushing someone aside. "I don't want trouble!" the boy said. Richie walked behind him grabbing his shirt. "You're gonna die at 3 pm!"

"Who's that with Henry?!" Someone yelled causing everyone to look. "Henry, Victor, Patrick! And someone! Henry, Victor, Patrick, and a jock! Henry, Victor, Patrick-" Ben rushed forward gasping at his friend. "Stanley?!" he yelled. "Stanley? Stanley. Stanley!"

Stan rushed forward a huge grin plastered on his face. "And you know! You know! You know Life can be beautiful! You hope you dream you pray and you get your way! Ask me how it feels looking like hell on wheels! My god, it's beautiful! I might be beautiful! And when you're beautiful! It's a beautiful fricken day!" He yelled as Henry wrapped an arm around his new creation proud of what he did.

"Stan?" Ben asked looking shook. "Ben oh this will be so great for us no more being bothered!" tan laughed with Ben. "Well just remember to talk to me." he joked. "Of course. Still on for movie night?" Stan asked. Ben nodded and walked away.

There were three people in the house but somehow every single room and every single corner still felt empty and cold. The sun was shining outside but it seemed like there was a cloud storming up over the house. “Miss. Y/L/N?” He asked, his voice slightly squeaky. You nodded, “I’m Theodore Hood, I’m the Romanov-Rogers’ family Lawyer.” He held out his hand and you shook it letting him in, “I’m here to talk to you about what’s going to happen to the family assets.”

“Okay, please sit down, I’ll go get James.”

“Please do.” He entered the dining room and sat down on the cold wooden chairs of the dining table. You ran upstairs and shook Bucky awake, almost instantly, AJ had woken up too as if they were in sync.

“What? What’s up?” He groggily asked,

“The lawyer’s here.” His eyes opened more as the word ‘lawyer’ slipped from your mouth, he put on a shirt and travelled downstairs with AJ yawning awake in his arms. Both you and Bucky sat down opposite of Theodore who settled with his hands together and stared at the both of you with a serious face.

“Right.” He lifted the suitcase onto the table and clicked it open, taking out a thick pile of paper, “Are you aware of the contents of Natasha and Steve’s will?” You both looked at each other before shaking your head in disagreement. He let out a chuckle and smiled, “You’d be surprised.” He handed you the paper and you situated it in the middle of you both.

1. We revoke all former assets in our name.

2. We appoint, as our executor(s) the Godparents of our child Aaron James Romanov-Rogers, Y/N Y/L/N of Black Street, Apartment 3B, New York City, and James Buchanan Barnes of The Guild Hotel, Room 87, New York City.

3. We give the whole of our estate and earning to Y/N Y/L/N and James Buchanan Barnes.

4. We also leave our child, Aaron James Romanov-Rogers, in the care of Y/N Y/L/N and James Buchanan Barnes.

Naomi had heard of the hydrofoil accident that nearly cost Gordon Tracy his life. She hadn’t been in his life back then, but she still remembered breaking down in tears on her couch when the news displayed the wreck and the photo of Gordon looking spiffing in his WASP issued uniform even with his cheeky grin. She still remembered needing to take the day off work the following day to process. Scott remembered being in New York visiting the aerodynamics division in the Tracy Enterprises when he got the phone call from his dad. He clearly remembered his dad’s first words. It’s Gordon. Solemn. On the verge of tears. Heart shattering. Scott quickly left. He was the closest. And Scott had to be there when Gordon woke up. John had heard the mayday calls from Thunderbird 5 but it was too late for International Rescue to intervene. The hydrofoil had already been destroyed. John put everything else on the back burner and just listened. It was all he could do. Just float in space and listen. He’d heard the rescuers call for an immediate medivac – someone had been found alive. Barely. John doesn’t remember much after that. He doesn’t remember the three separate times that his dad tried to get in contact with him. All John can recall is the deep need for the rescued to be Gordon. Virgil was the only brother on Tracy Island when Jeff Tracy got the call. Virgil remembered it being a calm day rescue wise. Which was good because neither Virgil nor Jeff liked only having two field members on the island. Virgil remember the knock on his bedroom door. It was only one rap. Enough to dislodge him from his concentration. Virgil remembers wanting to give a stern talking to whoever had knocked. But as he looked in his father’s eyes, Virgil dropped his pencil. He was pretty sure that the point snapped but a lot of what followed was blurred by emotions. Alan was pulled out of Science early. It was odd. Nothing had gone wrong and Alan was 87% certain he hadn’t done anything stupid. The headmaster looked sombre when Alan entered. Alan had only ever seen the headmaster angry or the pinnacle of emotionless. He was the one to break the news to Alan that Gordon was in a coma. Gordon was Alan’s closest brother. Scott and John were his heroes. Virgil was the one he’d always go to for advice. Gordon was just more. Gordon was the one who knew how to make him laugh. Gordon was the one who knew how to get in trouble and then somehow escape the punishment. Gordon was the one who’d shown him a lot about the world growing up. Alan didn’t know what to do. The headmaster told him to pack his bags. The headmaster had arranged a car to the airport where he would wait for one of the Tracy planes to arrive. Gordon doesn’t remember the crash at all. He’s pretty sure that, from what he’d been told about the crash, he was high on adrenaline right up until he was rescued. He’s also pretty sure that it wasn’t just him alive. But he can never be sure. Gordon has woken up to nightmares about the crash and his dead crew mates more times than he’d like to admit to himself and to his family. What Gordon does know for certain is the pain and the lack of pain. It was frightening when he was told he’d never would walk again. But it explained why he couldn’t feel anything past his hips. His brothers had taken turns to be with him. Gordon asked Scott about his time in the Air Force – surely Scott knew some miracle stories about people recovering. He didn’t but it did make Gordon feel better hearing about how Scott and his squadron had been grounded after members in the squadron had gotten mumps. John sat there. Then he spoke about how he heard the mayday calls in Thunderbird 5. He spoke about how no matter how rich their family was and how fast International Rescue was, John couldn’t do anything. And then John broke down crying. Gordon had never seen John crack. And it caused him to cry with John. When Virgil came to visit, Virgil just pulled his immediate younger brother into a hug. Virgil gave the best hugs in the family. Maybe it was because he was the middle child. Maybe it was because he was ultimately the strongest of the five brothers which made you feel five times more safer. The two brothers stayed that way for a long time before Virgil let go. Alan just sat there. It was quiet. It was awkward. Gordon didn’t know what to say to comfort his brother. Alan didn’t know what to do. Eventually, Gordon found out how to ease his brothers. Gordon told Scott his fears. Gordon forgave John for doing nothing because it was entirely out of John’s hand what happened. Gordon thanked Virgil. Gordon apologised to Alan. And that’s when the healing processed started.

Even now, almost three years on, the Tracy family was scarred by the hydrofoil crash. Together with the families of the other WASP cadets and Instructors, they were able to get the accident report, and all other documents pertaining to the crash, public giving closure to the families and to Gordon who needed to know the truth. Gordon had agreed to release some of his medical records to go with the report. Everyone involved with the project got a copy of the documents two days before the public got it, giving time for the families to prepare. To give Gordon time to prepare. Gordon, along with Naomi and Scott, were flying to New York the day before the public release so that Gordon could give an interview. Gordon was not looking forward to this but as the only survivor, Gordon felt he had no choice. Someone had to speak up about the findings.

“He’s not ready for this,” Jeff said as he looked at his fourth son leaning on the balcony as he looked at the sea. “I don’t think anyone is truly ready for this Dad,” Scott said, “There is so much that could be revealed in this report. Every single family is afraid that their someone was the cause. Was it one of the navigators who purposely put the hydrofoil off course? Was it one of the pilots who did? We don’t know,” “We will soon,” “I just hope none of the families are ashamed by the report,”

John read his copy of the accident report with a strong cup of coffee in Thunderbird 5. He’d put the ‘bird on automatic relay back to Tracy Island, knowing it would be better to have an alert go off in a crowd of people rather than just him. Alan, home for the summer holidays, decided he didn’t want to read the report knowing full well that he could easily get the summed-up version later. He gave Naomi his tablet to read the report, knowing she would be going nuts not reading it. She sat at the breakfast bar, the bench covered by paper notes, highlighters and her laptop. She was looking for any loopholes and legal stuff. Scott, Jeff and Gordon sat around a coffee table; a bottle of Scotch and three glasses in the centre. Virgil sat on the couch as he flipped through the report. His eyes picking up all the mechanical information. Brains and the Kyrano family didn’t go to the main villa. The Tracy family needed to be alone. At 5pm, the family convened in the control centre. John was present by hologram. Naomi had notes with her, ready to share her findings. Jeff and Virgil knew that the other knew what they knew regarding the hydrofoil. Scott had already drunken to glasses of scotch. Gordon had been tempted to join his oldest brother but knew he needed to be sober for the conversation. Alan was ready to listen to the summary. “So…” Gordon started. “It was a mechanical failure,” Scott finished “100% not any of the cadet crews’ fault,” “Yeah,” Gordon agreed. “That being said, the experienced engineer instructors should have noticed the fault,” Jeff said. “Actually, the engineering instructors weren’t as experienced as they usually are. They were barely older than John,” Naomi said, “Not that age should have anything to do with experience, but the report does say that out of the five instructors, only one of them had been on active duty and the other four had worked for only five years all together,” “Plus, the tail flap was never meant to be that severely tampered with. Anyone that inexperienced would not think to double check and even if they did do a double check, the tampering must have happened after it,” Virgil added. “That’s great,” Gordon scoffed “There’s no security footage in the engine rooms. You’d never know who did,” “True,” Scott agreed “But we can be 80% certain that it wasn’t any of the cadets – you weren’t allowed in the engine room until well after the foil left port. The person who damaged the tail flap had to have done it before the foil left otherwise their plan would have never worked out for them” “Whoever did this, when they’re found can be given a trail in martial court of law but can be given a trial in an everyday court should there be any reason for it,” Naomi said, “There’s 24 possible charges of murder, 1 charge of attempted murder and most probably a sabotage charge as well to be given should we decide,” “They must have been very good with computers. The navigation box is almost as complicated as the one we use of Five. I dread the days I have to do maintenance on it,” John provided the next point of conversation. “Therefore, it’s likely that none of the cadets did it because none of them have any notes in their personal files indicating that they have the skill level required,” Naomi concluded. “And what about the mayday call? I wasn’t the one who made it,” Gordon said “There was someone else alive on the foil. And they died,” This was what John was afraid of. Weeks after the hydrofoil crash, he’d toiled through the audio file of the mayday call trying to match it to any of Gordon’s recent files. There just weren’t any matches. But John had kept denying it to himself. With the release of the report, John had no choice but to admit there had been one other initial survivor. John also knew that if he was beating himself up about that survivor, the personal beat down for Gordon was much worse. “At least they were alive,” Naomi said, “If they hadn’t made the call, I don’t think you would have been in a position to make it when you did wake up. You would be dead,” Naomi had said the one thing that everyone in the room was thinking. Gordon would be dead. He should have died. But he wasn’t. And it made the silence thicker. “I’m going for a walk,” Gordon said. He got up and left the room. Scott started to get up but Virgil grabbed his shoulder. “He needs some space Scott. Right now, none us are in the right position to have a heart to heart with him,” Scott sat back down knowing the middle Tracy brother was right.

Two days later Naomi, Scott and Gordon were in New York. They were there to meet with some of the other families to give an interview about the report. There were only two other people being interviewed besides Scott and Gordon; a young woman in her late 20s who had known Max Singer and Aspen Bartleet and the father of Jack Evans. The four had agreed to meet at the studio. Naomi drove the car as she was going to get her wedding dress but would be back in time for end second half of the interview. Gordon was nervous about meeting his crewmates families. Did they resent him for being alive when their boy was dead? Scott was just as nervous but for a different reason. The Tracy family was powerful. Their name was a brand. Their money was worth everything and nothing at the same time. Scott knew that the media was cruel. He knew that one wrong misstep was going to cost the family. They’d gone from a simple family to basically royalty in the eyes of the public. And everything now mattered. Look good. Say the right things. And whatever you do, don’t make a fool out of yourself. It was matter of reputation that Tracy Enterprises could secretly fund International Rescue. One false move and suddenly, International Rescue may find themselves unable to launch Thunderbird 2. There’s only so much that one can do in these situations. Slowly over the years the oldest three brothers and their father had crafted their media personalities. Jeff, the caring father but strong CEO. Scott, the most responsible but known for his tenancy to have the loudest laugh on set when something funny was said. John the aloof brother; straight to the point whenever he gave a rare interview. Virgil – kind, loving, poetic. Knew when to be played by the hosts and when to play the hosts. Gordon had started to have a form his own personality after the Olympics; flirty, openminded and charming. Scott wasn’t sure that person Gordon was on stage would last during today’s interview. He wasn’t sure his own would either. Naomi dropped the brothers off at the set, promising to be in the wings by the end of the shoot. She gave a comforting hug to Gordon and Scott before getting back into the car and driving to the airport to pick up her dress. An assistant meet Gordon and Scott and showed them to the makeup area where they would be touched up so that the set lights would cause their skin complexion to look pale. Scott needed more than Gordon due to his light skin tone. This was where they meet Ashley Jameson, the friend, and Connor Jacks, the father. There were hugs given. Connor had given Gordon a long and tight bear hug. It was reassuring for Gordon. Then the four were ushered onto the set. There were three two seater couches forming a semi-circle around a coffee table. The hosts were going to be seated in the one to the viewer’s left, the Tracy brothers in the centre and Ashley and Connor on the right. There were quick last-minute touch ups as everyone took their place. The Interview was a live one; millions of Americans would be watching with billions around the world streaming. “In 3. 2. 1,” The director counted down. “Good Morning America!” The male host started “I’m Harry Hines” “And I’m Freya Burnell,” the female host introduced herself “Today is the day of the public release of the accident report of the WASP hydrofoil where 24 men and women lost their lives. Families of the decease and the one survivor had called for an investigation and this is the result of it,” “Today in the studio with have with us Ashley Jameson and Connor Jacks as well as the survivor Gordon Tracy and Gordon’s older brother Scott,” Harry said “Thank you coming in today. We know this must have been a trying time for you and the rest of the families,” “Thanks Harry,” Ashley jumped right in “It was a very hard getting the report but it brings closure for those who lost someone and it also identifies problems and issues that we hope will be fixed so this tragedy doesn’t happen again,” “So, Harry and I have read the report and we have to ask, what are you going to do now? The possibility that one of the experienced crew members caused the crash is very high,” Ashley, Connor and Scott exchanged brief looks before Scott spoke up. “One of my other brother’s fiancée studied criminal law at college and she said the possibility that if it was one of the crewmen and they were still alive, they could face 24 murder charges, a charge for attempted murder and maybe even some sabotage charges,” “It’s very obvious in the report that there is enough evidence to know it was intentional so hopefully it means that we could have had a conviction,” Ashley continued. “What about you Gordon? Being the only survivor of the crash, this report must have been hard,” Harry asked. Gordon looked at him dead in the eye. “I’ve read the report more times than I’d like to. It was hard. But according to the report I didn’t start out being the only survivor. I’m thankful for the person who sent out the mayday. I probably would have died and missed out on so much without it. I also am sorry for the families who see my face and wonder what their sons, daughters, brothers or sisters would have done and seen,” Gordon said “I’m about to be a groomsman at my brother’s wedding. One of my closer crew mates, Le Roy Carter had come back from leave and announced he was getting married. He never got the chance to say I do. A lot won’t get that chance. But now, knowing exactly what happened it’s slightly helped the guilt,” Scott put an arm around Gordon’s shoulder. “What else would you like the report to do?” Freya asked. She looked uncomfortable. “The report has pointed out some flaws in the machine which we as the representatives of the family hope that can be fixed or prevented,” Ashley replied. “I know personally, my family hopes that WASP and other defence groups like the Air Force, Navy and Army will take aboard the recommendations for security,” Scott also answered. “Well thank you for coming in today. We hope that your wishes for the report do happen,” Harry said, “I’m Harry Hines,” “And I’m Freya Burnell and this was Good Morning America!” “And we’re off,” The director called. Freya and Harry quickly got up and their smiles dropped. They rushed off the stage, leaving the two Tracy brothers and Ashley and Connor alone. They too were soon kicked off the stage and onto the wings. Naomi was waiting for them. She pulled Gordon into a silent hug. They just hugged for a few minutes. “You were brave,” She whispered as they let go. The hugs didn’t stop there. Ashley grabbed Gordon’s shoulders to turn him around. “I’m sorry,” She said as she pulled him into a hug. “Let’s go to lunch together – we’ll talk more,” Connor said as the two disengaged the hug. “Good idea,” Scott agreed.

It was one of her days off that the interview happened. Stassia, who was often interested in the affairs of the world, watched it on her laptop. She knew Gordon was going to be on the interview. He’d texted her the night before saying he was a little nervous about it. She had spent most of the night texting back forward about the interview. Stassia just didn’t realise just how emotional the situation was for Gordon. She quickly sent him a text saying she was proud of him. Gordon texted back a quick thanks. Stassia made a quick note to text him that night for a better rundown on his feelings.

Cameron watched the interview. Gordon Tracy hadn’t done much talking. The only time that he did was just talking about the guilt he felt. It almost made Cameron feel guilty about killing everyone else. Almost. His bug had also picked up a change of location from the dress shop in LA to an airport in New York. It heard a voice that the computer recognised as Naomi Winchester. She was taking it back to the island that her fiancé’s family owned. Cameron’s and The Voice’s plans were going just as they had planned.

Gordon had decided to stay a few days in New York while Scott and Naomi headed back to Tracy Island. Naomi had slipped him some paper with a few numbers on it. Gordon could easily guess who they were for; one with a Kansas area code was more than likely Naomi’s old psychiatrist from when she was younger and the one with a Washington DC area code for someone Naomi used to work with. Stassia had a few numbers she also wanted to give Gordon when he was ready for it. Gordon knew it was for the best that he talked to someone. He knew what could possibly happen. His Dad probably wanted the next set of physicals to include a psych eval. He’d be ready for it. Eventually. Gordon’s phone vibrated. It was from Stassia. You want to go for hot chocolate? Gordon smiled. Stassia always knew exactly what to say at the right time.

The Voltrons- Heathers AU- KeithxReader

(A/N: Hey guys! Mod Pidge here! I’m so happy to be beginning this project. Some notes before we begin.

Yes, some characters will be majorly OOC. I tried to fit people as best as I saw fit and possible with their personalities, but due to the fact this is an AU following Heathers: The Musical some characters will have to be OOC. One primary example of this is Shiro as Heather Chandler. I chose Shiro as Heather because of the fact he is a natural born leader and a lot of people look up to him. Due to this, he will be bitchier and sassier than regular Shiro. I am editing and changing lines not only to fit the AU, but to try to fit lines the best way to characters too.

Not every scene will happen the same way as the musical, I am still trying to make this my own story as well. As such and because of reasons also stated above, some characters will have different thoughts and ambitions than their musical counterparts. The overall theme will be the same but some lines will be different (don't worry, “Well fuck me gently with a chainsaw” will be the same ;p)

As seen from the above note this is a MATURE SERIES. Heathers is a musical that deals with teen suicide, bullying, homophobia, gun violence, murder and a very mature scene featuring two characters having sex. While this is done in a comedic way throughout, it still isn’t meant for those who won’t be able to handle it.

PS: Really sorry this first chapter took so long to write, given the fact that Beautiful is an 8 minute song it would naturally take longer to edit, plus I wanted to edit out the parts of her talking to the audience since it wouldn’t make sense in a story like this and had to find a way to replace those information moments. This first chapter alone is 9 pages in Google Docs)

Chapter 1- Beautiful (Y/N) sighed as she woke up. It was the first day of her senior year, and while many would be happy about this, she felt numb and normal. Why? Well, Garrison High wasn’t exactly the best high school. The kids there were just..cruel. (Y/N) walked to school and pulled out her diary as she sat on the stairs to write in it,

“September 1st, 1989. Dear Diary: I believe I'm a good person. Ya know, I think there's good in everyone, but here we are first day of senior year. I look around at all these kids I've known all my life and I ask myself: What happened?” She pondered as she looked up from her diary as kids were walking on, calling out insults to each other as the passed in the hallway,

“Freak! Slut! Burnout! Bug-eyes! Poser! Lard-ass!” They all yelled as (Y/N) shook her head and continued to write, trying her best to remain in her own little world,

“We were so tiny, happy and shiny, playing tag and getting chased.”

“Freak! Slut! Loser! Shortbus!” The yells of her fellow students once again distracted her as she continued writing,

“Singing and clapping, laughing and napping, baking cookies, eating paste.”

“Bull-dyke! Stuck-up! Hunchback!”

“Then we got bigger, That was the trigger, Like the Huns invading Rome” She was about to write more before someone rammed into her on the stairs, despite not being at fault she yelled out, “Sorry!” Before she stood up and started to write now, acting as if she was still writing in her head, “Welcome to my school, This ain't no high school: This is the Thunderdome. Hold your breath and count the days, we're graduating soon.”

“White trash!” Some kids yelled at her as she passed, causing her to sigh internally before continuing (A/N: Sorry if you’re not white I always just interrupted that line as being yelled at Veronica!)

“College will be paradise If I'm not dead by June!” She sighed, before changing her mood and smiling, “But I know, I know, life can be beautiful. I pray, I pray for a better way. If we changed back then, we could change again. We can be beautiful…” She was about to continue internally until she saw a popular shoving someone to the floor, “Just not today.” She finished before running to see the kid who was now on the floor,

“Hey, are you okay?” She asked, offering a hand to help him up, before he helped himself up and yelled in her face,

“Get away, nerd!!” “O-Oh. Okay..” She walked to the cafeteria upset, not understanding why no one around here ever accepted or wanted her help.

“Freak! Slut! Cripple! Homo! Homo! Homo!” The kids in the cafeteria were yelling, causing (Y/N) to roll her eyes at Homo being used as an insult, before she started writing in her diary again as she was waiting in the lunch line,

“Things will get better soon as my letter comes from Harvard, Duke, or Brown. Wake from this coma, take my diploma, then I can blow this town.” She shook her head softly as she continued, “Dream of my ivy-covered walls and smoky French cafes…” Again she was interrupted by someone bumping into her, only this time it was the popular linebacker, Ram Sweeney,

“Watch it!” He yelled at her as (Y/N) breathed through her nose, her anger getting to her more now, “Fight the urge to strike a match and send this dump ablaze!” She was ready to act like nothing happened, until Ram pushed her tray into the air,

“Ooooops.” He said with a smirk as he started to turn around and walk away, until (Y/N) called after him.

“Hey! Stop being such a huge dick!!” She yelled, causing Ram to turn back around and get up close and threateningly to her,

“What did you say to me skank!?” He yelled in her face, causing (Y/N) to flinch scared and back down, “N-Nothing!” “That’s what I thought!” He shoved her slightly again as he walked away and (Y/N) picked up her diary again,

“But I know, I know, I know... Life can be beautiful. I pray, I pray, I pray For a better way. We were kind before; we can be kind once more. We can be beautiful…” She continued before she felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to see her best friend,

“Hunk! Hey!” She hugged him softly,

“We still on for food night?” He asked sofly “Yeah! You’re on recipe detail!” “Great! I found a new recipe for cake pops!” “Again? Haven’t you tried them all by now?” “What can I say? I’m a sucker for things on sticks” (Y/N) was about to giggle and respond before the quarterback and “smartest guy on the football team” came up to them and yelled,

“Hunk Garbagetruck!! Wide load!! Ha ha!” He yelled as he slammed poor Hunk’s tray on the ground, causing (Y/N) to snap,

“Hey! Pick that up right now!” She yelled “I'm sorry, are you actually talking to me?” He tilted his head intimidatingly,

“Yes, I am. I wanna know what gives you the right to pick on my friend? You're a high school has-been waiting to happen. A future gas station attendant!” (Y/N) responded without missing a beat but started to get more nervous as Kurt approached her more

“...You have a zit right there! Ha ha!” He walked off proudly as (Y/N) shook her head and started writing in her diary again

“Dear diary: why.... Why do they hate me? Why don't I fight back? Why does he act like such a creep? Why won't she date him? Why did he hit him? Why do I cry myself to sleep? Somebody hug us! Somebody fix us! Somebody save us! Send us a sign, God! Give us some hope here! Something to live for”

(Y/N) had finished just in time to see all the kids fawning as three people strutted into the room

“And Takashi Shirogane, The Almighty...He is a mythic bitch. They are solid Teflon - never bothered, never harassed. I would give anything to be like that..” She finished her writing as the bell rang, and she followed The Voltrons into the CoEd bathroom. She heard the sound of vomiting, and figured it was probably Pidge. The poor girl had bulimia, and hardly anyone seemed to actually care. (Y/N) hide behind a stall and started writing something as she listened into the conversation that was now happening,

“Grow up, Pidge. Bulimia is so '87.” Shiro called out as he worked on perfecting his eyeliner

“Maybe you should see a doctor, Pidge.” Lance said as he looked sympathetically towards the stall Pidge was in.

“Yeah, Lance. Maybe I should.” She replied weakly. As she replied, a teacher, Ms Allura, walked in,

“Ah, Shiro and Lance.” She started, as the sound of Pidge vomiting erupted again, “... and Pidge. Perhaps you didn't hear the bell over all the vomiting. You're late for class.” She called, as (Y/N) was silently grateful that she had been prepared for this situation, and was ready to come out when the time called for it,

“Pidge wasn't feeling well. We're helping her.” Shiro replied with his arms crossed, causing Allura to chuckle softly, not backing down,

“Not without a hall pass you're not. A week's detention.” She said causing the Voltrons to roll their eyes as Pidge emerged from the stall and (Y/N) came out from her hiding spot,

“Actually, Ms. Allura, all four of us are out on a hall pass. Yearbook committee.” She held out a piece of paper and Ms Allura took it to examine it,

“I see you're all listed. Hurry up and get where you're going.” She said as she started to hand back the hall pass to (Y/N) before Shiro intercepted it to examine it with the rest of the Voltrons behind him,

“This is an excellent forgery. Who are you?” He asked,

“U-Uh (Y/N) (L-L/N). I crave a boon.”

“What boon?” Shiro asked with his arms folded,

“Let me sit at your table at lunch. Just once. No talking necessary.

If people think you guys tolerate me, they'll leave me alone....” (Y/N) started as the Voltrons started to erupt in laughter and walk away before (Y/N) continued with something that grabbed their attention, “Before you answer, I also do report cards, permission slips and absence notes.”

“How about prescriptions?” Pidge asked, stepping out of her position from behind Shiro slightly.

“Shut up, Pidge!”

“Sorry, Shiro…” Pidge got back in her place as Shiro examined (Y/N) who was standing still in front of him, wondering why he was examining her so closely,

“For a greasy little nobody, you do have good bone structure.” He mused, as Lance stepped out of place to join in on it,

“And a symmetrical face. If I took a meat cleaver down the center of your skull,

I'd have matching halves. That's very important.” He said, patting (Y/N)’s back softly as he finished

“Of course, you could stand to lose a few pounds.” Pidge mused as she walked in a small circle around her. Shiro smirked and started singing softly,

“And ya know, ya know, ya know? This could be beautiful. Mascara, maybe some lip gloss, and we're on our way. Get this girl some blush; And Lance, I need your brush. Let's make her beautiful.”

“Let's make her beautiful” Pidge joined in before Lance did too,

“Let's make her beautiful.”

“Make her beautiful... Okay?” Shiro asked, but it wasn’t really a question, and (Y/N) nodded,

“Okay!”

A day passed, and it was now lunch again. Things were going as usual, everyone yelling and insulting and pushing each other, until Ms Allura made an observation,

“Who's that with Shiro?” Everyone’s heads snapped up as they all started watching the door anxiously to get a better look at this mysterious person,

“Whoa! Shiro, Pidge, Lance... And... someone! Shiro, Pidge, Lance... And a babe! Shiro, Pidge, Lance…” They all were confused and were about to state their confusion again until Hunk was able to recognize who this was,

“(Y/N)!?” He exclaimed, shocked that his best friend he’s known his entire life was now drop dead gorgeous. (Y/N) nodded towards him, before she burst into song out of happiness,

“And ya know, ya know, ya know life can be beautiful. You hope, you dream, you pray, and you get your way! Ask me how it feels looking like hell on wheels... My God, it's beautiful! I might be beautiful And when you're beautiful... It's a beautiful frickin' day!”

“Shiro! Pidge! Lance! (Y/N)! Shiro! Pidge! Lance! (Y/N)! (Y/N)! (Y/N)! (Y/N)! (Y/N)!” The kids around them all had started cheering, as (Y/N) was practically jumping up and down in joy. This was the start of a new day, and a new life. Maybe Senior Year wasn’t going to be all that bad.

ok everyone gather round it's time for my end of the year/semester rant!!! it probs won't be very long cuz I'm tired but who knows ok here we go!!! so today I woke up and took a 7:30 am accounting final to try to get an A in the class but ended up with a B+ but it's whatever that class was hard an A was a stretch. then I turned in my huge ass journalism final project, and then finally my Spanish paper. I've been working on that Spanish paper for like 2 weeks and I think it's the worst paper I've ever written, I need an 87 on it to keep my A- so like let's pray I got that but who knows. But anyways I'm DONE with finals and this semester, so I guess I'm officially a junior in college now!!! I'm halfway done wtf isn't that wild??? just yesterday I was starting my freshman year omg time flies so fast. anyways this year was insane. My classes were challenging, my personal life was wild, so much has happened I won't even go into detail. I made so many new friends, went on the trip of a lifetime, I've learned so much about myself and who I am and what I want for my future. I'm sad to leave bc I don't wanna keep growing up, but this summer will be amazing bc I literally leave for Australia in two weeks to study abroad there till late July. I can't wait to be there and make new friends and just be away from everything, it will be a nice change. I'm still going through some things with friendships/~that boy~ so life is eh on that part but I'll be fine. I also am supposed to pack up my room and move back home tomorrow bc I leave next Friday for LA, and I haven't started and it's 1 am so that's nice. And yeah my situation with that boy...who fucking knows what's gonna happen but all I know is I don't want to be in a different country for two months than him and not know what the fuck is going on so hopefully I can talk to him tomorrow/this week before I leave!!!!! but he sucks so probably not!!! anyways this is all me ranting and none of u probably care but it's my wrap up feel free to message me with questions I will probs be more active this summer (not much since I'll be in Australia but every so often). What things make you smile and all warm-fuzzy inside? CATS no seriously, i can have the worst day, but when i walk home and get to pet a cat on the way, i instantly better. i remember coming home after my last final exam all upset and a cat meowing at me and purring and wanting to cuddle with me and i couldn’t help but smile!

What things make you feel a bit sad (don’t push yourself to answer this one)? my current family situation, there’s a bit of drama and fights going on.

What things inspire you to grow? anything and everything, to be honest. there’s new things you experience and learn every single day. things you conquer and master just fine and mistakes you make and all of them shape you into knowing what to do next time a bit more.

The last song(s) that you couldn’t stop listening to? i can’t really think of anything right now, uhhhh, i’ve been listening to the trust me durarara!! ending lately again haha

5. Are you an introvert/extrovert/ambivert? What kind (are you a shy extrovert, super confident introvert, or perhaps a really confused ambivert :0)?: i’m an introvert through and through. i wouldn’t say i’m exceptionally shy nor super confident. i’m somewhere in between. it really depends, around my friends i’m outgoing and cheering and with certain strangers, especially if i know i have to talk with them for literally no longer than 3 minutes right now (i.e. a cashier or someone you walk past) then i’m polite and rather talkative. i just feel exhausted even after spending a lot of time with friends, though the time was enjoyable, but i need my alone time for sure.

What calms you down? the triangle breath! it’s my favorite method to use whenever i feel anxious, upset, angry, or just need to stop and pause for a few minutes. you picture a triangle in your mind (you can even trace it with your finger, or if you can draw it on a piece of paper). you take a breath in through your nose, tracing one side of the triangle. then you breathe out through your mouth, tracing the second and third side of it. other than that, listening to music, taking a nap, petting a cat, watching videos of cats or other cute stuff, sometimes playing a video game.

A character that you really relate to (perhaps you have similar personalities, or maybe you came from similar backgrounds)?: this is gonna sound trashy, but saeyoung choi from mystic messenger and there’s a story behind it too. my friends were playing it way before me and told me “there’s this character that looks just like you, you know nerd glasses, messy red hair, always wearing a baggy black hoodie. he even acts like you, making puns and using memes ALL THE TIME!” and it’s true lmao. also, kaneki ken to some extent? like i really resonate with his personality, the choices he makes, his thoughts speak to me, he’s pretty harsh on himself and goes through ways that are self destructive if he can help others with it.

One thing you love learning? language, it’s just fascinating to me.

Brighton 3-2 Manchester United: Jose Mourinho must right body-language issues

If Manchester City or Liverpool approach fixtures at Brighton with the tactical set-up and collective body language Manchester United did, I will be stunned.

After a defeat in which Paul Pogba said United lacked “hunger”, I am keen not to overreact but some fans will be raging as their side looked like they did not really want to compete.

United were cautious when, with their quality, they should be turning up and for the opening 20 minutes asking: “This is what we have, can you live with us?”

The tactical plan comes from the manager and, putting the result aside, my big concern now is if United’s players are still on board with what he is asking them to do.

‘Subconsciously tuning out’

‘Too many Man Utd players didn’t give their all – and that’s a problem’

Only once in my career did I have a manager where eventually players were at odds with his style.

Lawrie Sanchez wanted a direct, combative approach at Fulham but it became nearly impossible as we didn’t have the personnel to fit the task. Eventually, we had a run of bad results and players lost belief in the demands.

It is not a conscious thing. Players are not sat in the dressing room stating they will not follow the orders, it happens subconsciously and if that creeps in with just a couple of players then the collective performance will inevitably suffer.

Despite all their quality, United were not on the front foot early on and did not really press Brighton high up the pitch at all. The impact is that home players get early touches, grow in confidence and begin to realise they have space so settle down.

We expect to see one of the big sides in the league have at least one 20-minute spell where they stretch and force the lower-ranked outfit to cling on but it never came, there was simply no real urgency from minute one and it gave Brighton a platform they should not have been afforded.

Mourinho’s cautious approach would be fine if you have players who like to defend and sit in but if your personnel are collectively more expressive, they will find it harder to excel.

Forget the result, as anyone can lose on the road in the Premier League, it is the nature of the body language and that lack of early conviction which is a bigger concern and fans will want a reaction because at the Amex – against a side who lost last week – their players just did not look engaged.

Mourinho, as we know, is a far more successful manager and a winner so I am not questioning him but sometimes it is better to not make excuses and just get on with it.

He may well be saying one thing to the press and then telling his players his motive for saying it, but that would be rare. And, to be honest, if his players are hearing the messages in the media then I do think it can create a bit of negativity.

It’s hard to judge the mood of a group of players based on reports but you would have to concede that there’s often not much smoke without fire and too many players looked off it at Brighton.

Lingard a key midfield tweak and defensive questions

The combined touch map of Fred and Andreas Pereira shows both men struggled to make any impact in the final third. The graphic shows United’s play from left to right with only Pereira’s touch for a corner kick registering in the final third. Pereira was taken off at half-time while Fred played the full 90 minutes. Only 11 of Pereira’s 35 passes were made in the Brighton half.

Dale Stephens ran further than any other player on the pitch on Sunday and saw more of the ball than any other Brighton player in his central-midfield role. There were times when he had 20 yards of space despite United using a midfield three of Pogba, Andreas Pereira and Fred.

From Mourinho’s perspective, that should not be happening when you ultimately have better players.

His midfield struggled as a trio and generally their displays were a bit safe and their positioning too predictable. None of them wanted to make positive runs in behind Brighton’s back four, with Pereira and Fred both particularly negative.

Mourinho changed it at half-time and recognised the issue, as good managers do. His side were crying out for Jesse Lingard, who likes to run in behind. When you’re on the ball in midfield, if you have someone making those kind of runs it is so helpful.

Juan Mata and Anthony Martial in wide areas did not threaten the space behind Brighton, and even though there may not have been much of it at times, Lingard is so clever that he is great at mixing his game up and will drop into pockets to get on the ball if needed.

I’m not sure you need Pogba, Fred and Pereira in the same midfield, so there is a balance which will need to be found, and at the back there are some questions to be answered too as the central defenders were a problem.

Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof were given a tough afternoon by Glenn Murray, who was absolutely superb. Mourinho verbalised his desire to sign another central defender and there were links with Leicester’s Harry Maguire but somehow he needs to get more from those he has for now.

It is key to point out that Brighton were collectively and individually superb and when you get both of those together you are in a fine position. The decision-making was bang on, there was a lack of sloppiness and they made the most of their chances. Everything about them was well drilled and solid, a complete contrast to the visitors.

I can understand some United fans may be wound up and concerns may be deepening but when you step back, Mourinho has options aplenty to change things. Ander Herrera could come in and give some steel, Marouane Fellaini could start and of course Alexis Sanchez can return.

Those kind of introductions can quickly see a club like United rattle off four or five wins and the mood changes. Pogba admitted they were found wanting on Sunday so there needs to now be a reaction against Tottenham next time out.

It will be a real test but is a game which may suit United given Spurs have an awful record at Old Trafford.

Much will be said about Mourinho in the week leading up to that outing but I’d be loathed to have big concerns over them in terms of a potentially disastrous season.

The ease with which they went down at Brighton was not good but if they are engaged properly and their body language is righted, United will start getting the most out of a quality squad.
