YALL READY FOR A NEW BATFAM AU

Well actually it's more like a Red Hood, One Piece crossover with sprinkles of Batfam in it.

Important things about this AU

Jason died as he did in canon, but when Dick snapped and killed Joker Bruce didn't resurrect Joker or stop Dick. The Joker that killed Jason is dead. Someone else decided to become Joker and that's where the current Joker came from

When Jaspn was brought back it was because Ra's Al-Ghul decided to use Jason, Talia was solidly against it and actively tried to keep Jason from becoming a weapon

So to start we have a resurrected Jason who is being shielded by Talia. Talia adopted Jason then Damien was born.

Jason is not obsessively rage filled against Bruce. Because Talia both prevented that aspect from taking hold and informed Jason that the Joker that killed him is dead. Jason still doesn't want to approach Bruce, as there are some feelings remaining from the fight they had. But he isn't murderous!

Then the accident happens. Jason was being trained by Talia still so he has the Assassin skills and Robin skills on top of everything else. But it was a break day and Jason was watching a 7 year old Damien when some weird portal opened.

A pair of hands tried to grab Damien but Jason intercepted and got pulled through instead. Damien called Talia and the two began to search

MEANWHILE Jason wakes up on a ship in the middle of the ocean. His head hurts and someone is LAUGHING and he is sitting on something squishy.

Jason accidentally got pulled into the world of One Piece, landing in episode 1 and landing ontop of the pirate Alvira. He knocked her out and the crew were coming to attack.

Jason stands side by side with a man his own age wearing a strawhat, the two fight off the crew and leave.

Jason meets Luffy the two briefly chat, Jason explaining where he was before landing on the Pirate, and Luffy imediatly demanding he joins his future crew.

Jason laughs and initially turns it down. But does offer to stick around because Luffy seems fun.

Luffy takes that as a maybe, and yet move to get Zoro.

Jason only officially joins the crew when they go to Alabasta. Jason had held off on saying yes but just vibes with these crazy people so when they went to free an entire country from a dictator Jason finally tells Luffy "Yes I'll join"

It's during Alabasta that Jason gets a Den Den Mushi and contacts Home

He manages to call Dick by accident, the Den Den Mushi calling Gotham through a toy phone, which gets thus scene

Jason: So I died. Got Body snatched apperantly, dumped into a Pool of Satan tears that resurrected me. It went weird and now I'm in another world, and managed to make a phone call to Gotham via SNAIL. but anyways think you can post bail? Marines are on my ass.

Dick on the other end of end talking through a toy phone: Jason, I'm going to address every thing WRONG with all of that later but right now, I can't post bail. What kind of cuffs?

Jason: Stone, old style shackles.

Dick: Wrist trick. Just dont- a loud Crack over comms and several screams do it without warning... wait do you regenerate? Cause sometimes the Lazarus pit leaves some kind of regen.

Jason, putting his dislocated wrist back into place: Oh yeah. So far I've survive a hole in my chest and my new Captain is literally made of rubber. So like, don't know if it's a Pit thing or a This World thing.

Dick: weird. Anyways I assume this is a "Don't tell Bruce deal?"

Jason: Depends. Is Joker dead?

Dick: I killed him last week but some other idiot took over so the guy who killed you is dead.

Jason: Yeah, wait till I get a good Bounty poster to you first then break the news.

Dick: I LEFT YOU ALONE FOR HOW LONG AND YOU BECAME A CRIMINAL?!

Jason: FUCK OFF IM KILLING DICTATORS LIKE YOU CARE ABOUT THAT.

Dick: Ok fair. Just leave some for me.

Jason: no promises.

Sanji is just any other guy for Nami? What B.S....

There was a time where people thought Nami hated Sanji🙄(some still do🤦🏻‍♂️), there was also a time where people admitted she does not hate him but they said she couldn’t care less🙃. It stuck to me for a while because all I thought is “Bullshit...”.

So, as a SaNami shipper, I was skimming through some arcs that may contain some moments or just simple things that I may have to consider.

And let me say.... I am intrigued to say the least.

Skypiea:

I know some might say: “Well he took the huge blow for both of them so of course Nami would worry about him first”.... true but remember Ussop got shocked twice as well. Not to mention Enel beat the crap out of Ussop to the point he couldn’t move, and all of that in front of Nami. But as we can see she was a bit more concerned about one than the other. (I used “a bit” cuz I know she cares about Ussop, I’m a fan of OP to begin with so I am well-aware)

Dressrosa:

She was just screaming to get the help from Law, but once they appeared she was only concerned about one. And once again, I know some people’s argument would be: “Sanji is a member of the crew, it is only natural for her to do that”. Once again true and sure whatever. But what I want highlight here is Oda choosing Nami for Sanji and Brook for Law. Why? This might make sense in the one I will mention later...

WCI (1):

Once again here we have another strawhat member calling out Luffy (Chopper) this time but who was already with Luffy and saw how beat up he was while rushing through danger is concerned about Sanji first and foremost.....

If you are not having it, then that is fine by me... it is already in the manga. I dont need to say anything now do I?

WCI (2):

Ok.... People say that after Pudding came and took Sanji they considered her as an ally. And we saw, yea she did help in baking the cake. But once again like in Dressrosa, Brook is happy to see BOTH Sanji and Pudding, but with Nami it is a different story. As we saw, both Sanji and Pudding baked the cake and delivered it at the last moment, and Nami was happy about that but more so about him arriving in the nick of time rather than the cake.

Now these are the moments that I didn’t even need to explain as they are pretty straightforward. But there are some other moments that are not so clear, so I am only going to mention them but always take them with a grain of salt.... nothing wrong with being honest.

I am trying my best not to make any reaches, because I know those put people off... including me.

Enies Lobby:

In this moment, she knew from the note and from the very first thing Sanji says in the call that Ussop is also there. But instead of saying “Will they be ok?” she is concerned about him specifically. He did say that thanks to the two idiots (Ussop and Franky) that things got complicated, Ussop is in danger too I am just saying

Zou:

Now why do I think that this moment is very important to consider and should not be overlooked soo easily? Think about it.... have we been in this kind of situation before? Where Nami is told to head to safety or she looks for one by herself? Lets see:

-Luffy told her to go back to the ship because a battle will break out and it will be safer for her to back up. She does that and does not look back.

-With Zoro he didnt even have to say anything😂, she was already gone. No need to tell her anything.

-To help Camie she immediately took herself out of the picture, because that is Nami. She is always looking out for her own safety.

-In Fishman Island, after she completed her task, she stayed close to the ship and once Franky said he had a weapon she jumped right inside of it because it is safer than being outside.

-In Dressrosa, even though there is no safe place per say, but protecting the ship had the least risk (at the time😅) and therefore she is apart of that team. Because it was the safest option.

So when Sanji told her to stay back because he wanted her safety, all of the sudden “She got curious” in other translations she says “she got worried” but it doesnt matter either which.....

Putting herself in danger after being in a safe place is soo un-Nami-like. It is weird but that is why I am taking it with a grain of salt, there might be other moments that I forgot to mention but that is the premise of my assumption...

We already saw time and time again that Nami considers Luffy, Zoro and Sanji to be monsters.

We already saw the times where Sanji uses his brain and is more of an intellectual than the other two, and she is there to see that.

I already showcased in one of my other posts about how Nami does not treat Sanji like Luffy and Zoro pretty much all the time except for some instances.

So if Nami knows that Sanji is powerful, smart, capable and dependable.... why did she get “curious” or “worried”?

“If you must,” Sabo replied, sounding the exact opposite of beleaguered as he discretely wiped the spit off his palm. Ace cleared his throat.

“Put on your gloves.”

Ace refused, refused to look away from the devious delight spreading across Sabo's stupid face.

“Oh Ace,” he purred, those damn fucking gloves appearing in his hands out of nowhere (did he have them tucked in his pockets this entire time?). With deliberate motions, Sabo smoothed the leather over every finger, and flexed, like he was about to whip out one of his ryusoken moves. “Are you sure you just want me to jerk off in these?”

“Well if you've got any lube tucked away,” Ace shot back, “now's the time to pull it out, put on a good show.”

Sabo's consequent exhale was nowhere near the flippant-and-suave chuckle he had clearly been aiming for. Smugly, Ace counted a point in his own favor before dropping onto his back and finally—finally—undoing his pants. As his own belt fell with heavy thumps to both sides, Ace brushed aside all the pesky cloth, and applied pressure in earnest with a sigh of pleasure.

And boy was it a view. The gloves were incredibly well-worn, molded so tightly to Sabo that Ace could see the full articulation of his fingers' every curve, every bend. The buttery leather, lighter in color at the fingertips, glided over Sabo with the barest whisper of friction. Ace could see his grip change, pressure shifting as he held himself tighter and tighter, grunting in frustration.

“Can I take these off?” Sabo finally requested with a hint of a whine. Ace suddenly thought of Marco, and how he might smirk at that tone, if he was here. “It's not working for me.”

“It's working fine for me,” Ace did his best to leer, thoroughly enjoying his own bare hand's capacity for friction. Sabo made another sound of protest, and Ace gave in with a snort. “Fine. Just one hand.”

“It's all I need.” The right glove disappeared as fast as it came, and Sabo arched high and satisfied into his own hand, now skin-to-skin. He obligingly let the gloved hand remain in play though, skimming teasingly up and down, grinning sharply at Ace's open mouth. “Hey,” he ordered, “go faster.”

AND THIS!

“Anything you want,” was Ace's breathless answer. He didn't stop, even sped up, gripping hard and fast and chasing that finale. “You can have it from me.”

“I would chain you down,” Sabo snarled, practically a threat, only the blade was turned wholly inward toward himself. Like he was daring Ace to give him absolution. “I would bend you 'til you're ready to break, and keep you there for hours. I would make you beg for release, but deny you anyways. I would see your skin dark with my bruises, I would, I would—”

Ace's hands twisted hard against his binds, wanting genuinely to be free of them for the first time since they started this—and Sabo's reaction was instantaneous. A flex of haki into his fingers, and Sabo was slicing through the leather of his belt, letting Ace loose with an expression of terror.

And Ace dragged himself across the bed until he could cup Sabo's cheek in his clean palm and pull Sabo into a biting, filthy kiss. He was still hard as sin, and thrust forward into Sabo's hands to let him know—

“Anything,” he panted into Sabo's mouth, meaning it with every fiber of his being. He didn't mean for Sabo to cut open the belt; he had just wanted, so badly, to feel Sabo's touch. “You have me.”
