Oh my goodness scared Venti has now been living in my head rent free. I’m just imagining him clinging to reader and when reader asks if he’s scared, despite shaking like a leaf, he just goes “N-NO!” But he’s cuddling reader that night not letting them go

Honestly though, watching one of those psychological thrillers instead of just the cheesy gorey stuff, him putting on his bravest carefree face during the movie itself, thankful when it's over but not expecting the fact that he now jumps at every little sound in the middle of the night, quite literally unable to close his eyes as his body is just on high alert

And how on earth can you sleep so soundly after that!? Without the paranoia that comes with jumping at every little thing he never noticed in the daylight

And of course he doesn't want to wake you, it's just childish to behave like this when he's supposed to protect you, obviously he's relatively certain that if there was an actual problem he be able to deal with it, but something about that lingering fear...

Then imagine he does finally fall asleep, an incredibly restless sleep plagued with unpleasant things, jolting up in the middle of the night sweating and half shaking

It would be worse if it was one of those nightmares he frequently had about something happening to you, something he couldn't prevent

Of course he's immediately clinging to you, allowing himself to indulge in the fact that you are alive and well beside him, and if his shaking happens to wake you up, and if you happen to wrap your arms around him and whisper soft words of comfort in that half asleep voice he'd kill for, well...

Just taking care of Venti when he's feeling vulnerable 💕, giving him all the love and comfort he deserves and him absorbing it all gratefully

Something i’ve been working on for a while now, a slight redesign of Birb’s hypothetical EX form! (also he’s 5′10, forgot to put his height lol)

While not exactly ‘canon’ to him, it’s still a fun idea/design to play around with!

He’s got extra aaaarms!!! Great for hugging :3c

His little arms, while they may ‘malfunction’ from time to time, it doesn’t actually harm him in any way; it mostly just causes a bit of unintentional mischief.

Examples: Tangling around himself/others, ‘powering down’ at inconvenient times (making him have to drag them along the ground), or being a bit wiggly! Sometimes it seems like they have a mind of their own!

you don't think you've ever seen wyll be this happy as when he kisses you back, one hand caressing the front of your stomach, where your future child will eventually be, like he's already anticipating it, desiring this as much as he did that first night you kissed under the stars.
