was thinking about this post of jackie wearing shauna’s flannel after she finds out shauna slept with jeff. i was thinking about this and i was thinking about how jackie is so furious at shauna and feels so betrayed by her but still cant help but instinctively seek comfort in her. and even when jackie tries to shut shauna out and force herself to move on, it all still comes back to shauna anyway because why else would she look over her shoulder and make sure shauna sees her walk off with travis? the more jackie tries to make it not about shauna the more it IS about shauna (and of course the more shauna tries to make jeff not about jackie, the more it IS about jackie) and shauna is so deeply embedded in jackie that even after the ultimate betrayal jackie still cant help but reach for her, whether for comfort/familiarity (flannel) or to try to hurt her (by sleeping with travis) or even just to get her attention (again, sleeping with travis) but either way she’s still literally physically and emotionally incapable of not reaching for shauna. so anyway i was thinking about this and then it was making me soooo unwell so i decided to inflict it on all of you so you can think about it too

Dungeons and Daddies the Manga on break next week!
Hi everyone! I’m very sorry to announce that Dungeons and Daddies the Manga will need to take a short break on account of family business. It’s happy business though, my sister is getting married!!! The wedding is out of town, and afterwards my other sisters are going to be coming to stay with me a couple days and it just isn’t going to be possible for me to get the pages done for my usual week after the episode deadline. Hopefully the Lesson 39 pages will be able to drop on August 16th, but this return date is tentative.
Sorry again, enjoy tomorrow’s episode!

That one gifset got me thinking, so what's your opinion on Buck wearing pink? I've noticed he's worn it most around the Diaz boys, but never around a canon love interest 👀
Honestly, pink seems to be about conflict and family? Obviously, the first example anyone will think of Buck in pink is the tsunami. Which is a major family moment since it's canonically the moment Buck realizes exactly how much and in which way he loves Chris but it does ultimately lead to a near-death experience.
But other moments he's wearing pink are: May's graduation party and the moments we see him talking there, he's with Chris and apologizing to Bobby about the train, so he's with his kid and clearing the air with his father figure (wonder if the pink and yellow combo for Buck and Chris means something tho).
Also, Buck talking Eddie down after the skateboard thing and Chris calling him a liar, so parenting issue.
When he's talking to Albert about Veronica and accepting there's nothing he can do about it. Considering Jee, Albert is family in a more traditional way, they are bound by a blood relative, so family.
When Chim comes to tell him about the accident with Jee and why Maddie ran and finds out Buck knew and Chim is for all intents and purposes is his brother-in-law.
So, from the knowledge I gathered by putting the whole show in 12x speed to find every instance he's wearing green, I would reasonably say pink is his conflict in the family color.

I understand merch is expensive, she is an artist, all artist merch is expensive but I feel people complain about Taylor’s more than others.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. I do think it’s expensive and the quality varies widely BUT I also think it’s market price and quality. I agree that other artists have similarly priced merch and it’s not always great quality. There’s definitely a trend of calling Taylor a capitalist and connecting everything back to that, as if she doesn’t profit off her very own handmade art. Now, UMG is profiting off someone else’s art, but they have her permission to do so. I think that overall, UMG’s merch department is not run well and is not fan-focused which is difficult for us because we are so accustomed to Taylor putting the fans first always. I will say that UMG has changed their return policy from the Lover days so now you can return something just because you don’t like it at no charge. You used to have to pay for return shipping which often was 10-20% of the item price, so you would end up paying like $15 and have no item to show for it. I also think the designs have improved. The quality is definitely hit or miss in my experience, but the return policy and ease of canceling items before they ship has improved my experience. But the prices are comparable to other companies/artists/etc from what I’ve seen.

I can’t stop thinking about this. Like why would you even think about rudely interrupting someone who’s with their partner and friends to ask them incredibly invasive questions? Imagine if you were at dinner and a complete stranger just walked up and bombarded you with intensely personal questions.
