Chapter 6 part 4 liveblog and summary (Tower 3 part 2 + episodes 68-79)

I have no idea what to put here, let’s just get going.

Warning for spoilers and possible mistranslations

Azul and Riddle prepare to set out from the hanger, with Azul offering to carry the Thunder Spear as Riddle’s underling, so as to leave Riddle free to protect him. Riddle is annoyed at Azul’s misunderstanding; what Riddle’s trying to protect is not Azul, but the rules. The transformation potion that Azul uses has to be specially prescribed and can be only dispensed by those with a certain license. Because of how drastically it alters the body, a lot of care must be taken in regards to treating injuries, so much so that medical treatment by unqualified people is forbidden. Therefore, if Azul got injured here, Riddle would have to violate the rules to help him.

Azul bursts out laughing at Riddle’s absurd reasoning for his behavior towards Azul this whole time. Then, after a phantom appears and is quickly taken care of, Riddle asks Azul if the potion’s effects can ever suddenly cut out. Azul says no. In the past, the time limit for this type of potion was 3 days, but thanks to advances in technology it has increased to 7-10 days. Floyd sometimes forgets to take the potion, so his fins and webbing will start appearing. AZUL IMITATING FLOYD IS SO CUTE FDHFHDFLHDSF-

Anyway, Riddle says that having to take the potion seems inconvenient. Azul agrees, but continues on to say that they’ve received support from an large organization dedicated to supporting merpeople who want to live on land, from stuff like teaching them how to live on land to footing the bill for the expensive transformation potions. When Azul first heard of this organization he was suspicious, but once he concluded that they don’t have anything shady going on he gladly submitted an application for them once he decided to go to NRC. Azul says that the organization’s goal seems to be to spread the wish of their founder, a mermaid princess who came to the Sunshine Lands long ago, for more merpeople to venture onto land. After a bit more conversation about history and that country relationship with merpeople, the duo reach the next asylum.

In the asylum, they find a researcher whose ID card was stolen by a small, beast-like phantom. Riddle wonders if it might be Grim, and the duo go to search for the ID card. While going through cages, Riddle proposes opening a package of food to see if it will lure Grim to them, but it just lures a phantom. So, once that’s taken care of, Azul eats the food instead.

When they find a cage where the creature inside sounds like a cat sharpening its claws, Riddle says that there was one time that Grim sharpened his claws on a sofa in the Heartslabyul lounge, so Riddle offed his head. Once the cage is opened, it turns out that it is a phantom that stole the ID card.

After the duo continues on their way, Azul becomes exhausted from all the stairs so Riddle takes over carrying the spear. When Azul asks if he can handle both the spear and fights, Riddle reminds him of all the time he’s spent improving his own magic. Azul asks when he started honing his magic, and Riddle says at age 3. BRUH WHAT THE HELL I”M GONNA FIGHT RIDDLE’S MOM. Before entering NRC, Riddle attended a private school. In response to Azul asking if Riddle ever skipped a grade, Riddle said it wasn’t possible at that school, and his parents didn’t see a point in it anyway since the minimum age for becoming a doctor in the Queendom of Roses is age 24. However, Riddle is uncertain if he wants to become a doctor, since he has gained an interest in a pursuing a career related to the law.

Azul then advises him to just be greedy and get all the certifications he’s interested in, since it’d be a waste to just get one when he’s so talented. He also says that it’s convenient... no, reassuring for him to have qualified friends that he can rely on in emergencies. Riddle asks if they’re friends, since he isn’t very knowledgeable on the rules of friendship, but... And then a phantom ambushes them from above and Azul fucking yeets both himself and Riddle to the side of the screen to avoid it dsfllhgdlsfsd

After the fight, Riddle gets mad at Azul surprising him, and Azul apologizes for his octopus survival instincts kicking in and making him do something undignified. Riddle is puzzled by how used Azul seems to life-and-death situations and asks him how dangerous daily life under the sea is. Azul says that it is more dangerous than life on land, but with magic and knowledge of how to properly deal with the various threats down there it’s not that bad.

Azul started learning magic at age 8. His grandmother and mother, who are mages, taught him the basics, but just enough that he could finish homework. Azul’s further self-study of magic actually didn’t start until middle school. After explaining that, Azul frantically asks Riddle to keep it a secret and he’s aware that he grew up spoiled. Riddle is just confused, but Azul plows on regretting the years he spent doing nothing useful with himself. However, Riddle says that if Azul had studied from a very young age like Riddle did, he likely wouldn’t have the ambition or vitality that he does now. They have some light banter about who will end up as top of the class by the time they graduate before arriving at the final asylum. AAAAAAAAA I love the character interactions in this update SO MUCH.

When they enter, it’s pitch black. Riddle goes to cast some magic to light up their vicinity, but Azul stops him since it might give away their location to enemies. Instead, they start searching for the security box in the dark, but Riddle cries out when he steps in some slippery liquid. Riddle decides to use magic to make his cape bigger and use it as a tent so he can cast light magic without lighting up the whole room. Once they can see, they identify the liquid as blot. There is also a belt on the floor, one used by STYX staff to hold their ID card. This one doesn’t have an ID card though. Riddle says they should search for the light switch, but Azul proposes that they search for the phantom who stole the ID card in the dark, since he’s used to the dark and they can more easily ambush enemies like this. Cue another 10 minutes of phantom fighting.

As soon as they find the ID card, the Titan starts banging on the entrance to the asylum. Like the other groups did, the duo hurriedly ready up the Thunder Spear and blast the Titan away. Afterwards, Riddle is exhausted from all the magical power he’s used so fa. They make their way to the next hanger, where they both immediately collapse in exhaustion. Azul reflects on how unbelievable it is that his board game club senpai would turn out to be like this. Riddle asks if it hurts Azul at all to have to fight against him, and Azul replies that sacrifices are necessary to achieve his dreams, so it doesn’t bother him much. He starts to explain his dreams, but he falls asleep on Riddle.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW ADORABLE

Like the other groups, this part ends with them getting woken up by a loud noise at 30% battery for the Thunder Spear and rushing off to investigate. And with that, time to finally reach the underworld!

For episode 68, we go back to the Pomefiore group, who are here:

Leona, Riddle, and a STYX employee from the control room call VIl over the transceiver. The employee reports that the gate to the underworld has started to open and the concentration of blot is rising. The staff have regained control of some chariots, and they’ve sent one to each of the groups to help them move faster.

After they start using the chariots, the group sees something coming out of the gate. It’s.... IDIA!!!

BRUH HOLY SHIT I saw some of it from spoilery thumbnails but seeing it all animated is something else. OMG I LOVE THE TALKING ANIMATION WITH THE MASK.

He quickly rambles on about how amazing and powerful he feels now that he’s overblotted, then...

Game, Set, Match... Gate To The Underworld

WTF IS THAT HIS UNIQUE MAGIC? WHAT THE HELL UNIQUE MAGIC IS THAT???

OKAY HERE WE GO

THAT’S ORTHO!?!?!?!? HOLY SHIT

Apparently Ortho is connected to Idia and is acting as his phantom, so yay my theory about the overblot was at least partially right. Ortho explains that his friends in the underworld helped nurture his “curse” into a “blessing” which let him become big and strong by burning blot. Then... uh holy shit are these phantoms talking a part of him? Is his body made out of OTHER PHANTOMS??? As Rook and Vil also express their shock, Epel points out Ortho’s shoulder, and

WHAT THE FUCK GRIM IS BEING ASSIMILATED INTO THE BODY? BRUH HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK GIVE GRIM BACK

The staff trying to close the hatch start getting attacked by phantoms too alright let us fight!! Riddle commands Vil and Leona’s groups to go and help while he and Azul try and distract Idia and Ortho to buy them time.

We then scene change to Azul getting mad at Riddle for taking on the most dangerous job for themselves. Riddle tells Azul to take charge of steering the chariot since he doesn’t know how, and Azul gets even more upset cause he has no idea how either. It takes Ortho climbing up the walls of Tartarus for them to start acting.

Oh my god I love how freaky and alien-like the design looks. OH AND THE ANIMTIONS WITH ORTHO PUNCHING THEM OOOOOO AD THE CABLES CONNECTING IDIA AND ORTHO AND IDIA’S FALMES BRIEFLY TURNIGN ORANGE BEFORE SOME ATTACKS IT’S SO COOL

After the battle (gameplay wise) ends, Riddle and Azul use their Thunder Spear on Idia and Ortho. Ortho cries out in pain and woAH

oh my GOD THIS IS THE COOLEST FUCKING OVERBLOT DESIGN HANDS DOWN I LOVE THIS

WAIT RIDDLE WTF Did his hair all turn white from overexerting himself or something what the hell?!? And then he faints. Okay no, Idia explains that this is what happens when living humans come to close to the underworld... Which is now the kanji that Idia gives Ortho. Holy shit what does that mean, how powerful is Ortho now? Holy shit.

Azul quickly calls the other two groups to warn them about Ortho’s ability to suck your life energy and make you turn old before he takes Riddle and retreats on the chariot. The scene switches to Jamil and Leona, who have used their time to clear out the other phantoms. Ortho has now climbed up to them, so time for Jamil and Leona to have their go at the Shroud bros.

Okay thank god Leona’s not trying to use that thing by himself again lol

Ortho again cries out in pain. With their job done, Leona gets in touch with Vil and the control room to report in and banter with Vil a bit before he and Jamil retreat.

Next, we actually stay right there as Idia frantically checks to see if Ortho is okay. Ortho says he’s okay, but he can’t move as well as before. They’re frustrated about the Thunder Spears, but Ortho reassures Idia that they can’t lose as long as they’re together. The phantoms in Ortho’s body rejoice about being free soon and Grim moans about rocks before Idia and Ortho continue on their way.

Then we finally go back to the player and the Pomefiore trio. The staff have charged up their Thunder Spear to 80%. Rook tells them to make their way to a safe area, then Vil summarizes the situation and what they have to do. Rook asks the control room how progress on the Cerberos system is going, and the staff reports that all their attempts to get into it have been thwarted by Ortho. So the plan is for Vil’s group to beat the Shroud brothers and force Idia to do what they want.

Ortho then approaches, and Epel asks them to leave the handling of the chariot to him. Once they approach, Idia asks them if they’re trying to play hero, but Vil says that there are no heroes or villains here, just people on the same level trying to assert their will and achieve their dreams.

The one who will stand on the stage until the end... is me!

Then the battle starts and HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT FIRE ATTACK DAMNNNN I LOVE THAT!

At the end, warning screens pop up around Ortho and the Pomefiore trio launch the Thunder Spear while Ortho’s distracted. Then, I think Ortho falls down? And then Idia suddenly un-overblots okay yeah Ortho’s down for the count. His body starts falling apart, and the group quickly swoops down to rescue Grim. Grim also quickly breaks out of his weird blot trance. OUR BOY’S BACK YEAAAAAHHHHHH

Ortho laments not being able to become Idia’s hero before he finally starts falling for good. Wait oh shit Idia and Grim are still attach to Ortho so they’re falling too. VIl quickly goes to save them, leaving Rook and Epel behind to yell for him.

Before we can resolve that situation we gotta watch sad black and white Idia backstory dump. Okay I’m pretty sure someone’s translated this thing by now so I’m not gonna try. OH MY GOD BABY SHROUD BROS ACK mY HEART Wait “adventure” oh god I have a bad feeling about this OH NO OH NO OH GOD OH NO DID IDIA SEE ORTHO DIE??? OH GOD nOOOOO IDIA OH MY HEART also where the fuck are his parents why is it just employees here OH MY GOD THE ROBOT ORTHO AND IDIA GOING FORM LAUGHING AT HIS SUCCESS TO SOBBING I CAN’T HOLY SHIT

The flashback thing ends then and

Idia wakes up now I guess and uh. what the hell is that voice. uh. Okay yeah no I saw the thumbnails, I can’t pretend I don’t already know.

lmao hello Vil. Having fun there?

He had to jump into the underworld to save Idia and Grim and NOOOOOO HE COULDN’T SAVE ORTHO.

I am glad though that Vil still thinks he’s beautiful even if he got old, yay character development!

Anyway, Idia admits his defeat and closes the underworld again using his unique magic. AAAAAAAAAA THAT SOFT FAREWELL TO ORTHO

They back their way back to fix up the Cerberos system and meet up with the Tower 2 & 3 groups. Vil has a bit of trouble walking cause his boots don’t fit very well now. Azul advises Vil to go to a doctor asap, and Riddle wakes up. However, Grim is unconscious now. Rook checks Grim’s breathing and heart rate, but notices something hard around his throat. Something is stuck in his throat and they have to hit his chest to get it out. After a few hits, Grim coughs out some rocks and wakes up. NOOOO DON’T CRY GRIM IT WASN’T YOUR FAULT EVERYTHING’S FINE YOU CAN COME BACK TO RAMSHACKLE!!!

The control room staff call in. Apparently the Lethe River program has been deleted by Ortho. Ortho really did a number on their system. The group gets on some chariots to go back to school. Bruh if Vil still gonna be like this when they get back to the school? I really wanna see people’s reactions.

Vil says he’ll see Idia back there, and Idia mildly panics cause everyone will still have their memories of the kidnapping stuff and he doesn’t think he can go back. However, Epel yells at him to take responsibility and fix the mess he caused, and the others all agree and pile on more responsibilities for him. He seems to relent... but as soon as the others are gone he starts ranting about how he definitely can’t go back cause how are the other students going to react when they still have their memories? The thought of the memories makes him stop and think about how everything’s going to work out now that they can’t rely on the Lethe River. He thinks about Ortho again and gets sad, before shaking it off and preparing to head back to STYX. However, he notices the stuff that Grim coughed up and is startled by what it is, since with it, he can...!

And of course it cuts out there to go to the next episode lol. I think that’s a good a time as any to call it a day and finish up the remainder of the update tomorrow. Seriously, this update is over 6 hours worth of story what the hell. You couldn’t split it up a little? Alright anyway bye

I feel like theres a weird habit in media to like, try and make it where every non-human or every fantasy society is infinitely better in terms of technology or morals, and I kinda hate it.

Like, mermaid/underwater societies often being vegetarian and extremely ecofriendly. Alien societies being utopias or infinitely more advanced than human spacefaring ones. Fantasy worlds having settings where each culture is different, and all the flaws in society are put onto a few cultures or making a few particularly bad and the flaws in other countries arent systematic

I kinda want to see more where societies tend to all have different flaws and responses to technology. Like, i always find it more interesting when a settings like "every part of this setting has its big flaws, and technology isnt a straight advancement"

I love shit where theyre like "yeah theres still economic and social inequality in this fantasy world, knights and nobles are shining beacons".

"Yeah this country has some advance seafaring and farming techniques, but also are in an iron poor enviornment and live in a cold enviornment so their equipment doesnr have the same focuses"

"Yeah this country is the enemy of the main characters country, but it doesnt mean either of them are right or one is innately evil. Theyre both flawed countries with problematic elements in culture and structure and the problem is one is invading the other"

I think ironically a couple of my favorite examples of this are popular things that did it, but ended up hyper simplified. Predator literally portrays the idea of a species evolved with a particular set of senses, where they need technological help to see on most worlds and their technology is built around their cultures views of combat and hunting. Star Wars has at times leaned into the idea of the Republic having flaws of economically ignoring planets and turning a blind eye to oppressive behaivor on economic producers, but has never been able to properly explore the idea a new third option is needed without putting this flaws on the influence of the Emperor

GENERAL SPINDLE WARLDBUIDLING?

spindle lives in a coastal town with a lot of rivers/waterways into town so mermaids can visit there are a lot of floating markets with basic local items. up the coast is a larger trade/merchant town with fancier products where he lives, there are mostly humans and mermaids the god in spindle's region is Ta Uvium, god of change. there are temples dedicated to it even religious people rarely hear ta uvium's voice. they interpret signs in how certain things change because they're always on the lookout for differences, those that follow ta uvium are good at seeing patterns and spotting small changes they also tend to interpret the world as fluid and dynamic, and are more adaptable in general people Become ta uvium, and their identity changes relatively frequently (double digits of years) as such, holidays and important events move around a lot there are other gods across the regions but spindle doesn't know much about them i can't remember if mentioned how technologically advanced they are

Some thoughts on how *I* would like to see future seasons of Our Flag Means Death.

Season two:

Wracked by the guilt of leaving the crew behind, Blackbeard orders that the ship be turned around. May or may not be a montage of good times Ed has had with each member of the crew to the tune of close to you from the carpenters.

Izzy of course has things to say about this. Ed throws him overboard.

The ship arrives just as Stede and the crew fish Lucius out of the water. He's a little waterlogged and dehydrated, as they all are, but unharmed.

They all board the ship and decide where to go from there. Silly gay pirate adventures ensue from there, while being hunted by the vengeful Izzy the entire time. Along the way, they pick up a few new family members. I will accept no less than two lesbians, a canonically asexual person, and an abandoned preteen so they may collectively teach them that they are loved and accepted exactly as they are. Also, at least one gay mermaid with a love interest on the ship.

The season finale is confronting the parents of the child to heal the kid and Ed's personal trauma regarding his own father. At the end, Ed is haunted by nightmares of the kraken yet again, like the memory of it drug up something dark. He wakes screaming next to Stede, though it's actually not a dream and the Kraken is attacking the ship.

Season 3:

The crew miraculously survives, probably saved by the mermaid love interest of the crew member and their colony of mermaids.They swear revenge on the kraken. Stede also just wants to have the most fantastical pirate adventure and Ed can't say no to that face.

They spend the season tracking down Blackbeard's previous ship and reclaiming it. Of course bc we're doing all the crazy pirate myths, they have to reclaim it from Davy Jones' Locker. Still, Izzy follows and bests them at the last moment, now the captain of Blackbeard's prior ship and a literal skeleton crew.

And every season that follows is them legitimately chasing down fantastical pirate adventures and sea myths. Ensnared by sirens? Check. Find the lost city of Atlantis? Check. Just go through the whole list. I'm not well versed on non-western ocean folklore I'd love to see them tackle the myths and legends of other cultures. All the while, they're trying to either fix up the small vessel they managed to commandeer, or find a beefier ship. Idk, maybe the folks in Atlantis help them out and they have way cool technologically advanced upgrades. So they take on the kraken, take down Izzy and reclaim Queen Anne's Revenge.

The entire show would of course feature misunderstandings but healthy communication and love at all facets. A personal request for another side romance of a plus size queer afab person who is desired by many and their various entanglements with various crew members.

So what now?

In the series finale, Ed seems tired. They're all getting older and they're a little tired and worn out. Stede notices and pushes for him to take a break. So Ed, Stede, and the crew find an island and have a little vacation. Maybe it's the island they encountered prior with the island people where they marooned the ship? Only, the vacation doesn't end. The whole crew comes together and builds a community within the island people. They all have one final adventure and fake their deaths, destroy the ship. And they all live happily ever after.

Cut to Lucius finishing writing in a book and a montage of him going about getting the book published. The end.

Her snark was always quite funny, especially early on. I also love how she just...outright attacked Avalon and literally roasted the entire club and shattered everything around her. All because of some conspiracy theories

least favorite thing about them

The season 5 plotline about her and Timmy going dating, when the show pretented they never were on a single real date before. They were and it was even a source of conflict earlier, because Timmy was too focused on their shared interests to see that Tecna wanted something more. And then she needed dating advice from the other girls, yikes. I hate when they turn a character into a klutz regarding romance or styling when they had no such problems beforehand

(while picking out the ugliest dress Stella has in her closet) How about this one? You'll surely leave a lasting impression like this.

With Digit I guess? I like that unlike the other Pixies and their bonded Winx the two of them just get along and that she's so helpful to Tecna (Amore and Lockette are too but they're way too cutesy sometimes)

Despite the writing taking a dive I really enjoy her and Timmy together, because hey, it's a relationship built on shared interests (more than any other in the show)

I prefer the comics depiction of Zenith over the one in the show. Even with her royal dad. I just like that they're comfortable with their use of technology, being technologically advanced doesn't have to mean that they can't connect with other people

Her getting physical with the villains. I loved how she, when they realized their Believix powers were subpar for underwater fights, swam up to Tritannus and kicked him in the face. You go girl! I bet she would have tried the same with Valtor if only he had let her.

least favorite thing about them

The shows writing when she wanted to get revenge on the Wizards of the Black Circle for causing Nabu's death. Her and the other Winx splitting up, for a laughably short time at that, and them being like "Nuh, revenge is evil! Don't be consumed by hatred!" As if Bloom wouldn't have ripped Valtor's still beating heart out of his chest. I understood them not going for outright murder when the wizards apparently gave up and asked for protection, but like, that was a trick. It cost one of their friends his life. And they killed their villains before. So killing is okay, unless you're too angry while doing it?

Nabu: Didn't you forget the magic word?

Aisha: Or I'll shatter you with all the power that's at my disposal!

random headcanon

When she was younger she frequently visited the mermaid side of her family (if they were family back then, the writing is subpar in this regard) The atmosphere with Queen Ligea, Tressa and the twins was less strict than in Aisha's own palace, and she became an excellent swimmer while spending time with them (better than the usual Andros citizen)

unpopular opinion

Aisha was completely justified in using her Sirenix wish to save her cousin instead of giving Nabu his life back. I love Nabu as much as the next guy, but he was dead and Nereus was dying. It would have been incredibly cold of Aisha to let him die, even though she had the power to help him. Not to mention the immense guilt hse would have felt for being unable to save another person she cared about, and this time choosing not to do so as well. Nabu probably wouldn't have liked being brought back on the cost of Aisha sacrificing another life either

Zane is the son of the oh so famous Dr. Julien, the royal inventor, but the King (ice elemental from the elemental alliance) takes a liking to Zane, and adopts him when Dr. Julien dies

Now Zane is the prince woo

The King also takes a liking to the ice emperor, but that was a mistake, because he sneakily kills the king and takes the throne for himself

“Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the coldest of them all?”

It’s Zane

So IE tells Vex to go kill Zane, but Vex doesn’t actually know how to kill a nindroid so he just tells him to run into the forest

That’s where Zane meets the 7 dwarves

Hungry (Cole) Chatty (Jay) Confused (teen Wu) Flirty (Kai) Grumpy (Morro) Happy (Echo) and Sleepy (Lloyd)

Later he meets P.I.X.A.L. who immediately catches his heart

The IE finds out that Zane is still alive, and decides that since Vex didn’t help him, he was going to have to kill Zane himself

He disguises himself and goes into the forest

He gives Zane an apple that gives him a fatal virus, but Zane doesn’t realize it’s bad so he dies (wow shocker)

Then the IE falls off a cliff

The 7 dwarves hold a small funeral and invite P.I.X.A.L.

P.I.X.A.L. realizes that Zane isn’t dead dead, so she kisses him and he comes back to life

They go back to the kingdom and Zane is crowned king, and P.I.X.A.L is queen. The dwarves are advisors

Then they all live happily ever after the end

Echo

Dr. Julien didn’t want Zane to know he was building a little brother for him, because he was getting sick, and thought he was going to die soon, and he didn’t want Zane to be sad at his brother and his father not being around

So he struck up a deal with Samukai the Skeleton

Samukai would give him a private place to build Echo, and a potion to help him get better if Samukai got to keep Echo

Not having much of an option, Dr. Julien agreed, hoping that Echo and Zane would find each other on their own

Echo was built and Samukai kept him in a lighthouse

Dr. Julien tells Zane of his missing brother

Events of Snow White (seen above) ensue and now Zane is king yay

Morro is a wanted thief and while getting away, he runs into what he thinks is an abandoned lighthouse

Only to find a rusty nindroid

Echo explains he’s always wanted to see the real world but he never got to

Morro sneaks him out and they head to the kingdom to celebrate the king’s birthday

Echo realizes that he’s the king’s brother, and he a Morro go back to ask Samukai questions

Samukai does an exposition dump, and stabs Morro, before Morro simply blows him away

Morro dies but he’s a ghost so it’s okay

They return to the kingdom and Echo FINALLY meets Zane

Morro and Echo start dating

Then they all live happily ever after the end

The Little Mermaid

Jay was always fascinated with little toys he found from human shipwrecks

He would often go on and on about what he thought they were all used for

His father may have been King Cliff, but Jay was practically raised by Ed and Edna, who taught him about the human world

His mom is dead rip

He goes to the surface and finds Nya, who he immediately falls in love with

He stays hidden, but sings Nya a little song

The ship almost wrecks, but Jay saves Nya. She’s barely waking up to his song again before he swims off. She wants to know who that voice was

Jay finds a locket with Nya and her brother in it, and he wants to take it to Nya, so he tells his dad

His dad isn’t happy that Jay fell in love with a human

After another fight with his father, Jay goes off and gets lost, but is found by Nadakhan

Nadakhan says he can make Jay human, all he has to do is wish, and Jay gets 3 wishes total. After the third wish, Nadakhan gets something of Jay’s

Jay’s first wish is to be human, his second is that he won’t be able to speak because he wants to save his 3rd wish

Nadakhan grants Jay’s wishes and Jay goes to learn to become human. He gives the locket to Nya

Nya tells him about her brother’s romantic escapades (see below) but she also tells him that she has to get married soon or she might not be able to support her career in technological advancement

She has her sights (or rather ears) set on the lovely voice she heard that night, but Jay can’t tell her that that was him

They meet Nadakhan who has come to get Jay’s third wish, but Jay won’t use it

Nadakhan says that if Jay doesn’t use his third wish by sundown the next day, he was going to kill Nya

Nadakhan uses magic to sound like Jay, and Nya has to marry him (she’s under a spell)

The next day, Jay still hasn’t made his third wish by sundown and Nya starts dying

Jay wishes her to stay alive, and says even if Nadakhan takes his legs and he never gets to see Nya again, he’ll be fine, just as long as she lives

Nadakhan grants the wish, but the spell on Nya fades away and she falls in love with Jay

I don’t know what to do with Nadakhan, I think I’ll have him just take the boat and leave

Then they all live happily ever after the end

Flirty and the Beast

Kai is the biggest flirt in their village

Everyone knows he’s just a blacksmith who likes fighting, but men and women alike can’t get enough of his flirtatious exploits

Though he’s never actually known what real love is. He also wants to go out on an adventure, but the closest he’s ever gotten was books

One day, Nya wants to take her samurai x project to ninjago city, and Kai tells her to have fun

While Cryptor (literally couldn’t find a better villain please work with me) is trying to get Kai to date him, Kai receives a message from Nya that she’s in trouble

Kai runs off to try and save her and that’s when he finds out that Nya’s been taken prisoner by an anacondrai looking person

She introduces herself as Skylor, and she says she’ll let Nya go if Kai stays with her

Kai agrees and Nya goes back to their village to get help

Nya tells Cryptor about Kai, and he just laughs it off, because Nya’s a women, and all women are crazy, but he decides that if Nya is going crazy, he could hold it against Kai

But he can’t find Kai

Back at Skylor’s mansion castle, Kai gets curious and finds the staff making Skylor a snake

After she scares him, he runs into the woods and is attacked by wolves, but Skylor saves him

They star falling in love after that

Kai asks Skylor if he could visit Nya, and Skylor reluctantly lets him go for good, thinking he might like that most

Kai also tells them of Skylor, finally realizing he loves her, and Cryptor decides to get rid of her, because “if I can’t have Kai, no one can”

They fight

After stopping Cryptor (Nya was able to shut him off) Kai shucking finally kisses Skylor and she turns into a Normal human

Wanting to help Kai go on and adventure, Skylor takes him, and Nya on a trip to visit a beach (queue previous story)

then they live happily ever after the end

Noir locks

Cole never wanted to sing and dance, but he loved watching the lumberjacks

One day he followed them out to a part of the woods he was unfamiliar with

He explores a bit more and finds a house. There seems to be fresh food, he didn’t eat breakfast and was starving, so he sneaks in

There’s cake

After eating the vanilla cake instead of the chocolate or strawberry, Cole decides to take a nap. He woke up super early to catch the lumberjacks, and walking for so long made him exhausted

He finds the most luxurious bed he’s ever slept in

He’s woken up to a high pitched scream

He sees an ivory and gold colored bear and starts screaming too

Two more bears come up the stairs

After they all calm down, the bears introduced themselves as Vania, Seliel, and Kataru

Kataru says his sister is usually here as well but she was out doing something else

Cole asks what the heck is going on and why there were talking bears sleeping in beds and eating cake

Vania explains that her father cursed her and Seliel, and Kataru was just a bear formling

Cole decides to see if he can do anything about it, so Vania leads him to her fathers mine

Cole try’s to reason with Vangelis, but the king won’t have it

Vania explains that Cole needs to shave Vangelis’s beard because that’s where he stores his magic

Cole does, but Vania and Seliel are still bears

Vangelis later explains that his magic is actually from a magic skull and he just tells people that it’s in his beard because he wants to throw them off

Cole tries to steal the skull, and Vangelis catches him and turns Cole into a bear

After fighting Vangelis and ultimately getting the skull, Cole runs off

He takes the skull back to Kataru who destroys it

Vania, Cole and Seliel turn back

Not having any real magic anymore, and just being a horrible person, Vangelis is knocked off the throne and Vania takes over

Then they all live happily ever after the end

Summary: Hange Zoe, princess of Eldia, is even more curious about the outside world after meeting Levi Ackerman.

A/N: This is the updated version of chapter 1! I hope y’all love it! This is the start of the Disney Series I’m writing.

Prologue:

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a powerful nation called Eldia. Eldia was an island nation located in the Atlantic Ocean. The closest countries are present-day Spain, Portugal, Ireland, and France. It was filled with luscious flora, unique animals and had advanced technology for its time. It also had good relations with the neighboring countries. Overall, it was a prosperous nation in all aspects.

Eldia was a mighty nation, ruled by none other than Karl Fritz. He was a kind king that many Eldians loved. He was a very knowledgeable leader, and he even created a powerful army that could wipe out a nation. However, due to a mysterious meteor, Eldia had sunk to the bottom of the ocean.

No one knew what exactly happened to the island. The land had suddenly disappeared after the disaster as if it never existed. Nowadays, Eldia only exists in children's storybooks and urban legends.

Some brave men did try to find the island itself to find any treasure. Those who left came back empty-handed or not at all. It is rumored that those men were currently lost at sea or dead.

Some claimed the cause of the men's disappearance was a storm. Others claim it could be mermaids, people who are half-human, half-fish. No one believed the mermaid idea, though. They thought it was a crazy claim since no one had actually seen a mermaid. Everyone believed the men who saw "mermaids" were too drunk and must have mistaken a random animal.

Whatever the case may be, no one will ever know.

Many Years Later

"Legends say that Eldia does exist today, but it is hiding deep in the ocean. The inhabitants, now as mermaids, are currently waiting for someone from the land so they can live together in peace. Only the bravest soul of all souls can find the lost kingdom." The woman reading the story closed the book and sat it on top of a nearby shelf. She moved carefully enough to not wake up her sleeping daughter on her left side.

"Mermaids don't exist." The 8-year-old boy on her right side stated to his mom.

The boy, Levi Ackerman, was the prince of Paradis (located in France), heir to the throne, and the only son of Kuchel Ackerman.

Levi was listening to his mother tell him a bedtime story with his 2-year-old sister, Mikasa. She was exhausted from the day's activities and fell asleep a few minutes during her mother's story.

Kuchel smiled at her son. "And how do you know that, Levi?"

The boy furrowed his eyebrows, thinking long and hard about his answer. "Because my tutor told me so!" he exclaimed with stars in his eyes.

Kuchel chuckles at her son's statement. She knew those eyes well because Levi uses them when he knows he got the correct answer.

Kuchel let out a quiet laugh and shifted Mikasa to sleep on her chest. Kuchel holds Mikasa with one arm. "Yes, but have you actually seen a mermaid?"

Levi was silent before letting out a quiet no. Kuchel laughed at her son again and ruffled his hair with her free hand.

"Well, seeing is believing, so I can see why your tutor thinks that."

Levi looked at his mother with innocent eyes. "Do you believe in mermaids, Maman?"

Kuchel smiled. "Of course I do. You know, your grandfather once spotted one before as a young boy. He used to tell me about how beautiful they were and how colorful their tails were." She looked out of the tall bedroom window with a hopeful look in her eyes.

"I want to see what my father saw in them too." Kuchel whispered and stared off at a distance for a few seconds before realizing her son was staring at her. She cleared her throat.

"I'm sorry about that. I was off in my own little world." Kuchel dismissed with a slight wave.

She stepped away from Levi and stood up to put Mikasa at the foot of Levi's king-size bed for a bit. She goes back to Levi, who was tucked under his blanket waiting for his mother's goodnight kiss. Kuchel used her free arm to push Levi's hair away from his forehead and kiss his forehead.

"Goodnight, mon ange. Let's explore the seas one day, so we see a mermaid. It will help you believe in them." Kuchel pulled away to look at Levi.

Levi smiled. "We can bring Mikasa and Uncle Kenny too!" he whispered with excitement, so he does not wake up his sister.

Kuchel smiled. Her brother was currently away to handle some international affairs for Paradis. He was the original heir to the throne, but he declined it, claiming that Kuchel was better suited for it instead. Kenny now acted as a diplomat and an unofficial bodyguard for his sister and her kids.

Kuchel nodded her head. "Of course, we can bring them too."

Levi took his right arm out from under his blanket and stuck his pinky out. "Pinky promise?" He asked, wanting his whole family to be by his side if he ever sees a mermaid in real life.

Kuchel hooked her pinky with Levi's and smiled. "Pinky promise."

Little did Levi know, the day he meets a mermaid for the first time, his mother would be the only one in his family absent.

Present-day

The kingdom of Eldia was ruled now by King Erwin, a descendant of the original King. However, he is not a human, but half instead. After the meteor hit Eldia, only a few survived, including the King's daughter, Ymir. Ymir became queen after her father died years after the fall of Eldia. The Fritz family took a toll after the island sank. They lost most resources, and their body changed thanks to the processes of natural selection evolution. As a result, they grew gills to breathe underwater, their voices changed to lure in prey, and their legs morphed into colorful tails to help them swim. The only things they kept from Eldia were the top part of their body and the language. It was similar to their neighboring countries, with some differences in dialect. The island has been in underwater isolation after all.

King Erwin inherited the throne as a teenager after a pirate ship had killed both his parents years ago during a family outing on the surface. Only he and his seven sisters survived.

Erwin's sisters (in order) included Hange, the intelligent one. Nanaba, the calm one. Rico, the serious one. Lynne, the empathetic one. Ilse, the devoted one. Petra, the kind one. Finally, there's Nifa, the adorable one.

All of his sisters were talented singers. In fact, he and his siblings used to hold little shows for their parents until they passed away. Erwin would conduct, and his sisters would sing. The family did this for many years, and it became a tradition for Erwin to hold a performance every 2 months in honor of the late King and queen.

Erwin loved both his sisters and his kingdom dearly. However, he often worries about Hange the most. Hange always skips out on important events to focus on anything else. She was always a curious child, and no one could stop her. Surprisingly enough, she never missed a performance since she was the star of the show.

Erwin noticed when Hange first became fascinated with everything outside Eldia. It had all started when she was a child and found a music box that once belonged to a human ship. She kept it to study and was so fascinated by it that she decided to learn more about the human world. Erwin constantly worries that his dear sister would run into a human one day and suffer the same fate as their parents. Nevertheless, Erwin was determined to never let that happen to his family ever again.

If only he could find her for this month's performance for this month.

(I think somebody already did this, but this is my own version)

Reynie: Basic bitch gets a basic power. Telekinesis.

Sticky: Creation (Okay, I wanted to give him something like invisibility, but he would be an absolute badass with Momo’s quirk. For all the non-MHA fans, Creation allows someone to create anything, as long as they know the chemical composition of it- ie have it memorized)

Kate: Super speed. (And she sometimes accidentally uses it while talking.)

Constance: She already has one. Telepathy.

Adults!

Benedict: Pyromancy (Okay, I know this one seems a bit random, but trust me. Just imagine it.)

Milligan: Power-cancellation. (Dad man gets a dad power. Imagine the kids getting all rowdy with their powers and he just looks at them and they all stop.)

Rhonda: Mermaid (I had a really hard time with this one, but I think this fits. H2O just add water style where she turns into one when she touches water or something. Also I rlly love Mermaid!Rhonda)

Number 2: Technokinesis. (And she sometimes accidentally zaps people when her blood sugar’s low.)

Bad dudes (except for SQ)

Curtain: Hydrokinesis. (See! It all comes together. They’re inverses of each other- Benedict is warm and kind, Curtain is cold and cruel. Also, that’s why his dam technology is so advanced- he literally knows water inside out.)

Martina: Doesn’t have one. That’s why she’s so bitter, and so desperate for approval.

SQ: Healing. However, he gains any injuries he heals on others. (I’m sorry!)

McCracken: Super strength. P self explanatory.

Winx Club - Sirenix

The time has come for Sirenix. However, I'm completely changing the look because the official Sirenix designs are UGLY. I also decided to have the girls be mermaids and that Sirenix is a special form that can only be gained through a difficult journey and all that jazz. They swim faster than regular mermaids and they have full control of their powers underwater (Since I have Tecna and Bloom not able to use their powers underwater because of how fire and technology don't really mix well with water) and new abilities. I'm basing the designs off of their Mermaidix (Lazy name) forms from some magazine or picture book or whatever and their Harmonix designs, while giving it my own personal touch. And they still have wings because the mermaids on Winx Club have wings apparently. Why do they? I have no idea but it looks cool anyway and I guess can help them move faster underwater. Also, NO CGI animation for the Infinite Ocean because of how CGI is hard to edit and more importantly, the CGI in Winx Club is HIDEOUS.

Also, in my version, once their mission to defeat The Trix and stop them from taking over the entire universe (Again lol), they lose their Sirenix powers forever because of how it is an ancient power that no one should be allowed to have and all that crap.

Tecna

Tecna was A LOT of fun to do, especially since we don't see a lot of plus-sized mermaids. Unlike the other girls, I didn't use her Harmonix hairstyle because I felt her Bloomix hair felt more like a mermaid and under the sea, especially with the highlights. So far, this is the BEST look she's had. A lot of sharp angles and triangles, which feels very intergalactic and technologically advanced, which suits Tecna. It was a challenge to do a mermaid with a technology themed look because of how electronics and water do NOT mix, but it makes her look unique and a lot of fun. I also had a long sheer garment thingy so flow around in the water or whatever because of her having short hair (And we're keeping her short hair) and because it just looks awesome!

Musa

I had a lot of fun with Musa, especially because of the hair, which is gorgeous. Her wings/fins are so beautiful and really adds to the tail. I don't have much to say with her, other than I really love her design. I feel bad for never having much to say about Musa fanart because of how she's my second favorite Winx Club girl after Layla. I put just as much effort into her as I do the other girls but I don't have much to say. She just looks so gorgeous, amazing, and perfect!

Layla

I was the most excited to work on Layla's Sirenix because of how her powers are water based, which means that Sirenix should enhance her powers even more compared to the other girls. It's also why unlike the other girls, she has sparkles. I had her embrace the mermaid aesthetic the most out of all the girls with a seashell bra, glowing material, pearls, and her tail even has a wave pattern on it. I wanted to make sure that her Sirenix was the best one out of all the girls because of her water powers and I think I accomplished that goal.

Flora

Flora's Sirenix was a lot of fun to do because of how her nature-based powers really lends itself to the plant life of the underwater world like sea flowers and seaweed. I even added a flower petal pattern on her tail. She looks so gorgeous and I'm really loving how the Sirenix forms allows me to play with the way their hair looks because of how they are underwater. I don't have much else to say other than she's just so gorgeous.

Stella

I'm willing to bet you guys are shocked to see Stella in a transformation without her signature color, orange. Well, the reason for that is because her powers are NOT just the sun but also the moon. I figured since Sirenix is water-based that her look should embrace Stella's moon powers a lot more than her sun powers because of the connection between the sea and the moon. I even gave her a starfish bra and gave her a pattern of stars on her tail to add to this. She also has a moon pendant on her necklace. I used pretty much just light blue and silver for this and I really love how she turned out.

Bloom

I finally got to Bloom and I was really excited to work on her because her hair is GORGEOUS and because of how Sirenix is water-themed and her powers are fire, so that made it more interesting. I based her tail and top off of lava because of how the ocean does have lava/volcanos of sorts. I also changed the color of her wings/fins because of how the blue didn't go with the look and it looks more fiery now. It still has a hint of blue in the wings/fins if you look really closely. I also included some blue accessories because of both the sea and how fire still does have that hint of blue.

Plumbobble Head’s Sims 3 LEPacy Challenge!

So I’ve had the Sims 3 for over a decade now, and in that time I’ve only really played with the Elgars... UNTIL NOW.

While I love my Elgars, there are so many aspects of the game I’ve never even touched, so I’m starting a new LEPacy challenge with specific gameplay goals for each pack! There are eleven EPs in total, which makes for twelve (!!) fun-filled generations! 🥳

🏠 One: Base Game

In the beginning there was a Sim... Her name was Isadora Plumb and she had just moved out on her own to Sunset Valley! Isadora’s lifetime wish is to befriend the whole town and become Super Popular. Her spouse must be an EA townie, and they must have a base game lifetime wish that I’ve never played. To earn a living she’ll join the Journalism career (one I’ve never tried!) and max the writing skill. I’ve also never played with a mooch or a kleptomaniac so Isadora is both!

✈️ Two: World Adventures

For generation two the family will move to Riverview, a world I’ve already played in, but we won’t be spending much time there because this generation is all about adventure! The heir will have the adventurous trait and either the Great Explorer or Seasoned Traveler lifetime wish. They must reach a high enough visa level to purchase a vacation home in one or more of the three worlds. The heir must have at least two children with a foreign sim (or sims!). They must also max the martial arts and photography skills.

🛠️ Three: Ambitions

The Ambitions gen is so *ambitious* it’s played with two co-heirs! They both move to a shared property in Twinbrook, where they will get matching tattoos to celebrate their new-found independence. Heir A will have the ambitious and eco-friendly traits and their lifetime wish will correspond with one of the Ambitions professions that I’ve not yet played through. Heir B will have the eccentric trait and Descendant of da Vinci ltw. They will register as self-employed in one of the skill careers and can earn a secondary income by selling things at the consignment store. This heir can only have children via the time machine (but a child of either of the gen three co-heirs can become heir for generation four).

🌆 Four: Late Night

After three generations stuck in the suburbs, this generation takes place under the bright lights of Bridgeport! The generation four heir is blessed with the star quality trait and wants to pursue fame and fortune in the big city. They can choose any of the EP’s lifetime wishes, but must reach level 5 celebrity status. They will live in a penthouse apartment and hire a butler to see to their every need. But life in the public eye means the heir is always at risk of becoming publicly disgraced... especially because they will have multiple romances! Someone in the family must also be a vampire (although it doesn’t have to be the heir).

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Five: Generations*

After growing up in the big city this generation’s heir wants a quieter life in Aurora Skies with the large, loving family they never had. The heir must have the family oriented and/or nurturing traits and the Surrounded by Family ltw. As per their lifetime wish, they must have at least five children... but will they be a strict or indulgent parent? At least one of their children will have their imaginary friend become real, and at least one of their children must attend boarding school.

*(EP does not come with new lifetime wishes or a new world)

🐾 Six: Pets

For generation six we’re off to Appaloosa Plains to live off the land! The heir - whether they be male, female or otherwise inclined - is unfortunately a horse girl. They must have the equestrian trait and Jockey ltw and must also max the riding skill. They and their spouse must not pursue traditional careers, but can support themselves by “farming”. This means gardening and possibly nectar making, but there’s some Store content that could work well here too. Every good farm has a cat and dog, which can be trained in hunting to sniff out collectibles for extra income!

🎤 Seven: Showtime

This generation’s heir grew up in the country but dreams of stardom in Starlight Shores! They have the natural born performer trait and their lifetime wish is to reach the top of one of the acrobat, magician, or singer professions. Like their great-grandparent, the heir must become a level 5 celebrity. But in spite of their fame the heir feels that something is still missing in their lives. Perhaps a genie will be able to make all their wishes come true...

🧙 Eight: Supernatural

Childhood memories of magical genie wishes have inspired the heir to move to Moonlight Falls in search of the supernatural! They must have the supernatural fan trait and become an occult sim (by whatever means necessary). Their spouse must also be an occult, but a different type to the heir. The heir must max the alchemy skill, but can choose any of the EP’s lifetime wishes. They will be so busy with their extraordinary magical life that there is no time for mundane things like housework... luckily Bonehilda is on hand to sort it out!

🍂 Nine: Seasons

This EP doesn’t come with any new lifetime wishes or a new world and doesn’t add a substantial amount of new gameplay (unlike generations). I’m not sure how I want to use it, or if I will skip it/combine it with another EP. For now I’m leaving it in as a wild card.

🎓 Ten: University Life

Gen ten is all about the pursuit of knowledge! The heir must attend university and can choose to study any of the majors I’ve never played. They can also choose ay of the EP’s lifetime wishes. The heir must gain the two extra trait slots by completing their degree and reaching max influence with at least one social group. They must also max the social networking skill. After returning from university the heir will make their home in Lucky Palms and pursue a career related to their chosen degree or social group. Because I’ve already played with plantsims, I might choose to add an alien to the family instead.

🏝️ Eleven: Island Paradise

The generation eleven heir loves to swim and will move to Isla Paradiso to live right on the water - literally - because they own a houseboat. They can choose any of the EP’s lifetime wishes but must also own a resort. Profits from their resort empire will support them while they explore the island and max the scuba diving skill. There are rumours of mermaids in the island’s waters... will the heir be lucky enough to befriend one?

🚀 Twelve: Into the Future

The oceans are rising and the island is no longer paradise! The heir knows that the advanced technology is the key to the future... but will the future be utopian or dystopian? They will have the bot fan trait and must max the advanced technology and bot building skills. They can choose any of the EP’s lifetime wishes. I don’t where we’ll end up at the end of the challenge... possibly on Lunar Lakes!

That’s the plan anyway! I might not stick to it exactly, but I’m excited to play every generation/EP which is kind of the point of a lepacy challenge after all!

thinking about sims lore. the official timeline presented by the devs makes no fucking sense. some official maxis content seems to imply that sims follow the gregorian calendar, and that they count years similarly to us (see official 2007 new year glasses, or bella goth's blog which says she was abducted in the summer of 2004).

as an aside, this seems to imply that Sim Jesus Christ existed? no matter how much they try to pretend with that "winterfest" shit, christmas has also made an appearance in every mainline sims PC game, and the sims count years in BC/AD format. was there a sim crucifixion? sim crusades? are the goths catholic?

anyway. the aforementioned blog post puts the sims 2 in the mid-to-late 2000s. probably 2004, which means mortimer REALLY rushed into things with dina caliente. listen, he definitely colluded with them to get rid of his wife, i'm telling you. and we know that the events of sims 1 happened 25 years before that (1979), and sunset valley is placed 25 years before THAT (1954).

but in the sims 3, their society seems far more advanced than in later games? in this world, modern things like smartphones, laptop computers, and even futuristic technologies like time travel and teleportation are quite commonplace. their society seems pretty equitable, i mean they still live in a capitalist society and all but in this world you can get promoted at work by reading books a lot so whatever. there doesn’t seem to be any racism or sexism among sims, and gay marriage is legal. beyond that, any number of different fantasy creatures live among sims easily. aliens, vampires, fairies, mermaids, witches, and so on.

then in sims 1 - 25 years later - things are DRASTICALLY different. technology seems to have regressed. people don’t even have cell phones anymore. magical creatures no longer live among sims, they live in their own separate world.

by the events of sims 2, things have improved a bit. sim society seems to be desegregating again, but most sims react with fear and revulsion to fantasy creatures, and alien racism against the smith family in strangetown is a major plot point in both the PC game and the PSP pseudo-RPG based on strangetown. also, i want to note that in this timeline, gay marriage laws have apparently been repealed.

so what happened? some major cataclysm must’ve occurred for simnation to regress so much. perhaps it was war? maybe with aliens? we don’t really know what happened between games or how canon all the spin-offs and console ports are, so i can only guess.

is this stupid? yes. all of this is because the premades are sort of flavor text, they’re important to a lot of sims players but ultimately EA/maxis have always counted more on people creating their own stories. also, they’ve always shied away from anything that too closely resembles real-life tragedies, which is why they rely on the abysmal fantasy racism trope but have magic’d away all real-life forms of bigotry. also, have you ever noticed how orphans are common in the sims world but no premades have ever had dead children? i guess that’s too dark for them. it makes sense.

i don’t know what i was talking about, but anyway. i know EA don’t give half a shit about sims lore anymore and neither do most new players, the sims 4 has proven that a thousand times. but perhaps they should hire an autist like me to revamp it and keep track of all the details.

Chapter 6 Taking the Next Step

Streets of the Capital, Cordonia...

There is something almost magical about being awake while the rest of the world sleeps. Sounds one normally doesn't notice during the day captures the imagination. Shadows beckon to be explored. Streetlights dot the different paths one can choose for an adventure through a terrain changed by darkness.

"I can't believe we managed to escape Felix and Bastien." Elisse whispered.

Liam chuckled, wrapping his arm around his bride of twelve hours. "I learned from the best how to slip away."

They walked along the freshly rain washed streets in search of the places that meant the most to Liam. He offered stories of himself and his friends, sneaking out during his social season and unity tour. Each memory was made sweeter by sharing his past with the lady by his side.

He still marveled at the fact that less than a month ago he managed to convince her to marry him. Elisse's doubts that she should remain with him left the moment he told her just how much she meant to him.

After all that Liam had experienced with love not being returned, Elisse's declaration of how much she loved him had made him grateful that he had not kept her at arms' length.

He doubted he would have been able to if he had tried. Everything about her drew him ever closer to her.

They walked on in contented silence. Each was lost in the whirlwind that had been the days leading up to their wedding. The entire country had been both surprised and pleased when he announced his intention to marry the viscountess from Monterisso.

Alamas had given her own press conference once back in her country. No one doubted that this was a love match after more interviews were conducted. It also just so happened to be a match made in diplomatic heaven. With Corodnia's riches combined with Monterisso's technological advances, the two would be a powerhouse that countries around the world wished to be an ally of.

Regina had thrown herself happily into planning a wedding for the couple. She was determined that theirs would outshine Riley and Drake's. A bit of motherly revenge guided her toward making everything bigger and more romantic. She was thrilled Liam had found someone who absolutely adored him. She also found a kindred spirit in Amalas joining to help with the preparations. The two were driven to give the couple all they deserved.

Liam and Elisse were usually caught smiling at each other or sharing a sweet kiss at events held in honor of their upcoming nuptials. Their happiness spread to all corners of Cordonia, making everyone forget about Liam's past with Riley and Madeleine. Everyone agreed that Elisse was perfect for him.

A few days before the wedding, Riley held a dinner for the couple at Valtoria. She and Drake were relieved that Liam was no longer alone. Though Elisse smiled and thanked them warmly for hosting them, she still held some bitterness toward the two.

She was both thankful that Riley's refusal of Liam's proposal led to him becoming hers and hurt that he had to suffer such heartache and betrayal in the first place. Seeing Liam no longer negatively affected by their presence went a long way for Elisse to manage to be polite.

Though their wedding day was plagued with cloudy skies that soon turned to a storm, nothing could take away from their happiness. Once inside Cordonia's oldest cathedral, hearts were touched by the sweet vows shared by the couple.

Elisse's wedding gown drew gasps of delight from the congregation. Cameras zoomed in to capture the petite lady in a sleeveless mermaid style dress. The lace that draped the white satin and then formed a slight train shimmered in the candlelight from the sparse crystals that were carefully placed as to not detract from the beauty of the design. A diamond tiara that Liam had given her the night before completed the veil less look.

For a noble from a country notorious for its secrets, her choice to not wear a veil was symbolic that she wanted to hide nothing from the man she had given her heart to.

Though the king and his soon to be queen were the envy of fashionistas around the globe, no one could ignore the fact that neither tried to disguise how completely happy they were.

Whispers of delight were shared among the guests the moment Liam took her hand and raised it to his lips. The little touches that neither could stop during the ceremony added even more to their sweetness. His wiping of her stray tears with the back of his hand. Her smoothing his lapels, only to have him press her hand to his heart.

It was a wedding that no one would ever forget.

In the midst of their reception, the couple thanked Regina and Amalas for everything before sneaking off to finally be alone.

Once inside the royal chambers the couple could finally be as close as they desired. Kisses were shared between whispers of love and attraction. Caresses became frantic as wedding clothes soon dropped to the floor.

All their moments falling in love led to this, being with the one who truly had lost their heart to them. Liam at one point paused in his movements to simply gaze down at his bride in the throes of passion that he had brought her. Her dark eyes met his fiery blue. Words were not needed. Breathless from his touch, she gently cupped his cheek as she pressed a tender kiss to his lips.

As they calmed their racing hearts in the aftermath, they shared the occasional kiss and smiles. Sleep eluded them as the excitement of the day still thrummed within their veins. Quickly getting dressed, the pair snuck down to the now quiet kitchen to raid the pantry.

Once enough sweets were between them, they sat on the counter, talking about their favorite moments of the day.

Then they discussed the honeymoon plans that had been kept from the press.

Their first stop planned was Boston for Elisse's appointment with Dr. Ramsey.

Once Liam saw her worry, he had insisted on their sneaking out of the palace and going for a walk.

His stories though, could only distract her for so long.

She stopped once they were near the shore. A smile briefly flashed when Liam folded his arms around her from behind.

His lips brushed a kiss to her ear. "What are you thinking about?"

"What Dr. Ramsey might say." Elisse relaxed back within her husband's arms. "I know after all that I have been told that I shouldn't get my hopes up." She let out a deep sigh. "But I can't help it."

He hugged her closer against his chest. He knew nothing could possibly top how happy he was with her, except having a child of their own. It was no secret to either one of them that they had each dreamed of one day having a family. Neither wanted to hear it was impossible.

Liam wanted to see a child with Elisse's dark hair and eyes, one he could spoil and proudly present to the world. Elisse wanted the same with his blue eyes and infectious smile. To see their own child sharing not only the physical characteristics but also those personality traits they adored in the other was something neither wanted to miss out on.

"We should probably return." Elisse turned in his embrace, smiling when he kissed her. "We still need to finish packing if we are to leave in a few hours."

The way his lips moved over her skin made all thoughts of packing seem less important.

Liam's smile held a hint of wicked mischief when he saw his wife's befuddled state.

"What am I to do with you?" She teased once he took her hand to lead her back to the palace.

"I will gladly go into detail once we are back in our bedroom." He winked at her, drawing another giggle from her lips.

Edenbrook Hosptial, Boston, two days later...

Olivia paced the confines of the examination room she had been placed in. Anxious to finally begin the decision she had made a month earlier, she was dreading to hear the news that she couldn't be the one.

After confirming that Elisse would be unable to carry a child full term, Olivia's offer to be the surrogate had shocked both the royal couple and the doctor sitting across from them.

It was the most logical decision in Olivia's mind. After all, wasn't she the one strong enough to do so? She was the one who put safety above all else. Who else would guard and protect their child just as well, if not better than them?

"Would you give us a moment, Dr Ramsey?" Liam had asked.

"Of course." He stepped out into the hallway, telling them to let him know when they were finished.

"Olivia," Elisse struggled to find the words. "We can't ask this of you."

"You're not asking.” She explained. “I’m offering”

"This is nearly a year of your life you're giving us." Liam countered. "Possibly longer if the first procedure does not take."

"It will work the first time." Olivia declared. "My body is trained in not accepting failure."

Elisse snorted softly, her heart starting to gain hope in Olivia's gruff determination. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

The duchess eyed them both before nodding. "I decided this a long time ago. Once I knew your medical history and saw Liam falling in love..." Her shoulders squared while her chin lifted, "I knew I should be not only a Guardian of Corodnia, but also a guardian of the future prince or princess."

"Olivia," Liam took her hand and kissed it. "I have no words to express how much your sacrifice means to me."

Her sharp gaze softened. "You owe me no words, Liam." She cleared her throat. "Now, call the doctor back in."

Olivia listened carefully to all that Ethan explained. She beat Liam and Elisse in her questions, then demanded more explanation from the renowned physician.

"Let's get on with the examination." Olivia demanded, as she stood up.

Ethan narrowed his eyes at her. "There is more to it than a simple physical exam. We need to--"

"I am ready to do whatever is needed." She spoke over him. "Are you not ready?"

Ethan bristled to the challenge he heard in her voice. Gathering Elisse's chart, he excused himself. With a jerk of his head toward the duchess, he walked out the door.

"Follow me, Ms. Nevarkis."

After blood was drawn and a physical given, Ethan asked her to get dressed then to wait until he returned.

She paced, wondering what was taking so long. She herself had one of the best doctors in Cordonia give her a physical a few weeks earlier. What if Dr. Ramsey noticed something that no one else had before?

Just as she was about to storm out and demand answers, Ethan returned.

He sat down and motioned for her to sit across from him in the only available chair.

"Well?" She bit out. "Am I healthy enough?"

"Physically, yes." He responded. "Now for the next part."

"When will the implantation be? Three weeks, isn't it, after I begin fertility medications?" She asked.

Ethan held his hand up to silence her. "The next part is a psychological examination."

"Excuse me?" Her eyes narrowed.

"Your mental health in this is almost if not more important in undergoing something like this." He explained. "You will be experiencing all the emotions an expectant mother goes through, yet you will be giving the baby to someone else."

She waived off his words with a flick of her hand. "I know exactly what I am doing."

A muscle spasmed in his jaw. "Ms. Nevarkis, why are you doing this?"

"Because I am able to." She folded her arms. "I'm the best one to do this for them. I have no intention to marry anyone in the near future. I do not have any sexual partners. I am free of any encumbrance."

He slowly shook his head. "Why do you want to do this?"

She blinked. "Why?"

"Yes. What is it about Liam and Elisse that you would be willing to do this?"

"They are my king and queen. Surely, you--"

"Personally." He insisted. "Why are you willing to give them a year of your life?"

Seeing he wouldn’t move forward with the plans, her carefully maintained shield dropped revealing a vulnerability she rarely allowed others to see. "I...there are two reasons."

Ethan leaned forward, resting his arms on his knees. His piercing blue gaze warmed as he tried to be less abrupt. "What are they?"

"Liam was...is...someone I owe everything to. He is the one who helped me get over my parents' deaths. He has done nothing except stand by me through the years." She explained.

"I see." Ethan rubbed a hand down his stubbled jaw. "That is a strong, emotional reason to want to do this. But you said you had another one. What is it?"

Olivia swallowed. "Let's call it a chance to prove once and for all that I am worthy of Cordonia."

"Worthy? What do you mean?"

Briefly closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and explained her family's treacherous past and her surprise marriage to Anton.

One thing that helped her get through her past, was Ethan's lack of response. He didn't interrupt her nor did his face reveal what he was thinking.

"This is why I want to do this." She explained, her voice was full of emotion. Even she could hear the need, sadness, and desperation. "I need to do this for Liam and my country. My people."

She jumped when Ethan rested his hand over hers.

Giving a gentle squeeze, he nodded. "Then you are indeed the one who should be the surrogate."

"I will stay here for the injections." Olivia explained to Liam and Elisse. "Dr. Ramsey will keep a close eye on me. When you come back in three weeks, we will begin the implantation, and then in two weeks know we are expecting."

Ethan rolled his eyes. "Am I needed here at all to explain this?" He waved toward his desk. "Perhaps you should sit there."

Olivia ignored him. "Go and enjoy your honeymoon somewhere else. There is no need for you to remain here."

She grunted when Elisse enveloped her in a tight hug. Her tearful thanks were spoken in a whisper.

Liam in turn hugged her while Elisse surprised Ethan with a hug too.

"How will I ever be able to thank you enough for never giving up on me?" She asked him.

He patted her back and smiled down at her. "You don't need to." He shook Liam's hand while promising that he would do all he could to make this go as easy as possible.

Edenbrook Hospital, Boston, five weeks later...

Olivia absentmindedly rubbed at the spot where blood had been drawn. She glanced at the couple who had all their hopes placed within her ability to carry their child.

Please, she silently prayed. Please let me do this for them.

Ethan returned with a smile on his face. "Congratulations. You're pregnant."

Elisse covered her mouth as a sob broke through. Liam wrapped her in his arms, tears sparking his eyes.

Olivia nearly sagged in relief. "And my offer?"

Liam and Elisse looked up. "Offer?"

"I have asked Dr. Ramsey to come to Cordonia to monitor us throughout the entire pregancy." She explained. "In exchange for not only his help in establishing a research hospital in Lythikos but in Cordonia possibly offering a grant to Edenbrook."

Liam nodded. "Of course. I was planning on doing so in Elisse's name after all that you and your hospital did for her."

Ethan cleared his throat. "I have been encouraged by our board and a few others to accept. It is a very generous offer that I can't refuse."

"Thank you!" Elisse hugged Olivia and pulled Ethan in on it. "I can never thank you both enough."

The Royal Palace, two months later, Cordonia...

"Shouldn't we wait on Liam and Elisse?" Oliva asked.

Ethan continued to type in information. "Your blood work came back with some surprising results. I want to confirm my suspicions before we talk to them."

She reclined back on the padded exam table as he performed an ultrasound.

The east wing of the palace had gone through numerous changes. Given the equipment Ethan needed to monitor Olivia, rooms had been divided up for examinations and lab work. His own personal quarters were across the hallway from his work.

He had been shocked when Elisse showed him that they had knocked walls down to make him an apartment similar to the one he had in Boston.

"I want you to feel at home as much as you can while you're here." She explained. "You still will be welcome to join us whenever you wish for meals and events, but I know you need a space that is all your own."

Touched by her thoughtfulness, he had accepted the hug graciously that she still felt was needed to express her gratitude.

Liam also invited him to treat the entire palace as his own also. He personally gave him a tour, taking Ethan to the library at the end.

"One of Corodnia's previous rulers was fascinated with medicine." He led him over to a section of shelves on the second floor. "My mother shared his interest and she and I, in her honor, have made certain to keep up with the latest research."

Ethan saw not only many names he recognized through medicine's history but also some he had only been able to gather pieces of. Having a chance to read through all this at his leisure was an unexpected perk to living within the gilded palace.

The entire country was in baby fever. Riley was nearing her due date, causing added scrutiny whenever she and Drake were caught outside of Valtoria. The rest of her pregnancy had gone much easier now that the stress of having the royal heir was removed.

Cordonians were struck speechless when Elisse held an interview openly explaining her fertility problems. When she announced that Olivia would be the surrogate to hers and Liam's baby, the duchess was hailed once again as a hero to Cordonia.

The people in Lythikos were eager to share their opinions that they always knew she was a noble worthy of admiration, but they were also humbled by her willingness to do this for their monarchs.

Olivia and Ethan were soon the ones to dominate the public's interest. The American doctor was asked on numerous occasions how the pregnancy was progressing. Unused to such attention, his deadpan expression with quick, decisive words somehow helped to eliminate any anxiousness the citizens felt.

Olivia looked over at the screen. She failed to recognize what exactly Ethan was studying.

"Well?" She prodded, impatient over his continuing silence. "What is it that you have determined?"

A reluctant smile formed at her trying to disguise her worry with irritation. He took a few pictures and printed them out.

"That we were wrong." He told her.

All color drained from her face. "What do you mean?"

"We suspected twins." He reminded her. "Which was why I wanted to do more bloodwork. Your HCG pointed at that not necessarily being the case."

"Ethan." Olivia narrowed her eyes. "Tell me. I am at least carrying one child for them, aren't I?"

"No. You're carrying three."

Rewinxing Timeline Pre-Series

Keep in mind that between events and events can pass centuries. The average experience of a person is 10,000 years. and if you have magic and you know how to use it... Because I love Belgariad Chronicles so magic MAY makes you inmortal because yes.

WARNING: LONG. AND SURE I'M MISSING SOMETHING. OR CROSS SOMETHING. AGGG. MY HEAD.

And yes, in my rewinxing there is racism, selfishness, "human" idiocy and other nonsense. Why do The Ancestresses ALWAYS fight together?

PROTOHISTORY

Ethereals Fight - Big Bang

They actually do it two more times -Nobody says the must be AllIntelligents. So, Out Life, Big Bang Again.

They decide that they better stop and see what could happen to the result of their first and third fights: "life" they decide to call it, it would be interesting if it were allowed to develop.

Planets are formed, they become habitable.

The first intelligent creatures are born (Clariel -female human races, Carabossa -male elven races, Kristjana -female mermaid/triton races, Oros - male centaurs races, Ninfea -female pixies, Laufey -female gigant races, Danu- hermaphrodite selkies). They all talk funny. They all are old as dust.

TIME OF LEGENDS - ANCIENT TIMES

Skips and happens a millennium or two of advance in all systems and their planets.

Magic flourishes. But technology also, the native giants of Xenia are particularly advanced in it.

Darkar, previously knows as Lord Argulus of Larisa, Fae of Birds (one now uninhabitable planet from Hercules, aka Domino system) borns.

All the Mythix members are born already.

Solarian witch Selemisa meets Lumeria and Lumen race (also, first Cosmix user).

Acheron, Wizard of Memories begin to writes the Legendarium.

The days of the groundhog begin.

The Ancestral Witches have born.

Mythix comes together and decides to confront Acheron and his allies.

The Legendarium is closed and the Mythix Ones get separated because people are scared of their association.

THE WAR - THE DARK AGE

Sparks (First Queen of the planet that would become Domino) has born.

Carabossa Acrypta, as soft as dangerous his thorns; finds, keeps safe and educates said the ancestral witches maybe too early in their magic.

The InterRealm Wars starts. Nobody remembers anymore why - which is SHAMEFUL - because wars are stupid. Some energetic or magical resource. It will last for centuries.

Darkar gets both Morix and Shadow Phoenix Blessing.

Many of the planets and kingdoms reflected in the Legendarium no longer exist, Many histories and cultures that will be forgotten. Solaria, Andros and Romulea, among others, can boast they are ancient and have stood on their feet. But even they don't remember everything.

Many other planets, like Domino, Titania and Zenith, have flourished from the remains of previous ones.

The three witches begin to go “a little” crazy - Only Carabossa and his near ones know them at this point.

Darkar is one of the biggest detractors of peace. Something about "new beginnings". Most people take for granted that the Ethereal's blessing and the destruction of his planet drove him crazy.

Acrypta and Arcadia, along with other Mythix and Elders are offered position in the Golden Kingdom. Almost all reject. The Mythix faes and witches in the end they die by age, minus Arcadia because the Ethereals need someone who knews about the Legendarium and forces her. Ninfea escapes on a tiny technicality (but she can no longer move from Hike's remains), Laufey and Carabossa use their magic to go on the run and Danu melts into the Infinite Ocean [[So yes, the Council of Elders don’t actually likes that much the Ethereals but they are not foolish enough to be rude from the front]].

Somehow that includes that it’s the little bricks that make up a castle, the war actually ended. The Peace Accords are signed and their symbol is the Monastery of Roccaluce. Day celebrated on all planets.

The Council of Magic Realm is created with its headquarters in Monastery of Roccaluce in the rest of the planet Hike, Magix.

Alfea, Cloud Tower and Lymphea College are founded. There were already other schools being founded in each pleant, but these have the approval of the Council.

The connection of the Earth/Terra with the rest of the planets is cut abruptly JUST WHEN ALL THE AGREEMENTS WERE FINISHED AND after they played a significant role in the Peace Negotiations.

The Three Witches disappear. Along Darkar. They actually go to Omega and whatever Darkar teach the Three Witches, is such that the planet has been claiming the magic of the visitors to try sustain itself ever since.

MODERN AGE - NEW TIMES

The Major Earth Fairies (Morgana, Diana, Nebula, Sibylla, Aurora, Tinkerbell, Eldora) are teenagers right now.

Overlapping with the Peace Accords, the Wizards of the Black Circle (a minor section of Terra magic user who went their own way). They begin to hunt the fairies as soon as said fairies begin their formation (which is when the wings are solid) and tear them off. This forces all the fairies on Earth to back down and all the negative magic users to hide for not wanting to join them. The Earth soon forgets about magic. The Earth, with the ley lines cut (because in its crossways, now closed, are the last refuges of the fairies, this includes Neverland, El Dorado and Tir Nan Og among others ) it got stuck, lost its quality, and the terrans, quantity of life. But it never got to the Omega level, because, well, something there. The only way the fairies had to get out were the ones able to cast White Circles, only half of the Major Fairies on Terra are capable of doing them, and usually the visits did not turn out well or did not like what they saw outside and the Wizards were destroying them very time they could.

Acrypta keep missing to THE ETHEREALS SIGHT, still searching his kids. ALSO Laufey, whether they are together or not, no one knows, but the Council take for granted that they are in the Golden Kingom, and no one there is going to deny that. Because, while the Elders don't hate the Council, they don't endorse it either. Council of Elders against the Universe.

The Three Witches visit for first time Domino. Tharma and/or Liliss tricked the King of Domino and tried got part of his Dragon Flame - but they couldn't store it all because of how the Blessing works- This visit will become a recurring and increasingly destructive thing, something personal.

Lord Darkar dirty kills Carabossa before he reaches the Three Witches... I... I just tried to redeem the The Ancestresses... NO. Not on my guard... well maybe, they are CRAZY. But he is the first Wizard and kinda blessed by ethereals too. The guy respects that. If Ninfea, bonded pixie to Carabossa didn't die then was by Ethereals dis-grace, I mentioned before. But two ethereal-blessed dudes could "cancel" the other blessings (in Carabossa not the typical blessing but Golden Kingdom inmortal membership blessing)

Almost all people from the Company of Light has born and started or almost finished school at this point. Faragonda switches from Witch to Fairy, Kalshara things happens,

Marion borns and receives the Dragon Flame from her father.

Valtor is “born”. Physically his appearance is a carbon copy to Carabossa, but sadly not my adorkable one and composed of the flesh and blood of the three sisters, Carabossa and the King of Domino Ninfea and Carabossa's pixie tie influences the birth of Valtor (I'll leave it there). AND HE FUCKING ACTUALLY GETS THE DRAGON’S BLESSING. Twisted universe and Ethereal Dark Sense of Humour.

Valtor is sent to mingle with the people to conquer the planets "by wordiness" and get allies, while the witches try “by force”. Griffin joins Valtor, not the Ancestresses. Daphne and Politea borns sometime around here.

The Lord of the Templars Gareth seal Darkar back in Omega BEFORE the destruction of Domino hoping that the fact that according to their latest reports the Ancestresses have abandoned it and the planet now absorbs magic will keep him locked up. It begins to be used as a prison in general. Also he sends Darkar to Omega because their current Boundless Oblivion Keeper, Mandragora had switched sides and he preferred to finish ensuring that everything was in order and check any what she could have done.

With an unexpected, but welcome freedom, the Ancestresses become more agressive and forces Valtor’s political hand. All politics in vain but for all this policy and such is that in season 3 Valtor moves so fast in the theft of spells between planets.

Griffin lefts Valtor, the Company of Light is officially founded. YAY!!! -F*CKING FINALLY. They had suspicions against Valtor until then.

Bloom (named Ariadne in Domino) and the main cast and others around their ages are born.

With Valtor as the most obvious and localized target, they easily send him to Omega and one less problem.

Politea betrays Daphne.

Roxy is born with Morgana visit to Terra. She stays with her family for a bit.

The Ancestresses attack Domino in retaliation knowing that "his daughter" had a lot to do with this. No, not because he was their son, but because he was their toy. The witches first attempted to attack Domino across the Infinite Ocean, so only Daphne was able to defend it. Quickly changing the scene, they attacked her sister and and even faster than them she jumped to protect her, then Daphne transferred the Dragon's Flame to Bloom, a moment that they took advantage of to defeat but actually not kill her (because having a fairy who had obtained the Nymphix could be useful later to dissect).

All this time it served to reunite the Company of Light who totally went with the intention of -kill- seal them in Boundless Oblivion since they are not as nice as The Templar Leader (specially with Oritel and Marion leading and their missing daughters), and there are many so they can actually do the spell quickly (Gareth went one on one with Darkar, go Gareth!!) But the witches did not leave without a fight and all Domino went with them to Oblivion.

PRE-SERIES

Faragonda becomes Headmistress.

Morgana witnesses Bloom's arrival on Earth and gives a super-ultra-mega-fast advice to Mike and Vanessa. She didn't even get a chance to properly introduce Roxy and Bloom or learn Bloom's name.

Sadly, Bloom arrival also triggers the one of the Wizards of the Black Circle. To the trash the years Morgana spent being careful! So, placing on both girls a little glamour that would prevent their still-developing magic from being detected she had to put on a great little performance to make the Wizards thinks she was the only magic user there, and returned to her Kingdom.

Said spell in the future would prevent Eldora from detecting Bloom's magic.
