1. vanicream gentle facial cleanser for sensitive skin
$9-14 average
this face cleanser was like a miracle for me!!!! it’s really hard to find good facial cleansers for people with really dry and sensitive skin like mine due to eczema, but this one ticks all my boxes! it’s gentle, but still leaves my face feeling nice and clean!
2. cetaphil eczema restoraderm soothing moisturizer
$18-$25~
so this pretty pricey to me for a face moisturizer, but it is really is worth it. i was having the worst dry skin and eczema with flaky and dry skin on my face and after one night of using this i instantly saw results. so it’s definitely worth the money if you get eczema on your face!
3. chapstick total hydration soothing vanilla moisture
$ average around 7ish
a really good and solid chapstick. instantly made my lips feel sooo much better and kept them better! also good for small places on your face that are dry as well!
4. jasmine tea lip mask moisturizer
$12 on colourpop
Idk if this works or not. I bought it mainly for the packaging because it has uncle iroh on it. it’s really soft and feels good putting on though!!

the best blush omggggg will never go back to powder !!!!! so soft and velvety !!! you just dab a little on your fingers and then tap tap tap and blend it onto your cheek wherever you want it!! can be super subtle or super prominent depending on how much you use. oof I love it so much
6. revolution golden bar eye shadow pallet
$6-$20~
my go to eye shadow pallet. like if you have green eyes these are some of the best daily colors for you!! i mainly use the three golds in the middle and the brown on the bottom for everyday looks
7. too faced triple scoop hyper-reflective highlighting pallet
$ i can’t find it new anywhere so i don’t think they sell it anymore :(
literally smells so good. all the colors look super good as well!! im pale (aka white) and even the brown highlighter is cute on me! great for matching highlighters with your outfits hehe
8. total temptation washable mascara
$8~
my favorite mascara ive tried. the brush is a perfect size, the application is great, and I love how it makes my lashes look!!!!

$ averaging around 50 bucks, but the bigger the size the more $$
so i first got this in one of those little sample bottles you keep in your purse because I just could not help myself it smelled sooo gooodddd. and then my parents got me a big bottle for Christmas and I almost cried! I love this scent so much like I can’t even describe it tbh it’s just goodness~

urbosa doesn’t hug you often, but she shows physical affection in other ways. i.e. gently pulling you to lean on her when sitting down, keeping a hand on the small of your back, running her hands through your hair (if she can), etc.

she honestly doesn’t have a preference on where to be kissed! she likes kissing you on the shoulder, forehead, and hand the most. :))

she’s actually really good with kids! even before she became chieftain, she liked hanging out + playing pretend with them
something really cool about urbosa that the kids like is that she treats them with high respect and talks to them like adults!!! (but very sensitive adults at that; she doesn’t tease them much. kids deserve kindness and you bet she’s gonna fulfill that)

she prefers long hours of sleep + waking up late. so if it’s a chill day when you’re not needed for anything, she’ll stay with you in bed for hours

Introverted with an extroverted streak. Outside of HEAVENS, he's actually more chill and likes to keep to himself, but he's still super outgoing when he meets new people. Makes you think you know shit about him when in reality, you don't. Doesn't change with a s/o.
Dance: would they encourage their s/o to join the industry? How would they take it if they did?
Eh. He doesnt want you to join mainly because he wants to keep you to himself, but of course he cant dictate your life. Or so you think. Manipulates you into thinking the idol life isnt for you and that's that.

Likes to travel to places with history and lots of diversity. China, Tibet, or the Czech Republic are on his travel destination list; all experiences he'd like to share with you.

He will never show them how weak he feels inside. Of course, once you know him, it kind of becomes obvious, but he will never admit how much his father and failure scare him.

Oh yes definitely. Has scared off many potential suitors with his weird grin and creepy comments. Don't mess with what's eiichi's.

I could honestly see him go borderline Yandere and maybe even a little past that. Once you're his, you're his for life, whether you see it too or not.

Physical touch and words of affirmation. He knows what his touches can do to you and how to tune his voice just right to have you shaking beneath him. But of course he also uses these for soft moments where he tells you how lucky he is to have an angel like you by his side.

Contrary to popular belief, he's only open to it when he feels threatened and needs to show off his dominance. Other than that, he's just holding your hand.

No. Even if youve been together for years, theres still things he keeps from you becayse he feels like he can handle them better by himself.
Reserved: what's something that only his s/o would know about?
If and when he opens up, all his worries come to you. Maybe it's because HEAVENS just isnt ready for that next show, or he feels like a failure. Maybe it's Eiji he worries about, or that Raging is losing too much money.
Serious: how long until they start to get really serious with their s/o?
It's a game to him until it's not. Of course he's in love with you but how far is he in? He won't know until he starts to think about the future one day and you just happen to be in every picture his mind comes up with.
Type: what's their type in a s/o ?
Someone more submissive and in a sense, feminine. Someone who challenges him, but respects him all the same. Someone who listens and gives great advice; definitely the type of person to calm him and welcome him with love and acceptance.

He's had a few flings here and there, but none that lasted because he quite honestly got bored and didn't see the future with them.

Car Racing! They confirmed it a couple years ago and he just loves the sport. Is super good at it too! He just cant do it too much because his father is scared he's gonna get hurt and ruins the face of HEAVENS.

Sometimes he has staring contests out of the blue. Official utapri confirmed that as children, Eiji and him had staring contests, and it kind of carried into his adulthood. He will just start staring at you.
Xylophone: their favorite part about you? Physically? Mentally?
Physically its your legs. Eiichi likes thick thighs leading to a nice booty, mkay? Appreciates the jiggle. Mentally it's your tendency to always be there. Youre most likely a very loving person he really needs that in his life.

He would love to get married at some point and start his own family. He would be a super cool dad and an even more loving husband.

”Y’alright?”
Genos looked up at the sky. Silently counted to ten.
He’d messed up - of course he had. Same as always.
”Heeey.”
The call was followed by a foot roughly prodding his side where he laid on his back, on the cracked asphalt. Monster was somewhere off to his left, very dead.
”I’m not carrying you home, get up.”
With a sigh, Genos finally pulled himself into a sitting position, looking down at his torn leg and his missing foot. It wasn’t a large injury in the grand scale of things - he’d certainly been through much worse, plenty of times - but the timing was exceptionally bad. If he’d lost an arm to that stupid sentient road sign he could have replaced it easily, he had several spare sets stuffed in his side of the closet, but a foot… he’d need Kuseno for that, and a visit to the lab would take hours, hours he didn’t have. Not today.
”Oi. People are starting to flock, now that that thing is dead,” Garou grumbled. Crowds of civilians were still… difficult for the former villain.
”Fine.”
Pushing himself to his remaining foot, Genos grabbed Garou by the shoulder for support, slowly limping back towards his and Sensei’s apartment.

”I’ll just have to cancel. That’s all there is to it.”
”Oh boo-hoo. I thought you didn’t even want to go, and now you’re doing the sad cyborg eyes at us?” Badd gave him a pointed look.
It was true - he initially hadn’t been especially pleased to receive the invitation from the HA. A donation drive in the form of a masquerade - as if most heroes weren’t already dressed in questionable outfits on a daily basis! Every S- and A-ranked hero had received an invitation, as well as the B- and C-ranks most beloved by the public. Saitama-sensei was not one of them. Not that it made a difference - each invitation included a ”plus one”, and after considering his options, Genos had naturally insisted that Sensei come with him. He could count it as date night, Genos had argued, one that included free food and entertainment. And as Saitama-sensei agreed to come, Genos found himself growing cautiously optimistic about the whole affair.
Badd, probably simply to be difficult, had invited Garou. The man was still viewed with great distrust by the HA and the public alike, but Genos supposed if he did manage to behave himself, being seen along high-ranked heroes might improve his reputation. And if he didn’t... well, it’d be amusing to watch the chaos go down.
Genos hadn’t been too concerned about the dressing up part. He’d planned on wearing his trusted bunny ears and tail paired with his suit, the one with the suspenders. What he really looked forward to was spending the evening with Saitama-sensei. Maybe they could even dance together…
Except now there’d be no dancing, or walking, or even standing up unaided.
”What’s the big deal? Just have your mans carry you around, I know you’d love that,” Garou snorted. Looking at him, Genos quietly wondered what he had planned to dress up as. Maybe he still had that faux wolf head stashed away somewhere…
”Yeah man, that’d be romantic as shit, right? It’d be just like Cinderella!”
”Cinderella lost her shoe, not her goddamn whole ass foot!” Garou countered, throwing a pillow in Badd’s general direction.
”Yeah, well, this is the cyborg version so there!”
Genos tuned out their bickering, looking down again at his torn leg. It had stopped sparking and it wasn’t painful, but it was damned inconvenient. He didn’t have anything to stick into it to make a temporary peg-leg, did he? Doctor Kuseno would certainly not approve of that kind of repair, but on the other hand, he did often tell Genos to try to get out more and do more fun things... He wasn’t even sure if this would even qualify as fun, but the doctor did also say that he’d try to catch the drive on TV and see if he could spot Genos, and yes, Saitama-sensei too of course, and… well...
He looked up with a start, broken from his train of thought as the door slammed from the end of the room.
”What’s happening? Where is Badd going?”
”To pick up your dress, Cinderella.”
”What?”
”I told him you weren’t listening even if you were nodding!”

”This was not made with cyborgs in mind.”
”Yeah, well, I don’t think any costumes are. Just… don’t make any sudden movements and you’ll be fine.”
Genos wasn’t wrong - the dress clearly was not made for someone of his size, nor his long legs. The skirt ended just below his knees rather than his ankles, and it strained dangerously tight over his chest. He’d put on the most slender arms he had at home and the elbow-length gloves did fit, but only very barely.
”Look at me, and hold still,” Badd continued, hairbrush in hand.
Mildly confused, Genos twisted on the chair so that he looked straight at him, then froze as Badd brushed his hair for him. With deft fingers, he tied a large bow - matching his baby blue dress - into his hair. He seemed so at ease - as if he’d done it a million times before. It wasn’t a skill set Genos would have expected S-rank hero Metal Bat to possess, but-
”Oh. You do your little sister’s hair.”
”Yuh,” Badd muttered through the bobby pins in his mouth. He put a couple into Genos’ hair to keep the bow in place, then stepped back to admire his handiwork.
”A beautiful princess,” Garou muttered from where he laid sprawled across the folded futons. ”Where’s your prince tho’?”
”Shut up,” Badd told him. “Go find a broom.”
”A broom?” Genos asked, carefully prodding the bow. He wasn’t accustomed to having something in his hair. Even though the bow weighed so little, he felt very aware of it.
”Don’t touch it!” Badd warned, then jutted his chin at Garou in a nod as thanks when he returned with the broom.
”Yeah, it’s your cane, Cinderella.”
”Oh.”
”Fits your character and all! We put thought into this!”
Carefully Genos took the broom into hand, standing up. It looked dumb. He looked dumb in an outfit so poorly fitting but… well, it’d have to do, he supposed.
The bag Badd had come back with didn’t look even half-empty yet and he leaned forward, trying to get a peek.
”What’s the rest?”
”Well, we decided we should all match n’ shit. That should rake in the donation money, right? They said we should divide ourselves into teams to fight over who gets the most donations, so we figured hey, team Princess!
Genos stared as Badd extracted two more dresses, one bright yellow and one in alternating pink and purple.
”Hell yeah! Time to be a monsterfucker princess!” Garou cried out happily.

”What’s your name supposed to be again?” Genos asked.
”Ra-pun-zel. Ugh, don’t you have a fancy computer brain to help you remember stuff?”
”No,” Genos huffed, feeling oddly vindicated as Garou thumped Badd on the back of his head and tsk-ed.
”Ow! Okay, so, I’m Rapunzel, Garou is Belle and you’re Cin- Deshiderella.
”Disciple-rella? Fine.”
”See, we’re all doing great.”
Genos was not accustomed to walking down the street in a dress, but despite limping along on one leg in a far too tight outfit, he seemed to be faring better than his companions.
”...the fuck you keep your balance in heels?!” Garou yelled as he once again near lost his balance on a bit of uneven asphalt.
”Just shut up and be grateful they had heels in your size!”
Their bickering continued the way it always did, sharp but well-meaning, until they finally reached their destination.
There was… a lot of people. And paparazzi. Of course.
Genos blinked as the cameras turned to the trio of princesses. Was he imagining things, or were they going off much more rapidly than when the previous group of heroes had passed through?
”Demon Cyborg! Metal Bat!”
”...the Hero Hunter..?”
”Such glamorous costumes!”
“You look precious! Absolutely precious!”
”Demon-sama, what happened to your foot?!”
”He’s Deshiderella now!” Badd yelled as he pulled the other two through the door.

Garou and Badd found Genos a chair that could actually hold his weight, mercifully placed him near one of the snack tables, then wandered off to do who knew what. Bother someone, probably.
Slowly chewing on a small sandwich, Genos contemplated how different the evening was turning out compared to how he’d originally planned it. He was supposed to have shown up looking his most dazzling, impressing Sensei not only with his looks but with the surroundings - the music, the people, the… everything. Who cared about donation drive competitions, that had never been what this was about, not for him anyway.
And now here he sat, in a too-short dress with a broom for a cane and no sensei at all. Where was he? Before they’d left, Badd had called Saitama as he was on his was back home, to tell him something - he wouldn’t tell Genos what. But he had promised him that Saitama would meet up with them at the party. But they’d already been here for 18, 19… almost 20 minutes now...
He was once more startled out of his thoughts as another chair was pulled up near his, together with a pleased ”Cyborg princess!”
”Fubuki.” He crossed his arms over his chest, fabric straining over armoured shoulders.
”You look wonderful. That shade of blue suits you. It is a little short, though.”
”We didn’t have time to shop around,” Genos replied, attempting to subtly pull the skirt down. He lifted his eyes to take in all the... sparkles. ”Your dress is very… shiny.”
”Mhm. Is the food any good?” As she asked, Fubuki had one of the little sandwiches float through the air to herself.
”It’s fine.”
”So, where’s your prince?”
”I… don’t know. I came with Metal Bat and Garou.”
”Ah, yes, last I heard they were bothering Amai Mask.”
Genos smiled faintly to himself.
”Which donation team is in the lead?”
”Ah,” Fubuki grinned at him. ”Well, ’Team Princess’ has made a strong impression it seems, but so has the little joint project Sweet Blizzard, despite not being as… coordinated as you three. It’s about evenly tied, right now, between the top A slash B ranked heroes and the three little nobles.”
”Four!” Badd happily corrected as he stepped up to them. His hair was a mess and he looked sweaty, but pleased. ”How’re doing?”
”Fine. Bored.”
”You won’t be for long,” Badd nodded towards the main entry, a ridiculously large set of double doors covered in (probably plastic) gold. There was still a steady stream of people dressed in all manners of costumes passing through, if gravitating towards sexy versions of Other Things. Genos wasn’t sure what he should be looking for, unless- oh.
As was often the case, it was the shiny bald head you noticed first. What was Saitama-sensei wearing… a crown? How did it stay on..?
The most powerful man in the world looked almost small as he carefully stepped into the grand room, easily lost in the crowd despite his brightly coloured outfit. Somehow, he’d managed to find clothes that broadly corresponded with his hero outfit - most of it was yellow, with white accents and if Genos wasn’t mistaken he’d attached his hero cape as well. The boots were different though, and the gloves, and there was a sash across his chest.
Despite the poofy shoulders and knees and loud colours, despite clearly not feeling at ease in this new outfit, Genos was certain he was looking at the most handsome prince in the world.
Prince Saitama.
He stood up, putting his hand on the armrest for support, ready to call out to Saitama-sensei when Badd pushed him back down into the chair.
”Let him come to you!” he growled, and Genos reluctantly obeyed.
It took him a moment, but then Sensei finally spotted Genos and his whole demeanour broke out into relief. He pushed himself through the crowd until he reached the waiting trio.
”Hi,” he waved.
”My lord,” Genos bowed his head from where he sat, noting how his prince blushed at the title.
”My… ’borg. Wanna dance?”
Genos pointed to his leg. ”I can-ah!”
As he spoke, he felt an invisible push, and suddenly he was standing, as if held up by a great pair of invisible hands. It was familiar, but it also wasn’t. How strange to think that different espers could have their own signature… feels. Fubuki was not Tatsumaki.
Gingerly, he took Prince Saitama’s outstretched hand into his own and walked oddly to the dance portion of the hall - he and Fubuki weren’t quite coordinated, so it was somewhat tricky to walk, but at least he could get around without the broom.
He felt Saitama’s other hand against his waist, enjoying the light squeeze he gave him. He looked even more wonderful, up this close.
”Er, Genos? I have no idea how to do this…” he muttered, beginning to sweat.
”Then, let me lead,” Genos smiled, adjusting their positions and hands accordingly. He leaned forward, whispering into the other man’s ear. ”Follow me, my prince.”

”I can’t believe we lost the donation drive challenge to, to them. To a cyborg on one leg, a ruffian and a villain. Not to even mention, Caped Baldy!” Amai Mask groaned, downing the rest of his drink. His cat ears had gone askew on his head, but he couldn’t be bothered to fix them. It was rare for him to be this chatty, especially with anyone in a class lower than himself, but that number of drinks would do that to you...
”Well,” Fubuki smiled back, taking a sip from her own. ”They did all coordinate their outfits, and they looked very cute… especially when the prince danced with his princess…”
”How did he even manage that, on one leg?!”
Fubuki smiled at him. ”I haven’t the faintest idea.”

Just a quick college AU inspired by @losebetter‘s Fjord fanart that was Just Exactly Right. Started like a month ago and finished real quick this morning because I have two weeks left of grad school and that feels like a lot right now.
CW for mentions of mental health struggles but otherwise completely G.
Important things about this AU:
- Jester, Beau, Caduceus, and Nott are all freshmen
- Caleb’s the one upperclassman who stayed in the residence halls because he got a scholarship that covers room and board
- Fjord is their RA who’s very bad at being an RA (he tries…) and has had to write Jester up for noise violations about five times. Jester always apologizes and promptly forgets about the quiet hours rules again
- Beau and Jester have been dating since week two of the first semester, when Jester decided that she did not, in fact, have a crush on the cute RA and instead had a crush on her roommate
- Caleb does, in fact, have a crush on the cute RA
- Said cute RA also has a crush on Caleb but is determined to not let him know about it because that’s Not Allowed, RAs dating residents, so they’re just pining until Caleb at LEAST moves out of Fjord’s floor
- Nott’s Caleb’s roommate and reminds him that he gets free meals on campus so there’s absolutely no reason to not eat
- Caduceus has the single at the end. Well, it’s not actually a single, but his roommate Yasha is never around, so he’s mostly just filled her side of the room with potted plants

Beau had her calculus notes spread out over an entire table and was doing chin-ups on the balcony of the residence hall lounge when Fjord walked in and set his laptop down on her scribbled algorithms. It was two in the morning the Friday before finals, and everyone was barely holding it together. Caleb was hunched over a linguistics textbook in one corner of the room, Jester was fast asleep and clutching her Ikea shark in another, and various freshmen had been stumbling in and out all night, telling each other that really, it was one semester, it wouldn’t be the end of the world if they failed a few tests.
“What’re you doing up?” Beau said, pulling herself back onto the balcony and into the room, closing the door behind her after seeing Jester shiver from the cool May breeze. “You on duty?”
“Nah,” Fjord said, pulling down the screen over one wall and blowing dust off the old-fashioned projector that always seemed to end up back in this room. “Just figured everyone needed a break from studying, including me.” He opened his laptop up and plugged it into the projector.
“I dunno about everyone else, but yeah, I sure do,” Beau said, flinging herself into the nearest armchair that wasn’t occupied. “Jes passed out about an hour ago in the middle of quizzing Nott on chemistry terms, so Nott ran out to get her some hot chocolate. She should be back soon.”
Fjord snapped his fingers. “That’s what I forgot. Okay, just a mo’.” As the projector hummed to complaining life, he opened Crunchyroll and pulled up an episode of Dragon Ball Z.
“Can you do Naruto instead?” Beau put in.
Fjord grinned at her. “Not this time. It’s a DBZ kind of night. Be right back. Tell Caleb that he should get his head out of his book for a few minutes.”
Beau sighed audibly and rolled her eyes, but once Fjord left the room, she started nudging Caleb. “Dude. Hey, dude. Time to take a break.”
Caleb looked up, his eyes taking a few seconds to focus. “Beauregard?”
“Fjord’s throwing an anime party in the middle of the night like the madman he is,” Beau said. “He told me to get you in on it.”
Caleb blinked up at the projector. “I suppose I have a few minutes,” he said, closing his textbook. “Do you know where Nott went?”
“She was going to make a convenience store run, I think,” Beau said.
“Did you tell her to get me more peach rings?” Caleb said hopefully.
“Dude, you’re going to turn orange if you eat any more of those things,” Beau said. “This is health advice from me, who once didn’t eat a vegetable for a week straight, so you should listen.”
“Beau?” Jester said sleepily, hugging her shark tighter. “Wha’s goin’ on?”
“Nothing, Jes, Fjord’s just being the kind and caring soul he is,” Beau said promptly.
Her girlfriend sat up and rubbed her eyes. “I didn’t mean to fall asleep,” she said. “I was helping Nott.”
“Nott went out on a supply run, don’t worry about it,” Beau said. “We’re taking a break, anyway.”
“A cookie break?” Jester said.
“Depends on what Nott gets,” Beau replied.
Jester made her grumpy face – the one that scrunched her nose up and made her look like she had twice as many freckles as she usually did – and gestured Beau to come over. Beau obligingly went and gave her a big hug, at which point Jester shoved her off again. “You’re stinky,” she complained.
“You just think everyone should smell like a candy store all the time,” Beau countered.
“A’ight,” Fjord said as he walked back in, juggling the residence hall kitchen’s electric kettle and entire tea supply, as well as an assortment of mugs that looked like he must’ve raided five different thrift stores to get. “No coffee, Cay. No caffeine for any of you, and I swear, if Nott comes back with any of that shitty 4-hour energy stuff, I’ll –” He stopped as everyone stared at him. “Yeah, she’s right behind me, isn’t she.”
“Yes, she is, and she’d appreciate it if you’d give her a little credit,” Nott’s voice creaked from behind him. She was holding two plastic grocery bags. “I didn’t get Caleb any more coffee, instant or otherwise, and I didn’t get him any energy drinks. There’s studies that those give you heart attacks and Caleb’s heart needs all the help it can get.”
“Oh! Donuts!” Jester squealed as Nott started unloading her bags, including two boxes of powdered donuts. “Nott, you are the beeest, I love you so much, I promise next time you get a cold I won’t be annoyed when you take all my Emergen-C.”
By now, the projector had powered up and started sending a weak signal to the screen on the wall. “Really? Not Naruto?” Nott complained, climbing over the various chairs cluttering the lobby and plopping herself into Caleb’s lap, all pointy limbs and large eyes.
“Why does everyone always want to watch Naruto?” Fjord said, exasperated. “Cay, you want some chamomile?”
“Ja, please,” Caleb says.
Fjord nods and turns the kettle on. “Anyone else?”
“I don’t need tea,” Nott says, ripping open a package of Chips Ahoy. “I have –”
“Nope, nope, RA in the room,” Fjord interrupts. “Whatever you were about to say, I’m probably not allowed to hear it. Jes?”
“Nott brought me hot chocolate,” Jester said, already dumping three hot chocolate packets into one of the mugs. “Deucey would probably like some tea but I think he’s in his room, d’you want me to go see?”
“Nah, don’t want to wake him up, it’s late,” Fjord said.
Beau plopped a teabag of green jasmine in her mug. “Not a word,” she added, jabbing a finger in Fjord’s direction. “Dairon said it’s good for me.”
“Also, you like the taste,” Fjord added.
“Also, I like the taste,” Beau muttered. “But you’re not allowed to tell anyone. I have a reputation to maintain.”
“My lips are sealed,” Fjord assured her. “Everyone settled in and comfy?” He looked around the room, where his residents ten minutes ago had been buzzing with nervous energy, even asleep or absent. Now, they were all piled onto the old furniture of the room like they belonged there, clutching mugs and questionable snacks and sleepy eyes fixed on the dim projector screen. Caleb looked up at him and smiled, patting the chair next to him.
Fjord laughed a little and took the offered seat. “You have been working as hard as anyone,” Caleb said, peering at him over the reading glasses still perched on his face. “You can’t care for everyone else if you’re not caring for yourself.”
“Spoken like someone who knows what he’s talking about,” Fjord said, and let himself relax, at least for the moment.
Tomorrow, there would be finals, and patrolling the halls making sure no one was having a breakdown, and Jester would struggle through her history final, and Beau would frantically put the finishing touches on her sports health paper, and Caleb would ace his linguistics test and then go have a panic attack in the bathroom, but now, everyone was safe, and happy, hearts full of anime and bellies full of tea and processed sugar.
Just the way Fjord liked it.

4.14 - Sex and Violence
I’m going to call this the episode that hellers should watch a hell of a lot more closely. This is a very long post but there’s so much going on in this episode that can’t be summarised and I want to capture it all so I’ll put it under a cut this time.
Dean wakes up and Sam’s not in bed, but in the bathroom whispering on the phone. It couldn’t look more like Sam’s having a secret affair if they tried, which he kind of is, going off with Ruby.
Did Sam just call Dean kiddo? Dude, he’s four years older than you and thirty!
Sam’s puppy eyes and “please” work on the guy they are interviewing who bludgeoned his wife to death in the opener with a meat tenderiser, so he tells them about the stripper he was going to run off with.
Sam goes to speak to the Dr involved in the case and oh my God, Dr Cara has dark hair, and if you change the last two letters, we get Cass! Definitely hinting at Sastiel which is totally end game (me if I was a heller).
Dr Cara asks to see Sam’s badge again which he shows with a lot more confidence than when he was a bikini inspector in the early seasons. He also looks like an FBI agent instead of a kid just out of high school. My bby is growing up
Hellers need to watch this episode if only because the doctor explains what oxytocin is - which explains why Destiel is not now and never will be canon because there is absolutely zero attraction between Dean and Castiel. I don’t even think Castiel;s body would release any hormones.
Dean walks in and Dr Cara brushes him off and goes back to speaking to Sam. Heh. Later Dean accuses Sam of c-blocking him. No Dean, she’s just into Sam and given your brother is really smoking hot, it should happen a lot more often than it does. Dean quickly cheers up though as they seem to be on a case involving strippers, finally.
They figure out through a phone call with Bobby - and how did the Winchesters cope before him? - that they are dealing with a siren.
The strippers are named after Disney princesses: Ariel, Aurora, Jasmine and next up Belle.
Hellers, this line (which Sam says to Dean in the strip club) will be important later in the episode: “Yeah. You see, sirens can read minds. They see what you want most and then they can kinda, like, cloak themselves. You know, like an illusion.”
Remember it looking like Sam was having an affair earlier in the episode? Now Dean’s checking through Sam’s phone to see who he called. He dials a number he doesn’t recognise and it’s Ruby. Dean’s pissed. When Sam returns and Dean tells him he forgot his cell phone, Sam looks guilty. Oh show.
They find out from Bobby that to kill the siren, they need some of his venom which may be in the blood of the guys so they go back to the hospital. Sam and Dr Cara flirt and Dean rolls his eyes.
FBI man, Nick Munroe’s arrived and incidentally, the actor, Jim Parrack, is listed as the same height as Jared on google. I liked Jim’s role in this, quality guest stars in both Cara and Jim.
Nick phones the number on Sam’s FBI card to check their credentials and we see that Bobby has a list of phones covering Federal marshals, FBI, CDC, police and health inspectors which is a nice little detail.
Sam persuades Dean to work with Nick to get him out of the way so that Sam can get the blood samples. Dean agrees, but he’s not doing it for Sam, he’s doing it for the girls.
Sam finds the blood gone. Switch to Dean who is bonding with Nick in the strip club. Nick hands over an evidence bag containing a flower which he says was found at each crime scene. Dean recognises the flower from Dr Cara’s office.
Cut to Sam and Cara talking about the case, and Cara says at one point: “Come on. Haven't you ever been in a relationship where you really love somebody and still kinda wanted to bash their head in? ”I’m thinking yes, Dr Cara and that person is his brother.
Dr Cara offers Sam a drink and for the first time in Sam’s history, he accepts (he’s normally the one stopping Dean from taking things - like the Carrigan’s offering peanut brittle in A very Supernatural Christmas episode.
Dean calls and Sam rejects the call.
Sam and Dr Cara get it on and that’s twice Sam’s been shirtless this season. I mean if I’d worked as hard as Jared to get that body, I’d want to show it off a little too.
Sam returns to the motel - and we get a beautiful shot from behind of what appears to be a freshly showered Sam walking down the corridor to the room. Velma Dinkley is right, those shoulders...
Dean’s not in the room so Sam calls him. There follows a whole conversation which I can’t do justice to, but basically Dean tells Sam he thinks the siren is Dr Cara. Sam tells him he doesn’t think it is. Dean asks Sam if he slept with her, which Sam denies and we get this from Dean: “Holy crap. You did. Middle of Basic Instinct and you bang Sharon Stone? Sam, you could be under her spell right now!” and also this one, “No, It's just...first it's Madison, and then Ruby, and now Cara. It's like... what is with you and banging monsters?”
Upshot of the conversation is that Dean doesn’t trust Sam and he’s going to finish off the case himself. I love Dean, I do, and I’d love to say he’s already under the siren’s spell during all of this, but he’s not. My bitter Sam girl is starting to rise up and Season 4 only gets worse from here on out.
The only consolation I have is that Sam looks smoking hot during that entire conversation. Jared really suits the dark suit and the open necked shirt look.
Sam throws his phone after that conversation and I think we’re supposed to see this as Sam becoming angry and unable to control it. I’d have thrown my phone too after that conversation so try harder on the anger front show.
Dean phones Bobby and asks for his help and then Nick to help him with the case and they start following Dr Cara.
Dean tells Nick his crazy theory, and asks Nick to just trust him on that. To Dean’s surprise and delight Nick agrees. Dean says. “Thank you. That's actually nice to hear.”
They share a drink from Dean’s hip flask which is a bad move on Dean’s part, because Nick then says Dean should have wiped the flask before drinking, revealing he’s the siren.
Hellers, this next line is also important: “ I should be your little brother. Sam. You can't trust him. Not like you can trust me. In fact, I really feel like you should get him outtta the way, so we can be brothers. Forever.”
Sam’s been out - not sure where - and when he returns to the motel, he sees Nick sitting on the bed. He asks what he’s doing there but gets jumped from behind and pulled back against the door with a knife to his throat by Dean. Sam quickly figures out that this is not normal behaviour - even for Dean - and accuses NIck of being “one butt ugly stripper.”
Sam doesn’t struggle in Dean’s arms too much and I got to say he looks kind of comfortable where he is. Sam tries to appeal to get through to Dean, but Nick shows Dean is under his control by getting him to cut Sam’s neck a little.
Hellers, this next line is again important. When Sam accuses Nick of poisoning Dean, Nick answers: “No. I gave him what he needed. And it wasn't some bitch in a G-string. It was you. A little brother that looked up to him, that he could trust.” The episode could not hammer this home more clearly, how on earth do you all misinterpret the hell out of this episode?
Nick sprays Sam’s mouth with venom and I’m only slightly disappointed he didn’t get closer to Sam to do it. Honestly, Jim and Jared only had a couple of scenes but they were good ones and I love when Nick beckons Sam forward and he just goes.
There follows a brilliant scene between Sam and Dean with lots of hurtful things being said between them (again it sounds more like Dean’s accusing Sam of having an affair than anything else).
My favourite line during this is from Sam and the delivery was perfect: “You're too busy sitting around feeling sorry for yourself. Whining about all the souls you tortured in hell. Boo hoo.”
BROTHER FIGHT! And we should have more of these, if for the only reason that Jared and Jensen are seamless in the fight choreography when it’s between the two of them.
Dean wins the fight, by crashing Sam through the motel door and it’s interesting the only time I can remember Sam winning is when he was hopped up on demon blood.
Sam’s lying winded on the door, Dean grabs a conveniently located emegency axe and goes to swing it.
Bobby’s arrived! And just in the nick of time. He stops the axe and stabs Dean to get some infected blood and to Sam’s anguished cries of “no!”, he throws the knife at a rapidly retreating Nick, killing him.
That shot of Sam on the floor at the end of the scene :(
At the end of the episode, they both say they didn’t mean the things they said:
SAM: 'Kay. So... so we're good?
DEAN: Yeah, we're good.
Narrator’s voice: They were not good.
What I am going to point out loud and clear for the final time, is that for all four men, the woman appeared as a stripper and they thought they loved her so the relationship was clearly sexual. For Dean, his siren is a representation of his brother.
Coming up, Sam and Dean go to couple therapy. (Which I’ll come back to in episode 4.18 (The Monster at the end of this book).
If it’s not clear, I loved this episode, even with all the brother angst - ok, if I’m going to be completely honest, especially with all the brother angst.

Relationship ABC’S-Jasper Jordan
A/N:So wow season 5 is the first season without Jasper and it was disappointing not saying that’s related....but lol. It had one plotline I liked, gave me 3 characters I liked and a lot background things I appreciated but as a whole it was worse than Season 3...damn never thought I’d say that haha. Also this is gonna be in a modern setting bc it's hard to cover a lot of these in The 100verse

Jasper always goes above and beyond for your anniversary always surprising you with what he does to keep things “Fresh”

He will wake you up in breakfast in bed from your favorite little cafe including a candle in your pancakes

Jasper has tried to cook for you, but this sweet boy is not the best, but it wasn’t terrible for a first attempt though

He is so domestic while he doesn’t cook, he’ll help you clean up around the apartment a lot

in veronica’s dreams, she is the epitome of a morning person. in reality, she’s a two in the afternoon kind of person. however, her schedule does not allow her to do that. so she does everything possible to transform herself into a morning person. new white rays shine through the window as she lies in her queen sized bed. she lifts up the aqua colored silk eye mask and the warm ball of light filtered through her thin eyelids. it takes her a moment to adjust but eventually her eyes flutter open to reveal the exhaust in her chocolate brown hues. she extends her arm out to her bed side table, grabbing ahold of her phone. she clears out the notifications that do not automatically appeal to her and checks the ones that do. after five minutes of procrastinating, she finally slips out of bed.
ronnie trudges her feet against the hardwood floor, making her way over to her bathroom. with a flick of a switch, the bright light from the crystal chandelier fills up the room. she runs herself a bath. filling the tub with lavender and jasmine bath salts. her le soir silk night slip pools around her feet as she climbs into the warm water. she’s completely and utterly relaxed. the time passes too quickly and she’s back on her feet. she wraps the fluffy white towel around her small frame and walks into her closet. winter, her favorite time of the year. she picks out a classic veronica moon outfit. a light orange and black tartan patterned dress paired with her wool cashmere burberry coat. and with a single spritz of her chanel no.5 onto her chest, she’s ready for the day.

moon jisung, ( chairman and co-owner of urban place resorts / hotels ) met vanessa ross ( retired model, turned fashion designer ) back in 1995 at one of vanessa’s casting calls. that, of course, was being held at urban place’s gangnam location. it definitely was not love at first sight. vanessa’s serious aura made jisung think she was a lawyer. jisung’s spazzy persona had vanessa thinking, “ this man is the chairman ? ” their relationship remained business. until one day jisung accidentally texted the designer one letter, “ q. ” from there, the relationship blossomed.
october 29, 1996, veronica moon was born, the moon family was complete, and they’re absolutely perfect. two years after she was born, jisung and vanessa decided to make a permanent home in conyers farm. therefore, veronica grew up in a really nice household. nice cars, designer clothes, and every day was a vacation. she was constantly spoiled. always given whatever she wants, whenever she wants. and of course, she’s used to getting her way all the time. ultimately making her: bad and boujee. her family is loaded. ( duh every1′s is. ) and she’s always been surrounded by lots of love and luxury.
being the only child, ronnie never had any consequences. in school, she became sort of a bully. she was very ruthless and cold. she had that, “i’ll do anything to get where i need to be,” personality. and if it meant paying someone to transfer the other student threatening her valedictorian spot, then yes, of course she’d do that. people either hated her or loved her. there was no in between. she kept her clique small. ( yes, a clique, which indeed was very exclusive. invite only. think of regina george or blair waldorf. ) she ran her school and she liked to keep it that way.
once she graduated she became more of an adult about things. but, old habits die hard. therefore, some of those traits she developed in school still linger with her til this day. just a little more filtered. ( truly, just a tad bit. ) she got accepted into almost every ivy league college. her mother gave her the option to just pass on college. her father on the other hand, encouraged her to go to school to have the major under her belt. ultimately, she decided to go to yale and major in art history. ( she chose yale because it was only a little over an hour away from conyers. ) though, now, most of her classes are being completed online.
present time: veronica is currently taking a semester off school to really think about what she wants to do after she graduates. at the moment, she spends a majority of her time working on her art. growing up she always had an artistic eye. vanessa ( being a fashion designer ) taught her all the techniques when it came to drawing for fashion. though eventually, veronica steered away from the clothing industry and found herself drawing more intricate works of art.
P E R S O N A L I T Y
too long; didn’t read: an angel with a halo unbalanced with horns, not a devil but not a saint either ?? kind yet has a backbone. softer than what she seems like. humorous and witty though understanding. mistrusting but willing to let loyalty speak. wealthy but tries not to depend on her family. stays away from the king glitterati lifestyle and fronts as if she’s just a normal gal livin’ in conyers etcetc.
she has that tell it like it is personality. she just calls it likes she sees it. even if she’s not exactly right. she’s literally drowning in her riches. making her materialistic af. some people might think she’s that dumb bimbo rich bitch. but she’s actually very VERY smart. witty and intelligent to be exact.
super particular when it comes to most things. ( high maintenance queen. ) she wants things done correctly. so she often runs by the quote, “ if you want things right you gotta do it yourself. ” she absolutely despises like relying on others to get things done when she knows she could do it faster and better. a little bit of a ocd queen.
her instagram = her job. it’s filled with ootds, selfies, food pics. but most importantly: her art. it’s the platform she uses to show people she isn’t just a pretty rich girl. she has talent. ( *insert "the kardashian's have no talent" - proven wrong in 7 minutes vid.* )
she’s very dedicated to her work, thus making her very goal oriented. she’s very creative and she’s actually a very good artist. she’s one of those people that set their mind to something and goes through with it until the end. i’m sure she picked up doodling and bullet journaling while growing up. *plays boss ass bitch vine.*
too long; didn’t read pt. 2: she’s slowly growing out of her tough head of hair and morphing into a young woman so beautiful over the years, but also at times, terrifying ?? self destructive ?? even if she’ll never let anyone see her deteriorate her insides sigh. she’s a hot mess. but she tries her best to hide that shit. yeye sweg.
R E L A T I O N S H I P S
FRIENDSHIPS: she has plenty of friends, at least in her head. in reality, she just knows a lot of people through her many connections. so she has many affiliations. but never real friends. she’s very particular with the people she associates herself with. she believes that those around you reflect who you are as a person as well. therefore, she only surrounds herself with the best of the best. she may not be the best person to tell your secrets too either because she’s quite the gossip queen. but she can probably persuade you to trust her. rip. however, if you are a close friend of her’s, she’s very loyal to those who are loyal to her. which means she’d never do you dirty. but that’s only if she really cares about you. she’s a really great listener and she’s willing to give advice to those are willing to take it. plus, she’s the type to spoil the people she loves. so expect the best christmas gifts ever if u rollin’ with her.
honestly, she really does need to surround herself with good people with genuinely good intentions. so please, someone teach her what loyalty is.

ENEMIES: she was bully in high school. so you know this girl has more than enough enemies ( and haters. ) she uses people, she pushes people around, etc etc. like she has some very evil intentions. she’s vengeful and irrational. she puts fuel to drama and loves to see people crash and burn. why ? she wants that reassurance that she is flourishing above all. she never wants to be belittled and will do anything to remain on the very top. however,,, ronnie does have some good intentions. she leans more to the chaotic neutral side. ( maybe tilted a bit more towards evil, but still. ) deep deeeeep deeeeeeeeeeep down the girl is trust issue central when it comes to letting people in. she can’t help it. she’s like that one rihanna meme, them: you can’t just cut people off. ronnie: *holds a pair of scissors* she doesn’t have problem with letting people go. so people think she’s a bitch because, “how could you just drop our five year long friendship like that.” and she’d just shrug. but really, she’s hurting beyond repair and will go home crying while eating a thing of ben & jerry’s chunky monkey.
there’s always that possibility where a friendship just didn’t work out. maybe they just stopped having time for each other and now it’s just mad awk. whatever it is, an enemy would b beaut.
veronica absolutely needs enemies. give her many. plenty. an abundance please.
LOVERS: i have a feeling she’s dabbled in the dating world. she’s had a few boyfriends, dates, etc. but most likely nothing LONG TERM. possibly because she doesn’t see the point unless it’s for marriage. just like her mom and dad. she has this [ beyoncé vc ] independent woman facade going on right now. which makes her seem like she doesn’t want anyone. but she’s secretly a hopeless romantic. this girl would love to be loved. and she truly needs it. she’s probably read tons of books about love and fluffy shit like that. it’d be a hard mission to win this girl over. but not impossible. she just has high expectations when it comes to relationships. so someone rlly needs to come here and treat this girl right.
