OK I found this in my notes while I was looking through snippets I wrote before Tumblr. Thought I'd share it here, because I actually really like it!
It's from March. So sorry if the writing is cringy or weird 😭😭 I'm pretty sure this was based on the concept art where Mirabel would go into Casita's walls. So. Yeah.
-----
5 year old Mirabel sobbed in the nursery. A month ago her door disappeared. In front of everyone. She had no gift. No way to help her family. And instead of comforting words, he family looked at her in fear and disappointment.
All except for her Tío Bruno and Camilo. They ran over to her immediately, hugging her and reassuring her that she did nothing wrong, why the rest of her family were trying to comfort the villagers, rather than the one in true distress.
Mirabel looked up. She was alone in this nursery. Camilo had left to go to bed (his mamá looked at Mirabel with what she thought was fear, maybe even...anger?). Abuela called her tío, leaving her alone that night.
Her Abuela never came. Her mamá and papá never came. Her sisters nor prima ever came. No one. Evryone started to either be mean to her or ignore her entirely. She only had Casita.
She sniffled, poking her head over the edge of the bed. "Casita, did I do something...wrong?" She asked, big tears falling onto her glass and the floor.
Casita flipped its floorboards in aggressive disagreement.
Mirabel wiped her eyes and layed her head down.
"I just wish I had gotten a door...Everyone looked so sad or mean. Except for Tío Bruno and Camilo. But Tío Bruno is gone and Tía won't let me play with Camilo. A-Are you mad at me?" She asked, worry filling her already glassy red eyes.
Casita once again aggressively disagreed.
Casita fliped the floorboards under the bed, causing Mirabel to bounce off and land on the floor.
"Casita?" She asked curiously. Looking at the time, it was late; 11 p.m. "I-It's late, I gotta get to bed." She stood up and walked towards the bed, nightgown already on.
Casits nudged the toddler away from the bed and towards the door.
"W-What are you doing? Mirabel was only met with more pushing, she was out in yhe hallway. It was empty and silent, and she didn't like it. "I don't wanna be here..." She whispered.
Casita slowed down. Why wasn't she listening, all she needed to do was listen! Casita had a surprise, just look! Casita, despite Mirabel's protest, pushed her to the empty hallway where he door would have been.
"C-Casita I don't wanna..." She teared up again, turning so her back was facing the wall.
Now! Do it now! Casita rumbled its tiles.
Mirabel looked the floor below, her barefeet on the floor. "Why did you brung me here..."
A soft gold glow emitted from behind her. Mirabel noticed the light reflecting onto the ground and swiftly turned to face the wall. She gasped, looking at the shimmering light.
There was no door but the wallpaper was glowing. The 5 year old stepped closer reaching out. "Is this...for me?" She whispered, loik at the tiles for confirmation. Casita flipped its tiles in a way that meant "Yes." Mirabel giddily walked closer, reaching out to touch the wall. When her hand connected with the wallpaper, her hand was warm with magic and she went into the colorful place.
As she took in her surroundings, she smiled. She didn't have a door, but she did have a cool space to play!
The place she was in was wonderful. It wasn't in the walls, but in the wallpaper. It was a rather large room, complete with a bed and furniture set. The bed was suspended in the air by what looked like strings of light? There were butterfly shaped lights hanging from the ceiling, and a nice little area where she could relax if she wanted. There was even a desk area for her to practice sewing!
Spotted a toybox in the corner. Being a 5 year old, she quickly ran over, giggling. Throwing the box open, she found tons of toys. "Toys!" She yelled happily. Grabbing two dolls, she began to play pretend. A wooden board from below her bounced her up and down as she played.
Mirabel smiled. "Gracias, Casita, your the best! I love it here!" She smiled, continuing to play with the toys.
She played for about 3 hours before getting tired. She slipped into the bed, sayig goodnight to Casita as she removed her glasses and fell asleep.
Casita rung a loud alarm clock, awakening Mirabel. She yawned, putting her glasses in. She took a minute to take in her surroundings, before smiling widely, happy that her wallpaper room wasn't a dream. Looking at the clock, she saw that it was 7:00 a.m.
After getting dressed, she found herself using the desk, practicing her embroidery. Her small hands were still wobbly, and she found herself pricking her fingers more than once. She had taken up the hobby after her gift ceremony. No one would play or talk to her very often anymore, so she found herself in the nursery again and again...
Casita once again rang the clock, signaling it was 9:30.
"Time for breakfast!" She giggled, jumping off of the chair, she went back towards the wall. Seeing as there was no door, she assumed she would just go through the wallpaper again. Mirabel lifted her hands towards the wall, and to her surprise, it shone gold.
She hopped through, jumping into the hallway. Looking behind her, the wall was normal, as if she never went through it.
"Whoa...." She whispered. Wait! She had to get to breakfast! She skipped down the hall, humming a tune. These days, she had been sad, dragging herself down the hallway. But now that she has a room, she's so much happier! She can't wait to tell her familia! Maybe they'll be nice again and Tío Bruno will come back?
Casita made the stairs a slide, and she slid down giggling. Out one of the many windows, she spotted her family outside. It looked like thay had just been getting ready to eat. But something about them was...off.
Firstly, there was a large cloud from her tía looming over the table. Second, the whole family looked..disheveled. Tired. Her mamá, papá and sisters look the most distressed. The others either had looks of worry, sadness, or tiredness.
Mirabel curiously went out to the courtyard, peeking around the corner.
"I know you all must be very stressed, but I promise you, we will find Mirabel. She could not have gone far." Her Abuela spoke.
Find her? Mirabel just came for breakfast though. No one came to wake her up from the nursery anymore because that was her job! And last night she had only slept in her new room over night, maybe 5 hours at best! And she knew she had woken up on time, so what did they mean?
"Mamá, we need to find her! My baby, I need my..." Julieta sobbed into her husband. Pepa's cloud thundered, and soon it began to do drizzle over the table. The thunder clapped again, this time much louder, scaring Mirabel.
"Eep!" She squeaked, jumping and hiding behind the door. Everyone snapped their heads towards the sound. Dolores' eyes widened slightly.
Mirabel peaked back around the corner. Casita pushed her foward, revealing the 5 year old. Unlike the rest of her family, she looked like normal. Her big glasses almost falling off of her nose, her blue and white dress ironed and pressed neatly. Her hair was a bit frazzled, but that was rather normal. Her big brown eyes stared at her family.
"Good Morning!" She smiled happily, waving in her usual upbeat manner.
In a flash, the family tackled her in a hug, Julieta and Agustín being the first.
"¡Oh, Dios mio! You're safe! You're here!" Julieta cried. Mirabel only hugged back, confused.
"But I didn't go anywhere?" Mirabel asked confused. Everyone exchanged looks, looking at Mirabel as if she was crazy.
"Mirabel...What do you mean?" Félix asked.
"I was only sleeping for a while? I left for a couple hours to play, but I came back right after. So, I was only gone a couple hours!" She explained.
Julieta reeled back, holding Mirabel at an arms length. A look of worry and fear crossed her face. "Mirabel." She gulped, glancing at Alma. "You've been gone...for 5 days. We searched the encanto up and down, but we hadn't found you."
Mirabel gasped lightly. Had she been that long? No, because Casita woke her up, she KNEW she hadn't been sleep that long. She could only scratch her head in confusion. "But I was in my room playing...A-Ask Casita! I swear, I was in the house!" She tried to explain.
Everyone just stared at her as she tried to explain the situation. That she HADN'T been gone 5 days and that she WAS in Casita.
"Mirabel. I know you weren't in Casita. I definitely would have heard you." Dolores said.
"No, ugh, look, come on." She grabbed her mamá's hand and lead her back into the house. Slowly, the family followed suit. They came up to the hallway and to the empty wall where her door was supposed to be.
"I was in there!" She pointed a small finger at the wall. "My room!"
The family looked at her as if she was insane. A couple visibly flinched.
"Mirabel...baby...I know it's hard but," Julieta went to comfort Mirabel, hugging the small child. "There's nothing there."
"Mirabel, I think you should go back to sleep for a while. You're still in shock." Luisa tried to coax her.
Mirabel only pushed her mother away, stomping her foot. "No! There IS a room there. Look!" She stepped towards the wall. Taking in a deep breath, she put her hand towards the wall. The family watched in awe as the wallpaper lit up gold, Mirabel's hand passing through the seemingly solid wall.
She smiled, retreating her hand. She swiveled back around, facing her family, a look of triumph on her face. She huffed, putting her hands on her hips and standing tall. Well, as tall as a 5 year old could anyway. "See! I told you! I can go into the pretty wallpaper and there's a room!"
No one said anything.
Then absolute chaos ensued.
----
What do y'all think? I actually think I had something going for a minute. Gotta go, but I'll answer some asks once I get home 😩
Gonna call this AU "Wallpaper Walker Mirabel" for now 😭😭

The Recipe to Success
( Daily Writing Challenge Day 2 ) Ethel Translations: Babblin Brook: Cook Grasshopper: Copper - - - - - - - - -
"The issue is that ya fin' too 'ard." Etheline's voice barely stirred Soo-ha from her despair. The Gilnean woman scrubbed hard at the burnt...whatever Soo-ha had been trying to make in hopes of salvaging the pot as the small Pandaren herself looked on in sadness at her charred failure.
There were few times in her life where Soo-ha had felt the sting of inadequacy, but this felt like the sharp twist of a knife. / After all, what Pandaren doesn't know how tah cook? / The words from the Countrypaw she had met during one of her city strolls whispered in her ear with far more venom than had been present when it was said. Soo-ha knew that she hadn't meant anything by it, but that did not make the truth sting any less. Soo-ha didn't know how to cook, nothing above heating up a simple bowl of broth.
"Ey." Soo-ha jumped a bit at the small woman's sharp tone and golden eyes lifted meekly to meet stern hazel.
"Ya kna, there's nah shame in not bein' able ter babblin' brook." Etheline tapped the scrubbing sponge several times against herself. "Sum people fin' Gilneans can't babblin' brook worf a grasshopper but we've seen that's not true, ah? so why assume every Pandaren can? I doubt you're th' hirst 'oo can't."
The edges of Soo-ha's lips twitched upwards briefly as she deciphered Etheline's accent; doing so was far easier than it had been the first time she met her. 'I'd feel better about it if we've met others who couldn't.' Soo-ha's ears fell back against the sides of her head as she signed in response. 'Even still, I can't help how it makes me feel...Even the others at the monastery could manage dumplings and I'm sure Yasashi ate better than gruel in the Shado-pan.' Soo-ha bit down on her bottom lip. 'What kind of homemaker can't even do that?'
Etheline pursed her lips out in thought, hip bouncing slightly against the side of the stove. "I'm sure there's summit ya can manage. loike I said, you're thinkin' abaht this too 'ard. ya should stop thinkin' of cookin' loike a pandaren and start tryin' ter do things loike yourself, your way." From behind the glint of her glasses, Soo-ha watched those hazel eyes soften. "Wifaht murderin' more of our pots and pans, mind ya."
There was wisdom in the other woman's words, Soo-ha knew that much. That evening, while Kimiko was frolicking about the camp and Yasashi was helping patrol, she rolled up her sleeves and got to work. Soo-ha stopped trying to mimic the expertise she had admired from her kin and took on a slower pace. Quick chopping turned into steady and rhythmic thumps, and perfection was made sloppy but it was a special kind of sloppy; a her kind of sloppy.
By the end of the night, Kimiko was delighted by the scent that wafted from the wagon and the cub devoured two whole bowls of the stew Soo-ha had made. Yasashi, who had always stomached his wife's attempts at cooking, tried to hid his pleasant surprise but she could tell, his eye did not twitch when he ate this time.
As Kimiko drifted to sleep in the loft, her parents worked on washing the dishes. Looking over to his wife, Yasashi noted the smile on his wife's lips and inquired with a gentle bump of his hip against her. "The stew was very good tonight, Little bell. What do you call it?"
Soo-ha looked up at her husband and with a mischievous blep of her tongue, she lifted her paws and signed: 'Success.' wide a wide smile.

Midnight Kisses (Vampire! Sniper x Hunter! Reader)
This was intended as a joke (no not really). This was such a wonderful (three part) oneshot that I loved writing! So, I decided to add the details I left out and make it a short fanfic.
PART ONE
I held onto my wooden stake and garlic string as I drove. A vampire had been terrorizing the citizens of Teufort and targeting the women. Mayor Mike hired me to take him down. Of course I had to be on guard and not fall for his charms. I read it in the books. Vampires can be quite the ladies’ man. How do you think Dracula got his three wives?
I walked around town, asking the people what they knew. Some men said that their wives left in the middle of the night and never returned. One boy said that his mother was ghastly pale. She complained that a pair of holes in her neck were the problems. I was taught well in the arts of healing. I did a couple of blood transfusions and she was better. I told her husband to  make sure the windows were closed and that she wore garlic around her neck. I also said to put out a rosary on her nightstand.
I finished integrating the townsfolk and returned to my car. I wrote down everything I had learned and drove to the vampire’s lair. Mayor Mike informed me that it lived in the outskirts of town, near the Badlands. I drove out into the desert and found nothing but cacti and a wooden mine. As I drove back to Teufort, the gas tank ran dry and my car died.
“Dang it!” I exclaimed, hitting the wheel. I got out of the car and checked the tank. Something had slashed it. I groaned, kicking the dirt. Night was falling fast and the vampire would be on the prowl again. I opened my trunk and grabbed the tent. I pitched it and slid in the sleeping bag. I started a fire, which crackled to life. After a while, the sun set and the twilight arrived. I watched as the small fire I had going on reached for the stars.
“Out ‘ere for something?” I jumped up, grabbing my crossbow. I aimed it at the stranger who stood before me. He chuckled, raising up his hands. “Oi ain’t gonna hurt ya,” he said.
“Who are you?” I asked. The stranger pushed down my crossbow.
“Oi am a fellow loike ya that’s stuck in the desert,” he replied. “What about you?” I set down my weapon, trusting the stranger.
“I’m a monster hunter,” I replied. “I was hired to take down a vampire, but I haven’t found him.” The stranger sat down on one of the chairs I brought out.
“You seem loike someone I can trust,” he said. “I’m Mick.” He held out his hand.
“I’m Y/n,” I replied, shaking his hand. Mick smiled. I took a seat next to him, grabbing my onion rings. “Want some?” I asked, holding out the bag. Mick shook his head.
“No thanks, I just ate,” he replied.
“Is that what that is?” I asked, pointing to the little red stains around his mouth. He wiped his hand, looking at the smear.
“Oh, I forgot,” he said. I chuckled, handing him a napkin. He wiped his face, missing some spots. “There, am I good, mate?” Mick asked. I shook my head.
“You still got some on your upper lip,” I said, tapping my own. Mick simply licked it. I giggled. “What’d you have for dinner?” I asked. Mick blushed.
“Oh, Oi, uh,” he stuttered. “You know what? It’s getting late, I should get going.”
“How are you gonna get back to town? You said you were stuck, like me,” I said. His red face reddened. I looked at him. “Mick,” I said, “why don’t you use my tent for the night. I’m sure we can both get back to town together.” He nodded and went in. I grabbed my crossbow and followed.
“Oh, you’re comin’ too?” he nervously asked.
“Yeah, out of the two of us here, I’m the one trained to kill a vampire,” I answered. Mick blushed furiously.
“Uh, I’m a snipah,” he said. I raised an eyebrow.
“Really?” he nodded. I gave a small “tsk” and laid down next to him. “As my guest, you can have the sleeping bag.” As if something had switched in Mick, he immediately became more… curious? No, that wasn’t the right word.
“No,” he said. “Why don’t ya have it? You’re the host.” I blushed. His voice seemed deeper. More, hypnotizing. His blue eyes seemed to entrance me.
“Uh, okay?” I answered. He smiled and unzipped the bag for me. I rolled into it and he zipped me up halfway. “You’re not gonna zip it up all the way?” I asked. Mick shook his head.
“I think you’re foine loike that,” he answered. He laid down next to me and put his arm across me. I started to sweat.
“G-goodnight,” I stuttered.
“G’night,” Mick replied in a suggestive tone. I gulped.
I think I found the vampire.
We quickly fell asleep, well I did at least. For all I cared, the vampire could've been waiting to attack. There were signs to back up my reasoning. First, he was "flirtatious." Secondly, he appeared out of nowhere.
After a while I woke up, looking to my side. Mick had fallen asleep. I checked my neck. No holes. I sighed, relieved. I quietly unzipped my sleeping bag. I opened the tent and closed it. I was going to be free.
“Where do ya think you’re goin’?” I gasped. Mick stood before me, the moon illuminating his face. His eyes were red, not blue.
“You are the vampire!” I exclaimed. I jumped into the tent, with Mick following. I reached for the crossbow, but he was upon me. He bared his fangs, hissing. I screamed, finally grabbing the crossbow. I reached for the silver stake and cut Mick’s face. He yelped and got off. I ran out of the tent. I jumped in the car, but Mick was already in there.
“Hello luv,” he said, lunging at me. I screamed, forcing my hand onto his face. His fangs cut my hand. I pulled back in pain. Mick chuckled, raising me towards him.
“Don’t!!!” I yelled, struggling in his grip. He chuckled again.
“G’night.”
It was a long time that I was in pain and knocked out.
I opened my eyes. It was daylight and I was still in my car, the door broken off. My neck pooled with blood. Some of it was dried already. I groaned, rubbing my neck. Two holes had been punctured in my skin. Right where he hit me. I groaned, reaching for the holy water in my bag. It would sting, but it would stop my transformation into a vampire. I looked out into the horizon.
I was gonna get that vampire.
PART TWO
I opened my eyes, screaming in pain. I dreamt that Mick had attacked me again. It had been a week since he bit me. I managed to close the wound and I hadn’t turned into a vampire. Unfortunately, during the process of sucking my blood, Mick managed to get some of his into my bloodstream. It wouldn’t affect me badly, but we were now connected like soulmates. If he got hurt, I would get hurt.
My big, bulky phone with the antennae began to ring and I answered.
“Hello?” I groggily asked.
“Hey Y/n,” Mike said over the phone. “Have you been able to locate that vampire?” the mayor asked. I stood up from my bed and walked over to the window.
“No, but I’m close,” I replied. “I have some leads on his whereabouts.” I could hear Mike smiling over the phone.
“Good, I hope you can get him killed before my daughter’s birthday in three days,” he said. “Bye bye.” I groaned. There was no way I was going to have Mick killed before her birthday. I walked to the dining area of the hotel I was staying at. People chattered with one another. I grabbed a stack of pancakes from the buffet and orange juice. I sat down near one of the T.V screens. News reporters spoke of the missing women in Teufort. I sighed, setting down the empty glass.
How long did I have until all of Teufort became vampire infested?
I walked back to refill my juice when I saw him. I growled, clenching down hard on my teeth.
Mick was sitting, surrounded by tons of girls. He smiled and laughed, telling jokes, which the ladies laughed at. Tomorrow, all of them would wake up in pain if they stayed. “Move aside, people,” I said, pushing through the crowd of people. I slammed my hands down on the table Mick was sitting at, scaring the vampire and girls. He scoffed, shrugging off the surprise.
“‘Ello luv,” he said. “Long time no see.” I growled again.
“You, me, outside,” I said, turning around. “Now.” Mick looked at his fangirls, then back to me.
“Oi can’t leave now,” he said. “Oi just sat down!”
“You really wanna mess with me?!?” I yelled. He looked at me, surprised.
“Alright, alright,” Mick replied, standing up. He followed me outside to the patio. “What the bloody heck is your problem?” he asked, throwing his arm in the air.
“It’s my job to hunt you down!” I replied. “Mayor Mike hired me to take you down. Since you’re here, I might as well take you down.” I pulled out a silver knife.
“Hold on,” he said, putting up his hands. “You can’t kill me.”
“Why is that?” I asked, pressing the blade against his neck. I caused it to bleed, which in turn affected me. Blood dribbled down our necks.
“That’s why.” I scoffed, removing the knife.
“What do you suggest we do?” I asked, leaning against the wall. Mick chuckled.
“Oi have an idea,” he said. “A deal ya might say.”
“As if I would take it,” I replied. “But if it means breaking our bond, I’m all ears.”
“This was addressed to you.” Mick pulled out an envelope, which I snatched.
“Greetings, you are cordially invited to Mayor Mike’s daughter’s twentieth birthday party,” I read. “It takes place this Thursday at four o’ clock at the convention center.”
“Wot do you think?” Mick asked. I looked up.
“What do you plan on doing to Diana?” I asked.
“She’s got good, healthy blood,” Mick replied, crossing his arms. “A vamp loike me wants that.” I bit my lip.
“So if I take you as my plus one, you'll get what you want?” I summarized. “What do I get in return?”
“Freedom,” he replied. “We’d benefit from that.” I walked towards the vampire.
“That’s true, but I won’t get the money since I would fail the mission,” I said. “Mike would blame me for the vampirification of his daughter.”
“Ya could heal her in the end,” Mick answered. “And after ya do, I’ll release ya.” I rubbed my chin.
“It’s a deal,” I said.
Three days had passes and I was ready.
It was unbelievable that Diana wanted a pool party! I drove Mick and I to the party. Mike had a giant pool installed behind the convention center because his “sweetie boo boo” wanted it. I sighed. I wore a bathing suit under my shirt. Mick decided to go in nothing his swimming shorts all the way. I forced him to bring  extra clothes, just in case. Mick was staring at me all the way.  It was hard not to blush. When someone is looking at you in a way that’ll make your heart melt, it’s really hard. Not to mention he didn't have a shirt on. He also had faded scars all over his chest.
“Oi can see ya staring,” he said. I groaned.
“People only stare because it’s kinda uncommon,” I replied, trying not to turn red. “You stand out because you’re a vampire. They have to be attractive.”
“Ya know Oi wasn’t always loike this,” he said. “I used to be the best assassin slash snoipah to ever live.”
“You’re still alive,” I added. Mick scoffed.
“Anyway, come nineteen seventy two, I returned home, in Australia,” he said. “Oi found out that my parents were killed by a vampire, so Oi went after him, thus, the current me.” I rolled my eyes.
“Sorry to hear about your parents,” I said.
“Naw, it’s foine,” Mick said, kicking his feet on my dash. “Oi was able to keep my blood sucking instincts hidden, until Oi “died.” My doctor found out and kept it a secret. After we defeated some crazed woman, Oi took her base in Organ Needle.”
“So that’s where you’ve been hiding?” I asked. “In the mountains?” I made a turn and parked the car in front of the convention center.
“Yup,” Mick replied, getting out. I followed and locked the car. I didn’t bring a present. I just bought clean clothes and my tools.
“Hey Y/n!” Mayor Mike said. He held his arms out and wide. I didn’t go for the hug.
“Mike,” I said. He smiled, looking at Mick.
“Who’s this? Your boyfriend?” he asked. I blushed. Mick smiled.
“Oi’m their plus one,” Mick answered. “Oi heard the real prize is inside.” Mike laughed.
“Oh Y/n, I love this guy!” he exclaimed. “Also, don’t talk about my daughter that way or else I’ll throw you in jail.”
We walked through the inside of the convention center and back outside. Mick whistled at the sight of people. I groaned.
"Hello ladies," he said as girls came up to him giggling. "Oi'll be in the pool," he said to me.
"Fine by me," I replied. I sat in the shade as Mick was swarmed with girls, including Diana. They were laughing and having fun in the pool. The sun was setting and the party was just getting started. I rolled my eyes at his behavior.
“Y/n, come join us!” Mick exclaimed, waving his hand in the air.
“Yeah, come on!” Diana said. “Don’t be such a sour puss.”
“I like it over here!” I yelled back. Mick got out of the pool. I groaned, rubbing my head.
“Seriously, come join us,” he said, grabbing my hand. I pulled back.
“No way!” I said. “I only came here to get cured,” I spat.
“You do as I say or else,” he growled. I sighed.
“Fine.”
“Alright then.” Mick put his hands on my hips and hoisted me high. “INCOMING!!!” I yelled as I was thrown into the pool. I resurfaced, spluttering the water out of my mouth.
I wasn’t going to enjoy this.
For a while, I stayed near the deep end, far from the crowd. Mick noticed I was far from the pack and swam to me. "You seem lonely," he said.
"I'm not." He joined my side. He took off his glasses, raising his eyebrow. "Okay, maybe I am," I said.
"What's going on?" Mick asked.
"I'm breaking my vow to my teacher," I said. "I promised him that if there was another vampire, I wouldn't hesitate to get the job done."
"Tsk, that's harsh," he replied.
"I know, but it was my mistake that got teacher killed," I said. "It was a long time ago. I was just starting out as a hunter. My teacher and I were tasked to kill this vampire he had an encounter with before. They were both in a similar situation like us. When the time came, I couldn't bring myself to kill the vampire. She used to love teacher, but because I had arrived, she tried to kill me. Teacher sacrificed his life to save me, taking the vampire with him. As punishment, I am not allowed a student." Mick stared at me.
"Oi didn't need to hear that," he said.
"I'm sorry," I said.
"Also, did your teacher have a name?"
"He never told me," I replied. "So when I buried him, next to his lover." I looked up to Mick. "I'm sorry, I'm probably-." He hugged me tightly.
"Just so you know, it wasn't your fault," he whispered. My heart fluttered. Was he being nice? "Take a swim with me, Y/n," he said. "You can hold onto me." And so I did. I held onto his back and he made laps around the pool. It was nice.  I got tired and got out, promising Mick I'd return. "You better," he said. "Oi intend to keep my end of the bargain."
"I'll try to," I said.
I came out of the public showers, dressed in my clean clothes. Night had fallen and the lights illuminated the pool. I looked for Mick, but I didn’t see him.
“He must be at the buffet or something,” I said. I checked at the table, but I didn’t see him there. I walked back into the building and looked around.
I looked until I found him.
“Uh, Oi didn’t uh, Oi didn’t expect to see ya here,” Mick said, faltering. He was with Diana, who was already bitten. She looked at me surprised.
Diana and Mick had been kissing in the corner. She had her hands all over him and he had her resting on his lap while leaning against the wall. I turned red with fury and embarrassment. It broke my heart.
“I gotta go,” I said, turning around. I rushed out of the building with tears streaming down my face. I couldn’t fall for this man! Sure he was in my dreams a lot and I couldn’t stop thinking about him and I felt so fluttery around Mick.
I stopped halfway through the exit.
Fudge.
A/n: Yes, there was a whole pool sequence.
PART THREE
I shook my head. No, no, no! I wasn’t falling for him! There was no way I was falling for Mick! He was the enemy! If we were together, he'd cheat or turn on me. I didn't like him! I shouldn't like him! I growled and punched the wall. It hurt like heck, but it was worth it.
“Luv, wot was that about?!” I turned around. Mick was standing behind me, holding his bloody fist that matched mine.
“You deserved it!” I yelled. “I know you felt that and it felt good for me!!!” I stormed off.
“Luv wait-.”
“CALL ME LOVE ONE MORE TIME AND I’M GONNA GET YOU!!!!” I roared. “YOU DON’T KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO BE HUMAN ANYMORE!!! YOU NO LONGER FEEL, YOU NO LONGER HAVE EMPATHY OR SYMPATHY!!! ALL YOU CARE IS ABOUT SURVIVAL, EVEN IF IT MEANS MESSING WITH SOMEONE'S FEELINGS!!!” I stood there panting before the scared Mick. He looked shocked.
“Oi didn’t know you felt that way,” he softly said. “Oi’m sorry.”
“No sorries!” I spat. My voice cracked and he noticed. “I won’t hold my end of the bargain.”
“Wait, don’t!” he exclaimed. I ran off, heading towards the car. I slammed the door closed as I entered. I reached for my bag but Mick’s hand stopped me. “Oi won’t allow you to kill me,” he said.
“LET GO!!” I yelled, kicking him off. He grunted as I pushed him hard into the dash. The pain shot up my ribcage. I unzipped the black bag and pulled out my crossbow. I turned around and was face to face with the vampire.
No fangs were bared.
He was close enough to kill me.
I yelled and pulled the silver arrow out of the crossbow. I pushed the weapon’s tip into his chest. Mick clenched his teeth and clawed at his chest, but I pushed the silver tip in deeper.
“Stop,” he said hoarsely. Blood dripped down his mouth. The same happened to me. I pushed it in more. I felt something go through my chest as I kept pushing. I screamed as the arrow reached his heart.
I couldn’t do it anymore.
I pulled it out.
Mick grabbed his chest, panting. I slipped from underneath him and sat down in the driver’s seat.
“I’m sorry,” I whimpered. “I’m so sorry. I almost killed you over some stupid crush.” I wiped the fresh tears from my face. “I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry.” I broke into a sob. Mick sighed and hugged me. I harshly pulled away. “No, no, no! Stay away from me!” I yelled, scrambling to the edge of my seat.
“Luv, Oi didn’t mean to hurt ya loike that,” he said. I whimpered as he reached out for me. He pulled back his hand. I looked down at where the stake pierced his heart. Mick looked down too. He was bleeding just like me.
“I hurt you badly,” I said in between gasps.
“Don’t worry about me,” Mick said. He reached out again, softly grasping my arm. He pulled me forward. “You’re injured, lemme help,” he said. I shook my head, pulling away. I slammed the door open and ran out. I sped up. My teacher taught me to use the wind to my advantage. Keep your silver nearby, that helps too.
I ran and ran. Injured, Mick couldn’t keep up with me. I had dug the silver way too deep. I was in pain, I wasn't going to make it. "Wait up!" Mick called out. I ran faster. Clouds gathered in the sky and raindrops slowly fell to the ground. By the time I reached the hotel, I was soaked.
“Jimmy!” I cried out. The bellhop looked at me. “If a guy with sideburns and a bleeding chest comes in, tell him I left since he’s gonna ask. Tell Cynthia too.” Jimmy was scared.
“Whaddaya mean?” he asked.
“His name is Mick,” I replied. “Don’t let him in, he’s after me.” I ran off for the elevator.
“Should I call the police?!?” Jimmy yelled.
“No, I can handle this!” I cried back. The elevator doors closed and I was transported to the fifth floor. As soon as I got into my room, I packed everything up, except for my healing kit. I put everything under the bed and turned off the lights. I took my phone and rolled under the bed. I dialed the number that belonged to Jimmy.
“Hello?” he asked.
“Hey Jimmy, it’s me, Y/n,” I answered. “Is Mick here yet?” There was some silence.
“Did you say he had sideburns and blood?”
“Yeah,” I said. I removed my shirt.
“Then he’s here,” Jimmy replied. “He’s walking up to the counter. He’s asking Cynthia if you’re here.”
“Did you tell her not to say anything?” I asked, cleaning my wound.  I winced as the cleaning alcohol touched my raw skin.
“Yeah,” Jimmy responded. “She’s telling him you left in a hurry. The man’s leaving.”
“Make sure he does,” I said.
“Roger.” The phone call ended. I sighed. I grabbed the needle and thread. I slowly closed up the wound, wincing with every piercing. The phone began to ring. I answered. “Heya Y/n,” Jimmy said. “He’s gone.” I exhaled.
“Thanks Jimmy,” I replied. “Let me know if he comes back.”
“Hey, are you good?” he asked.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” I said. “I should get going, bye.”
“Bye.” I hung up. I rolled out from underneath the bed and I finished closing the wound. I jumped onto the bed and put my shirt on. I looked at the clock on the nightstand. It was only eleven forty. I decided to nap for a while before really leaving Teufort.
I closed my eyes. I wanted to sleep this all away. The rain was peaceful as it lulled my tired self.
I woke up, screaming again. My wound, even though patched up, began to sting. I kept screaming, rolling all over the place. I reached under the bed for the painkillers and was successful in taking one. I had forgotten that Mick and I were still connected. I yelled, throwing my pillow at the door as it opened.
“Ow, luv, why did ya do that?” I groaned again.
“Get out,” I said. Mick emerged from the shadows.
“But are you alright?” he asked. I didn’t answer. I looked down at my feet.
“Are you fine?” I asked, looking up. “I felt pain in my chest. It’s not my pain.” Mick sighed.
“Oi was fixing myself up before I walked into your room,” he said. “I was self healing on my way in.”
“Is that what it was?” I asked. He nodded.
“Catch.” He picked up the pillow and threw it at me. I caught it.
“I’m sorry,” I said. Mick walked over to the bed and sat down.
“So am I,” he said. “Oi shouldn’t have done that.”
“No, no, it’s in your nature,” I replied. “How do you think Dracula got his wives?” Mick laughed. I softly chuckled. “You know, you’re not so bad,” I said.
“That’s right,” he said. "If you give me a chance, Oi'll show you I'm not bad." I tried to smile. He sighed, tucking some loose hair behind my ear. "Oi just don't want us to end up loike your teacher."
"That was tragic," I replied. "I don't ever want to hurt you again."
"Then it's a deal," Mick said. "We won't hurt each other ever again."
"Deal," I said.
“Hey, what time is it?” he asked. I looked at the clock.
“It’s exactly midnight,” I replied.
“Good.” Mick gently turned my face towards his and kissed me. I was surprised, but quickly melted into it. I kissed back, caressing his cheeks. “I love ya,” he said in between kisses.
“Love you too,” I answered.
Midnight kisses, they are the best.
PART FOUR
A/n: BONUS CHAPTER BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!! Also, this was inspired by my parents. They remind me of this.
Mick and I were in the pool. The rain had stopped and it was the perfect opportunity. Yeah it was only one in the morning and the pool was supposed be closed but no one locked up and this was Mick's way of making it up to me.
"Ah, this is nice," I said. I floated on my back. Mick was making laps around the pool.
"You sure it wasn't noice back at the other pool?" he asked, panting. I shook my head.
"It wasn't all quiet like this," I replied. "I feel relaxed." I did a small flip underwater before returning to my relaxed position.
"That swim we did was noice, wasn't it?" he asked.
"It was just a couple of laps," I said.
"Oi'd do it again with you." He swam next to me. "Wanna do it again?"
"Nah, I'm tired," I replied, yawning. "Maybe tomorrow."
"Alright." We both walked out of the pool. Man, Mick was sexy. For once, I could think that without scolding myself. I dried myself off with a towel while he shook the water off. I laughed. "Works every time," he said with a smile. We were arm in arm as we walked back to the room. I rested my head against his shoulder. I felt like we were a real couple, walking together. We got back to the room where I took a quick shower. Mick ate out of my mini fridge. "Luv, you out yet?" he asked.
"Yeah," I replied, brushing my teeth. I walked into the bedroom. The T.V was on, talking about Mayor Mike and the accident with his daughter. "Oh yeah," I said. They explained how she was found with holes and that doctors were taking care of Diane. They even mentioned me, the hired hunter that was going to take down Mick. "Eh, I'll deal with that in the morning," I said, returning to the bathroom.
Mick was next to use the restroom. He showered, but never got in pajamas. He wore a unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt, shorts, and believe it or not, socks. "What's with the socks? I asked.
"Oi loike 'em," he replied, joining me on the bed. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "Oi love being with my favorite hunter," he said. I smiled.
"And I love being with my favorite vampire," I replied. We shared a quick kiss before turning our attention to reruns of old shows. We fell asleep in each other's arms.
The next morning I took a blood sample from Mick and presented it to Mike. "I took care of him," I said. "Found him in my room, trying to kill me. Luckily for me, I took him down."
"Splendid!" Mike exclaimed. "Everybody look! Y/n killed the vampire." I handed him the sample and he handed me my money.
"For free, I can heal your daughter," I said. And I did. I returned Diane to her normal state. I was hero to these people! After my job was done, I returned to a still alive Mick. "They fell for it," I said. He smiled. The shutters were shut since he'd burn up. I didn't mind.
"Now it's my turn to finish the job," he said, standing up. He took my hands. I felt this relief. A burned had been lifted.
"What did you do?" I asked.
"We're no longer connected," Mick replied. "Lucky for you, we'll still be together." I smiled, kissing his cheek.
"I'm glad to be with you," I said. "And guess what? I got you this stone which will allow you to be in the sun," I said, pulling out the ring. "I hope you don't mind, but I got in put into a ring. I got a matching one too."
"Thanks luv," he said.
"Will you marry me?" I asked jokingly. I got down on one knee.
"Not after we date for a couple months," he replied. "But yes." I smiled and I slipped on his ring. "Where's your ring?"
"In the bag," I said, pointing to it. Mick reached for the box. He opened it and this time, he got on his knee.
"Now, I know you've hated me in the past but we've made up," he said. "And this is a joke," he muttered. I chuckled. "Will you marry me?"
"Of course!" I replied. "Just in a couple months, like you said. Unless we break up."
"Don't say that, you'll jinx us," Mick said, slipping on my ring.
"I'm joking," I said, laughing. He stood up.
"Oi know," he said. "That's what Oi love about you, you're funny."
"Hey, how did you find me in the desert anyway?" I asked, thinking about our first meeting.
"Oi was flying over when I saw your car parked," he replied. "Oi checked it out and that's how Oi found you." I smiled.
"I don't regret letting you in," I said. "If you exclude the pain, this has been wonderful so far."
"True," he replied.
For a couple nights, we stayed at the hotel. We ate, swam, read, watched T.V, had cuddling and kissing sessions, and slept on a loop until we got tired. Mick and I agreed to move into his base in Organ Needle. I could get a job in Teufort and he could get back into the mercenary business.
"Seems sniping's a good job," I said. We lived with each other for quite some time now. About two months since we met, we lived under the same roof. Our jobs paid us well. I kept monster hunting as a side job, in case the agency ever needed me. I kept Mick a total secret.
"Oi know," Mick replied. "It's hard work, pays well, and it's outdoors!" I smiled, sipping my coffee.
A couple more months had passed. We were going out or staying home. Mick agreed that he didn't want to be immortal. He wanted to age with me. So, I removed his immortality with a simple cure. As a bonus, I removed all weaknesses, including burning up. He still kept the ring though.
One night, he took me to the beach, which was far away. Mick claimed he had the week off so we went for a mini vacation. We took a stroll on the sand and had a nice dinner. "Y/n, we've known each other for sometime," Mick said. "Oi have loved you since Oi attacked you." I frowned. "Well, when you started to appear in my dreams I fell in love. Anyway, my dreams gave an honest depiction of what you were and I fell in love what that. These last couple of months, Oi fell in love all over again."
"What's your point?" I asked.
"My point is," he replied, getting down on his knee, "will you marry me? For real this time?" I gasped, about to cry.
"Yes," I said with no hesitation. "For real this time."
So that leads me up to date. I was now walking down the aisle of the church. People watched as I nervously made my way to the alter. Mick was handsome in that black suit. It really brought out his eyes. It happened so fast. I was happy, no longer scared or nervous as we said our vows. The priest finally declared us married.
"I love you for all eternity," Mick whispered.
"And even in death, I'll still love you," I replied.
The crowd went wild as we shared our kiss as an official married couple.
And it all started with those midnight kisses.
THE END

ok this chap. is very long so im splitting to parts byeeee sorry this took so long school sucks :( but full throttle does not :)
Ahhh thank you!!!!!
Yeah, I don’t think Tommy really realized how much the public knew until that interview with Wilbur, either. The public saw and knew (to a certain extent) that something was wrong or “off” about Tommy and his chief’s partnership for a long time, but no one ever tried to step in and ask about it, or tell him that he should leave him and find a new chief, or say anything at all on Tommy’s behalf… Writing that part hurt.
Idk how far you’ve gotten by the time this response comes (lol sorry it took so long. University stole my soul for a little while), but… the moment he “fucks up” will definitely be coming 👀
Thank you for the message!!! I giggled at the hermit crab😂

SALVATION POST!!!!
Tumblr media
This is my salvation post.
I am loiking for my FREEDOM post where I detailed my sin. How it is started, how I couldb't control it and my struggles of fighting it using my own strength. How foolish I to write that but I was compelled too. While doing so, I was told that "Someone might see this, you know?" I was carefree. I was stubborn. I didn't kniw how I ended the post. Probably at a wrong note, like accepting my sin or so.
😅🤣
However, I tried my best to understand why I kept doing it. I do not like it, it is ruining ny brain and how I see things and people. Sexual sin is very dangerous and the children are the most vulnerable to it that is why education is really really important. Especially from the parenrs. Things shouldn't be a taboo when our intention is preparing the soul for living.
Anyways, as I have loved the Bible growing up. Jesus Christ was always there with me and my Father in Heaven, too. Also, the ever-so-gentle and carefree Holy Spirit is with me as well. People would look at it funny but meh. That's up to you. The paradox of a christian life is that you study the word but you keep sinning as well. That is understandable since we are all humans. God is aware of that, very much aware.
While studying the Bible, I came across a song by Jonathan Ogden - With You. Before the song is an audio clip of a preacher, a commenter said that it was Martin Luther Jones. The comment said that he was the best 21st Century Preacher. All my references was in the Bible, like David, Solomon and Paul. However, they are long dead and this 21st centiry preacher piqued ny interest. So, I listened to him. I did it daily and follow his words to study the Bible word per word and ge has this where he is taking the context of the words. He makes sure that the original text has the essence of the translated version. I have studied the Bible the way he did but MLJ's preaching is so different. He is my grandpa. I call him "My Lolo" amd I would often say "Papagalitan na ko ni Lolo."
He has this preaching titled: A Vain and Empty Life 🤍 in 1 Peter 1. The verse I highlighted, 1 Peter 1:7-8
"Thesr have come so that your faith-of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire- may be proved genuine anf may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Though you have not seen him, you live him: and even though you do noy see him now, you believe in him and are filled with inexpressible and glorious joy."
But now, let us see verse 6 " In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 🤧 "
How seet is the love of God. 🤧🤧
Takeaway from my learning:
1. People are all sinners, none is holy
2. We all have given a present- the blood of Jesus Christ. That cleanse our sins once and for all.
3. We are all humans and we are susceptible to sin daily. However, God is cleansing our hearts DAILY :)
4. Daily sins are like bullets hitting you, you have the power to control it. When you want to go back to sinning. Even in your mind, it is not you but the sin in you. You have to control it. 💛
I can write down many many verses but unless one uses the scriptures and keep it in his heart, those scriptures will remain words.
For everyone who might find this lost in the millions of posts in the web of our electronic devices. Bless your heart.
As for me and my whole self, we will serve the Lord. 🧠🫀💃 👋🙂

Love: Something That Is Quite Ineffable (Cats 1998) (Pt. 2)
Thanks to @the-rum-tum-hatter for this first request of this new series that I’m writing for CATS 1998. If you have a request, please leave it in the comments, send an ask, or dm me of your pairing. Be sure, though, to not use any cats that were previously used before. At the time of writing, the ships used were Platoria, Tuggoffelees, Demestrap, and now Coricojerrie. Thanks again for reading. Hope you enjoy.
As you know, Love is a peculiar thing. It’ll make friends with you, make you chase it, or even provide a sense of comfort. But, sometimes, Love makes us question why. LITERALLY! You look at your soulmate and ask shaking your head sometimes, “...Why...? Why did I fall for you?” And then you fall in love with them even more anyway. Yeah. Coricopat found himself in that situation multiple times with his mate, Mungojerrie.
One time in particular that he likes to share was when he was meditating with his sister in their shared den and linking a brainwave. Their breathing was in perfect sync as their chain grew stronger, until a scream and loud crash from outside disturbed their peace. The two glanced up at each other with Tantomile sighing sightly annoyed as her brother gave a nervous chuckle, both of them knowing the cause of their shattered focus. “I’ll check on him,” the psychic male uttered as he went into a meditative state to find his boyfriend in his mind’s eye.
Come to find out, as he predicted, the calico tom was tangled in a rope-like object with Pouncival and Tumblebrutus not sure what to do. Letting out an exasperated sigh, Cori returned from his vision and stood up while announcing, “My mate needs me...again.” “Go on then,” ushered Tantomile, “I’ll put on some tea for when you get back so we may continue our session.” The tom of the twins gave a nod and stepped out to the junkyard.
Taking a deep breath and closing his eyes, he envisioned the quickest path to get to his boyfriend in danger. Four minutes later, he found himself at the scene of the matter: a large pile of trash having strewn across the ground, Pouncival and Tumblebrutus sitting worriedly to the side of the mess, and Mungojerrie caught and tangled in a roped hammock that had been cut up and knotted strangely somehow all with a look of embarrassment behind a sheepish smile. “Uh..Hehe. Hey, Cori,” the clumsy calico greeted. “What happened this time?” the paranormal cat asked the two witnesses.
The two kits explained that while practicing their flips, they asked Jerrie to demonstrate a particular trick that would propel them even higher. Well, when he obliged, he went into a back-handspring then went to reach for a protruding bar in a pile of trash that was now toppled over. In doing so, he quickly realized, but still too late, that there wasn’t enough support on the bar to hold him. So, it slipped out and fell, dropping him into a laid out hammock almost like a safety net in a circus and rolling down to the ground while getting more and more wrapped up and tangled.
Coricopat gave another sigh and shook his head as he loomed over his lover before asking, “How do you keep getting yourself into these situations?” “Oi don’t know! It jus’ sor’ of ‘appens, it does,” the cockney cat whined as he scratched at the thick rope to no avail before begging, “Get me out, please?” The psychic tom looked around for a moment before his eyes focused in on a rusted pocket knife that fell free from the debris. It was likely dulled from how old it was and the reason it being in the junkyard in the first place, but it was better than nothing. Taking the handle between his teeth, he walked back over and noticed the nervousness in his mate’s eyes. “Hon’t worry. I’hh hust cu’ de ro’e and ge’ yo’ ou’,” he reassured with the filling mass in his jaw.
Carefully and precisely, the tom sawed at the proper cords of rope and freed his tomfriend. Climbing out from the mess, Mungojerrie stretched from being curled up and shook out the rubble in his fur. He then turned and moved to nuzzle his mate in thanks before he felt a paw push back on his chest. He let out a questioning whine until Cori explained, “What were you thinking, Jerrie? You could have seriously gotten hurt. You need to be more careful when pulling stunts. I know you’re notorious for being acrobatic with your sister, but the junkyard is not as stable as a neighborhood. A higher risk requires more caution. Do you understand me, Jerrie?” the calico in question looked down with shame like a scolded kitten as he gave a nod of understanding.
“As for you two,” the Abyssinian acknowledged the two kits who watched the whole exchange, “ Always make sure that you’re practicing your tricks in a safe area where things can stand properly on their own or in a wider, open space. Now, neither of you are hurt are you?” The two shook their heads no, and Cori replied, “Good. Now, I’m not TOO opposed to you seeking advice from Jerrie...” “Oi!” the calico called out in mock offense. The supernatural cat ignored him and continued, “...but make sure it can be done safely where no one is at risk. Do I make myself clear?” The duo nodded fervently and scampered away from the mess.
Giving an approving nod, Coricopat sat down for a moment in silence with his eyes closed. Jerrie stood up and shyly walked over to his mate silently and sat beside him. "You interrupted my linking session with Miley," the stoic tom revealed. Even though he didn't fully understand the concept, the calico gasped in shock knowing how important linking was to the Psychic Twins. "Oh, no, Cori, Oi'm SO sorry! Really, Oi am!" he apologized, "Oi never meant to disturb such an important thing, honest!" "I know, at least just find something peaceful to do until we're done, please," the tom in question asked. The multi-colored male nodded eagerly before giving his mate an apologetic nuzzle on the head and walking away.
As he watched his tomfriend walk off, Coricopat gave another sigh and shook his head with a smile, thinking to himself, "How and why did I fall in love with him?" "That's a question that still baffles me to this day," he heard his sister's voice reply. "M-Miley! I'm on my way. Jerrie was in a bind, and needed some help," the brother tried to explain as he raced back to the den. "I know. Just hurry up. The tea is ready and I want to get back soon as possible," the Abyssinian queen replied somewhat jokingly.
An hour later, the Psychic Twins stepped out of their den and went on their separate ways for the rest of the day. The brother turned a corner and found something quite surprising. A soft, medium sized, galaxy patterned rug arranged with a couple of dead birds and rodents, little flowers, and various gems and crystals. He stalked forward toward the items when Mungojerrie popped up next to him all of a sudden. Geez, that cat walks quieter than a shadow!
"J-Jerrie!" Coricopat acknowledged, having been startled a bit, which was beyond unusual. "Hehe...hello, Cori," the calico tom greeted shyly, his ears pressed down and his tail drooped, and explained, "Oi'm really really sorry again for interrupting your linking today. Oi wanted to make it up to you, so Oi found different things that Oi thought would interest you. Oi hope you're not still mad at me." The Abyssinian looked back at the decently arranged setup and smiled before nuzzling his mate on the neck. "I was never mad at you, Jerrie," he admitted, "I was annoyed that the linking was interrupted, but I was more worried you'd hurt yourself. I enjoy your stunts. I really do, but it scares me to know that the tom I love could be injured just from simply misplacing his paw. I love you, Jerrie, and I don't want anything bad happening to you."
The notorious thief returned the affection in understanding and replied, “Oi love you too, Cori. An’ Oi do troi to be careful. It just ‘appens sometoimes, it does. Oi’m usually much be’er when Oi’m with Teazer, so maybe that’s wha’ it is. Oi don’t know, bu’ Oi DO know tha’ Oi promise to be more careful for you. To be a hundred percent honest, Oi always question how or why you still put up with someone loike me. Oi though’ Oi’d ‘ave drove you away by now.” “Well,” the intellectual tom said thoughtfully, “you do tend to do things that scare me and leave me wondering why, but then you do things like this,” he gestured to the scene that was put together, “and that always remind me of how sweet, understanding, and considerate you really are. That’s why I stayed. Because you are the only one aside from Miley that understands me. Plus, you’re fun to be around.” Overjoyed by the sentiment, Mungojerrie pounced on his mate and cuddled into him even more, the pair laughing giddily in their ever growing love for one another. “I love you, Jerrie.” “Oi love you, too, Cori.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, this was an example of Love being a confusingly goofy ball of antics. You question how or why you stayed despite the ridiculous happenings involving (or being caused by) your partner, and yet you wind up getting reminded of why. And it somehow makes you fall for that person all over again with a newfound love that is quite ineffable.
Junkmetra Cupid
Okay, so I saw a writing prompt that went like this:
“After coming home from a failed date, you find a stranger drinking and sitting on your sofa. With an annoyed expression, the stranger explains that they’re cupid and they’re about to get fired because of your inability to get a second date.”
And the first thing I thought was this:
Junkrat comes home after a failed blind date, ready for a night of beer, action movies and trying to get the bitter taste of rejection out of his gut and finds a pretty dark haired sheila in his now suddenly cleaned apartment (which he is not okay with because he can see trash bags full of his stuff, but at least the dishes were finally done, he’d been putting that off for ages) drinking a goon that someone had given him at one of his many house parties (probably Angela) out of a wine glass he knew wasn’t his.
But while he wants to throw her out the window, he’s pretty tired from the bad date. So he instead pulls out a beer from his fridge and asks who the fuck she is and why the fuck did she break into his house.
“Ah,” she said, “My name is Satya Vaswani, but you may call me Symmetra. I am a Cupid.”
“... how much of tha’ goon have you had?”
“Only two glasses, and I assure you, I am not drunk. I am, however, in a bad position with my superiors because of you.”
“Th’ fuck I do?” He asked, annoyed at the accusation. He’d never seen this woman before in his life, how could he get her in trouble when this was his first time meeting her?
“You haven’t gotten a single second date in your entire life!” she cried out, annoyed.
“Okay, it’s bad enough tha’ ya broke in, trashed my stuff ‘n are drinkin’ my goon, but now yer jus’ bein’ a bitch!” He snapped, “I can’ help it if every date I’ve been on ends up with some sheila ditchin’ me or passing out or needin’ ta go ta th’ hospital ‘cause they didn’ know they was allergic ta shellfish or-”
“She knew about her allergy, she just really didn’t like you.” Symmetra told him.
Okay, that was the last straw. He put his beer can down, took her wine glass out of her hand and when she went to reach for it with her metal hand, only for him to take it, fling her over his shoulder and carry her towards the door.
“PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT!” she demanded.
He reached the door, opened it, then dropped her outside, “Cheers!” He said as he then slammed the door in her face and locked the door behind him.
Crazy bitch. He sighed as he looked at the trash bags in his kitchen, seeing several projects of his sticking out of them. He’d have to pull everything out and inspect it for damage.
He groaned as he picked up his beer with his flesh hand and dragged a trash bag over to the living room, turned on the telly and took a big swig of his beer.
So much for his Saturday night...
______________
The next morning, he woke up to the sound of a knock on his door and a crick in his neck. He gingerly rubbed it with his flesh hand before pulling himself off the couch with a groan to see who it was.
He winced as he moved his head down towards the peep hole and groaned, “Fuck off.”
“We need to talk.” Symmetra said from the other side of the door.
“No, you need ta get stuffed ‘n lay off me.” He said as he walked away from the door to inspect his fridge and pantry for breakfast.
He had a few beers, some might be okay milk and some beef jerky.
Yeah, that’s not the breaky of champions.
“I’ve brought breakfast.” She said, “Can we please just talk?”
His stomach howled at the mention of food and he groaned into an empty cabinet.
He walked over to his door and opened it a crack, “Wha’cha got?”
“Chocolate croissants.” She replied, holding up a bag from a posh bakery down the street.
His stomach roared and he, albeit unhappily, opened the door for her, “Foine, but if ya talk shit loike ya did last noight ‘n ‘m throwin’ ya out th’ window.”
She nodded and walked inside, looking a bit sheepish as he closed the door behind her and she followed him into the living room again. at the sight of the table, her face slipped from sheepish to disgusted and annoyed. But she said nothing, probably assuming that she deserved for some of her hard work to be ruined.
He pushed a chair from across the room towards a still clean portion of the table and motioned for her to sit, which she did while he got some paper plates.
“i am sorry for telling you about the allergies...” She said as she carefully (and only touching the wax paper the people who worked there used) placed their croissants onto the plates, “As well as breaking into your home and drinking your wine, I was out of line.”
“Ya also threw out me projects.” he said with a mouth full of pastry.
“I am not sorry for cleaning up.” she said firmly, frowning at the new crumbs on the messy table.
He glared at her, but continued to eat as she continued, “And while I realize we got off on the wrong foot, I honestly do want to help you.”
“With what?” He asked, sending more crumbs onto the table.
“Getting you a partner.” She said.
He swallowed, “Yer still on ‘bout tha’ shit?”
“Yes,” She said, “It’s my job.”
He let out an annoyed groan before taking another bite as she pulled a tablet out of her purse and began tapping on it, “Look, I dunno what yer on ‘bout, but I don’ need yer help, ‘roight? I’ll sign whatevah ya need ta ‘n ya don’ have ta bother-”
“You lost your parents when you were young and have no family, your close friends are all starting to have relationships of their own and you’ve felt out of place or like a third wheel as of late.” She interrupted, “I am not leaving someone as lonely as you to fend for themselves.”
He swallowed, the chocolate not tasting half as good as it did a second ago at her words. She hit the nail on the head, he was feeling left out and alone lately, and while her offer was tempting, he wasn’t sure if he was going to like what she would try to do to him. How she would probably change him, she looked like a proper suit and that just wasn’t him, how could he be sure anyone she set him up with would actually like him for him?
“Done pretty good so far.” He grumbled.
“And with my help, you won’t have to be alone.” she said.
“But can ya find someone who will like me fer me?” He asked her.
She looked up from her tablet, her face surprised for a moment before giving him a surprisingly charming smile, “That was the plan, although it does make things more challenging.”
“Oi.” He warned, thumbing towards the window, “First ‘n last warnin’ ‘fore yer out th’ window.”
“I mean no offense, I am simply agreeing with you, it’s better to be with someone who likes you for you and not for a role you feel you need to play.” She said, “So you can rest assured, I will not make you pretend to be anyone you are not. I simply wish to help you find someone you can be happy with.”
Jamie stared at her for a moment, uncertain, before leaning back in his seat, “You’ll just keep comin’ ‘round no matter what I say, won’ ya?”
She stared at him, looking a bit uneasy as she slowly slipped her tablet back into her bag, “I’m supposed to, but if you truly wish for me to leave you alone...”
“‘N what’ll happen if ya leave me alone?” He asked.
She hugged herself and stared at her barely touched croissant on her plate.
He groaned and slumped forward, annoyed.
“Foine.” He said, holding out his hand, “Jamie Fawkes. Guess I’ll be workin’ with ya.”
She beamed, allowing him to finally notice that her eyes were a pretty shade of gold as she smiled at him and gave his hand a firm shake before quickly letting go and pulling out her tablet, “I hope you’re ready to start, because we have a lot of work to do!” she told him cheerfully.
He let himself collapse back into the couch cushions and ate the last bit of his pastry, watching as the woman across the table from him poked at the screen and started babbling about all the things they had to do with an excited look on her face.
He had a feeling that this whole thing would be a huge pain in the ass, but for some reason, he couldn’t help but smile as she happily gabbed on and on. This cupid thing would take some getting used to, but that smile was something that he would love to see more of.
__________
That’s all I got for now, if I keep going or not, I have no idea. This is more of just a throw it out there kinda thing.I can honestly see Junkrat being the cupid as well, which would probably fit more in with the breaking and entering thing, but maybe I’ll write that another time.
My Sky 10; Han Jisung
~ I'm listening to BTS's new album as I write this, sorry @kw03 ~
Tumblr media
"Did it go well?" Jisoo asked, pulling me aside in the halls. I nodded softly, pulling my books to my chest. "Then say something, come on."
"I think it went well," I told her, swallowing. "But I am worried."
"Why are you worried if it went well?"
"We both still love each other," I paused, trying to find the right words before the bell would ring. "But I'm not sure if that is enough. I want it to be, but I think we both have things regarding each other that are still unresolved and I don't really know how to fix them."
"Have you spoken to him?" She asked. I shook my head, letting out a soft laugh.
"I'm scared that this time he won't answer me," I brought my eyes to the ground. "I don't know Jisoo. Maybe I'm being cautious now because I don't want him to hurt me the way I hurt him. I know that's unfair, but it's real and I'm doing it. I want to stop, but-"
"You're afraid, I know," she smiled, rubbing my arm. "But if he has waited this long for you, I don't think he would hurt you like that. Give him a chance, okay? I'm sure that's all he wants."
"Yeah, I'll try. I'll try."
School wasn't exciting nor boring, simply like going through the motions. The whole weekend had been after that dinner. I was confused over my feelings and it seemed that was all my brain could focus on. I couldn't even cry anymore, but my whole chest hurt. It felt kind of like suffocating and drowning. No air, liquid filling my lungs. It was a very painful day, mostly because it reminded me of when I first started ignoring Jisung. I was walking home when I received a phone call in the middle of my thoughts.
"Hey!" It was Chan.
"Hello," I replied, cautious.
"Are you alright? You sound like you've caught a cold," Chan was speaking softly, as if handling me with gentle care. It was one of his older-brother charms.
"I just got home," I looked up at my house and sat down in our front garden. "Did you need something?"
"Actually, since promotions are done, everyone wants to hang out with you," Chan suggested. "Of course, the other six are very curious of you."
"I can't," I licked my licks, shaking my head. "I have some other plans."
"We're pretty free since our debut is over, so just let me know when you're free, okay?" He was still speaking gently.
"Why did you really call me, Chan?" I asked, making him take audible breath.
"How'd you know?" He asked.
"I know you," I said, then retracted. "I knew you."
"Jisung wants to talk with you," his gentle tone evaporated, leaving me with his genuine voice. That was scarier. "You showed up out of no where and, quite honestly, scared him. Things are awkward, are they not?"
"Why didn't he call me, then?"
"Would you have answered?"
"Honestly?" I sighed. "Probably not. But I know I need to talk to him."
"Are you really okay? You're so much quieter than when we first met. I mean, you were always more calm than Jisung but you're kind of, I don't know, you're kind of holding back something. If you don't want me to tell Jisung, I won't, but you need to tell someone or you'll suffocate yourself," Chan, with all his understanding, told me. I think that was what I missed about him most.
"I'm not okay," I swallowed, looking at my shoes and the dirt crawling up from the bottom. They were once pure white. "But I don't think the feeling fits into words. I'm somewhere in between suffocating and drowning, but I'm scratching the outside of love? I know that doesn't make sense. I guess I'm scared to get hurt. How unfair, huh? After all I put him through, I shouldn't be so afraid. But I am. I'm afraid that he'll tear me apart and break me down and I wouldn't blame him if he did. I know Jisung would never, but pain does things to people. He's fully capable of breaking me."
"I think that you have to take that chance," Chan said after a few moments. "I think that, after the separation and endless crying, you two both deserve a second chance. Things won't be the way they were, that basic trust is gone. You two have to build it back up again. And if you're also worried about him hurting you, you have to know he's worried that he'll lose you again."
"There's going to be even more struggles since he is an idol, but you knew that when you told him you wanted to try again. You told him you wanted a future, I was there. Everyone was there. We heard you, we saw the way you two loiked at each other. You two have to at least try, because then there is the regret. 'Why didn't I tell him?' 'Why didn't I kiss him, one last time?' You at least owe it to him to talk to him. If you really decide you can't do it, then tell him. Don't you dare leave him with no texts or calls again. He deserves a straightforward answer  from you."
"Chan," I sucked in a breath. "Can I, uh, can I call him now?"
"Yeah, go ahead. I'll text you to see how it goes, okay?"
"Bye, Chan."
I stared at my phone for a while, out in the front yard. I had homework in my bag that was still on my shoulders and dinner would be done in a few hours. My sister was inside, probably trying to  teach herself the choreo to District 9 or Mirror, switching it up with some of her own moves. My room was empty, my bed neatly made and my polaroids of Jisung and I in a little photo album hidden away in my closet. I had one of his shirts folded in the bottom of my dresser. I had some little notes he used to leave me in his room if he was running late in the first drawer on my desk. My mom had a hidden picture of Jisung and I someone in the hall closet, silently hoping she would be able to out it back on the shelf one day.
All those things got me thinking that I knew what I wanted, but couldn't have it. Yet, I was a phone call from having it. It wouldn't be the same for a while, if ever, but it'd be Jisung. It'd be him and I, the world dancing in our fingertips. It'd be his voice whispering in my ear, making me laugh. But did I deserve him after the pain I caused him? Did I deserve the boy with a brilliant smile, deadly passion, and warm heart? I didn't. I didn't deserve him. So what did I do? I folded it over in my head before calling him.
"Hey Jisung, can we talk? In person, is that okay?"
Chapter 67- Healing Crystal Country
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Hmm...fur coats?”
“...”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Out unless you’ve established it as your thing already. Summer hats off season? In once again.”
Vivien: “Hey, have you seen my black sweater with the weird collar?”
Chloe: ‘It’s over there.”
Vivien: “No...that’s not it. Hey, Chloe?”
Chloe: “Hm?”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “What’s on your head? Are you exchanging floppy hats for weird sci-fi helmets?”
Chloe: “Wow, you really haven’t heard of Celestial Crown Cleansing yet?”
Vivien: “Of course I have! I’m plugged in! I just….wanted to know what you know about it.”
Chloe: “Well, depending on the different crystals you put in the emotional centrifuge, it stimulates the wrinkles in your brain so that you can think more clearly and experience life more purely.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: :”I like to experience life pretty clearly, dear.”
Chloe: “I know! So just imagine what you’ll see when you’re Celestially Cleansed.”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “You cannot believe what Izzy Fabulous said about Nancy Landgraab’s latest piece today at the gallery I-”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “What’s ...goin on?”
Vivien: “We’re Celestial Crystal Crown Cleansing.”
Pierce: “Oh, I read about that, you know it’s just pseudoscience, right?” Vivien: “Whoever said that is lying and obviously hasn’t tried it. I’m experiencing life more clearly than ever.”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “You ok, Hawkeye?”
Vivien: “Are you still sick?”
Pierce: “It’s just a headcold. I’m fine, and I definitely don’t need a helmet to tell me that if that was what you were about to suggest.”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Try the helmet! Seriously, I was nauseous all morning and then I put it on- now I just want watermelon and chocolate..”
Pierce: “Ew, no.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Pierce! Did you borrow my black sweater without asking?”
Pierce: “Yes but don’t come in here!”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “What? This is my room what are you talking ab- ooooh”
Pierce: “I just wanted to try it on.”
Vivien: “And?””
Tumblr media
Pierce: “Aaaaand...my weird stomach thing is feeling a lot better, to be entirely honest.”
Vivien: “I knew we’d get you! Chloe! Chloe Look!”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “ Ooooh my god.”
Vivien: “He said it’s helping his mysterious illness.”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “Y’know, this is kinda...nice. Just the three of us.”
Chloe: “Totally! I feel like we’ve barely gotten to hang out lately!”
Vivien: “I know it feels like we haven’t hung out together or done anything in like....a year.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Well, you did take off for a week. Where did you go anyways?”
Chloe: “Sulani! And then Windenberg.”
Vivien: “Wow, Dustin’s really treating you with that game dev money, huh?”
Chloe: “Yeah! Well, Dirk Dreamer actually took me to Sulani, then from there I went to Windenberg with Dustin”
Pierce: “Bit of a love triangle goin for ya then?”’
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Sorta. I feel like maybe they’re just trying to one up eachother through me, but if it means I get a bunch of vacations out of it, then i don’t really mind. “
Tumblr media
Pierce: “So you’re gold digging Glamma Opal would be so proud.”
Chloe: “No! I like them, Dirk actually just said that he could potentially see the possibility of maybe saying I love you at some point.”
Pierce: “Sweetie. Please don’t say that out loud to anybody else, I love you, but please. Do this for me.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “I got for realsies recognized on the street today for The Cute and the Confident. It’s really happening, guys.”
Chloe: “Aww, Vivi! I’m so proud of you!”
Vivien: “Right? I mean...I would enjoy it more if Veronica wasn’t there all the time, but I’ll live, I guess.”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “You wouldn’t think there would be such an immediate need for a stunt double on a soap opera.”
Vivien: “That’s just it- at first she was just there for one scene but then they decided to make her my secret twin.”
Chloe: “Ewwww, did you tell them that you used to date?”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Yeah. They thought it was weird and made fun of us both a little bit, but said they were going with it anyway. They’re gonna do a bunch of mayhem where I pretend to be her and vice versa. It’s ridiculous- I mean, we don’t look that much alike.”
Chloe: “Ehh...you do, though.”
Vivien: “Pierce….”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “Hmm?”
Vivien: “Your stomach is glowing.”
Pierce: “Fuck, not again.”
Chloe: “Oh my god, the Celestial Cleanse obviously isn’t enough, you need to go to the doctor!”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “No!”
Vivien: “Why not?”
Pierce: “Because I keep getting these crazy fever dreams and I feel like I’m this close to my  artistic breakthrough.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Seriously? What if you, like, die?”
Pierce: “Then they’ll say that I died for my Art- I’m not seeing the downside here, Vivien.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “You’re so weird. I have to go to work- two more days, man, and I’ll teleport you to the doctors myself.”
Chloe: “Ohhh nooo, we’re going to the Bailey party in two days!”
Vivien: “Ohmygod, you’re so right. I wouldn’t make you miss that, Pierce. Three days.”
Pierce: “Ew. Fine, I guess that my muse has a deadline. I’ll see you before the Bailey party, I’m locking myself in my room!”
Vivien: “It’s almost three, I gotta get to set. I’m about to go adopt a baby that my twin stole from my ex husband.”
Chloe: “Good luck cutie! Steal the baby really good!”
Tumblr media
*Knock Knock*
Chloe: “Hey Wallace!”
Walter: “It’s Walter. Remember? You...called me Radar, because of MASH- I think?”
Chloe: “Yes! You’re the one my sister has a crush on, what’s up?”
Tumblr media
Walter: “Did...she say that?”
Chloe: “Aww! You guys are so cute! Boop!” Walter: “You...booped my nose.” Chloe: “I sure did! And I’m gonna do it again! Boop!”
Tumblr media
Walter: “Ooo-kay. Uh- is Vivien here?”
Chloe: “Awww!”
Walter: “Okay.”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Cuties!!”
*default ringtone*
Walter: “Oh, I gotta take this. I’ll talk to you later, just tell her I stopped by.”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Who still has a ringtone? Just put it on vibrate, man.”
Walter: “No, I like it that way- no, not you mom. Bye Chloe. No- not bye Mom!”
Tumblr media
Director: “Vivi, Roni, I need to talk to you.”
Director: “Listen, goils, I love ya. I do- but you need to stop playin’ the goils on the show so...ah…”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Devastatingly real?”
Veronica: “So deep it would make the ocean jealous?”
Director: “Horny.”
Vivien: “Excuse me?”
Tumblr media
Director: “Ya’r evil twins and ya’r always flirtin’! I know ya haive a history but I don’t think this is workin.”
Vivien: “What? I worked my ass off to be here! I earned this job, she is a snake that came in and stole my life! Like some sort of...evil clone! Damnit!”
Director: “See, Vivi, I love that enagy from ya. But ya can neva seem to chanel that at har!”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Ridiculous. Of course I can.”
Vivien: “How dare you try to take this from me. You have not worked a day in your life to become what I am and what I am is flawless, so you can look at me with those big, beautiful brown eyes and that...quivering pouty lip, but you won’t get me off, hot stuff, no ma’am. You can come at me hard with everything you’ve got and I’ll take it because I never step down from a challenge.”
Director: “...”
Tumblr media
Director: “So you see the problem, then, right?”
Vivien: “Yup. That’s on me, I see it now.”
Director: “Loik, it’s not a big deal. We’ll just fiyah one of ya.”
Tumblr media
Veronica: “Wait, what? I didn’t do anything! I’ve been completely professional!”
Director: “I literally had to crop every shot you were in to just ya face beecause ya chest was heavin so much.”
Vivien: “So...who are you going to fire?”
Director: “I haven’t decided yet. We have a couple episode til they have tah give the baby back, and one of ya will die and take the othas place. Who it is, remains to be seen. Now’s the time to impress me, ladies!”
----------
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Okay guys, We are at a defcon 10, do you hear me, this is serious. We need a plan, I need a big publicity boost so I don’t let go from my show. Aristocrat showdown, all three of us, we’re gonna go to the Bailey party, cause a big scene, end up in all the tabloids!”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “Guys- can you do this out in the hall? I’m not feeling very well and you’re talking, like, so loud.”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Damn, Pierce-y, are you ok?”
Vivien: “You look like a monster.”
Pierce: “Thanks, Vivi. You look great too. You’re wig is on backwards.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “It is? Shit. Did I fix it”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Ew, why do you still wear those? It’s bad enough that you named them all and hang them up on our wall like roadkill trophies.”
Vivien: “Leave Samantha, Veronica, and La Fontaine out of this!”
Chloe: “What happened to Esteban?”
Vivien: “Bad blowout...it’s a bitter situation.”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “What happened to you two talking out in the hallway?
Chloe: “Why do you have to sabotage everything I do?”
Pierce: “I wish you two had never been born.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “This is the Bailey Party! We’ve been waiting for this all year! Why do you two all of a sudden not care?”
Chloe: “I’m just...not up for a huge party, Vivi. I’ve been feeling weird all week, and obviously Pierce isn’t up to it..”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “What’s obvious about it, Chloe?”
Chloe: “You’ve been glowing and rolling on the floor all afternoon, Pierce, obviously you should see a doctor.”
Pierce: “That is so rude. Fine. I’ll go to the party with you, Vivi, no need to twist my arm.”
Chloe: “What?!”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Come on Chloe!”
Chloe: “No, I’m way too tired tonight. Have fun- Pierce, maybe like...write my phone number on your forehead in case you pass out and go to the hospital.”
Pierce: “I’ll put it on my wrist.”
Chloe: “Have fun you two.”
----
Pierce: “So what exactly is the plan here?”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “We’re going to go out, greet as many of our connections as we can-”
Pierce: “Do we...have that many connections?”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Duh. Everybody watches my show, they’ll recognize me. It’s on every single day. So, go in there, find all of the people we know, and convince them to go to our afterparty at the bluffs.”
Pierce: “All the way to the bluffs? Why?”
Vivien: “Because of the atmosphere! And I know that somebody else is throwing a party there tonight and it’ll all be set up and we can form a coup pretty easily.”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “Why can’t we just stage a coup at this party.”
Vivien: “How dare you, Pierce. Would you try to take a party away from Jay Gatsby?”
Pierce: “Gatsby? I thought this was the Bailey party, who’s Gatsby?”
Vivien: “Remember? Leonardo Dicaprio.”
---
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Hmm...I mean...I’m probably not, like...hmmm….”
----
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Hey!”
DJ: “Vivien!?”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “I knew you’d remember me! You Dj’d a party I was at a few weeks ago! I tend to stand out in the crowd!”
Dj Fliphop: “You definitely do.”
Tumblr media
*Default ring tone*
Dj: “Oh, I should answer that.”
Vivien: “Who still has a ringtone these days. Just put it on vibrate.”
*bzzz*
Vivien: “Like that! My phone is on vibrate like a normal person!”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “Uughh. Vivi, I wanna go home.”
Vivien: “We can’t! DJ Flip- that’s what I call him, because we’re friends- is coming back in just a second- he’s a fan!”
Pierce: Hmm...no. You know what- I do not think I’m alright.” *Thump*
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Ahh!”
Tumblr media
Dj: “Vivien? Ok, it’s gonna be fine, I’ll get Pierce out of here, you call the doctor.”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “What….electric man...what do you want from me…?”
Vivien: “Thanks, we’re just gonna be outside.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Hey, uh...how… did you know my brothers name, Flip?”
Dj: “Uh...becaauuuse...I’m a fan! I love you on the cute and the confident. And I love the Aristocrat story, y’know, classic tabloid stuff, heh.”
Vivien: “Right. I should call my sister.”
---
Tumblr media
Chloe: “...ok...ok…ok….I can do this. I can handle this. This is fine. This will be fine.”
*phone vibrates*
Chloe: “Hello? Vivi, where have  you been I’ve been trying to call you all night!”
Vivien: “What? Oh, it was on vibrate I guess I just didn’t notice.”
“Unbelievable.”
Chloe: “Who was that? Was that a robot?”
Vivien: “Yes. It’s not important- Pierce is in the hospital, can you meet us here?”
--
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Oh my god, is Pierce okay?”
Vivien: “I don’t know yet!”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Hi. What...are you doing here?”
Vivien: “DJ Fliphopi got Pierce out of there and gave me a ride. He won’t take off his helmet though, apparently he’s quite the fan.”
Chloe: “Can, um, can I talk to you, Vivi? Alone?”
Dj: “Yeah, I, uh...I’ll just be over here.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “What’s up?”
Chloe: “I think I’m pregnant.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “What? Holy shit.”
Chloe: “Yeah.”
Vivien: “Who’s the father?”
Chloe: “Uh.”
Vivien: “You don’t know?”
Chloe: “No!”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “Okay, uh, one thing at a time, okay?”
Chloe: “Yeah...yeah.”
Doctor: “Excuse me, Aristocrats? You can go in now.”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “Hey, guys…”
Vivien: “Okay, I gotta say...I didn’t see that one coming.”
Chloe: “Eh...I kinda did.”
Pierce: “I would’ve appreciated a warning.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “It’s...kinda cute.”
Pierce: “Sorta.”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Can I...hold them?”
Pierce: “Please, it’s so weird.”
Chloe: “Hey there, what’s your name?”
Pierce: “Oh god, I should name it, right?”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “I mean, it’s your baby, Pierce.”
Pierce: “That seems like kind of a stretch.”
Vivien: “So do we just like...have this baby we’re gonna take care of now? I don’t think I can live in an apartment with two babies, you guys, there’s not enough rooms.”
Chloe: “Vivien!”
Pierce: “Wait two babies? There’s another one? Where did they put it?!”
Chloe: “No! I mean...kinda. I’m pretty sure I’m pregnant.”
Vivien: “RIght, sorry, I didn’t mean to spill the beans on your mama mia situation.’
Tumblr media
Pierce: “So...can you take care of it, Chloe?”
Vivien: “Pierce!”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “Unless...I mean...we could always...have a little gallery opening....show some other art and…”
Chloe: “Are you really thinking about putting your baby in an art show?”
Tumblr media
Pierce: “I don’t know! I don’t really want a baby, I’m way too young for this.”
Vivien: “You’re like 35.”
Pierce: “I’m basically 22, okay?”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “So what does that mean?”
Pierce: “I dunno...I could just like...drop it off at mom and dad’s house. They usually seem pretty on top of this stuff. ”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Oh. yeah.”
Vivien: “That sounds like a pretty good idea.”
Pierce: “Yeah, they seem lonely since we moved out.”
Chloe: “That’ll be fun for them. Like a present.”
---
Tumblr media
*ding dong*
Tumblr media
Lucky: “Hey kids! I wasn’t expecting you today, come in!!”
Pierce: “Weeeelll...I have a present for you! Here!”
Tumblr media
Lucky: “.......Who’s baby is this?”
Pierce: “Uhh…”
Tumblr media
Chloe: “Maybe we should reevaluate...how important...knowing the parent of a baby...is.”
Tumblr media
Vivien: “You wanna know who’s baby this is, Mom? It’s yours!”
Lucky: “Um, ok, I guess we can take care of this little cutie...do they have a name?”
Pierce: “Nope! We thought that you’d want to!”
Tumblr media
Lucky: “Are they an alien? Hey cutie...Hello….Roswell.”
Chloe: “Alien baby? Ghost mom! It’s a perfect match!
Vivien: “We’re gonna take off, stuff to do, soap operas to film. Love you guys!!”
Chloe: “You three have fun together!”
Pierce: “You’re welcome! Byeeeee, love you! ”
Tumblr media
Thanks for reading! This chapter could also be called “How can I keep that alien baby and still make Chloe the heir since she won the poll” I’m sure Pierce will come around and do the right thing lol. Funny story about that- I complained on the official ea forum that I hadn’t gotten an alien abduction in a really really long time, in the next update they increased the likelihood, Pierce immediately gets abducted and gets pregnant, and I have to figure out how to deal with it. I love it. Anyway, leave a comment if you liked it!
For the writing prompt thing, can I request #9 with Plastic Beach era 2D and Murdoc?
9. “Don’t ask me that.”
2D was given his very rare moment of free rage on Plastic Beach, but it was to hot for a gold old 150 lap around the island like he usually did, so he decided to smoke and drink on top of the light house. He looked out at the ocean as it moved back and forth, like an old couple reliving their glory days. The view really calmed him, made him forget about the hell was in. But it he looked down, if he looked at the very thing he was on, it would bring him back with more pain. So he kept his eyes on the ocean.
He was so entranced that he fell out of his fold out chair when a familiar gravely voice screamed “OI!” to him. He slowly got up, and saw the green sailor take his cigarettes and his gin. And topped it all off by plopping down on his chair before he could get in.
“Ya snooze ya loose face ache!” Murdoc cackled and 2D pouted as he sat criss-cross apple sauce on the ground next to him. For a while there was only the sound of waves and seagulls screwing. Finally 2D, for no reasons in particular, asked a question.
“Do ya know what fis light’ouse reminds me of?”
“Look numb nuts, we all realize that these builds look fallacy, ya don’ ‘ave ta tell me.”
“No… I mean yes, but I mean what other buildin’ it looks lioke? Ta me… it looks loike a windmill.”
“…”
“All red and stripy? I ‘ate it ‘cause I’ve sung that song over an’ over again but… I ‘ate it even more for ‘nother reason…”
“…”
“…Murdoc…” 2D bit his lip. “Why did you let fat ‘appen ta Noodle?… She was one of us an’…. Why did she ‘ave ta die?”
Murdoc looks straight forward, and he slaps 2D so hard on the side of the head that his ears ring. He gets up.
“Don’t ask me that… ever again…. Now get back to yer cell!”
Could there be one fanfic about Johnny meeting Meena's Family?
Once again I channeled My Big Fat Greek Wedding but I combined that comedy with a little bit of fluff at the end. Thank you so much for your request dulcechica2014 this one was pretty fun to write. Enjoy!
Meet The Family
Johnny sat in his truck, parked three houses down from Meena's house, and stared in awe at the hell that he was about to walk into. He had parked so far away because the street was littered with cars, all centered around the tiny yellow house where he would be meeting Meena's family, officially, as her boyfriend. The yard was lit up by golden Christmas lights that had been strung around the yard, and the sound of laughter and conversation poured out of every window. The crowd was too much for the tiny house to handle so guests had spilled out into the backyard, where the sound was even louder.
For a millisecond Johnny considered turning on his truck and driving home, telling Meena that he was sick, and avoiding this get together completely; but then he pictured how sad Meena would be that she couldn't introduce him to her loved ones. Taking one last deep breath, Johnny shakily gathered up the bouquet of daisies that he had brought for Meena and the expensive bottle of wine for her mother, and stepped out of the truck.
The night air was pleasantly warm so he had foregone his leather jacket and was instead dressed in his best green button up, dark jeans, and his cleanest converse. Johnny cursed silently when his palms became increasingly sweaty with each step that he took towards Meena's house. He was standing on the sidewalk in front of her front lawn, marveling at the decorations and the sheer amount of people that he could see inside when Meena slipped out of the front door. She didn't notice him at first as she let out a sigh of relief and leaned back against the door. When she looked up and saw him standing frozen on the sidewalk her eyes went wide and she hurried down the front walk towards him.
Johnny immediately enveloped her in his arms and she squeezed him tightly in relief. After a few seconds she pulled away just enough to whisper in his ear, "If we run away now we could probably still survive the night."
Johnny chuckled and bestowed a comforting kiss on her forehead before pulling away and gesturing to her house, "They would nevah let us escape. It's too late." he joked and Meena giggled, "Plus I wanna meet yer family. I really do." He cupped her cheek in his hand and leaned down to give her a chaste kiss, but their moment was interrupted as the front door was thrown open wide by Meena's grandmother.
"He's here!!" She exclaimed as she hobbled down the steps and over to where the young couple was frozen in a half embrace. Meena's grandma grabbed his arm with an iron grip and began dragging him into the house, Meena following behind with a worried look on her face.
Walking into the house was like walking into another world. Animals of every kind had squeezed into any available space and were chatting so loudly that every conversation overlapped with the others. Meena's grandmother lead him straight to the kitchen which was bustling with activity as Meena's mother directed her helpers through various dinner dishes. Meena's grandma then handed him over to Meena and resumed working on an elaborate pie. Meena giggled and pulled Johnny out of the way and close to her side. The last thing that she needed right now was for a kitchen disaster to be centered around him.
"Mom!" She called as loudly as she could and Leslie's ears perked at the noise. She turned to look at them and her face broke out into a huge smile.
"Hey Babycakes!" She wrapped an arm around her daughter's shoulders and looked Johnny up and down, still smiling brightly "And who is this handsome young man?" She said playfully, winking at Johnny. He smiled, breathing a sigh in relief when Leslie seemed to act just like she did before he started dating Meena.
"Mooom." Meena groaned I embarrassment but Leslie just laughed playfully.
"Oh relax sweetheart. If he's gonna be a part of this family he's gonna need to adapt." Leslie grinned but both Meena and Johnny had frozen, a bright red blush spontaneously forming on both of their faces.
"Mom." Meena tried to glare at her mother but Leslie just brushed off her look and turned to a thoroughly stunned Johnny. Johnny shook himself out of his reverie and handed the bottle of wine to Meena's mom.
"This is for ya ma'am. I 'ope ya loike it, I wasn't sure wot ya liked." Leslie examined the bottle with a smile and pulled Johnny into a tight hug.
"Awww thank you sweet boy. I'll go put it somewhere safe and we can have it with dinner." She released him and then dashed off with another large smile. Johnny slowly collected himself from the whirlwind that was Meena's mom and then turned to his girlfriend.
"And these 're for ya love. I tried ter find the prettiest ones but none of them compare ter ya." He smiled charmingly and offered the roses to Meena. Her blush from her mother's comment arose once more with a vengeance as she hid her face in the flowers. Johnny just smiled grabbed her hand, squeezing it. He was leaning in to bestow a kiss on her cheek when their audience made themselves known.
An assortment of 'awwws' echoed through the kitchen as every woman stopped what they were doing to watch the exchange. Johnny's cheeks flushed red once more and suddenly he wished that there was somewhere that he could hide, but his search was fruitless so he was stuck in the spotlight with Meena. At least she was with him.
As if she had heard his prayers Leslie reappeared and the others immediately jumped back into action with one glare from the momma elephant. She turned to the couple and her big smile softened when she saw the flowers in her daughter's hand and how Johnny clasped her other hand comfortingly.
"Why don't you two head out to the backyard? Dinner will be ready soon and there are still a few more animals that want to meet you Johnny." She winked when the gorilla looked slightly frightened at the thought but didn't protest, "You protect him out there honey."
With that she dove back into the fray and quickly resumed her role directing the others. Meena looked up from her flowers and gave Johnny and encouraging grin before pulling him through the house and out to the backyard. The backyard was much more spacious than the house and Johnny felt himself relax a little bit in the open air. They weaved through the crowds slowly s the people that they passed stopped them to examine him, ask him various questions, and then congratulate Meena on her choice. Jonny felt vaguely like a prize vegetable at the county fair, but the grin that Meena got when her 'family' expressed their approval was enough to make his heart flutter, and for him to forget the odd feeling, just for her.
He tried desperately to remember everyone's names but there were so many people introducing themselves at once that it was too much for his brain to handle. Instead he devoted his attention to answering their barrage of questions as well as he could. The eager looks on their faces didn't really give him a lot of time to think about his answer so he blurted out the first thing that came to mind. It seemed to please them because he was met with smiles, hugs, kisses on the cheek, and the occasional pinch on the butt from an old woman. He tried desperately to avoid the latter but they always seemed to find him despite even Meena trying to shoo them away.
Then, just when he and Meena were about to sit down on a bench and relax, his worst nightmare happened. Leslie's voice rang out from the back door across the yard.
"Meena honey? Could you come help me in the kitchen for a minute?" Johnny's eyes widened in panic as Meena reluctantly got up and began to walk away from him. His heart was pounding as she looked back at him and said.
"I'll be right back. You'll be fine."
Johnny just nodded and choked out a short response, "Kay." With that Meena disappeared into the crowd and Johnny was left alone in a sea of animals who were waiting to interrogate him with even more odd personal questions. He had already been asked about his GPA in high school, his vocal range, and his clothing measurements. He hadn't been too sure about the last one but he had quickly learned them when the elderly antelope whipped out a garment measuring tape and began listing them off for him. How was he supposed to field these questions without Meena there to protect him?
He had been sitting stiffly on the bench for a few minutes when the universe delivered another ill-timed surprise to him. Meena's grandfather settled down on the bench next to him and suddenly everyone around them was gone and they were completely alone. Johnny's heart began to pound painfully in his chest as he breathlessly waited for whatever the grumpy old elephant was about to dish out.
"Well boy, what do you think of this party? My daughter and my wife are slaving away in the kitchen for your meal, my granddaughter is introducing you to everyone, and animals from all over the neighborhood have come to meetcha." He emphasized every word and the steely look in his eye never faded.
"Um... i'm not sure abaht aw the fuss over me sir but it sure is nice ter clock a big family loike this. Meena is really lucky." Johnny stumbled over his words nervously, keeping his gaze glued to those steely eyes in an effort to be polite. Meena's grandfather looked out at all of their 'family' members and Johnny followed his example.
"She sure is. We may not have money and shiny expensive stuff but... look at all this. We've always had love." A small smile spread across the old elephant's face as Johnny's heart panged slightly. His family was healing but for most of his life they had been broken and consumed with money and nice things. He wished that he had grown up with this.
Meena's grandfather noticed the wistful look on his face before he could hide it and in response he gave Johnny the biggest shock of is life. The old elephant's eyes softened and he put a heavy hand on Johnny's shoulder.
"I know that you've had a hard life boy. I know that you ain't had something like this before. But you gotta remember that Meena, your friends, all of those theatre people, their part of your family now. When you open your heart to people this is what you get." He gestured to the wide variety of animals that littered the yard and filled the house. Johnny felt the pain I his heart soften and he gave the old elephant a sheepish smile.
"You're wite. Thanks for showin' me wot was in front of me sir." Johnny got a rare smile from the old elephant as he withdrew his hand and leaned back on the bench.
"One more thing boy." He said and Johnny looked back at him, his guard down. He was met once again with that steely gaze and threatening frown.
"You hurt my granddaughter, step out of line in any way. I will hand you up for crow food so fat you won't even be able to scream for your mommy. Ya got me?" He hissed out and Johnny's heart sunk to his feet and all of his hair suddenly stood on end. He gulped loudly and nodded vigorously just as Meena appeared once more. She took one look at the petrified look on Johnny's face and the smug, fierce look in her grandfather's eye and proceeded to usher Johnny into the safety of the house. Once he was inside she turned around toaddress the crowd, calling out as loudly as she could muster.
"Dinner is ready." The crowd of animals surged forward and in a quick movement Meena pushed Johnny further into the house where animals were lining up to fill their plates full of food. Johnny relaxed a bit now that he was far away from Mr. Jones and he chatted with family members in line as he waited for his food. When Leslie had filled his plate to capacity despite his protests that he wouldn't eat that much, he followed Meena to a spot in the living room where they sat and began to eat their dinner. Johnny stayed glued to her side throughout the meal, half out of fright and half because everything was so much better when she was around. He couldn't hold her hand as they ate so he settled for pressing his thigh up against hers and admiring her out of the corner of his eye.
Miraculously he was able to clear his plate just in time for dessert to be brought out. He only had one moment to relax before a huge piece of apple pie with whip cream was piled onto his plate. Once again he found himself staring at a mountain of food that he wasn't sure he would be able to eat, but the gentleman in him said that it was rude not to clean your plate when you were a guest in someone's home, so he grabbed a fork and tackled the pastry bite by bite.
After dessert he leaned back on the couch and rested an arm around Meena's shoulders, lightly capturing her in an easy embrace. The plates were collected and Johnny was shut down before he could even offer to help clean up. The mood mellowed and the talk dimmed so that it was a gentle murmur rather than a deafening roar. Meena rested her head on Johnny's shoulder, sighing happily and Johnny decided in that moment that he would mark the night as a success.
Once again, his moment of comfort was shattered by Meena's grandfather  he walked over to the old piano and the room went silent. "Thank you all for coming tonight to meet Johnathon. I'm sure you all think that you know everything about him, but there is one more thing that you simply must see for yourself. I, for one, think that Johnny should play us a song."
His announcement was met with cheers from everyone in the room and the animals around him gently pushed hm over towards the piano where Meena's grandfather was smiling mischievously.
"I'm so sorry Johnny you don't have to-"Meena started to apologize but Johnny was never one to back down from a challenge so he quickly soothed her and then got up, making is way over to the piano.
"Well, I didn't come prepared for a performance but I 'ave a lil' summit that I've been workin' on that I fin' ya aw 're garn ter loike." Johnny said as he sat down at the piano and skillfully ran his fingers over the keys. The room went dead silent as he faced the piano and took a deep breath. He waited for a second, his fingers poised over the keys before he began to play, his smooth voice accompanying the piano perfectly.
Here we are on earth togetherIt's you and IGod has made us fall in love, it's trueI've really found someone like you
The melody of the song was slow and deep and Meena vaguely remembered hearing him play it in his practice room, but she had never heard him sing along with those slow sensual notes. She and everyone else was mesmerized as he started out with his eyes closed. Meena could tell that he was nervous, because she knew him so well, but he looked as confident as ever to everyone else.
Will it say, the love you feel for me, will it sayThat you will be by my side To see me throughUntil my life is through
He opened his eyes and looked at Meena, his gaze capturing hers so easily as his fingers slowly danced across the keys, mesmerizing her.
Well, in my mind, we can conquer the worldIn love,
you and I,
you and I,
you and I
The rest of their audience fell away and Meena felt like she was alone in the room with Johnny, the sound of his voice caressing her ears and her arms longed to be wrapped around him. This song was more for her than it was for her family but a the same time he was demonstrating to them just how much he felt for Meena. It was surreal.
I am glad at least in my life I found someoneThat may not be here forever to see me through
Meena felt a pang in her chest when the song revealed a small bit of the insecurity that Johnny kept buried from everyone, including her. He was afraid to be alone, she knew that. He was afraid that she would leave him, she knew that. But she also knew that she couldn't tear herself away from him even if she wanted to. They were irrevocably connected.
But I found my strength in you
He took a deep, almost shuddering breath filled with emotion as his voice softened briefly. Meena had to stop herself from getting up to kiss him in that moment. He needed her as much as she needed him, and that was a comforting revelation.
'Cause in my mind, you will stay here alwaysIn love,
you and I,
you and I,
you and I,
you and I
His voice grew with each 'you and I', the passion in his voice just as intense as when he was quiet but this time more tangible and less disguised by soft piano.
In my mind we can conquer the worldIn love,
you and I,
you and I,
you and I
As he finished the song his passion softened as did his voice, but his eyes never left Meena's. She felt like her heart was going to jump out of her chest if she didn't embrace him in that moment. The silence of their moment broke into pieces as her family let out a roar of applause and yells of appreciation. Johnny looked around at them with a smile and gave a cheesy bow. Meena rolled her eyes and turned to her mother as she settled down in Johnny's spot on the couch.
She cupped her little girl's face in her hands and Meena noticed that her eyes were filled with tears and her smile was the rare small one that held so much more emotion that her usual large one.
"You picked a good one babygirl." She whispered and Meena smiled, her eyes burning with tears as well.
"I know Mama."
🔥 13 reasons why
MMMMM, STRAP IN MY GUY IT’S TIME TO DIVE IN! some of this will be under a read more because i feel like that’s appropriate for the topic we’re gna discuss. ok? ok. lets go
so for one, i liked the show when i first watched it. i was like, whoa, this really speaks to me and then i read into it. and the more i thought about it, the more i read about it, i started to hate it. don’t get me wrong. the acting is great, and the issues it deals with (depression, anxiety, internalised homophobia and rape) aren’t often portrayed on screen, but it was done all wrong.
like, ask anyone with enough sense and they’ll tell you it wasn’t done very well. any warnings the producers received from mental health specialists helping youths (you know, the people that know what the fuck they’re talking about)  told them not to be graphic, not to show the suicide on screen, not to show the rape on screen - they did that shit anyway, regardless, for shock value. but this is an opinions thing, right? so here are my opinions - warning, you might learn a bit more about me than you want to, but i’ll keep it brief
start with hannah baker......
she represents every troubled youth in the world, the depressed, anxious teens who feel like they have nobody to talk to, the suicidal youths who just want it all to stop. and you know as a teen reading the book, her death seems okay, but portrayed on national television, they should’ve changed the story - what the ending of this show tells people is oh, okay, so if i kill myself and leave behind a bunch of tapes blaming people who really, apart from a select few (bryce. literally just bryce), had nothing to do with my death, people will suddenly think oh fuck man, hannah was so cool why did we do that? that shit doesn’t happen in the real world.
if they really wanted to portray a positive ending to the story, they should’ve changed it. instead of everyone accepting what they did, hannah should have literally spoken up about her problems, sheri’s problems, jessica’s problems. half of the shit she went through wouldnt have happened if she’s been honest. who the fuck witnesses a rape and keeps quiet about it? at the very least, doesn’t tell her own friend that she was raped by someone she trusted.
also, why do the people that ‘pushed her over the edge’ get tapes? long detailed tapes that take days to listen to, but her parents get nothing. absolutely fuck all. they dont get a note, they don’t get a tape, they don’t get anything. that’s cruel.
now, here’s where it gets personal. as someone who, years ago, attempted suicide, you dont do it for revenge. you’re not thinking about the nice things people are going to leave on your locker or on your facebook wall. you’re not thinking about anything, really. i wrote my family a note. i did not write letters or make tapes for the people who bullied me, for the people who hurt me, for the people who made me feel worthless. because they’re not why i was going to kill myself. i was the reason i was going to kill myself. i wont go into detail but i ended up stopping myself because i realized very quickly i didnt actually want to die. and still, i didnt blame people for what i felt. sure, you know, being bulled wasn’t nice and i never spoke to those people again and told them to stay the fuck away from me but I, ME, MYSELF - I WAS MY OWN PROBLEM.
i was my own problem because i hadn’t faced what i was going through, and didn’t let myself talk about it. after that, i went into school, sat down with my teacher (who like mr porter, wasnt that much help) and i got help for myself. i did that for me, i didn’t ask anyone else to notice that i was depressed, or had suicidal thoughts. i didn’t blame people for “not caring” when evidently THEY HAD THEIR OWN PROBLEMS!!!!!!!
hannah baker didn’t help herself, and expected others to notice all of the signs, when they were struggling, as we see in the show, with their own problems. you can’t do that to people. bryce is a gross human being and courtney is a raging asshole and marcus was a pric but alex, jessica, zach? their parts in her story didnt amount to nearly as much.
13 reasons why glorifies suicide to an extent that even parents loike it? they think its a great show that educates them on what to look for in their kids? not all kids are the same.
13 reasons why is toxic, it’s triggering, it’s done more bad than good from what i’ve heard and teens who defend it and sympathise with it the most are people that are in denial about being bullies. ive seen it all over my facebook, people that hurt me supporting the show and saying what an inspiration it is, because they dont know how badly they affected me. and thats so like, blah blah look at me - but thats what shows like that do. glorify the idea and make it sad so that you’re like aww, i relate. because everyone can relate to being depressed at one point, being sad, being anxous, but nobody wants to admit that they’ve hurt people too, and at the end of the show what dow e see? one of the kids thinking he’s actually responsible for hannah’s death tries to kill himself, and thats on HER.
anyway those were my opinions. they are just MINE, so dont come at me. i dont care if you like the show. its nice for what its worth, but i dont like what it promotes and what is stands for.
College AU: You Rang
Satya looked at her phone as it rang for the tenth time that day.
Yup, Sanjay Korpal, again.
At first she was actually pleased to meet another person who was planning to work for Vishkar as well. Especially since they had a system in which a architect was paired up with a coordinator, which he was planning to be. And again, at first, she was pleased at how interested he was in her work.
However, he started calling at all hours, demanding to know her location and what she was doing. Keeping her up at night and showing up at her sorority house. Her den mother, Angela’d had to kick him out many times over the past two weeks, even threatening summoning ‘The Hogfather’ to get him out by force once, and now she was seriously starting to feel drained and mid terms were coming up. She needed to study and work on her projects, but Sanjay’s constant calls, unannounced visits and demands to speak with her in private whenever she wasn’t in class was making it very hard to feel safe on campus, let alone study.
Finally her fellow S.A.S sisters had a solution; J.N.K house.
Sanjay was a P.S.H frat boy, they often avoided J.N.K house like the plague, save Hanzo Shimada, but that was because his younger brother was a JNK and his good friend Jesse McCree was too. J.N.K’s party house status and their quirky inhabitants (Hogfather included) were like poison to a P.S.H’s boy’s reputations and sensabilities, honestly she had too, before discovering how pleasant they were, she now often joined her sisters when they went over, doing Yoga with Mondatta “Zen” and Genji, playing with little Molly, talking shop with Brigitte and Jamison, and their 'Who can handle the spiciest food’ contest a while back had been so much fun that she had excitedly told her mother all about it.
She could have peace and finally relax and maybe she could ask them to calm down so she could study. So, her sisters snuck her out as soon as they could.
J.N.K house, surprisingly was quiet today. Apparently with mid terms coming up, they had all decided to hit the books and ‘The Hogfather’s little charge was having a play date at Professor Lindholm’s house. She had been enjoying the quiet and had been happily working on her projects until he called her again.
“You ‘roight there?” a familiar voice asked. She looked up to see Jamison Fawkes giving her a concerned look from behind the back of the loveseat she was sitting on.
She did her best to not let her fear, dread and discomfort at the call show as she nodded and apologized for the interruption. Jamison squinted at her phone as she dismissed the call and turned back to her work, her hands shaking.
She winced a few minutes later when her phone rang again, only this time, Jamison picked up her phone and answered it.
“G’day, thanks fer callin’ Outback Steak House.” He said as Satya reached for her phone, hissing out a ‘what are you doing?’ and catching the rest of the room’s attention as he went onto to say, “You callin’ fer take out or...?”
He paused, still keeping her at bay, “Ya don’ eat beef? Then ‘m wonderin’ why ya called us, mate, cause tha’s most of the menu.” The rest of the room started to giggle as he went on to say that, “Yer looking fer satay? Naw, mate, tha’s Thai food, you’d need ta call a Thai place fer tha’...” He finally moved the phone away from his ear as Sanjay shouted into the phone, loud enough for everyone to hear, “PUT SATYA ON THE PHONE!!”
Jamison simply said, “Sorry mate, if yer not orderin’, I can’ stay on th’ loine with ya. Need ta keep this loine open fer customers.” And hung up before finally giving her phone back, “If ‘e calls again, pass th’ phone ta me, I’ve got a million of ‘um.” he said.
She took it back, surprised, then felt a tired smile curl up her cheeks, “If you insist.” Her smile grew as she watched his face turn pink up to his ears.
“Oh no!” Olivia cried as she leaned between them, “He isn’t going to be the only one in on this fun!”
Satya’s phone rang and Olivia snatched it and looked at the number, smiling when she saw it was Sanjay again. She ran over to her brother and whispered something into his ear before she accepted the call and the two began speaking in rapid spanish to one another, doing dramatic movements that reminded Satya of the old Bollywood movies she used to watch with her family, Sanjay’s shouts over the phone barely audible before he hung up on them.
Bastion, a mute boy with two metal legs, whistled and clapped at their performance, the others following his lead and cheering for them, the two taking a standing ovation and bowing to the rest of them as Olivia explained, “And that was the closest thing to a Spanish Soap Opera we could manage.”
“Without all the slappin’.” Jesse added.
“Oh man!” Genji laughed, “I know we’re not supposed to want him to call back, but that was too funny!”
“What should we do next if he calls back?” Lena asked excitedly.
The group began chatting and writing down options, giggling and joking around while Jamison sat beside her on the , his motions going unnoticed by any other than her.
“Sorry, didn’ mean ta turn it into a joke,” He said softly, “I jus’ wanted ta cheer you up...” He paused, as if realizing that he seemed to be contradicting himself before quickly raising his hands, “I mean, make you laugh in general, not tha’ this koinda thing ain’ a big deal or nothin’!...”
“It’s fine.” She said, “ I appreciate the gesture, but if he doesn’t call, he still knows where I live and when I’m between classes, so if anything, your little ‘Outback Steak House’ act could at least help with keeping him from calling me anymore.” She felt herself begin to curl into a ball at the thought, trying to be positive, the calls would end if they all annoyed him enough, but that also didn’t mean he’d be any kinder to her later on when he showed up in person.
“Well, it ain’ loike yer alone, you got yer S.A.S sisters ‘n ya got us. I mean, yer sisters brought ya ‘ere so you could have a break ‘n we won’ let tha’ bastard bother ya neither.”
She felt her chest warm as she recalled how her sisters had been so careful when bringing her here and how quickly her Den Mother had kicked him out and how they had happily let her in, despite them needing quiet to study too.
“You are right.” she said, “thank you for reminding me.”
He gave her a broad smile in return, “Anytoime.” he assured her before pointing to her work and asking about it, pointing out possible weak spots and offering ideas to help make the building better.
Her phone was silent while the others debated on what they should do, it wasn’t until the massive Den Father of J.N.K house was passing through the room to pick up his daughter that the guys suddenly cried out for ‘the Hogfather’ to hear their plea and ask for him to help them choose.
The mountain of a man turned to her, “This bloke, ‘e th’ same one whose been buggin’ ya?”
She was surprised he was talking to her, as he’d never really spoken directly to her before now, but quickly nodded. Jumping when her phone rang and Jamison picked up the phone, “It’s ‘im.” He informed the room.
“Answer it ‘n give it ‘ere.” the Hogfather said, “I know somethin’ tha’ll keep ‘im from callin’ this number fer th’ rest of ‘is loife.”
Jamison smiled impishly and pressed the green button before handing it over to his Den father, the massive man picking up the phone and saying the funniest thing Satya Vaswani had heard in her entire life in his deep, thunder like voice.
“Welcome stud, you’ve reached Madam Bottomdweller’s sex loine,” he said in an even tone, the room, Satya, Jamison and even the mute Bastion included, quickly slapping their hands over their mouths to hold in their giggles as the Hogfather continued on, “Fer trash talk press one, fer saucy chicks with dicks press two,” Half the room was on the floor, struggling to contain themselves with tears of laughter in their eyes as he continued to say worse and worse things, his tone not changing until he got to the last one, his voice becoming lower and more blood thirsty as he said “’N fer gettin’ th’ fuck off this loine ‘fore I rip yer fuckin’ head off...” He suddenly stopped speaking, looking quite pleased with himself before carefully returning Satya’s phone to her, “He hung up, doubt he’ll bother ya ever again after tha’.” he said before adjusting his coat.
“Now if you all will excuse me.” He said, “’M gonna pick up me kid.” He opened the door and called back to them to say, “ ‘n Olivia, tha’ recordin’ is only fer people who need creeps off their back, if I hear it any other toime, ‘m bannin’ ya from th’ house. ‘N good luck tryin’ ta convince Angie ta let Akande stay th’ noight ta ‘study’. I let you get away with tha’ shite as long as you both use protection ‘n keep it down, but she ain’ as easygoin’ as ‘m ‘bout tha’ shite.”
Olivia froze in place, her cheeks red while Akande gave a suddenly overprotective Jesse a sheepish look.
“She will.” Hana promised in her stead, giving him a broad smile.
Mako ‘The Hogfather’ Rutledge looked her right in the eyes, his own narrowed, “Tha’ goes fer you too, Pipsqueak.” He warned before finally leaving.
Two whole minutes had passed before Olivia had recovered enough to press a button on her phone and for the deep voice of the Hogfather to say, “Welcome stud, you’ve reached Madam Bottomdweller’s sex loine...” And they all burst into laughter, unable to breathe or speak until the death threat was growled.
They spent a half hour or so laughing and listening to it again and again before Pharah pointed out that they still had to study... But at that point, none of them felt like it, so they played pool and video games and helped themselves to snacks. Satya and Jamison staying in the same place they were from the start, talking and laughing and enjoying themselves. Satya feeling the stress from before finally start to go away before feeling herself start to drift to sleep on his shoulder, her S.A.S sisters deciding that now was the time to take her home.
Pharah smiled impishly at her as they dragged her back to the house after waving good bye to a cheerful Jamison and the rest of his J.N.K brothers, “So, are you going to ‘study’ over there with Rat too?” she teased.
She gave her friend a tired, but happy smile as she coolly replied, “Only if he cleans his room.”
I thought about this before falling asleep, woke up and was like, ‘Must. Write. THIS!!!!’
I seriously had to stop thinking of what Roadhog would say last night because I was laughing too hard to sleep. I think the versions I had last night were way funnier, but I was too tired to force myself to grab a pen and write it down anyways.
... and now I’m wondering if this counts as NSFW because of the sex line gag? I dunno...
