IDW Timeline - Part 1: Pre-War "Modern Times"
I am organizing the comics in chronological order because I have a lot of ideas centered pre-war and needed some reference. Plus I am planning to make a more comprehensive overview one day. I listed dates when I found them and the comic it is in and event notes.
Ex-RID #17: “Shockwaves”
Shockwave choosing a Prime and planting a “seed” in the ruins of Crystal City.
Shockwave became a senator in the wake of Jhiaxus and the others departing. He opens his school at this time.
Reveals Proteus was the one who assassinated Nominus to make Sentinel Prime.
More Than Meets The Eye #38
1st Cycle, 012, Megatron is born in Con Facility 113, the Silver Harvest of Tarn as a miner.
Transformers (v2) #22-23
Megatron may be working at the mine under Nova Point at this point in time in Iacon.
4th Cycle, 499, Megatron is assaulted by Whirl in jail after being arrested in a bar fight. He meets Captain Orion Pax.
There was an attempted assassination attempt on Nominus Prime in the news by a bomber. Orion Pax, Captain of the Dead End area of Rodion. A few hours after Orion arrests Whirl and releases Megatron, Whirl’s friends fight him and Orion Pax pushes his way into the Senate and meets Shockwave.
The Senate is voting on the Clampdown.
Shockwave decides to make Orion the Prime he chose.
More Than Meets the Eye #34
Megatron has been sent to Messatine, partially due to Orion Pax name dropping him in the Senate, and Trepan prepares to Shadowplay him as things have been escalating. He has befriended Terminus who has been smuggling out his writings. Terminus vanishes (saved by Necrobot) and Megatron is racked with guilt about taking his writings instead. He internalizes this later. Terminus was the one pushing for Megatron to be a center figure while Megatron was more for group/community involvement.
51st Cycle, 500
More Than Meets The Eye #9-11: Shadowplay | More Than Meets The Eye #37
“Iacon, 4th Cycle 501-Pre-War. A few cycles earlier, the word ‘Decepticon’ first appeared in connection to the samizdat writings credited to a certain miner from Tarn. Nominus Prime hasn’t been seen since the assassination attempt, and the Clampdown is in full force. Proteus and the increasingly factionalized Senate are struggling to manage a population demanding greater influence over decisions taken in its name. The shanix is trading poorly against the galactic currencies. The Primal Guard is embroiled in the Phobos Controversy. And in sports news, Blurr has won the Ibex Cup for the tenth cycle running.” - Rewind
1st Chord, 4th Cycle, 501
In the news at the time a ex-military former Primal Vanguard member burst into a Relinquishment Clinic and started shooting donors.
Prowl and Chromedome were working in Iacon/Rodion at this point. Macadam’s was in their precinct.
Drift and Ratchet meet in Ratchet's Dead End clinic. Ratchet and Orion are already friends.
Orion and the Outliers steal the fake Matrix and in doing so anger the government.
Senator Shockwave is shadowplayed. Orion Pax goes on the run.
More Than Meets The Eyes #36 | Megatron Origin #1
Orion Pax and the Outliers are on the run and defending the sparks in Alyon.
1st Cycle, 502, for several subcycles has been on the run from Sentinel. Meets Zeta of Sistex he contacts Shockwave’s old allies and outliers and went underground. Orion is delighted to talk to Megatron and invites him to join them. Orion mentions Megatron is older than him but still young.
1st Cycle, 502, having been transferred to Croteus-12 (Mining Outpost C-12) Megatron has been seething since the lose of Terminus and the assault by Trepan. Decimus will be closing them down. Megatron kills this day.
Sentinel orders Prowl to investigate the attack on Decimus because he doesn’t want to.
Megatron Origin #2
Time Skip for Megatron to establish himself.
Prowl has been investigating and uncovered the arena and Megatron. They are moving in on him at the same time Soundwave is meeting him for the first time.
Drit #2 & 3
Megatron recruits and renames Drift at a Decepticon Rally. He is named Deadlock and already has a reputation as a killer.
Ex-RID #17: “Shockwaves”
Megatron recruits Shockwave via Starscream after the Senate meeting about the Energon Crisis. This is during Megatron Origins.
Orion reunites with him on the streets the day before the Senate assassination.
Shockwave visits Dai Atlus to injury him and prevent him from being caught in the destruction.
Megatron Origin #3 & 4
Has Constructicons and Combaticons and the deal with Soundwave in place. Megatron begins moving against the government.
Recruits Starscream and others.
Funeral for the cops.
Seekers attack Decimus’s “recognition of service”. Kidnap the Senator as part of the trap and the cops arrest them all.
Kaon take over. Prowl after seeing Sentinel fall makes executive decision to pullout forces and the Iacon backup turns into evac team.
Additional Notes (Exact Dates Uncertain):
Ratchet and Drift are born before Orion (a little after Megatron) and Megatron (5 million years ago)
Orion is born in Iacon
Rodimus is born half a million years after Megatron
Thunderclash knew Ratchet and helped him when he was studying. They both attended the Iaconian Academy of Science and Technology. Ratchet was attending medical school there and Orion Pax was there and they became friends
Prowl is brought online as a Cold Construct and serves in Petrex, a very prejudice town, where he learns how to get around rules. He eventually gets transferred to Iacon, around Rodion but not Orion's precinct. By the time of Croteus-12 he has transferred to Kaon under Sentinel directly, and seemingly fairly high up given his interactions, ability to give orders, and the presentations he gives.
Following Kaon, Zeta becomes Prime raising a New Senate and the Decepticons begin occupying more territory.
Dominus and Rewind leave Cybertron before war breaks out to pursue Luna-1.
Declaration Day presumably happens following Kaon being taken over and Sentinel being killed.

tw pregnancy
Went to the OB yesterday with my wife, and I had an ultrasound done for the first time since January. Last we checked, the baby was around the 45th percentile... now somehow she's over the 60th percentile... she has, and I quote the nurse, "a big head," but her proportions are completely within the normal range. There's just the issue now of if I'm going to need a C-section because of her size. I'm only 5'1... basically,, I'm 34 weeks pregnant, and she's measuring around the weight of what they expect a 36 week old to be at. And she's only going to be getting bigger from here on out
Anyway, on that "big head" of hers, we were able to see some hair through the ultrasound!!! She has a pretty noticeable amount of it, it's so weird seeing her grow more recognizable features. I remember during the first ultrasound when she was so small and literally looked like a little bean... now we can see some parts of her features, her hair, and even some of her facial expressions as she practices breathing/swallowing in the womb
The cats are very clingy, but they've got the idea that walking on my bump is a no-go for the most part. Jojo really likes to sit on my lap while I'm on the couch and purr against my stomach. Yeehaw likes to sleep in my arms with his ear pressed against my heart. Yeehaw would sleep in my arms all night if I let him (too bad I'm constantly tossing and turning and making him move)
This morning, I took a picture of Yeehaw in Jojo's regular spot leaning his head against my bump. It's so sweet, I know they'll both be very good and protective big brothers to her
Although I'm unfortunately still having morning sickness in my 3rd trimester, my wife is taking very good care of me. I'm so glad we found each other, there's no one I'd rather be doing this with than her. Together with her and the boys, I really feel like our family will be a warm and welcoming place for our little girl whenever she decides to arrive.

Is everything forgivable? I feel like that's the concept I struggle the most with. I can understand the majority of sins, since none of us are sinless, but I really have difficulty accepting that even pedophiles, rapists, and the like would somehow also be granted forgiveness as long as they were honest in their conversion and admission of guilt. It just feels 'unfair' in a sense, and I can't wrap my head around those types of people being granted any forgiveness at all.
In a way, things like 'murder', are easier to justify to me- someone was forced to because they were protecting a loved one, or had a psychotic attack, or was enrolled in the army, etc etc. And a woman might abort because she didn't realise that it is a life already at that stage, and because her partner didn't want to take responsibility and she was fearful to end up destitute & alone and not be able to offer the child a good life. Or an alcoholic might've robbed a store in a drunken stupor due to addiction. But child molestation? Rape? None of those things can have any excuses.
I'm sorry if this is heavy material, but I'm up late thinking about this and I thought maybe it would help to get some advice. I'm on anonymous because I don't want to draw any hatemail as I often seem to get on this app.
Yes everything is forgivable by God. We are imperfect and so struggle to forgive, but that doesn't mean God has that same struggle.
In a perfectly just world, it would be unfair for those sins to be forgiven. And in a perfectly just world, they wouldn't be. However, God is not only Just, but also Merciful. Because He is those two things, He would not apply Divine Mercy in an unjust manner. It would be unjust for a merciful God to say 'that sin is not forgivable'.
God is the embodiment of Love, which we know from scripture amounts to mercy. Luke 10:25-37;
25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”
27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[a]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]”

The man did not deserve mercy or love for what he did, two people passed him by because they thought he was unworthy based on his state. But God does not give mercy based on what we deserve, because none of us would ever come close to deserving it. See Romans 5;
6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
We must work towards forgiving those who we feel are unforgivable, but it is easy for God, and we shouldn't allow our shortcomings to dictate what we think God should be capable of.

Calvin Nicholas "Nick" Salyers, Saline County (Arkansas) Inmate, SID 4106894, born 1987, incarceration intake in November 2021 at age 34, sentenced to 365 days, now released
Misdemeanor Negligent Homicide
In July 2020, an Alexander, Arkansas police officer was arrested for manslaughter in connection with the June 3 shooting death of fellow Alexander Police Officer Scott Hutton.
Alexander Police Department (APD) Officer Calvin Nicholas “Nick” Salyers turned himself in to Arkansas State Police (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division special agents on July 8, the ASP said in a press release.
Following the May 25 in-custody death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Officer Salyers, a three-year APD veteran, allegedly told fellow APD Sergeant Matt Wharton that he would shoot protesters through the door if they showed up at his home.
According to the arrest affidavit, Sgt. Wharton warned Officer Salyers that doing so would be unjustifiably “reckless and negligent.”
On the night of June 3, 36-year-old Officer Hutton traveled to Officer Salyers’ home to pick up a patrol vehicle, according to the arrest affidavit.
Prior to his arrival, he attempted to reach Officer Salyers by cell phone and sent him a text asking him if he was awake, investigators said.
He received no response.
Officer Hutton pulled into the driveway of Officer Salyers’ Evergreen Drive home at approximately 7:12 p.m., then made his way onto the porch and knocked on his front door.
Officer Salyers was inside watching a movie with his girlfriend, Ashlee Cummings, when Officer Hutton arrived, according to court documents.
After hearing the knock, Officer Salyers grabbed his Glock .40 and went to the door to see who was there.
“According to his statement, he looked through the peep hole and saw a figure standing on his porch with a dark shirt and a gun on his hip,” the arrest affidavit read. “Salyers stated that he transferred his weapon from his right hand to his left hand and reached for the door knob and as he opened the door, the gun went off, firing a round through the front door.”
Officer Salyers said he didn’t realize that the person he’d shot was Officer Hutton until he got outside and saw him fall off of the porch, according to investigators.
He and Cummings immediately called Saline County 911 and told them they needed an ambulance for an officer who was “down,” according to the affidavit.
“All I seen was a gun,” Officer Salyers said in the 911 recording. “It was an accidental discharge.”
When Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) deputies arrived at the scene, they found Officer Hutton lying outside the residence, suffering from a gunshot wound.
A fellow APD officer was attempting lifesaving measures at the time
Officer Hutton was rushed to a hospital in Little Rock, where he was pronounced dead.
According to investigators, evidence at the scene showed that Officer Salyer’s pistol was in close contact with the door when it was fired.
“The bullet hole appeared to have contact residue, which indicated that the weapon was pressed against the door when fired,” according to the arrest affidavit. “Powder burns and a C-Shape ring of residue were left around the hole. There was a clear indentation where the pistol light, which was attached to the bottom of the barrel, marked the door as it was being fired.”
Investigators said the evidence showed Officer Salyers fired the gun with his left hand, sending a bullet through the wooden door and a glass storm door and into Officer Hutton’s upper-right chest area.
The round “traveled across his body, entered and exited the heart, then…wedged under the skin on his left side,” according to the arrest affidavit.
Officer Hutton was wearing a commonplace tactical gun belt and had his badge positioned next to his holstered firearm when he was shot.
The case went to a jury trial and in November 2021, Salyers was convicted. He was sentenced to 365 days in the County Jail.
Court records indicated that 3 months after his sentencing Salyers' seized firearm was returned to him. The judge commented that he was reluctant to release a firearm that had killed a police officer, but there was not legal basis to prevent the Court from releasing the weapon.

Hawker Hurricane | Classic Warbirds
In 1933 Sydney Camm, Hawker's chief designer, discussed with the Air Ministry the prospect of a monoplane fighter. This aircraft was to be based on the Hawker Fury biplane and powered by a Rolls-Royce Goshawk engine. However, the Air Ministry rejected the design. So Camm and his team went away and set about improving the aircraft's design. This aircraft, known as the Fury monoplane, would be based around the 1,000-hp Rolls-Royce PV.12 engine, which would become the Merlin. Impressed with this redesign the Air Ministry placed an order for a prototype on the 21st February 1935 around Specification F.36/34.
The first flight of the prototype Hurricane, powered by a 1,025-hp Rolls-Royce Merlin 'C' engine, would take place at Brooklands on the 6th November 1935 with George Bulman, test pilot at Hawker, at the controls. The prototype then arrived at the Aeroplane and Armament Experimental Establishment on the 5th March 1936, with an order for 600 aircraft placed on the 3rd June 1936, and on the 26th June 1936 the aircraft was officially named the Hurricane. One of the conditions for the order was for the aircraft to be installed with a Rolls-Royce Merlin II engine. It wouldn't be until the 12th October 1937, 16 months after the order was placed, that the first Hurricane Mk I production aircraft flew.
The Hurricane Mk I, powered by either the Rolls-Royce Merlin II or III engine, had a top speed of 316 mph, a range of 525 miles with a service ceiling of 33,200 ft. Armament consisted of eight 0.303-in machine-guns. When No. 111 Squadron, based at RAF Northolt, received their first Hurricane on the 15th December 1937 the type became the first Royal Air Force fighter to have eight machine-guns as well as the first to fly faster than 300 mph in level flight. The squadron was fully converted by the end of January 1938 and by the end of the year around 200 aircraft had been delivered, with a further 1,000 ordered in November 1938. When war broke out on the 3rd September 1939 the RAF had 18 Hurricane squadrons available.
A few days after the outbreak of hostilities four Hurricane squadrons, Nos. 1, 73, 85 and 87, were sent to France to support the British Expeditionary Force. October 1939 saw two of these squadrons, Nos. 1 and 73, become part of the Advanced Air Striking Force. Little action was seen during the early months of the Second World War (1939 - 1945) in what was known as the 'Phoney War'. Although the Hurricane achieved two firsts during this period. On the 21st October 1939 it achieved the first successful radar interception of the war by Fighter Command. This saw No. 46 Squadron, RAF Digby shoot down six of nine Heinkel He 115s intercepted. It was also a Hurricane which was credited with being the first British aircraft to shoot down a German aircraft of the war on the Western Front when a Dornier Do 17P was shot down on the 30th October 1939 by a Hurricane flown by Pilot Officer Peter Mould of No. 1 Squadron, operating from Vassincourt, France.
After the German invasion of France and the low countries on the 10th May 1940 a further four Hurricane squadrons would be sent to France. When the Battle of France (10th May 1940 - 25th June 1940) ended, a total of 386 Hawker Hurricanes had been lost in the 46 days since the 10th May 1940, many on the ground. A sole Hurricane squadron, No. 46, was sent to Norway during May 1940, losing all of its aircraft as they made their way back to Britain, when on the 8th June 1940 whilst aboard HMS Glorious (77), it was sunk, with only two of the ten pilots surviving.
July 1940 saw the Battle of Britain (10th July 1940 - 31st October 1940) begin and during the battle the Hurricane showed its worth as even with other aircraft and ground defences combined it shot down more enemy aircraft. It was also a Hurricane pilot, Flight Lieutenant James Brindley Nicolson of No. 249 Squadron who won Fighter Command's only Victoria Cross of the war. During the same period a tropical version of the type appeared with a number of changes, including a larger coolant radiator, and these would be sent to help with the defence of Malta, with the first four arriving on the 21st June 1940 to fly alongside the Gloster Sea Gladiators there.
The Rolls-Royce Merlin XX engined Hurricane Mk II would be the next to enter service, the prototype having made its maiden flight on the 11th June 1940, with a top speed of 340 mph, a range of 460 miles and a service ceiling of 36,000 ft and armament of eight 0.303-in machine-guns. These began to enter service on the 4th September 1940. Development of this variant saw the Hurricane Mk IIB appear with an increase in armament to twelve 0.303-in machine-guns and able to carry two 500lb bombs. These made their operational debut on the 20th October 1941 when Malta based Hurricane Mk IIBs attacked Italian airfields.
The other two main Hurricane Mk II sub variants were the Hurricane Mk IIC, whose armament consisted of four 20mm cannons and able to carry either two 250lb or 500lb bombs. This would be the most produced variant and were nicknamed 'Hurribomber'. It would be the Hurricane Mk IID 'Tank Buster' that would give the type a new lease of life. The prototype made its first flight during December 1941 with a new wing designed to enable a 40mm Vickers 'S' anti-tank gun under each wing and a 0.303-in machine-gun to help with aiming. It would be No. 6 Squadron, on the 6th June 1942, who used the type operationally for the first time and it was to prove successful against German and Japanese armour.
The next planned variant was the Hurricane Mk III, which was to be powered by a Packard Merlin engine, but this never went past the prototype stage, so the next variant to enter service was the Hurricane Mk IV. The prototype making its first flight on the 14th March 1943. Powered by either a 1,620-hp Rolls-Royce Merlin 24 or 27 engine enabling a top speed of 330 mph with a range of 495 miles and a service ceiling of 32,100 ft. Armament was two 40mm Vickers 'S' guns and two 0.303-in machine guns with either two 250lb bombs or two 500lb bombs or eight 60lb rocket projectiles. It was to be a Hurricane Mk IV that would use air-to-ground rocket projectiles operationally for the first time on the 2nd September 1943. This variant was mainly used in the Mediterranean and Far East.
Powered by a 1,645-hp Rolls-Royce Merlin 32 engine and fitted with a Rotol four bladed propeller three Hurricane Mk Vs would be produced with two of these being Hurricane Mk IVs converted to Hurricane Mk V standard.The first one flew on the 3rd April 1943 but with no real improvement in performance of the type it never progressed further than these three aircraft.
The Hurricane's time in front line service with the Royal Air Force in Europe started to come to an end in 1944 as they were replaced by the Hawker Typhoon. The type would remain in service elsewhere with the last operational Hawker Hurricane sortie undertaken by a Royal Air Force squadron done by No. 6 Squadron on the 13th January 1947. This was followed two days later on the 15th January 1947 when the same squadron had their remaining Hurricane Mk IVs replaced by the Hawker Tempest. Bringing an end to the types twelve year RAF service. The Hurricane also saw service with the Soviet Union, who would receive 2,952 as part of Lend-Lease, whilst the South African Air Force operated a number of squadrons. Finland would also use a handful during the Winter War (1939 – 1940) with the Portuguese Air Force the last to retire their Hurricanes which they did in 1954.
A naval version of the Hurricane, known as the Sea Hurricane, was also produced and these would operate from catapult aircraft merchantmen, merchant aircraft carriers and aircraft carriers. One of the more unusual aircraft considered was the Hillson FH.40 Slip-Wing Hurricane. This saw an additional wing added to the aircraft giving it the appearance of a biplane. The idea was to produce extra lift on take-off and provide extra fuel with the wing being jettisoned when no longer needed. This never got past the trials stage.
During the Second World War a number of two-seater Hurricanes were also produced after modifications in the field to help train Soviet Union pilots on the type. The United States modified three to serve as two-seater trainers. There were only two official two-seaters built by Hawker, known as Hurricane Mk T.IIC, with the first one flying on the 27th September 1946.
Two further uses saw a Hurricane Mk I used by No. 527 Squadron, who were formed at RAF Castle Camps on the 15th June 1943 to perform radar calibration duties, painted in a red-orange colour for use in this role. Whilst the following year saw No. 1697 (ADLS) Flight formed as part of Transport Command. These would have their underwing tanks converted to hold mail.
Hurricane Mk IIC known as 'The Last of the Many' was the final Hurricane of 14,583 to be built, including 1,451 in Canada by the Canadian Car and Foundry Company, when production ended in July 1944 of a type that served in almost every theatre of war.

I read an article about one of the ikettes who was just a guest “ikette” for Ike & Tina. Her name was Blair Sabol and she had a lot to say about Tina and her fashions. Tina like wearing wigs, doing her makeup, and wearing short skirts to get into her acts. So Blair had a lot to say about Tina getting her ready for the show, she said Tina made her wear gold platforms size 8, when she’s a 9. A gold chain bra top 34 A when she’s a 36 C. A skirt which fit a 24 waist when she was 32. Also said that Tina told her that after she’s done with the panty hose & briefs to give them back, Blair made a comment saying “Returning used panty hose & briefs, this is a class act ?” Blair also brung up how she would’ve been fined $150 for looking a mess but since she was a guest ikette she let it slide. Also Blair brings up how her hair was done and Tina braided her hair and put a red wig on her (Tina liked red wigs), she also said she got an headache from the wig being too tight and she was allergic to the wig so Tina gave her a lecture on how she wanted Blair to grow her hair out. When it was time to do her makeup Blair said Tina put 3 layers of makeup on her to give her a “natural look” with everything labeled deep tan. Tina told her “you’re a lovely girl but you walk around looking like Phyllis Diller, get into your sexuality” I’m not trying to make Tina look bad or say anything that offends Tina, I love her and the way she is. Blair was just not cut out for this type of work, Tina was passionate about her music & style, Blair just wasn’t it. Also the comment she made about her looking like Phyllis was funny, it’s the way she talks. Brutally honest but still nice about it.
I read an article about this girl a while back. She was like an Ikette for one night and and I thought it was hilarious. Like, I was DYING! That white girl could not keep up, but she tried tho! 🤣 Now she know it wudn’t easy being no Ikette!

dude fr fr re: temperature. we live on different parts of the planet but here the highs are *usually* like low 50sF/12c-ish and the lows are like 35F/1-2c. however we went from 15+ degrees above our average high last week to now about 15 degrees below it. what the absolute fuck indeed.
Absolute insanity! The even weirder part is that my home state is in a heatwave right now; the temps up there are ranging around 34 -36 C / 93 - 100f. Which is unusually hot for this time of year.
I know the negative IOD + 3rd year in a row of la niña gives us some weird fuckin weather, but also, not usually this weird.

My Music for March 2023
Dear Tumblr,
They don’t call it March Madness for no reason, believe me this month was complete and utter madness. I went through a whirlwind of emotions. It was really the passing of my grandma that caught my family and me off guard. No one thought she would be taken out from under us, in a brief moment it happened so fast and at that moment her heart gave out. I couldn't believe it and I’m still in shock. My grandma was very dear to me and I’ve been grieving and going through the motions of her loss. The music I have been listening to has been very therapeutic and has brought that healing feeling I’ve been aligning to. I wasn’t joking when I mentioned in a previous blog that the leading ladies were back at it again. With Kali Uchis and Lana Del Rey both dropping their albums in March, the Top Songs for 3.2023 playlist on Spotify is lit and jammed packed with new music that was released this month among other songs I fell in love with while listening to my Spotify Discover Weekly. Shout out to Kali Uchis for putting her whole love and couchie in Red moon In Venus. Shout out to Princess Nokia for “i love you but this is goodbye” the album that brought closure to that situation that you didn’t think you needed. Last but not least, shout out to the Queen and mother to us all Lana Del Rey. The song Grants couldn’t have come at a better time in my life. The lyrics hit close to home. The lyric in particular, “My grandmother’s last smile I’m gonna take that too with me It’s a beautiful life” It’s these music synchronicities that tell me everything is going to be okay. The reason why I take time to share the music is important because you don’t know how impactful a song can be to a person who can relate to the music or feel understood in the poetry of that artist.
