Last Christmas

First holiday fic coming up! Pairing: Platonic! Bianca and Nico di Angelo x reader Request: Reader showing Bianca and Nico their Christmas traditions? Also yes ik Bianca's not alive, but in this she is (if that's alright ofc) Warnings: None! Ig slight spoiler for the beginning of The Titan's Curse? Word Count: 1.2k - Asnyox

Ever since Bianca and Nico arrived at Westover Hall earlier this year, you’ve slowly been befriending them. Bianca was a little on guard at first, but as soon as you asked Nico to explain the rules of Mythomagic to you he loved you. And Bianca commended you for listening weekly to the multiple hours long explanations that Nico had. Eventually, she had let her guard down enough to talk about her and Nico’s past. 

Whenever she brought up that they came from Italy (how cool is that?) Nico grew quiet. He once admitted he didn’t remember a lot from those times, and got fascinated with what Bianca had to say. It was sort of a story time, you learned more about the Di Angelo siblings as time went by, and sure, sometimes things didn’t line up (how could they not have known of the Cold War? The Berlin Wall? They have lived here for a few years now according to Bianca!), but that could not quell your fascination. 

That’s why, on December 8th, Bianca sat both you and Nico down to talk about how Christmas in Italy used to go. 

“Today is also known as Immacolata Concezione in Italy,” Bianca smiled, “Nico, do you know what that is in English?” Nico squinted his eyes, hesitating a little bit. 

“Immaculate … conception?” He asked and Bianca nodded, a proud glean in her eyes. 

“Exactly. It’s a celebration of the birth of the Virgin Mary, without original sin.” Bianca nodded, “Normally this is when you would put up the Christmas Tree, and when the Christmas Markets would start.” 

“Here some people put up their tree in November,” you sighed, “some even earlier. It’s kinda fun how Italy has a specific date for it.” You smiled, “Did you guys have a specific tradition while putting up the tree? Hot chocolate and peppermints?” 

“I’ve never had Christmas peppermints.” Nico looked at you, “What else do you eat for Christmas? Can we get some?” 

“I don’t think you need more sugar, Nico,” Bianca interrupted him. 

“What do you guys mean? No Christmas crack? Reindeer Chow?” You asked exasperated, “You Christmas must have been subpar. I mean, you never made a gingerbread house? Do Italians hate architecture or something?” You sat up straighter, “That’s it, we’re going to have to break into the kitchen and bake you guys a Christmas.”

You thought it would be harder to get everything ready for baking. Heck, you even thought you would have to be sneaky about it! Instead, you mentioned it to Grover, a new boy, who had seemed intensely interested in Bianca and Nico, yet scared to approach them. Poor boy, you hoped he would gather the courage soon. As you asked his opinion on escape routes, so you could get the ingredients, he stood on helping instead. And so, two days later, Grover led you to the kitchen. 

“How did you manage this?” You asked, amazed at all the ingredients that were present.  You even spotted three ugly, holiday themed aprons amongst the food. “A favor here and there,” Grover nervously looked around, “Just try not to leave the building, it’s dangerous.” he looked at you pointedly, until you reluctantly nodded. 

“Of course, uh,” You saw Nico and Bianca approach from the end of the hallway, “Do you want to join us?” You offered. Grover quickly shook his head. 

“No I uuh-” he stammered, “I have duties- deadlines- uh, yes.” and he took off into the other direction. 

“Who was that?” Nico asked, bouncing on his feet.

“Just a friend who helped set this up,” You opened the door and Bianca and Nico gasped. 

“What is all this stuff?” Bianca looked at the table, slight wonder on her face.

“Hopefully enough to make gingerbread houses!” You smiled, elated to find pre-baked gingerbread house kits in the middle of the table, “Let’s get the holidays going!”

After you explained the steps of making a gingerbread house, and assuring Bianca that glue would not make the process easier (it would but where is the fun in that?), you got started on the houses. Throughout the decorating you would talk about different holiday traditions you used to have, elaborating there where it was necessary. You supposed they hadn’t celebrated Christmas after getting to the U.S.A., which was kinda weird but you shrugged it off and kept talking. 

“I mean, Santa Claus delivers presents all over the world!” You announced giddy, only for Bianca’s eyes to widen as she quickly spoke up. 

“Yes, but he gets help by La Befana in Italy, for example,” she laughed awkwardly, “Of course, the whole world by one person would be too much!” You eyed Bianca in surprise, but before you got interrupted before you could ask about it. 

“That is so cool!” Nico jumped up, “I had never heard of Santa, but it makes sense!” He smiled widely. Ah, Nico must still believe in Santa, or whoever the Italian Santa Claus is.  Nico turned around his gingerbread house, “(Y/n), I already made la Befana but can you make Santa too? I want them both in my house, so I get more presents!” 

You looked at Nico’s house, noticing that he made a lady (?) with what is probably a broom. She was standing next to a snowman made out of icing, and there were the smallest penguin looking creatures too. The true stand-out creation was probably the guy, made fully out of yellow icing, holding a staff and having wings on his head. Nico saw you looking, and smiled. 

“I also added Hermes! I mean, the messenger god must have been helping with delivering presents too, right?” His excitement was adorable, and you nodded in agreement. 

“Of course, how else would anyone manage to deliver millions of presents?” You laughed. You grabbed a peppermint and red icing and went to work on adding Santa Claus to Nico’s house.

It was getting late, and Nico had already dozed off, half laying on the table. Bianca and you were quietly cleaning up the mess together. As you were leaving, Bianca carrying Nico on her back, Bianca turned to you. 

“Thank you, (Y/n).” Her eyes looked sad, but she smiled, “Adjusting has been hard for us, and I’m really happy that we’re friends.” You smiled back at her. 

“It’s a delight knowing you and Nico, Bianca.” You petted the boy on her back, “I hope we’ll be friends for many years more, maybe make some Christmas traditions ourselves!” 

Bianca smiled, and Nico stirred a little on her back, urging you both to keep walking. Maybe, if things had turned out a little differently, you would have had traditions with the Di Angelo siblings, but as they disappeared from Westover Hall only a few days later, you would never know. You hoped they were alright.

“ Babe,” 

“ yes aggie ?” you yell back to your girlfriend. 

“ Did you take out the trash as I told you? “ she asks, trying her best to get the house cleaned up before the Maximoffs came over for Thanksgiving dinner. 

Could she have easily used her magic to clean the whole house? Yes 

Was she convinced by you to not use magic all the time as she wanted to be “ normal “? Yes, and you even used puppy eyes too. 

When she got to the living room, Agatha expected it to be clean but is shocked to see you on the couch with your phone in hand and a piece of paper in your lap. 

“ Babe what the heck did I tell you ? “ and you look up from your phone to see a very mad Agatha, apron around her , looking tired as hell and you think of a way how to not piss her off even more. Both of you stay in silence as she waits for an answer from you, wondering what you must be doing. 

“ well you told me to pick up the trash and I was gonna do it but I had some important matters to attend and now I’m here, “ you explain, Agatha’s not reacting at all to this. 

“Dabloon bank,” she reads aloud,” why the heck are you keeping track of pirate currency honey?”

“ because it’s fun?” no reaction from your girlfriend. 

“ Explain later and just throw out the trash honey,” she tells you. 

“ let me just write down the last of what I got from this person's shop Aggie and I’ll-” 

“ y/n, if I don't see all the trash in the house thrown out in 20 minutes, you aren’t getting some of my special brownies after dinner,” she says which of course gets you right off the couch to get all the trash, brownies made by your sweet Agatha always are your weakness. Agatha makes her way back to the kitchen to continue preparing what’s left of the dinner when you walk into the kitchen with your phone in hand along with the same paper from earlier. 

“ Aggie,” you say and make your way to the counter, sitting on one of the stools as she prepares the batter for the brownies. 

“ what do you need sweet superstar? “ she asks. 

“ Can I explain to you what the dabloon economy is? “ 

“ When I’m not busy babe,” she tells you, sad that she can’t hear whatever weird trend is going on with the app you seem to be attached to nowadays. Humans always seem to come up with the silliest things to keep their minds entertained, Agatha has been witness to this in her 300+ plus years of living, and even with you showing her every trend that went on in the app it always left her confused.

3 hours later 

The food was done in the kitchen, you were eagerly waiting to see your friends after weeks of being busy, and Agatha was just about getting done getting ready when the doorbell rang. It was the first thanksgiving that she’d be celebrating with people so everything had to be perfect as she did not want to disappoint her friends. 

“ Don’t worry Aggie i got it,” she hears you yell from the living room, not a second later hearing cheers from her friends along with the twin boys. As soon as she got the rest of her makeup done, Agatha made her way to the front where everyone is. While you are dragged to the living room by the twins, she takes a moment to talk to the couple. 

“ You look amazing Agatha! And I love what you’ve done with the place,” Wanda exclaims, happy to see her friend thriving and well. 

“ I could say the same about you superstar,” she shoots back at Wanda while Vision is just happy to see that his wife is in a good mood. 

“ And you Viz, How has life been treating you? She asks the man and she lets out a sigh of relief. 

“ happy to play the part of stay-at-home parent for now but the boy could not stop talking about this silly little dabloons trend,” he explains to her. 

“ Dabloons? Isn’t that pirate money ?” Agatha asks them. Wanda takes over on explaining what dabloons are to her dear old friend while Viz listens to the conversation. 

Agatha thought it was just a silly little game going on within the app and didn't realize there were whole governments, jobs, and even governments being formed over this. It’s no wonder you got all excited earlier to explain how all of this works. 

While this conversation was happening, the boys were in the living room with you, papers in hand given by you as they try their best to remember how many dabloons they have. 

“ you don’t have 1000 dabloons Tommy, remember the rule about getting anything over 100 in each video,” billy tells his brother as she erases the amount he had on the paper. 

“ Not if you get caught dummy, no dabloon cops have gotten me,” Tommy says and you giggle at how invested these two are with this as much as you are. Within two days of the dabloon trend, you have earned alot of dabloons, gotten robbed, given a cat, and even bought a house with said dabloons.

It was a trend that made you very happy and you wanted to very much explain to your girlfriend, but sadly understood she had to make the dinner for today so you decided to wait until she wasn’t busy. 

“ How many do you have y/n?” Tommy asks you, as he tries to take a peek at the paper in the notebook but you are smart enough to know. 

“ Just to steal them Huh Tommy?” you ask and billy giggles at you. After a couple of moments, you get distracted and you fail to notice when the young boy gets your paper as a way to steal some of the dabloons. Agatha hears laughter erupting from the living room so she leaves the couple to talk amongst themselves to see the boys chasing you around as both of them work together for stealing the dabloons. 

“ Agatha help me please, my dabloons have been stolen by these robbers,” you say dramatically running to her, playing the part as the boys look at the older woman, trying their best to appear innocent. 

“ Did you protect them with your energy baby?” 

“ Well um,” you say quietly to her and she giggles a bit.

“ Rule number one honey: protect what’s yours. Lucky you, i’m here in your honor, “ she says and kneels down to the same height as the boys to negotiate with the twins to give you back the dabloons. 10 minutes of talks later, Agatha gives you back the paper, promising to give the boys some of her special brownies to take home with them after dinner but you didn't need to worry about that. 

Dinner after that is all good ad you praise Agatha for how well of a cook she is, over the moon at another one of her talents which makes her blush a bit. Her guests said the same thing as well, calming her mind down a bit after worrying all day as to whether the food would be up to their standards. Dessert went super well as she decided on making apple pie for the adults and brownies for the boys and by the end of the night, everyone is full from all the food cooked but Agatha provides them with enough leftovers to last them a week. 

Once the Maximoff have left for their home, Agatha quickly uses her magic to clean the kitchen, not wanting to waste time on that so she could spend the rest of the night with you. 

“ Hey superstar,” you hear Agatha say as she walks into your shared room to find you in bed, under the blanket watching tiktoks as usual. 

“ hi aggie,” you say as she uses her magic to get out of the clothes into comfier ones. 

“ What happened to not using magic all the time Aggie? “

“ I do not want to waste time, just wanna spend it all being close to you, and maybe you can also explain tha dabloon thing now,” she tells you cuddling with you. 

“ Are you sure? I don’t want to annoy you and you must be tired from cleaning, i don’t want to -” 

“ honey, you can never annoy me,” she pauses,” I always want to hear anything new about you, don't you ever think that.” 

The rest of the night is spent with you in Agatha's arms going over anything and everything that has to do with the dabloon trend until you get too sleepy to go on and fall asleep in her arms. It doesn’t take too long for Agatha to fall asleep right after you.

The older woman holding you is forever grateful to have met you, able to see you all happy about what makes you smile.

now that i caught up on work i’m finally going to put out my thoughts abt the new alien stage videos lol (i’m doing top 3 first and then i’m probably going to not do mizisua at least for another few days (or weeks) because i procrastinate like that)

stuff that stuck out to me immediately:

the coins: obviously this is really just a game show to the aliens, and a profitable one at that. they’re making money off of the humans, and presumably the winner takes the big prize for their owner? general consensus is that mizi’s owner is rather decent; they wouldn’t just randomly put her in a death game so i think the reason she was chosen could be for the money

interesting shot: at first i thought it was the throne upon a pile of bodies of the losers, but when i went back to screenshot they look less like humans and more like aliens? could be body bags too, idk. the thing on the bottom right looks kinda like a microphone so i’m leaning towards dead humans

human terrorists: definitely hyuna’s group. we know that she and luka were close; i think they were at anakt together before? the background in the picture featuring them looks like anakt and they’re wearing the same clothes with the collar. they were probably there a generation or so before mizi sua till ivan. ivan found a way out — maybe hyuna did too earlier on (fun hc maybe he simply found the escape that hyuna made before him). im thinking she made it out and established/joined the terrorist group. luka definitely knows something; he wasn’t surprised at all when hyuna saved mizi

aliens protesting/debating: not all aliens consider humans inferior slaves? there seems to be a push for human rights or at least a stop to alnst

ad for anakt for sure: google translate says “institution specialising in human development” and the clothes the child is wearing are very much reminiscent of the anakt garden uniform. anakt advertises itself as a place for nurturing humans, although it looks more to be a feeder to alnst. ivan was sold/given to anakt by his previous owner and everyone else basically grew up there from young. i think aliens send their pet humans to anakt to be trained and if they do well with their singing training ig they go into alnst?

luka: i don’t have much to say on ivan and till’s introductions but luka’s i find is really interesting. he’s alone at the top, the winner of the previous season after he’s eliminated his opponents. the steps leading up to him are labelled with the anakt garden symbol and he’s stuck in a black void, contrasting with the caption “living his endless glory days” — no matter how far he goes, he’s still trapped in alnst and anakt. his interview that we got previously shows that he chose to return to alnst and thinks of it as a chance to “repay” the aliens for the love and support they’ve given humans. how much of that is true? he’s good at talking and keeping himself alive for sure, so why return to the death game? i don’t believe his words about repaying aliens a bit; he definitely has an underlying motive. is he that confident that he’ll win? (theory: maybe he’s helping hyuna?)

announcer: i think this girl is an announcer or something on the show — she’s shown more shouting and hyping up the crowd. her design seems too detailed to be just another throwaway npc; i think she’s going to come into play later

very cinematic shot of sua’s death. i like how it’s framing the mic. i don’t have much to say other than that lol although i might come back to this

mizi as centrepiece: interesting how this shot zooms in on mizi at the centre of all of them, freaking out. till and ivan are placed side by side — of course, given their relationship and the fact that they’re going against each other next. + nice contrast of white and black. hyuna and luka are side by side after — there’s definitely something going on with them (theory: luka is a mole for hyuna’s group?). that leaves mizi alone at the centre (alone without sua, mind you). they’re all interconnected in some way, mizi having connections to all of them. she’s till’s obsession, ivan’s “rival”, competed against luka, saved by hyuna. she’s finally broken away from alnst and anakt, taken in by hyuna. she’s in a lot of turmoil, still traumatised from losing sua and a bit unstable because of luka. she’s left behind everything she knows and is probably facing a huge choice about whether to join hyuna’s rebellion. im guessing she’s going to play a huge role in the future; probably coming in last minute and collapsing the whole thing. i just noticed too, i think hyuna is holding a mic? last minute contestant perhaps?

overall, good tidbits, lots to read into.

theories:

i’m definitely thinking that luka and hyuna are somehow working together, and if not then at least he knows something about what hyuna is doing

mizi is going to come back big time, probably more towards the end

the aliens protesting alnst might come back later on as well, although idk how much they’ll influence the plot. i don’t think most people really noticed that part in comparison to the other scenes so doubtful that they’ll suddenly be inserted with huge impact

the big one: i think ivan is going to win the round against till. i was wavering a bit before but with all the emphasis on ivan being the fan favourite i do think he’s going to win. till is very much an outwardly rebellious character as well that i don’t think the aliens want going far, and honestly i don’t see him going up against luka. luka v ivan is the more dynamic matchup, with luka being the previous winner while ivan is the favourite. they’re both very smart as well (not that i’m trying to talk down till he’s my wet little guy) so it’ll be an interesting (sorry i keep using interesting my vocabulary is small) battle of wits as well as skill. their musical styles also fit together well; it would be hard to write a song fitting both luka and till’s styles, but between luka and ivan they share enough similarities. also, the white/black contrast again. till’s motivation has been mizi the whole time, but now that he thinks mizi is dead i think he’s going to struggle, probably lash out, ultimately die. sad moment for ivan, drama, grahhh im sad abt my bf, grahhhhhh i want to beat luka, drama, etc

sooo overall thoughts. it's okay lol. the ending was surprising to me and ngl kind of terrifying. If lady pearl went horror route I think this would be more fun. First half was already okay but ig it's just like some of their events again that ppl want to escape their reality. I wanted to know more about lady pearl but ig i'll just do the interro for that. i also probably forgot some stuff from what echo was singing bc ngl i wasn't focused on the lyrics but just her voice 😭

um but yeah I agree. thing is I never started this account to troll or start drama/discourse. the account was so that I could separate my main and sbg content and it’d be more organized. I had been posting Logan hate before hand, and a lot of ppl found my posts funny/agreed so I just continued it here. you guys just got rlly mad for no reason. I get that some of the jokes I made were a little harsh, but at the end of the day it was never that serious. I do apologize if I stressed anyone out, but this whole thing is so silly. I will continue to post Logan slander, and I can’t promise that I’ll tone my content down all the way, so if that’s not for you then you’re welcomed to block me or the Logan hate tag. I use like the same 4 Logan hate tags so it’s not gonna be a sneak attack. Also even though I post logan hate, I AM ALWAYS OPEN TO DEBATING. I’m very open-minded and will change my opinion if you make a good point that I can’t refute. I just have not run into anyone who could do that yet.

okay now for the fun stuff. You said you like Logan because he contributes to the group, but I disagree. I feel like Logan has contributed least to the group. When you say “he keeps level-headed”, I feel the opposite. Logan is very shy and timid, and he gets scared very easily. Logan is very easy to persuade and intimate, which is why he got bullied in the first place. Although he stood up to Barron, he wasn’t level headed at all. He was clouded with rage (which in part has to do with the phantoms) but shows he cannot control his emotions well. In many offical arts + earlier chapters, Logan is seen crying / hesitating constantly. Yes he has a reason to be terrified, but you cannot say he is level headed. Especially compared to everyone else. I’m not sure how I feel about him being able to make decisions under pressure. I think Logan is good at analyzing situations. Thats why he was able to come up with multiple theories about the phantom world. But I feel like in order to say he makes good decisions under pressure, he’d have to actually put these decisions into action. Logan is still very hesitant though and I don’t want to base his character off of one scene, especially because I’ve talked about why I feel like that scene was a cover up and not genuine. Most of the time Logan follows the instructions and commands of others. He actually buckles under pressure imo. like when they were fighting before getting the car, Logan would’ve never mentioned he was scared if Tyler had not spoken first. He would’ve just followed everyone else due to peer pressure. Logan always acts second. I honestly believe if he had saw Aiden on the roof he would’ve never even considered using his gun because he avoids situations that have a lot of pressure and responsibility. So no, I don’t believe Logan makes good decisions under pressure. Again that’s just my opinion and I’m down to talk about it more! but if you do want to debate pls js reblog this or put another ask in bc the comment word limit is so annoying 😭

backstory: chose to become a thief after running away from home, but later chose to be a hero after her actions almost killed someone. weeks after her hero debut, her heroism catches the justice league's attention.

age: adult (comics and various series), 16-17 (justice league the animated series and unlimited) because team as family/found family/stray gets adopted always has me go heart eyes™

fun facts:

• sicilian and black, with her mother's family hailing from england. is also one of my shortest ocs standing at 4'11 (149 cm) tall.

• second of three children. after her younger brother's death from illness, her parents treated her and her older brother horribly. two weeks after her brother moved away to university, she ran away too; chopping off her hair as a parting gift to her parents into the messy pixie you see now.

• a bit of a coward, will turn intagible or invisible with her power if anxious and will run or fly into danger with her eyes squeezed shut the majority of the time.

• after wally's (the flash) death and the rest of the justice league becoming the justice lords; gina didn't like how everyone changed and ran away, ironically growing her hair out after she went on the run.

• unlike nana who didn't recognize hanma at all when he met her at the august 3rd battle, gonzalo almost didn't recognize him until he got a good look at his face. both boys met again when they ran into each other in a dark alley.

• is basically a combination of hanma and mochi, but more like mochi. will bring out a weapon if his opponent does and hates sneak attacks.

• scar on his left cheek thanks to a knife fight. when their mom found out, she lectured him for hours which ended with her crying. after that, he and nana vowed to hide their gang activities from their parents from now on. which is a bad idea but both twins are stupid.

just watched the video essay on the MyHouse.wad that came out earlier this year and,,,,, im blown away,,, not only one of the best pieces of modding in the past few years but undeniably just a great, intelligent piece of media on its own right,,

but it also really inspires me to want to try and find a nook of the internet i can fully engage properly with, ive not been apart of a comfy discord im a regular active member in for a few years now and ive surfed various discords/forums etc and ive always struggled to click, i've dabbled with getting back into 4chan if just to sorta laugh at the state of it and focus moreso on the interesting parts and ignore the garbage but as desensitized as i can be to it at times, the garbage nowadays after my personal journey with politics and being trans obvs,,, it really is just too insufferable,,,

doom forums and other things adjacent to that are fun when theres huge events going on (like the release and ARG cracking of myhouse.wad) but are quite boring when its just a bunch of hyperfixated people playing another decently made doom map that doesnt rly add much its just a new level in doom,,, frankly as much as i want to idealize playing doom since i went through a huge phase of it as a teen im just not all that interested in anything other than the weird maps/mods these days lol If getting an irl source of community is going to take some time to build up i really need to try and find an online outlet but its hard when life is unstable and your futures up in the air,,,, then again ig waiting til i have my own place and settle into a job is really just an obvious excuse and ive been making too many excuses i rly just gotta push as much as i can into overwhelming uncomfortability to escape the bad aspects of the life ive been living

unfortunately the reason why you could only find subs for #1 and #2 is that EN fan subs have only managed to get to blue glitter atm. thats because the general rule of thumb is to wait for the Bluray Disc copies of the plays to release so that they can translate the """"official version""" (since, ykno, stageplays by nature are never the same as each other) and #3 BD only released july this year while edel delight was literally held (iirc) just this feb 2022 so its gonna take awhile :')

a relatively recent additional side concern reason of waiting for the BD releases is like... plausible deniability of sorts? because revstar only started allowing international streaming with Blue Glitter actually so, originally really, we Do have to wait for the BD to even see what went down in the plays.

now we got international streams so translators can Technically start working on the plays earlier BUT since japan takes its copyright piracy laws really Seriously, posting screenshots of a play that should have only been livestreamed would shout to the company that ppl are pirating the show rather than paying so they might remove the international streaming option again,,, so screenshots from a subbed BD would give the plausible deniability that ppl posting the photos also bought the BD ✌

(this tbh is rly more of a twitter issue bc the staff and actresses are literally on that platform so screaming piracy right in front of where theyre also looking is just a bad idea all around)

hiii, my name is celeste! I just made this account last night and I want to introduce myself to all who stumble upon my page. I am really new to Tumblr only gracing onto it every so often, so please spare me some patience as I try to figure out the algorithm, mechanics, and layout of this platform! With that out of the way, let's get on with it <3

Like I said earlier, my name is celeste. I go by all pronouns but I tend to stick with she/her since that is what I am addressed as most of the time. I don't label my gender tbh since it's pretty fluid, but I tend to learn more towards the feminine side of the spectrum. I am pansexual, I don't have any preference when it comes to gender.

my birthday is July 26 and below this is my birth chart. I have tropical position calculation and whole sign house system on this chart because personally I find them to be the most accurate and straightforward. Feel free to analyze it if you want!

I tried to research the myer-briggs personalities (not just take the 16 personalities quiz LMAO) and see which one I am and I belief I am an INFJ. I am pretty sure I am a 3w4 for my enneagram type. I wish I could say wether or not I am introverted or extroverted, but I can't tell because honestly I might just have social anxiety. My instinctual variant is sx/so I believe.

I live in america in the south east coast area. I am still in high school and intend on going to college, perhaps becoming a lawyer or something in business, idrk it's tbd honestly. I go to private now, but before high school, I had always gone to public. The only reason I switched is because I wanted a better education and more targeted environment. I realized a lot of people switch over because they were bullied or like geniuses who were too good for public school, but I just wanted to because I fell in love with the school.

I play soccer, used to do cross country, and plan on starting lacrosse sometime this year. I have been always involved in athletics, practically my whole life. Recently I have been feeling major burnout with soccer, so I hope lacrosse is fun for me!

my family is okay relationship-wise, in my teenage years, they have been hit-or-miss. my mom is a stay-at-home mom and my dad is military, we were lucky we didn't have to move around as much as some other folk but that was because my dad would leave by himself most of the time, but the major move we had to do was leave my home town of 9 years (age 3 to 12) to a new place and where we currently live. It was weird because we moved while I was in middle school, from where I knew everyone in the school bc it was a such a small town and where I grew up to a big city where I knew nobody in the angstiest years of our lives, the dreaded pre-teens. I also have a sister we used to be close, but we went to different high school and she just graduate so whatever.

I drabble a little bit in spirituality and magick, but I am very well a beginner. If knowledge of the spiritual was a body of water, I am not just-dipped-my-toes-in-the-pool beginner, but more like I am sitting at the edge with my feet in the water, waiting for the temp to warm up before getting in further beginner yk? So maybe intermediate ig? I would consider myself a witch and I can't wait to learn more!

cw: afterlife philosophy! (skip this next paragraph is the concept of death makes you uncomfortable or you have a belief system in place where you don't feel comfortable listening to someone else <3)

My opinions on the afterlife and the universe are kind of conflicting? I believe in the spiritual while I incorporating science as well (this isn't why I think my beliefs are conflicting btw just a general consensus ig, just because my beliefs are fluid) my beliefs are the universe is at least semi-sentient being. I believe everything is made of energy and is apart of a huge universal cycle. I believe when we die our energy is released and just like the water cycle or rock cycle, there is many paths our energy can take and there isn't a set one. I believe energy can do many things after death, like disperse with no direction among the universe, join to an objects or persons energy, recycle into another body like in reincarnation, collect in a certain area as a form of heaven or whatever, stay in the death place as a ghost, transverse dimensions or realities, perform many of these options, or none, etc. I believe even things we wouldn't consider like touchable or observable have energy, like things we wouldn't consider 'real'. Like I believe that every god, every devil, every entity, every person, every fictional character, every place, every object have energy and existence (even if its not a physical one, or observable) because the universe is giving it energy. what I mean by this is for example, people in the world believing in the christian god makes it real because all that energy is amassing for that concept. To be 'real' is hard to define because what makes me more real than someone else? (I try to incorporate the multiverse theory here as well) What if this person existed in another reality where I do not, what happens then? who is more real at that point? Moving on from that, I actually don't have a belief on the origins of our universe tbh, besides the obvious scientific explanation of the Big Bang. In this case I mean more of like a reason and not a cause, like why we came about and by who/what? It hard to wrap my head around nothingness void to the whole expanding infinite universe. My beliefs after the start of the universe is that is when matter and energy were introduced and is when everything was created. From then all that energy has recycled, for example my beliefs on soul: I believe that at the beginning of the universe a set number of souls were made of like pure *soul energy*, as time has gone on souls have changed and transferred, like split original souls are what makeup soul mates, souls that have picked up an objects or places energy are what make people drawn to certain things in life, or soul energy being lost among the universe is what makes seemingly inanimate have 'human'-like qualities, or how some people have the same energy as someone else is just made up of some of their soul energy or their energy comes from like a similar area in the universe, etc. It just gives you a lot to think about yk? I believe the consciousness is extremely powerful and I believe in the law of assumption, it plays on 'I think therefore I am'. It bases itself on the question can somebody prove they are conscious to you, like can it be proven that you and me are conscious in the same way. The answer to that is no, you can't prove it, because anything they come up as evidence can easily be disproven by your own brain. LOA plays on everybody is you pushed out, as in (my interpretation) your consciousness is apart of every person you encounter, every object, every concept, every aspect of your life is shaped by yourself, as in the way you perceive it and assumptions you have around it since you are the only 'prove-able' thing in existence. Your reality is shaped by you, this is why every afterlife belief is correct in my eyes because you assume it is, then creating your reality. Yet even after this, after all my calming explanation of death not being the end of your journey, I am still scared of death, ironic.

I have many many interest that hope I get to share on this platform, so speed round on basic topics and I'll get deeper later! I like anime/manga, I like literature, I like documentaries, I like video games, I like YouTubers, I like movies, I like researching, I like art, I like painting, I like print-making, I like history, I like economics, I like civics, I like politics, I like fashion, I like philosophy, I like cosmetics, I like beauty-related things, I like photography, I like cinematography, I like animals, I like shaping my aesthetic, I like sports, I like moral dilemmas, I like tons of shit!

I like anime and manga. I like cheesy romcoms, sports, and slice of life. I like shonen and shoujo. My favorites are horror, adventure, sci-fi, and (most importantly) psychological. I like literature. I stick mostly to fictions, but I am not opposed to non-fiction every so often for research on history or science. I love fantasy and mystery, thrillers and horror are super cool as well. I love books that make you think, books that build a foreign world so well and truly absorb you, books that play on historical events, parallel universes, or completely magical realms, books that incorporate philosophy subtlety, books that have a bit of every thing relationship-wise (romance, friendship, family, parental figures, enemies, rivals, strangers, or more obscure relationship types). Off the top of my head there's no books that come to mind but please give me recs if you feel like it!

I like documentaries. I find I tend to slide to the darker topics and I find tragedy one of the most interesting concepts. But I also love stupid little nature documentaries like from Disney (LMAO). I love behind the scenes documentaries of famous films, video games, music, and more like The Movies That Made Us. I like military and political documentaries as well like How to Become a Tyrant, I like the reenactments of historical scenes. I LOVE true crime documentaries, they are some of my favorites. I like watching the behind the scene of corrupted business like Blackfish. I like watching cult documentaries too, like Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey. Again recs and discussion are welcomed!

I like video games! I love complex, decision-based games like Until Dawn, House of Ashes, Life is Strange, Best Month Ever, Detroit Becomes Human, etc. Those are so of my favorites! Kinda butt hurt rn ngl

A week and a half ago some friends and I went out for my birthday and it was also a last little outing for my two close friends (they’re dating, and they both just graduated and moving about 2 hours away) and at the end of the night I went to say my final goodbyes to him (she left a few hours earlier bc she had to be up early) and he goes “I’m not saying goodbye to you yet and I’m not doing it drunk either. We’ll be back for new years, *our schools block party*, and graduation (my graduation)” so I kinda brush off the goodbye bc I hate doing them. And so I made sure I was back in town for New Year’s Eve bc he said that “we’re gonna go to the bars” and I figured ‘we’ meant their group, which I’m not quite a main member of, but I’m a step below that. (I get invited by everyone in their group to parties and and the bars. I went on a spring break trip with them, I worked with two of them, I’m besties with their gfs, I’ve crashed in their couch a few times, I’ve even been invited to ‘small hangouts’ for the group which was everyone drinking and playing video games) so when he said stuff like that in the past that meant that I was invited but here’s the thing. I haven’t ever partied with them in new years bc the first year covid happened then I wasn’t super close with them and we were all at home bc we all lived in the dorms still and then the next year I was at home home and couldn’t make it down due to weather and then I wasn’t invited last year but I kinda knew they had plans and then this year I think I got extended an invite but idk anymore. So like that’s just kinda how things have gone this past semester bc everyone’s been so busy that plans are kinda made and talked about but they aren’t solidified until the afternoon/evening we go out. So I got all ready and did my hair and make up but both of them are still an hour away so I’m calling it bc by this time we’d be done pregaming and on our way to the bars. And ig I’m just kinda sad that neither one of them really told me they weren’t coming down? Idk I know I could have also asked about plans too but I just wanted to go do something fun ya know?

Like half of these came out last year, but a few are recent discoveries

1) 5 Seconds Of Summer - 5SOS5

So good. They can’t keep getting away with it, they’re just so much at all time ykwim? These songs FUCKED live. This is the only non-metal album on this list lmao it was just that kinda year. Complete Mess has some vibes for sure.

2) Lorna Shore - Pain Remains 

GIRL I should not be allowed to listen to this like what the fuck? I found out about LS last year from watching the throat cam interview and then listening to Sun//Eater like damn this guy’s got some noises. But it’s also the instrumentals, Adam just doesn’t know when to stop. They’ve got this epic vibe, like Dark Souls boss fight music or some shit, Cursed To Die gets me hyped every time.

3) Wage War - Pressure

This is an older one that I found last year, I’ve really been sleeping on this band. They’re a Fearless band so I’ve known of them for ages I just never gave them a solid listen before. Top recommendation would be Grave.

4) Motionless In White - Scoring The End Of The World

I’ve been trying to get into MIW for years and ig last year was finally the right time. I got to see them live with I Prevail and that had me like damn I should give them another shot. Cyberhex is pretty.

5) I Prevail - Trauma

This album got a lot of hype when it came out but I didn’t give it a listen until last year. The show I saw was the one where Eric had been in the hospital earlier that day. Glad he’s okay but ngl it would have been pretty metal if he’d died from playing BB at soundcheck. 10/10 would cry to Let Me Be Sad.

6) I Prevail - True Power

GOD. You can really hear how Brian and Eric have developed their vocals in this one. I get some Linkin Park vibes from it and that fucks. They do really good sad songs so even though TP is just bangers from start to finish I’m gonna single out Deep End as one of my favs.

7) Bad Omens - The Death Of Peace Of Mind

So I’ve heard some of their material before? Which is why Concrete Jungle had me like ??? when I first heard it. Very unexpected but the vibes do fuck. This is the only album on this list I don’t physically own :c

8) Dream On, Dreamer - It Comes And Goes

Fucks. Cannot believe they broke up and I’ll never know how these songs sound live, the vibes are just off the charts. So pretty, they truly went off with Don’t Lose Your Heart.
