In Phases, imagine that Reader gets fucked so good and so well by both that she falls into sub-space, pretty much like Minho does sometimes. No thoughts, mind blank, half-unconscious and she loses awareness of her surroundings for seconds, body only searching for the high. You know what I mean.
How would that happen and how would the bbies react after bringing her to that point??👀
I'm desesperatly in love with your blog btw❤❤
this, I simply couldn't ignore and had to turn it into a whole drabble

Sweaty, tired, numb yet somehow on fire, "moaning like a pornstar," was how Jisung put it.
Except porn is fake. This, this feeling, the way they made you feel is entirely real.
Jisung had his back against the headboard, hands behind his head with his mouth agape while he watched you work yourself into a frenzy in his lap. He could hear the wooden headboard banging agains the wall, could feel your skin rubbing uncomfortably against one another because you'd been going at it for so long, but he didn't care, as long as you didn't either. And you clearly didn't.
Because now you were calling Minho over, who was still trying to catch his breath at the foot of the bed from when you milked him just a few minutes ago. "C'mon now kitty, don't keep our cock hungry princess waiting."
You couldn't stop moving, swiveling forward and back to feel Jisung's tip nudge the soft spot within you, mindlessly beckoning your other boyfriend over because you missed his presence. As if he wasn't in you less than five minutes ago, Minho took your hand like a champ and stood by your side, only to be pulled down into a sloppy kiss by the back of the neck, all the while you didn't slow down.
Your hand glided down his wet chest to find his dick raising again, somehow hardening under your touch. You liked the feeling of his tongue in your mouth, but craved something bigger, heavier.
Minho winced against your lips as you tugged at his cock, "can't- hurts-"
"You can, and you will," Jisung instructed before the other could protest.
All three of you knew Minho could take it, if he truly didn't want to, he would've tried hard to fight it or used the safe word. Instead, Minho kissed you deeper and slightly rutted into your hand before pulling away. He moved to stand on the bed, beside where you and Jisung stayed connected. As soon as he was close enough, you reached to take his cock in your mouth, barely trying to suck.
Jisung had the biggest shit-eating smirk on his face, enthralled by the sight before him. Minho held onto the headboard for balance, the feeling of your warm mouth already making him want to crumble from overstimulation. He was already amazed by how much you were still able to take, thinking in the back of his mind that he needed to do more cardio to catch up to you.
The weight of one dick on your tongue, the other filling you so nicely, you didn't think it could get any better-
Correction; you didn't think. You couldn't think.
Every thought in your head drifted away the second your first orgasm passed, you didn't even know what number you were on now. Maybe Jisung knew- you'll find out eventually.
But his hand was wrapping around your throat now, squeezing softly and feeling the air supply slowly dwindling little by little. Slack jawed, Minho took advantage and threaded his fingers in your hair to rut in quick jabs, the drool dripping down your chin and onto Jisung's hand.
Your thighs burned, trying so hard to maintain a rhythm and failing. Jisung could tell, to Minho it was obvious, they were both just proud you were still going. In an attempt to get him to squeeze harder, you placed your hand around Jisung's. Instead of constricting, he lifted you up by the neck to get you to sit high on your knees.
Even with a mouth full of cock, you couldn't contain your moans. The vibrations of your whining made Minho squirm and rut faster, sloppier. Elevated in more ways than just in his lap, Jisung pulled out to the tip only to slam back into you, thrusting from below at a more than leisure pace. His thumb found its way to your clit, rubbing harshly back and forth perfectly to make you grab at Minho's thigh and harder at Jisung's hand around your neck.
Your eyes rolled back, taking Minho in his full stride and the pummeling you were receiving from below. All senses flushed stupid, feeling nothing and everything all at once and in fact, moaning like a pornstar.
It was so good to the point you didn't realize you'd stopped breathing even when Jisung loosened his grip on your windpipe. You were suddenly being lowered into someone's arms and placed with your head against their chest. It felt as though you had just woken up from a deep slumber, but was sweaty and smelled like bodies on bodies.
"Baby, hey hey, come back to us," Jisung cooed sweetly, brushing away the matted hair on your forehead.
Another set of hands was caressing your back, cooled off by a damp towel being wiped up and down the exposed skin.
Your eyes fluttered open, seeing Minho's big browns glossy with concern, "there she is."
"Hm..?" The dryness of your throat hurt a little, as did the joints in your jaw.
Jisung carefully laid you on your back with your head at the foot of the bed. You could hear him distantly chuckle about the pillows being too icky to lay on.
Towering over you, Minho used the same hand cloth to wipe your face, down your neck and body. He gently kissed your belly as he continued to traverse your lower half and legs. Drowsily looking around the room, you almost rolled your eyes behind your head to find Jisung, who popped in upside down into your field of vision.
"You okay, sweetheart? You blacked out on us," before you could answer, he Spiderman kissed you chastely.
"Dicks too good, apparently." Minho and Jisung high fived each other over your limp body.
"Thirsty," you groaned, trying to regain moisture back into your mouth.
"Yeah, you were. I swear my dick was about to fall off." The older chuckled as he sauntered off to the bathroom for a moment once you were clean. Jisung took his place and sat you up to bring a water bottle to your lips.
"Don't complain. Just means we gotta step up our game, right? Hit the gym more often. You got us both beat, pretty princess." Soft and sweet, the blonde leaned forward to kiss your forehead and tip you back again. "But seriously," he said with your cheeks in his hands, "don't ever scare us like that again. It's okay to stop."
You couldn't help the slightly embarrassed giggle, "I would've if I could."
"Look!" Minho came running back into the room, still completely naked. "Lipstick!" Your lipstick. Printed in a ring around the base of his flaccid cock.
Jisung's mouth dropped, "that's so hot. I want one, too."
"You just told me I should sto-"
"Next time, next time. Can't have you breaking in two." Jisung grabbed the blanket from the side chair and draped it over your body.
As Minho tossed the soiled pillows to the ground and got into bed beside you, he murmured, "yet."

Yan Clown/Circus + Imaginary Friend Darling Blurb
Throughout life, friends come and go, but you - were always the first.
Things were simple in the beginning. Sit with that lonely kid at the playground, wipe their face with your sleeves, and ask if they wanted to be friends. They always said yes. You were inseparable. Playing until streetlights came on plus a seat saved for you at the dinner table when they reluctantly returned home. The biggest fears you faced where the monsters under the bed and the dark... then came school, homework, the future. Your playdates became so far and few, they put in the efforts to make new friends and you were so happy for them.
"Y/n? Who's that? Quit talking to yourself and come hang out with us."
But none of them ever wanted to be yours. Your friend was never home anymore and when they were it was always school work or video games taking their attention. Your place at the table was given to someone else. They'd gradually drift away from speaking to you and it was like you never existed in the first place to them, and maybe you never did - so you left. Back to that empty that existed before it all. There, you remembered all your friends. All your precious memories and the treasures they gave you their parents questioned them about when they disappeared. You hated it there. You didn't want to reminisce on the good times - it only lead to wordless goodbyes. Why - why did they always leave you behind?
"I got invited to a slumber party this weekend... Everyone turned out to be so nice once I gave them a chance like you told me to.... You'll... always be my best friend, but I have real ones now. I'm not a kid anymore - and I can't live in a fantasy world forever."
Of course you always knew - but did your time together really mean nothing? The smiles and tears, joys and fears - were those fake too? This was how life for you went and has gone your entire path. Make a new friend, wait for them to make their own, force yourself to forget, and repeat. You never, ever blamed them for abandoning you. It was your biggest dream to see your friends go out in the world and do all the things you rambled about for hours - you just wished you could've been their when they made their dreams come true. If they could make those fantasies reality, why couldn't you be real too them? It's not fair-
"Hey! You gonna put your raspberry in the square yet? I don't mind waiting cuz you're really cute - but I've eaten most of the blueberries already and if I eat one more I won't have enough for a win."
A new friend - you kept them waiting, lost in your thoughts like that. There's something different about this one... They're a lot bigger than your old friends and dress strange just like those funny people in shows. How old are they?
"28..... Is my favorite number because that's how many waffles I can eat before throwing up. I dunno my age really, I like a lot of candles on my pie so it's hard to remember. I'm probably waaaaaay older - or younger, but I'm definitely not younger than eighteen because I get a new doll every year - and there's a ton. Hey, when's your birthday so we can get your collection started?"
An adult - An adult can see you, but why?
"Hmmm, I dunno how you got in here either. I was just thinking about how great it would be to have someone to eat all these waffles with since I made 29 today - and poof you appeared outta nowhere. You gotta so me that trick eventually - wanna be pals? I'll give you... a quarter, no- half the stack if ya stick around. My name's Gus. Gus the clown."
A clown... Alot of your friends loved those, others were terrified. This one reminded you alot of them. So silly and carefree, just like they always were before reality kicked in. It was never that way for Gus. You'll never forget the shocked look on their face when you told them chocolate milk didn't come from brown cows. They serenaded you with songs detailing your adventures together and nearly had a heart attack when you played peekaboo together which they later tried to play off as good acting - the tear smudges in their paint was just from hot how was is.
At the same time, Gus was far more mature they let on. They fantasized about finding the missing piece to their act and heart, and hopefully marrying that special someone someday. They were all smiles - but as soon as someone got hurt they knew when to drop the act and when to use it to their advantage. You prayed the day they found someone they wouldn't ditch you like everyone else.
It turned out there were a lot more like Gus. True to their status as a performer, they worked and lived in a traveling circus with others who were accepting of you - and had the eyes to see you. They never doubted your existence like parents used to and believed near ever word Gus said even when at the point in time you were nothing more than the ramblings of a mad-clown, and greeted you in kind. Overtime, you became corporal for these performers too and the brief hellos turned to bear hugs thrust upon dolls Gus' sibling made for everyone to have when they wanted sat hello. They still couldn't touch you, but for the first time everyone knew you were their and love you the same, if not more than the friend you came for. Sometimes it really did feel like you were a real person. If only....
"Ouch!"
You pull your hand away from Gus' as the clown bursts into a fit of giggles - yelping in pain as they clap their hands together, electrocuting themselves on the buzzer.
Whoo! That definitely sends a shock through ya. Can't believe that got you. Hey - that got you... you've never been hurt by any of the things we've done before."
They're right. That really did hurt. Wait. It hurt. You've never been able to interact with anything before - leaving Gus overwhelmed on brunch dates when they devoured your share. What's going on?
Gus expresses the confusion you're both feeling with a high-pitched scream. They dart around the room, nabbing their emergency supplies of candy from beneath their pillow. "Ahhhh, idea - Y/n, try one of these - hurry!"
You take one of the licorice sticks and shove it in your mouth. If picked up the treat wasn't proof enough, the explosion of flavor on your tongue confirmed your theories.
"It's...good."
Gus races in a circles, squeeling in delight as they grab and pinch your plush - warm cheeks. "They've never been warm before! This is amazing. Ahhh, next test- here goes!"
Shutting their eyes, Gus rams their lips against yours - grinning with teeth against your skin. They kiss your lips, cheeks, and noses - smothering you with a hug, soaking up the beat of your speeding heart.
"You have no idea long I've wanted to do that...."
You're still reeling from everything going on. "W-what's happening, Gus?"
"No clue! If you want my guess, I'd say so many people believing in you made you real like that one movie with the puppet. The others! Oh, man everyone's gonna love this! Come on!"
Gus picks you up and sprints to the main show room. They gather everyone into the area along with the biggest mirror they could find. They try to explain, but the excitement gets the better of them. Frustrated by everyone's agreeable questions - they rip off the blanket covering the mirror and your reflection, and the crowd goes wild.
"That wasn't there before! Can we touch Y/n now???"
"I call dibs on giving them their first piggyback ride!"
"Wonderful timing! I knitted you a lovely scarf before I forgot you technically were a figment of our combined imaginations."
"If they're really here and can touch stuff... They can be part of the show - can't they?"
Thats right. You'd fit right in with your history too. After a celebratory dinner and cuddle session - the preparations for your big debut were made. As expected, everyone loved you. You and Gus were the starting act, and two halves of the same whole. People saw you, they praised you, loved you. The adoration of the crowd was like no other, but everything after the curtains were closed was even better. Gus kept to their promise of never leaving you behind. You were that missing piece - someone they couldn't live without. It was time for you to finally grow up and leave the ghosts of the past where they lied.
"Aw, don't be like that, sweetie. You'll love it once we get there."
This is bullshit. Their college gradation and their folks were dragging them to some circus. Luckily they had a few buds pull through for an aftershow at a nearby bat.
"Maybe your opinion will change when you see the staring act. That clown reminds me a lot of that friend you used to go on about. What was their name again? I think it was -"
Y/n. Your name and smiling face were plastered on a billboard they passed. It was no vague resemblance - that was their first companion down to the scrunchie you wore around your wrist that they gave you on the day they gave you the lukewarm mercy of a goodbye. It couldn't really be you - right?
"Look how big you've grown...."
No-
"Your parents tell me you're graduating this year. I'm so, so proud of you. Are you going to become a scientist just like you said?"
How?
"You always said it was so you could find a way for everyone to see me too... I'm sorry for holding you back for so long. It's good that you made friends. I made alot too - really good ones. With them, I can live in fantasy and the real world at the same time. It's so much fun."
What are you apologizing for? Why are you acting like you're the one that abandoned them. You were everywhere to them. Everything they ever achieved was because of the shoulder you gave them to lean on. Being with you was like a dream - but everyone has to wake up eventually.
"Oops! Looks like a wasted all our time. I have a few more scheduled greets, but maybe if you stay after we can chat a little more before you leave. See you!"
They don't want to leave. There's still so much to be explained; to say and do, but just like them - you were gone as you appeared. They had to see you again in a better time. Do imaginary friends drink coffee?"
"How's it feel to be the one on the other end of the stick?"
Another clown stands behind them. It was the same one that shared your act. Gus. What do they want?
"Y'know I know alllll about what happened between you two. I know everything from their past since as their bestest friend - and potential future spouse - it's my job to make them loved enough to spill every, little detail. You shouldn't have come here. You're not the first to recognize them - and you won't be the last.
The ball of their wrist juts painfully against their skin as the clown grabs their arm.
"I won't let any of you get back into their heart. I won't let anyone hurt them again. You can't just take back what you broke when someone else fixes it. I'll make you feel what they felt. I'll make them forget you - and anyone who tries to take them from us that I promise and promises are meant to be kept. Quick question before you go though - think Y/n will like these matching necklaces I made us? Anything looks cute when its on them - but think it'll fit better than that old scrunchie."

Not a Doll
"I'm not a doll." The girl said, shoulders slumped. "I tried, once. It... didn't work out."
The witch raised an eyebrow, and ran her eyes up and and down the girl. Tense muscles, hollow eyes worn from constant vigilance, a voice without a spark of joy…
'Twas almost as if she could see the ball joints.
Silently, she indicated the girl continue.
She sighed. "It was... about a year ago? I think. My parents... didn't kick me out as such, but they made it clear I was no longer welcome." There's a bitter edge to her tone.
"I was out on the street, looking for a place to spend the night... and that's when I met her. Or rather, she found me. She walked right up to me, a scared, shivering girl, and asked: 'What is a doll doing out all alone?' I didn't know how to respond, so... I didn't."
"She knew exactly what to say. Lured me in with promises of Purpose, of the joys of Stillness and unconditional love... It sounded too good to be true. I didn't care."
The girl gave a wistful sigh. "At first, it was... amazing. I had never known a peace like being Still. Following orders was second nature, and I didn't... I just obeyed, even when I would have been unsure. It was wonderful."
Her eyes narrowed. "It didn't last." She said, with such venom the witch almost flinched.
"Even as a doll, I had boundaries. Things I didn't want to do, couldn't do. My- that witch, she didn't care. She told me it was a doll's duty to do what it was commanded. And I did, but..." She looked towards the ground. "I couldn't stand it, after a while."
"Then, she got a new doll. A new toy." She shook her head. "That's all we were to her. Toys, replaced by the next stray she was breaking in. And that world that had seemed so wonderful became a nightmare."
"So one day, me, and a couple of the others... we got up and walked away. Just up and left. I... I don't think she expected that. Maybe she didn't think it was possible."
The witch nodded at that. Doll rebellion was rare, but not unheard of, especially in... cases like this.
"At first, we lived together, tried to make a better life for ourselves, but..." She sighed again. "We drifted apart. Not much we had in common. I reconnected with old friends, and, well..." She faked a smile. "Here I am. Not a doll."
"Oh, dearie..." In a fluid, almost impossibly smooth motion, the witch wrapped the girl in a hug, her dark cloak enveloping her like a shroud of night. "I'm so, so sorry..."
The girl flinched at the physical contact, but did not recoil. "It's okay. It happens sometimes, right?"
The witch shook her head. "It shouldn't. A doll should never be treated like that."
The girl felt a fuzziness in her chest. "I told you. I'm not a doll."
The witch shook her head. "We both know that's not true, dearie. You wouldn't have explained if it was."
"I..." The girl choked back some tears.
"I can't change what was done to you..." The witch said. "But I can help now. Show you what it really means to be a doll, to be truly loved. But only if you want to. I don't wish to force you, like she did."
"I..." The girl hesitated, taking a step back. "I'm not..."
"It's your choice, dearie. Your heart knows the answer."
The witch smiled, a pure smile of light and dark intertwined, like the gentle embrace of the swirling cosmos. Something in the girl's heart, long buried, stirred.
At last, she spoke.
"I want to try again." Some of the tension- not all, but some, seemed to drain away from her body. "If you'll have me."
"Of course, dearie. This time, we'll make a place where you can truly belong."
And the witch embraced her newest doll once more.

Chapter One ~ Decisions and Desserts
You could feel its lingering presence in the house when you awoke. Hatred, disdain, melancholy. You could almost hold it as it drifted through the air. The breeze that travelled through the corridors of your family home carried the scent of blood. You could taste it on the tip of your tongue. It made your gums sting, tasting bitter and rotten, like a grapefruit forgotten on the tree, left to fall and decay. As the sun peaked over the sullen clouds and the old grandfather clock downstairs chimed ominously, you brushed your fingers against the door that'd been left ajar. The hinges creaked in the cold dawn din, and there in front of you, lying on the bed, were your greatest challenge, your tormentors, your abusers. Your parents were dead.
You sat on the front step of your childhood home, a small bag packed with what little belongings you could call your own sat contently beside you. The sun had pushed itself up from its slumber and shone high above the horizon. You had sat silently at the kitchen table for a few hours, staring down at the home phone in shock. You'd seen plenty of cuts and bruises before, but nothing could have prepared you for what death truly looked like. You had been forbidden from touching the phone, and even now that their lifeless, mangled bodies lay upstairs, you couldn't help but feel a little bit anxious. Finally, summing up the courage, you brushed your fingers against the plastic buttons. Your trance was rudely interrupted by the eerie chime of the doorbell. While a peculiar individual, the man at the door seemed nice enough. He had instructed you to sit outside and wait for him to investigate your home. So you sat, head leaning against the door and legs stretched out down the stairs, the solid canopy above you sheltering you from the incoming heat of the rays of the new day. A gentle pitter-patter came down on the roof above you. The smell of rain and dust made your shoulders relax. You pulled your legs in away from the stairs, the rain coating the tips of your leather boots. A sun shower. You closed your eyes and revelled in the warmth of the sun and the smell of the rain. You felt strangely at peace sitting on the porch of a murder scene.
The door behind you opened, and your body almost fell backwards inside the house. You jolted upright at the movement and sat wide-eyed, looking up at the man above you.
"Hey, hey, sorry, sleepy head", the man laughed gently.
He had perfect white hair that stuck upright in all directions, a black blindfold held it in place.
He kneeled to you, his face a little too close to yours. You flinched back a bit from him, your hand shifting to sit on the wet edge of the deck.
"You have any aunties or uncles?"
You shook your head.
"Grandparents?"
"No sir", you asserted.
"Hmm, well then. I guess you'll have to come with me."
"With all due respect, sir, you randomly showed up at my house, and I don't know you."
He scratched his neck thoughtfully, his skin reddening under his touch.
"Trueeee", he trailed off.
He shifted out of the doorway and closed the door behind him. You felt the wood vibrate gently as he sat down beside you. It was silent for a moment, the world returning to the tranquil, picturesque scene that'd lulled you to sleep in the first place.
"How much do you know?", the man beside you took a bat and brutally smashed apart your serenity.
"Not much, sir. I woke up, and they were dead, and I wasn't", you responded, perhaps a little too coldly.
He faked a shiver as if your words had iced the world over, "Ahh no, not about that. You're a sorcerer, right?"
"You mean like a wizard? No sir, I'm um, I'm..", you paused for a moment to think of how to classify yourself and what you'd been raised to be.
Your mind reverberated behind your eyes, "You are a soldier.", Your thoughts asserted.
"I'm a soldier, that's what I was raised to be anyway", your eyes drifted away from the blindfold on the man's face, and instead, you looked out into the front yard.
"A soldier, huh, in this day and age.. I didn't realise any of them were still alive.", he pondered aloud.
"Sir, who are you?", you returned your gaze up to the man beside you.
He reached a finger up to his blindfold and hooked it underneath the soft fabric dragging it down his face and leaving it to rest around his neck. Long white eyelashes fluttered open, adjusting to the morning light. Staring down at you, with a gentle gaze, were two gorgeous blue eyes. You couldn't help but stare back in quiet awe.
"That's an easy question to answer. I'm a sorcerer. The strongest."
You kicked your leg a little in annoyance, and small droplets of water flew down the toe of your boot. That answer just left you with more questions.
"My turn to ask a question, you've been trained to use cursed energy?", he quirked an eyebrow at you, his eyes bore into yours.
You thought for a moment. Your parents referred to your abilities as cursed energy once or twice, but they usually just referred to it as 'strength' or 'power'. Your father didn't have the ability to do what you could, and your mother never received any sort of training, so her power was lacking compared to yours.
"Yes sir, that's correct."
"So you ARE a sorcerer."
"No sir, I'm a soldier."
"Do you know what sorcerers are?"
"I've read about them. We protect them. Our family has always protected sorcerers."
He chuckled a little, looking out and over the quiet streets of the sparsely populated area you called home. You couldn't help but feel a little dissatisfied with your answer. You'd never actually protected anyone before, let alone the people you were predestined to protect.
"What's your name, kiddo?"
'Kiddo', what a strange term. It snuck a small smile on your face and made the sun's warmth push deeper then just surface level.
"(y/n) (l/n), sir", you spoke firmly but quietly.
"How old are you (y/n)?"
"As of today, I'm eighteen", you spoke as if you knew the man in front of you before scrambling to add on formalities, "Sir."
The man jumped up causing you to clench your fists in surprise, "Well this is no way to spend a birthday", he shook his head as if affirming his own words, "how'd you like to come and live with some sorcerers (y/n)?"
A choice. You'd never really been given one of those before. Certainly nothing this important. You weighed the opportunity despite the little voice in your head jumping around like a frog on cocaine in excitement.
"I suppose that would be okay", you smiled.
The man, who had finally revealed his name to be Satoru Gojo, took your small bag over his shoulder and hurried you into the back seat of a black sedan. He joined you in the back seat, placing the small duffel bag between you. The man in the front seat drove through the quiet suburbs and into the bustling city.
"Stop here, please", Gojo smiled sweetly at the driver.
The both of you exited the vehicle and thanked the driver. You turned to Gojo before tapping your pockets frantically.
"My bag, I left it in the car!", you turned to chase after the long-gone car.
"Ah, don't worry too much. It'll be home when we get there."
"Home?"
"Yeah, your new home that is", Gojo was typing on his phone, not looking at you.
"Are you sure, Gojo, sir?"
He looked up from his phone, removing a hand from the screen and reaching out above you. His palm loomed over the top of your head as you shrunk away from it, but he just ruffled your hair.
"Absolutely sure, (y/n)."
You fixed your hair, uncertain about how to feel about his over-familiarity with you.
"Where are we going, sir?"
"Weeeellll.." Gojo leaned back unnaturally to look at you, "What's an eighteenth without a bit of celebrating, huh? Plus, we have some time to kill before your meeting with the principal."
Gojo beckoned for you to follow him. You'd never been around so many people before, and it was completely overwhelming. The smell of car fumes and fast food was prominent on every corner and you couldn't pick a point to focus.
"Here we are", Gojo opened the door to a small shop, the soft white door frame leaked the smell of sugar. He gestured for you to enter.
Decadent pastries and painstakingly intricate cupcakes decorated glass display cases. Small fairy lights hung from the walls and plants ran from their pots around the perimeter of windows and countertops.
"What's your favourite flavour of cake (y/n)?", Gojo sat with you on the waiting bench.
You weren't really allowed to eat sweets as a kid, although you did have guests over once, and your mother had baked a simple chocolate cake with strawberries on top for them to share at the table. You remembered the smell in the kitchen being intoxicating, hoping that maybe just this once, your parents would give you a piece. During the visit, you were confined from your room, but as you heard the adults shuffle out onto the veranda, you had snuck downstairs. You couldn't help but be a little greedy and grab one of the larger pieces left on the plate. The cake was delicious, and you wished you'd stolen another piece. Unfortunately for you, as you scurried upstairs, your mother caught you through the stained glass window and took a mental note to punish you when the guests had vacated. Regardless, your small victory and your sweet reward almost made the lack of dinner worth it.
"Chocolate I think, with strawberries on top."
"Ooh that does sound nice", Gojo turned longingly towards the display case.
He rose from the seat, gesturing for you to stay seated. The man at the front welcomed Gojo happily.
"Hello sir, how can I help you today?", the man bore a kind smile and a messy apron.
"I'd like to place an order for a birthday cake, please", Gojo tilted his head to the side, trying to look as cute as possible.
The man placed the order for the cake blushing gently at Gojo's antics.
"That should be available for pickup in three days", the man at the counter fiddled with the buttons on the tablet in front of him, "we'll send you a message to let you know."
"Aww that's such a shame, my precious niece will be so upset."
Gojo pulled his blindfold down revealing his eyes and he pushed his hand up through his hair dramatically. He looked dejectedly down at the floor.
"She'll be so upset", he slowly raised his puppy dog gaze up to the cashier, whose face was beet red, clearly enamoured with the tall white-haired man in front of him.
"It'll be ready this afternoon!"
"Oh, thank you so much."
You couldn't help but feel like you'd just watched possibly the most absurd interaction any human being has ever seen. Gojo sauntered back on over to you, two paper bags and takeaway cups juggled between his hands. You couldn't say anything, you just sat there, mouth agape.
"I know, I'm incredible", Gojo fixed his blindfold and passed a cup and a bag down to you.
You nodded your head at him, slowly taking the items from his hands. You and Gojo sat in the café for a while; he'd bought you a strawberry cupcake and a hot chocolate. You chatted with him about your home life and your parents. You couldn't help but notice his eyebrows wrinkle together at some of the things you told him.
"Sir, this might be the best meal I've ever had. Thank you", you smiled contently down the now empty cup and crumpled paper bag.
"Well, be prepared to have that change more often. You'll be totally spoiled at Jujutsu Tech."
You both stood and waved goodbye to the cashier, disposing of your rubbish on the way out.
The car arrived outside of the café right on time to pick you and Gojo up and take you to your new home. Gojo seemed to be certain that you could pull off your interview with the principal, although you couldn't help but feel nervous. You also couldn't deny the pit in the back of your mind that contained the events of the early morning. Your parents laying in their bed, their eternal slumber brutal and unwavering.
"You'll do great! Don't stress too hard, okay kid?", Gojo placed a hand on your back.
You stepped forward through the towering wooden doors, unprepared but at the same time completely ready.

Aaaaaayyyyyy....remember how I said I was working on a serial? Well, here's a teaser from chapter one of...
Someone to Build Me Up
an M/M, medium heat contemporary romance featuring fake dating, strength gyms, and Shakespeare (trust me, it makes sense).
Get the full first chapter, and get updates on when, where, and how you can get the rest, by signing up here.
And here's a little excerpt!
----
"I'm Zack Carter. I'm here for Marcus?" I give him the grin that usually gets me forgiven for being a total doofus.
Instead of saying, "That's me," like I expect him to, the coach points over my shoulder. "I'm Dylan. You can check in with Swizzle Stick over there."
I turn around and spot a desk in the corner, where a figure with a black mop of hair hunches over a sketch pad. When he lifts his head, my eyes widen before I can control myself. It's the man from the coffee shop. He must be the receptionist here. I tamp down a little on the visible shock in my face before sauntering over.
His eyes flick from my head down to my feet and back again, and I automatically pull my shoulders back and suck in my gut. He grabs a clipboard and holds it out to me with long porcelain fingers. He's still dressed in his NIN shirt, but he's taken his rings off and stashed them somewhere. My eyes drift down to the snake bite piercings under his perfectly plush lips, as naturally pink as if he'd applied lip gloss this morning. I know he sees me look, and I feel heat in my ears.
Filling out the forms is a quick process, and then I hand them back to him.
"So, is Marcus here, or…?" I look around at the big, mostly empty room. Maybe he's in the bathroom, or tucked into one of the corners I can't see from the desk here.
"I am Marcus," he says. Then he stands up, and I notice his ripped jeans are replaced by black joggers and Reeboks. His voice is low as bedrock, dark as his eyebrows, hacked through by the graphite in his gaze. It throws a rock into the pit of my stomach.
"You are?"
Until this moment, his expression had been neutral, but now it hardens to granite. "The last time I checked my ID, yes. Marcus Berens."
"It's just you don't look…"
Sometimes I just really can't stop running my mouth. I wonder if they make pills for that now. Here I am, just digging this hole deeper and deeper. Right now, he gives me a blank look, making no gesture to smooth anything over at all. Normally, I'd be able to pick up the slack there, but I can't seem to do anything but stare at him.
And now I notice the way he fills out that shirt. How the sleeves are tight as sausage casing around his arms, how it's stretched taut across his pecs. He might look thin at first glance, but the muscles are there. Oh, are they ever there.
He doesn't pick up my trailed-off sentence, instead leading me closer toward the center of the room, several feet away from Dylan and Bea. It's only when he turns and levels a withering look at me do I realize I'm supposed to be following him.
"I'll show you the facility first," he says.
"This is all stuff I've seen before. Did water polo in high school," I say. Then I realize how inane that sounds. Nobody in my phase of life should be using high school as a touch point for anything. The judgment in his face reflects that exact thought.
"You'll find that your body responds differently to training than it did when you were when you were a teenager," he says, coolly.
"Well, you'd know. You're what, 22?"
"28." His jaw tightens. Clearly he's not the type who is flattered when someone thinks he looks younger than he is.
"Ah, my apologies. I didn't mean to impugn your abilities." I offer a watered down smile, then realize maybe I might seem like I'm trying to flex my vocabulary at him. "I mean, I don't want you to think that I'm—"
"I know what impugn means," he says sharply.
I bite my lip, and catch movement out of the corner of my eye. Dylan is doing a terrible job of looking like he's not eavesdropping. In fact, he might not even be trying to pretend.
"Since you seem to already understand how all this works," he says, weight shifting to one side as he lifts the clipboard and pen. "Tell me what you wish to achieve during our sessions."
Obviously I can't tell him I want to get hot for the dating apps, not even with subtle hints. So, I waffle. "Ah, you know, I'm just getting older and want to start taking better care of myself."
Not looking back up at me, Marcus sighs and clicks his pen. "Could you be less specific?"
"Dude." I can't tell if Dylan's tone is warning or pleading.
Marcus bites his lip, then looks up at me defiantly, flipping his black hair out of his face. The fact that he's about an inch shorter than me means he tips his chin up toward me like he's purposely angling for a fight. This bitchy attitude shouldn't be hot, but I'm weak for a guy or girl who can read the hell out of me.
"How about…I want to get in better shape for my sister's wedding," I say, totally pulling something out of my ass. I can convince myself it's true. It'll accomplish the same thing, right?
His lip curls, only slightly, as if he can smell how full of shit I am. "That'll have to do. Let's test your mobility first," he says.
He sinks to his knees in front of me, setting his clipboard on the ground. He gives me that heavy, judgmental look again before beckoning me to the ground with him.
This is going to be so much harder than I thought it would be.

One more time—here's where you can download chapter 1.

wip/draft i never posted number 3 (i think)
Taking care of someone is the simplest way to show someone what you're feeling about them. And yet, it is one of the most intricate. There is no one way to do it. No guarantee you're going to do it right. Because people are complex and their needs even more so.
It starts simple. Holden is a trembling, pale, feverish mess, and it's impossible for Naomi to ignore that. Not when she feels him squeeze her hand with what must be whatever strength he's left and look at her like-- like she's worth believing in. It's been so long since she felt like that, something more than the shell she made herself to be to survive. Opening up again to the world seems like tearing the stitches open from a half-healed wound and letting the pain back in.
She doesn't do that. She's not ready yet. But she can take care of him in return. Wipe the sweat away from his forehead. Keep a steady hand on his back as his stomach spasms, his body suffers from the incredible amount of radiation, and everything feels out of control. Stay with him, holding his hand as he drifts in and out of consciousness to not let him drift away from their reach.
It doesn't matter, though, because she does more or less the same for Miller because the duty of an XO is to assist the Captain. At least, that's what she repeats over and over to herself because getting attached still feels like too much of a risk.
It does matter, though, because she's seeing glimpses of who Holden really is. She's seen them before, throughout their journey from the Knight to Eros, but the vulnerability paints a different picture. That feels like too much as well because she's seeing pieces of him bare with the lack of energy stripping him of any fake bravado, and Naomi could never give that back. Could never offer pieces of herself like that.
His gaze, even through half lidded eyes, is intense. Naomi is busy with pulling his blanket a little higher at the first signs of shivers, but she can feel his eyes following her every move.
"I'm not cold," he manages to mumble in reply, even if she's more worried about his temperature rising once again. The back of her fingers grace his forehead gently to confirm that, but she's happy to be proven wrong this time. Tremors, then.
Holden leans into her touch subconsciously, and she has to fight the urge to run her fingers through his hair. Where did that even come from?
It's- it's nothing. It's a natural reaction to one of her crew being gravely sick. Holden is still the same infuriating, stubborn, endearing second officer slash new XO slash now captain of their little group.
She tugs at his hair instead, shaking away the unwanted thoughts, and tries to ignore the dopey smile that spreads on his lips at her teasing. "You get to keep your hair. But that means you'll still need that stupid hat as a disguise."
Holden laughs, same as when they were at the bar only lower in strength, and she regrets to acknowledge that it's a pleasant sound. "Ouch, Naomi," he huffs. "Take it easy on a dying man."
But suddenly, the laughter turns into a coughing fit with a thick, wet sound. Whatever teasing remains is wiped from her face and tone in seconds. Healing from radiation poisoning isn't linear, and whatever progress he's shown might be taken a few steps back.
Naomi tries though to keep herself from doing frantic movements. She pretends to smooth out the blanket as she lightly brushes his abdomen and gently asks. "Are you feeling sick again?"
"No."
The reply comes out in the form of a grunt, but he's genuine. She's known in the past week of taking care of him when he pretends to feel better than he actually does. She’s been quite adamant about him being completely honest so as to accurately track his recovery process.
"Think I've been pumped enough anti-nausea stims to last me a year," Holden continues, words slightly dragging from the effort, but his smile is still there. It's enough to offer him a smile of her own. He'll be alright with their help.
"That's good. I've been more familiar with your stomach lining than I'd like," Naomi says, though her tone still stays lighthearted. It is rooted in truth, but it's not taking care of her that bothered her. But finding him in that position.
He chuckles weakly and nods. "Me too."
His eyes droop by the minute, and Naomi finds herself getting up from the stool next to his auto-doc chair.
Holden needs all the rest he can get, and she doesn't want him to be kept awake by her presence. The fact that she's treading into dangerous waters, the barely there blooming emotions and newfound fondness, is one she prefers to ignore.
That's how she has lived for the past decade. Ignore, suppress, and move on. Numb herself enough to wake up day after day after day.
The past weeks have been different, though. They've awoken not only the beginnings of a bond between people she barely knows despite working together for years but an older flame. One that drew her to terrible decisions, yet one that is necessary to survive in the Belt. For if she extinguishes it, how many more innocent Belters will pay the price of Inners' wrath. A whole station is already gone, and no one but the five of them know it.
"You promised to teach me how to win at cards," Holden's shaky voice whines, and it pulls her back in an instant.
One disaster at a time, Naomi.
First, they'd get the crew back on their feet and then, they could plan the next steps forward.
"Mhmm, no sa sa," Naomi shrugs with her hands. "Can't betray Amos like that."
A smug smile suddenly crosses his face, and it is difficult to acknowledge that instead of the usual contempt, relief blooms in its place. Even if Holden still looks far too pale, even for his standards.
"I knew you too always found a way to cheat. Made the rest of us look like idiots every time."
There weren't many things to do on long hauls, even with a crew as large as the Cant's. The weekly card games between decks were a usual occurrence. Usually, they were held among the Belters of the crew and turned into who could get away with the most without others noticing. Counting cards, alliances, all were fair. It was a way to change up the games in the routine.
Most Inners came for a few games and then left after realizing that winning would be difficult. It's not like they bet anything other than shitty and less shitty shifts. Holden was one of the few from the upper decks that stayed even after continuously losing. He didn't always come, but it was at an enough frequency that meant he, at least, enjoyed himself.
"You kept coming anyway," Naomi retorts back, neither denying nor accepting the accusation.
"I had fun."
"Then, we'll play again when you're not minutes away from passing out." Naomi offers, a playful grin raising her mouth. "Might even take it easy on you, Captain."
Holden agrees despite her teasing tone, but a yawn muffles his reply, "Deal."
"Get some rest, Jim."
"You too, Naomi."
Before she even makes it out the door, he's already asleep, and for the first time in a while, Naomi manages to sleep peacefully for a few hours.

I keep thinking about Gekkou and I think my mind will explose
(The analysis you're about to read is absolutely not organized well, be warned)
Am I the only one who immediatly thought the song has nothing to do with the event and didn't understood why ? Because now I really think this song was just looking back on what already happened and foreshadowing what would happen next
The first verse is Akito's past, between RW and meeting Toya
Same for the chorus but that line
"I kept having dull dreams, just tracing someone else"
The second verse seems to be about how he felt when he met Toya
The next chorus makes me feel ILL.
"Not even knowing my solitude you were alone looking at the stars" is at the same time Akito talking about Toya and Toya talking about Akito because Toya sing the line with the others before Akito sing a line alone
The foreshadowing is coming next line to me because...
"You, stood next to me, were so far away, I hadn't be able to see dull dreams anymore"
An sing that line... The dream they are chasing is RW... The line could refer about Nagi-san as well as Kohane considering An's mindset, the one who were once so close start to drift apart, or already leave and now her dream seems... You got me
"But I still kept on chasing your back"
Kohane finished the line and... It's just sick idk. Once again it's at the same time about how VBS feels about RAD WEEKEND right now but also about AnHane's situation and-- it's so insane guys I can't take it anymore I think I'll die soon
Ahem
"Whether I'm fake or not, looking back now, there was only blurred memories"
That line didn't make sense during Power of Unity, right after Legend Still Vivid... But now ?? Now ???
I don't even know what to say about the next part it could be interpreted in so much ways at once
I'll just say that Toya getting the line saying "Another rehash of someone else's work ?" Considering his past with classical music hit me very hard, even if I know the line is actually what people in Vivid Street said to Akito when he started
"Merciless Moonlight"
You can't analyse Gekkou without talking about the song's name, and since that line gives me the occasion... "Moonlight"
Trying to reach the moon means your objectives seems irrealistic and impossible to reach (RW)
Meanwhile, DerMond, "The Moon" in German, seems to be the name of a clothing brand in Project Sekai's world, considering it's written on the back of Toya's jacket
"Past noon when sheep-like clouds float" Kick it up a Notch!, I mentionned this already
"A nostalgic song is swaying in the wind" Nostalgia... Is it about Machi ? Vivid Old Tale ?
I'm not sure about the next lines, but they are Toya's then Akito's, and if it was also related to Walk on and On and then Find a Way Out I think I'll explode
"The word that you said to me, I've written the same thing down so I won't forget them even now"
I'm not sure myself so I'll let the line here and hope someone will be able to confirm
"My thirsty heart remains unsatisfied" +2DMV = ColorFes Akito, I said that too
The line about not looking away once you'll turn back to look after time will pass is once again hitting different after the last VBS event (Light Up The Fire, if people from the future wonder), despite also being about Akito himself
And then what can I say... I hope that they'll find their own light and keep shining bright forever once they will be able to move on from what they just learn
That feel very messy and not organized at all I'm sorry
Just go check Gekkou's translations again... There's a lot of things in the lyrics we couldn't notice before, the duality of the song is crazy... By the way, does the expression "The hidden side of the moon" exist in english ? Because it exist in French and it fit the situation too well... In several ways... Because their dream had a hidden side and the song too damn I'm tired of all of this I'm off

"you're cute when you're jealous." + the duckie couple?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heather Dunbar x Jackie Sharp.
Jackie didn't know how Heather did it, the other woman was always so eloquent and well put together, seamlessly weaving through the crowd, group by group while she made conversation. She was so confident that she could slip into any circle mid conversation and everyone would notice, and in the best way possible, she always knew what to say and it was always the right thing. She truly had been born for a career in politics and it showed on nights like tonight.
Nights like tonight were some of Jackie's least favorite. The galas, the schmoozing, the pretending to be friends and on the same page as everyone in the room just to make sure you got what you wanted and didn't end up with a figurative knife in your back. The main thing she did like about them was that Heather always took her shopping before them, letting her pick out the fanciest gowns, most luxurious jewels and usually even treated her to a spa day. Not to mention the lacy lingerie that would be laid out on their bed the day of, hinting that Jackie must be wearing it under whatever dress she'd ended up choosing. Jackie also knew as long as she behaved and kept a polite smile on her face and did her job, Heather would absolute ravish her when they got home.
Which is exactly why she was doing her best to uphold conversation with a senator from Georgia, pretending she agreed with anything he was saying. He eventually dove into a topic about military, finally something she could actually have a voice in, experience in and maybe there was something they saw eye to eye on. He commended her, thanking her for her service but was still condescending about it, teasing that someone as small and delicate as she was must've been a lot of help in the kitchen for those boys.
Her lips formed a pout around the rim of her glass and her gaze drifted across the room, catching a wide smile on Heather's face as she greeted Cathy Durant. Her eyes narrowed at the way she kissed her cheek, her lips lingering a little too long on the other woman's cheek as they embrace. Jackie crossed her arms over her chest and if you'd asked Heather, she would have said the brunette went as far as to stomp her foot. Heather could feel her love's eyes on her from across the room and glanced up, a laugh fading into a smirk as she winked at the other woman, nudging at Cathy who glanced over and gave Jackie a cheery wave. Jackie promptly put on a fake smile and raised her glass in a cheers before turning back to the senator. He was deep into a rant about the public school system so she rolled her eyes and managed to slip away undetected to make her way back up to the bar.
She drained her glass, passing it off to a bartender once it was empty and thanked them with a warm smile when they passed her a full one. She let out a small sigh, playing with her drink for a moment before she felt a hand on her waist and rolled her eyes, thinking it was someone trying t get handsy until Heather's lips hit her bare shoulder and she could smell her perfume.
"You're cute when you're jealous." She murmured and Jackie huffed, turning to face her while Heather grabbed a fresh drink.
"I'm not jealous."
"Yeah right." Heather laughed, "you're pouting like a toddler right now."
"I'm bored." She insisted.
"Well, Remy and Seth just went out for cigars, go shoot the shit with them for a bit while I do one last round and then we can go home."
"Promise?"
"Yes." Heather left a feather light kiss on the tip of her nose, "I know you hate nights like tonight." Her voice lowered, husking so only Jackie could hear her, "but you've been a very good girl for mommy and you'll be getting rewarded wonderfully once we get home." Jackie's eyes lit up as she glanced up to Heather, who chuckled darkly, fingers pinching at the other woman's chin as she leant in for a gentle kiss, "forty minutes top. I promise."
"Thank you." Jackie muttered back, a bright smile on her face as Heather disappeared into the crowd and she made her way outside to drop the political show and actually enjoy some time with Remy before leaving.
Yes, nights like tonight were dreadful, but as long as she had Heather, they would always finish in the greatest possible way.

Angst? *cracks knuckles* take some ideas from my writers blocked brain B) hopefully one of these will inspire a lil sumthin sumthin in you 😏
Heres a classic. MC has a terminal illness they didn't tell Levi about. And him hurting them just ruined their chances of being together until their death. OR they develops hanahaki disease because its now clear that Levi doesn't actually "love them" 😏
Ooorrrr.... Levi has to watch as a character of your choice steals MC away right infront of him.... maybe eventually he goes to knock on their door with a peace offering but then is subjected to listen to them getting their brains fucked out ;)
OR maybe MC and Levi "make up"... with MC saying its fine, they understand, they're over it.... but the next time they fuck, MC cries out a character's (or one of the brother's!) name as *they* cum.... and Levi can't really say anything because this was exactly what he did to them and now *he* gets to suffer while thinking he deserves this 😏
Brain doesn't wanna write a whole thing, so here is this Lil piece anon!  XD
Fr, if you guys have a second chapter other than this one (which ain't a Canon chp 2 but just a lol piece) then send em in or tag me.
#######
You woke up feeling nauseous. Of course you've been this way ever since Levi screamed out her name instead of yours yesterday. So it was no wonder you felt terrible. The need to vomit hit you again. Willing fresh air into your lungs and letting out deep breaths you managed to will it away for the moment.
Your phone going off loudly from your desk made you sigh. Time to get up for R.A.D.. ugh... if there was one thing you didn't want to do, it was sit next to Leviathan during your third class of the day. The teacher was a stickler for seating charts though.
Getting ready for the day, it caught you off gaurd... vomiting suddenly. Clawing at your own throat you began to panic. It felt choking. Like something trying to crawl out of you. Shoving your fingers in your mouth you felt it. Something blocking the back of your throat. Grabbing it firmly you pulled it out quickly to regain your breathe.
In your hand was a crumpled, slimy, flower.
Peculiar... to say the least... but not the strangest thing to happen to you since arriving to the Devildom.
----------------------------
"Solomon texted me. You'll never fucking believe what's happening!" Asmodeus ran over to Satan, who was putting his book down with a sigh.
"He painted his fingers nails?" Satan guessed tone rough. He wasn't very happy, his book just started to get interesting.
"No! He just gave Mc a potion for Hanahaki disease. So I'm freaking out! Who do you think did it too them? Oh‐ do you think Lucifer curbed Mc? Like he is alw-"
"No. As funny as it would be to watch Lucifer squirm if he caused this, he did not."
     "Well...WHO?" He motioned excitedly.
"You didn't hear it from me... but I over heard Mc, Lucifer and Mammon talking last night about why Levi summoned Lotan. He got jealous. Mc was faking having sex with Mammon to make Levi furious. Which worked. Hence Lotan-"
"Mc knows they could ask any of us to really, actually fuck them though... right?" Asmo interrupted.
"I don't think any of us have a chance now..." The Avatar of Wrath huffed. "Levi said Ruris name while he was cumming inside of Mc."
"Oh my..." Asmos sentence trailed off. "So Mc's Hanahaki is from him, because of what he did."
"You mean, the ultimate rejection? The worst way possible to find out who you care for doesn't care as much as you do? Then yes......Doesn't really matter now though, you said Solomon gave them a potion, right?"
"Yes! It should stop it, right?"
"Oh, it'll stop it alright. Mc won't die or continue to vomit flowers." Satan's eyes drifted off in thought.
"Well... how does it work?" The Avatar of Lust asked in a sassy tone. He was way to far behind in the gossip, and he was not happy to be behind any longer.
"Mc is gonna spend the next few hours throwing up everything. All the flowers and all their romantic love for Leviathan."
"Ew, but can you really throw up an emotion?"
"The potion gathers the feeling and expels them. Mc will never romantically love Leviathan again. The receptors for it and connectio-"
The sound of something hitting the floor drew their eyes to no one other than Leviathan who was struck dumb in the doorway.
"Th-they'll... they won't... ever...l-love me again?" Tears began to stream down his face. Of course. Of course a silly Otaku like him would mess it all up. He messed up so bad that Mcs only option was death or... or this...
Asmodeus let out a deep breath he hadn't known he was holding. "I don't know if they'll ever love anyone again, Levi. You betrayed them on a level that even I, the Avatar of Lust, who fucks a different person every night, haven't even done."
"Asmodeus!" The fourth born scolded sharply.
"Well, it's the truth. I won't lie to him"
"It's called having some tact." Satan sighed.

prompt: “Sorry, I think my brain stopped working for a second when you said you loved me.”
i know you probably want fanfic but i couldn't find a pairing i could write well enough with that prompt so...
her ya go!
Locke was fucked. And she meant fucked.
They were pacing between a short stretch of trees in their local forest trying to deal with what they had done.
You ask what Locke had done?
You'll see.
Also with her, was Leta.
Locke had knew of Leta since 4th grade. She had only gotten to know her at the beginning of sophomore year. And once they got the know her, her life was changed.
Locke was in all honestly shit at keeping friends. She'd befriend them and think Wow, their so cool! We're gonna have a friendship that I'll tell people in my old age. This is going to be something out of a coming-of-age film! But that was always short lasted.
Because the thing about Locke, was that they always git tired of people. Loved them for a while until the newness of it all faded and they drifted apart. The other person finding people who would actually care about them. Not make up fake activities and plans to get out of hanging out. Not ignore their texts because all of a sudden her friend had become annoying. Not give them short, curt answers until they left on their own. All because Locke got tired of people as if they were nothing but songs you'd play on repeat until you despised them.
Until Leta, Leta was something else entirely.
She didn't feel new or exciting, she was familiar, like Locke had known her since she was born. She was a warm hearth, she wasn't a coming-of-age film but instead the old and used copy of The Mysterious Benedict Society that Locke would read when their emotions started drowning them in ceaseless noise and weight.
And right now Leta was sitting on the old tree stump that the two of them had claimed as their own. This little pocket of the woods wasn't really that far from houses and streets but it felt like it.
There was a tall, thick pine tree that fallen and its uppermost branches lied on the floor, creating a shelter for two teenagers who wanted something that wasn't real life.
It made them feel like they were living among faeries, as if the forest had a mind of its own and let two children believe that it had shown them this spot, as if it was their hide-away from a harsh world and not a random spot in a tiny forest by the huge suburb's they lived in's reservoir. Like a 35 year old man and his wife didn't bring their huge husky named Vince here, like the couple didn't feel like the forest had shown them this spot, like it wasn't their spot and no one else who knew about it. It made the two teens feel as if an old man walked through this without giving a thought to the notion that the forest had chosen him.
But it had become Locke and Leta's spot. It was the one thing Locke had chosen to love. Yes she loved her family but that was by nature. She had chosen to give a piece of her heart to this tiny piece of the woods.
When Locke had dragged Leta to this foliage-covered spot on Friday night she had gasped, and said, "I hate saying stuff like this but I feel like I'm in a stupid YA novel right now!" And she had turned to Locke with her tightly-curled dark hair whipping around with her she smiled that crooked smile of hers and Locke had thought, like many times in the past, that their friendship wouldn't fade even as they both breathed their final breaths. But this time, unlike the others, it had felt real. Not some hopeful wish that Locke had wanted to come true. It was real and it felt like that moment was the only one in the world. Like everything else was a dream and now Locke was awake. Awake like she hadn't been since kindergarten, when life was fun, and not something she wanted to run to made-up worlds in her head to escape.
Leta had been sitting on the stump while Locke was crushing plants under feet for the past ten minutes or so.
"Leta? Is everything alright?" Locke asked, pausing her nervous pacing to crouch down by Leta, their hand was tapping their thigh while waiting for Leta's answer.
"It's just that," Locke continued refusing to look anywhere near Leta, "You, um, you don't really- don't exactly seem all that alright."
Great fucking job! That's exactly what you say to someone who's obviously not alright!
Leta turned to Locke, and Locke finally looked at her. "Sorry, I think my brain stopped working for a second when you said you loved me.” She said, pushing herself off the stump. "I'm a-fucking-okay in fact!" She yelled at Locke, her eyes that usually was warm and twinkling like she was someone's fairy godmother now turned into rabid dog's desperate gaze, her eyes were slightly wet, like she was about to cry.
Shit, shitshitshitshit, Locke thought, This is what you get for telling your closest friend that you love her! You're only fifteen! What do the fuck do you know about love?! You fucking idiot! You're pushing her away, like you have all your other friends!
"Well aren't you going to explain yourself?!" Leta asked, voice breaking on the very last syllable.
Locke stood up from where they were crouching, "I said I loved you. What else is there to explain?" They said, calm and cool and slightly detached like they always spoke. Because what will happen if she actually showed all her emotions not just the ones she specifically selected, like the ones for shows and movies she likes. But never, not ever the ones that mattered. The ones that howled and moaned. That scratched and tore and bit. Never the ones that were bleeding from pulled out teeth and scratched out eyes.
"Oh wow! What a way with words you have! I think it's a normal Friday night! And then you tell me, and I quote, 'I'm pretty sure I'm in love with you' like it's no big deal and don't even explain!?" Leta is standing but her knees are quivering ever so slightly and tears are slowly making their way down her freckled face as she laughs, half hysterical and half emotionless.
Locke started laughing too, tears partially choking the laughs so they were wet and desperate. "Oh you want me to explain?! You want me to explain!" The raw, hot, and painful emotions breaking through the carefully placed veil.
Leta gave Locke her patented stare. The one that meant Of fucking course I did now start talking. The one she used when she ran out of patience for Locke's stupid antics. "Yeah I do. Now tell me," She demanded and Locke had no choice but to oblige.
"I think I'm falling in love with you because this isn't something new. It's not like you came out of nowhere and whisked me into a new way of life. It's like you were always there but only now you're something more than a memory I only wished to have. You've always been there I just never remembered. But now I do and now I think I'm fucking love. Never thought I'd be in love at fifteen but here I fucking I am! So there! There's your goddamn explanation! Are you happy!?" Locke screamed, her voice hoarse from the emotions that had torn and scratched their way out her mouth. A hungry wolf set free, running towards the woods, to freedom. To pain and joy and everything that was real.
Locke collapsed onto the slightly damp forest blood, her shaky laughs being stained by the sobs racking her body.
Leta just stood there, the shock of discovering something new was on her face. That expression was for the rare times when Leta had been outsmarted, it was for the few times she wasn't a step ahead of everyone. "Oh," she stated, staring straight into Locke's watery eyes.
"That was quite the explanation," She continued, sitting in front of Locke and pushing short, black strands of hair behind their face.
Leta's tone was gentle and so were her eyes. She gingerly placed a hand on Locke's cheek, "Would it be a good thing if I told you that I might be falling in love with you?"
Locke gasped softly, softer than she had ever done anything. Locke was all sharp edges and hard truths, softened only by Leta.
Locke searched Leta's, checking if this was a prank even though she knew Leta would never, and sure enough it wasn't.
They smiled a half-smile, "I think it might be, but only might."
Leta choked out a chuckle at this, "You're a fucking idiot you know? It's a good thing that I might be in love with you." She smiled and embraced Locke, letting the taller teen collapse into her stout and strong build. Locke was sniffling and clinging to Leta as if she was the only thing that was real. And to Locke, she was.

MEET THE MUN!
name — Ghost/Ghosty
pronouns — she/her
preferred comms — Discord (Ask for Discord!) and Tumblr IMs
name of muse —
Main Muse: Strelitzia Side Muse: Cinderella
experience in RP — A long time. I've been rping since the Myspace days! Then I bounced around a lot. Left Tumblr for a few years and recently came back.
best experiences — I used to be a part of the Kingdom Hearts community back when Tumblr was really thriving (in the early 2010's), when rping in groups rather than independently was a big thing. I roleplayed Vanitas and made some really awesome friends in that group! We called ourselves the KH Crack Crew, lol. We would all talk every day on Skype! Those were good times and sometimes I still think about all of them. We just sort of drifted apart when we started to explore other fandoms, and yeaaaaa.... I still miss my KHCC squad sometimes, though we're all still friends on Facebook!
pet peeves / dealbreakers — Godmodding. I can't stand it. Even if it's something as small as assuming what my character is going to do next. If you want to have the scene go a certain way, there's a way you can write it and if my character does deviate from your original plan, you can take the story elsewhere. That's what can make rp really fun! The only times I'm willing to let it slide is in drabbles, lol.
My other pet peeve is taking what my character does way too personally outside of character. Like, ya'll know this is fake, right? lmao. At the end of the day, we're just writing our silly little characters in our silly little worlds. If it's ruining your day that badly, please go outside and touch some grass.
muse preference ( fluff, angst, smut ) — So I'm actually a huge sucker for romance plots. Romance, fluff, smut, slice of life. Also omegaverse, hehehe. I'm also a huge historical romance nut (think Bridgerton, lol)!
I've sort of moved on from fandom muses and now focus more on OC's (I really only rp on Discord these days, and 9/10 times it's M/M. I do have a F/F historical romance plot that I adore rn tho). Strelly and Cindy are the first muses I've picked up in years, and started rping on Tumblr again. So sometimes I feel rusty playing an established character I didn't make myself. But I'm trying! 〒▽〒 Anyways, give me that romantic nasty shit!! And make it gay as hell!!
plot or memes — Both! I think it's fun to meme and get into a character's mind that you normally wouldn't get a chance to play out. Or just being silly gooses. But I'm also down for always plotting and making something deep and personal!
long or short replies — Either, or! It depends on the plot, the situation that's happening in the story, or what length my rp partner sends me. I'm pretty good about matching the length of a partner's. Unless I got nothing else to say, then it'll be on the shorter side. Like, if our characters are just chatting and there's no action involved, of course it's going to be short.
best time to write — In the mornings! I do rp replies in between slow periods at work. I work from home, so I can get away with it, lol. Which is why you'll see me online for a good part of the day. It's also when I have the most energy. I'm an early bird and I'm burnt out by the time the evening rolls around. Sometimes I can write in the evenings, but that's very rare. So I try to knock out as much as I can in the mornings.
I'm rarely RARELY available on the weekends. That's when I'm the busiest~
are you like your muse —
I'd say yes. Although I don't have a green thumb like Strelitzia. I can't keep plants alive for the life of me. I have a lot self doubts like her too, and I struggle to make friends since I'm incredibly shy and struggle to connect with others on a personal level. ಥuಥ Me and Strelly be fighting for our lives out here!
Cinderella though, I resonate with her a lot. I grew up in a household where I was the cleaner and cook, and I just... know exactly how she feels, LOL.

the most absolutely accurate personality test i have come up with is how people react to me once they've told me personal information. like if you're one of those people who realizes later they can't trust me to stay neutral because i'm not actively favoring you or still act civil to the person you've decided is your opponent please just don't tell me anything about yourself i can't deal with the weight of your insecurity and control issues on my soul.

"I hear sex is a great way to relieve stress."
Y/N scoffs, "if you can find someone in London who can do a better job than my vibrator, then please send them my way." Her head turns to look at her best friend, meeting his caramelised eyes that had been watching her for the last few minutes. "Oh, I'm serious, Mason," she continues, feeling no embarrassment to admit it to him, "that thing is a lifesaver after having shitty sex."
Mason turns his head, shifting to rest his weight onto his elbows as he props the upper half of his body up. "I could do a better job than your vibrator," he replies, the confidence practically slapping her across the face.
"Next joke-"
"What?" He cuts her off, "you don't think I could?"
She sits up from the rug they were both laid on, her hand reaching out to sympathetically pat his shoulder. "I'm sure you believe you could," she comments, moving to lean against the end of her bed. "I'll just stick to my vibrator, thanks."
"Scared I'll do too good of a job and you'll come crawling back for more?"
She rolls her eyes, cocky Mason was never really her favourite version of him. "You're hyping yourself up way too much," she warns him, brushing her hair out of her face. "You'll be surprised by the number of women who fake it."
"They weren't faking it."
"You sure about that?"
"One hundred per cent sure."
"Prove it." It's a last-second decision, one that could ruin their friendship, but a chance she was willing to take. That and she was desperate to relieve the stress she had been feeling all week. "Prove that you're better than my vibrator."
Mason shifts to sit on his knees, a flutter of excitement residing in his stomach that left his jeans feeling tighter. He leans over her, letting one hand drift down her side and the other tangling in her hair as he brushes it away from her face. Hot breath touches her lips, both of them staring at each other's and waiting for one of them to make the first move.
"You sure about this?" He asks, licking his bottom lip.
"One hundred per cent sure," she repeats his own words.
His hand presses to the back of her head, pulling her into him as he finally kisses her. Neither can deny nor ignore the jolt of electricity they feel as their lips come together, leaving both feeling a little fuzzy as they break away. She shows half a smile, liking how his fingers felt hooking under her chin and his thumb brushing lightly against her bottom lip.
"So, what do you like?" Mason asks, wanting this to be completely about her pleasure.
"A little bit of everything," she replies, moving to kneel in front of him. Her hands take hold of them of her shirt, pulling it up over her head and tossing it to the side. The smile grows wider when she catches him ogling her chest, licking his lips at the swell of her breasts in the black bralette she wore. "I like it when I'm kissed here," she shows him on his own body, kissing the underside of his jaw. A giggle forms when she hears his breath catch in the back of his throat. "And here," she mumbles, kissing further down his neck.
She takes his hand, guiding his fingers over her chest. "I like it when I'm touched here." He takes a little control, brushing his thumb over her nipple that had hardened by the cold air. She lowers his hand further, bringing it around to the mound of her arse. "I like it when I'm touched here." Again, he takes a little control, digging the tips of his fingers into the plump of her cheek. "But, more importantly," she mumbles, bringing his hand away from her arse and down between her legs. His hand cups her pussy, the soft cotton shorts she wore acting as a barrier. "I like it when I'm touched here."
He starts to palm her through her shorts, creating little whimpers to filter through her lips. The simple sound has his cock twitching in his jeans. "Anything else?" Mason asks, dipping to kiss the very spot on her neck where she likes to be kissed.
"Depends." Mason pulls back to look at her, a devilish glint in her tone spiking his curiosity. Her head tilts to the side, her smile becoming a smirk. She dances her fingers across his crotch. Y/N would like to say she was surprised by the size of the bulge forming in his jeans, but she wasn't; Mason has accidentally gotten hard on a few occasions they've fallen asleep cuddled up together. She never teased him about it, because it was a natural response of the human body. "Do we like to play dirty?" Y/N questions him, "because I like to play dirty."
"What's your definition of dirty?"
She shuffles closer to him, pulling him down to whisper into his ear. "If it's your sort of thing," she whispers, trailing her tongue against the shell of his ear, "you have my permission to choke me." His lips are parted when she pulls back to look at him, eyes darkening at her words, but she hasn't finished. Her thumb touches his bottom lip, pulling it down a little. "And if you need to spit anywhere, just make sure my mouth is open first."
"Like right now?" Mason hooks his fingers under her chin, using his thumb to pry open her mouth, pushing down on her bottom lip. She's quick to stick her tongue out, watching from below with hungry eyes as he gathers the spit together. A trail of saliva spills from his bottom lip, dropping and pooling on her tongue, both of them humming as she takes pulls it into her mouth. "Good girl," he utters, grinning as the words leave her eyes rolling back. He quirks his eyebrow. "Praise kink, huh?"
"I was a high achiever in school, okay," she fires back, "it's only natural."
Y/N lies down on her rug, watching Mason remove his hoodie and the t-shirt underneath it. His body was beautiful, sculpture to represent the endless hours of working out in a gym. He knocks her legs apart, kneeling in between them and resisting the urge to jump straight in. He leans over her, her fingers running through his hair, humming as the soft locks slip between them.
"I'm waiting."
"Patience, princess," Mason scolds, teasing being the one thing he was best at. His hand cups her chest, Y/N whimpering when his thumb brushed over her nipple. "Those noises are beautiful," he praises, lowering his head. His eyes peer up at her as he drags his tongue against the material and over the bud. "Keep making them, baby," he encourages, switching his attention to the opposite side and repeating his action, "I want to hear you."
"Mase, my housemates," she stutters, whining as he grazes his teeth across her nipple, "the walls are thin."
"And?" He raises his eyebrows, eyes never leaving hers. "I'm pretty sure they think we're already dating." It was true; Y/N had often been bombarded with questions about the status of her friendship with Mason. Her housemates found it hard to believe two people could just be friends. "Now they'll just think we're fucking," he concludes, using the slight reaction to slide his hand inside her shorts. The absence of underwear gives him a nice surprise. "Dirty girl," Mason chuckles, pooling her wetness on the tips of his fingers, "a dirty girl who's already dripping for me."
His fingers press against her clit, rubbing in quick circular motions. It'd be a lie if Mason said he hadn't thought about this, but the sounds she made for him and the way she squirmed under him was nothing like he had dreamed. He holds her hip down as they attempt to move, bucking into his hand. She was touch starved and he could tell.
"How long has it been since someone touched you like this?" Mason asks, inserting one finger with ease. He pumps it a couple of times, working it in and out of her, before inserting a second. "And I mean touched you like this," he reiterates, "left you feeling breathless, dripping before you've even been touched and left you with weak knees?"
She gulps at the air, swallowing hard and very aware of the flush creeping up her neck. "Too long," she answers, biting her bottom lip. Louder moans roll freely off her lips, Mason's thumb pressing against her clit and working in conjunction with the two fingers slipping in and out of her. "Please, make me cum," she begs, the familiar warm feeling spreading in the pit of her stomach.
"Beg for it again."
"Baby, please," she whimpers, pleading with lust-filled eyes, "I'm so close to cumming, just don't stop."
"Fuck," he curses, gripping her hip tighter and pushing her further into the rug, "I love it when you call me baby." He speeds up his fingers, curling them to brush against the sweetest part of her. His mind goes blank as she squeezes around his fingers, the sensation numbing his whole body and leaving him longing to be nestled between her tight walls. "Cum for me," he encourages, working his thumb quicker against her clit, "cum for me, princess. Do it. Cum for me now!"
Her body reacts to his words: thighs tensing, knees shaking and her back arching off the floor. She screams his name into her hand, clasping it tight over her mouth, but he's quick to remove it, pinning her hand above her. "Those noises are music to my ears," Mason tells her, lips ghosting against hers, "I want to hear every single one of them. You can do that for me, can't you?" Y/N nods her head. "Good girl." She clenches tighter at the two simple words, the effect they had on her driving him crazy.
Y/N whimpers when he retrieves his fingers, her hungry eyes rolling back as they purposely brush against her clit. There pushed between his lips, tasting her on his tongue for the first time. He's hooked. Addicted. Desperate to taste more.
"Come here," she beckons him to her, lips crashing together feverishly. Her fingers tangle in his hair, pulling on his roots until he's groaning against her. "I can taste myself on your tongue," she notes, breaking for air.
"You taste fantastic," Mason replies, sinking his teeth into her bottom lip and giving it a gentle tug as he pulls away, "but I think I need a second taste." He sits himself up, curling his fingers around the sides and waiting for her to give him permission. "Can I?"
She nods her head, liking the smile that break on his face. Her hips lift a little, making it easier for him to remove her bottoms, flinging them over his shoulder. A giggle emits from her lips as she watches the land, hooking themselves on her door handle.
Mason lowers himself to lie between her legs, his hand running up the outside of her right thigh, kissing the inside. He hooks both legs over his shoulders, dragging her forwards to him. "Fuck, she's pretty," he groans, gazing at her pussy. His nose brushes against her clit, sending jolts of pleasure through her and leaving her whimpering for more. "Pretty and tasty," he makes the comment, tongue dragging against her.
"God, you're so cheesy," Y/N rolls her eyes.
"Be careful, sweetheart," Mason retorts, dragging his tongue once more against her, "I'm the only one who's making you cum." He chuckles, the vibrations felt against her. The tip of his tongue skims across her clit, sucking the little bud into his mouth. A little below, he reinserts two fingers, fingering her at a harsh pace. "Gonna have you cumming in no time," he confidently boasts.
"Stop boasting and just do it," Y/N fires back, the cocky side to him not even appealing when his head was swimming between her thighs.
He pulls out his fingers and sits himself up, Y/N huffing out of protest. "You're a bit of a brat, aren't you?" He goads her, wiping his chin clean.
"You did not just-"
"Leave you on the edge?" He sniggers at her pout. "Teasing is my speciality, now turn onto your front," Mason instructs, rushing to remove the rest of his clothes. She obliges his request, turning over onto her stomach. "God," he groans, taking in a sharp breath as his hand wraps around his shaft. He jerks himself a few times, the pad of his thumb smearing the pre-cum spilling from the tip over the head of his cock. "Your body is gorgeous," he mumbles, running his free hand down the small of her back and over the curvature of her arse.
"Mason, please," she lifts her hips, desperate to feel anything. A whimper falls from her lips, feeling the tip of his cock running against the crack of her arse and teasing her dripping hole. She needed him now. "Baby," she whines not being able to push back onto him, "I need you."
His cock twitches in his hand, his bottom lip catching between his teeth as he lets out a groan. The tip eases into her, Mason waiting before he pushes the rest of himself in. "Look at me," she cranes her head back to look at him, eyes peering at him through fallen strands of her hair, "say it again."
"Baby, I need you," Y/N repeats, clenching around his tip. Her lips break apart, moaning his name under her breath, fingers grasping at her rug as he pushes the rest of himself in. He groans into her ear as he bottoms out, his hips flushed against her backside and leaning over her body. "Go slow," she whispers, looking for him. His fingers brush her hair out of her face, his heart beating faster when he looks into her eyes. Their lips lazily press together, neither caring for the messiness of it. "I want this to last."
"You think we're only doing this once?" Mason asks, the confidence dripping from his words. A soft kiss is pressed behind her ear, his breath fanning her neck as backs up his hips. He pants as he thrusts back in, bottoming out again. "No," he finds his voice again, "I don't think so."
Her hand relaxes, reaching behind to hold onto the back of his neck. His lips stayed on the back of her neck and shoulders, mumbling sweet nothings and phrases of praise into her warm skin. They were sure by now her housemates knew what was happening, neither caring to continue silencing their whimpers or their moans. He would feel his cock twitch every time she moaned his name, falling more in love with the sound each time she did.
"Who's better?" Mason nips lazily at the shell of her ear. He thrusts harder into her, hissing as her nails dig into his neck. "Who's better?" He repeats the question. "Me or your vibrator?"
"You," she stutters, the coil tightening in her stomach for the third time that afternoon. She barely got to feel this sensation with any guy she had slept with. Her hand drops from his neck, grasping at the rug again. "Mason, don't stop," she pants, taking in short breaths, "just...don't..." The words disappear, evolving into moans, which are mostly muffled by the rug, as reaches another high.
Mason continues to fuck her through her high, slowly the movement of his hips to hold off from cumming; as much as he'd like to, he wasn't finished with her just yet. "Shit," he curses, her thighs continuing to spasm as she clenches tightly around him. A little chuckle falls into her ear. "You're squeezing me so tight," he grunts, moving back so he's kneeling behind her again, "keep doing that I'll be cumming inside this pretty pussy."
"Then do it."
"What?" His hips were still, the tip of his cock teasing her entrance. She had caught him off guard, never expecting her to reply like that. "Say that again," he orders, groaning as she backs herself onto him, pushing him back inside.
"I want you-" Y/N pauses, lifting herself up onto her elbows and twisting her head back. Her eyes lock onto his deep caramelised eyes, a shiver running down her spine at just how clouded they were with desire. "I want you to cum inside me," she repeats her answer, biting her bottom lip. She whimpers as he pulls out, a surprised yelp leaving her mouth when he turns her onto her back.
He hikes her legs high above his waist, a loud groan spilling from his lips as he pushes back into her. "Want me to fill this pretty pussy with my cum, hmm?" He asks, bringing his fingers down against her swollen clit. She squeezes her eyes shut, whimpering for him as he rubs his fingers against it in quick repetitive strokes. "Answer me," he barks the order, wanting to hear it again before he started to thrust his hips, "tell me you want me to fill your pretty pussy with my cum." His filthy mouth and the pressure on her clit already had her clenching for him. "Already?" He sniggers, removing his hand away from her. "You can cum again when you've told me you want."
She whines, too far stimulated to want to play his games, but feared he was cocky enough to leave her on the edge. "I want you to fill me with your cum," the sordid words rolling too easily off her tongue.
She rolls her eyes when he makes a comment about her wish is his command, the witty comeback she had planned silenced as he wraps his hand back around her throat. The tightness of his grip strangles her moans, leaving the slapping of his hips hitting hers and his own grunts to echo throughout her bedroom. He relaxes his hand every few seconds, giving her a chance to catch get a breath before constricting his fingers tightly once more around her throat.
"You better be ready to cum," there's a brashness to Mason's voice and sloppiness in his thrusts. His voice cracks as profanities spill, hips suddenly stopping and bottoming out; his upper body collapses on top of her, with his hand releasing her neck as his head buries into her shoulder. She squeezes him tight as another orgasm rocks through her body. "Keep doing that," he groans against her, hips beginning to move again, fucking themselves through each of their highs.
Y/N runs her fingers through his hair, both of them grinning ridiculously at the other. She doesn't untangle her legs from around his waist and he makes no attempt to pull out. A hum drifts from Mason when her nails scratch his scalp, letting her know he liked it. She does it a couple more times before bringing her hands down to cup his jaw, the facial hair pricking at her palms. Her lips find his as she leans in, leaving a soft, lazy kiss upon them.
"Well, this rug has now been officially christened," Y/N says, pulling away.
Mason looks down at their side, eyebrows momentarily raised. "This is a new rug?" He asks her. "I hadn't even noticed."

ineluctable
pairing: marcus rashford x gn!reader [they/them]
warnings: none
summary: the one where he enjoys watching them garden
Tumblr media
He wandered around his place trying to find Y/N. Peeking into different rooms, calling out their name in a space of empty. It wasn't an easy task. Marcus had left them alone some time ago, letting Y/N cherish some sense of individuality in a place where the two were always together. Because when they were together, it was Marcus and Y/N activities rather than either of their own. So alone—or simply apart—the couple would drift towards their personal interests and hobbies.
He should have known where they were from the time he went searching for them. It was a wonder as to where they were until it wasn't.
Leaning on the glass door, he watched Y/N out in the back garden, well, gardening. A hum in the air now and then as they busied themself, making the act of boredom (to Marcus) appear kinda fun. It was something that the two were able to bond over even if that bond could never live itself out; it would never exist. Y/N enjoyed the act of doing while Marcus preferred the act of watching. He couldn't do his garden justice like his partner did.
They shooed a bee away if it got too close for their likings, tending to every plant—every stem, every branch—with care and meaning like they were their kids. And maybe the plants were. Y/N personally brought up everything that lived in the garden. From when one was only a seed to now thriving nature.
Hearing steps from afar, Y/N pulled up their sun hat a bit. "You finally decided to come outside!" Gardening was a pass-time of their own, but an invitation for Marcus to join them was always available; he just turned them down for the most part. They gestured to the plants they were working on, smiling. "You wanna help your fav?"
Marcus leaned down to their height. He clasped his fingers together, sighing. "I would but--"
"I'm messy with you," they closed their eyes, humming as Marcus kissed them. "You'll only make things worse than better." Gardening wasn't a forté of Marcus. He dealt with soil and dirt like a child; he would create a mess that needed an explanation to justify.
"You sure about that?" Marcus folded his arms. "I think I'm a great help."
"You can be sometimes." Y/N gasped softly when they noticed a weak stem under his foot. "You would be a great help if you weren't stepping on my plants!" Upon shooing him away, they huffed when they saw the state of the flower stem. Now stiff and bent. "I've been growing it for a while, you know."
"I'm sorry, Y/N. I didn't mean to ruin your progress." And he meant it. Marcus couldn't fake an apology, to Y/N at least. He took his place on the grass beyond their gardening perimeter. "Let me just watch, at least?" He laughed to himself when they didn't respond. They weren't ignoring him (or maybe they were out of annoyance). But rather, they were so focused on fixing what Marcus ruined that they, unintentionally, blocked him out.
This was something Marcus came to recognise himself with. Spending time with Y/N, even if he contributed to nothing, was perfect for him. They didn't mind for the most part. It became habit for him. He would watch them in their space of gardening. Caring for their plants on the regular, removing an insect from a plant with care, contemplating on whether they should get more gardening tools. He found it amusing and cute. But he never said anything, allowing them to be in their space, a place where Y/N was comforted by the progress and beauty of a flourishing garden.
There was enjoyment in being around Y/N. From the beginning of their days, Marcus always held the want to be by their side. He would sit back, let Y/N work their wonders in his garden and participate in the act of observing and appreciating his partner at their personal best. It fascinated him how his garden went from an area of grass to something so much more. For that, and many other reasons, he had to keep them in mind all the time.
Even if he tried (which was never), they never left his mind. You must be so connected to someone—physically, emotionally, mentally—that you were inescapable from one another. And that was Marcus for Y/N. They were his thoughts, his prompt to do better, his reason to maybe slow down when he was overworking himself. They were around when they really weren't. The two were close in times when they were far apart. All of Marcus was Y/N, and all of Y/N was Marcus.
And even when they were his thoughts, they were far too hard to resist. The personality, the figure, the purpose of an individual. He was so attracted to all of that, to all of Y/N, and he refused to move away from it all. Why would he in the first place? Why refuse, even reject, everything that was all for you? They were the person he was falling all in every day.
Like he couldn't look away. I mean, he didn't want to look away. The appearance, the dress sense, the varied looks—it was all too appealing and simply handsome. They were everything one could be. And if not, everything someone else could never be. To reach their ankles in any way, shape or form, in Marcus' eyes was almost impossible for others. That was the result of being truly unique.
And all of this never dialed down during the act of gardening.
