Since it's video we've all already seen, and quotes from the book we've all already read, I'm gonna say... no. I don't see how it could confirm anything. Nothing has been confirmed either way?
But - this was like a video version of what people do sometimes on tumblr, which is throw a quote out there and just assume that the argument has made itself. No. That's not how literary analysis works. You have to actually make an argument and explain how the quote supports your claims. We've all read the book. I don't need to see more quotes from it. This person needs to tell us what they think the implications of those quotes are. Also, they need to not cherry-pick quotes. Put anything about Gwyn in there and the entire video is spun on its head. Hell, put anything about Mor in there and the entire video loses validity.
I could read some of the quotes (thanks French studies!) they showed and obviously I can understand what Sarah said, so I'll give it a shot. tbh, there is nothing original about any of the arguments in this video. They have been thoroughly discussed and don't hold up to context or scrutiny.
Nesta knows some of Az's secrets. Okay, yes, they grew closer! We knew that. Nesta and Az brotp. But Az has more going on in his life than Elain. Way more. He has been stressed since page one of acomaf when he hadn't even met her. Nesta understands Az in a way that others don't and I suspect it's because they recognized the rage in one another.
The crumbs are there - well, yes. I know Sarah isn't a big planner, but she has some idea of where the series is going? It would be completely ridiculous for there to not be indications? And I see all those indications pointing to gwynriel so...
Rhys and Az being mad at each other during the snowball fight - before that, Az had argued with Rhys and Feyre all afternoon over not being able to spy on Briallyn. Az has been pushing back against Rhys's authority with increasing frequency since acomaf. It's worrying Rhys and it's pissing Az off. Az has a tendency to get pissed off when his competency as a spy is questioned. There ya go!
Like I said, there is nothing new about these arguments. They are so thin and don't take into account any other context or how Az's relationships with other characters are going. Considering the importance that Sarah puts on friend relationships, it's surprising that people keep insisting that everything Az ever feels is purely romantic.
