HIIII PINK!!! When I heard you were leaving I was so sad I even started crying and started to doubt myself on entering the void. I was like “how tf am I going to get into the void without pink???” I started procrastinating reading some of your post basically stalking ur page staying up til 4 in the morning (I was desperate 😭). I realized that I already read all of ur post, nd I just was surprised on how much time I wasted trying to get into the void. And I always dreamt abt putting a success story in your inbox. I already had all the knowledge i needed so what’s the point of more? I deleted tumblr and thought of anything that could help me get in the void. I did SATS while listening to my subliminal playlist, i daydreamed abt the void and my desires for fun, i affirmed for my void concept randomly throughout the day, feeling of the wish fulfilled, listened to delta waves when I was abt to sleep, and I meditated once a day for 10 mins. Meditation was optional but whateva 🤷‍♀️. I ONLY DID THAT FOR THREE FREAKING DAYS. And Im still mad at myself for wasting time procrastinating for 9 months. I was going to take a nap and I was in a drowsy state, so might as well affirm for the void right? I started saying affs like “I’m in the void”, etc etc. Once I started affirming, everything was just calm Yk? My body wanted to move but it was like it couldn’t cause the state I was in was calm asf. So I closed my eyes and just repeated the affs in my head over and over and over until I got this feeling like as if my body was floating, then I payed attention to it for a split second then ignored It after. I kept on affirming then I felt like I was being pulled then let go and it was as if I was falling. Everything got darker and quieter. So then I got scared and jumped because that scared me soo bad (I’m a easy person to scare 😔). After that, I felt like I was actually a master at the void, I took a nap again and I had the same feeling but when I felt like I fell I kept my calm. Then I couldn’t hear my fan which was louddd, I opened my eyes to total darkness, I was scared for two seconds and realized I was in the void!! Ngl I had a whole list set up with my desires and I was ready to affirm and goooo!!! But I realized how calm the void is and stayed there for what felt like 5 minutes. I did affirm I had all my desires and that I was able to wake up in the void under 5 seconds. When I woke up from the void it was 9 pm and I took a nap at 2!!! I woke up with all of my desires nd shi. (I would explain in more detail in how I got in and stuff like that but I was in a rush and didn’t want to make this too long 😀)

She usually loves sleeping on your chest cus she can hear your heartbeat and that's so sweet.

Tingyun too, is a clingy women me thinks. She hugs you whenever she wants, wherever she wants. (You better hug her back)She doesn't care about the looks the people give you both. You just feel so warm that she can't resist.

Oh and how she'd miss your warmth when she's out on business trips, she'd definitely call you daily to tell you how much she misses you and also to complain about her customers.

Serval

Winters in Belobog were cold even though there were several heaters placed everywhere. But Serval's got nothing to worry cause you're there! Good for her.

She'd wake up to your adorable face with a smile every morning. And as you stir awake she'd hug you and wish you good morning with the biggest smile on her face.

She holds your hand at every opportunity she gets and making her let go is a whole task for real. Even when she's kissing you for what seems like hours, she never stops cupping your cheeks. She enjoys how flustered you become and how your face is warmer than usual now. Thanks to her little smooches.

And on cold nights she's basically using you as a blanket. (Mode change, human blanket form!!.) You don't mind tho.( You better not)

I like to believe that Stelle has either a really cold body or a hot one(heh, get it? Cus-)due to the stelleron inside her. So let's just think she has a colder body rn

After every mission, she's dragging you back to your room or hers to cuddle with you the whole day, your warmth giving her comfort and in her words, healing her.

On cold nights on the express, when she's feeling down she's relieved that you're always there by her side. Your warmth comforting her, literally.

You'd have to scold her and push her away sometimes when she tries to hug you after doing her daily routine of trashcan hunting tho. (i wouldn't really care if it's her tho. I'm down BAD) please don't hurt her feelings ,😔 she just bit silly.

She'd also have her hands all over you all the time. Are you planning on reading the follow up trilogy to Red Rising? I loved the original trilogy and was interested in whatever would come next but after reading some of the reviews idk anymore. Everyone says it's very dark and brutal compared to the first one and I'm not sure if I can handle more suffering for these characters when most things ended relatively well in Morning Star. Still sad over Pax though 😔

I LOVED the first Trilogy. Like 5 out of 5 stars. I tabbed them up like crazy too. Lmao I run a book blog too where I post reviews and still rave about this series over there. Truly loved them! And would recommend them all the time! Just, please ask for or look up trigger warnings before you start! Lol

The continuation Trilogy (of which 2 books are currently out Iron Gold and Dark Age) is a very different feeling. You get a significantly large new cast of characters as well as still following some of our old characters. With focus on the original crews children at times now too. It takes place like 10 years after the end of Morning Star. I gave Iron Gold 3.5 out of 5 stars. I wasn't as interested in the story as I was before and the new characters didn't have my heart like the old ones did. The story also just wasn't as captivating to me as a reader. But I did still enjoy it!

I ended up not even finishing Dark Age though. I put it down. I can tolerate a lot of things that would be potentially triggering in the books I read. This was too much for me. My review of Dark Age was this:

"I made it 80% before DNFing this book because I was hating all the character arcs for characters I used to love, on top of being bored and not caring about all the newer characters. The insane amount of violence that had zero reason to be that extreme was painful to read and was in my opinion, it was WAY too much. And I just couldnt read anymore. It was clearly just darkness and brutality for the sake of darkness and brutality. There was no need for the amount of horrifying events that didnt even do anything to further push the plot forward. I'll look up an online summary and get the big plot points I missed at the end, but I'm so sad with how this series turned out since I absolutely loved the original trilogy."

The one that eventually made me stop and close the book even when i was so close to being done was the brutal and descriptive murder of a baby. Gave me nightmares.

So Dark Age I clearly did not like at all. I also probably won't be reading the last book when it comes out either. I might just look up what happens to know what happened, but my interest is basically dead in this particular Trilogy. Lol BUT the first 3 books can be read as a Trilogy just fine on their own and I still will reread and recommend the original Red Rising Trilogy. I personally just wish the series ended after book 3. 😅

Some people did like it! I personally was not one of them 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't want to influence your decision too much, but it definitely gets a lot darker and a lot more violent from what was already a fairly violently brutal series. So if that's not your cup of tea, I probably would just let the Trilogy rest as a Trilogy 😂 I would still definitely buy and give a chance to a new series if Pierce Brown ever wrote something new! His writing style is one I do throughly enjoy!
